Have some ideas!
by The unicorn girl🦄 on 2019/12/11 22:35
When I first read the reviews, I thought: wow this does not seem like a very good game, but please everybody read this, don’t judge a book by its cover, or it’s reviews. I would have given this a 5 🤩, but I have some ideas that will def. help the game. The matching part is fun, but I think you should either get more money or lower the prices of the furniture. And at the end, I still have moves left but I canny use them for extra coins or anything! That should change. And why don’t we get to design our own character to use? I think that would be awesome. Plus, also for the matching, the amount of the little shapes you have to get is so much! Please lower that! Not a fan. Thank you for making a pretty good game though.
Pretty Satisfying
by vkyone on 2019/12/11 08:18
This is one of the main games I play when I'm bored/watching a Netflix show. I'm almost at level 1000. I've been playing for awhile, since before they implemented the ads and +2 moves. I honestly don't mind the ads for when you want an extra 2 moves but like throwing an ad at the end of each level? Honestly it's really annoying. I wouldn't mind as much if they threw in an ad at the end of after every other level but every level? C'mon it's legit annoying. Wanted to stop playing half the time due to the ads. I usually end up closing the game and reopening it just to skip lol.
Keep working on improvements - love the game
by Gina_23 on 2019/12/11 02:58
I love playing this game but it’s so hard to win gems and 10 gems a day I will never catch up to buying boosters with them. In addition to special challenge changes. This needs to improve. Also,I have to wait to too long after I used all my 5 chances. Waiting for half hour is ridicules. And was the reason I stop playing for months. What happened to viewing a video for chances to gain an extra chance. There should be more options to win gems and play more. In addition, I would like the chance to go back and play some of the challenges I’m not allowed to enter anymore. Please try to include on the next update. Thank you
Just okay
by realestatetycoon13 on 2019/12/11 00:25
If you like the game you have to play to design the rooms, then this is a good game for you. But personally, I only enjoy the interior design part. I wish there were more games where you could only design the room. For that reason, Design Home remains my favorite. There are many games just like this one where you have to play a level of the game to get money. That idea is overused. It would be so much better if you earned income from actually designing.
I’m torn.
by k91hop on 2019/12/10 23:35
I actually enjoy the concept of this game. But after a while, some of the levels just become impossible to pass within the five lives given. Having to continuously wait for new lives really turns me off to the game. I like the challenges. But only paying cash for more chances to play isn’t my cup of tea. Add more chances to gain lives in other ways, like watching an ad, etc.
Frustrating Game.
by Momolil on 2019/12/10 19:57
I am almost at the point of just deleting this game because it’s the most frustrating one I play. It’s so slow and if you don’t want to spend money on coins etc it’s takes ages to get through 1 level. The stupid look on the two characters when you loose ( again) is annoying. I play the other Scape games and they are fast and fun and I haven’t spent a dime on their game either. If you don’t play consistently you get dropped down a level and that’s annoying because this is my busy time of year and I do not have extra time to play.
Sad
by wizluvr23 on 2019/12/10 13:54
I live this game but am so disappointed that there is a piggy bank now and I am expected to make purchases, probably another one that is an app I will delete ☹️
Marvelous game!
by MGN Swarovski on 2019/12/10 10:01
Really great game! Wish it could activate the expired challenges and diy , so could have a fantastic collection of designs. Enjoy every moment of this excellent game. Thanks!
Bejeweled and some home design
by anoirot on 2019/12/09 21:46
The game isn’t really what I thought it would be it’s fun and you do some design but most of the time you’re playing bejeweled to get coins to pay for the things you need to design the space
Too many ads!

Home Design
by twish69 on 2019/12/09 03:33
I love the decorating aspect of this game. But the game isn’t fair. You charge $6, for 1200 jewels. Then every game ends with just one move to win. But you have no moves. More than half the game is played by the game. The suggested moves is always the only move. But it’s always far from where you need them. The single color square will always be the games choice. Never the player. It’s never a helpful move. I’m not buying jewels. Let me play.
To much about the puzzles
by Megg528 on 2019/12/08 14:33
I really enjoyed playing this game but it’s too much about the puzzles. They get progressively harder to the point of impossible. I’m ok working a little to earn the money and tickets but give me a break. No one wants to be stuck on a puzzle for days (really hard level) and then only earn enough money to not even complete a single purchase in the room (I only earn 800 and something costs 2,000) no thanks.
You killed me brother
by yehdnds on 2019/12/08 05:47
My brother with epilepsy and autism was playing this game one day and I walked into his room and he was so frustrated I asked him what was wrong and he had a seizure we called an ambulance but he didn’t make it I hate this game it is to difficult for people with disabilities

Way too many coins needed
by mousemoney on 2019/12/07 14:23
I shouldn’t need nearly 20K coins to put in a kitchen table. Especially when I’m winning a MAX of 975 coins per game. It’s impossible to stick with this game when it takes SO long to complete a room. I’ve grown bored.
Really good game

fun but stressful
by taeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. on 2019/12/06 18:44
i’ve always loved designing, so i was super excited to play this game - and hopefully be able to actually design - but it turned out to be a challenge. the puzzles were fun at first, and you didn’t have to worry about the moves; however, further on the puzzles became increasingly harder yet the moves stayed the same. i understand that the developers can’t just give players the round, but it would be nice if it was easier for people that struggle with puzzles like me. besides that, the decorating is very fun! you are limited to only three choices of furniture for each, but the aesthetics are pleasing and i love the client’s dialogue that pops up after each one. i also think that the challenges - i forget what they’re called, but they have little tickets - are very clever, and it’s fun to collect tickets as you pass through levels. besides the difficulty of the puzzles, it really is a fun and clever game! the developers did a good job.
i can’t beat this level
by whatheheckbro on 2019/12/05 18:02
ok so i’ve never written a review in my life but i’m getting really annoyed bc i’ve been on level 31 for 3DAYS? bro ik it’s just a game but i’ve had 3 other people try and beat it for me and the closest we can get to beating it is 1couch left and that is very frustrating.
Hate update
by shellyomg on 2019/12/04 21:20
Idk why since the update I have to wait on whole commercial completion to get to the next life! Makes me wanna get rid of game.
It’s Obvious
by Amaya Sanders on 2019/12/04 17:39
The game is fun for a while then it becomes super obvious they just want money. This game is like working minimum wage in California and trying to live off of it. If you’ve played this game you know what I’m talking about lol.
Stupid
by stupidwastaken on 2019/12/04 05:27
Stupid game. Started out loving it then it just got stupid. I want a game I can sit down and play at night and relax. This game just really pisses me off 👍
What is happening?
by kathboa on 2019/12/04 03:26
Recently the game has been crashing a lot. Why? I’ve deleted and downloaded it again and again nothing helps. I play this game daily. I love it. I don’t enjoy when it crashes mid game and I lose a life. Please fix it.
Definitely worth 5 stars!
by Michelleisazebra on 2019/12/03 23:41
Love this game. Wish you could save the hours you earn when completing levels and that you could have the option to earn gems instead of paying for them. Other than those 2 downsides it's a great game that's addicting and hard to put down.
Can’t even start game
by jsmith1590 on 2019/12/03 13:23
This app keeps kicking me out. I made it as far as the home screen and that’s it. Please fix.
It’s more of a match 3 than design game
by t3robinson on 2019/12/03 02:42
If you LOVE match 3 games then this is the game for you. I, however, find them boring. I came for the design aspect and found I didn’t enjoy having to complete match 3 puzzles over and over again in order to earn enough coin. It costs easily 10-15k in coins for a single design with one winning on average 700-800 coins per game. One is given a very limited number of lives and then one must wait before continuing to play. I have deleted the app and will continue looking for a game that’s focus is on design and not match 3.

Bug and new update
by WrostGameEverMade on 2019/12/02 17:17
When I updated the game I could log into anymore it wouldn’t let me so I re-downloaded the game and I started over which I was little mad about because I passed so many level and had save up to +100k coins. Now I’m restarting and I hate how one design make you pay 290 gems to have the better looking version of and design and what it look like what it was before the update.
Awwwww
by Amyt37 on 2019/12/02 08:00
I can’t give a 5 star cuz I am stuck on level 1106 every time I beat it the game freezes. I am so upet

DONT EVEN
by Kimwii on 2019/12/02 04:19
This game is so bad I recommend you just download a scam that’s better than this they took away my life’s and my coins and my Cupons and diamonds I Had a lot and the next day they where gone completely all my hard work just to win and this is what they do!?! I rather have somebody take my money than to play this game. Don’t trust this game. 😑 it’s so frustrating. I’m warning you! ⚠️ just trust me you DONT WANT THIS GAME REALLY also I only rated this one star because I could not rate it NOTHiNG if I was gonna share the comment! 🙄 still can’t get past level 90! And why? BECAUSE THEY MAKE IT HARD
Please read
by vjgds on 2019/12/01 20:00
I’m all for home design and this app is a good game to play when I’m bored. The only thing I don’t like is the way you earn the money to do renovations. It’s so hard to pass a level. Even when you do win you only hundreds of dollars when the renovations cost one thousand dollars or more. And in the ads they created above they don’t mention that you have to play games to earn money, I just thought they could give you a heads up on that.
Bummer
by Reddoggiegirl on 2019/12/01 17:22
This game was ok for while. Ok to play. But it’s all about your $$. I get it, but the new “improvement” is going to make me delete the app. Why? Because now, even if you decline to watch a video to earn a pathetic two extra moves, once you finish your game, you STILL have to watch an ad before you can play your next game. So, effectively, you’re punished for even playing the game. Power ups and gems are pretty much impossible to get, so to heck with it- there are like, a million other design games out there, so my advice is: keep.looking
READ THIS
by Read this book its AWESOME on 2019/12/01 00:26
the game is nice and I enjoy it, but it doesn’t give enough money AND YOU DO HAVE TO PLAY GAMES TO GET MONEY half of the projects give you $200 when you spend near 10,000 so ya 😕
They get you hooked
by Hopefully Unused Nickname on 2019/11/30 23:08
The graphics and designs are beautiful but you have to spend coins to buy the items to decorate the rooms. However, once you have a space decorated, you can redecorate without spending more coins. The big drawback is the only way to earn coins is to win them by playing the games which at first are fun and easy, but once they get you hooked on the fun of decorating and winning coins, the games become harder and more frustrating and the number of coins you win becomes less and the price of items to decorate becomes higher. The only way to play the game is if you have a life, and lives are obtainable only by waiting long enough or spending gems. They want to try to get you to spend actual money to buy gems to buy lives or finish a game, so resist the temptation folks! The game was fun and rewarding, now it’s just frustrating and a waste of time!

Was Great until the commercials
by Storm3181 on 2019/11/30 18:11
This app was great until the constant commercials were added. Sometimes the commercials freeze the game and I have to close the app in order to play.
Suggestions
by Musicmagician123 on 2019/11/30 06:30
This game could be a great with a few small improvements. Mainly, there needs to be another way to get boosters without spending actual money. Maybe a daily reward or prize for completing certain levels. If the issue is the game making money, maybe offer a boost or extra turn for watching an advertisement. Some of the levels are just too difficult to beat without any boosters and I don’t want to pay so I just stop playing. Getting stuck on a level for days at a time is just frustrating and makes me not want to play anymore.
CRASHING
by Mz Dork on 2019/11/30 01:12

Some things never change
by truman0907 on 2019/11/29 22:01
I thought the game was exciting and it was until your progress is penalized with those pesky levels where you win when they let you win. Unfair. The graphics are very good, the colors and designs are elegant but...I had to delete it because of the above said reason. Pitty.
Use to be a good game
by Chanelle_betty on 2019/11/29 21:31
I think this game is awesome and I use to play it all the time but lately it seems like they rigged the game to barely let you win any levels just so you’ll pay for more lives! It’s been taking me like 50 tries a level to even pass it! It takes WAY too long to finish a room this way because everything is so expensive!
The add lied
by gamer_boy_eeeeeee on 2019/11/29 18:38
The add lied. It did not mention puzzles to get coins. I was thinking this was a game with tons of choices for decor and that you unlimited coins to mess around in decor. Garbage game. Fix the add.
I hate this.
by L@mujerm@r@villa on 2019/11/29 18:21

Love it!!!
by N8Drummer on 2019/11/29 02:12
Great game!!! Although...Maybe instead of having to give 90 diamonds to get only 5 more moves, you could watch an ad and you could get maybe 9 or 10 moves for the limited time challenges. Please consider!!! Thanks
Pretty good game.....Just one thing...
by Coryxkenshinlover on 2019/11/29 00:01

Hate the newest version
by megclu on 2019/11/28 15:18
I loved the previous version because it was finally a game that I didn’t have to deal with ads. I cannot stand dealing with the ads now, and to me it is totally not worth watching ads to get more moves. Bring back the old AD FREE VERSION.
The Game play review
by yas this app on 2019/11/28 01:33
The game was not fun. I got bored in the first 10 minutes because it was not fun earning the money. But spending it was fun.
It’s not like it’s not fun but...
by Tabby Sederburg on 2019/11/27 23:06
I hate that you have to do those puzzles where you match shapes to get money, and you have limited moves, also, renovating the rooms is soo much money, like a unnecessary amount of money, for example: Putting pillows on a couch, 1,000 something dollars, like are you kidding me!?
I hate puzzles
by Aunt Jojo 22 on 2019/11/27 19:02
I hate puzzles. I just want to design houses. Puzzles get in the way.
Stole my money
by maddeey100307 on 2019/11/27 17:35
don’t play this game is really boring and you can’t make your house look nice with out solving these puzzles and it makes the game very boring. I also bought diamonds and it said error and it didn’t go threw but then i went to check it said it went threw and they stole my money and didn’t give me anything.
Bought gems and wasn’t credited.
by ShadowsFall77 on 2019/11/27 03:08
This happened to me twice. I tried making a purchase and got an error message. When I checked my purchase history with iTunes, I saw the purchase went through. I reached out to their support and all I got was robo replies telling me to upload my receipt from iTunes (which I did). After that I did not hear from them again. I wish I could give this app a zero star rating.
17K points to purchase 1 design element
by BevDeW on 2019/11/26 20:46
I’m at a level where it takes 17K points to complete one design element, but for winning a game (not hard) I still only get 975 points. On top of that, it takes lots of tries to even win. I loved this game but it isn’t fun anymore.

by Bsiszysgaiauxg on 2019/11/26 11:06
the matching games is stupid because it gets hard after a certain level so whenever i want to design, i can’t because i don’t have enough coins and can’t beat the level.
Love it!!

Needs work but fun
by Nicole269 on 2019/11/26 04:56
The levels are super hard to the point where I have to keep playing them over and over and over again. On the challenges, when you get an extra hour or a prize, you can’t save the time for later so that’s always discouraging if I don’t have time to play the game that long. I wish I could set aside the time to use it when I can play. I also wish there was a few more options for designing other than always 3 choices. Other than that the game is pretty fun.
Great game

Best Moments of Mindless Peace for a Stay at Home Mom
by Leemur Mama on 2019/11/26 04:25
I’m on level 1164. That means I’ve overcome more than 1000+ failed attempts at cascading shapes for each level’s collection goal, despite the challenges in my way. I’m not speaking of the challenges my daily life presents - two toddler boys with tons of energy, risking each others lives and health whenever they’re together and not adequately fed, entertained, loved, affirmed, pottied, and napped around the clock. No. Not these challenges. But even my babies’ sneezes are nothing compared to the dust-barricading dust bunnies in this game that, although adorable, cause extra work to achieve the goal. But what can I say! I’m already exercising my patience with the day-in and day-out uncertainties that toddlers with coughs, sneezes and endless appetites present. What’s another couple of spontaneously regenerating bricks and simultaneous ever-burning candles in my way?! I’m not sure how many months I’ve been playing this game, but I’ve been especially glad for the most recent update that allows for 2+ additional moves, as well as the mini goals that add to the fun & enjoyment, playability, and likelihood of winning. I’m never making space on my device by removing this app. It’s my happy place and reason to stay in the bathroom for 5 more minutes...!

by Robin Dunda on 2019/11/26 03:32
As you play to higher levels everything “costs” a lot more! It’s not a great way to reward a loyal player. IMO That said I do love this game in spite of that fact.
Not a fair game
by churchhillchick on 2019/11/26 03:27
I am currently on level 3527 😳 I am still making less than 1,000 coins per level yet the prices keep going up 🤦🏾‍♀️ It’s also not fair to be getting 30 tickets for the level I’m on competing against people on MUCH easier levels. I’m sorry I ever started playing this never ending game.
Very fun game.
by Pecan pie417 on 2019/11/26 03:22

More money
by Jcaplove on 2019/11/26 03:21
The game is really good but as the levels get harder, the money should increase as well. Level one gives you the same amount of money when completed as level 350. It's hard to pass these 300 level games and it takes a lot more tries for the same amount of money. Why wouldn't you increase the amount awarded especially when we are buying floors, walls, and furniture at higher prices than on the lower levels.
All time favorite game ever

Really Fun
by SKO55 on 2019/11/26 03:15
Really fun app for people like me who like home design. But it’s a little frustrating that you have to work so hard to pass levels and there’s never any bonuses or any rewards or helpers like in other games.

by LCRTBH on 2019/11/26 03:00
I enjoy designing the rooms, little annoying at times with the levels.
Love it, but there are no rewards.
by Binzo4 on 2019/11/26 02:57
This is by far my favorite game of its genre. The only frustration is that unlike every other game I play, there is no daily reward. The only reward is 100 points and 1 hour of play when a design is complete. There is an extra design each weekend for a limited time. Some levels take dozens of tries.
This game gives me life!
by Granmaof2 on 2019/11/26 02:54
I love the extra challenges we get now. I enjoy the decorating part too. The puzzles are challenging enough to keep me entertained. If I had one negative some of the decorations are, well nothing I like wish we had more options but other than that this game is my favorite!

by LRami511 on 2019/11/26 02:34
I really enjoy playing the game. It’s a nice distraction when you just want to play something simple, fun and creative. I do wish they it didn’t take like 20 mins or more to refill how many turns you get. I’ve paid for diamonds to get more turns but I do wish it would refill faster or at least get more turns. Or maybe have some games give you extra turns.
My favorite game!!!

Love this game.
Fun
by AvivaGi on 2019/11/26 02:28
I love the game because I like to decorate but as you get up to the higher levels it gets so much harder and items cost so much more, like 3,200-4,000 points. As a result it gets somewhat frustrating & I could be on a level for days. Wish they had awards or tools to make a change for some moves.
Fun for what it is—until the ad takeover
by 🕯🧭🐺 on 2019/11/26 02:25
Had a lot of fun playing this...right up until it started serving me ads after every loss. I don’t even mind the opt-in ads for extra moves or diamonds, but the ads you can’t skip for at least 10 seconds after every loss, on top of everything else...nope. I won’t be spending nearly as much time or money here. Breaks the flow.

I really like the game. However I think when you are not able to finish a challenge you should e able to keep your tickets

Too much
by outofchances on 2019/11/26 02:15
The items are starting to cost too much in money and tickets. It is making it less fun and more daunting. Also if you win time it should be when you are actually on it. I win and then I have to go to work and I lose it
Addictive

This game is addictive. I typically don’t spend money on any game app but never realized I would be buying tokens easily to zoom through levels. Love this game!

Love the game and design part, but after 2000 some odd games I would think each item would be less expensive not more! It should be just the opposite! Example: Early in the game a chair costs let’s say 800 points, now the same chair cost 2300 points.

Fun to do the renovations. Not fun when you get stuck on a puzzle for way too long, especially when you can only play for five minutes without playing. Would love to be able to save the time bonuses for future sessions.

Was loving this game but now can't update!
by Sunny.Daze on 2019/06/21 20:18
Review Update! Since last update I can not only download and play again but am able to participate in the limited time challenges too! So far so good! Thank U to the developers for working on it! So changing from 1 🌟 to 4🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars! Can't give 5 stars bc the boosters cost so many diamonds and I have yet to figure out any way to earn either the boosters or the diamonds. If ur on the fence, go ahead and download the game, very enjoyable to choose design of room decor as well as the gameplay is fun too! Previous Review: I loved the changes made which included the limited time challenges, but now I can't play them. Tried updating app but says unable to download?? When this happened on my iPhone support told me to delete the app and then download the app. I did so and had to start back at the beginning. Now my iPad Air 2 can't download the latest update, so my choices are to just not be able to play the limited time challenges (that I so enjoy) or start over.... not very happy about this! UPDATE: So I decided to delete and reinstall even if have to start over, I did so and now it still says unable to download and now I can't play at all on my iPad. I wonder if the developers even read these reviews ! Time for a bug fix update guys!! And yes of course I have restarted many times!
Enough with the ads already
by trying "another" on 2019/07/06 16:30
First, the review: it’s a solid match-3, with an actually interesting design component. You play a few levels, earn enough to buy a couch or paint the wall or whatever. Frequently you get “challenges” where you earn coupons for the time-limited room and also earn game-$, so when the challenge ends, you can spend that on your normal (‘career’) design projects. I’m on level 1881. The problem: the only way to get power ups is to pay real cash. There’s no daily reward, no spending game$ or unused coupons for power ups or a couple extra turns, not even a voluntary “watch an ad for a random useful thing”(which would work. People will watch a stack of ads for a stack of power ups. Seriously). For a while, you could extend play by watching an ad, but only by two turns (and the option wasn’t even always available). Now, without warning, they’re showing an ad after each level. Guys. My dudes. We get that you need to get paid. Just make it at least appear that you see the players as more than a potential wallet. You don’t win if the game is too hard or too annoying for us to bother with. Yay! You outsmarted me! Now I guess it’s time to go back to Playrix, who do know how to keep the players feeling valued even if they can’t afford to pay actual money.
Very boring. Don't download.
by 🦄SparklyRainbowUnicorn🦄 on 2019/01/22 23:33
For those of you who want to download a good game- pls read this!! This game is very boring. I downloaded it thinking that you could actually design your own dream home, but it turns out that you actually have to design only one room for some specific person (u don't get to choose the room), and plus you have to use your coins to pay for the furniture, which nobody wants to do. And you can't just earn coins either. You have to play this matching game to win them (another thing: the levels get really REALLY hard after level 20, so that's just another warning) and who wants 2 do that when this is a designing app??!! Designing has nothing to do with a matching game!!! It's basically more matching than desgiegning. And they only give you three options for a furniture choice, which is very limited. Basically I'm saying that you're not actually the one who picks the room you design and the furniture, they're the ones that do, and that's no fun. And then it's annoying because if you don't want 2 earn coins by playing that really tricky matching game, you have to buy them for like $5, which nobody wants to even consider. When you just pretty much waste your coins buying the furniture for the rooms you don't even get to pick. I literally got bored 30 minutes after playing this. So two days after I deleted it. Was very disappointed. I definitely wouldn't recommend this 4 people who are easily bored.
Could be better than frustrating
by isan1268 on 2018/05/13 22:45
This game needs some upgrade and fixing if you want to keep players interested instead of frustrated. First, keep it interesting by rewarding accurately especially on hard levels where you only awarding 700-1,050 coins? really? Especially when you still have 15 chances left after beating level. Secondly, how about giving extra diamonds to accumulate instead of over charging 90 diamonds for extra 5 turns or extend play or power buttons which I never get to buy why? Because I refuse to pay .99 or more every time I need a power button to destroy shapes, not worth it. Thirdly, nothing is more frustrating than playing same levels for days just so you can feel forced to pay in order to move on to next level as it starting to look pretty obvious the logic of of difficult levels Ive played (I’m on level 222). I’m already reaching point where game not worth playing if I can seem to reap a fair reward when I do beat levels just to keep me stuck at one design for days. After this level if there is no real change besides now playing your 5 turns blindly and hiding your additional coins by just giving one whole accumulated amt (which by the way is now lower than ever before) and more random because how do you calculate the points reward to coins given????? Like another recent reviewer, I will be DELETING this game and won’t reload until there is a big and better improvements
Entertaining but...
by ohlookitsprii on 2019/08/03 17:42
I’ve had this game for a long while now. I’m currently in level 268, which honestly I’m not even sure how I got there. I enjoy the concept of having to earn cash by playing the puzzle and using that cash to decorate the room. But after playing for so long, the puzzles just don’t give you enough cash anymore and the price to decorate something becomes extremely high. Each puzzle earns you about $800 to $1,000 but to decorate a wall it’s about $2,000. And the challenges seem pointless if you don’t finish it on time. It be cool if there was some type of reward when completing a challenge. Also to earn diamonds for boosters or extra moves requires actual money (which I don’t really do, unless I have a dollar to spare for a extra moves). It be nice if when finishing challenges, you’d earn some type of reward in boosters or diamonds or even a daily reward. I find myself playing this game either all the time or not touching it all but I’m so far into it that I don’t want to delete and have to start over. Overall, it’s an average app game with a cool concept but if you can’t be patient to earn enough cash I don’t think it this game is for you.
I thought this was supposed to be fun....
by Happy to read Gods Words on 2019/10/22 00:39
When I first started playing this game it was fun and I really want to give the game a 5 star rating but I can’t until some things change. I play games to take my mind off of my frustrations of my day for a couple of minutes. It seems like you are playing a computer and there is just not a chance in hell that your going to pass the level. Even when you follow the suggestions of the game you still lose. What is the point of playing. Once you get to the higher levels it becomes harder to pass the levels and once you pass it you only make a couple of hundred dollars but to remodel it cost a thousand or more. It sometimes takes days to finish a remodel because your not making enough money. Now they have add a DIY to the game and you have three tries to make through 8 levels and if you lose the three times then you have to start all over from the beginning. (Oh let’s not forget they are timed has well). It almost design for you to lose and spend real money. There is nothing you can do to get ahead in this cake. It is very frustrating. Maybe there needs to be a way that if you when a level with the DIY you can one of your tries if you win the next level or a way to earn more diamonds. Then the reward definitely need to be higher at each level to match the area that you remodeling. Please make some serious changes. It really can be an fun an exciting game to play.
Slow but fun
by blah blooh blooh on 2019/02/06 16:47
The game is fun and easy to personalize but my issue is the way the player is supposed to collect money. The puzzles are a good idea but don’t generate much revenue to work with because you normally have to use all of your moves, and the pieces that you match together aren’t worth anything. Something I noticed is that the puzzle drops pieces in a way that almost feels like you are playing against the computer; it is going against your every move to make you lose. Many other games are set up in a way where the algorithm drops pieces where it believes they can be helpful. Another issue is boosters and redemption: once you have run out of diamonds, you cannot use any boosters or buy more moves, thus making it harder to win. Since the only way to purchase diamonds is through actual dollars, which I’m not going to spend, I believe there should be other ways to earn diamonds, more lives, more moves, boosters, etc. Though advertisements are a pain, they are a good way for players to earn diamonds, money, boosters, or anything that would boost gameplay. That way we don’t spend our money and you make money off of the advertisements! It’s a win win. Love playing the game and wish I could spend more time playing but the way the puzzles work I can’t really move forward as fast as I would like to
Glad I’m not the only one

I thought maybe I was the only one who felt this way until reading the rest of the reviews. I love matching games with rewards and building things. I played Garden Scape for a long time. But everyday on Garden Scape you get to spin the wheel to earn tokens, power ups, etc. they have competitions where you can win prizes (I’ve won a couple of them). But this game is so ridiculous. I love the concept and graphics but in the month I’ve been playing this game, there have been no diamonds rewarded, no power ups rewarded. The levels are so difficult to beat. I only get $700-$800 worth of money when I win, yet everything costs $1000-$1800 to buy. It takes me so long to beat a level that by the time I’m done with a room, I don’t care about it anymore and I’m sick of looking at it. The difficulty of the game doesn’t match the rewards we get. You need to make some sort of addition where players can win power ups/diamonds/etc because I think a lot of people will throw the towel in when it comes to this game. Rewarding players makes it more exciting and gives us incentive to want to keep playing. It’s one of the reasons I love Garden Scape. Knowing that I’ll win prizes or stocking up on power ups is exciting for me as a player and this game has none of that. Might want to consider adding that to this game, if not, you might lose a lot of your players.
Why Is It So Difficult?
by Traveler889205 on 2019/06/13 02:07
I’m going to start with the bad first. I’ve been playing this game for about a day and am already frustrated. I downloaded it to get points in another game by the company, and if this is any indication of their other games, I will never do so again. The game started off okay, kind of annoying but doable. You have to “design” a room for a client and play a matching game to get coins for furniture. Should be simple but no. The design aspect you only get to choose between three colors/styles and that’s it. The furniture is increasingly expensive as you go while the amount of coins you earn stays the same. By the second room all furniture cost thousands of coins but I was only earning $800 on average. Then the levels get almost impossible. I’m on stuck around level 45 because it only has 15 moves. 15 moves to complete the level! They could at least increase the amount of moves with more difficult levels. Or increase the amount of coins earned. Or give bonuses, daily spins, something! Then you have to wait more than 15 minutes to get more energy. Progress will be so slow with this game I can already tell. I will only play to a certain level so I can get bonuses for my other game and then delete. Not worth it. All this said, the graphics are pretty good and the furniture looks realistic. Just wish we had more options other than choosing color.
Levels 120+ are rigged
by georgecgrier on 2019/07/23 04:13
This game is suspiciously similar to another, Property Brothers. The actual home designs of this game have less variety than Property Brothers, which are punchier looking and offer more options. However, I prefer this game because the levels have been easier to beat... or it used to be. I play both games the same amount at the same times; however, I am on level 89 in Property Bro. and level 148 here. This isn’t just about my skills anymore. Consistently, Property Bro. requires a perverse amount of rigged “combos” to beat one level. Sometimes a level takes 10-15 tries to beat. The design items are more expensive in Property Bro., making that game unsustainable for limited time challenges. I thought this game was superior in that sense. The levels were tough but not too tough, and I could meet challenges if I was dedicated enough. Now, entering levels 120 and up, this has changed. These rigged “combos” are now required to beat the level. No doubt, this is done to encourage app purchases of cheat items. I do watch all the ads, however, two extra moves is never enough to win a game. There’s a line between raising the difficulty and making levels nearly impossible to beat. If you do not want to purchase in-app, then this game is too frustrating and has failed the free user.
Great game but NEEDS daily incentive
by zdurden12 on 2019/01/08 09:05
This game is awesome it keeps you drawn in cause if you are like me i have to finish something or it drives me crazy. The decorating is extensive and the graphics are great! I just have one huge problem and it’s the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars!! I keep coming back every day to try and beat the level that has been keeping me frustrated for days, praying that they updated the game to have some kind of daily reward for those who are loyal to playing! Hell I would even take a “watch this video/advertisement for a spin on the will of power ups” buuuuuut no, no they have the same level with no power ups and the same buy this power up for 2 hours of unlimited lives. Sorry I’m not spending $10 for 2 hours of unlimited lives when I can’t beat the level I’m on for a solid week now. If you are looking to make money as a company start doing ads make money from them and offer your players something in return! Add power ups and get that extra star!!
Deleted , re -downloaded , and then deleted again
by Agameslove on 2019/07/12 08:49
I had this game for awhile and loved it. You get have little tasks each round like “get 40 purple” and “60 yellow” , each round u win you get approx $600- $1000 to go towards your renovation. In the beginning the “repairs” in the renovation only cost like 600 but as you beat more levels they start to increase more and more . Not to mention they’re is no daily incentive , no rewards ever. So some levels take days to beat. You can buy “diamonds” for extra moves and lives but you have to buy them with real money and these cost like 1-3 dollars for each power up!!!! CRAZY! However I got to level 1000 without ever having to buy a power up , so they aren’t super necessary. I deleted the app when I noticed the repairs starting costing like $2400 ! That means it would take like 3 to 4 rounds to make one repair . And there are like 20ish per house !!! Fast forward to a couple months later .. I was bored and forgot why I deleted . But quickly realized why I did... I got to level 1200 and now repairs are costing $2900! $2900 for some freaking house plants decorations. There is no scaling you earn the same amount you did in the beginning per level and now the repairs are costing triple !! So now it’ll take about 4-5 rounds to but some houseplants in a room. Annoying. Please fix this .
Long wait for lives, expensive & no extras
by Designer in waiting on 2019/04/08 01:54
This is a fun game. I like the furniture & finish options but find the cost for items to be off, it will cost you 3,000 coins for a five piece patio furniture set and 2,500 coins for two hanging plants on the front porch. It would be awesome if you could continue to play if you finished a round and still had moves left, but once you complete the task the game ends... no bonuses for leftover moves, bummer. Also, I am noticing everything is costing more coins as I increase levels but I’m not earning extra coins for completing the level... so it takes longer to complete rooms and is starting to get boring because the length of time it takes to complete a room. Also, I often need just one move to complete a round but have to purchase 5 moves. It would be awesome to have an option to purchase just one move for 50 diamonds. This game can get expensive. There are never any sales or specials. Overall fun but lags a bit due to the issues above. Also, takes 30 minutes to generate one life... if you have a hard round you lose lives in five minutes and aren’t full again for 2 1/2 hours... Aack. There is definite room for improvement.
This game just wants your money
by simplycassidy24 on 2019/11/05 15:09
There’s no actual designing of houses in this game. You play a series of this one game that is similar to candy crush to get to money to build these houses. But the levels get harder and harder that you end up having to play them a bunch to get any money because if you lose you get no money. The game is fun but the issue is that the algorithm that sets up the game board sets up losing boards so you pretty much are doomed to lose from the beginning. I noticed this because the board has to constantly reshuffle because there is only one move left. Also I hate that when you get freebies like the unlimited chances they get put on right then and there instead one should be able to choose when they want to use the special gift. Also when you actually get the money to build the house you only have 3 choices they aren’t very good choices and it’s unclear if you are supposed to follow the blueprint or choose your own. It makes the entire point of the game around the mini game inside of it and not actually building houses. Also I hate the limited time challenges. Especially with the algorithm like it’s pretty much impossible to do them. I think one should be allowed to go back to easier levels if they want and get money even if they fail.
I give this zero stars😤
by Jez😇 on 2018/08/06 02:21
This game was a game that I love(d) but as the levels get higher the challenges in the levels were almost too hard to beat and by the time I would beat a level I would only have time to buy on renovation on the house. It was sad letting go of this app because it was a good app, also one more thing to add, when there a limited amount of moves I suggest to use them wisely because they will sucker punch you when that one space you needed it not available. The only way to get more moves (5 moves) is to pay real money for gems🤦🏽‍♀️. In one of the cases, I was on level 41 and I had to get coupons to do a challenge which was the barn house. I only had a certain amount of moves which to be fair wasn’t even enough and it came to the point where I was out of moved and I had to pay 90 gems to get 5 moves more or retry, The point was I was so mad because I only had one, blue triangle and I already had the perfect move where I would get it done with one more move not 5 moves for 90 gems. You can only spent 90 gems one time with the gems the game gives you when you first get the game because if not you have to pay $.99+ just to get more gems. I think it’s just not a fair game with the spending money for gems, not enough moves, and how difficult the levels are.
ALL Complaints related, reasonable & have simple fix.
by SMcCan on 2018/08/24 02:09
I’m being extremely lenient re Home Design. I’d give 0⭐️’s if given option and/or rating based on game theory. My ⭐️’s are for design & potential(if managed properly). Every other review has words app & delete. There is NO correlation between challenge and reward, unless vast improvements are made, this game is destined, actually designed to fail. PLEASE add a daily reward, so simple hardly requires work plus no added expenses. Will draw players in daily, add incentive for streaks of play days, loyalty could easily become new normal. Ignoring proven $$$ making Game Theory guarantees failure, can't understand why any app as polished as this would ignore basics. Add a button to earn through watching ads, actually increase revenue and keep players happy, again, no real expanse, only benefit. I don’t believe you pay attention to reviews, but on off chance, you do, please consider something. I would thoroughly enjoy app if challenge were equal to reward as gameplay moves forward. Even as much as I like design portion, I see this being deleted in less then month if not improved. The “candy Crush” aspect isn’t my issue, it’s the extremely low energy amount and ridiculous time to build more.
Love it, but.......
by Jenna1173 on 2018/07/16 23:58
I am enjoying the game, but do not like how as you progress in the game, the puzzles you have to play in between each level to earn money are becoming increasingly harder — to the point where they are almost impossible to pass without having to use the gems for 5 more moves & ultimately forcing you to purchase more gems just because you are tired of tying to clear that puzzle and are desperately willing to do whatever to just get more money to decorate the room again. Decorating is my favorite part & I’m becoming increasingly more frustrated to the point I’m about ready to throw in the towel. If there were a few “easy” puzzles every now & then, that would help. I’m not opposed to spending a little on more gems every now & then, as it helps them to create new games that I might like. But not every time to clear a puzzle & pass a level so I can earn enough money to buy ONE item. That’s the other thing, the items are ridiculously priced that you can only buy one thing after clearing 2 puzzles (if you’re lucky). Reduce the prices of some of the items so it’s more beneficial to the game. So about to be over this game.
It was great until it wasn’t
by CMMK2015 on 2019/11/21 04:54
I’ve been playing this game somewhat religiously for 5 months now. It’s a really enjoyable way to just kind of zone out and not have to think about things too much. Plus the design aspect is pretty awesome! But it’s gotten incredibly frustrating. I understand that as the levels progress they get harder, that’s a given. But it’s gotten to the point where it’s taking me days on end to pass just one level(I’m on level 1550 or so). I’m finding myself playing less and less because it’s just not enjoyable anymore. The DIY challenges are also ridiculously difficult. I was able to complete the first one, but have barely gotten halfway through all of the ones after that. I want to actually be able to play the game again, because I truly do enjoy it, but you can’t even go back to the beginning and replay levels without getting the reward coins, so I’m just stuck feeling frustrated for several days while I struggle over and over again with the same level. Unless something changes, I’ll most likely be deleting the app out of frustration, which is really disappointing.

I think most can agree they downloaded this for the home design feature of the game, but the bulk of it is matching to earn coins. I’m cool with that, but the levels get extremely hard. When a limited time space becomes available, I’m not even able to complete it because I’m unable to earn enough tickets. Speaking of tickets & coins.. a clock should NOT cost over 2k?? These costs become ridiculous after a while & you don’t even earn enough coins per level to purchase 1 upgrade. As much effort as it takes to complete a level, you’d think we’d receive more than $750 coins. Where’s the power ups? The gems? I was given around 110 coins at the beginning but wasn’t given anymore. There should be a way to earn these things if you want to keep people interested. Looks like they’re losing interest quickly. If you want to force ads on us, at least give us a free power up, or some coins.. maybe some gems.. something... And for heaven’s sake, cut down some of the dialogue. The people on there talk tooooooo much I just skip through it without reading. I just want to design.. that’s it that’s all.
5% Designer / 95% Candy Crush (tweaked)
by Dae Druson on 2019/07/03 03:38
Unfortunately, the truth is it isn’t really a home design app. TINY increments of design is the reward for beating Candy Crush-esque challenges that get REALLY hard really fast. It’s one thing when the side puzzle slows you down a little, but it’s entirely different when they stall you out completely. For me, this happened in just the second room you work on. Let me repeat that - the SECOND ROOM. Suddenly after level 35 it took 10-15 minutes to complete the puzzle, and I failed half of them, which forced me to wait half hour increments before “regaining energy” if I couldn’t get it in the first few tries. Then, even after I completed the challenge I would only have half the gold I needed to buy the light fixtures which cost around $1000 for some bizarre reason. Very frustrating. This game has a lot of potential, but with some pretty major issues to work out. The designing part is actually pretty fun when you actually get to do it, despite it being pretty controlled. I’d love to try it again once they balance out the puzzles. I’d give this game 5 Stars if it was marketed more like Candy-Crush, but unfortunately it’s nothing like what I was looking for when I downloaded a home designing app.
Needs changes

I spend a lot of my spare time playing this game and I love the feeling I get when I finally beat a difficult level that’s been bothering me for days, but the problem is that with every level, you hardly gain enough coins to enjoy the sole reason why most players downloaded the game! The home design aspect of it. That’s what the game is called and that’s a small percentage of what you’re doing while playing. And the biggest problem is the challenges. I’m glad I don’t need to use coins to complete them and they implemented an entirely different currency (tickets) but the challenges don’t last long and half of the time I don’t bother with them because I know it’s almost pointless and seemingly impossible to finish. If the challenges lasted a lot longer then they would be much more enjoyable and if you got a bigger payout with the completion of each level (or the prices of furniture lowered so I’m not paying 1,900 for some decorations) the game would be one of the most addicting and most enjoyable games I have ever played. Also if a “watch ad for extra coins/tickets” mechanic was added that would be extremely awesome!
Please adjust the focus/ purpose of this game

Are you a design game or a bubble game? I haven’t played too long but I am on level 112 so didn’t just start either. I downloaded this game strictly for the design function of it. Admittedly I have not and have no intention of purchasing any of the additional options. Because clearly even if I do they don’t get me anywhere on the design function. Started to write this review first then I looked at a couple of the other reviews. Clearly I’m not alone. While the popping cubes/ shapes part is fun, it is not the reason why I downloaded this game. You might want to look at doing something different instead of the same thing as everyone else. I also like the ad on challenges specifically the retro trailer and the landscaping, but I don’t have a lot of time to devote to my game time and use it strictly to relax. Knowing that I spend the majority of the time I allow myself to play the games trying to beat a level to get five coupons out of something that needs 100 coupons to proceed does not work for me. I’m guessing you need a certain percentage of gaming time versus the function but you’re way off- might want to rethink it and future versions.
Level difficulty is a little too much...
by cbrycie on 2019/09/30 14:29
I realllyyyyyy want to love this game more, as I love design home games like this, and I find the puzzles a little soothing. But this game is a tad ridiculous... Once you get into the level 20s, the puzzles get extremely difficult! The boards already have impossible tasks to complete in like 15 moves, ON TOP of it wanting you to collect like 80 of each color. There’s absolutely no reason anyone should be using every single one of their lives and taking days to complete a single level in the 20s and 30s.. That’s just crazy. I get more frustrated than anything playing this game, because if you can’t beat levels, you can’t renovate the rooms. When I first downloaded, I was having a blast and enjoying myself so much. I was thinking about how this was easily the best renovation/puzzle game I’ve ever played! That didn’t last long.. Literally, I hadn’t even had it downloaded a full day before the puzzles started getting insane and I couldn’t progress anywhere. I love a challenge, and of course I think a bit of a challenge is needed, but this game takes that way too far..
Better than Property Brothers but still just a puzzle game
by yal lie on 2019/09/11 23:51
**FINAL UPDATE: deleted block game. Waste of time. Bye bye. **UPDATE: Got to level 98.... been playing off n on for almost 3 days and still haven’t beat the level. Not even frustrating anymore, it’s a joke. Now I just click in every once in a while. Prolly delete it soon. What’s the point? - Had high hopes for this one. Property brother has better look to it and more options on products/features etc. but that game is so stupid with their puzzles I deleted it. This one started off well with good return on puzzles which left a lot of room for actual design portion... which should be the main component in a “design” game? Right? You would think. Still the puzzles end up so challenging that you spend multiple lives trying to win and it ends up just another puzzle game with a surprise of being able to buy a plant every once in a while. Just want ONE design game that is actually about design. I understand the puzzles and like the concept, it just needs some tuning, stop being so difficult with the puzzles. Yes it’s supposed to become increasingly difficult the higher you go, but sheeeeeeeesh lets keep it a design game okay??? it’s not smart it’s just boring and annoying.
Good game but needs work.

I really love this game. The graphics are done very well and the game play is fun and challenging. However, I’m on level 56 currently and I wasn’t expecting this high degree of difficulty as yet. Now if it I was on a level in the 90’s or triple digits ok fine, no worries. It would also be wonderful to get daily bonuses, for those players who can’t afford to buy diamonds, money, & so on. Since I’ve been playing I’ve only received one power up or bomb. Lastly, I’m on my 3rd room and have completed an exterior in a challenge but the only colors l have been given a choice of is white, and some shade of brown or gray and that’s it! There are more colors out there people and it would be nice to get a choice of style, then a color choice. (i.e. say a client wants a county kitchen and we’re working on the cabinets. Then give us give us three styles of cabinetry say traditional wood, wood with glass panels and some third option to choose from, then let us choose form one of three colors for said cabinets.) Other than the for-mentioned suggestions, I really do enjoy the game and I would recommend it to my family and friends.
Great quality game!!
by lcjcbcc on 2019/07/01 12:32
Wanted to update my last review! The last time I reviewed this game was probably six months ago and I did not give it a great review because the difficulty of the levels had come to a point where it was no longer fun. And it wasn’t a lack of skill for the game on my part. After looking at reviews I could see that it was a pretty universal opinion that the game was no longer fun. Shortly after my review though the game had a huge update and the creators really took in the players consideration. It’s not often that an App does this and typically they are more about the money that they are earning then putting out a good quality game. But you can really tell whoever designed this game really wanted an app that was entertaining and was great quality! You guys, I can tell, have put so much love and effort into this and it’s so appreciated! I’ve never played a game for this long and it all has to do with how much the creators care! Good job guys! And happy 1 year anniversary!
No Rewards with this game
by Myrelilop on 2019/06/12 22:43
Update: Two recent updates have made this game unplayable... Latest update now changed the “speed” and effect of falling shapes, which is frustrating and the last update requires u to have an advertisement play every time u lose a board, u get five lives u have to watch five videos when u lose each life in order to replay the level. This is terrible, uninstalling... I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months now and like many other reviewers I have some complaints. First I enjoy the matching and design aspects of the game, I like variety and this combo works. However while I enjoy beating levels I also would like some kind of reward. In this game the coins granted for wins is less than the cost of items to add. You do not get any diamonds or power ups, not for beating any level or completing any timed challenge. What’s the point of having a timed challenge? You would think it’s to dedicate more time to the game and receive a reward, but no the only reward is to complete it before it’s gone. If the developers come up with some type of reward where players can earn diamonds and power ups as an alternative to paying then this game would be far more enjoyable.
Frustrated
by SheriArizonaGirl on 2018/11/12 15:07
This game has lots of potential but it desperately needs to throw you a bone once in a while just like the other games where you spin a wheel or earn bonuses where you can blow up certain colors or rows or switch pieces. You get stuck on a level for days and days and are unable to finish any of the challenges. If you want go back you should be able to maybe earn diamonds throughout the game and purchase the challenge level you want to complete with those diamonds you earn. They need to revamp it and give us some free moves and extra moves or something. Very very frustrating. I end up putting it down for days before going back to it. Please please give us daily bonuses, a spin wheel, earn extra pink diamonds. You never give us anything. Oooh you did just improve it a tad by giving us gifts if we get so many wins but it only lasts for a couple days and is hard to get again as you get stuck on levels for days. Please end this frustrating feeling with this game. When it’s flowing good and I can design a room it’s a lot of fun!! Please work on it got all of us!! 👌👍
Would love it but I just can’t...
by Paris51690 on 2018/09/04 01:10
I was super excited to find another home design game (I play Design Home) and loooved the set up of this game but have quickly found it more frustrating than fun. 2 challenges have expired before I got to design because it’s been impossible beating levels (even the beginning levels took way too much time) to earn coupons. I’m on level 101 and have been stuck on the past 5 or so levels for days at a time EACH level because there’s no logic to how to beat the level, it’s just a matter of luck. It makes no sense to give 19 moves but u have to collect over 100 gems and 12 plants like what?! you’d have to hit some seriously lucky moves to get all of that accomplished. But I suppose that’s why the allure of 100 diamonds for .99 cents is there even though extra lives is 90 diamonds each and then to get extra fancy powerups before entering the level are 250 each...i’ve been at 50 diamonds (i think) basically since i started and i’m pretty sure i got those just in the beginning of the game so there’s no way to earn diamonds (should be from challenges). The whole premise of the game seems to be profit driven versus for consumer enjoyment purposes and that’s a major bummer.
Overall great, some bugs here and there.
by Kin0991 on 2019/11/20 00:06
Awesome game overall. I don’t know what the people are doing who have no money, I complete a room almost every other day, sometimes more, and I still have over $3million. I have never bought gems, power ups, or anything like that, just played the game. The designing elements give you enough possibilities without being over or underwhelming. This isn’t just a design game, so it’s not going to blow your mind in that way. The puzzles are decent, most of them are beatable within the first 5 attempts, rarely am I stuck on one for more than a day, but why would you want boring easy puzzles that you pass 100% the first time, IMO. I can normally get out of the ads before the 30sec is up, so not that big of a deal, rather deal with it than pay. The new DIY is way more challenging, which is nice, but it might be balanced a little, nobody I know who plays it, including myself has beaten it yet, but that’s how it works for now.
Not the only one....
by what the... on 2019/07/26 07:42
As I can see I’m not the only one complaining about the game play. I’ve sent questions and complaints regarding this to “support” and they just sent me threats that they will block me from playing for doing so. They stated it was because I wasn’t “ sending in legitimate complaints.” Well, as I can see I’m not the only one complaining about this, I’ve seen at least a dozen of the same complaint, so it seems legitimate to me! Only five lives given and it can take hours to try and pass just one puzzle. Even if it’s just 15 or twenty minutes at times, that’s still ridicules! The outrageous price for items versus the little bits you get when you do pass creates you being stuck on a single room for days. This is NOT a room design game. It’s a “candy crush” type game with small amounts of time spent “designing” rooms with items that only have three choices to choose from. A waste of time, and completely frustrating! I would give it zero stars but I had to put what I did in order to give this feed back! Due to the threatening tone they took with me and the fact I now feel threatened, and the lame game “play” deleting this game. I would recommend it to no one!
Awesome game! But...
by Lelo1995 on 2019/06/22 03:28
I have had this game for a little over a year or so now, and I love it! It’s fun being able to choose how we would like the room to look. My only issue is that I wish we had more ways to earn gems besides just paying for them. It’s annoyingly having to waste a life when you’re less than 5 moves away from winning a level you’ve been trying to beat for days. Having to pay for gems so we can have more move in order to beat those levels shouldn’t be the only way. Maybe in one of the next updates we can have easier ways to accumulate those gems? I understand it’s a free game and that your money needs to come from somewhere, but can’t there be ads we can watch to get gems? Or something? There are a ton of games out there that have ads where you can accumulate things to help you pass levels. Maybe something to think about! I’m sure a lot of people who play this game regularly would enjoy it!
Company cares about money, doesn’t care about the players
by Zanaax3!! on 2019/01/23 05:11
I’ve played this game for a while, more than 1,200 levels in and I’m deleting this game today. I’ve read the reviews multiple times over the past few months and it seems like the developers are completely ignoring the criticisms and suggestions of the players they owe their success to. Being stuck on a level for days, then finally beating it only to find you can’t use your earnings to actually design, as its not nearly enough. Or feeling as though I’m being set up to fail, or losing a level only needing a few more moves to win. These are all tactics to entice people to spend money on the stupid diamonds. There’s no other way to earn diamonds or power-ups other than purchasing them with real money. “Troys gifts” or whatever tried to rectify this, but you need to beat 25 levels in I think 3 days to earn any diamonds. Pretty difficult when you consider the amount of people who have trouble beating just one level in that time. Sad to delete the game as it is fun. However, I know I can find a better game where the developers actually listen to the players, and care more than just profits.
Great Game but a Few Suggestions
by Katherine 😃😃😃😃 on 2019/01/11 02:44
It’s a great, mostly relaxing game. I’ve played other designing games before but there’s so many options that I never know where to start a room. With this, there’s a blueprint and everything but you’re still allowed to make each room your own. I also like that you play levels to earn money for the different items in each room. For each of the special, limited time levels though, I wish there was an option to be able to continue them after the time is up, even if you had to spend coins earned in the game to do so. Sometimes I’m almost done with one of those rooms but the time runs up and I can’t even see what I was able to do or add other items to it; the challenge just ends and locks me out. I also wish that maybe there was a way to makeover entire houses or more rooms for a client. Each person seems to have a little story and I’d like to see more of that.
Regular player
by Anniem4545 on 2019/04/18 04:39
I am a serial phone gamer. I go from game to game to game because I always get sick of them. I’m on level 822 and still (casually) addicted. It’s just so simple to keep up with. Challenging but not too challenging. No ads! And has a fun feature on the weekends where there’s a bonus place to design and you earn tickets for it during the regular levels. Just adds that extra thing to keep me motivated. I wait for my lives to refill and do not buy them, which at times has been challenging but I’ve made it through 🙌🏼 this is a very ideal phone game, I don’t see myself stopping any time soon! Also- I’ve only ever been stuck on a level for no longer than a day. Like all matching games like this is can often need luck and it can often need skill. I’m surprised the levels are not harder than they are at this level(and glad about it). I don’t not understand the reviews saying the levels become impossible.
Good concept, poor execution
by audreyh3900 on 2018/05/22 02:12
I downloaded this game because the designing aspect seemed appealing, but was quickly brought to a crude reality that I would just be playing Candy Crush 2.0 99% of the time. But I decided I would just deal with it because the ideas looked fun and I enjoyed creating a living room, and I was able to advance levels fairly quickly. Now I have been stuck on level 179 for 3 weeks now and have literally played the game every day trying to pass it. I understand the need for new app developers to make money (through purchasing extras) but if you advertise a free app, you need to at least make it somewhat enjoyable so it isn’t straight up deceiving. I am now deleting the app seeing as there is no way for me to pass the level without spending money on extra moves, and I simply am not able to spend a crap ton of money on a game app for my iPhone that will only lead me to another level I’ll just get stuck on. If you are able to make changes to this app, I would be willing to redownload. But as of now, I’m deleting this one and downloading a different home design app.
Not a lot of reward for effort
by HelloNurse! on 2018/11/03 01:50
I totally agree with another reviewer named Andrew. It’s a fun game to play but my major complaints are (please listen up developers) 1. It takes a ton of coins to renovate the designs. Thousands of coins to buy 1 design element and certain projects have very intricate designs and takes a long time to accrue coins. 2. You get no coins for playing daily or for even playing no matter if you win or not, you should get to keep the coins you earn or something.. like other games I’ve played. 3. Limited design challenges are fun but you don’t get the tickets unless you beat a level, 4. You get stuck on levels and sometimes forever before you can move on and some seem impossible to do unless you literally spend $$$$ in real money to buy advantages. 5. I wanted to be rewarded for playing even if I can’t beat a level and I want to feel like I’m making headway in the game, yet I don’t think you care, you just want people to spend money on buying advantages so you make the game frustrating and unfulfilling
Ridiculously difficult
by L4yn1 on 2018/07/03 14:17
The only reason I can give it one star is because I love the TV before and after concept at the end of each room. Problem is, I've only completed two rooms after the tutorial in the month I've been playing. There are no daily rewards to help you play and encourage you to return, there are no where near enough turns to complete the requirements for each level- you have to get extremely lucky with chains of matches to beat most levels. There are evident power ups on the side bar, but I've only been awarded one of them. It appears the only way to get diamonds is to buy them, and I agree with the reviewer that said the purpose of the game seems to be to frustrate the player into buying the diamonds or power ups just to pass a level they've been playing for six days. The difficulty I'm playing at level 50 is usually the difficulty I see at level 300 on other games. I also have to beat two or three of these impossible levels, now, in order to purchase one element for the room. Too little reward for the effort. Homescapes may be cheesy at times, but I'll take it over this game hands down.
I Don't Think The Developers Care 🤔
by Peppa70 on 2018/11/11 16:42
So I've been playing this game for a couple of months now. I have it on both my phone and iPad and I am at different levels on each but I keep asking myself why am I still playing it???? I don't even think the developers care and they definitely are not reading these reviews because if they were they'd make some improvements! I have literally been on the same level for over a week and I just beat it today and what did I get.....a measly 865 coins! I can't buy anything with that, absolutely NOTHING!!!! And forget about completing the challenges I don't care how many days they give you, you can almost never win enough games to get the necessary coins to purchase everything. How do you plan to keep players interested if you make it so hard for them to win! I give it two stars and that's just because of the actual designing aspect and the nice graphics, other than that it's a waste of time. There are no bonuses for playing, no way to earn extra coins, diamonds, boosters or lives and you definitely don't get enough moves to win.
Great game but needs work
by shhsjidgg on 2018/06/12 14:42
I have finally found a game that I love! The graphics and choice of designs are perfect! The only thing that becomes frustrating is that some of the levels can be too challenging and cause me to eventually go to a different game. I like a challenge and finding a strategy to pass levels, but it seems that some levels are not based on strategy and more of luck. Especially when making a move to have another move follow...yet because of continuous pieces falling it causes your plays to not go as planned. Maybe there could be an option of being able to still move your pieces as they are falling, rather than waiting for them to finish? This is overall a really great game, if the levels could be a bit more modified to be able to strategize and win. Possibly even allowing the power up diamond that clears lines up down and across, to shatter the boxes and make it a colored piece? I loose confidence and don’t want to play anymore after spending days on same level. Please work on it 😊
Boring
by ptqgb on 2018/12/11 18:23
This game starts out fun, however, you find yourself constantly playing to win a level over and over and over. I played 1 level over and over 20+ times and still unable to win. It takes the excitement out of decorating and it’s no longer about designing, it’s more about playing a game than designing. In addition, when you finally win you don’t win hardly enough to purchase one thing, therefore, you’re going back to play over and over just to purchase one thing. I understand they want you to spend money but even that would be horrible because they’ll allow you to win a few times in a row but then want you to keep buying thereafter just to win. It wouldn’t be so bad but when you play over and over the same level you dont win nothing! No booster, no diamonds- you get nothing at all. The challenges are better than designing a room, you should at least get to keep your coupons even if you don’t win. It’s not like you win lots of them. You barely win any coupons also. I don’t suggest this game if you have no plans on spending lots of money because that’s exactly what they want! Good bye!

Ok. I love playing this game but getting stuck on games drives me crazy but , I have found out that when I get stuck that means I need to go update and than it usually works.. my main issue is that it takes to long to win a level and than don't win enough to even buy something. I think no matter win or lose we should get to keep all points earned so it don't take so long to design and get more point win we actually win the level..which is the best part of this game need more of that for sure. And I love the new challenges but I can never finish them in time so than I get mad because I never see the finished product and that is why I play this game no one has all day to sit and play this game so we need longer... but I am with everyone else the graphics and design is good.. p.s oh yeah need different games to play besides candy crush..gets boring UPDATE: stuck on level 805 for days even didn't get to finish the new challenge ugh fix it...
Uninstalling
by Edyth456 on 2019/05/30 02:51
I been playing this game for a few months now and I used to love it. First of all this game is design to make you spend real money. I didn’t cared and decided to continue to play without paying for boosters or extra gems, but recently it just became a nightmare. I was on level 360 this is when the game starts to get annoying and harder. I really don’t mind being stuck on a level for a day or two but now just recently in the last update the added MORE ads !!! Every time you lose be prepare to watch an add !! They had ads once in a while or the option to watch an ad for 2 more moves and now I am forced to watch and ad every time I don’t past a level!!!! If you don’t mind watching an ad every minute and getting frustrated because you only get 5 energy every so often then go ahead and get this game . It is fun until it starts to get hard and annoying. I really love the concept of the game I wish they didn’t had so many ads and had more energy, that would probably make it a lot better. Also maybe getting boosters as rewards for challenges. But I am done with this game. Thank you next!
Home Design Review (+Suggestions!)
by Notsokooooolkid on 2018/05/26 21:36
Hello! I’ll start this review off by saying that I absolutely love this game! It is very fun and the levels are nicely varied! I find myself playing this game for hours. I don’t usually review a game unless it offers me something in return, but I just HAVE to review Home Design! I think the only problems I have come across is 1) the time it takes to regenerate energy. The game is really fun, but sometimes I do encounter tough levels, which, is perfectly fine! The only issue is that it takes a good 30 Minutes to regain ONE energy. 2) I think there should be an “extra move” tile in this game. You know, one that could be matched and you gain a move from it. 3) The only other thing I would say is that the movements are a little slow and jaggy. For the puzzle, the movement and animations are wonderful! On the Design aspect of the game, not so much. Anyways, I really love Home Designs, and there are a lot more “pros” than “cons”! Keep up the good work!
Only one problem...
by Rayrayrayrayrayjbcdjfbrkfbdf on 2018/06/24 23:27
Please read... This is one of my favorite games, it’s fun especially if you like interior design. The furniture and decor you can choose from is not overwhelming, and it’s stylish and up to date. The only problem is getting the money you need to actually design the home. To get the money, you basically have to win a matching game, like candy crush but with a challenge to complete for the level. Some of the levels are very very difficult and frustrating. It isn’t very fair because that’s the only way you can get money. So I wish there was either another way to earn money, getting more money after winning a game, or just making the levels easier. This shouldn’t be a dealbreaker, though, as it takes more time to finish the game with it and there aren’t THAT many gigs, so there’s no way you can finish it in a day which is good. It’s still a great game but one of those options would make it so much better.
Nope, nope, nope.
by Egnorman on 2019/03/16 13:53
I don’t know how this game has so many stars. The designing part of the game is very fun, but the vast majority of time is spent doing the stupid match 3 to be able to “afford” the items for the designs. If I’d wanted to waste my time on a boring match 3 game, I would have installed a match 3 game. I installed a design game, but very rarely get to design. And these match 3s are wayyyy too difficult (without spending money for tricks to beat them...). It’s a ridiculous cycle of play and fail, play and fail, play and fail, play and fail, play and fail, run out of “lives”, put down the phone and wait for new lives to regenerate, do the same thing all over again. If the only way to get cash/tickets for the designs is via match 3, they should be easy enough that we can beat them in 1 - 2 max - attempt(s), so we can spend more time designing, as it is a DESIGN game. OR if the match 3s have to be so difficult, let us win enough cash/tickets from one game to be able to place many design points, instead of having to beat 2 match 3s just to be able to afford one design point. So, SO frustrating. I’ll be deleting this game.
Goodbye Home Design

I’ve been playing this game for months and months. I’m up to Level 203 so I’m hardly a novice. I’m on the Hard Level, playing both the regular challenges and the Limited Time Challenges. I’ve not moved forward in 2 weeks. Hey I like to be challenged but I almost feel the algorithms are being manipulated. OK I’d be willing to keep at it.... however.... to add insult to injury we have to endure the interstitial ads. As a 15 + year Apple Alumni working closely with developers and the App Review Team I fully understand the need to generate income. I play other games with pop up ads but none that will make you sit through 30 second ads. Perhaps a change in the business model may entice me back to the game but not until there are some fixes to the algorithms. To ensure you generate much needed revenue... you may think about offering an option to purchase the game in lieu of these dreadful 30 second ads. OK some advertisers are paying less for shorter ads but still, play is not only disrupted by time outs but this is compounded by your lengthy interstitials. My frustration level has peaked so I’m out. Sorry.
OH MY GOD THESE UPDATES ARE STUPID. Get rid of the candles and elves. Dumb.
by MerJor on 2018/07/28 15:21
I love and hate this game. It is a great way to mindlessly occupy myself. But some of the levels take literally 20 tries to beat, it is ridiculous. And there’s absolutely no reward or level up bonus so if you can’t beat a level, you just have to pay for more turns or risk waiting six months to finish a room. It’s just not worth it. I wish the game developers would actually read the reviews because I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. The next step is people not playing it all together because I know I’m losing interest and getting more and more frustrated with it. The game and objectives are pretty cool but it’s hitting a point where that just isn’t enough. And I’m not entirely sure that the hints actually help with beating a level. I am stuck and I’m probably going to stay that way, I could see it taking three or four tries but this is absolutely absurd. And most of the design options require at least two successful rounds, and I’m now in the levels that are taking three or four rounds to pay for upgrades, so the return is almost insulting.
Generally good, but wish there were daily bonuses
by siempredescalzo on 2019/07/17 13:59
I generally really enjoy this game as I like the design element and especially that once you buy a repair, you can toggle between the other colors/variations without it costing additional coins like it does in some other games. The MAJOR thing this game is missing though is the ability to earn diamonds or power ups without spending money. I would gladly watch ads (when I choose) to get power ups or a daily bonus or something. I feel like this is such a standard for this genre of game that it really sticks out that this game does not have any option for that. Even if room completions/weekend bonus round completions came with diamonds included in the reward it would help matters. If they added this, it would be the perfect game and it would honestly make me even MORE likely to spend real money on the game as I’d get used to being able to extend for a couple of turns.

Too many ads!
by Fairyzombie on 2019/12/09 12:42
Was fun but now way too many ads for other apps!
Crashing

I really enjoy this app but ever since the most recent updates, I’ve been unable to get past the Home screen before the app crashes. Please fix this!
Home Design
by twish69 on 2019/12/09 03:33
I love the decorating aspect of this game.

PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DOWNLOAD THIS GAME LOOK AT THIS
by V-Review on 2019/11/30 20:51
This game is so fun but a lot of review S say this game is not fun it is you just need lots of patients and I love all the styles and there is definitely a reasonable amount of adds compared to other games.GET THIS GAME!!!
CRASHING
by Mz Dork on 2019/11/30 01:12
With this new update the game won’t open without crashing
I hate this.
by L@mujerm@r@villa on 2019/11/29 18:21
This so bad I hate match things game it is not fun if you get out the level you at they take you money or stars.sometime for me it is boring and sometimes it be little fun but not lot.

Love it!!!
by N8Drummer on 2019/11/29 02:12
Great game!!!

Glitching

by Bsiszysgaiauxg on 2019/11/26 11:06
the matching games is stupid because it gets hard after a certain level so whenever i want to design, i can’t because i don’t have enough coins and can’t beat the level.
Love it!!
by risha1884 on 2019/11/26 05:17

Addicting

If only....
by Robin Dunda on 2019/11/26 03:32
As you play to higher levels everything “costs” a lot more!
Very fun game.
by Pecan pie417 on 2019/11/26 03:22
The puzzle board is as fun as the designing
More money
by Jcaplove on 2019/11/26 03:21
The game is really good but as the levels get harder, the money should increase as well.

Very addictive. Love it
Really Fun
by SKO55 on 2019/11/26 03:15
Really fun app for people like me who like home design. But it’s a little frustrating that you have to work so hard to pass levels and there’s never any bonuses or any rewards or helpers like in other games.

Pass the time
by LCRTBH on 2019/11/26 03:00
I enjoy designing the rooms, little annoying at times with the levels.
Why do I have to buy DIAMONDS
by Buttermilkq on 2019/11/26 02:51
I love to play this game but you make it so we have to purchase Diamonds and that’s not fair. Will you please do something to fix this issue. I can’t speak for everyone else I’m only speaking for myself THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Fun game
by LRami511 on 2019/11/26 02:34
I really enjoy playing the game.

Too much
by outofchances on 2019/11/26 02:15
The items are starting to cost too much in money and tickets.

Love playing the game and wish I could spend more time playing but the way the puzzles work I can’t really move forward as fast as I would like to
Glad I’m not the only one
by Mbennett2017 on 2018/07/31 13:36
I thought maybe I was the only one who felt this way until reading the rest of the reviews.

Needs changes
by Auniquenickname69 on 2018/08/31 18:38
I spend a lot of my spare time playing this game and I love the feeling I get when I finally beat a difficult level that’s been bothering me for days, but the problem is that with every level, you hardly gain enough coins to enjoy the sole reason why most players downloaded the game!
