Evilibrium: Soul Hunters RPG
Description
Inspired by the art style and atmosphere of the Darkest Dungeon and the books of H. P. Lovecraft comes the first adventure in the Evilibrium Universe. The game invites you to an alternate reality at the end of the 19th century, full of adventure, mystics, horrific creatures, dark rituals, and secret cults. In this world, souls are real and sufficient material to be extracted and used as a source of energy. Souls are therefore a hard-to-get and expensive merchandise that many desire. Strange hostile creatures from parallel worlds lurk in murky forests and deep dungeons. You play a member of the Brotherhood of Hunters, adventurous people who hunt these monsters and catch their souls. You will explore the dungeons of a large world, capture hundreds of souls and use them to create, upgrade, and evolve an army of your own, fight quick, furious battles, discover the mysteries of the Universe and try to stay alive. Evilibrium: Soul Hunters is a unique mix of a rogue-like dungeon crawler and a storytelling quest. The twisting plot is told through numerous quests where your actions matter. KEY FEATURES - Dozens of souls to catch and evolve + over 20 bosses to beat! - Short and dynamic fights. Plan your tactics to defeat the foes! - Exciting quests. Discover all mysteries. - Atmospheric sounds and music. - No annoying ads! - Download for free, play the trial and if you liked it, buy the full version. - Play offline! No internet connection required. If you have any technical issues or problems with your purchases, please contact us at magic@orcwork.com
Love it!

I’ve really been enjoying this game. Devs did great, in my opinion, employing the pay structure. You get to try a few levels out, see if you enjoy the game; then get the option to buy the full game! No micro Transactions! Awesome work! (Spoiler ahead?) I am also having trouble with the ghost house area. I can reach the boss with all three policemen. But still get slaughtered every time! Balance issue?
Awesome

Nice game play. Graphic style is exceptional. Comic book style cut scenes are very well done. Much attention to detail.
Happy to pay for a full game

Happy there is an option to buy this game outright. Nice game so far. Fun mechanics.
Don’t waste your money
by Bgodz22 on 2019/10/25 17:37
Paid full price for the game was fun for a few hours. Then the difficulty ramps up to the point that you can’t advance without spending hours upon days of grinding low level dungeons and even then it’s impossible. to level up a characters past 30 you need to evolve with artifacts but the artifacts cost 20k each and you might get a few hundred by doing a low level dungeon and doing higher level dungeons is pointless because your level 30s are getting smoked by lvl 25 npcs. Healing potions and rez potions rarely drop in high lvl areas. So unless you like beating your head against a wall for an endless amount of time. Save you money. Would be a good game if the devs spent some time balancing the difficulty a little more or offering alternate activities. Boring and frustrating AF...
Nice game

Super fun but impossible
by SaucySaucy on 2019/10/20 14:06
I loved the game up until the ghost house quest. Having a set team where all of them die before you reach the end is unfair and frankly super frustrating. Maybe I’m missing some way to get past it, but I’d really like to see that quest fixed so it’s not impossible to get past.
Needs a few minor tweaks
by Nathan Jewels on 2019/10/20 03:09
1)STORY- The story is a bit bland/unoriginal (though still better than twilight) 2)STORE- I wish I could sell evolving materials at the store and also exchange silver for aether points at a fixed exchange rate. 3)COMBAT- Let it be on a turn basis instead of having the power attack cooldown be based on time in seconds. this would also mean that the enemy no longer attacks at the same time as my units while also making the speed stat be a bit more useful because it would determine when they attack.

I’m giving this game a 3/5 because overall it’s okay, but there are a few major, major problems that make the game much less enjoyable in my opinion. The first is that the bartenders will give you quest that are too difficult to complete. Seeing as that the whole point of the bartenders giving you quest is to help you practice, and make your creatures stronger, I find it pretty ridiculous. The second is the exit points in the dungeons. If you haven’t found an exit point in a dungeon, and all your creatures are defeated, you have no other choice but to forfeit all the rewards you’ve found in the dungeon so far, and exit with nothing but wasted time. The third is that some items needed to evolve your creatures will only be available in dungeons above your skill level. Your creatures’ levels cap about every 10 or 20 levels, so if your creatures have reached their level cap and still aren’t strong enough to get the required materials, you’re pretty much stuck doing the quests the bartenders give you, which like I said before, are sometimes too difficult to complete. I’m happy that the developers allowed people to play a demo before buying the full version of the game. I also enjoy the evolution of creatures as they get stronger. It makes me want to keep playing to see what they’ll evolve into. Despite the things I enjoy about the game, the things I don’t like, make so much less enjoyable in my opinion.
A lot of fun, but buggy

I’ve enjoyed this game a lot. The art style and gameplay are fun and the story is intriguing. All the people complaining about paying for the full game are ridiculous. Paid games are generally much better than cramming a game with f2p micro-transactions but if I’m going to pay for a game I’d like to be able to demo it. What have you lost by playing the opening of a fun game then having the option to purchase the full thing? Nothing but some time you would have spent on another game. Anyway, the game is neat and I hope the devs roll out the in-game guide they mention in other replies because there’s no real descriptions of what ailments are or which card types are better against others. It’s a lot of guess work now. I’m also kind of annoyed with the ghost house where there seems to be no way to win. 2/3 of your team kills itself through the level then you have to face an OP boss with just one guy. Sometimes the dialogue says your “last companion” died when you have one guy left so I don’t know if it’s a bug or what but I can’t keep dumping 500 coins in to find out...some explanation there would be great. Keep working on cleaning it up and you’ll have yourself a great game!

Lots of potential!

Great game. I like the dark atmosphere and it has a darkest dungeon vibe, some Lovecrafty feels too. It does need more hero’s, challenges, and maybe PvP. But that can come down the line, I enjoy it already.
Great Game...But
by D3bonair3 on 2019/10/16 05:33
Amazing storyline and the dynamics of the game are fun. Catching souls when you have more than one can be challenging or frustrating. If the many misspelled words were fixed around the game it would make this game feel more polished. It’s cringe worthy sometimes... Autocorrect is a beautiful thing :)
Amazing game yet bugs
by TheWanderingGamer203 on 2019/10/12 10:17
First of all I would like to say this game is amazing. It’s a fun thriller with an amazing plot and many things in store. Thank you guys for making this wonderful game. The only thing is there are still bugs to be squished like the drag and drop feature has a kink in it.
Amazing

Nice little dungeon crawl. Only bad thing is that the lettering is very tiny on iPhone 7. Can barely read anything.
Very streamlined, good story
by Hellfirebam on 2019/10/10 20:37
A few suggestions I wanted to add. It would be nice to be able to select which character you heal/revive when you pick up a potion. I love the resource management aspect. Would also be nice to have an auto-equip items since the game recognizes anyways that your creature(s) have things to do.
Just finished the free trial...

Worth it
by baragon023 on 2019/10/10 12:35
Doesn’t push micro transactions down your throat. At least not yet and I couldn’t but the full version fast enough. Simple gameplay and interesting story. Haven’t had point where grinding gets monotonous. It’s a game for the players.
A pretty engaging RPG
by Braedon J. on 2019/10/09 11:18
I’ve been looking for a game that could keep me hooked for more than an hour and this game has it. I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit and will continue to do so. It’s simple mechanics but a good system that makes you want to figure out the best combination for your attacks. There is some spelling errors in the game but they are easily overlooked since they’re few and far between. If you want to buy the full version they give you three options for it all with the same content but the higher options give you more of an edge early game. Definitely consider it since this game is worth your time.
Great game!!!
by Saadath_The_Rogue on 2019/10/08 02:41
If you are a fan of the Darkest Dungeon you will love this game from the start. This game has a very similar art & fighting style, though simplified in comparison, make it very easy to pick up on. It’s early access so game play is a little limited with only the first chapter available to those willing to support the developers. It’s 2.99 for the full access but it’s got all the potential of being just as good if not better than Darkest Dungeon which is $20. I love the game; developers keep doing you. I enjoy the Frankenstein spin your going with a true horror story fan will appreciate the throw back but no spoilers for anyone out there. All I ask from the community is don’t knock it before you try it. If your satisfied with the game support the developers so they can continue to make games that we can all love.
Decent

Pretty solid game could use some quality of life changes and a guide but overall good
buggy grind
by Rpmars on 2019/10/06 17:21
While the game has potential they have some bugs that freeze the game and make any progress in a dungeon lost. While there is a fun game they lock it behind grinding to improve monsters making it more about taking your time then enjoying the game.

Fun game. I enjoyed playing it until I got Frankenstein’s journal. Then I was told that if finished the trial and had to pay to continue. You really need to say this in your description beforehand. I was so disappointed at how I felt duped that I insta deleted the game.
Good game with minor issues
by Oopoooop on 2019/10/06 00:08
TLDR: Either a great example of how to pursue ads as an indie game while offering enjoyable content, or a great example of developer’s being deceptive with information while also offering enjoyable content. Either or. Bugs: There seems to be a strange issue where you are sometimes booted out of a dungeon for seemingly no reason. I think it might have something to do with swiping, but it makes doing larger dungeons sort of treacherous on smaller playing screens. Gameplay: 8 Cards are creatures, that’s where the card game portion of it ends. Movement through the dungeons consists of clicking on glass squares to see what’s underneath, sometimes it’s bad guys. There is enough difference in the creatures and enough upgrade options to not feel extremely grinding, but the repetitiveness is there. Sound: 6 Speaking of repetitiveness. The sounds that were initially pleasing become a little grating when you have to hear the same ones over and over again. In all honesty, this is not very important. When you can play Spotify over almost anything, soundtracks become mostly redundant. Visuals: 5 If you like similar game visuals, you will like this. If you don’t, then there are no surprises here. If you’re indifferent, then I guess it doesn’t matter. Story: 5 I’m including the unnecessarily long, hand-holding introduction quests at the beginning. There is no option to skip conversations, which tend to be on the long side (considering the platform) and feel slightly uninspired. “Go kill this.” “Go fetch this.” “Go read this.” Typical “rats in the cellar” stuff. Ads: 6 or 10 Maybe I passed up an explanation on this, but the only thing that is keeping me from purchasing this game is the fact that it’s presenting a single Chapter for sale and it does not entirely explain what that means. If it’s a onetime purchase for all content, 10/10! Doesn’t push ads in your face, asks nicely if you would like to purchase it, plenty of content if you don’t, but you should. If it only gives you Chapter 1, then 6/10. Purchasing does still seem to be optional, but the practice of selling in chapters and doing it in a slightly deceptive way (whether intentional or not) drops it down to a 6, and even then I feel like I missed something. I will recheck the app and update if an explanation presents itself.

Should make it a pay to play game right off the bat so I don’t play it for a couple hours then I’m told that I am forced to pay to play any further
Cool game so far
by ShakaZulu510 on 2019/10/05 19:07
Have only played about an hour or two but I can see myself grinding this game. I have yet to unlock the full game but seeing as it’s not too much at all I definitely will purchase the base version in due time. I love the fact that there’s so many genres in one and even though the combat is simple and streamlined it still feels like fun gameplay. Liking the game so far and hoping for some new monsters and updates. Great artwork, love that the cutscenes are like comic pages which makes it easy to understand, read and even skip. Tutorial was nice, simple and informative. Great example of how mobile games should be made. Keep it up!

Superb atmosphere and a charmingly dark art style set the backdrop for this unique mashup of a game. The mechanics are familiar but combine several different genres to create something fresh and fun to explore. I can absolutely see myself sinking a ton of time into this title. I’m genuinely excited to see where the devs take the story and expand the game.
Disgusing dev response - do not support this
by Rich Silfver on 2019/10/05 16:33
I came here to actually write a positive review when I saw the company reply to a customer who mentioned that one had to purchase the full game once one is a bit into it. The Dev took it upon himself to ridicule the reviewer "sorry you don't have any money" and even have the audacity to comment "how did you afford your iPhone?" An absolutely disgusing attitude shown by the dev and id urge everyone to not support this dev and any of the games offered. Also, the reviewer had a point - it is not mentioned that the game is free up until a point where you need to pay for it. A truly despicable reply by a dev that should be shown no respect or support.
Neato!
by Luckybug76 on 2019/10/04 22:37
There’s a TON of awesome potential here. The art style is amazing. The combat is interesting. But by god there are a lot of bugs. Healing doesn’t seem to work at all in a battle. Would also like to see some QOL updates, like being able to check my monsters stats while exploring. Keep up the good work, Devs!

This game is magnificent but you only get a little bit in and are forced to purchase the full game. This should not be allowed either make it all free or pay up front. Vary vary disappointed another game I'll never be able to play because I don't have the money.
Very Good Game
by SkillzOverdoze on 2019/04/06 18:40
I Enjoy this game the story keeps you very interested. The Cards are good with abilities so you need setup your time to right way to survive certain combat. My Only issue and its very minor but would help a lot for survival is the Health Potions and the Revive Potions I find in the dungeons. I cant pick up the potions and heal a specific Monster Card that its low. It Randomly Heals for me. So does the revive potion. Other than that this game is really good.
Very fun game, but...
by American Nerd on 2019/03/18 18:49
Lacks a “Help” or glossary of terms. A more detailed tutorial would have been nice. This wishing is all moot, since it appears to have been abandoned. Still, thanks to the devs for a good time as long as it lasts. I recommend giving it a try!
Great game... needs more content
by Darth Tigger on 2019/02/26 06:33
This is a great game, all around. Interesting art, strong core game loop, beginning of a compelling story. I want to emphasize “beginning”. While the game is fun, it runs out of story/things to do pretty quick. I started playing a year ago when the game first came out and finished it in a couple of weeks. I was hungry for more, and the devs promised more in several places in the game. But there’s never been a major story update since the original release. It’s with a heavy heart I’m now deleting the game. I’ve played it through twice, but replay just isn’t that appealing- it’s not that kind of game. And that icon on my desktop is a daily reminder of what I’m not getting. To new players: it’s a fun game, totally worth it. Just don’t hold out hope for more. What’s there is all there’s going to be, it seems. To the devs: I understand the limits of a small Indy team. For whatever it’s worth, if you do decide to do a content update I guarantee I’ll buy it. In fact, I think your game is strong enough to justify f2p mechanics, if you ever decided to add them to create a more steady revenue stream. Until then, I need to say goodbye. But if you do update, I promise I’ll be back!
Needs a bit more polish
by DCTRDRP on 2018/12/30 20:05
The atmosphere and theme make for a great dungeon crawler. I really would have preferred the ability to slowdown the gameplay to turn base but the game has the charm of Darkest Dungeon so I will keep on with it. Some of the artwork is a bit low quality when using on newer devices however, like on my iPhone 7 Plus. Pixelated? Edit: I’ve reinstalled the game to give it another shot and I’m not exactly sure what’s different but it does feel a bit more cohesive in terms of progression and direction at the beginning of the game so I will continue to play. A graphical update would still be nice as any pixelation in a game today is a mark of poor planning.
Ok I bit... I hope this is good
by thespaciousmind on 2018/12/29 19:27
Looking for a Darkest Dungeon type game and stumbled onto this. Looks cool. I’ll will be back to update my review/rating but for now, based on dev feedback consistency, current reviews and how this game looks, I will definitely give this a shot and 4 stars (room for growth). My only question; when is that next big update coming and is this optimized for iPhone X, Xs, Xr ?
A few things
by FrayFergFumm on 2018/11/22 22:23
Great game. However there are a few problems. 1. First of all, questing - there are no indicators as to which cities are offering quests. It is a grueling process to try and go through each one to see where the quests are. 2. Frame rate. The movement of monsters is made strange by legs flying all over the screen. If a developer attaches an email address I will send screenshots of this happening. 3. Catch button. The tap box does not press on a large portion of the button. This means that when the button is tapped anywhere from the right side of the button to capture a monster, the app does not register the tap. I have to press the far left point of the button to get it to work. The rough translation isn’t too bad, but it could be improved.
So far, so good.

way too much tutorial
by gg_grayson on 2018/10/17 02:20
feels like i'm not in control of my actions throughout the intro. i can only tap one thing on the screen at a time on the main screen. then it's a bunch of 'this is how you do x. move on to the next screen. this is how you do y'. if im heavily guided to all the actions in the beginning i'm not going to find it on my own without just looking around, which i would have done anyway without this heavy tutorial.
Fun game

Fun gather pets/exploration game. Seems like a F2P but with no micro transactions. There is quite a bit of grinding to level your motley crew, but I haven't been too bored because the game can be challenging if you drop your guard.
Love the game
by He who shall not be named asdf on 2018/10/03 11:00
I like the difficulty and the level of grind. It is slightly to short though. I just finished “chapter 1” and I’m not sure if there is additional content as there are still locations to explore. Is there and expansion planned?

Great game!
by Xeipher_7 on 2018/08/08 15:09
Not what I expected going in - but every surprise was a pleasant one. The story has a gritty comic book feel to it. The protagonist feels like a small part of a larger universe, the world and plot doesn’t revolve around him which adds to the immersion. Gameplay wise it’s not a traditional card game. You choose your best cards to take on dungeons, grinding levels and evolving them into more powerful creatures. Combat resembles traditional turn based RPGs with auto attacks and manually triggered super attacks. The game is somewhat challenging, exploration outside of the main story is sometimes necessary. I keep coming back searching for stronger cards in unexplored dungeons - give this one a shot, it’s well worth it!

Fairly simplistic combat, akin to a FTP gacha in some ways. Fortunately, there aren’t any FtP mechanics that I’ve seen yet, aside from feeling a bit grindy. Translation is poor but serviceable; lots of poorly spelled or misused words. Bad enough that the story might as well be ignored. More thought would go into team composition than combat, since attacks are automatic and abilities on a flat cooldown. Bosses follow the very basic system of hitting like a ton of bricks; there is zero counterplay once in a battle, aside from saving heal CDs until after attacks land and hoping it wasn’t a fatal crit. Unfortunately for team composition, options are incredibly limited early on. Edit: game includes a story fight that cannot be won and forces you to use a fixed deck. Balance is so bad and variance from crits it so high that it makes you stuck in a loop fighting the same unwinnable fight over and over.

Great game on mobile
by Mistermonky on 2018/02/02 19:50
This game is a pretty unique mashup of different styles. The exploration is tile based like Dungelot. The battle system is an ATB auto attack with player-activated spells thrown in. And the card collecting and evolving is based on fragments and evo mats that are collected by defeating monsters and finding chests. In some cases too many genres in one can be a bad thing but this game balances them nicely. The difficulty is also pretty well balanced at least up until the point I have gotten to (my whole team is around level 30). I love it so far and highly recommend it. Help support small dev teams!

So I’m doing this to support the dev, this game is fun and I want to see more updates and fixes come along and that won’t happen unless people buy the game, lol. First this game is like the spawn of dungelot and darkest dungeons. It is hard, in some places a little too hard. The game moves along at a steady pace with an interesting story involving monster hunters and Dr. Frankenstein’s diary. There’s plenty of little side missions to do and lots of different levels to explore. You catch monster souls and once you have enough you can summon it and add it to your roster but it doesn’t take that long. One thing about this that I like most games never offer is the chance to wait a little longer before summoning a new monster and catch a few extra souls and you can bypass the common, uncommon versions of summon it straight as a RAre. You collect artifacts to equip on them and once they are max level and they have all, I think 6 artifacts equip they can be evolved to the next rank. The game has a dark seriousness about it so there’s no cutesy, cartoony childishness about it. For the price it’s worth it. Don’t let anyone deter you from this purchase. The combat is semi auto. Sure that sounds like a drag but you use the skills manually and combat is so fast you’ll be glad regular attacks are automatic lol. It can be challenging enough to strategically use each monsters skills at just the right time. There’s no iap no timers no energy bar. There is a secondary currency which you can use to revive in a dungeon if all your monsters die or if you’re really desperate you can buy rare, epic, and legendary monster packs but it’s not needed, and again no iap. That secondary currency has to be found and can’t be bought. I don’t work for or know the dev I’m an honest mobile gamer and hoping by now you’ve hit the buy button.

Not bad, needs a lot of work
by Cyzyk on 2018/02/13 16:26
Fairly simplistic combat, akin to a FTP gacha in some ways.
Keep it up!
Love it!
by Annexus1 on 2019/11/07 13:24
I’ve really been enjoying this game.
Great game!
by Xeipher_7 on 2018/08/08 15:09
Not what I expected going in - but every surprise was a pleasant one.
Ok I bit... I hope this is good

Neato!
by Luckybug76 on 2019/10/04 22:37
There’s a TON of awesome potential here. The art style is amazing. The combat is interesting. But by god there are a lot of bugs. Healing doesn’t seem to work at all in a battle. Would also like to see some QOL updates, like being able to check my monsters stats while exploring. Keep up the good work, Devs!
Brilliant Dungeon Crawler
by SignyGoat on 2019/10/05 17:46
Superb atmosphere and a charmingly dark art style set the backdrop for this unique mashup of a game. The mechanics are familiar but combine several different genres to create something fresh and fun to explore. I can absolutely see myself sinking a ton of time into this title. I’m genuinely excited to see where the devs take the story and expand the game.
Amazing game yet bugs

First of all I would like to say this game is amazing. It’s a fun thriller with an amazing plot and many things in store. Thank you guys for making this wonderful game. The only thing is there are still bugs to be squished like the drag and drop feature has a kink in it.
Worth it
by baragon023 on 2019/10/10 12:35
Doesn’t push micro transactions down your throat. At least not yet and I couldn’t but the full version fast enough. Simple gameplay and interesting story. Haven’t had point where grinding gets monotonous. It’s a game for the players.
Few bugs
by KamiKazeFailure on 2018/01/29 14:52

by American Nerd on 2019/03/18 18:49
Lacks a “Help” or glossary of terms. A more detailed tutorial would have been nice. This wishing is all moot, since it appears to have been abandoned. Still, thanks to the devs for a good time as long as it lasts. I recommend giving it a try!
Love the game

I like the difficulty and the level of grind. It is slightly to short though. I just finished “chapter 1” and I’m not sure if there is additional content as there are still locations to explore. Is there and expansion planned?

Updated review: great developer response! In my original review, I gave 4 stars due to lack of iPhone X optimization. Sent them a screenshot and in less than a week they had it fixed. A perfect blend of CCG and roguelike. Fun to play and lots to do!
Lots of potential!

A truly despicable reply by a dev that should be shown no respect or support.

by Sironne on 2018/10/05 00:21
Fun gather pets/exploration game. Seems like a F2P but with no micro transactions. There is quite a bit of grinding to level your motley crew, but I haven't been too bored because the game can be challenging if you drop your guard.
Kind of glitchy
by Kymare on 2019/10/11 16:38

buggy grind
by Rpmars on 2019/10/06 17:21
While the game has potential they have some bugs that freeze the game and make any progress in a dungeon lost. While there is a fun game they lock it behind grinding to improve monsters making it more about taking your time then enjoying the game.
Great then...
by Alonzilla on 2019/10/04 10:34

way too much tutorial
by gg_grayson on 2018/10/17 02:20
feels like i'm not in control of my actions throughout the intro. i can only tap one thing on the screen at a time on the main screen. then it's a bunch of 'this is how you do x. move on to the next screen. this is how you do y'. if im heavily guided to all the actions in the beginning i'm not going to find it on my own without just looking around, which i would have done anyway without this heavy tutorial.

Just finished the free trial...

A lot of fun, but buggy
by CraftyRooster on 2019/10/18 12:23
I’ve enjoyed this game a lot.

Worth it

Doesn’t push micro transactions down your throat. At least not yet and I couldn’t but the full version fast enough. Simple gameplay and interesting story. Haven’t had point where grinding gets monotonous. It’s a game for the players.
A pretty engaging RPG

I’ve been looking for a game that could keep me hooked for more than an hour and this game has it. I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit and will continue to do so. It’s simple mechanics but a good system that makes you want to figure out the best combination for your attacks. There is some spelling errors in the game but they are easily overlooked since they’re few and far between. If you want to buy the full version they give you three options for it all with the same content but the higher options give you more of an edge early game. Definitely consider it since this game is worth your time.
Great game!!!

Lacks a “Help” or glossary of terms. A more detailed tutorial would have been nice. This wishing is all moot, since it appears to have been abandoned. Still, thanks to the devs for a good time as long as it lasts. I recommend giving it a try!

So far, so good.

by gg_grayson on 2018/10/17 02:20
feels like i'm not in control of my actions throughout the intro. i can only tap one thing on the screen at a time on the main screen. then it's a bunch of 'this is how you do x. move on to the next screen. this is how you do y'. if im heavily guided to all the actions in the beginning i'm not going to find it on my own without just looking around, which i would have done anyway without this heavy tutorial.

Few bugs
by KamiKazeFailure on 2018/01/29 14:52

by CraftyRooster on 2019/10/18 12:23
I’ve enjoyed this game a lot.

Despite the things I enjoy about the game, the things I don’t like, make so much less enjoyable in my opinion.

by Nathan Jewels on 2019/10/20 03:09
1)STORY- The story is a bit bland/unoriginal (though still better than twilight) 2)STORE- I wish I could sell evolving materials at the store and also exchange silver for aether points at a fixed exchange rate. 3)COMBAT- Let it be on a turn basis instead of having the power attack cooldown be based on time in seconds. this would also mean that the enemy no longer attacks at the same time as my units while also making the speed stat be a bit more useful because it would determine when they attack.

My Only issue and its very minor but would help a lot for survival is the Health Potions and the Revive Potions I find in the dungeons. I cant pick up the potions and heal a specific Monster Card that its low. It Randomly Heals for me. So does the revive potion. Other than that this game is really good.

Great game!
by Xeipher_7 on 2018/08/08 15:09
Not what I expected going in - but every surprise was a pleasant one.
Ok I bit... I hope this is good

Neato!
by Luckybug76 on 2019/10/04 22:37
There’s a TON of awesome potential here. The art style is amazing. The combat is interesting. But by god there are a lot of bugs. Healing doesn’t seem to work at all in a battle. Would also like to see some QOL updates, like being able to check my monsters stats while exploring. Keep up the good work, Devs!
Amazing game yet bugs
by TheWanderingGamer203 on 2019/10/12 10:17
First of all I would like to say this game is amazing. It’s a fun thriller with an amazing plot and many things in store. Thank you guys for making this wonderful game. The only thing is there are still bugs to be squished like the drag and drop feature has a kink in it.
Worth it
by baragon023 on 2019/10/10 12:35
Doesn’t push micro transactions down your throat. At least not yet and I couldn’t but the full version fast enough. Simple gameplay and interesting story. Haven’t had point where grinding gets monotonous. It’s a game for the players.
Few bugs
by KamiKazeFailure on 2018/01/29 14:52
Just need a little bit more polishing, it kinda bugs out after every battle and how does one get the rune of evil because I ran through all three recommended dungeons and still they don’t give me the item?
Glitches
by Cynliu on 2019/10/18 06:00
I’m a new player When I click deck, the tutorial show me how to upgrade my wolf cub card. But the game freeze every time when I try to drag the wolf card to upgrade Please fix it Ty
Love the game
by He who shall not be named asdf on 2018/10/03 11:00
I like the difficulty and the level of grind. It is slightly to short though. I just finished “chapter 1” and I’m not sure if there is additional content as there are still locations to explore. Is there and expansion planned?
Fun cross-genre game
by KTNewEra on 2018/02/01 17:49
Updated review: great developer response! In my original review, I gave 4 stars due to lack of iPhone X optimization. Sent them a screenshot and in less than a week they had it fixed. A perfect blend of CCG and roguelike. Fun to play and lots to do!
Lots of potential!
by Wulrik on 2019/10/16 19:07
Great game. I like the dark atmosphere and it has a darkest dungeon vibe, some Lovecrafty feels too. It does need more hero’s, challenges, and maybe PvP. But that can come down the line, I enjoy it already.
Fun game
by Sironne on 2018/10/05 00:21
Fun gather pets/exploration game. Seems like a F2P but with no micro transactions. There is quite a bit of grinding to level your motley crew, but I haven't been too bored because the game can be challenging if you drop your guard.
Kind of glitchy
by Kymare on 2019/10/11 16:38
So far I am really enjoying this game, I love the art style and the exploring is pretty unique. I just wish it wouldn’t freeze sometimes.
buggy grind
by Rpmars on 2019/10/06 17:21
While the game has potential they have some bugs that freeze the game and make any progress in a dungeon lost. While there is a fun game they lock it behind grinding to improve monsters making it more about taking your time then enjoying the game.
Great then...
by Alonzilla on 2019/10/04 10:34
This game is magnificent but you only get a little bit in and are forced to purchase the full game. This should not be allowed either make it all free or pay up front. Vary vary disappointed another game I'll never be able to play because I don't have the money.
Hidden secret
by Creadus69 on 2019/10/06 01:04
Fun game. I enjoyed playing it until I got Frankenstein’s journal. Then I was told that if finished the trial and had to pay to continue. You really need to say this in your description beforehand. I was so disappointed at how I felt duped that I insta deleted the game.
Decent
by Athelos83 on 2019/10/07 18:06
Pretty solid game could use some quality of life changes and a guide but overall good
Super fun but impossible
by SaucySaucy on 2019/10/20 14:06
I loved the game up until the ghost house quest. Having a set team where all of them die before you reach the end is unfair and frankly super frustrating. Maybe I’m missing some way to get past it, but I’d really like to see that quest fixed so it’s not impossible to get past.
way too much tutorial
by gg_grayson on 2018/10/17 02:20
feels like i'm not in control of my actions throughout the intro. i can only tap one thing on the screen at a time on the main screen. then it's a bunch of 'this is how you do x. move on to the next screen. this is how you do y'. if im heavily guided to all the actions in the beginning i'm not going to find it on my own without just looking around, which i would have done anyway without this heavy tutorial.
Fun

Nice little dungeon crawl. Only bad thing is that the lettering is very tiny on iPhone 7. Can barely read anything.
Labor of love
by Rwby on 2018/04/21 15:21
This game is very clearly a labor of love by the developers. It’s not perfect, it could use an in game wiki or help page, but it’s a really fun card collecting rpg. Pick it up and give it a try!
Nice game

Happy to pay for a full game

Happy there is an option to buy this game outright. Nice game so far. Fun mechanics.

Just finished the free trial...

Should make it a pay to play game right off the bat so I don’t play it for a couple hours then I’m told that I am forced to pay to play any further
