This application is amazing I use it every day and every time I try to make a new video on my channel. It helped my channel grow a lot in allowed me to get high-quality content on here. So far I’ve had no problems with the app. This is an amazing app to install if you’re making a YouTube channel that’s based on mobile games, I don’t want to spend money on high-quality WebCams and recording systems. Best app I’ve ever installed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is a ok app I have a yt and I need to screen record but when I have a lot of videos I can’t add more

I just wanted to chime in and say I think that you people do amazing work. I used my first TechSmith product maybe 10 years ago, I don’t know whatever it was then, CamTasia, years ago, and Jing, I think, and still have both, Jing on a (10-12yr old recalled Hp)computer that I’m sure has not been updated in five years, and it works like a top, I mean it is, and does everything it’s supposed to do. It just works. I’ve just recently gotten Capture, simple, easy, and also exactly as described. I even think it improves my iPhone 8 camera, which for me is like “Stranger Things “ freakishly beautiful, then, With Fuse, and again I’m impressed, they’re not high tech out of this world you can’t figure them out kind of apps, you use them exactly like they were supposed to be used and they work great!! Consistently!! I haven’t found a bug one like I’ve read in some of the reviews. I’ve only ever had one issue and that was way back, I found if I was segmenting s video together in Cam.. if I used a Jing vid that was too short or too long. I would have to reformat other segments to whatever format the Jing was or something to that effect. I think I was doing trainers with Vimeo segments I bought like on Fiverr. And sometimes. CamTasia was slow to render, but that was loading it down, and I think that was only after I connected it to Power point. I wish I could show what was possible. Today those videos would make creators go get jobs. But I got a ton of compliments. I feel they’re very solid products. And recommend them still. I see most negative reviews as people upset that apps don’t have what they hoped. I’ve found most app’s especially creatives, you get what you pay for, but rarely at a TechSmith sized value.BTW : I don’t game at all, so I have no frame of reference to offer there . I do know it’s more/ different/ bigger strain on most apps. can’t wait to get started with audio. ( grateful slow learner ) Thanks a ton, keep em’ coming

It’s user-friendly! It even can record sound with the video as an option! The videos even can be shared then saved to device! It is that easy! Thank you! I can get on with my editing and creative work without the hassles of ads or having to make in-app purchases! This does what (as far as I know) iPhone /iPad / iTunes doesn’t provide as part of the Apple product! This app is a timesaver and stress-free!

It won’t let me upload my video to YouTube, but I did like the quality and the sound it’s decent

I’d been using this app daily to record my screen. Today it stopped working. It looks like an untested update was pushed out during a critical time of year for my businesses. First, the recordings kept stopping claiming that I was ‘resizing my screen’. Then after rebooting my iPad Pro that error message stopped, I recorded the video. It saved to the Capture library, but now I can’t save (export) it elsewhere. Attempt to save the video from Capture to my iPad or Google Drive result in a success message, but the file never shows up there. Also, the save (export) option to Video, which I used to use each day is now gone.

Delighted to have this for my iOS devices such my iPhone. Any chance of a Linux version? Keep up the great work! Your software development continues to innovate and improve. Thanks

Add this to a long list of video capture apps that 100% do not work. It stops recording the place room, and doesn’t say what it’s recorded so far. This is the third tried that is giving me this problem, I do not understand why people give such positive reviews to such negative apps

Great mobile tool to use with your Camtasia account. Works exactly as stated and now I create video content on my ipad and iPhone and edit it on my windows desktop laptop in Camtasia

Works great and is very straightforward to use. Except for the time that is completely failed to record my video, but acted as though everything was working. These experiences erode trust since I have no time to worry about possibly having to repeat my video.

When I start the recording, i turn off my mic so I can record some things but it doesn’t take sound. I mean it’s not recording the sound it’s just record the screen. Please fix it as soon as possible🙏🏻

Before I start, I just want to say that this is an amazing app. It’s free, it has no in-app purchases, it lets you record for a long period of time without stopping, and it works very well. Despite this, it has it’s flaws. I’m not here to praise the app, I’m here to tell the developers what’s wrong so they can try and fix it. 1: The recording kinda lags when you’re opening up an app. I’ve had this one a few times during my test run. 2: There is no in-game audio. The only way to do this is to turn on your device sound, take off any headphones that are connected to the device, and turn on the microphone in the app. I would very much appreciate it if you guys fixed this problem, as the game sounds that happen when using the microphone aren’t really all that good. Yeah, those are about it for me. I don’t really mind the first problem, but the second one is a huge issue to me and I believe that this should be fixed. Also, I’ve seen other people have similar, audio-related issues, so the developers should definitely work on fixing the audio in this app. Overall, it’s a great app, but it definitely needs some more work on the audio recording.

I just wanted to share a very short clip from a video that didn’t have a share feature- it was an mp4. This app solved the problem quickly and easily! If I find a reason to use it in the future one more time, I will definitely donate to the cause, it’s worth it!

I will give this app five stars. Usually a long time ago when I used other screen recording apps when I turn the microphone on I never ever hear my noise I always get confused. I also wanted to hear the noise of the sound coming out of my iPad but it never record the sound!!! I was kept thinking one is right and then when I saw this app I was thinking will this app work and.... It literally worked! I suggest if you make a place that you can edit I will like it even better! This app is magnificent!

I had a task of recording an iOS for a product demo. This app made capturing and editing video footage of my app a breeze. Was able to get the job done a couple minutes. Just captured it and shared to Snagit for editing.

I’m 36 years old and have NEVER left a review on an app, or amazon purchase, or ANYTHING. But THIS damned “app” is a full out SCAM. I was taken to an unsecure site, and couldn’t get your, so I had to restart my phone, etc. I’m reporting this app. I’m personally afraid that they might’ve hacked some of my personal info.... DO NOT USE!

When I am trying to send it to my laptop to edit it does not let it go through even when it’s time limit is 20 mins I always stop at 18 min and that still will not go through

There’s no sound with my screen recording using the iPhone Capture apo. Tried looking it up and found no solutions, only others with the same complaint. And yes, I even have a paid subscription to both Camtasia and SnagIt. I don’t have time for this garbage. Make a product that works.

I got this app to record Zoom calls on my iPhone but as soon as I open the Zoom app I lose audio. What’s going on?

So my friend has a thing called down time so she can’t do ANYTHING on her phone. So she asked me to screen record a vid and send it to her and I was like sure. So when I was done, I tried to send it to her and it just wouldn’t send so if anyone could tell me why or how I can send it that would be great. Overall a good app tho😕😁

I need to record and then transfer to the Windows version of Camtasia. After a few start/stops/restarts on the recording to get what I wanted right, I noticed that the audio was out-of-sync. Did it again. Same problem. Shut down and restart fixed it for a couple of runs but then it started up again. I checked and it was a problem in the original capture. Now capture and save the broadcast directly to Photos without using Capture. When I open the video in Photos I share it to Capture so I can then transfer it to Camtasia for editing. Works fine that way. Running this on a 2018 iPad Pro 11” 256 GB.

I just downloaded this app “Capture” and try to screen record my lecture for calculus 2. It pops up some notification I didn’t have to time to look at at 20 minute, and stop recording after that, which I didn’t know. One bigger problem is that there is a delay in its voice recording, and my voice is 5 second behind the writing recorded. I have to spend half an hour re-recording everything. disappointed.

It does work, but whenever I record long videos, they don’t come up on the app! It only lets me do short videos like 1 min or 30 seconds. Please fix this.

This app is excellent for YouTube videos. Just one thing... When I record with my voice, the sound lags. Is there a way to fix that?

why do i need to create an account?

I’ve been a fan of SNAGIT as a purchased program on numerous Windows PC’s for years to quickly and easily grab single image screen shots. And also used the image editing function, which is certainly not Photoshop but more than sufficient for my needs. And that’s all I wanted for my new iPad Air; a SNAGIT version as efficient as it’s PC cousin, but all I found in the App Store was this CAPTURE program - clunky, very little in the way of controls and hard to comprehend. Frankly it didn’t feel like a Techsmith product at all. After several failed attempts to achieve anything in the way of a screen capture I gave up and deleted the app. Possibly Techsmith isn’t interested in the Apple environment which is a shame considering how valuable it’s been for me in Windows.

I like this app because it lets you screen record but it will be so much better if you could edit the videos and instead of creating a new album for each one they should make it where you could post it on YouTube and stuff please add editing but the app is kind of useful as is

I used to use this app and now when I record and I finish my video it doesn’t show up. I need this fixed.

I can quick record my screen and send it to me desktop app? Amazing!

I just downloaded this app “Capture” and try to screen record my lecture for calculus 2. It pops up some notification I didn’t have to time to look at at 20 minute, and stop recording after that, which I didn’t know. One bigger problem is that there is a delay in its voice recording, and my voice is 5 second behind the writing recorded. I have to spend half an hour re-recording everything. disappointed.

Why can't I install it on iOS 10? Please give us the ability to downgrade for devices that are stuck on lower operating systems, like every other developer does.

It does work, but whenever I record long videos, they don’t come up on the app! It only lets me do short videos like 1 min or 30 seconds. Please fix this.

This app is excellent for YouTube videos. Just one thing... When I record with my voice, the sound lags. Is there a way to fix that?

why do i need to create an account?

I’ve been a fan of SNAGIT as a purchased program on numerous Windows PC’s for years to quickly and easily grab single image screen shots. And also used the image editing function, which is certainly not Photoshop but more than sufficient for my needs. And that’s all I wanted for my new iPad Air; a SNAGIT version as efficient as it’s PC cousin, but all I found in the App Store was this CAPTURE program - clunky, very little in the way of controls and hard to comprehend. Frankly it didn’t feel like a Techsmith product at all. After several failed attempts to achieve anything in the way of a screen capture I gave up and deleted the app. Possibly Techsmith isn’t interested in the Apple environment which is a shame considering how valuable it’s been for me in Windows.

I like this app because it lets you screen record but it will be so much better if you could edit the videos and instead of creating a new album for each one they should make it where you could post it on YouTube and stuff please add editing but the app is kind of useful as is

Love this thing it works well I mean glitches sometimes but it’s free so it rocks!
