My F150 app was way faster. It took less than 30 seconds for any command to be sent and for the truck to respond. This app takes forever and is a waste of time to even use.

This app works great for starting and locating my 2017 renegade but the preview shows pictures of vehicle info. I’ve had this app and pay for the subscription service after my 1 year trail version and I’ve never had the info screen. Kind of disappointed.

This is really weird I’m on an iPhone X running iOS 12 and I get an error and I can’t use the app anymore I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling. I can’t even log in the app .

App is awful as it relates via mobile, no instructions on how to link accounts, no ability to link accounts thru app as radio in truck says to do. Help section on via mobile only tells you how to pair phone, not how to link to Pandora account. Send and Ho operation is convoluted, way to many clicks, just make it simple, find place on map and ask if I want to send it to my Nav system instead of clicking on location, hitting send on map then having to hit send in menu.

Since yesterday the App keeps trying to sign in with a “connectivity issue” pop up. It keeps doing this over and over again. Says they are working to restore access. Nothing on internet, Twitter or other soc apps to address this.

Useless piece of garbage as reported by others. Apparently Jeep, etc. has no, interest in correcting the connectivity issue as they already have your money for the vehicle and the Uconnect service... service stated jokingly. Update July 17: Uconnect says the app is not compatible with iPad mini 2 even though it is listed as being so. I guess by saying yes in one place and no on the phone they are covering all bases. Customer Service agent seemed really interested and tried to be helpful. Kudo’s for that.

Should’ve listened to the recent reviews. Completely useless app. Seldom results in actually starting my car or locking / unlocking doors and takes far too long to process even when it does successfully accomplish a task. Complete disappointment

It almost never works. The locator never works. I travel a lot and would like the remote start feature to work so that I can get into a cool car when I arrive back at my home airport. No such luck. All I ever get is a failure message. Please fix this app!!!!
Won’t update vehicle info🤬

My vehicle info hasn’t updated in 4 days I called customer support and I uninstalled the app reinstalled it and logged out and logged back in again and nothing. There isn’t even a place to refresh the vehicle info. The remote part works fine it’s just the vehicle info and sometimes the vehicle locator that does not work. Please fix this bug cause it is an option I plan on using for the whole term of my purchase beyond the free year they give you. ***************Update************** For the past week now the app has been working correctly and updating every 24-26 hrs. So thank you for whatever update or patch that was done. Great app

My wife has a Durango and I have a Ram 3500. With the old app we used one login and we could switch between vehicles. With this app it give the error “multiple login conflict” and one of us gets kicked out. When one of us logs back in the other person gets the error. That part of it is a real downgrade from the old app. At the current time we wish we could get the old app back.

If one of the reasons you are purchasing this app is for the location services DO NOT BUY IT. My young son borrowed my car to pick up his girl friend at the train station and got lost, so I thought I could use the location in this app to help him. What a joke it says my car is in my driveway and was last updated 16 hours ago. The health report and mileage is showing it updated 5 minutes ago but the location says 26 hours and there is no way to refresh the app. I tried closing and reopening and I even called customer care to no avail. No help at all. What good is the location service that only up dates once a day if you want to locate a stolen vehicle? A total waste of money. I will try to get a refund.

I bought the most expensive 2019 Ram with the 12 inch radio and can’t get the info button with mileage, tire pressure, fuel level, and oil level. After 2 hours in the phone I was told the new radio doesn’t support it. My old Ram that cost half the price supported it just fine. Takes forever to locate the vehicle in the app. I won’t be renewing when the trial is up.

I paid around 250 bucks for the XMGuardian service with this app and my vehicle almost never shows up when trying to locate it. Constantly fails. Waste of money. Buy a Subaru. Their app works perfectly.

The old Uconnect app was pretty good. You woke up your phone, clicked on the icon and voila... everything you need! This app... you wake up your phone. Enter your password eeevvvvveeerrry dang time. And don’t mess it up. Or you have to re-enter your username also! The app may be good, but I have only had a chance to use it once because it can’t store the password. So instead of trying to enter the password whilst walking to the truck, I end up just using my key fob and pressing the unlock button. Developers: you need to determine why the app loses the password. Update: not only does it lose the password, it doesn’t allow you to paste in the username or password fields??? Even my bank account app allows this. Lol. Rookie programmers. Update 2019-07-10: it is now working as it should! You click on the app, you control your vehicle.

Every time I use this app I get a multiple log in error. Then it kicks to the sign on page, Touch ID is cleared out. I have a complex password that I use a password manager with. Uconnect app will not let me copy/paste the password over. This app works ok for the information page, but remote start breaks after I use it. The app version that this replaced worked. It just plain worked

The app is great when it actually works, but unfortunately it doesn’t work at all and it’s really frustrating. The worst part about it is that people pay for this, definitely not worth it. I have the free trial and it’s terrible ever, since I had the app it’s only worked a couple of times and I’ve been having it for nearly a week. My Chevrolet app is 10x better when I had my Silverado. But now I have a Ram truck and I use Uconnect and it’s poor.

I pay for the app to use on my car. THE APP DOES NOT WORK! Press a command and it does not lock, unlock or remote start the car. Whoever gave this app high marks is an idiot that doesn’t really use the app.

Every time I try a function from the app it asks for a PIN that I never set up. After trying several PIN’s it logs you out of the app. There’s no info online about how to reset your PIN. Everything regarding PIN seems to be tailored around Bluetooth setup. Dealer is zero help. App doesn’t show any additional vehicle for my 2019 Laramie either. Only lock, unlock, start and horn/lights. An expensive feature that appears to be useless!

When the App works it’s great. Ever since I had to switch from the Black App to the “new improved “ Blue app, my service has sucked. It’s time to renew, and I don’t think it’s worth it. Looking at all the previous reviews I see I’m not the only one feeling this way. I called and spoke to someone, voiced my above comments, he said he hasn’t really heard of anyone complaining or having problems. He made a comment suggesting that I just didn’t know how to operate my phone. I wish I would have looked at this review page before I called him. Hopefully someone in the Uconnect head quarters is aware of these on going problems!

Works great, love doing a remote start in the winter on my Jeep Cherokee when the heater, heated seats and heated steering wheel are waiting for me when I exit the movie theater. I do not like the fact that information can not be updated on command like I can with my wife’s Buick Regal and my daughters Chevy sonic. Also the information update does not always work when you turn the ignition off So info on gas, tire pressure, oil life etc could be days old. Also oil life % is way off I would have to drive over 10,000 miles to get oil life % below 20%. Info said I had over 50% left and I had over 5,000 on the odometer of my new Jeep Cherokee.

I set a password on the website, and then I come here to enter it, and it says, “please enter a valid password,” and doesn’t make the submit box touchable. It’s like they have the wrong criteria programmed about what is acceptable content for a password, so I can’t log in.

Very convenient app with some great remote triggers. But, it can be improved with a few advancement of its features. What would be great is if the app would show the actual status of the vehicle when the vehicle info is displayed. What I am referring to is showing real time status of the vehicle running/not running. I have done a remote start and rec’d the notification that the request was received (in app notification), but the vehicle was not actually started. This could be done as an alternative through the remote page by “graying out” the start command button if the vehicle is running, and “graying out” the cancel command button if the vehicle is not running. The same could be done for the doors locked or unlocked. Overall, I am satisfied with the app and love the Sent and Go feature! It can be a bit finicky at times, but is a GREAT feature when it works like it should.

Called to try and activate my account. I got some high school dropout who had no intention of trying to help me. They must be hourly because it was like they weren’t listening to me at all. I actually hung up decided not to activate my account. Good thing Uconnect wasn’t the reason I bought my new car!

Don’t let them con you into paying for Uconnect after your trial is over. Half the time the app won’t open, the rest of the time it forgets my saved password. Once you open it, the features are not all that impressive. Remote start takes forever and really the rest of it is fairly useless. It’s not worth the money they charge. Also noteworthy - the representative I spoke to when signing up told me that paying for Uconnect would enable voice text via the car controls on my iPhone. It did not. iPhone voice text is NOT compatible with Uconnect.

The functionality that it shows in the description doesn’t actually exist. You can’t see the information on your vehicle. All you’re able to do is start the car, and lock and unlock the doors. No fuel level, no health report, no TPMS. Not sure how Apple allows them to get away with blatantly lying to their consumer. It would be great if it actually did that, but it doesn’t.

The app rarely updates, even when closed, deleted then reinstalled. If you lower tire pressures to go off road then it will update immediately suggesting to go to your nearest dealership to refill tire pressure. Typical of most products today, bait and switch. We have deleted this app.

App is slow to open and very slow to remote start your car or any other command. Most of the time I get to the car first. It’s SO slow it makes no sense. It also doesn’t save password most of the time so then you have to type in a password, passcode then it will open what you can do in the app. By this time you have gotten to your car. Useless.

Brand new vehicle, trying over and over to activate “the new improved U Connect” 4 calls, everyone had a different idea, “no problems, just give it 24 hrs” nothing! Oh the call yesterday had me driving 15 minutes, then call SOS and asked to be connected, still not connected. Good grief!

Works great, love doing a remote start in the winter on my Jeep Cherokee when the heater, heated seats and heated steering wheel are waiting for me when I exit the movie theater. I do not like the fact that information can not be updated on command like I can with my wife’s Buick Regal and my daughters Chevy sonic. Also the information update does not always work when you turn the ignition off So info on gas, tire pressure, oil life etc could be days old. Also oil life % is way off I would have to drive over 10,000 miles to get oil life % below 20%. Info said I had over 50% left and I had over 5,000 on the odometer of my new Jeep Cherokee.

Why can this app not work properly?Why is it basically never updated. I have not received a vehicle health report in 7 months. Granted if there is a problem the dash will show a warning light but the $170 I paid to renew after my free trial I want all the features that I am entitled to. The app never works. Countless emails and phone calls and yes I even took it to a FCA Jeep dealership and was told everything on my vehicle is working and that the problem is on Uconnect’s end. Uconnect will not do anything to upgrade or correct the issue or admit there is a “PROBLEM” on their end. Just look at all the other reviews. Same issues as I described. Bottom line is save your money, all this is is a “money pit”. I call Uconnect and all I get is danced around and circle talk and a decision tree analysis by someone who really could care less and then says “I can make you an appointment at a dealership for you. Well I can do that too and I did! No Problems Found. Excuse me but the issue is on your end UConnect! Your Research and Development Department and IT Department isn’t doing their job. This app is a total scam it does not wok properly, is never updated and a rip off. Do yourself a favor and don’t do what I did and waste $170 on this piece of garbage system and app. Never again. Total junk and like I previously said a rip off.....

I don’t know if it’s necessarily the app’s fault or the network or what, but it doesn’t always start the truck. It’s nice when it is working, especially out here in Phoenix when it’s terribly hot in the middle of summer. Remote start from far away from the truck is very handy for getting the interior air conditioned before getting out to it in a large parking lot. The truly annoying thing about this app is the fact that I cannot paste my password into the app after it forgets the login credentials, either from a restart of the phone or an app update. If you are being careful with your passwords and using a password management app, you are storing unique passwords and pass phrases for every app. I copy mine from 1Password and expect to be able to paste it into an app, but this one disallows that. Ridiculous UX. Fix that and I’ll be much happier to bump up the rating on this app. There’s no security advantage to stopping me from pasting from my password management system. In fact, you may be causing people to use simpler, more dangerous passwords.

Very convenient app with some great remote triggers. But, it can be improved with a few advancement of its features. What would be great is if the app would show the actual status of the vehicle when the vehicle info is displayed. What I am referring to is showing real time status of the vehicle running/not running. I have done a remote start and rec’d the notification that the request was received (in app notification), but the vehicle was not actually started. This could be done as an alternative through the remote page by “graying out” the start command button if the vehicle is running, and “graying out” the cancel command button if the vehicle is not running. The same could be done for the doors locked or unlocked. Overall, I am satisfied with the app and love the Sent and Go feature! It can be a bit finicky at times, but is a GREAT feature when it works like it should.

It woont work most of the time. I called numerous times to satellite guardian and solved many many times but after a couple of days went back to same old problem. I cant even locate my vehicle on the app??? Makes me want to get up and check on my car if its still in the drive way. Also, seen the ford app way better and faster!! Shamed about this feature and app when im with friends cause it doen not work!!! Any way that this thing can be solve? Or fix? Seriously, press remote start and if its in the mood it will do as fast as the ford remote access but if not, it will take forever! Rather it will do its thing or saying error! This remote access is a great selling tool! But if it fails! It is so freaking embarrassing! to a client. Im talking as an chrysler owner and a sales rep for crying out loud please do something!

It’s very frustrating when you work the night shift and have the capability of starting your car from your office so it will be warm and toasty when you walk out in frigid weather to get in your car only to find once again..... your car didn’t start. I’m certainly hoping this update helps, otherwise I’m not going to continue to pay monthly for something that works 2 out of 5 attempts. It should work 5 out of 5. I accidentally left my keys in my office to grab something out of my car, by the time I got the app to unlock my car and lock it back I could have walked in and grabbed my keys 10 times over! When it works it’s awesome but it’s just not worth it to not have it work properly all the time.

My vehicle info hasn’t updated in 4 days I called customer support and I uninstalled the app reinstalled it and logged out and logged back in again and nothing. There isn’t even a place to refresh the vehicle info. The remote part works fine it’s just the vehicle info and sometimes the vehicle locator that does not work. Please fix this bug cause it is an option I plan on using for the whole term of my purchase beyond the free year they give you. ***************Update************** For the past week now the app has been working correctly and updating every 24-26 hrs. So thank you for whatever update or patch that was done. Great app

If one of the reasons you are purchasing this app is for the location services DO NOT BUY IT. My young son borrowed my car to pick up his girl friend at the train station and got lost, so I thought I could use the location in this app to help him. What a joke it says my car is in my driveway and was last updated 16 hours ago. The health report and mileage is showing it updated 5 minutes ago but the location says 26 hours and there is no way to refresh the app. I tried closing and reopening and I even called customer care to no avail. No help at all. What good is the location service that only up dates once a day if you want to locate a stolen vehicle? A total waste of money. I will try to get a refund.

The only reason I bought my particular vehicle is because it had remote start and I live in the brutal Minnesota winter. I had issues setting my car up when I first bought it. Got nothing but a run around from the people at u connect and it actually took like 6 weeks for them to finally get me signed up correctly so my app would work. Now I am having issues again. For the last 2 months it will not remotely Start my car and gives me an error every time. When I push the app in my car to have them help me it won’t connect to them either.

This could be so much better. Try taking a page out of ONSTARs play book. It would be nice if you had the ability to check things on your vehicle such as tire pressure, oil life, etc. like the app display makes you believe in the App Store. It’s also pretty expensive!!!!! Hold out for a discount because it definitely isn’t worth full price. The only reason I keep it is to remote start in winter and that doesn’t even work all the time and yes I have the current radio update.

I couldn’t get the app on my Apple watch to move past “Hello. Just a moment...” so I called customer service. Went through 3 levels of help and absolutely no one even knew there was an app for the Apple Watch. After transfer after transfer and being put on hold while waiting for yet another person they disconnected me. The app on my iPhone works well but they need some serious training with their customer service team.

The app doesn’t save where I move the tiles, and I can’t click on the tiles to look at more in depth information like the help documentation states I’m supposed to be able to. Also, try finding any type of documentation or direction on how to renew SiriusXM Gaurdian ... it’s nearly impossible, if have already renewed now if I had the option to do so on the app but it’s not available, apparently the only way to set it up after your trial is to call.

Don’t let them con you into paying for Uconnect after your trial is over. Half the time the app won’t open, the rest of the time it forgets my saved password. Once you open it, the features are not all that impressive. Remote start takes forever and really the rest of it is fairly useless. It’s not worth the money they charge. Also noteworthy - the representative I spoke to when signing up told me that paying for Uconnect would enable voice text via the car controls on my iPhone. It did not. iPhone voice text is NOT compatible with Uconnect.

This app is so unreliable. Between long lags with sign on, “connectivity issues”, and faulty remote start/lock, I can’t imagine why anyone would pay for this service. The success rate is so low that I now rarely even try to use any of the features. Reviews show this is a common and ongoing issue. I cannot understand why a paid mobile subscription service is not prioritizing resolving these performance issues. You are losing potential new paid subscribers who have free one year trials with vehicle purchases.

I love this app! It’s so convenient especially for a person like me who always loses their keys! I can start my vehicle or unlock it from this app. I even locked my keys in the vehicle once. No need to call a locksmith I logged into the app from my sisters phone. I also love that The app also updates you on things such as oil and fuel level

Uconnect when working offers a lot of connectivity to your car via the app but it is almost impossible to get up to date information. You can request an update but the the app just sits there and continues to display data that at least 35 min out of current conditions. A command to lock the car for example may take more than 30 seconds, when your standing right next to the car.

In theory the idea is good but the execution is lacking... my number of “Vehicle Finder Fail” & “Remote Start Fail” greatly outnumber the “success”. It shouldn’t be that way, considering you’re not providing any vehicle status information. Not sure if it’s an issue on the server side or a lost in translation issue but, I can tell you, I NEVER get a failure when I use my Audi app and it provides a lot more information! I love my vehicle, just wish that I could love this too!

Love this app to start my car, only issue is that sometimes it is delayed and takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes which would defeat the purpose of allowing the car to warm up before I get to it. Other than that, it’s a great app and gives great information on your vehicle’s diagnostics.

I’ve had this app for about a year and will have ‘failed’ start, lock/unlock attempts several times a month. It is frustrating with the cost of the service to have it not work. Aside from that, I love the capability of being able to start my vehicle from further away, especially in the dead of winter and middle of summer!

My wife has a Durango and I have a Ram 3500. With the old app we used one login and we could switch between vehicles. With this app it give the error “multiple login conflict” and one of us gets kicked out. When one of us logs back in the other person gets the error. That part of it is a real downgrade from the old app. At the current time we wish we could get the old app back.

Brand new truck.... five days old. Remote start from the app on my phone is supposed to start the truck from anywhere, even out of town. But it only sporadically works from about 30 feet away in my drive way. I would guess it works 1/4 of the time at best. The other remote features seem to all work, but the one to start it is very unreliable. Pretty bummed considering this system has been out for so long.

Apparently Jeep, etc. has no, interest in correcting the connectivity issue as they already have your money for the vehicle and the Uconnect service... service stated jokingly. Update July 17: Uconnect says the app is not compatible with iPad mini 2 even though it is listed as being so. I guess by saying yes in one place and no on the phone they are covering all bases. Customer Service agent seemed really interested and tried to be helpful. Kudo’s for that.
Multiple Logins

This app works as intended. Could be better if multiple devices can login at the same time. I have multiple vehicles that use this app, but me and my wife can not login at the same time. It always kicks one of us out, and we are always having to log back in using the email/password. It doesn’t even allow the fingerprint to log us back in. Good but needs some work.
Doesn’t Work on My IPad

Had to “upgrade” to this app because the Sirius guardian app is defunct. This app has never worked at log in. It will go to the app screen then immediately log out and say there is a connectivity issue. However, it does work on the iPhone. I have made numerous attempts to contact FCA for app support to no avail. I’m guessing a bad review won’t do anything either. I would really like to use the “send to vehicle” feature again. Horrible app, horrible support.

The app is great when it actually works, but unfortunately it doesn’t work at all and it’s really frustrating. The worst part about it is that people pay for this, definitely not worth it. I have the free trial and it’s terrible ever, since I had the app it’s only worked a couple of times and I’ve been having it for nearly a week. My Chevrolet app is 10x better when I had my Silverado. But now I have a Ram truck and I use Uconnect and it’s poor.
Multiple Login Error

Every time I use this app I get a multiple log in error. Then it kicks to the sign on page, Touch ID is cleared out. I have a complex password that I use a password manager with. Uconnect app will not let me copy/paste the password over. This app works ok for the information page, but remote start breaks after I use it. The app version that this replaced worked. It just plain worked

Every time I try a function from the app it asks for a PIN that I never set up. After trying several PIN’s it logs you out of the app. There’s no info online about how to reset your PIN. Everything regarding PIN seems to be tailored around Bluetooth setup. Dealer is zero help. App doesn’t show any additional vehicle for my 2019 Laramie either. Only lock, unlock, start and horn/lights. An expensive feature that appears to be useless!

The functionality that it shows in the description doesn’t actually exist. You can’t see the information on your vehicle. All you’re able to do is start the car, and lock and unlock the doors. No fuel level, no health report, no TPMS. Not sure how Apple allows them to get away with blatantly lying to their consumer. It would be great if it actually did that, but it doesn’t.

When the App works it’s great. Ever since I had to switch from the Black App to the “new improved “ Blue app, my service has sucked. It’s time to renew, and I don’t think it’s worth it. Looking at all the previous reviews I see I’m not the only one feeling this way. I called and spoke to someone, voiced my above comments, he said he hasn’t really heard of anyone complaining or having problems. He made a comment suggesting that I just didn’t know how to operate my phone. I wish I would have looked at this review page before I called him. Hopefully someone in the Uconnect head quarters is aware of these on going problems!

I bought the most expensive 2019 Ram with the 12 inch radio and can’t get the info button with mileage, tire pressure, fuel level, and oil level. After 2 hours in the phone I was told the new radio doesn’t support it. My old Ram that cost half the price supported it just fine. Takes forever to locate the vehicle in the app. I won’t be renewing when the trial is up.

App is slow to open and very slow to remote start your car or any other command. Most of the time I get to the car first. It’s SO slow it makes no sense. It also doesn’t save password most of the time so then you have to type in a password, passcode then it will open what you can do in the app. By this time you have gotten to your car. Useless.

SOS DOES NOT MAINTAIN PHONE CONTACT!!! AGENT HELP USELESS!!! Remote functions do NOT work after 3 RADIO REPLACEMENT. Worked for 2 weeks out of a 1 year subscription. TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT FOR DODGE DURANGO!!! After a Divisional Supervisor got involved it magically started working. However I have lost one free year of service and I have no idea if this is a fluke or can be trusted. NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY. Will continue to update.

I love U-Connect but I’m not a fan of the new app. It doesn’t update the vehicle info and location for hours. My vehicle will appear to be at it’s previous location when I know that isn’t where it is. The old app updated right away and showed all accurate info.

This app is so horrible. All it does well is take up room on my phone. To lock and unlock the door it takes about 5-10 minutes to start the car takes about 10-20 minutes and that if it decides to work. I would love for it to work and would pay but how can I pay for something that doesn’t even work???
Disappointing

Previously I was able to have remote control of my Wrangler, start/lock/unlock features. Updated the app and now i have lost the entire remote access features, they dont even show up anymore in the app. Please give me back my features. Even though previous versions were slow to work I enjoyed getting into warm or cool car.

The app takes too long to update on the rare occasion that you get the update button. It also takes too long to execute a lock/unlock/remote start. Additionally, for a paid service that isn’t cheap I’d expect a lot more functionality.

As one of the few apps I pay for it is by far the worst app I have, never see a health report, 9 out of 10 times it fails to do desired function. Haven’t seen an update in the 4 months I’ve had it. 99% of the time when I open it I get a blank blue screen that never opens. So disappointed with this app and will be trying to get a refund

I called after renewing my membership and found weird that I was only being able to see my membership online. I was told because I have an IPHONE XR I wasn’t able to see the display on the app and that Apple is working to fix that issue.. real bs, why do I pay for the service if I can’t use the app. So disappointed

I came from gym, put my bag with keys from one side and while I was going to my driver seat Cherokee was closed by itself and I was trying to open it for about 3 hours with this app, unfortunately it didn’t happened. So I was outside till midnight when my girlfriend came from work and opened apartment to get my second key. Horrible experience, disappointed.

Obviously developers don’t read app reviews neither use the app. Not even sure if they properly tested it. Most of the time you will only get a “Connectivity issue” message whenever you try anything on this app. When you read reviews this seems to be the normal it does matter how many reviews you read.

Between the vehicle and the app. This is the biggest waste of money. Doesn’t ever work. They always have an excuse to why I’m having problems. Don’t get any of these options if you don’t have to! This would be a great feature if they could get it to work. Obviously they are using their customers as text dummy’s. This is 2019!
