Never gives you enough time
by Taybaby369 on 2019/02/16 07:12
Like this game, but it’s HUGE downfall is only giving you 2 days to complete special tasks. And they make most of the games more challenging then they need to be.
Deceptive advertising
by DamonC2 on 2019/02/16 06:43
Mini game is not what actual game play is like. Do not download!
Deceiving
by K•I•K•I_B•O•O on 2019/02/16 06:11
This is a fun matching game but the ads are complete lies and I’m waiting for it to start turning into the ads which is why I downloaded it. This game is deceiving and boring after a few levels.
Stuck
by Nic Angels on 2019/02/16 06:08
I hate how games look fun, and so you start playing them but then you get stuck on a level. I don’t have money floating around to buy coins and stars and lives to keep playing, which frustrates and pisses me off when I want to enjoy a game. I’m stuck on a level, no coins, slow refill of lives, and it’s sad because I love how it works towards bettering a mansion. Probably going to delete it in the next day or so, depending how long I can hold patience. Not the first game I’ve deleted a couple days after downloading
So challenging
by IMDonger on 2019/02/16 05:56
This game is so fun and challenging!! Once your done with a level you can have three choices of decor! We also have quests to do that makes it even more CHALLENGING sometimes when you don’t get a level you get better and better and then BOOM you get the level and move on!
False Advertising
by Harandson on 2019/02/16 05:51
Nothing like the ads. Deleting.
Not enjoyable
by Spider561 on 2019/02/16 05:44
It’s hard to enjoy a game where you get a crappy amount of coins per level. Getting barely 20 coins per level is ridiculous. There are way better matching games that give better rewards than this crap. Also the game difficulty raises soo fast it makes it hard to enjoy a game where you have to replay a level 30 times just to beat it once. The only way to really advance is to spend money on power ups which is ridiculous!! Not a fun game at all once you get to higher levels. All you get is frustrated. This doesn’t even deserve one star
Clickbait
by Cole9523 on 2019/02/16 05:40
Thought the ads look interesting but the game itself is nothing new. I already have a game exactly like these. What’s new?

Bait and switch
by Schmicnxme on 2019/02/16 05:10
Downloaded based on an in game ad that looked really fun. It has nothing in common with the ad. I’m tired of these tactics and will Not support apps that intentionally mislead.
Disappointed by misleading ads
by KatLa7 on 2019/02/16 04:42
As match-3 games go, it’s no worse than most. Frustrating, takes forever to get anywhere, but the worst is that what little non-matching play you get to do bears no resemblance to what the ads led you to believe you’d be doing. I’m at level 187 and it looks like I have probably 300+ levels to go before I ever reach the kitchen, where the action featured in the ads might possibly take place. Don’t think I’ll be with it long enough to find out. I’m glad I haven’t spent any real money on this.

Fun, but stuck on level 403
by magickill47 on 2019/02/16 04:26
Okay, what I have noticed, while getting very familiar with level 403, is this.....each time I get the chance to use a power boost (a firecracker, or beach ball), the tea cups that cover the spaces with the hidden letters beneath the blue frost have to be removed first before any progress to remove blue frost can made. Also, if there are two double firecrackers in the same row and facing the same direction, they do not double the progress made.... so it is if only one fire cracker has been set off instead of two. I believe I have been stuck on this level for 5 days now and I have used all of my firecrackers/beach balls, and all of my money. Please, please help! If some how I could gain a few extra moves, that could help move me beyond this level. I’d like to get to finish more of the story.
Not bad!

I thought this was going to be a boring little kids game but I was pleasantly surprised. Cool!

Not fun
by DJ Dragon01 on 2019/02/16 03:52
This game is far from fun. And not what was advertised in previews. The firs few levels are do able but the game soon gets far to hard for the rewards. I do not recommend.
The game
by Catwood101401 on 2019/02/16 03:49
It’s fun but it’s false advertisement when you show the ad in-between other levels of games and the game is actually not even remotely close to that so sad
Worst game
by The sizzle master on 2019/02/16 03:45
Not as advertised, awful game, do not waste your time.
False AD
by Jaulistine on 2019/02/16 03:10
So the add show you have to pick the right tools to fix broken thing but in reality you have to match colors like 3 plus in a row to get one point to use. They advertise it as a puzzle game and you it’s not.
It is a disappointment to its family
by abby1273 on 2019/02/16 02:47
When I bought this game I based it of the add then I played it I thought what the company did was big disappointment 1 star 😕
Not what I thought it would be
by Khbow on 2019/02/16 02:21
Ads for this game have been popping up in some of the other games I play and based on those ads it looked like a game where you have to use tools to fix problems/renovate a room. For example, in a kitchen scene with a fire, sink spraying water and spark coming from the microwave. Turns out it is just like candy crush but with a story line. Very disappointed.

by Need more free stars on 2019/02/16 01:30

Not what I thought it was
by NightWhoSayKni on 2019/02/16 00:03
I downloaded this game from an in-game advertisement. It looked fun and challenging and something different. It wasn’t. Just another Candy Crush type game. Very disappointed. False advertising at its best.
Animation too Slow and Irritating
by StrandedArtist on 2019/02/15 23:45
This game gives me a complex of frustration and headache. Perhaps, it’s just to infantile for my mind. Perhaps, it was created for slow people or little kids, idk; butI do know one thing, I’m uninstalling. Another thing while I’m giving my 2-Cent review, there’s too much chatting (reading) to do and it’s slow to disappear too. It actually could be a fantastic game IF, it could be set up like the old Millsberry game from General Mills. I mean, just let us use our own common sense and fix up the rooms. Even the Round levels are slow. This game would be great for people with Dementia or Alzheimer’s; but for me; I almost feel like throwing my phone out of a window
Misleading ad
by Maiaburner on 2019/02/15 23:25
I downloaded this game based on the ad I’d seen, which showed selecting different ways of fixing a kitchen. Fun! Instead, it’s a lot of “candy crush” type games to earn one star at a time to do ONE action at a time. At what point do I get to fix the kitchen? Updated review: now the same misleading ad is also showing two animals spanking each other while crying with the words YOU FAIL over the top! What the hell? Major failure. This ad needs to be changed immediately.
Not what was advertised
by Kskgsglxt on 2019/02/15 23:14
The ad I saw over and over again was more of a fixing game not another candy crush matching game. The game itself is alright but not what was advertised

Levels not consistent

Interesting game
by BJ5455 on 2019/02/15 21:46
I have had fun playing game but it gets aggravating sometimes. I have yet to get to the part the preview showed as to why I selected the game and sometimes when you go to select your choices the number of stars you have to have is definitely not worth it and then the item ends up being 1 of 3 but it doesn’t say that when the task shows up for the first time.

by Washington Dame on 2019/02/15 20:53

by 1 mama 2hi on 2019/02/15 20:46
I have just started your game and find it enjoyable. I have given only two stars because you have too much dialogue and it does not, as yet, involve games that you have in your preview ad that I watched for weeks on my other games until I decided to try it. I will give it a little more time and hope that I arrive at those interesting games I saw on previews soon.

It’s hit and miss
by lgdix on 2019/02/15 20:03
The 1.35.2 update just showed up on iTunes today. I’ve noticed friends are receiving cool furniture only gotten during “events”. Except I haven’t had events. On FB several people did not get the restaurant event. It’s not lack of playing either. I play several times a day. It’s frustrating to say the least. After I got to level 500, I started having trouble passing levels, and not getting the events others were getting. I’ve been waiting for this update for 3 weeks now. I finally get it, and the restaurant event is over??? I’m seriously thinking of looking for a different game that is fair to all players. I

by Phantomryoko on 2019/02/15 17:39
I love that we can unlock special rooms. However 3 days is not long enough. That is the only negative thing I have to say about this amazing fun game.
Not what I thought
by Kasha_bby on 2019/02/15 17:16
The game is okay to play, but it’s slow. It has dialogue/story through the entire game. You have to play another game in order to earn stars and you need stars to decorate or clean out the home. I thought I would spend more time actually doing work in the house instead of playing some sort of other game, to earn my right to play the game I originally downloaded.

SNEAKY and misleading.
by KatyAldana on 2019/02/15 15:35
Three examples: -The ads for this game do not show actual gameplay, and make it seem like a different kind of game. I advise advertisers put "not actual gameplay" on those ads. -They prompt for feedback, and only direct positive reviews to the App Store. Negative feedback results in no action. Isn't this against some policy?? -they're currently doing a "leaderboard" event where the scores are all fudged to give the player a false sense of competition and achievement. The game itself is great, so why can't the developers be more transparent and honest??
Frustrating
by Viv545 on 2019/02/15 15:08
The adds. For this game looked fun, decorating a mansion - but in order to do so, you need to waste so much time on a silly, difficult, frustrating game, which is clearly fixed. I’m not going to waste my time. There are so many other fun games out there.
Not as expected
by Giftedmom on 2019/02/15 14:23
All advertising shows completely different tasks than what you actually do. Candy crush games to earn money to furnish and redecorate the mansion. None of that in the add. I know someone who is at level 140 and still has not seen the games in the ads. Games are challenging but it wasn’t what I was looking for.
Starts off fun...
by Ladycornflakes690 on 2019/02/15 14:19
This game starts off as fun with a direct point of restoring a mansion. After a certain level around 70 you will find that you have to do pointless tasks that take up to 3 stars to complete and are a waste of time... on top of that some of levels are seemingly impossible and take multiple days to get past. You would think that after 80 games there would be progress on the mansion but no... literally on the second room due to those pointless tasks that give no advantage...
Nothing like ads
by CatRools8888 on 2019/02/15 14:13
The game advertised on another game was COMPLETELY different, as stated by other people rating it low scores. But the game completely turns around and puts what is actually in the game in the App Store, deceptive advertising. This shouldn’t have such high reviews for a stupid match three game like candy crush. I believe they are bots just to make the game look good. But in actuality it’s so slow and takes forever to do anything and the advertisements are fake.

Got bored and ad bait
by Junye1202 on 2019/02/15 13:16
The reason why I download this game was because I thought its like the ad where you fix broken things but no. This is a Toy Blast like game where you match all 3 pieces and the ad doesn’t show that. Gardenscapes and Homescapes are the same thing. Bad ad showing. Honestly? Just show us what’s in the game and stop with the fixing broken things. It is not that. Really? 25-30 moves to remove 4 mices? And the mouse moves down even when the board is a darker color than the others. How should I know when it’s good to collect the wind up mouse???
Loving it.

Ads lie. Meh.
by Massa Jo on 2019/02/15 07:52
Update: after my 30th failed attempt on level 81, downgrading to 1 star. Burned all my coins and bonuses; still can’t beat it. There’s a difference between challenging and money grab. This is for addicts with big pockets, and I’m only 1 of those things. Original review left below. Have fun milking the whales, Devs. **** If you came here because an ad made this look interesting, get ready for bait and switch. This is just a gem matcher with a frame story. As with all of these games, there’s no real strategy, just a series of levels where you can get lucky enough to win if you play enough times and the right gems spawn. Devs make their money by forcing you to buy gold to spend on boosts to improve your odds on levels where the odds are stacked against you or for when you hit a tough level, quickly burn through your 5 attempts and don’t want to wait 15 minutes for your next attempt. Can’t blame them for copying a successful business model. Frame story is interesting enough, but when I run out of energy I just go play something else until it comes back. I’m not invested enough to pay for anything.
False advertising

I came from an ad where it shows the game is a fixing/cleaning/repairing kinda guessing game. Well no. Nothing like the ad. False advertising is a horrible thing, hey false advertising has something in common with this game, awful! I would rate this 0 stars if that was possible.

by CovAngel2 on 2019/02/15 05:33
This is just another matching game! The preview didn’t show matching like candy crush. It showed more like which item to fix a room up like wrench to sink (that looked interesting like something new but when download it’s just another match 3 or more game Change the advertising to show its matching squares or change to game to look like your preview!! Have many said they was thinking it looked cool and different but wasn’t as advertised.
Not what is advertised
by deiothnedifjoei on 2019/02/15 05:13
The game is fun, but not at all what is advertised a thousand times in the other games I play. I downloaded because it looked like there were games where you chose how to fix things. Haven’t seen anything like this. Just another version of candy crush.

It’s colorful, and fun....but....
by Serenitycircle on 2019/02/15 03:43
....way too slow to get things done! The decorating abilities for the amount of time spent on matching games, isn’t worth the time it takes to play. It’s also too expensive to spend real money on...Sorry...
Needs more stars per game.
by KimmyGFunk on 2019/02/15 03:30
Levels too difficult for only receiving 1 star. Takes way too long to decorate anything. 🙄 Love the game but wish you received more stars per level. Or each task required less stars.
Ads for this on other sites are too much
by xrae00 on 2019/02/15 03:29
This game would be a lot better if you didn’t advertise EVERYWHERE. I get so sick of seeing them I just deleted the game. Paying to remove ads doesn’t stop them from polluting games all over.

FUN...BUT...
by Squirrelfollowell on 2019/02/15 02:30
This game is fun. BUT and it’s a big but, some levels are soo hard. I have been on a level for days. And what really stinks is, when I finally DO beat it, I am only going to get about 25 coins and 1 star. It’s ridiculous that to “buy” a power up or extra lives it’s 500-1000 coins. And the storyline is fun BUT to renovate a bird bath, it costs a star to remove the old one. 2 stars to put in a new one. 1 star to fill it with water and then 2 stars to fill it with bird seed etc. that’s just an example but when a level takes 2 days to beat, and then u only get one star for it, it’s disheartening to find that giving the dog a bath is 3 stars It will take years to get thru this game. I refuse to pay money to play, so I will play as long as I can. It’s unfortunate. It’s a fun game and I enjoy it very much. But it just takes so long to accomplish anything. It’s a real issue. And it could be fixed so easily. More stars for more difficult levels and it shouldn’t cost so many stars to do something menial. Just my opinion. Hope it helps.
Better than Homescapes!
by A 8 yr old parent on 2019/02/15 02:23
This game is so much better and it you don’t get stuck on a level for like a month! Really great game!
This game is deceiving!
by Tianz1 on 2019/02/15 02:21
I rated it one star because of how slick the ad maker thought they were. I would’ve rated it more if the game actually had what was shown in the AD! Shame. Now I am going to delete it.
Levels are too hard!
by Bignate4522 on 2019/02/15 02:14
The levels in this game along with many other games with this style, too hard and make me not want to play any more. The game would be really fun if the levels are easier. Quick progress keeps people playing. When I hit a hard level that takes me more than 20 tries, I end up not playing that game for days, even weeks.
Misleading

Deceptive advertising
by Mariposita99 on 2019/02/15 01:34
I downloaded the game because the advertising made it look fun but it turns out it’s yet ANOTHER slow “match 3” type game, this time involving a huge mansion where they make you redecorate. Who comes up with this s$&#? I’ve now deleted it and moved on with my life. Beware.
Needs improvements
by Psp628 on 2019/02/15 01:18
I wanted to like this game. I really wanted to. Combining Candy Crush with an interior decorating theme seemed like a win. But after a certain point you can’t go further as the levels get too hard and you can’t progress without purchasing coin and lives. A big disappointment. I’d probably play it more often if I’d get rewarded. Waiting weeks for a special feature to decorate only to be licked out by a difficult level. Frustrated. If they don’t fix this, they’ll lose players and advertising, I’m sure.
Almost Perfect
by alyssakristin on 2019/02/15 01:06
I really love this game! I love the graphics, and the colors. But it’s kinda hard in earning money. Every level’s coins are just in small quantities. Also, can you add a “tap to skip” button? Thanks!
Too expensive
by gtripp3 on 2019/02/15 01:04

I downloaded this game because I saw an ad from another game showing a kitchen with water spraying everywhere, you had to fix the stuff with tools and other various things you’d find around a house... it never said anything about a candy crush wanna be game that takes forever to get through for one little decoration. I call false advertisement because so far it’s just a matching game. Where is the fun in that? It’s gets boring and almost impossible, there’s not enough moves half the time and you only get ONE star for every level done. Based on looking at the size of the mansion I will never get through it especially when the character gets off topic from fixing up the house to wanting to read a diary... seriously... I wasted my time with this game. If you are not going to advertise the real game then don’t advertise the game at all...

It is a home decorating game. However you have to use a 2-5 stars to complete pathetic tasks such as buy a cat dish, find the cat, feed the cat, groom the cat. You have to play levels to earn stars to do tasks. The challenge of the levels are fun. However after a certain point it is almost impossible to achieve any stars without purchasing power ups. You get 5 lives. If you win a level you don’t lose any. If you lose a level you lose a life. Then you wait 30 minutes for 1 life to keep playing. It’s kind of frustrating after a certain point and no longer fun. The ad I saw for this game was not even close to how this game it actually played.

I bought the game thinking it was much different, it looked like you had to solve puzzles to fix items in the mansion but nope it basically yet another candy crush type of game. Plus, you don’t get enough moves to win levels so you are forced to use coins that cost money. I don’t have a problem with that but the number of coins to continue is ridiculous so you are pretty much required to spend real cash to play. You also run out of lives quickly and then can’t play until they regenerate (one about every 15 minutes). They do have prizes that give you infinite lives for a period of time but unfortunately it begins right then so if you are going to bed or on a time limitation you can’t even benefit from that.

Stars
by Not too impressed.. on 2019/02/14 18:24
Overall I really like the game but sometimes the amount of stars to complete a ridiculous task is unreal.... and the fact that you only get one star per game no matter how good you completed the game or in how many moves you completed the game in. it would be nice to be able to get two or three stars if you completed the game within a certain amount of moves. It would be so much better if mostly everything only took 1 or 2 stars to complete.... or offer a couple more stars per game... but overall it’s a cute game!
Tooooo slow
by sarahlandohome on 2019/02/14 17:56
I don’t like the candy crush part , to hard, we already have to wait on lives then get wash the cat or clean up mess after you already clean? Toooooo slow I do like decorating the mansion and wouldn’t mind some games that are not this hard can’t complete rooms
Straight up, undeniable false advertising
by CrunchatizeMeSenpai on 2019/02/14 17:09
Why is no one chastising the developers for this? There isn’t a single instance of using items to fix up the house in the entire game. What it shows in the ad is BS and never happens once. Businesses can get sued for false advertising, and there’s no possible way to look at it as anything other than that. (Not that I’m going to sue, because that would be extremely petty, but there are plenty of people in the world who make a ton of money off of suing everyone they can manage to find a reason to sue.) What I am going to do is give this game the lowest review possible and tell people not to bother. There are plenty of better match 3 games out there, and plenty of better house decorating games, too. This game doesn’t bring anything new to the table other than shameless false advertising. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
Nothing Special
by Sebs2016 on 2019/02/14 16:56
Saw the Facebook add and was intrigued by the idea of guessing which tool fixes what item, but quickly realized after downloading that this is nothing more than a candy crush spinoff. While it’s a good time waster, you still only get five lives to complete levels which earn you a star. Ok. But the kicker is when every action requires stars to complete. If the next step is to call the repairman, that’s a star. Then another star to answer the door when he gets there. Then 2-3 stars to fix the thing. There’s your five lives and that’s only if you complete each level every time. Some levels require you to use special items to complete or your 500 coins for five more moves. Ok. Coins for moves is nothing new, but if you complete a level, you only get between 15-30 coins each. This means you have to complete a TON of levels just to get a chance at five extra moves. While the game is soooo much better than its other version with the guy butler fix his house, this game could use more ability to earn more coins. Get rid of those fraudulent adds or either actually put those as levels in the game. Say every 10th level is the game seen in the add. People would be more apt to continue playing with the prospect of something different around the corner.
Not at all like advertised
by Sqm2709 on 2019/02/14 16:46
I gave this game the lowest possible rating because it is NOTHING like the ads. None of the game play showed in the ad is present in the game itself. This is one of the worst cases of bait and switch I have ever seen. I would give it a negative rating if possible.

Fun matching game with a house to decorate
by H8905 on 2019/02/08 01:00
This game is a lot of fun. As the game title indicates, a main part of the game are candy crush style matching games, which earn stars, which allow the player to complete various tasks around the mansion. I do like this matching game *much* better than candy crush. The graphics are better, the music is pleasant and the sounds are cool (both can be turned off if wanted). It’s also nice to be able to move the dynamite bombs from one row to another, and using a bomb doesn’t destroy other special tiles. There’s also a variety of games within the matching game so it’s not the same game over and over. The mansion is bright and colorful, and players can visit other mansions for ideas and to find new furniture. There is a side story, but there is always a “skip” button available, and it’s easy to speed through dialogue. Personally I didn’t mind the little tasks like bathing the cat or cleaning up the yard. One thing I did was play several matching games in a row, to accumulate stars, and then used those to complete a bunch of tasks at once. The matching games can be challenging but are NOT impossible. Dropping a series of tiles either vertically/horizontally will soon provide dynamite sticks facing the needed direction. There’s also incentives to keep playing, such as earning prizes that give a useful prize at the end. Overall this is a very fun game, it too easy and not too difficult. 5 Stars for sure.
Fun but...

I really like the idea of the game but as some of the reviewers in the past have said, it’s waaaaaaaaay too slow to be interesting. I would much rather spend my time on the actual decorating than the candy crush type game play... I mean that’s not why I downloaded it... I didn’t even know that there was a matching game to it. I saw an ad from a different game and this is not at all what I thought it would be based on the ad. I can see maybe a different type of game for different challenges and also different amounts of stars, but you can’t increase the amount of stars that we need to complete tasks and only give us one star for completing each level. Plus I’m on level 29 and it’s taking me forever to complete the level. They progress so quickly in difficulty, and looking at the size of the “mansion” there is no way in hell I’ll be making it past level 50... I also don’t want to have to wait 10 mins to get 1 life. Either make it make me wait 1 hour for 15 lives or make me wair 2 mins for 1 but it’s way too long between running out and I definitely do not want to pay for anything. There also needs to be more coins given away because 20 a game is not getting me anywhere. I’m going to keep the game downloaded but only if there’s an update coming soon because there need to be quite a few prominent changes. Overall though, there is a good foundation to the game but there need to be changes to the game to make it better.
Could be great, but...

Overall I have been enjoying the game, but the levels are getting too hard. I know what needs to happen to clear a level, but I don’t get the right pieces to do it. I’m on day five for trying to beat my current level - and it’s getting too frustrating. I playing many of these types of games, and I’ve played them a long time and reached really high levels... but I don’t see getting to do that with the amount of times it takes to beat a level. Using the extra bombs and tools rarely helps the way you need it b3cause you can’t choose when to add it to your game, so it gets wasted. Please give more moves so I can keep playing, or I don’t see me staying much longer. Also, can you give us more choice about where we transform and decorate. I’ve been outside forever, and would really rather be inside. If, as your other reply to reviews is an imperative for your game, that the story line is an equally important part of the game, then I go back to my first request plus one more. Give us more moves and for levels that are supposed to be hard, give us more than one star so we can move on more quickly from the parts we are getting bored with. Or perhaps, let us purchase stars, I’d do that before I buy coins again, as the bombs and such are costly and not as helpful as when you purchase such things in other games. Thanks for reading!

Deceptive advertising and gameplay
by PCGamerguy on 2019/02/08 09:51
From other games in-game ads I found this game. It is NOT at all like the ads. It is a typical match 3 game where you earn stars to ‘buy’ what you have to accomplish in order to advance. That part is all well and fine when you actually start playing, but again, NOT at all like the ads lead you to believe. The real reason I give this 2 stars is because in the mid 20’s levels you have to break crates that a wind up mouse is hiding in. This mouse moves to the next nearest crate when you break it, moves off the map entirely when there are no more crates. WRONG! When you are down to the last mouse, when you are down to your last available move, you break the crate and the mouse should go away OFF THE SCREEN because it has nowhere to go and you progress in the game. Nope! It ducks down into the crate and pops back out like that move didn’t matter. Can’t pass the level now, start over. This is rigged. During these levels long before I’m close to running out of moves, the very same move eliminates the mouse. Get down to actually beating the level and the game has its own rules to keep you from winning. I’ve replicated this very thing over 11 times across 4 different levels. Obvious cheating trying to make you spend money to continue. Treat me like a dupe and the game is forgotten about. Make an actual game that isn’t rigged and I’d HAPPILY pay the Devs money for their work.
Tasks equal
by puppeteeric on 2019/01/31 02:23
This is a really fun game! I like the people who stop through for help and gifting to liven up the story and it’s cool that the interior designer is there to move things along and make suggestions. She does sometimes, wander around without a purpose, or a clear vision. It feels that the tasks only arrive when she makes a suggestion. Is there a way to buy stars with coins, and replay a level for say 100 coins, not 500? Sometimes, the matching levels take a lot of tries for only one star and one can really wipe through their coins for remodels and projects. Maybe open rooms more often? Also, the concept of the cat is nice, but so far, it gets more coins than the house, while the house is waiting to be repaired. One coin, not three should lure the cat out of the armor, or give it a bath. For that matter, one coin should be the price for every task, except for greeting neighbors—that should be free. Also, how cool would it be if the food items and furniture that appears at the top right of the shape-matching levels, are “set up” in some of the unopened rooms? A little motivation for when we start renovating those spaces, something familiar to look forward to. And the interior designer can even mention that she “put them in the mansion for later.” This game has all the foundational makings of a hit.
Please stop making me play with the cat!
by writerle on 2017/11/30 21:37
This game was fun at first. The levels were challenging, but not impossible. However, now that I'm up to level 75, the game is getting quite frustrating. Some levels are so difficult that you either have to play for days before you get a passable board or purchase lots of coins in order to buy power ups or extra moves. Then, once you finally do clear a level, you get a pathetic 30-50 coins (meaning you have to pass dozens of levels just to purchase one power up) and 1 star. Worst of all, after decorating the initial rooms, almost all of your tasks involve answering the door or playing with the cat. Seriously, I've wasted 10 coins in a row doing nothing but getting the cat yarn to play with, rescuing it from the suit of armor, buying it shampoo, and giving it a bath. And none of these tasks are optional. I haven't decorated anything in days, which is what I downloaded the game for in the first place! I see lots of complaints about this in the reviews, but judging by the developer's responses, it doesn't seem like they are addressing the problem. I will probably delete the game soon since, frankly, I hate cats and the game is quite simply boring at this point. Add edit: Another issue: I have contacted customer support several times to report an issue, and there is never a response. This game doesn't seem to receive any developer support at all.
It’s a cute game but...
by Ye Old Gamer on 2018/11/05 16:30
I really like the basic story line and I’m sure it will be fleshed out as the game moves forward. I’ve just started the game and have found that 500 coins for the extra moves at the end of a game just doesn’t weigh out with the amount of coins you win. I think the highest coins I’ve won has been somewhere around the 50 or 60 range but average is 30 to 40. That said, I do think this game has many possibilities. I love the matching and decorating. I think maybe some more detail in the actual mansion rooms would be nice. I love the cat so maybe (and I’m not a game developer/programmer) there could be a little more interaction between the cat and the girl AND the person playing? Just a thought. I like to play to relax but I do like a challenge. Even in the beginning levels of the game there are some challenges that are not easy to win on your first, second or even fifth tries. So my only other advice would be to make the harder levels a smidge easier. Of course it’s easy for me to play ‘armchair quarterback’ because I’m not a game developer/programmer and I don’t know the intricacies of how to make the game ‘work’. I do know that I am constantly awed at how far games have come in the last 20 years and I really do enjoy MM. Thanks for reading. Maybe I’ll update as I get higher in the levels :-)
You must have steel nerves to play this game.
by Бамбарбия Кергуду on 2018/12/29 07:49
This game is designed to force you to pay $$$ for useless coins and power ups that supposed to help you to pass some levels. I haven’t spend any $$$ and I am already on level 574. I kept playing some levels over and over and two or three days later program allowed me to win. All you need is patience. If you can’t beat the level leave it, come back later and eventually you’ll do it. Also, never spend golden coins, pretend they don’t exist, just make bunch of friends and ask them for lives, watch advertisements, use bonuses like infinity lives when they available. If you completely out of lives just take a break, remember to be patient. I do agree that scenarios can be absolutely idiotic and you can spend bunch of stars for just greeting guests, or playing with pets but the game is still interesting and worth playing couple of times a day. The last thing I want to say that I would only spend my money when the golden stars would be available for sale! I don’t understand why developers can’t do that, for example $9.99 for 100 golden stars:) at least once in a while, like New Years special or something.
Great Game!!!

I’m not much into games, but I love this one and I’m very addicted to it! I used to play Gardenscapes which is very similar to this game, but I quickly got tired of not being able to win the matching levels. The games were next to impossible to complete, sometimes took a week to get through just one level and I’d get very frustrated and was always tempted to delete the game. Then the tasks got to be ridiculously redundant, they got to be for very minute details and you’d rarely get the opportunity to landscape the gardens. Isn’t that supposed to be the goal of these types of games? I went on a search for a replacement game and found Matchington Mansion!!! As you go through the levels, they become more of a challenge. Sometimes you can get stuck on a level and it will take a day or so to complete, but they are WIN-ABLE! Some levels are hard, some very hard, but then you also get some relief as a few levels are a bit easier but always a challenge. It’s a perfect combination and I don’t feel frustrated when I’m done playing, and with this game, I always want to come back for more!!! Matchington Mansion is the best of this type of game that’s available to play!!!

I downloaded this game because I thought it was like the add, where you fix the house by picking the correct tools. I was really disappointed to find out that the game is nothing like it. I still enjoy the game but I wish it was like the add. I kept playing because I thought that there would be a mini game like the add, but so far no. Could you please tell me if there is a game like the advertisement or if you choose to update the game and add he mini game, I will vomit to play this game though. Also, I’m stuck in level 41! I can’t beat it! I have tried it about 30 times and no I’m not exaggerating. When I “played the board game” I got unlimited life’s for an hour and I tried about 20 times. I might quit just because of that level. You should make a skip level option, obviously it would be expensive. Another thing, if your stuck in a level and have less that 500 coins, you can’t hit the continue playing button because you have no money. I think you should make a way to get money with out paying real money other than the daily reward. Lastly I think some tasks take to many stars, like get nightstands. Seriously just one will work. I hope this review help and I hope you will make those changes.
Love the game...but
by g161718 on 2019/01/21 13:06
So I love the game, like a lot of people do. I’m up to level 234 rn. But I have to agree with the other people, it is getting more and more challenging. I get that it’s supposed to be challenging, but sometimes it takes me close to a week to pass a level. And i get that playing with the cat and all the extra stuff is part of the storyline, but really I’m just here to decorate a mansion, so wasting ten stars on a cat is a little annoying. But that doesn’t matter as much to me as the fact that it doesn’t even out. The tasks are requiring more and more stars to complete (really, three stars take a drink of something??) and the levels are getting harder and harder, and once you complete those hard levels you get one star and ten coins. How about, those ones that you design to be really hard, you actually give like two stars for? Because considering that we need more stars to complete tasks now, it would seem logical. Ok, but other than that. Vivid colors, excellent design, good idea with furniture. The storyline is good, even if I’m not there for the story, and the characters are excellently developed. Just, for those really hard levels, could you offer more rewards?
A fun concept, and well written, but...
by LarkInTheMorn on 2018/11/27 18:08
After a while, the levels become too difficult to win unless you are willing to spend money. The time passes too quickly, and you find that you must spend 500 coins to gain a tiny bit more time which usually isn’t quite enough, so you either give up and lose your 500 coins, or pay 600 more to finish the level. I have spent an additional 1200 and even 1500 to finish levels, because the time you buy so dearly is very little. I have beaten some levels without spending real money, but more often I have had to shell out or quit. Then you win 30 coins, which doesn’t begin to make up the deficit. When you are trying to beat a level without spending money, your lives run out and you can’t play, until some time passes, or you go begging to someone else to give you lives. Unless you win coins, you, can’t decorate or complete any of the tasks, so pretty soon you are left with nothing to do. I think the game designers need to make it not quite so hard to beat the levels and/or make the payoff for beating a level more than 30 coins. People will still spend money when they are close to winning, but they will not get frustrated and quit, as I am close to doing.
SO much better than Candy Crush...

I can’t say enough good things about this game. I usually don’t write reviews for anything, especially for silly iPhone games, but this one is just too good to stay quiet. First off, it’s so much fun- I can literally spend hours playing and never get bored. Plus it’s not so easy that you just fly through levels. There are some really challenging ones! Secondly, the customer service is amazing - there have been several times when something doesn’t work within the game, and the Matchington Mansion team will always address and fix the issue immediately, along with throwing in some free coins or lives which is so nice! Lastly, it’s really just the cutest game I’ve ever seen. The amount of detail within the game really amazes me from the characters, to the furniture, to the little side games we’re able to play. I love how much effort the Matchington Mansion team has put into the game to make it a really enjoyable experience for users (I LOVE the Fall/Halloween theme you have going on right now)... I highly recommend everyone download this :) I’m lowkey obsessed and never want it to go away lol.
Not what I expected
by Lehighguy on 2018/12/07 00:10
I received ads from another game for this game.....it seems a bit misleading. Here’s my thoughts......too much match game...and come on one star at a time.....this is like watching paint dry....some how it needs to be more interesting. It’s too long and draw out...... have you heard of Hay Day.....guess what it was a little more instant gratification but the tasks were too time consuming.......played it for over a year and finally said this is like work instead of fun. I get that developers need to make $$$$ and either pay to play or watch endless ads or both..... the games need to be fun or engaging, not work or endless tasks to reach a goal. I think somehow you need to find a reasonable system like pay a small fee to start and then another fee once you reach a certain point etc etc. or at least test it...... because I’m over investing my retirement savings on gaming online vs going out and buying a gaming system and purchasing a game for hours, days, weeks, months, of enjoyment without spending another dime. My problem with that is the controller has way too many buttons to push and I’m old and don’t have the coordination and I want to throw the controller through the window!! So there is my 2 cents.....
Misleading ads and ridiculous levels
by Mieyonna on 2019/02/13 03:34
I’m going to just toss it out there that this is NOTHING like the ads I was drawn in by....but u do u. I’m annoyed right now because it seems like the higher the levels the more rigged the game feels. I’m almost on level 200. I’ve gotten hours and hours of infinite play and KNOW what time it began and yet it ENDS an hour early every time. 30min early. I’m on level 194 I believe and there’s this ONE BOX in the bottom right corner. I get down to that single box every time and since u have to tag it three times before u can get the dang bear, it’s left there. You want me to buy stuff. I get it. I would just rather use my coins on a level that I NEED it on rather than when I feel FORCED. It’s utterly impossible to get that box without using a boost of some kind. I could eventually do it with hours of an infinite lives boost but that’s what u do....u wait til u see we are stuck and then throw in a “gift” to get us beyond it. I’ve played up to this point but I’m not more frustrated than I’m enjoying it. I like the levels hard....I couldn’t have gotten as far as I have in a single week if I didn’t enjoy a challenge but some of these are ridiculous. I do NOT enjoy taking days or hours to clear one single level. I will just pick a new game.

I enjoyed this game but I would give it a three star because I cant get past level 20 its impossible I don’t think I’lol ever get past it also once I used all my hearts I have to wait then I get really bored waiting can’t they use have unlimited hearts and not wait because I try to beat level 20 I saw this game on the add so I wanted to download it. It showed me like you can decorate but it never showed me that I had to do levels and get stars build. But I still enjoy playing this game if you ever Danny updates can you give everybody who plays this like five stars for the people to use to decorate? And also make the levels a bit easier cause I can’t pass level 20 like I said it feels like level 20 is impossible to beat! No hate tho but I can’t do it. Maybe you can try to fix it to make it a bit easier some people might think it’s hard and some don’t maybe you think it’s easy but it isn’t to me and other people I hope you make this game a little bit better for more downloads! (Edit) I’ve been trying for hours and hours and hours and I’ve be slamming my iPad so hard for the freaking game to work! I just try so hard to just to get past! And I waste all my hearts! I TRIED A MILLION TIMES!
It is a fun game, but...
by PegasusDiaba on 2018/08/08 17:50
Unless you haven’t anything better to do with your time, don’t start this game. Once you get into the higher levels 200 and above it can take days to beat a level or longer. I have spent money on the game, but I’m not spending money on a game when I feel like I am being forced to spend money to pass a level. All levels should be passable, they can be tough, but all should be passable. I have been on the same level for about 2 weeks now. Unable to beat it with unlimited lives for hours. Once, I even had two beach balls to combine twice! Plus a beach ball and explosives two or three additional times and still could not beat the level. This morning I was going to pay for a package and decided no. I will probably just delete the game. I’ll give it another day or two and then completely delete it. I like everything about the game, but that aspect of it, and it is a fun game most of the time. It’s just greed, but I understand if this is the only way to support their families. If you don’t mind playing the same level for weeks, or even months, or even finally giving in an spending cash to beat the level then you’ll love it, if not find a different game.
I feel misled
by DocTalk12 on 2019/02/05 19:03
I like the premise of decorating the mansion, but the ads for this game showed in other games are different than the levels I’m playing here. The ads showed several tasks that needed to be fixed (ex: leaky sink, sparky wiring on the microwave). I’m currently on level 336 and have yet to see any level other than the candy crush type. I recommend the advertising dept address the inconsistencies or at least make it known when in the game you might see these types of activities. A second suggestion I have is to limit the number of steps required to finish a task. Example: one “story line” included discovering a noise (baby bird had fallen out of the nest), looking for the nest, calling Jack, asking to borrow Jack’s ladder, and then putting the baby bird back in the nest. Each of these tasks required 2-3 stars to complete. While I can appreciate that not all story lines have to do with redecorating the mansion, tasks like these do nothing to further the game and could be condensed into 2 steps (find baby bird, return it back to nest) and then move on to something more relevant. Having so many steps for such a simple and nonessential story detracts from the enjoyment of playing the game.
Waaaay too frustrating
by MumpsProgrammer on 2018/10/05 22:57
Okay, I’m taking away two stars from my previous review. Don’t get me wrong, this is really a good game in a lot of ways. But my revision is because of one thing: the developers don’t know the difference between “challenging” and “frustrating”. I’ve expressed this to them and they excuse it by saying well, when you finally beat a hard level, your pleasure will be that much more. Phooey. If this were a game of skill, that would be true. But in a game that’s probably 90% based on how lucky you are with the way the tiles fall (and you’d be hard-pressed to convince me the way they fall is not mostly controlled by the game), that’s nonsense. In this game the enjoyment is in the advancement—getting to finish one room and unlock the next. If it takes you 100+ lives to get through a level and it takes you a week or more to do it, and meanwhile these side challenges come and go without your being able to take advantage of them because you have to win levels to do so... well, it’s just maddening, not fun. I’ll probably keep playing since I’ve reached level 1300-something, though not with as much dedication or enthusiasm, just to see if they finally get the message. But I’m not holding my breath.
Matchington Mansion
by ✨GLITZ💖GIRL✨ on 2018/06/04 00:37
I highly recommend this game for people who love to play matching games and/or design games, and this one is a wonderful combination of both. I do have a few suggestions, but this game is otherwise a great application, as it is fun and entertaining, and yet has limited ads! The two suggestions I have are that the game creators add in more personalization opportunities, like being able to name every character in the game, and making you own furniture for the mansion. The game would be a million times better if it were more interactive, so you could design your character and choose your character’s reactions and actions. The only other thing is I wish you could have a way to speed up the time for more hearts with coins. If you could possibly add any of these ideas, especially the interactive one, it would be greatly appreciated. The game is addictive and awesome, I love it so much so thank you to the creators of the game. This review probably won’t be read, but if it is, thank you for this game and please please PLEASE at least consider these ideas, it took me forever to write this review.
Great game but...
by Maylynn13! on 2018/09/17 07:18
I loved this game from the moment I started. Beautiful design, great balance between decorating, hidden secrets, and matching levels. The characters are fun to get to know. I also love the feature of visiting other players. For anyone complaining about the lack of options, go visit other houses and pick up additional choices. It costs a few coins to swap out, but not many and it’s worth the fun and variety. However, I echo the sentiments about the level difficulty and being ‘stuck outside’. I am on level 316, and have only paid for coins once, so it can be done. But it is frustrating to get stuck on seemingly unsolvable levels. Most of them just need a few more moves to complete. It’s nice though that there are plenty of challenges for extra power ups. And the developers give away infinite lives for an hour or so all the time. I would like to eventually get back inside the house though. There are tons of rooms to do and I’ve been outside in the garden for literally hundreds of levels. PLEASE let me get to those rooms. If I wanted a garden I would play Gardenscapes.
Same old same old- not what the ads show
by Lin Sto on 2019/01/16 22:09
Like some have said, the ad does not match the game. It’s bejeweled, candy crush etc all over again. Spending days just to get past level 43 or 46 is not fun. You can’t choose to go from room to room to “decorate” here and there but are stuck in one room for weeks trying to get past the puzzle which doesn’t vary much in its form and goal. It’s frustrating and boring at the same time. The amount of coins 500 you spend to continue to defeat a level is ridiculous. Makes other games 70 coins seem like a bargain! I thought this would be different and fun but will be deleting it. The “redecorating” process is so slow with some tasks that are irrelevant and make no sense in context to the game. I decided to keep playing to see if it got better. It has not. They have side games so you can earn extra points. However it makes you play the same game as the decorating one. It may let you win one level of the side game but then never enough to win that prize the side level offers. I have yet to win a prize on any side games. It takes 25-30 times replaying the same level before something kicks in and “lets” you win it.
Tired of false advertising and weird graphics
by Nolifegamer666 on 2019/02/07 04:33
When I first saw this game as an ad in a different game (it was the ONLY ad I’d even see in that game), it showed a room that was messy and many items were broken. In the ad, you had to choose from a list of items to fix various problems like choosing a plunger to fix the toilet. I downloaded the game because I thought it would be something original. It’s not. It’s a match three game like almost literally every other game out there. I decided to play it at least for the story. Now I’m not too incredibly far (I just reached the bedroom which is the second room you decorate), but I have to say that some of the graphics are weird. When the game zooms in to show you what you placed, the decorating woman will be clear as day but the decoration itself will be super blurry. When springs were coming out of the old mattress, I couldn’t tell what they were at first. I knew the game would bone you out of coins and everything in later levels so I’m being even more stingy than Mr. Krabs. Overall: story isn’t terrible and I like seeing some of the decorations. Cute cat too. But holy crap do the graphics bring out the OCD in me sometimes.
Matchington mansion
by kailyn133 on 2019/02/07 22:40
It’s a really well made game but I wish when you don’t beat it the first time you should get an skip this one for like 100 coins and also talking about coins and maybe 300 coins after you finish the level and when you run out of lives they should just fill up right away! But other then that I really really really love this game. I play this every single day It makes the time go by so quickly. Please if you see this please look and think what I am saying thank you very very very much I think everybody will love this game if you change what I was just talking about. Sorry if I sound rude I am not trying to be! But dude love this game so much. I really love that you have to open every room Before fixing it and making it all pretty! I just finished the first room the living room. I now I am on the bed room! Can’t wait to make is so pretty and perfect! Love this game so much thank you for making such I great game that I think every body that played it love and WILL love this game! Hey
Good concept. Too hard to move forward.
by Pidd62 on 2017/11/28 07:15
I don’t mind games that get a little tougher with each new level, but some of the levels here take a lot of tries before they can be successfully completed...and I’ve only reached the second room of the mansion so far! There’s 15 minutes before you can earn a new “life” so i have to leave the game while they replenish, only to quickly lose them again. It just feels like I’m spending a lot of time playing the challenges and no time decorating the mansion. Understandably, this is all designed to get the player to spend real money, which I already did, but boosts and life chances cost so many coins, it runs out very quickly. It’s just not worth it. I’ll probably delete the game and look for something else. Pity because the concept is simple enough for passing the time, the graphics are decent and the challenges really are fun, but the ratio of challenge to payoff is lopsided. Oh, and the variety of decorations for the house could be a little better. Only 3 of each item to choose from. Visiting other players’ houses, they all looking pretty much the same.
Really Want To Love This Game- But....
by Chickk let's on 2017/11/28 20:56
I really want to love this game- I am an old candy crush fan and I understand level difficulty- But this game is set up much morefor frustration- than for decoration. The levels become increasingly impossible- in that the drop rate of common tiles- stops. there is very often- only one match that can be made- breaking any strategy ideas by making them impossible. The devs sprinkle some levels that solve themselves- but from -say level 50 and up- the demand for purchased cheats increases exponentially. In Candy crush- (Which was also designed to frustrate) you could go back and replay level to get more stars to spend, to help you along- But Not here- every level hints at that wall- and at level 65 The game has STOPPED. I have calculated the drop frequency of color relations- and it is not my skill that is lacking- rather- it seems to be because I have some cheats left to spend- So This game isn't chance Or Skill- but a calculated frustration- that may-or may not leae you hanging. The game wiggles hints that are against helpfulness- and it says terrific and fabulous- when the move was completely non productive towards the goal- It becomes a Taunt- or a false positive. Which is not entertaining- at all.
Slow reward process delays game play
by Jfdukbcyh on 2018/12/12 13:21
The graphics are really nice and I enjoy the puzzle aspect. I do think there should be items hidden around the house to earn bonus items rather than having to spend your coins to buy items. I also think lives should be around the house as well. Maybe you can pick a story line rather than having them auto populate. Meaning, there are times where it only gives your the option to use your stars to play with the cat but I would rather use them to build or repair something but that option is not available until you play with the cat. I do enjoy the mini vendors that come in as bonus games. To only earn one star per level is not great. There should be an opportunity to earn more stars based on how quickly or in less than the given moves you complete the level. Also I don’t think the amount of coins earned makes sense. Again, there should be an option to earn double or triple the amount based on your completion of a level. Similar to diner dash.
The game needs work
by CaitlandJean on 2018/09/18 14:14
So here is the deal. I love this game but I do feel there is some things that should be worked out. I get that with any game each level gets harder and that is fine. However when each level is getting harder as well as requiring more and more stars to complete a task. You wonder why everyone quits playing and never makes it past the library. Some of these levels take me 5+ tries or I just need one more move which I have to pay 500 coins for but there is very little opportunity to earn coins in the game. Only twice in 127 levels have I ever gotten 50 coins when finishing a level. It is usually around 20 or less. So the fact that every thing requires large amounts of coins is ridiculous. Most games like this give you a time limit not a limit on moves which you usually need literally one more. So makes me feel that the company is just out to get your money because you are basically forced to buy coins to play the game. I like to concept of the game but if I find one with a better operating system I would much rather play that.
Started out fun!
by grandma vallen on 2019/01/12 13:31
This game starts out quite addicting. Then as it progressed it took me more than a day (and I haven’t beat the level yet) to get through some of the levels after NUMEROUS (think double digits) try’s. I get that they have to get tougher as you go but spending more than a day trying to complete a level isn’t much fun anymore. Also, no matter how difficult the level is you still only get 1 star and 25-30 coins. I have only gotten partway through doing the first bathroom and I think I will probably delete the app. Too bad really, I was very much enjoying it. UPDATE: ok, I’m still here. After 2 days I finally beat that level. The one with 100 cups of tea/coffee. I think one of the issues was that that one was totally boring. I am now on level 122. There have been some pretty difficult ones but I am getting better at figuring them out. I loved the musical one where you got a bomb or something to help in the next level as long as you progressed. The game is still fun, but more that one star would be nice if you collect more coins, or if a level is more difficult.
Pretty good but needs some tlc I
by happy_0089 on 2018/11/24 20:40
I hate it when you can’t beat a certain level and you use all your power ups on it and now your out of lives. I know it sounds like I’m just complaining that I don’t have skills, but I always get to the last couple items I have to get and there are about three left ( not exactly ) And BOOM I’m out of moves and I can’t pay to continue ( With Coins ) and I’m NOT paying for extra coins. Oh then there is that problem that you run out of lives to play the level and then you have to like send a request to Facebook ( Which is really stupid because this game is for people 4 + and usually 14 year olds and below DON’T HAVE FACEBOOK ) I know it’s like a partnership but you should probably think that through more. Now this is an okay game , it’s fun and enticing. But these flaws need to be assessed. AND LET US WATCH A VIDEO TO GET LIKE 20 COINS SO WE CAN USE THOSE COINS TO CONTINUE OUR LEVEL AND NOT RAGE QUIT. Because I don’t want to waste my money on a game. I seriously hope you put some consideration into these requests and flaws but until then my 3 stars will not turn into 5 stars.
Decent game but one problem
by Jason P.M. on 2018/12/20 01:11
Some of the levels are to difficult to play. The reason for this is because not enough moves are provided in certain levels. Ex. In level 336, I only start with twelve moves and even though additional moves are provided, I practically end up using those twelve moves just to get to the others. This is one level that is extremely impossible to pass and I think all levels like this one should either have additional moves are just get rid of the concrete blocks entirely because all they're doing is hindering my progress. Update: I can't stress this enough. The harder levels need to have more moves. I've been stuck on the same level all day today. Adding more moves to a level would really help because I'm now close to either ripping my hair out in frustration, deleting the game or both. Please add more moves as levels progress so I can get through the game much more quickly and easily. Update 2: I have decided to delete this game as it's too impossible to get past many levels. Truthfully, I feel I could play Matchington Mansion if it simply had unlimited moves for every level instead of a certain number of moves in which to beat a level.
Wonderful game!
by Lovely nois. on 2018/03/08 23:58
I love this game to bits! I don’t really mind that it has challenging levels and I’m at level 150 at the moment. I don’t like how you guys changed the character designs and the art style. They looked so adorable and alive before the update! Especially with the rosy cheeks and lively expressions. And now they look so dead, especially the main character. Her eyes stare into my soul! I just love the previous art style and there was no need to change it at all. But other than that, good job guys! It has a nice story and keeps me busy. In a way, the challenging levels are good. It motivates me to keep going and doesn’t go by in a flash. I also like how you incorporated the storyline behind the mansion, but I don’t like how you constantly have to pay attention to the cat. Of course the cat is important in finding things, but I don’t think it’s necessary to give it a bath or play with it when the action does nothing for the storyline. It just wastes your stars when you could be making progress. Thanks for your time :)
Fun Gameplay, False Advertising
by i love the jonas bros on 2019/01/12 07:55
I wanted to add that, like other reviewers, I downloaded this game because of ads that showed a completely different kind of gameplay. I thought that matching the solution to the problem in the mansion looked fun; however, I was disappointed to find that that game does not seem to exist. I do enjoy the game that this turned out to be despite my initial disappointment. I agree with other reviewers that the gameplay is a bit slow due to the somewhat irrelevant tasks and small amount of stars rewarded for winning levels. However, I like that I do not move through the levels too fast and have to strategize to win (even though I know that a portion of winning is due to luck). I also like that I can visit other players’ houses to expand my decor options. My main suggestion for the app developers is to stop the false advertising. I understand that they may be trying to market the game as more unique than it actually is. Despite this, I do not think that it is right to outright lie about what the game will include.
Stars
by MoMacita777 on 2019/01/13 18:07
This is a great game! It’s very involved considering there is a storyline with it. Instead of having conversation before every move.....allow a pointer to direct player what is needed and make a short compliment after it’s achieved to pick up the game pace more. Thank you for the few choices to choose from to make you feel like you’re really decorating. My only concern are the harder levels. Young children will not be able to play this game very long because it will be too challenging to complete the levels to obtain a star. A 4yr old will most definitely not be able to complete certain levels since this game says for 4yr+. More stars should be awarded after the harder levels are completed. This game will frustrate young children who can’t pay for the helps(coins, frying pan, etc.) Some of those extra moves should come down on earlier levels. If this game isn’t going to be adjusted then you should consider increasing the recommended age. Thank you for reading......more stars plz!
Misleading ads and lame tasks
by Refrigerator Running on 2018/11/25 19:42
I downloaded this game while watching ads on other games I play, one of which included a kitchen setting where several repairs needed to be made. That seemed fun and so did the idea of renovating a large space with beautiful colors. I would probably have more fun if I didn’t spend days trying to complete a level for one star that’s only ultimately used to do things like open the door, or “jump on the bed” (I kid you not I spent several days trying to complete a level and the only task on hand was “jump on the bed”). I like playing this games as a way to decompress but I’ve actually yelled at my phone out loud because I’m one move away from actually completing something. I have a feeling developers have gamer history and so wanted to up the challenge for users but without ways to re-up on lives immediately (sans payment) or a way to carry out wide quests that can score the user more boosters, I feel like every level is an annoying boss battle with little pay-off. Getting a cool shield or awesome set of drapes or shelves? Nope. You’re jumping on the bed. And that’s it.
False Advertising!
by Arcerfacey on 2019/02/01 11:43
So I see I’m not the only one who downloaded this game thinking it was a different game based on the ad? The game itself isn’t terrible, it’s Candy Crush with decorating and a cat.. The ad I saw showed a kitchen going crazy and you had to drag items to the correct thing that needed to be fixed (I.e. fire extinguisher to fire; wrench to leak; vacuum to dirt pile) I haven’t gotten to the kitchen but so far no other room has had anything like that. Now I can’t give more than 2 stars for game play.. I’m on level 76 and it’s getting to the point where you have to p2p or get lucky on how the tiles fall.. One level required to collect 50 yellow tiles, yet no yellow tiles were falling.. Next level I make one swipe and a color ball and a few fireworks were created and I beat the level in like 6 swipes. Then the stars are ridiculous.. 1 star for level, 2 stars to bathe the cat. 1 star for level, 1 star to check mailbox. 1 star to for level, 3 stars to pickup trash in yard. Like what the heck were they thinking with this game. Where’s the game you had advertised? How does this game have 5 star rating?
This game is amazing 😉
by Memyshevy on 2018/12/08 23:34
I would really recommend to younger and older kids and adults to download this game because this game is amazing but some Times it can get a little frustrating and confusing but overall this game is fun and can you play levels to win so you can change out furniture and get farther in the mansion you can change the living room the bedroom the bathroom and a bunch other rooms you can pick out your own furniture and do you other things you can have friends too and see what they picked out another mention looks like they also have Games like a boardgame yes do you mean levels to move along the board game they have a car racing game same thing you have to win level so you can move your car to win so I think this game is really amazing and I think they’re adults and younger kids and older kids should this game. Thank you for reading this and I hope you download the game. 🤗🙂
I understand the haters but...
by Tikkyz84 on 2018/02/10 05:13
I was reading the reviews and I decided to write one too, partly to kind of defend the game. I absolutely understand the frustration regarding the “unnecessary” tasks we need to complete to move forward with the story, especially when you need 2-3 stars to complete them. It IS really annoying. But... For those of you who are complaining that you can’t get through level 50 or level 75: I’m at level 324!!! Don’t be so impatient and stop whining. You spending money on the game because you don’t have the patience to beat it with what you have collected already, that’s your decision. Don’t blame the developers. Do I think some of the levels are impossible? Yes. Do I play some of the boards for days? Yes. But I’ve never spent a single cent on buying power ups or life or extra moves. It takes patience but eventually all the boards can be beat. Yes, sometimes it’s annoying that I can’t decorate or refurbish anything for days but then I get to a task that needs an extra 12 hours to complete and in the meantime I can just keep playing and collect stars to quickly move forward when said task is done. The concept is just like any other match-3 games. Levels get harder and harder but at least this one has a cute little story with cute characters. Oh, and just to put it in perspective how none of these levels (and these games in general) are not impossible to beat: my husband is at level 1200+ in Candy Crush... enough said.
Too hard
by zeeva22 on 2019/01/02 16:28
First want to say that this is a great game in concept. I love both aspects, the decorating of the mansion and the arcade side. However like all previous reviews, the frustration is that it is getting ridiculously too hard. I’m willing to spend a little money on the game but you have to be more generous. I don’t have enough lives nor do I have enough power ups and when I do I only win one star. Very frustrating and unlike most other games. In order to engage and keep your target audience for the playing of this game You have to address that if you’re willing to spend some money on the game you have to give more. I’m hoping that this is something you’re working on. I read your previous responses to reviews concerning the same scenario and it does not appear that you have addressed this issue. I really like the game I would like to continue playing but I am too frustrated at the moment with not getting anywhere. Only on the fourth room and it’s been a week. So many other rooms and I can’t get anywhere.
Just say “no”
by wehvgirlpwr on 2018/11/28 22:31
I JUST DELETED THIS GAME! So I started out liking this game and then as I got higher in the levels, I started to be so frustrated. There are levels that can’t be completed in just one turn unless you stay on the same level for hours and days. You charge 500 coins for extra moves yet you provide scant coins when completing a level so the only way to get more coins quickly is to purchase them. This makes the game frustrating and not fun anymore. Also, requiring players to use coins to teach a cat “tricks” is just stupid. What does this have to do with decorating a mansion. The other frustration is having to wait for a project to finish(bookcase, doghouse, etc...)before moving on, sometimes over 12 hours unless, again, you want to pay to finish it early. Decorating the mansion was fun but I’m done. You’ll get no more money from me as this is a free country and there are hundreds of games to play, not just yours. After reading other complaints of the same issue, the developers seem resistant to listening. I have my own cat and dog to play with, I don’t need computer fakes.
Starting to really dislike!!!
by Dembubbles on 2018/11/30 04:33
The game was fun at first, now it’s very frustrating! You earn little to no coins when you beat a level, earn only 1 star even when the level is very difficult, and you have to spend a lot of stars on unnecessary tasks...I should not have to spend 1 star to call a person, another star to greet them, then another star to ask them to do whatever they came over to do, then 3 stars to actually start the job. The count down for a life is too long of a wait! The levels say I used my power ups, even though I did not choose them before starting the level and they did not show up in the level, but the number seems to decrease every level as if I’m using them! The tasks of using so many stars to buy the cat a toy, teach the cat a trick, give it a bath, feed it is really unnecessary! I got this game because the ad showed a video of fixing things in the kitchen and decorating, not earning stars playing a stingy candy crush game and using all my hard earned stars on just inviting someone to come over and greeting them at the door!!
Let’s see how long this last...
by 💜Tiff❤️ on 2017/12/24 14:54
I have been playing this game for a while and like most reviews have stated, it was fun in the beginning. After reaching a certain level, it becomes extremely difficult to pass. I hadn’t played it in a while because of the difficulty and frustration it caused. For me, playing games on my cell is my relaxation time, not a time to get upset. I played today with intentions of deleting it if I could not beat this particular level that I had been stuck on. So far, I have passed a few levels and I am hoping it last. I feel the developers are taking the advice of the players. I am giving a 4 star with hopes changes have been made and that the developers have gotten over their greed for our money. After a few more levels, if the extreme difficulty has ceased I will give 5 stars. If I see the greed and difficulty has continued I will give a 1 star rating and then delete the game. Let’s see how long this lasts...
Love the game except for??
by Rwicked1 on 2018/11/23 16:07
Love the game except we shouldn’t have to get to level 2805 level to get to the island I mean boy that’s a lot of levels and I’ve Bn playing this game a very lonnnnnnng time and not even a thousand yet lol lol come on lol and I feel we shouldn’t have to play like each thing she has to do like look at collar or answer door come on lol it takes forever to get to a new room. And we should get more power ups more easy. Some levels are hard and u can’t get pass them without a power up lol. I’ve bought many packs. Love the game I’m addicted lol lol. Wish we could chat with our friends though. And not have to use our coins to decorate.. again PLEASEEEEE GIVE US FREEEEE POWER UPS after each level. That would b cool and more coins instead of just 20 or 30 takes forever to get them up. Lol lol lol otherwise loooooooove the game. Keep up good work. Oh and power ups shouldn’t cost so dang much either ..
Idling task.
by ApplePlumPlum on 2018/11/24 18:18
First time writing a review for anything. But this is mainly for the creators that the people who want to play. I downloaded this game mainly because I like to decorate and I thought it would incorporate the game and decor together. However you missed the point completely by wasting stars on reading a book by the fire, finding a different book, talking to different characters. These tedious task definitely deterred me from playing another. Especially if it took 200 levels just to complete three rooms. As well as the point and reward system is a bit odd. It doesn’t guarantee satisfaction after getting all the power ups only to get one coin. I get you guys are trying to create a story line but playing with a cat and reading book isn’t it. Maybe if the book held more information or history of the mansion or something more imperative to that of the game. If you guys can add more levels out the whim you should redevelop the story along with the design. I’ll come back to it if it updates. Hope this helps.
Great Potential Wasted
by Txnikster on 2018/12/22 14:17
When I started playing this game, it quickly became my favorite. As I advanced through the levels, they became more challenging which I expected. I didn’t expect to be stuck on levels for days and sometimes weeks. And I didn’t expect to waste time and stars on useless tasks. Even with all this I kept coming back to play it because I enjoyed the game and decorating. Unfortunately, I have reached the end of my patience with the game. I’m on level 337 and I’ve been decorating the yard/grounds for a ridiculous amount of time and levels. I joined the game to decorate the mansion. I understand that the yard is part of a home; however, I had the opportunity to finish 4 rooms and have been stuck outside ever since. At this point, it feels like a waste of time and I don’t see a map anywhere that tells me how long I have to tolerate the outside activities until I can get back inside to decorate rooms. It’s unfortunate because this game was enjoyable and had so much potential.
Many Great Things! But...
by Cbdrum1 on 2018/07/08 01:57
I really love this game. I really think it's better than Homescapes, Gardenscapes, etc. But, I feel like adding it changing a few things may make it a lot better. For one thing, I think it would be nice if you could use coins to skip a level but still get the star. I feel like this could be a good idea because: 1. This is a good way for the creators to make money 2. Some people complain that they are stuck on one level for DAYS, and then delete the game because the levels are "impossible" and would keep the game. 3. This is a good way to reduce the players' stress when they can't beat a level and are getting quite frustrated on the levels. I also think that adding "parts" to tasks is just annoying, because some tasks 5 or 6 stars just to do something like read a journal. In addition, I think it would be smart to add the 500 coins for $1.99, because as a player, I don't need 750 coins to get 5 more moves on a level. It gets a little annoying when I have to spend an extra $1.00 for 250 coins that I don't need. I did do the 500 coins when I really needed it, but now I don't spend my money on this game. I really love this game, but I truly think that those few things would make the game a whole lot better, keep more players, and just make people happier overall! Thanks for taking your time to read this, and have a fantastic day!
Fix this game
by SparklyUnicorn117 on 2018/01/21 15:09
At first this game was fun but when I got into it it got very challenging. I spent around a week and a half on one level. And when I finally beat it all we were doing was jumping on a bed? It was stupid. I think this game has potential but it is far from perfect. And I mean FAR from perfect. The levels get harder as you go and I deleted it when I got to level 97. It was hard and it would take me weeks just to beat one level. If you guys could just make the levels easier than it is right now I would play this game all the time. I love the story line but if they did some improvements it would be even better. I came here from homescapes hoping it was better. It wasn’t. It was the same thing. When I get to a certain level it gets impossible to beat. I wanted to decorate a mansion but what did I get? A stupid game that gets impossible really quickly. The people of this game just look at the reviews and does nothing about it. My suggestion: fix this game

Very disappointed.

by Need more free stars on 2019/02/16 01:30

by NightWhoSayKni on 2019/02/16 00:03
I downloaded this game from an in-game advertisement.

I have yet to get to the part the preview showed as to why I selected the game and sometimes when you go to select your choices the number of stars you have to have is definitely not worth it and then the item ends up being 1 of 3 but it doesn’t say that when the task shows up for the first time.

by 1 mama 2hi on 2019/02/15 20:46
I have just started your game and find it enjoyable. I have given only two stars because you have too much dialogue and it does not, as yet, involve games that you have in your preview ad that I watched for weeks on my other games until I decided to try it. I will give it a little more time and hope that I arrive at those interesting games I saw on previews soon.

by lgdix on 2019/02/15 20:03
The 1.35.2 update just showed up on iTunes today. I

Problem

This game has too much hanging and freezing!!! It doesn’t work!
Loving it.

by Massa Jo on 2019/02/15 07:52
Update: after my 30th failed attempt on level 81, downgrading to 1 star.

Just another version of candy crush.

by Serenitycircle on 2019/02/15 03:43

Needs more stars per game.
by KimmyGFunk on 2019/02/15 03:30
Levels too difficult for only receiving 1 star. Takes way too long to decorate anything. 🙄 Love the game but wish you received more stars per level. Or each task required less stars.
Ads for this on other sites are too much
by xrae00 on 2019/02/15 03:29

Hope it helps.

by Tianz1 on 2019/02/15 02:21
I rated it one star because of how slick the ad maker thought they were.

I really love this game! I love the graphics, and the colors. But it’s kinda hard in earning money. Every level’s coins are just in small quantities. Also, can you add a “tap to skip” button? Thanks!
Too expensive
by gtripp3 on 2019/02/15 01:04
This game may be fun, but it is way too expensive to play. You have to buy coins in the game just in order to keep playing. Don’t waste your time or money on this game.

by Emochix96 on 2019/02/14 23:25
I downloaded this game because I saw an ad from another game showing a kitchen with water spraying everywhere, you had to fix the stuff with tools and other various things you’d find around a house... it never said anything about a candy crush wanna be game that takes forever to get through for one little decoration.

The ad I saw for this game was not even close to how this game it actually played.

by mixmaker on 2019/02/14 20:57
I bought the game thinking it was much different, it looked like you had to solve puzzles to fix items in the mansion but nope it basically yet another candy crush type of game.

Tooooo slow

Fun but...
by 082720-7:6100/7363-0 on 2019/01/11 05:07
I really like the idea of the game but as some of the reviewers in the past have said, it’s waaaaaaaaay too slow to be interesting.
Could be great, but...
by JediKKnight on 2018/04/04 11:47
Overall I have been enjoying the game, but the levels are getting too hard.

This game doesn't seem to receive any developer support at all.

by Ye Old Gamer on 2018/11/05 16:30
I really like the basic story line and I’m sure it will be fleshed out as the game moves forward.

Mystery

But...
