This app is very useful especially for people that can’t or that don’t want to upgrade and some might even say it’s better than the iPhone X, 7,8 (ext.) but yeah overall the app is great and it is very good quality for free??👍🏽👍🏽 recommended👍🏽.

This app literally does nothing unless you pay. Just some odd pink lines of where the effects would go if you pay. I mean seriously....give me something so I can determine if the paid version would be worth it. Would give zero stars if I could. Deleted immediately.

Works well, but the free version leaves a watermark for advertising the product in the corner of your image. Also there are advertisements when you save the image. But the application itself works as intended to blur your background.

Pretty simple to use once you figure it out. (Not difficult to figure out at all) The only thing I don’t care for is the app logo pasted in the corner. It’s pretty big. I think if you pay for it, it will go away. But I just take pictures I know I’ll use this app with and add more to the picture and crop it out later with the editing app that comes with the phone.

I used to love using this app until I just noticed that, zoomed in, the finished photo from this app is much more pixelated than the original. So it’s good for iPhone photos if you never zoom in.

It took me a minute to figure out how this app works, I’d like to recommend the developers add a basic tutorial. Here’s how you use it: Tap the portrait icon and start tracing the parts you don’t want blurred. The subject will turn pink as you paint it. You can erase what you don’t want with the eraser icon. Then just adjust as you like! Super fun and worth the money if you don’t want the adds or watermark. Now I can post great photos without spending tons of money on a new iPhone 7. Thank you to the developers of this app 🙌

If you want an app that's easy to use and blurs the background then I recommend this. It's easy to use and it blends VERY WELL. I'm shook why it took me this long to find the "perfect app" when this one is just right here. I give this a 4 star, BUT I think this app would deserve a 5 if it had a variety amount of filters. OVERALL, if you just want a blurry background, THIS IS RECOMMENDED!

My experience with this app was great. In the beginning there was a few problems here or there, but nothing bad. I just didn’t exactly know how to use the app because my iPhone doesn’t have Portrait on “camera”. So at first it was hard to find out where the blurry background was supposed to be. My favorite part about this app is whatever u want to not be blurry, u got to color it in. I’m sort of into art and I like coloring. It also gives u the options👍 that’s good too! I gave this app 5 stars ⭐️ it’s probably my best editing app I have! And on Instagram I take pictures of my friends and turn them into portraits... they love it. And I ya the app to color in there face or body and boom!💥 My work here is done. I recommend this app for editing pictures of people💞 ~me

It’s hard to use the pinky red squiggly line to cover the object you don’t want to get blurred. It’s difficult to get the very edge of the object other than that is amazing I did a picture on my iPhone 8 Plus and compared it to this one and you can blur it more on the app than on the actual phone and yeah it’s petty amazing what it can and can’t do buy it!!!! -p.s. LOVE IT ❤️

The depth tool is easy to use and works well. The thickness of your masking stroke & erasability of errors is all easy to adjust, as well. At a $2 minimum for real usability (to remove the watermark & after-photo ads) it's not badly priced, and compares as a paired down version of the tool, if you don't want the sometimes unnecessary bells & whistles of similar apps. I considered giving it a 3 star rating, after being a little peeved on the ads, but felt it did what it claimed, and did it well, so what's there to complain about? If all you want is a Portrait depth tool, and you don't mind paying the two bucks, it's a solid buy.
***note - in-app purchases don't seem to be accessible yet. Pretty new app, so I'm guessing they'll be available soon.

I wanted a cheaper portrait mode alternative other than buying an iPhone 7. And I did not want to spend money for another camera app that I wouldn't use. It took me maybe 2 minutes to figure out how to cover up the subject of the portrait in order to blur out the rest of the picture. Almost intuitive but not quite. Still the effects are amazing and I am very impressed with this app. Even though the free version gives me everything I need, I am still going to spend the two dollars for the premium version, if only to support the developers of this amazing app. I am a career coach and I am going to recommend this app to all of my clients who use selfies of themselves in their car with their seatbelt on as their LinkedIn profile photo. Now there is no excuse not to have an amazing profile photo by using this app.

Pretty easy to use, i upgraded to be able to zoom in and remove the app logo which was free. I saved the picture to my camera roll and when you zoom in got pixelated so yes it’s clear but comparing the original photo to the new photo it got very pixelated, if they fixed that as far as saving the photo to camera which the same quality from my iPhone , 5stars easy

I’ve been looking at buying a new phone to have portrait mode as an option (I’m using an iPhone 7) and this app is allowing me to make the same pictures without the upgrade. There’s apps like it that cost money for the same experience and overall this one is extremely easy to use and figure out and I’ve already used it a little for pictures of my dogs. 10/10 would give it a try if you’re interested in customizing your pictures

Definitely took me a few minutes to figure out, but now that I have figured it out, it’s absolutely amazing!!!! I’m the artistic type who wants to make sure all of her projects are clean and pretty, so with this app I’m extremely tideous. However, it’s a good thing because my photos turn out spectacular. I would definitely recommend😁
-if you happen to be having trouble with how to operate, here is how I figured it out:
•tap the pink person figure and draw on what you want to have stand out from the blur.
• select different brush sized to get a nice outline of what is going to stand out.
• Tap the raindrop symbol and select the intensity of the blur.
You can always go back and erase, and even select the thickness of the eraser.

At first it was kinda strange how it did not have instructions, but after taking the time to use it on some test photos... i have made some masterpieces 😁

I was sad when I found out that the iPhone 7+ had the portrait mode because I already had the iPhone 7 so I couldn't get it. But this app made it possible to have that mode without paying extra money for a new phone!! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone else with a different phone, but I am a bit annoyed by the watermark.

I thought this app would randomly generate what it thought would be best to add this depth effect to, but I was wrong. It works beautifully and makes your pictures look as if they were professional. Would definitely recommend if you like to take impromptu pictures of scenery or selfies in which depth effect would look great. Amazing app.

The free version is a bit annoying because you can't zoom in and it sticks a huge watermark on the bottom. It's time consuming but the results have been pretty spectacular. If you can't afford an iPhone 7+ or better, this could be the way to go. Am considering buying paid version but trying out a few more apps before I do.

Pretty good! Don't like how it gives you the watermark, wish they didn't have it. It would be so much better. Because of that u wouldn't really recommend if you want to keep the photo or post it. Otherwise if you want to pay money, (which you probably don't), then you can take away the watermark. Other than that it works really good!

This app is amazing, and I found it kinda weird hat it does not come with instructions, but you have to use the pink stuff to out line what you DONT want blurred, then use the water droplet icon to select how blurred you want the rest to be. The only thing I don’t like is the water mark. I suggest removing the water mark all together when you get the app. Other wise it’s amazing!

This app took me about 2 mins to figure out. Basically ur able to blur out the background and it doesn’t leave a bad outline around the figure u want to show. Def worth it. It costs nothing at all. The only thing is that it leaves a watermark but what can u do. But overall an amazing app and I’m impressed.

This app is easy to use, but it does take some time to color in the areas you do not want blurred. I like the fact it is very simple and does not give me a lot of options due to the fact that I don't know what I'm doing. If you like something very simple and very easy to use, I suggest you at least try it out.

I find this app very fun and creative to adjust pictures after taken. You can play around with the amount of blur effect from subtle to full blown out of focus. You can even create a reverse bokeh making the image in the distance in focus with the close up blurry.

This app makes it so that you can have a portrait photo like brand new iPhones. It’s easy to be very precise and has great outcomes! You can change the amount of blurr and what you want to be the main object. The slightest problem is that the more blurr it is, it’ll make your outline bigger then you set it as, but it’s easy to fix.

I'm currently taking a photography class, and each assignment has certain criteria. This depth camera has helped me complete many an assignment I wouldn't have otherwise been able to complete with the basic camera. Thanks, developers!

This is a good app but the only thing I don’t like is the quality of the blur is kinda bad and I also don’t like the way they put there logo in the Conner because it blocks stuff that I want in the picture but you should make a update where you make different kind of blur and fine tools.

Works well, but the free version leaves a watermark for advertising the product in the corner of your image. Also there are advertisements when you save the image. But the application itself works as intended to blur your background.

This app is amazing!! All you have to do is use the brush thing and go over your face with purple and then go to the droplet next to it and it works amazing! I would definitely recommend this it is totally free and don’t bother having to get a new phone for the portrait mode😀👌

There’s not really a tutorial, but it’s easy enough to figure out. I love how easy it is to use, after you figure it out and how simple it is to backtrack and try something else and look at it again.

If you don't want to get an iPhone 7 plus, this is a great app to use to get the Depth Effect, also known as Portrait Mode. I wasn't expecting something this great. My pictures now look a billion times more professional and are fabulous!! xx

I miss the days when everything didn’t have ads, but I have very much enjoyed this app. You can make all your non-portrait-mode photos have that portrait effect of you want, and that’s very handy for me.

I love this app but after every single time I am done with a photo it has an add and won’t bring a closing “x” to click it away, it makes you watch entire advertisement and it always freezes during editing and turns off and losing my work.... it these two things get fixed then it would be the PERFECT app!

It's pretty good so far! I'm impressed! Although it does have a problem with closing out when I'm in the middle of drawing out the blank part and I have to start all over 😩 but other than that, I'm impressed! Definitely going to use this for my modeling career!

I use iPhone 7 Plus, and I love photography, with Portrait I can take great pictures with front camera, otherwise I would have to spend $1000 in an iPhone X just for front camera portrait, I would give five stars if we can add round shape bokeh effect seen in DSLR . Great app

Really simple and easy to use but it puts a mark on the bottom of the picture and I had to crop it out and I didn’t like that so I found a different app that doesn’t mark the photo

If their watermark were not to be so large and on every pic that you edit with it, it would've been a decent app. Fairly easy to use and good results. But the large water mark covers your own signature on a photo and just looks bad. Also way too many ads that pop up every 5 seconds! Uninstalling.

I have a iPhone 6s+ and I love portrait mode. I don’t feel like spending $700+ for a iPhone 7 8 or X. This app is the savior of my photos. It’s easy to work and it slays your photos better than portrait on the iPhones 7 8 and X. Straight facts 🤟🏾🤟🏾

Easy to use and great effect of background blurring. One minor issue if not perfect. If the extent of blurring is high, the portrait will have a "corona" from background as well, which you do not expect because you want the portrait as sharp as possible.

This app literally does nothing unless you pay. Just some odd pink lines of where the effects would go if you pay. I mean seriously....give me something so I can determine if the paid version would be worth it. Would give zero stars if I could. Deleted immediately.

Pretty simple to use once you figure it out. (Not difficult to figure out at all) The only thing I don’t care for is the app logo pasted in the corner. It’s pretty big. I think if you pay for it, it will go away. But I just take pictures I know I’ll use this app with and add more to the picture and crop it out later with the editing app that comes with the phone.

I used to love using this app until I just noticed that, zoomed in, the finished photo from this app is much more pixelated than the original. So it’s good for iPhone photos if you never zoom in.

It took me a minute to figure out how this app works, I’d like to recommend the developers add a basic tutorial. Here’s how you use it: Tap the portrait icon and start tracing the parts you don’t want blurred. The subject will turn pink as you paint it. You can erase what you don’t want with the eraser icon. Then just adjust as you like! Super fun and worth the money if you don’t want the adds or watermark. Now I can post great photos without spending tons of money on a new iPhone 7. Thank you to the developers of this app 🙌

If you want an app that's easy to use and blurs the background then I recommend this. It's easy to use and it blends VERY WELL. I'm shook why it took me this long to find the "perfect app" when this one is just right here. I give this a 4 star, BUT I think this app would deserve a 5 if it had a variety amount of filters. OVERALL, if you just want a blurry background, THIS IS RECOMMENDED!

My experience with this app was great. In the beginning there was a few problems here or there, but nothing bad. I just didn’t exactly know how to use the app because my iPhone doesn’t have Portrait on “camera”. So at first it was hard to find out where the blurry background was supposed to be. My favorite part about this app is whatever u want to not be blurry, u got to color it in. I’m sort of into art and I like coloring. It also gives u the options👍 that’s good too! I gave this app 5 stars ⭐️ it’s probably my best editing app I have! And on Instagram I take pictures of my friends and turn them into portraits... they love it. It’s hard to use the pinky red squiggly line to cover the object you don’t want to get blurred. It’s difficult to get the very edge of the object other than that is amazing I did a picture on my iPhone 8 Plus and compared it to this one and you can blur it more on the app than on the actual phone and yeah it’s petty amazing what it can and can’t do buy it!!!! -p.s. LOVE IT ❤️

The depth tool is easy to use and works well. The thickness of your masking stroke & erasability of errors is all easy to adjust, as well. At a $2 minimum for real usability (to remove the watermark & after-photo ads) it's not badly priced, and compares as a paired down version of the tool, if you don't want the sometimes unnecessary bells & whistles of similar apps. I considered giving it a 3 star rating, after being a little peeved on the ads, but felt it did what it claimed, and did it well, so what's there to complain about? If all you want is a Portrait depth tool, and you don't mind paying the two bucks, it's a solid buy.
***note - in-app purchases don't seem to be accessible yet. Pretty new app, so I'm guessing they'll be available soon.

I wanted a cheaper portrait mode alternative other than buying an iPhone 7. And I did not want to spend money for another camera app that I wouldn't use. It took me maybe 2 minutes to figure out how to cover up the subject of the portrait in order to blur out the rest of the picture. Almost intuitive but not quite. Still the effects are amazing and I am very impressed with this app. Even though the free version gives me everything I need, I am still going to spend the two dollars for the premium version, if only to support the developers of this amazing app. I am a career coach and I am going to recommend this app to all of my clients who use selfies of themselves in their car with their seatbelt on as their LinkedIn profile photo. Now there is no excuse not to have an amazing profile photo by using this app.

My experience with this app was great. In the beginning there was a few problems here or there, but nothing bad. I just didn’t exactly know how to use the app because my iPhone doesn’t have Portrait on “camera”. So at first it was hard to find out where the blurry background was supposed to be. My favorite part about this app is whatever u want to not be blurry, u got to color it in. I’m sort of into art and I like coloring. It also gives u the options👍 that’s good too! I gave this app 5 stars ⭐️ it’s probably my best editing app I have! And on Instagram I take pictures of my friends and turn them into portraits... they love it. And I ya the app to color in there face or body and boom!💥 My work here is done. I recommend this app for editing pictures of people💞 ~me

Pretty easy to use, i upgraded to be able to zoom in and remove the app logo which was free. I saved the picture to my camera roll and when you zoom in got pixelated so yes it’s clear but comparing the original photo to the new photo it got very pixelated, if they fixed that as far as saving the photo to camera which the same quality from my iPhone , 5stars easy

It took me a minute to figure out how this app works, I’d like to recommend the developers add a basic tutorial. Here’s how you use it: Tap the portrait icon and start tracing the parts you don’t want blurred. The subject will turn pink as you paint it. You can erase what you don’t want with the eraser icon. Then just adjust as you like! Super fun and worth the money if you don’t want the adds or watermark. Now I can post great photos without spending tons of money on a new iPhone 7. Thank you to the developers of this app 🙌

I’ve been looking at buying a new phone to have portrait mode as an option (I’m using an iPhone 7) and this app is allowing me to make the same pictures without the upgrade. There’s apps like it that cost money for the same experience and overall this one is extremely easy to use and figure out and I’ve already used it a little for pictures of my dogs. 10/10 would give it a try if you’re interested in customizing your pictures

Definitely took me a few minutes to figure out, but now that I have figured it out, it’s absolutely amazing!!!! I’m the artistic type who wants to make sure all of her projects are clean and pretty, so with this app I’m extremely tideous. However, it’s a good thing because my photos turn out spectacular. I would definitely recommend😁
-if you happen to be having trouble with how to operate, here is how I figured it out:
•tap the pink person figure and draw on what you want to have stand out from the blur.
• select different brush sized to get a nice outline of what is going to stand out.
• Tap the raindrop symbol and select the intensity of the blur.
You can always go back and erase, and even select the thickness of the eraser.

Love how you can adjust the intensity of the blur and the ease of use.
At first it was kinda strange how it did not have instructions, but after taking the time to use it on some test photos... i have made some masterpieces 😁

I was sad when I found out that the iPhone 7+ had the portrait mode because I already had the iPhone 7 so I couldn't get it. But this app made it possible to have that mode without paying extra money for a new phone!! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone else with a different phone, but I am a bit annoyed by the watermark.

It’s hard to use the pinky red squiggly line to cover the object you don’t want to get blurred. It’s difficult to get the very edge of the object other than that is amazing I did a picture on my iPhone 8 Plus and compared it to this one and you can blur it more on the app than on the actual phone and yeah it’s petty amazing what it can and can’t do buy it!!!! -p.s. LOVE IT ❤️

Pretty simple to use once you figure it out. (Not difficult to figure out at all) The only thing I don’t care for is the app logo pasted in the corner. It’s pretty big. I think if you pay for it, it will go away. But I just take pictures I know I’ll use this app with and add more to the picture and crop it out later with the editing app that comes with the phone.

I thought this app would randomly generate what it thought would be best to add this depth effect to, but I was wrong. It works beautifully and makes your pictures look as if they were professional. Would definitely recommend if you like to take impromptu pictures of scenery or selfies in which depth effect would look great. Amazing app.

If you want an app that's easy to use and blurs the background then I recommend this. It's easy to use and it blends VERY WELL. I'm shook why it took me this long to find the "perfect app" when this one is just right here. I give this a 4 star, BUT I think this app would deserve a 5 if it had a variety amount of filters. OVERALL, if you just want a blurry background, THIS IS RECOMMENDED!

The free version is a bit annoying because you can't zoom in and it sticks a huge watermark on the bottom. It's time consuming but the results have been pretty spectacular. If you can't afford an iPhone 7+ or better, this could be the way to go. Am considering buying paid version but trying out a few more apps before I do.

Pretty good! Don't like how it gives you the watermark, wish they didn't have it. It would be so much better. Because of that u wouldn't really recommend if you want to keep the photo or post it. Otherwise if you want to pay money, (which you probably don't), then you can take away the watermark. Other than that it works really good!

This app is amazing, and I found it kinda weird hat it does not come with instructions, but you have to use the pink stuff to out line what you DONT want blurred, then use the water droplet icon to select how blurred you want the rest to be. The only thing I don’t like is the water mark. I suggest removing the water mark all together when you get the app. Other wise it’s amazing!

This app took me about 2 mins to figure out. Basically ur able to blur out the background and it doesn’t leave a bad outline around the figure u want to show. Def worth it. It costs nothing at all. The only thing is that it leaves a watermark but what can u do. But overall an amazing app and I’m impressed.

This app is easy to use, but it does take some time to color in the areas you do not want blurred. I like the fact it is very simple and does not give me a lot of options due to the fact that I don't know what I'm doing. If you like something very simple and very easy to use, I suggest you at least try it out.

I find this app very fun and creative to adjust pictures after taken. You can play around with the amount of blur effect from subtle to full blown out of focus. You can even create a reverse bokeh making the image in the distance in focus with the close up blurry.

This app makes it so that you can have a portrait photo like brand new iPhones. It’s easy to be very precise and has great outcomes! You can change the amount of blurr and what you want to be the main object. The slightest problem is that the more blurr it is, it’ll make your outline bigger then you set it as, but it’s easy to fix.

Best portrait app that I have used! Don't try other apps. If you want the exact depth effect that an iPhone 7 Plus has, I highly recommend downloading this app! The blur background has great quality! I'm so glad I didn't invest in getting the iPhone 7 Plus! Thanks to this app!

This is a good app but the only thing I don’t like is the quality of the blur is kinda bad and I also don’t like the way they put there logo in the Conner because it blocks stuff that I want in the picture but you should make a update where you make different kind of blur and fine tools.

Works well, but the free version leaves a watermark for advertising the product in the corner of your image. Also there are advertisements when you save the image. But the application itself works as intended to blur your background.

This app is amazing!! All you have to do is use the brush thing and go over your face with purple and then go to the droplet next to it and it works amazing! I would definitely recommend this it is totally free and don’t bother having to get a new phone for the portrait mode😀👌

There’s not really a tutorial, but it’s easy enough to figure out. I love how easy it is to use, after you figure it out and how simple it is to backtrack and try something else and look at it again.

If you don't want to get an iPhone 7 plus, this is a great app to use to get the Depth Effect, also known as Portrait Mode. I wasn't expecting something this great. My pictures now look a billion times more professional and are fabulous!! xx

I love this app but after every single time I am done with a photo it has an add and won’t bring a closing “x” to click it away, it makes you watch entire advertisement and it always freezes during editing and turns off and losing my work.... it these two things get fixed then it would be the PERFECT app!

It's pretty good so far! I'm impressed! Although it does have a problem with closing out when I'm in the middle of drawing out the blank part and I have to start all over 😩 but other than that, I'm impressed! Definitely going to use this for my modeling career!

I use iPhone 7 Plus, and I love photography, with Portrait I can take great pictures with front camera, otherwise I would have to spend $1000 in an iPhone X just for front camera portrait, I would give five stars if we can add round shape bokeh effect seen in DSLR . Great app

Really simple and easy to use but it puts a mark on the bottom of the picture and I had to crop it out and I didn’t like that so I found a different app that doesn’t mark the photo

If their watermark were not to be so large and on every pic that you edit with it, it would've been a decent app. Fairly easy to use and good results. But the large water mark covers your own signature on a photo and just looks bad. Also way too many ads that pop up every 5 seconds! Uninstalling.

Easy to use and great effect of background blurring. One minor issue if not perfect. If the extent of blurring is high, the portrait will have a "corona" from background as well, which you do not expect because you want the portrait as sharp as possible.
