I Can’t Find a Save link
by Skinny crisps on 2019/12/12 05:08
I love this app and it mostly works perfectly for my needs, but I can’t see how to get to the save link to save a project and go back to it after I work on another project. I think I saw it two times but now I can’t find it.Also how can I create a shadow under or to the side of an object? Thank you, Myrna
Dumbed down version of Enlight
by bloody stool on 2019/12/11 13:40
Really appreciated the skew and refit tools for architectural rendering in the original. Presuming the transform tool is intended to replace. It is hamfisted, not nearly as subtle as the original tools could be. The collage tool is gone. That was really handy for before/after pictures. The plethora of new filters are pretty cheesy and for the most part available in lesser apps. I appreciate the need to expand your app to a bigger market and adding more bells and whistles would do that and the learning curve was high for the original app but the elimination of so many tools on this version is disappointing. Especially for the money.
Terrible bate and switch app
by shaseiful on 2019/12/11 12:13
I purchased the enlighten app and paid a lot of money for it only to have them switch it from the one time purchase app to a ridiculously monthly subscription right after I purchased it. They said the offered on a one year free! But I have yet to be able to get that to work. I would never buy anything from a company that has such unethical business practices! Very POOR customer service! Pass this app - not worth the money!
Monumental App - All of them!
by Petsugar on 2019/12/11 02:51
I can’t say enough! Every single app by this company is astounding. My art has evolved because of it. Thank you!!! Keep up the incredible work.
Good App❤️
by emmet3o on 2019/12/10 19:32
I love this app! There are so many different things you can do with it!! But I do wish that there wasn’t so much premium stuff that you have to pay for. Like half of the really cool effects are premium! And that’s why I gave this app four stars.
Absolute rip off!
by MacMep2479 on 2019/12/09 03:51
I paid for this app years ago and had all the functions. Then they split it into several different apps and are charging monthly fees to use it... So much for having “Purchased” it.
DO NOT GET THIS APP! Impossible to cancel
by Korismartysmart on 2019/12/08 16:57
I subscribed to this app and it took three months to cancel it. Each month I had to call apple directly to have them cancel it, and yet the subscription kept on charging my account. They are, quite simply, operating illegally. I have a screen shot of 2 separate months where it said “expired subscription” on my subscription file on my phone, while receiving a simultaneous bill saying “renewed subscription” on my billing invoice. I had to call Apple ID people, and both times they said that because it said “expires on —— date” it will automatically cancel. This is false because each month I would get a receipt where it says “renews on —— date”. This process was infuriating and after three months of this in a row, I finally spent 45 minutes with a supervisor at APPLE ID to cancel it manually. A few cool pictures are NOT worth the trouble.
Original Enlight App
by 501carder on 2019/12/08 07:08
Please keep the original Enlight app. It’s super user friendly and perfect for fast edits/on-the-go touch ups. I really do not like the new Enlight apps, It isn’t easy to navigate and to use more features you have to pay a lot more. The original Enlight app has been my “go to” almost every week for my art edits. I rave about it and tell every artist/photographer about it.
Charged me twice! Can’t share across devices!
by Testu2 on 2019/12/07 04:05
I love this app, but It has charged me twice for premium. When I pay for premium it doesn’t actually update that I’ve paid & keeps asking me to pay for premium. And when I do a project on my iPad I can’t work on it on my iphone. The app doesn’t share to device’s & it doesn’t recognize that I’ve paid for premium on a different device. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for this payment & sharing issue.
Don’t buy into it.
by Allen Kirkland on 2019/12/07 01:49
I got enlight Photofox in 2014. I purchased their pro pack one time purchase that would include everything. Once they got popular and realized they’d get more out of a subscription. They couldn’t take away what I’d already purchased so they rewrote their software to make it to where I could never reset nor upgrade my device, without losing it. Thanks for nothing enlight. Hope something better never comes out. I use fused only now and they’ll get better. Anyone wanting to keep permanent photo editing for a one time price switch now. It works awesome with my 11promax.
Hey, I JUST purchased Enlight
by chegaro on 2019/12/04 18:00
I just purchased Enlight recently, and then I accidentally deleted it from my Ipad without wanting to. Now, I can find it NOWHERE on the App Store.... WHERE IS IT? I feel like I have just been ripped off, what gives? And what can be done about it? I’M TALKING TO YOU GUYS, THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM.... The VERY LEAST you guys could have done was leave the original app available on the App Store! Shame on you greedy guys! Horrible customer service. THIEVES.
I paid for Enlight
by antsofcourse on 2019/12/04 00:16
I paid for Enlight when it first came out. And now you discontinue it, create a new app & want me to pay again? No. That’s ludicrous.
Want to unsubscribe to application

Payed for app in 2017
by Fofo616 on 2019/12/02 23:17
I payed for the app in 2017 and now that i upgrade my phone they want me to subscribe what the heck is that crap. Im not happy at all
Streamlined but borrowed and overpriced
by goldenlotus12 on 2019/12/02 18:13
All of the filters here are already actions in photoshop; This is a set of recreated batch commands. And just like photoshop the subscription is a cash grab & purchasing it with a one-time payment makes sense if you don’t already have a pro art app. It’s a bit faster but that is the only difference of note which is not worth the price. I wish more developers would emphasize doing something because it is an aid to creativity not because it is a way to line their pockets.
Typing tool doesn’t work
by Alyisa.Z on 2019/12/01 17:45
I’ve had Enlight for about three years and never had a problem. Now all of the sudden when I go to put text on an image it won’t let me. I can type it out. But it won’t let me off that screen. It won’t let me actually apply it.
Older version (free) was the best.
by sugeepie on 2019/12/01 03:03
I won’t pay for thr newer versions as much as I loved the old . A Shame to see it go. It served every purpose I can imagine and I loved Manipulating my images. Now the program won’t load or work at all so bye bye Enlight.
So this is how you treat your previous customers?
by photodoode on 2019/11/30 21:50
Really disappointed that an app that I paid for in the past no longer works (constant crashes) and I am now forced to pony up again for a lesser quality app? The least you could have done, as other developers have, I offer new content for those who want to upgrade and allow the initial app that I paid for to continue to work as it always had. Nice cash grab. I’ve made a note of the developer name and will never buy one of your apps again. You have plenty of competitors out there, so I will shop elsewhere.
Please i can’t write letter on photo

by Ruby225 on 2019/11/29 02:03
Text no longer works. Instructions aren’t adequate at all!
No, I don’t want to upgrade. I want the app I PAID FOR to work.
by Atlblkz06 on 2019/11/27 05:54
The app crashes constantly and is useless. To add insult to injury, it keeps nagging me to upgrade after I paid for it. Turn that stupid reminder off!
Thank you!
by Lgblack123 on 2019/11/27 01:47
Thank you Enlight and Photofox Enlight, For the years of wonderful editing and photo editing that has given so much enjoyment to my family. Your app is the best. I was so glad you did not kick me off your app after I was diagnosed with cancer and the new app was developed. The Enlight app did not kick me off. I am truly grateful. I am on the recovery now and can change to your new app. Truly that was kind and classy. Classy just like your app.
One Suggestion
by Penny Ray on 2019/11/25 05:39
I absolutely love this app! The quality of content I create now compared to before is 100 times better. I do, though, have one minor suggestion: can you provide the ability to create project folders, so that I can produce several templates and organize them into one folder for each client and access them without having to scroll through the entire project list. Thanks for listening!
Subscription fee?
by Scottie55511 on 2019/11/24 10:25
Didn’t see the fee listed anywhere .... so we need to pay to use our own photos?
Terrible
by quinton makes pie on 2019/11/23 18:52
I had the original version of Enlight. I can no longer use it because I tried to update to Firefox and it ruined some abilities like add text. Then I uninstalled it thinking that might fix the problem since my 2 requests to the company didn’t help. My original app is no longer available in the App Store to re-install.
I paid for an app that disappeared....
by Whurree Uzumaki on 2019/11/23 15:00
Team, I was one of the first to pay for the Enlight App I would like to think anyway. I used it, became comfortable with it, and then it disappears from my iPhone and is replaced with this version of the app. That seems like a scam to me, and I feel like it will happen again in the future so why waste my money again. I didn’t pay for a subscription, but you still tried to sucker me into one with this approach. I might as well give Adobe or one of the other photo editing apps a try if I have to learn a new software. I’m disappointed in the fact that I’ve been ripped off after using and supporting the Enlight App for so long 😔 Best of luck
Classic bait and switch
by nicknam321 on 2019/11/23 13:10
This is a piss poor forced replacement of the previous enlight app which I had paid for. The previous version is gone and no longer available and what is in its place is a inferior app that does less and costs more. What a joke.
Upgrade
by Leonspace on 2019/11/22 10:16
Very good App. Been using for many purpose; the most important it work for non technical or graphic designer or no timer like me. I can’t use the App now because I was not able to press Done. Then, I decided to delete it and go to AppStore again. It asked to me to upgrade again on my one-time purchase. Why?
Miss the original app
by rinkydink productions on 2019/11/21 18:22
I have done a lot of artwork using Enlight in the years past and when I finally found the time to resume doing what I love I find my old Enlight app no longer works. Downloaded the new Photofox and it’s a dud. You know the old saying, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”? Y’all broke a good app 😡
Old Enlight was better
by MissIndependent58 on 2019/11/21 17:11
As many others have said, I was using Enlight religiously for several years and it worked perfectly for all of my needs. As minor as it is, it’s one of the only places I can intentionally invert colors as a filter. I downloaded the app again after maybe a few months of not using it only to find the UI changed so much I no longer knew where to access any features and the ones I needed were now listed as paid for features. Even if some features had been locked, I could have maybe swallowed that pill if it was the same familiar Enlight app that I had been using for years and knew my way around. However having to basically pay for a complete different app that doesn’t even fulfill my needs anymore? It’s not happening. I’ll find a different app if I must, but I deeply regret that I’ll no longer be able to use the familiar Enlight app I’ve been loyal to for years.
Terrible customer service
by Mandambrown on 2019/11/21 16:25
I purchased Enlight a while back. They are switching over to a subscription service app and are refusing to honor my original purchase. This new apps features are terrible. Not nearly as good as the last app. Very shady company.
THE ORIGINAL ENLIGHT WAS WAY BETTER!!!!!
by #OMG GIRL on 2019/11/21 02:07
I got Enlight a few years ago,and I LOVED it! I thought it was one of the best apps ever!!!! BUT the phone that I have has very little storage......and I needed to delete some apps for space.......and Enlight was one of those apps. I didn’t re-download it for a little while BUT when I did....IT WAS PHOTOFOX😡 this app DOES NOT even let me do collages or ANY OF THAT STUFF!!!! Nothing is supported by certain devices and everything needs an update to work. AND IT WONT EVEN LET ME UPDATE IT!!!!!! I LOVED Enlight, but I hate this “replacement” of it. If the people who created Enlight-or should I say-Photofox🤮 PLEASE GIVE US ENLIGHT BACK!!!THE ORIGINAL ENLIGHT!!!! Thank you for your time -Team Enlight
👍
by Rc Hacon on 2019/11/20 18:25
I am happy with Enlight Photofox. The tutorials provided opened up a whole new world of creative opportunities. I love the layers feature, and I am extremely impressed with the “quick edit” additions. I purchased the pro-version because I use all of the features, and there simply is no other app out there that offers this much power and complexity. There is a bit of a learning curve, but give it a chance. There are plenty of resources available to get you started. I definitely recommend checking out the Facebook group and tutorials.
The best app

Aggravated that I’m being forced to switch from Enlight OG
by Altair Abdul Khabir (Kyle) on 2019/11/20 00:49
I’m sure Enlight Photofox is great and all, but I enjoyed the original Enlight and back then I could just use it after paying $4.99 and that was that. Now they will be dropping support and removing it from the appstore so if i have to reset my phone I lose an app I paid $4.99 for and now like most developers in this age of micro transactions its subscription only so how is that a fair trade? If I’m being strongarmed to eventually upgrade then as a previously paid customer either the pro features should be free or at the bare minimum the subscription HEAVILY reduced. I love Lighttricks apps, don’t get me wrong, but I’m feeling a bit screwed over and gonna get ripped off for $4.99 in the end. If this is the common business practice these days there’s always more reasonable apps to switch to with a one time paid price. I get the whole “subscriptions incentivize new features” thing but what was included with enlight version 1 should be made available to users like me and any extra features I could buy in app as a add on...
When did this app stop being free??
by abvgthe on 2019/11/19 14:43
I’ve loved this app for two years now! I’ve been using the basic version (which was wonderful btw) and all of the sudden, when I’d go to save or export a photo after I put all the work into it, the app would close down completely; losing all of the work I’d just done! I finally had to uninstall then reinstall only to find out that NOW I HAVE to pay in order to use the app!! What happened!?
I hate it for now
by Mlozipod on 2019/11/19 11:41
This new enlight app is not better than the old one. There are some new things, but overall the old enlight was better. I liked how it used to be my all-in one editing tool. while trying to use Photofox the same way, it seems like a lot of features from the old enlight were left out which is very sad because this one costs more. I do say it is much easier to navigate the app though.
More than one item deleted
by Happystar2307 on 2019/11/19 03:25
So when I went to delete one of my terrible edits, I hit the delete item button, then the next thing I know, All of my edits deleted that I made, I am very upset because I didn’t save any of those and I was making some space for more edits, please find a way to get all of my edits back, if not that’s ok, I love the app and all, but I do not appreciate that it did that.
Won’t Stop Crashing
by SpartanDawg22 on 2019/11/19 03:10
I just started having this problem where I open up a photo go to add a feature like vignette and the app just crashes. I’ll try again on different features and it crashes. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Still didn’t work.

by Daynekk on 2019/11/15 11:48

Where are all the enlight features?
by Haleylioness on 2019/11/14 18:28
They said they were forcing us over to photofox and it would have all of enlights features and more yet there is no instafit that I used all of the time and no collage feature and the whole layout of photofox is so much more confusing...will be looking at new apps to use instead I guess with photofox being irritating to use and them shutting down enlight 🙄
enlight was MUCH better
by mm9019729 on 2019/11/14 01:08
enlight had more features and was more user friendly than photofox. with enlight, there was no subscription and you only had to pay once. yes there is a one time purchase on photofox, but not everyone can afford that and it’s just ridiculous. i recommend finding another editing app before looking into this one.
Why can’t I type text?

DEVS STOPPED SUPPORTING OLD APP (Way Not Cool)
by You're rut on 2019/11/13 03:42
I payed for their previous photo editing app which they have now up and abandoned. I AT THE VERY LEAST WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO CONTINUE SUPPORTING THE ORIGINAL APP! I can’t add text to photos anymore with it and I’m not about to pay a ridiculous monthly fee for an app that I should already own.

Lack of support

Sad because I really like and still use the original Enlight app which I paid for and is now unsupported. Why not offer this to your customers that made this new app possible? Paid money for said product, now it’s gone. Some way of doing business I guess.

Text stopped working out of the blue.
by lizutruz on 2019/11/10 02:17
The adding text to an image of yours stopped working out of the blue. That was one of the features I used quite a bit. Have tried everything I can think of, including re starting my phone. Looks like they just want to push us to pay for the upgrade. Shame on them for doing it this way.
Really Disappointed
by Koupongirl on 2019/11/08 18:37
Loved my previous Enlight, prior to Photofox. I paid for the app and used it exclusively. So the company decides to upgrade their platforms and offering and now I have to pay for the same tools I’d paid for with the original? Essentially now the company is screwing over the people who made the initial app investment and helped to build this company what it is. I understand if you want to charge for additional enchantments, but I should be able to use all of the same features I enjoyed (and paid for) before. Now I can see what the features do, but to save anything I have to subscribe or buy. I’m extremely upset.
Forces you to upgrade even if you paid
by Denversings on 2019/11/08 17:23
I have a phone I edited , I paid the $6.99 monthly, and when I try to save/share the edited photo, the upgrade window pops up. My only choice is to select what I already paid for, then it tells me I already have this subscription but the upgrade window will not go away. If I close it, the insanity starts all over again.
Broken features even with updates

Disappointed with the update
by Dodobird2003 on 2019/11/07 15:16
I went through bunches of editing apps until I found enlight, it became the one I recommended to friends to go to for everything photo editing, I even paid the small fee for extra features. I had been avoiding updating it for a while but one of the features stopped working so I decided it was time to update. The new format is frustrating and I don’t feel like I’m able to do as much as I was before. Especially considering all the subscriptions bs, the update was a major step backwards
Unsatisfying
by Hades. M/B🔥🔥🔥 on 2019/11/07 07:48
I have the old enlight app the one with the same fox only with a blue tail up to this month the app was working perfectly yet every time I opened it up i would be shown an offer for the new app versions .now when i open up the app i cant use the text tool because it locks me in the screen. Its a shame I really enjoy this app and i use it on the daily now i may just look into other options
Don’t upgrade!
by silverlynx on 2019/11/06 23:40
I paid for Enlight and used it and loved it. This was a great editor before they went all commercial and took away half of the good stuff and put it behind a pay-wall. Don’t upgrade! Currently a 1 star because of dishonest shenanigans, used to be 5 stars. I want my old, already bought app back.

NOT an update to the original Enlight..
by Brian Mel on 2019/11/05 15:29
This company proves they only care about ROI over having a solid product with happy customers. Enlight was highly regarded by just about everyone that reviewed it as being the best editing app available. I have used Enlight almost daily for years. To the point I paid the lifetime subscription. Then shortly after I start getting pop ups telling me to buy another app (Photofox) because they are discontinuing Enlight. Why?? The company blames Apple for the changes. Yet all of my other apps work fine. More likely the company did not want to pay the costs of redesigning the app to meet Apple’s new requirements and forced all of its users into a completely new app which has ‘in-app’ purchases. I use both Photofox and Enlight. They are COMPLETELY different apps. One is not an upgrade from the other. They both do different functions and have strengths and weaknesses which is why I had to use both simultaneously. The company claims you can add text, Meme’s, photo collages and special framing like in Enlight which I used ALL the time. However, I searched everywhere and cannot find the button for these things. If you email the company about a technical question they respond only if they feel they have to repair their reputation.
What happened???
by Disaster Dork on 2019/11/04 02:25
What happened to the original enlight app? I has to get a new phone and when I went to install the enlight app back on my phone I could not find it. I see something called enlight Photofox but it is not setup the same way and does not have the same features as the original enlight app. How do I get the original enlight app back on my phone?
Keep paying more
by Winston Alderidge on 2019/11/03 23:48
I purchased the program for $4.99 when it was Enlight and I was supposed to get all the tools with but now they switched to another format and I have to spend more money? These companies are getting ridiculous with their purchases only to either not work when a new update comes out or go defunct after a year.
Absolute trash
by yodelingpuppet on 2019/11/03 05:17
When you use Enlight for 4 years and are now forced into using Photofox, the UI makes no sense and does not transition easily.i don’t have time in my busy 65+ hour/week schedule to learn a whole new layout (an inferior one at that); the interface and ease of use was remarkably and significantly more intuitive in Enlight. You couldn’t have just improved Enlight by adding a few upgrades/features? How about just making “pro tools” available with subscription? Now, you’re abandoning an editing app that was a masterpiece in its category and are replacing it with something that has about half the features of the Enlight iteration of this new app for a free version? No thanks. Pure greed, getting users comfortable with all your tools and features for several years and then telling them if they want to continue using them, it now requires payment. What are you people, drug dealers? So incredibly unfair to get people hooked on a set of features only to strip half of them away and hold them hostage for $7 a month. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m not upset about you charging money... I’m upset paying money gains access to many features that were free before. By all means, charge a few dollars, but do it for newer, better, ADDED features. Also where’s the collage tools? Now that that’s missing I won’t even consider giving you my money. I’m utterly disgusted by this experience and want to vomit in your faces. You should be reported for acting so unethically.
glinch
by Onlyonecritic on 2019/11/01 17:58
Kind of mad the app was having problems while i was trying to draw up an image. I deleted it to see if it was a bug, and when it redownloaded, it deleted every drawing i created, and it has no access to getting those images back. The app keeps closing when you go to erase an error, which is causing more time because i have to wait for it to work when it wants to. It gets irritating because i need my images done for deadline purposes and it pushes me back a day or 2. Can you guys figure out whats going on with this?
Loved the old app
by nandory on 2019/11/01 17:49
The old app was my ONLY app as it had everything I needed. This updated version is not what I was used to. I would pay a monthly fee if I could only get my old app back. I miss TOOLS, IMAGE, DOODLE, etc...
Why did you make a bug to ruin the original app??
by GGishmoney on 2019/11/01 05:25
I understand the need to push out the old and in with the new. But I spent money on the original Enlight and it worked very well. That last update completely jacked up the app and you know it! Restore the original with another update or give me my money back!!
Yikes
by Big Papp 1120 on 2019/11/01 00:29
I love the Enlight App, extremely fun and I use it daily. Sadly, text has stopped working and the app constantly crashes. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with recent updates to both the app or apple, but it is beyond frustrating. I hope it gets fixed quickly, because this is honestly one of my all time favorite apps.
I miss the original Enlight App!!
by kittenkat450 on 2019/10/31 03:30
Don’t get me wrong, PhotoFox is great on its own, but I woah you guys had continued support for Enlight. PhotosFox don’t have nearly as much to offer as Enlight did and I had hoped you’d keep the same filters and quick adjust capabilities. I could edit so fast on Enlight. I want my Provence and Russet filters back! 😭😭
What happened to Enlight?
by Jgieka on 2019/10/31 00:51
What happened to the original enlight app? I have it on my phone but now it is no longer available? That was the single most used app on my phone. Now with the new ios update it doesn’t work right. Very disappointed.
Keeps crashing on my iPhone 11 pro max

So stupid
by Waaaaa!!!!847487!.):);) on 2019/10/29 00:04
So you guys want to stop supporting Enlight because it’s free and a one time purchase. Then come out with this sorry app to have people purchase a subscription. Good going. Then you have the original Enlight crash when people try to save photos because you guys are so desperate for money. Absolute trash. You guys are straight trash
Absolute Scam
by shdidhdldn on 2019/10/28 17:25
So I bought the old version of this app and payed $5 for it. Now they took it off the App Store and I can’t even add text to a picture anymore. I’m definitely not gonna pay anything for this app, even though I liked the features. Terrible company, 0 stars.
CRAP! Isn’t as good as original ENLIGHT
by Ed I. Tor on 2019/10/28 09:21
Does not have all the features Enlight did and is for 3rd graders, comparatively. I’ve only paid for a month and will not be renewing, and will find a better editing app as my go-to. It’s too bad. I used to rave about Enlight to everyone, and used it for many, many projects. Now, money hungry people making these unnecessary charges will get my money no more.
CASHGRAB
by THIS IS NOT THE GAME COMPANY on 2019/10/28 02:57
The first Enlight was probably the only app I’ve ever payed $4 or $5 for and could easily say I got my money’s worth. It was like having a miniature photoshop in my pocket. It was easy to learn, and very versatile if you knew how to use it. I LOVED the first Enlight app. Then, the developers got money hungry. After discontinuing support for the original app (and leaving it broken, nonetheless), Enlight was taken off of the app store and replaced by this garbage, run of the mill photo editor that you have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION fee in order to use. There are photoshop clones on PC/Mac that do 100x more than what this app does, all while costing 10x less. Save your money, don’t buy into this trash.
Was a great program until update

Love it but....needs update
by Stanfordand on 2019/10/26 01:46
I love this app! Been working great up until the new iOS update. Now when I try and add text, it takes me to the edit text screen but won’t let me get out of it. It seems like the ‘Done’ button is not working. Please fix it!
Horrible
by Celjoe on 2019/10/24 22:53
I don’t know what Went through their mind thinking this was an upgrade. The clone tool is a compete JOKE. very disappointed, and if only I hadn’t deleted Enlight by accident I wouldn’t even have downloaded this one. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
You ruined the original...
by dirtédanglès on 2019/10/24 18:52
I can’t believe you’ve ruined my favorite editing app. The original Enlight app has been on my phone for year’s and it’s by far the best editing app out there. But now you’ve removed it from the App Store and now it’s giving me problems. I can’t use the text tool anymore. I know this is just the beginning of the many issues that will come up as time goes on but I need to voice my frustration. It’s a better app than these new ones combined and I just want to be able to use the features I paid for.
App Update Problems
by **Randa** on 2019/10/24 01:19
So I use this app a lot with my Page I manage and it helps out a lot! It is one of my favorite apps out of all of them! But since the new update I am unable to Text and press the done buttons! When I go in to edit, it lets me type but it will not let me push the done button and go back to the picture to finish the project! I am extremely disappointed because this is the only editing app I use and I feel I am going to have to download a new one to use! I’m not a fan of the other ones because this one has more I can do with it and I also know this app better than the rest, which makes it easier and quicker for me to finish my project! Please help me figure out this problem and get it resolved so I don’t have to download and learn a whole new app! Other than that this app has been great and easy to use! If I could just figure out what is going on I will continue to use this one!

Unfortunate
by Wiscony on 2019/10/22 17:04
I’m a user of the original Enlight app that I gladly paid for due to it doing everything I needed without having to pay a monthly fee just to use. It seems that app is no longer fully functional with the recent iOS updates and you’ve left us early paying customers out in the cold. I realize your original business model for the app left you without a passive income and you had to shift gears towards either micro transactions or monthly user fees but just giving the cold shoulder to your early customers is disappointing. I’ll miss this app.
New Updates- Does not work anymore

WANTS TO CHARGE MONEY TOO FAST
by Busthetruth on 2019/10/20 21:36

Pathetic
by Robot sheep on 2019/10/20 09:06
I bought the old enlight app and loved it, I was on it all the time so to see a perfectly good app get taken down made me curious so I got this one and everything seemed all well and good until i started trying to add multiple layers of pictures and text and I was very disappointed to find that the only way I could do this was to buy the pro version. Now me being a 16 year old kid doesn’t want to pay something like $70 dollars for the pro version when previously I had an app that I had no complaints about. It’s honestly sad to see companies get this money hungry, I have already payed for the first app and can’t use it not even knowing if I got a refund for it or not, now I have to put up this this app that will charge me every time I click a button. I think it’s pretty unfair that I was forced to switch apps and then pay an insane amount of money for something that I already bought in the first place. Although nobody will probably see this and I know this won’t make a difference I had to vent somehow so thank you,
Enlight was so much better
by Swagful_ on 2019/10/20 07:32
This is such a cash grab version of enlight. Everything you do here you were able to do in enlight. And I can even argue as to say that enlight was better.
Awesome App
by TriipTrip on 2019/10/19 03:43
I love the app. I’ve been using it for close to a year. The only issue I have is that sometimes the exported images have a thin white line on the edge of the image, sometimes on one side, sometimes 2, sometimes 3, and sometimes all 4 sides have it.
My mistake
by PixieBelle117 on 2019/10/19 01:30
I thought you had to pay again, I was wrong. Trying the new version that’s still free.
Worked before
by DogSnow on 2019/10/18 16:13
This app worked so great about 2 years ago. Ever since then it has become increasingly difficult and worse. Certain features simply don’t work with no way of knowing why or how to fix it. Typical app that had something good going but sold out for a subscription model that users simply don’t want. Get better
Love The Original Version
by DME_Ski on 2019/10/17 14:36
Is it true the Devs are phasing out the original App? If so, can anyone here recommend something similar. I’m tired of paying for things over and over. Understand peeps gotta make a living but tired of good Apps not being kept up.
Enlight was better!
by siinch on 2019/10/17 06:40
They’ve already disabled some tools on Enlight as they phase it out and replace with Photofox. So disappointing. Enlight was my go-to. I’ve downloaded and experimented with Photofox, which just made me all the more miss Enlight. Wish they’d leave Enlight alone.
Hate the New App
by Rosser11 on 2019/10/17 05:48
I loved the old version of this app and have used it for a couple of years but hate that the new app is so hard to use now! I used it in all my social post and even did ad copy with it and my editors loved what I sent them. Unfortunately I accidentally uninstalled the old version. I had read the unhappy reviews about upgrading and was not going to do that. I am so disappointed that I can’t do what I used to and can’t find anywhere an explanation for adding continued text to my graphics. This layering thing is crappy! I HATE, HATE, HATE this new version! I am so glad that I did not go for the full subscription. If you have the old version DON’T UPGRADE! So disheartened!

How greed ruins an application
by last_patriot on 2019/10/15 21:18
I had bought this app using it for a long time and I’d enjoyed it a lot. But after the time I’ve got the new iphone, I realized that with new updates, my payment was gone and I have to subscribe monthly to use the features I had access before ( and I paid before, FOR SURE). I just want you to know that your greed make me angry and disappointed at the same time. I expect apple service to give back my money and I look forward giving a proper response.
The heal tool doesn't work
by Knit witch on 2017/11/27 16:11
Just upgraded from the previous version. Spent an hour or more watching video tutorials and checking forums because I needed the heal tool for a project and couldn't get it to work. Contacted tech support and got the most pathetic reply EVER! From technical support; "Heal was created to remove blemishes from a photo. The reason it works much more smoothly in the video you mentioned is that it takes the texture from around the Healed area, which in this case is the same patterned background. The area you are trying to Heal in your Project has a very different background, so Heal won't automatically reach the same results." This makes no sense for 2 reasons. 1. The heal tool is available in the original version and works as advertised but is limited to a circle and 2. Why would you be able to flip and choose the shape of the selection if it only worked on texture. The mini tutorial video, that opens when you start the program, is clearly false advertising as it removed a slice of watermelon and replaces it with the back ground making it disappear. I have tried the heal tool on several different photos, even with the same texture and it is useless. Very disappointed in the program and customer support!
Wow
by Loganberry777 on 2018/09/17 02:18
Ok so I got this app because I liked the idea of changing pictures. I also got it for a PhotoJournalism class. Any way, when I first opened this app I thought “Here we go... another app that downloads free but is subscription based and if you don’t pay the subscription then you only get the lame features..” but then I actually started messing around with it and found that you can still do a WHOLE LOT on it even without the pro. Now I’m not saying you don’t need the pro because there are a lot of really cool features there too but, I can still do what I need to do without having to pay a lot of money. This app is really great. Sometimes it makes me a little mad because if I want to change or move something after it’s done I can’t. This drives me nuts because I want to see what it looks like without the focusing circle I can’t until after it’s set in stone. Anyway sorry about the super long review but if you made it this far that means you’re interested and if you’re interested I can honestly say as someone who does not like to pay for apps that you should GET THIS APP!!!!
I’m sorry, it’s too good
by Nick😃😃😃 on 2019/09/14 17:31
Last year, or little bit longer, I edited my review from positive to negative because the update changed a lot of feature I got very comfortable with. Realistically, I was getting upset about something I could’ve gotten used to…and I have. Not to mention during the time I was undergoing a lot of stress, but thankfully it was short lived. This app is the absolute best for creating and editing photos, no other app does it better. It helped me make some REALLY impressive pictures I never would’ve thought I could make without this app. Sometimes I just make a picture for no real purpose other than to see if I can actually make it. I feel like with this app I’ve peaked at my editing skills; I started with a simple eraser app to this absolutely brilliant piece of art making genius. This review may sound a bit pretentious or exaggerated, but that’s how I feel about this app. People can definitely make pictures they couldn’t have been able to before and now I’m grateful that it exists.
THE photo editor for iPhone
by ThePoillon on 2018/07/27 22:38
I've owned several dozen apps for photography, but this is the one I always, *ALWAYS*, come back to. I wish I could put examples up on here of before and after images, but suffice it to say it can transform even the blandest image I've taken by mistake with the camera app open into an image worthy of wall space. I rarely review apps and even rarer still recommend apps, so I hope it speaks loudly enough to it's abilities when I say that I've got a bachelor of fine art with a concentration in photography, and I've had work displayed in two Smithsonian Museums as well as the SF Museum of Modern Art...and this is the app I'd give up all other 3rd party photo apps to keep. It really is nothing short of brilliant, and while most apps are limited by a users' imagination, I've found that this gem is powerful enough to greatly expand even that.
Cash grab that isn’t even compatible with the previous version
by Lohla Lohla on 2019/10/13 13:49
It’s clear that the Enlight team puts a lot of work into making some of the best editing software for phones, but I feel like they did not do a lot of market research into how most users are using their software. The original app was one of the best and most robust apps for quick editing and retouching, as well as making simple macros — which is how I’ve mainly used it. Just downloaded photofox and it’s clear there’s a lot more power here but the UI is grating and not intuitive. For example — I’m trying to zoom on a single layer to use a brush. It keeps RESIZING THE WHOLE LAYER. I can’t lock it, so I can’t get precise detail working on the image. I’m not spending 15 more minutes figuring it out because that’s not what I used enlight for. It’s not photoshop — I don’t want to take a tutorial, I want to quickly edit something. Needs a lot of work especially since they’re asking for a sizable subscription. I have no confidence buying it outright since I know they’ll just drop support for a prior app that users paid for once they’re done with it and want to get some more cash flowing.
Enlight
by Katnip17 on 2017/10/29 03:20
I loved the first Enlight app so I downloaded this as soon as I saw it on the App Store. I’m sad to see that photo editing apps have followed gaming apps down the path of the “freemium” model. I would definitely recommend this app as it is for the layers and filters but the price of the pro version seems crazy. I’d pay that for a computer photo editing program for professional high res photos from my camera but not for an app on my phone where I just “play” with personal photos. Also, this is a minor thing but to see the generic photos that come on the app you have to search a keyword and hope that something comes up. It seems bizarre to me that you can’t just scroll through all of the pictures and see what’s there without making a specific keyword search. It makes it hard to use this app unless you have a specific goal for the photos you want to blend in mind. Overall, for free this is a good app but it seems a bit limited compared to Enlight so I know I’ll use the first app more than I use this one.
Not a Good Replacement for Original Enlight
by sconnell2 on 2019/08/06 07:07
Love the original Enlight app, it's been my go-to app for years for social media content and daily photo journaling. Was extremely disappointed to see that they're doing away with it in favor of Photofox which appears to be a very powerful photo editor, but requires a costly subscription for full features, is much more complicated (& less intuitive) than Enlight and much more time consuming to do anything. It also does not appear to include all of the features (or maybe they've just buried them so deeply I can't find them; e.g. Finalize>Instafit is super useful for social media formatting. Same thing can be done in Photofox sort of with 5x more steps). Enlight is reasonably simple yet has a lot of easily accessed capabilities whereas Photofox is not. I have a Photoshop subscription thru my desktop work but chose to use the original Enlight on mobile because it's easier. I wish they'd continue to support it as a non-subscription, lighter weight app. If I want complicated, I'll just use the Photoshop subscription that I already have. This may be a 5-star app if you're looking for power and complexity, but it is by no means a 5-star replacement for the original Enlight.
Was great until asked to buy again
by homegrownhunting on 2018/04/27 18:28
Loved the app. I’ve used it for a couple of years. People like me who bought it when it was getting on its feet are the backbone of the app. Now I’m being asked to subscribe in order to use new updates and some features that I have always used aren’t available unless I subscribe or pay a one time fee. I feel I was duped and tricked. How can you sell someone an app , the paid full version, and turn around a couple years later and ask them to pay more money (actually an absurd amount for what other apps are now offering for free). This is the first review I’ve ever wrote because I generally don’t rock the boat, but this is completely unfair. Shame on you for taking my money so the app could grow and then take away what I paid for to start with and ask for more money for the initial features and future features. I’m sure I’ll get a response of “we’re sorry you feel this way.” When the response should be “Thank you for buying our app and your account is now open for you to enjoy all our features because if it weren’t for people like you who backed us when we were small , we would have never gotten off the ground.”

Upset about the Update, can’t start from blank canvas
by T-Real33 on 2018/11/11 01:10
I use Photofox for more than just photo editing and I personally believe it is the best app on the market for editing. I don’t like the fact that in the update I can’t start a new project with a blank canvas instead I have to start with a picture and then go Darkroom settings and alter the Offset setting just to make a white or black canvas. That’s very annoying. It seems like you reverted that part to the basic Enlight app settings and I don’t appreciate it. I feel like your trying too hard be a photo editing app when you can just be an overall editing and graphic design app. Don’t try and please people by taking away parts of the app that make it unique. Please add back the feature where I could start a project with a blank canvas and choose the size of that canvas. SMH.
Almost Pro
by Abutting query on 2018/03/06 19:58
It's a great app, I use it all the time for serious graphic design work on the go. But it's missing a few key features I'd really love to see. Guys, can you please give us the ability to turn snapping on and off?!? Can't tell you how much time I've spent wrestling against the snapping feature try to place a layer where I want it to go. Seems ridiculous it's still not an option. Have you tried your own app? Because I can't imagine using the app even once without experiencing the frustration I'm referring to. Also, it's missing some important blend modes like linear burn, add (although plus lighten comes close, misses sometimes), linear light, difference and exclusion. And although the heal tool works great most of the time, it won't work on any surface that's pure black. This aspect of the tool is more limiting than enabling, though I get why they did it this way. Maybe an additional stamp/clone tool to compensate would be in order? Also, the "urban" art feature is cool, except all the background images are in lo-res. C'mon guys, really ?? Very least it should be possible to import your own hi-res images to be used as the background. Lastly, you should be able to use a layer as a mask, or even import a photo that's converted to b&w and used as mask, the way "Union" by Pixite does it. Add these features and it's the perfect platform worthy of any price!!
Exactly what I was looking for
by ChiroBat on 2018/12/29 22:25
All the other phone photo editors I could find before were very limited in what they could do. Just preset filters with stickers and minimal effects. When I found this app, I was skeptical to be sure, but hopeful. To my upmost delight, it has layers...and masks, even without paying a cent! There’s a decent amount of things you can do, but like all good programs, it’s better if you pay, and I definitely appreciate that there’s different plans to fit different budgets. However, there’s probably no need to pay if you’ll only be using it casually. There’s still plenty to do without it. I’ve only started to dabble in the possibilities, and I’m excited for what I can make. It’s no desktop photoshop, but it’s the best program I’ve been able to find for iPhone, and I plan on using it for years to come.
Brilliant and yes, the Heal Tool works brilliantly as well!
by MadManMark on 2018/06/03 17:41
I am a medical doctor and have no relationship with and have never met anyone associated with PhotoFox. PhotoFox is about as significant as Photoshop and easier to use. If new user follows the tutorials, they will become proficient in the use of PhotoFox very quickly! As a graphic hobbyist, I am as enthusiastic about PhotoFox as I was when I first learned to use it. I highly recommend PhotoFox Pro as it uses layers to alter photos and drawing to create beautiful photo projects. It is these layers that make PhotoFox-Pro an extremely powerful in the world of photo manipulation. I say this as an owner of every other photo manipulation software out there (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Polarr, Pixelmator, DTF... you name it I have it.) Enlight PhotoFox and PhotoFox Pro are the ones that I use 98% of the time. You are missing out out if you haven’t used PhotoFox. I love it!

I get it this app is so great but if u changed it to where u can get it all for 5 bucks, more people and I would definitely would upgrade this app, but if all u want is money 🤑 that much money then no thanks I will just keep my little bit of editing buttons but over all it’s great but I would definitely change the fact of how much money🤑🤑 u want from us to upgrade this app, that’s the only reason I gave it a 4 but if u change that one thing about money, it would definitely be a 5 or even higher
Takes up a lot of memory if not Careful
by Jessclay1983 on 2018/05/04 14:25
Love this app! I use it just as a simple photo editor. I haven’t got into much of the combing photos together features, etc so this is really just for editing basics. I did notice my phone memory was very low and couldn’t figure out why. Comes to find out each project you open in Photofox is Saved in the app. I had 670 projects saved in the app- after I also saved each individual photo on my phone. Photofox doesn’t have a way to multi select projects and delete in bulk so I had to individually delete each of the 670 projects one at a time. It would be great if you could add a feature to multi select those projects and delete. After deleting each project I added 50% of memory back to my phone. So it does take up a ton of space if you don’t remember to delete the projects when you’re done. Other than that, I love it 😊
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL APP!
by awesomekid88349 on 2019/01/05 19:19
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This app is the best photo editing app I have ever used... No watermark (That’s a big thing for me cause it drives me NUTS when an app is cool but they have a huge watermark and you have to pay tons of money to get it removed), WONDERFUL blending and other options even without Pro, not saying you shouldn’t get Pro, it has MANY other amazing features!, and it’s just the best. I DEFINITELY give this app 5 stars! It’s so awesome- especially the competitions! THANKS YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Keep on making AWESOME apps just like this one! This is good that I am actually convinced I should get the Pro! If apps ask “Pay to remove watermark” and all other stuff... I just delete the app. I don’t want to waste my money. But this app... My money will be worth it! Thank you again, wonderful creator(s) of this app!
Pathetic

Although nobody will probably see this and I know this won’t make a difference I had to vent somehow so thank you,
Solid as it gets

Anyone who gave a bad review only complains about the price. They never complain about the app’s functionality, features, or anything other than the $4/month Pro version. Let me tell you this, those reviewers are poor saps who want everything for nothing. These reviewers are fools and tools. For what you can do, in terms of editing features, for such a small price, and short learning curve, this app is by far the best I’ve used. I also love the Facebook private community and outreach campaign the company stirs up via their social marketing. For $4 bucks a month I get the most out of it. If you’re looking to edit just a couple images for a lame IG account, then get something else. For real professionals, amateurs, and editing enthusiasts, this is the rockstar of apps.
Research
by ursoc brew on 2017/12/29 10:31
So I looked up 1 time purchase for the best of the best being adobe (actually ranked 2; but can be used on multi platforms so that’s number 1 to me) which is $699 following the same model as lighttricks; a subscription to keep a low price which was aimed at students. After seeing this my previous thoughts of cash grab was altered; due to that I don’t have powerful computer just a iPad 2017 model; price seems fair cause I can produce great results. - 1 star support link goes to void and can’t animate a session but you can Enlight 1? And remember lady and gents companies pay other companies to inflate their ratings due to this and actual people don’t take the time to learn the product; you have to take the time and do research and come to your own conclusion.
BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by MidnightHowl2437 on 2019/02/28 03:26
You do not have to pay to get in and most of the stuff is not pro and almost no adds!!!!!!! You can save to camera roll for free and without adds. It gives a free tutorial!!!!!! It is my new favorite game!!!!!! Make sure to download this app!!!!! If you did not ir missing out on a lot, and you can barely edit ur photos. But if you download this app you are complete, and you can easily edit ur photos with just a couple of clicks!!! The best part is it is free and you don’t have a time limit for long you do it! And also you can use your photos, take photos, or use the web for photos!!!!! And I can not find one bad thing to say about this app!!!!!
Love it but wish it had more
by lordtay002 on 2019/06/30 12:35
To me this is the best photoshop alternative that’s simple but has almost have all the features I need. One being I wish we could rename photos when I save it to the cloud but it’s just one extra step so that’s not huge. Another one is creating different size documents, I’m willing to pay extra for that feature. A 3rd feature, but I can see how it won’t be and I sorta found a way to work around it, is to save it other than a png, particularly as a tiff (in high quality) and or eps due to the layers and I can work on it later on the desktop if needed. Again I’m willing to pay more for that last feature, but other than that this app is amazing and prefer it over affinity and Pixelmator.
Best creative app I’ve found.
by 1BustedFlush on 2018/05/13 07:20
Photofox is a great tool for enhancing photos, as good as any out there but where it really shines is when you want to do more. I work in photoshop professionally and wanted to find a app for IPhone that would allow me to work on photos and graphics in a similar way. After trying several others I downloaded Photofox’s free version. I couldn’t believe what ‘free version’ of Photofox could do but when I upgraded to the paid version I was amazed. From photo enhancing, to making memes, to creating works of art, Photofox far exceeded my expectations especially at the price. I don’t mean to say it is an equal to Photoshop’s but with multiple layers, an eraser tool , prebuilt effects, lots of presets, a title tool and a little creativity you can do a lot.
Great Photo App but too expensive
by Makidigital on 2018/03/31 08:40
This app would get 5 stars if the buy to own price weren’t so steep. $60 to own is a bit over the top. I really want to unlock it’s full potential because I could see this being my new “Everything” photo edit app but not for $60. Im checking here and there to see if they put the one time purchase fee on 1/2 off sale like they do the annual price because $30 I could justify spending but not $60. I’m not saying it’s not worth $60..the polish of this app alone is top notch but $30-$40 is usually the price for a decent non-pro photo editing suite so I compare it to that. Until then I’m still using my other photo app that I won’t mention because that’s rude to push a competitor’s app in another app review.
Just buy the $3.99 original Enlight. Do not pay for this
by Gghdghfehjfdchy on 2019/02/15 22:53
I loved the original app and how affordable it was for the price. It had a lot a features that I personally used. But then they added this app. Which essentially has the same features as the original, they just removed most of them for free users. I was happily ready to pay the full price, but then I saw that the price is absurd for what is a really basic photo editor. $70 for the one time fee! That’s $76 more just for little more features than what the original had. For crying out loud it’s a basic photo editor. You can get Affinity Photo, which has many many more features than Photofox, I think it is the photo editor with the most features on iPad, and is only $20. I think I’ll stick with the original, thank you.
I love the original app.
by Olai Black on 2019/09/29 20:55
I’ve checked out Photofox, and it’s just way more than I need. I’ve been using your original app for years. It’s the perfect basic editor. I use the mixer to quickly overlay something. I love the filters, and I find it smooth and intuitive. I’d be. We happy to pay a modest subscription fee to keep it. I’ve tried the new apps, and they’re amazing. That being said, they’re way more than I need and much more money than I want to spend. I’d be very happy to spend a few dollars a month for the original app. I hope you keep supporting it. Many thanks. PS: my five star review is for the original Enlight.
Truly Awesome!
by jaysnuh on 2019/01/24 20:14
I have been using this app for only a few days, but I LOVE IT! As an amateur photographer and photo editor, I love that it’s so easy to use! The fact that is has a huge library of beautiful photos is wonderful too. The only complaint I might have is that you can only use two layers per project if you don’t have Enlight Photofox Pro. I would really appreciate it if we could have just one or two more layers to work with without having the subscription. It can get a bit frustrating to only have two to work with when you’re a broke student with a big goal. Anyway, truth be told, I have never had more fun editing and creating photos, and I really love this app. I recommend it to all! ☺️
Ridiculous
by NickE7373 on 2019/10/07 22:37
I purchased the original Enlight a few years ago. It was Ana amazing app until it stopped working today and crashed every time I tried to do anything on it. I figured I would just delete the app and redownload it. No big deal. Come to find out you can’t redownload the old app and now I have lost hundreds of photos I have saved and edited over the years. As if that wasn’t bad enough, now my original purchase is completely null and void. If you have the old app- save all of your saved and unsaved photos to your photos on your phone before you change apps because they do not carry over. I will not be purchasing the new app and I sure feel scammed that the original $15 I spent on the app is gone now unless I want to pay $80. Ridiculous business model. I’d love my money back for the app I can no longer use
Pro or Not 5 Star
by Paindeer? Hey on 2017/12/15 17:31
I don’t have Enlight or pro, and I don’t necessarily plan on spending money on it anytime soon. But I absolutely love this app! It’s got several great features for free and looks like some amazing ones I really want to have the money for. I like the ability to customize the brushes such as the eraser and doodle. I have never seen this in any other photo editing app. I enjoy the simplicity and yet ability to do complex things. I love what I can do with these photos with Photofox! I really wanted to leave a good review because I’ve been on this app maybe way too much and nobody ever knows what I’m talking about.
Duplicate feature?
by TNT 620 on 2019/07/23 03:54
I absolutely love every thing about this app! One of the best and easiest photo edit apps I’ve used. ONE ISSUE or thing I haven’t figured out (and I don’t know if it’s just not a function or if I don’t know how to find it) BUT I would love to be able to duplicate a previous project and save it under a new file name so I can reuse previous created templates. I use this app to edit photos, create memes, and social media content as well. So, if it does have this feature could you please comment what I need to do to find it. And if it isn’t part of the infa structure I think it would be a great feature to add. (Save And duplicate option. Then I would FOR SURE CHANGE MY RATING TO 5 STARS. Thanks.
Wrong Pricing Model
by topspinguy on 2017/10/01 17:36
Yes, the app is good, but I'm ready to cancel my subscription as soon as my 3 free months come to an end. I am not cheap. I've purchased literally almost every photo and graphics app for iOS, but I cannot support the hefty subscription model, or the overpriced one-time purchase price. There are many one-time purchase price points between $0 and $40 that would be much more appropriate and would at the same time expand your happy user base. Would I pay $10? Absolutely. Would I pay $15? I likely would. Would I pay $20 one time? I likely would, but I believe that would be the upper limit for an app in this category. It's fun and creative, but not necessary nor life saving. I would rather you revise your one time purchase price now, rather than wait until you have alienated and burned through your entire existing customer base. Just my 2¢.
Needs 2 improvments.
by imsosorryandilikelikeyouthanks on 2019/04/21 16:24
Hi, I find this app very cool. Its just that things are kinda expensive. Like the ‘Pro’. I don’t know how to use much of the tools very well, so I wish you could explain every tool? I also wish there were a little more pictures in stock, I enjoy the app because I make really cute art on it, but I wish you could just fix these little things in the app. Please also respownd! But when i frist got this i thoght it was like you make a people and play games but i was worng,Now that i have been playing this game so much i love this game im like the best pro EVER,Thank you for making this game i love it,Also Please Respownd!

Great App!!
by Loladoesn'tgiveabuck on 2018/11/16 12:26
I really enjoy this app, I think it is great for editing. I like that there is many different things you can do to the pictures and I really like that you can blend 2 or more pictures at a time, many apps do not have that option. I definitely recommend getting this app, and I would be giving it 5 stars but I do think it is a little confusing at first and I do like that they did a little demo for you to kind of give you the feel of doing it yourself but after that there wasn’t a help button or anything to click on. Other than that though the app is excellent for editing and I really like the options it gives you!
Free? Revised Review
by SG-RVA on 2018/06/03 04:36
I’m revising my review because it isn’t fair for me to say what I said when it was operator error that caused the issue. I’m giving 4 stars instead of one. I’m still not good at using the functions but it does what they say it will for free. Here was my original review for reference. I apologize if anyone made a choice to not try this out for their self based on what I wrote!!! I downloaded so that I could test it out since support kept saying how great free version still is. I didn’t opt in for any payment and it went to a screen saying tap here to start and froze. It’s not my phone either, working with iPhone X so there should be no issues. Disappointing.
Kind of disappointed
by tgb623 on 2019/09/06 02:10
I purchased this app since it first came out. I used it all of the time. I don’t do anything special. Add words, make a collage. With this new update I have to figure everything out again and some of the things I liked and used are gone. Replacing them are constant pop ups to subscribe. I know there are people that really use all of the features, but I just want something to edit a photo. I don’t want to pay even more money every month to use an app I already paid for once. This isn’t the only app that’s doing this, I’ve had to delete apps asking for a monthly fee to use them. THAT’S what is disappointing.
Disappointed with the “upgrade”
by Errkaderrka6415 on 2019/10/11 17:13
With Enlight being phased out and replaced with Photofox, I would’ve expected the same features to be available in both of the free versions. But this isn’t the case; the heal, patch and target features are only available now with the Pro version of Photofox when they were available in the free version of Enlight. Photofox also feels like a more “a five-year old can use it” type app, rather than one geared towards photographers. If I recall correctly, Photoshop did the same thing with their app and lost a ton of customers. In my opinion, Enlight was much better than Photofox, and I’m very disappointed the company decided to go with this “forget the customer, make as much money as we can” route. Photofox may be a good option for some, but it is no longer an app I will be using.
Really?
by Your.Friend.E on 2019/04/28 21:02
Charging for features that are already FREE for users that ONE TIME PURCHASE the original Enlight app. I would understand this app had the exact features of the original for FREE and then charge for newer and different ones but that’s not the case. Also I don’t appreciate the message on an update that was made to Enlight app stating that they will still support the app for now. That’s not ok, I understand there’s money to be made but don’t take away something that people purchased on your own terms of a one time purchase. If the objective was to have a monthly, yearly, permanent purchase charge, then you should’ve executed that business model from the start. That way you guys wouldn’t have had to make a new app that’s so similar but with a different look and name to get that business model up and running.
Don’t get me wrong
by Kcm1989 on 2017/09/22 20:55
I completely understand that it takes money to run a business and to make improvements but I feel the quality of the product itself should be enough to sell mass amounts of downloads at a low fixed rate and through this the creators can make a fair amount of money . considering after all that most users are using this for phone photography , and most iOS phones although great at taking photographs , aren’t the gold standard for photography ... Youd figure for that amount you can just buy desktop software . I understand the portability of this being on a phone but you also have to be fair when considering the medium .if you were using a 12 megapixel digital camera ... it’s just not logical to pay a recurring fee or the high amount you’re charging .
Awesome
by @#catintheflame on 2019/04/23 22:18
I’m only ten years old and I don’t give a ****ing crap about reviews. But this app is worth it! I can make anything look like anything, I can make it look like my brother is sitting in a cup of coffee and dare him to do it when he gets older and have proof that it is possible, have proof that he did it when he was two! This app is great. I would rate it four and 1/2 cause whenever someone likes something they say “oh five stars! five stars!” “You have to do this” “get this” “read this” “watch this” etc. but really deep down inside the highest rating we can give is four and 1/2! So I am giving my highest rating! ✨✨✨✨ n ❌⭐️
Surprisingly impressive
by the al fonz on 2019/02/02 06:19
With iOS photo apps you expect nifty gimmicks, ya rarely luck out and find something that adds to your workflow. For this reason I am shocked at the utility of this app for legit photography. Want to clone out defects, compile multiple files as layers, select and mask backgrounds, check. You can even modify the canvas sizes. My biggest criticisms would be that it’s loaded with effects and filters that you cannot intricately modify and this gives the apps a gimmicky feel at first. But you will be shocked at how many “pro” functions this app can do.
Almost perfect but slight issue...
by AppRaterSnake on 2019/06/25 22:58
Ok. This app is absolutely brilliant. I’ve never seen anything like it before, and it’s great even without the pro version. Probably the best photo editing app I’ve ever seen. I have one slight issue though. When I don’t have the pictures saved to the camera roll, they delete by the next time I open the app. I’d like to have them saved within the app. Don’t know if this is just me or a whole-app issue, but I’d like to know why this is. I’d give a 5 star review if this problem were to be fixed. I entirely recommend this app though, despite the one issue.
Just assume use the original. Not recommended
by The_orange_mob on 2019/01/24 00:07
So the first Enlight app was GREAT! Not only is it a fare price but, it is way better then other photo editing apps, with lots of great features, that you don’t usually find on phone apps. It was just well thought out and over all a great app. When I downloaded Enlight Photofox I was surprisingly disappointed! It had almost all the same features plus some witch is great. But to get all the features you have to pay an unreasonable high price. There are just enough features that you can’t use, that you might as well just use the original Enlight. It’s just not worth it. Performance wise I would give Enlight Photofox 5 stars but, to get more then just the basic features you have to pay an price that is extremely to high. So I would just assume use the original Enlight ( witch I gave 5 stars all around ). So all around I’m going to give this app 3 stars and, I’m not going to recommend it. P.S. I really think that enlight can do better and has done better.
I LOVE IT 😍

I absolutely LOVE this app and all the pictures I can blend and make better. My family loves all the pictures I edit for them and I have a lot of fun using this app!!! I recommend this app to everyone since it can really bring out your creative side. You learn more the longer you use this app and your pictures can become master pieces if you do it correctly. I am so happy I got this app and enjoy it soooooooo much!! Even though I didn’t get the pro it’s still amazing!!!! This was just what I was looking for. Thank you sooo much!!!
PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!
by EggoLover012 on 2019/09/28 01:45
I Love this app! I can do everything possible and more. I’m not a good editor but the app makes it so easy. I am an upcoming author and once I get a book published I’m going to make character edits, and I’m definitely using this app to design them! I also love how this app does not need a premium to get most of the stuff. Though I would like more than 3 layers... but I only use about 2 for my official arts of characters. This app made my life much better, I’ve had it 2 days and I’ve made 25 projects. Thx so much, team at Photofox!

I can’t add text to photos anymore with it and I’m not about to pay a ridiculous monthly fee for an app that I should already own.

by lizutruz on 2019/11/10 02:17
The adding text to an image of yours stopped working out of the blue.

Its a shame I really enjoy this app and i use it on the daily now i may just look into other options
Don’t upgrade!
by silverlynx on 2019/11/06 23:40

Tried to use the app but it keeps crashing.
So stupid
by Waaaaa!!!!847487!.):);) on 2019/10/29 00:04
So you guys want to stop supporting Enlight because it’s free and a one time purchase.

WANTS TO CHARGE MONEY TOO FAST
by Busthetruth on 2019/10/20 21:36
I would prefer to use it before I buy and the cost should be reasonable otherwise it’s not worth my time. Far too many shysters out there try to make a quick but off junk.
Nothing free here

Pathetic
by Robot sheep on 2019/10/20 09:06
I bought the old enlight app and loved it, I was on it all the time so to see a perfectly good app get taken down made me curious so I got this one and everything seemed all well and good until i started trying to add multiple layers of pictures and text and I was very disappointed to find that the only way I could do this was to buy the pro version.

Wow
by Loganberry777 on 2018/09/17 02:18
Ok so I got this app because I liked the idea of changing pictures.

I love it!
Love it but one problem

I love this app, it’s the best, best photo app I have ever used and have had but I want to use a lot of the stuff you can use but u have to get the pro or whatever it’s called to have all the editing buttons, so I was like ok I’m going to upgrade my app to have all the stuff and then I saw how much money it is!!!!!😵😵😵😵😵🤯🤯 for a photo editing app!!!!!
Pathetic

Although nobody will probably see this and I know this won’t make a difference I had to vent somehow so thank you,
Solid as it gets

Great App!!
by Loladoesn'tgiveabuck on 2018/11/16 12:26
I really enjoy this app, I think it is great for editing.
I LOVE IT 😍
by ABIGAILE JW on 2018/07/16 23:53
I absolutely LOVE this app and all the pictures I can blend and make better.
