SOMETHING's WRONG.. (UPDATED)
by FrigidValley on 2020/04/05 22:02
So, I subscribe to their One-Time Purchase (since I'm a long live Enlight user before Photofox arrived), and for me this app is such a mess. Here's why: 1. With the updated version, I'm no longer be able to transform Elements (ex: transform circle into oval, etc, since there's only 2 options which is flipping and rotate). There's no corner points, just like to transform a photo. (Update: to transform the elements, you must convert the elements to be a photo, I think its not a pretty clean process 😅) 2. IT IS A SCAM!. When you use "One-Time Purchase" as a term, it means that I pay to use this app with unlimited access for lifetime. But your app tells me that all the access only available for 10 years. Is that means I should pay again after 10 years?. New Update: I'll give this app a 5 star, if they can resolve the second problem, to make sure that Its not a scam for everyone. Take a note that I've paid the full version of Videoleap, and there's no problem from its end. (Yeah I'm that Mobile Creator, sorry 😅).

The original Enlight was so much better and more powerful
by TheChosen501 on 2020/04/05 01:14
This app took an amazing and powerful photo app and destroyed it for the sake of popular filters and other bs. This app removed SO MANY features from the original Enlight photo editing app that’s no longer on the App Store, and blocked so many other features behind a paywall. It’s so disappointing.

Where is my original enlight app that I payed for? You're gonna make me pay again for a premium now and just take away the og app. I mean it's 3 dollars but still, do I feel like putting all my credit info again to get a new version which has all the same features that I will be using?
No free options
by callooh on 2020/04/04 17:13
I loved this app and was having a great time exploring it, but with the last update they put a big title across the middle of any picture you’re working on which makes it difficult to edit. And while I understand developers should make money for their hard work I think there should be a few free options to play with and get a feel for the app with. There really is no point in getting this app unless you plan to pay for it. It shouldn’t be listed as a free app.

absolutely amazing
by Matt the casual fisher on 2020/04/02 02:31
I can’t praise this app enough. For just the fact that you can combine 3 image layers into one image with NO watermark for FREE is showing how much they are willing to give. Not to mention all the free options they have to edit your image. Everything is clean and easy to use. Simple and straightforward, customer in mind. So many stars for an app. If I had any money whatsoever I would upgrade and pay for this app. Thank you for breaking the meta and allowing so much and giving so much to just the free version of this app without pushing too much. Keep it up fox people. -Matthew
Terrible Way to Treat Customers
by Maka491 on 2020/04/01 16:59
They developed this new app which is on a monthly/yearly service but then completely ignored the previous app which WE PAID FOR. The app is useless and does not work any more because the creators behind Enlight apparently don’t care about their older customers. AVOID.

Planned obsolescence and money grab
by AhhdamKahuna on 2020/03/30 18:39
I had the original version of this app “ENLIGHT” before they released the cashgrab versions, photofox, pixaloop, etc. It worked flawlessly and I was able to do everything I needed via that app. When they released photofox they deployed a series of updates that rendered “Enlight” virtually unusable. The functions do not work, you cannot export to your photos or do much of anything. This is because all these functions were included in a single payment of ($8.99?). And now to get these functions in the new app, you’ll need to pay $6.99 a month! Its a sham, I sent an email to the company and their response was “Yes we will not support the old app anymore but people who bought the old app can try the new one for $3 a month for 6 months. No thanks. Such a shame.

Don’t Upgrade!
by Buckwheat Fujimoto on 2020/03/29 16:18
So glad I read the reviews before updating. My wife updated and the new version is not only ridiculously expensive (especially for an app we previously PAID FOR already), but it lacks many of the features I loved and used regularly. It’s like buying a car and then finding out a year later the manufacturer wants you to pay quadruple for it AGAIN in order to get the AM radio to function properly. Goodbye Enlight; you have moved to the top of my shi# list, you greedy, cheating a$$hats! You’ve seen the last dime of mine that you’ll ever see.

Please give me back the original Enlight app!
by ninja_agn on 2020/03/25 06:58
I loved the original Enlight app so much for creating collages of before and after pictures for my business services. I paid for the app over $75 and one day it notice me the app is no longer available after my phone updated. I tried to work with Photofox to do what I used to do with Enlight app. It is just impossible since there is no collages to chose , but merging (impossible to crop out pics as collages) . Also I need all the filter to make my picture more crisp, realistic, vibrant ,... but photofox filters are nothing close to Enlight filters. This is such a disaster for me, my marketing pictures and my business. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ENLIGHT APP!!!

Not a fan of the subscriptions
by saisho123 on 2020/03/12 05:02
I used the original Enlight for quite a few years, and it was definitely worth the 5 bucks. I still have it, despite it not being on the App Store anymore, but it doesn’t work like it used to. Yes this is the improved version, but being able to own the app with one purchase was great. The subscription is obviously just a way to rake in more cash, and honestly it’s very disappointing to me. Big fan of the app, but I just expected better.
So could u tell me how
by Vj889 on 2020/03/12 00:39
To purchase the subscription type that u made for people that already purchased the enlight ? Where is that option on here? Still in shock with everything that happened since I am a big supporter of ur multiple apps and pay for them. If that’s true that people like me can get it for free for 6 months that could actually kinda help of giving it chance. Please respond , thanks
Really Limited
by Papows on 2020/03/10 04:04
Definitely not worth the price. The preselected backgrounds and filters are really boring. It doesn’t do anything that can’t be done on Enlight only we’re supposed to drop a heavy price tag to use a less sophisticated editor? Why can’t we use our own images as overlays? Pretty lame. Save the money and learn to use Enlight.
Pricey
by kristworthless on 2020/03/07 06:17
Clunky interface and nothing fun for free. Maybe the paid version is cool, I dunno, but wack
Too expensive!!
by montereyca831 on 2020/03/06 18:28
Nice filters and options but $8.00 for ONE month or $35.00 for the year! I’m good. You can’t even screenshot any work you do without their stamp ruining the entire picture. Smart but dumb.
Greedy cash grab
by Sean1982 on 2020/03/04 23:55

Insane
by JEmlay on 2020/03/04 17:13
80 bucks? Have you lot your mind? Pretty sure the vast majority of reviews are people who are using the app for free. Apply your filter then just take a screen grab. Insane!
Good app, but expensive
by Daxxid on 2020/03/04 02:29
Great app, tons of good content but $70 for a one time purchase, nah. I’ll stick to using the app and screenshotting the photo. Zoom out, snap, crop, nice try with the watermark tho

Hate it.
by Z Becker on 2020/03/03 04:52
I have been using the original Enlight App for a long time and I love it. Then one day I get a message saying they are no longer going to support the product I paid for and that i need to switch to their much more expensive app. I finally decided to shell out the cash and after a couple days using the new App, I hate it. The UI on the older app was much more intuitive. It was easy to explore and simple to make quick changes yet powerful enough to perform complex edits when required. Granted the new app has more options but it is not nearly as easy to use. Also, the new app deletes the photo EXIF data. This is unacceptable and makes it completely useless for what I need. In speaking with customer service they advised they had to get rid of the original EXIF data due to issues with the new iPad OS. This is not true since i have other photo editors (Affinity for one) that retain the original EXIF data after an edit. Thank you Apple for giving my money back.
Disappointed
by ThrownNevada88 on 2020/03/01 01:30
When this app wasn’t free and actually costed money it was good now everything is completely changed and I just can’t believe what once was the best photo editor on the App Store has now plummeted so low in my eyes I am very disappointed
Shameful
by Baronerm on 2020/02/29 15:51
There was a time when you put forth the original enlight app which was delightful and fun to use. Then you went and discontinued it for this shameful shadow of a money grab. Monthly subscriptions are abhorrent and a $70 lifetime usage fee rivals what I’d pay for professional adobe tools with more to offer. You guys really screwed the pooch on this. Used to love the original app. Now I tell people to find one of the thousands of other sub par apps that do the same yours does. For less.

Great program but $70 is a bit ridiculous
by Huyness on 2020/02/26 00:04
The program is very cool but $70 is highway robbery. I understand you have bills to pay but still I don’t like renting apps. And $8 is ridiculous since photoshop only cost $10
Love the app, but confusing UI update from original
by estebanesteban2 on 2020/02/24 15:32
I love some of the features, but the app it’s just not as easy to use as the original Enlight app. The new layers functionality is pretty rad, but it’s also so easy to accidentally make cropping transformations while you think you’re just zooming. I miss some of the cool duo filters too from the previous app. Lastly, there’s no way to preview your results from the original photo. You can only do so only at an layer level, and only compared to the last state of that layer, not the original. Overall, it’s a great first attempt, but they really need to up their game and put some actual user experience love on this thing. It’s not worth the money I paid. I would have paid this for the original app, not this excuse of an update.
❤️ Enlight Photofox!
by BAR112 on 2020/02/24 15:24

What happened?
by JDreez on 2020/02/23 19:15
I had the old version of the app with the tools on the right hand side of the screen and it was amazing. I loved it. My phone did an update and it has changed dramatically. Whichever this new version is has the tools on the bottom. The filters are all different. I hate the new version. Please help me get the old version back!
From best to almost unusable can’t DONE text portion DEVS PLS FIX!
by ReviewFever on 2020/02/23 17:19
New app flaw causes so much frustration because the TEXT part of the app makes you force close the app entirely on both iPhone XS Max and latest gen iPad Pro I loved this program and still 98% of it is perfect. So perfect that I bought Photofox from them for $70. I’ve used Enlight for years now for client work, for my personal editing business, and for my employment office. Their programs are fantastic but using these programs (as I find enlight is phenomenal for the image tuning) has become tedious and frustrating due to one new flaw. Currently I have a latest gen iPad Pro as well as an iPhone XS Max and on NEITHER of these devices am I able to utilize the TEXT portion. It will critically fail the app with no recourse but to CLOSE the app entirely because the DONE button does not function any longer. I have had this problem now for over 7 months and am writing this now after the most recent update came out and this problem still exists. It exists on both devices which are updated as of today Feb 23 to the latest version of both the app and system iOS. This is killing me writing this review at my daughters birthday party because our guests wanted me to edit a photo of all of the children jumping on trampolines together and I had to close the app while I’d already done a lot of editing and forgot which app I was in and tapped on the TEXT part to just add the text “ Who’s the birthday girl” and the DONE button does not respond. In portrait mode the DONE button is unresponsive if you switch to landscape it is also unresponsive however on both devices if you rotate back to portrait the DONE button gets all squished and it moves other buttons around the screen. This happens on both devices all the time and it forces you to have to close the app because you cannot exit the text screen to go back to the picture. The only way to add text is to save it then open it in Photofox then add text there and then save it again then reopen it back in Enlight. Enlight is more responsive to the Apple Pencil and the AI of the software finds edges better than Photofox. PLEASE DEVS address this issue. I’ve tried reinstalling this app now 4 times it still does the same thing and it’s becoming a major pain in the rear especially now I’ve been sitting on my tablet during the birthday party writing this message. I will rewrite back to 5 stars if you guys find the flaw in this programming since it changed about 7-8 months ago.
Scam

Good to Bad
by Juliuskempster on 2020/02/23 04:58
I started using this app before it’s drastic update, and it’s pricing variant came about; I used it for everything under the sun. While it was free, I grew very comfortable with what was being offered to me, I knew the ins and the outs, and without a doubt I’d finish in 10 minutes or less by simple proficiency. Now that it’s been changed and revised for a ‘smarter’ use, and everything I once used for free became “you must pay to use”, I didn’t find much drive for it. If it was the same app and I had to pay from the start, maybe, sure I don’t see why not. The changes aren’t in favor for me, and honestly I use it far less frequently than Photoshop on mobile. I wish it was the same app, but it isn’t. I’d give 5 stars, but perhaps if you didn’t turn what was once free into a must pay to use what we gave to you once before freely kind of app, I’d have an incline to return. We all must make money, I understand that. But taking things given for free and then making us buy what was given to us isn’t the path to go. Many new users wouldn’t understand that, but I know.
subscription problems
by Papi_loco_1 on 2020/02/22 01:28
I signed up for the $2.99/month subscription just this week. Today, I got a txt showing that $38.96 was billed to my account for a yearly subscription I didn’t sign up for. I have looked for a number to contact billing and I am unable to find any information. Very disappointed. Loved the app but this is unacceptable.

I was with you guys since your Enlight days, and I continued to use Enlight even after it was disbanded. I love this app, however, it upsets me that we have to pay for all of the same features of the Enlight App, on Photofox. My question is why offer them for free on the original app, only to create a new app with all of the same features, only now you have to pay for them?

Overpriced and inferior to the original Enlight
by jstilly on 2020/02/16 07:54
This app is inferior to the original Enlight app, which I have enjoyed using for many years. I miss having the “Artistic” and “Painting” effects very much. These features and effect could not be easily found elsewhere, andI got some great prints from using them. I would consider purchasing a subscription to have the same feature set as before. But this app is complicated, and the end results I get are not nearly as interesting or compelling. Too bad. I hope the developers eventually find a better feature set, and resurrect some of the great, easy-to-use filters they used to have in the old app. Meanwhile, I’ll find my filters elsewhere, I guess.

Predatory business practices
by Bingo16 on 2020/02/13 17:24
I paid for the old Enlight app. Then, without warning, they broke it intentionally. Want to place text? You can't. Want to create a collage? The app crashes. This was all done in one single update, not accidentally over time. They intentionally uses an app update (no iOS update involved) and destroyed functionality to try to get me to buy the "new and improved" Englight. Whatever. I supported them before, so I'll buy the new one too. Coercion, but the old app was nice. Then, I realized that I could no longer just pay once. I would need to buy a subscription. Hmm. Okay, that might be worth it. Then, I realized that to have all the same functionality as before, I would need two apps. Despicable, predatory practices. As an app developer, it makes me want to show a decompilation the old app and prove on a blog post that they intentionally destroyed functionality, but it would go against Apple policy and I would lose my developer license. I will never support intentional obselescence, when I was a purchasing customer.

I originally got Enlight and paid $4.99, I just got a new device and I am not allowed to download my original app to sign on with my current account. The enlight app is on my OLD phone which I am going to trade in so $5 are wasted on an app that does not “exist” anymore
Disappointed
by customer of 3 or so years on 2020/01/31 17:34
I had the app previously when it was just “enlight” but deleted it for a few days due to my phone being low on storage. When I went back to download it, now I have to pay for almost every feature when I had already paid for the previous version that had everything unlocked.

Can there please be a duplicate project option? I make multiple iterations of a photo and having an option to work on a duplicate project without altering the original would be great.
Sad about the upgrade
by Paxmanpaddlr on 2020/01/27 04:45
Their product is better than their business model. I had the old paid app and it did just what I needed. Now some of those tools are behind an unrealistic yearly subscription fee. C’mon folks. To compound the insult, current free version lets you edit, but then won’t let you save till you buy a subscription?!!
Love the app: could you add a select tool with copy/paste?
by ZachMehaffey on 2020/01/25 20:01
I love and use all the apps in this bundle. One thing I’m commonly wishing I had to use is a select tool with a copy/cut and paste feature inside the photofox editor.

You can get all the effects and filters for a much better price in another app. This app is ridiculously overpriced. Go use Photolab!!! It’s far superior and a fraction of the price.
Why is Enlight going?

I liked Enlight and I payed for the apps features which I really enjoy. Does Photofox offer the same features? It seems way more costly.

The app has changed
by mrsdubbya on 2020/01/18 16:37
I have always loved using Photofox by Enlight. I got a new device and had to re-download the app. It is different now and I don’t understand why it was changed. I was able to do so much on it before and now, even the simple stuff like heal, reshape, and blur cost. I used to love this app because of the “mixer” function and I do not see how to be able to do that anymore. This app is now useless to me if I am unable to do the same functions I had before.
Cash grab B.S.
by Scrubtastic on 2020/01/18 15:03
The original Enlight app worked great. I wish this photofox was a one time purchase thing- they have made basic tools like “heal” part of the pro version that you have to subscribe to. I don’t need another app quietly nicole and diming me anymore 😡 I guess they’re trying to adopt the Adobe model but... they aren’t Adobe. If you have Enlight, just stick with that version.
Enlight was better and MUCH cheaper
by Jinx Dinkum on 2020/01/17 02:30
Photofox isn’t a bad app - but it’s ridiculously overpriced, especially when compared to its predecessor, Enlight. Enlight hit the sweet spot, being amazingly powerful, simple to use, and very reasonably priced. The UI was as elegant and intuitive as I’ve seen. Photofox is comparatively muddled, with simple stuff made more difficult, and capabilities that, while useful, are well and cheaply done by other apps. There was a reason to prefer Enlight over other apps in its original incarnation. Photofox is a downgrade of Enlight at a price that makes no sense when compared to the offerings of its competitors. Consider that, for the one-time price of Photofox, I bought both iMac AND iPad versions of Affinity - with power that at least equals Photoshop. Bought, not subscribed. I honestly don’t know what Lighttricks is attempting here, but I expect a LOT more bang for the bucks they’re asking. Update: I appreciate the reply. The free capabilities of Photofox are okay, but not unique enough to justify making Photofox a part of my workflow. Full-featured Photofox is unreasonably expensive as a one-time purchase. But there are a couple other issues: Subscriptions make sense for things like video streaming and music - but not for artist’s tools. In a subscription model, an artist’s content, tools, and skills become hostages to the next renewal. Why should I invest my time in becoming skilled with tools I don’t own, and that may be changed or eliminated at any time... which raises the other issue: trust. I’m happy to pay for my tools. I would happily pay for Enlight with iOS 13 support, and understand that I shouldn’t expect eternal support for a great app for the few bucks I paid years ago. But I DO expect app developers to respect the investment I make in developing my skills, and the commitment I make to their product in making it part of my creative efforts. I choose to invest my money and time on tools I can own, from companies I can trust to respect that investment. Thanks

Not a fan of the split/upgrade
by ceedoubleubee on 2020/01/15 16:35
I’ve been using Enlight for a long time, and I love it. But with this upgrade/split all the features I love are in different apps that I have to pay for. This went from the best and easiest to use photo editor on my phone to the least convenient and most expensive.
Disappointing money grab
by jaymashattack on 2020/01/15 04:07
Absolutely loved Enlight for 5 years. So much so that I paid for it. They’re no longer supporting the Enlight app and forcing users to switch to this app which has a pretty horrific UI, not nearly as many actual usable features as the prior app, and is priced pretty extreme for a few enhanced Instagram filters. This was a quick uninstall.

by Dragreder prime on 2020/01/09 16:07
Spent the money on the original Enlight, now they came out with the overly priced BS and intentionally broke the old app so you can’t do anything with out upgrading and spending a god awful amount. This is all a scam, fix the old one or reduce the price of this nonsense. Don’t get me wrong, looks great, but the old app was just fine until you broke it and stopped offering support, forcing people to buy this, again, overly priced app.

They Just Want More Money, Not Owners
by BaranXXI on 2020/01/08 15:35
It’s clear that the users of Enlight who purchased the premium are in the ditch now because even though as a developer you have the fair right to redesign, split one app into multiple, expand your business as freely as you’d like—you can also have the decency to respect your long time users by at least having a “restore purchase”, or some sort of loyalty pricing to accommodate those that invested in your earlier app that helped bring you where you are today. I guess this is another sellout developer. When they see more money, all else fails. The worth of a user, a promoter, a long time loyal fan—is quickly sold when new opportunity with money involved starts knocking at the door.
No more text?
by buiser18 on 2020/01/07 18:46
I recently updated just now and noticed that there’s no longer a text option.
Seems to have less features that Enlight did. Sad.
by Skintaster on 2020/01/06 22:00
I used enlight for years and lived it, but eventually bought the full featured, full price version of this app since the developers will no longer support Enlight. Unfortunately, Enlight seems to be a better app than this, at least so far. Unless I’m missing something, there’s no longer any way to add text to compositions and the really useful “seamless” tool is also absent. This app is fine for adding quicky visual effects for social media, but it doesn’t seem to match the usefulness of its predecessor, which approached professional standards. Sad. I hope they correct some of the missing features with an update soon.
Trash this new version
by Justus1199 on 2020/01/06 03:40
Used this app every day for years, was curious about the “improved” version, only to find out that it does away with the contour tool in the reshape tool box, the one reason I favored this app over others. It was an elegant and powerful tool, now they want me to pay for a lesser program? Sorry, it’s useless now.

I’m sorry, it’s too good
by Nick😃😃😃 on 2019/09/14 17:31
Last year, or little bit longer, I edited my review from positive to negative because the update changed a lot of feature I got very comfortable with. Realistically, I was getting upset about something I could’ve gotten used to…and I have. Not to mention during the time I was undergoing a lot of stress, but thankfully it was short lived. This app is the absolute best for creating and editing photos, no other app does it better. It helped me make some REALLY impressive pictures I never would’ve thought I could make without this app. Sometimes I just make a picture for no real purpose other than to see if I can actually make it. I feel like with this app I’ve peaked at my editing skills; I started with a simple eraser app to this absolutely brilliant piece of art making genius. This review may sound a bit pretentious or exaggerated, but that’s how I feel about this app. People can definitely make pictures they couldn’t have been able to before and now I’m grateful that it exists.
Cash grab that isn’t even compatible with the previous version
by Lohla Lohla on 2019/10/13 13:49
It’s clear that the Enlight team puts a lot of work into making some of the best editing software for phones, but I feel like they did not do a lot of market research into how most users are using their software. The original app was one of the best and most robust apps for quick editing and retouching, as well as making simple macros — which is how I’ve mainly used it. Just downloaded photofox and it’s clear there’s a lot more power here but the UI is grating and not intuitive. For example — I’m trying to zoom on a single layer to use a brush. It keeps RESIZING THE WHOLE LAYER. I can’t lock it, so I can’t get precise detail working on the image. I’m not spending 15 more minutes figuring it out because that’s not what I used enlight for. It’s not photoshop — I don’t want to take a tutorial, I want to quickly edit something. Needs a lot of work especially since they’re asking for a sizable subscription. I have no confidence buying it outright since I know they’ll just drop support for a prior app that users paid for once they’re done with it and want to get some more cash flowing.
Aggravated that I’m being forced to switch from Enlight OG
by Altair Abdul Khabir (Kyle) on 2019/11/20 00:49
I’m sure Enlight Photofox is great and all, but I enjoyed the original Enlight and back then I could just use it after paying $4.99 and that was that. Now they will be dropping support and removing it from the appstore so if i have to reset my phone I lose an app I paid $4.99 for and now like most developers in this age of micro transactions its subscription only so how is that a fair trade? If I’m being strongarmed to eventually upgrade then as a previously paid customer either the pro features should be free or at the bare minimum the subscription HEAVILY reduced. I love Lighttricks apps, don’t get me wrong, but I’m feeling a bit screwed over and gonna get ripped off for $4.99 in the end. If this is the common business practice these days there’s always more reasonable apps to switch to with a one time paid price. I get the whole “subscriptions incentivize new features” thing but what was included with enlight version 1 should be made available to users like me and any extra features I could buy in app as a add on...
Was great until asked to buy again
by homegrownhunting on 2018/04/27 18:28
Loved the app. I’ve used it for a couple of years. People like me who bought it when it was getting on its feet are the backbone of the app. Now I’m being asked to subscribe in order to use new updates and some features that I have always used aren’t available unless I subscribe or pay a one time fee. I feel I was duped and tricked. How can you sell someone an app , the paid full version, and turn around a couple years later and ask them to pay more money (actually an absurd amount for what other apps are now offering for free). This is the first review I’ve ever wrote because I generally don’t rock the boat, but this is completely unfair. Shame on you for taking my money so the app could grow and then take away what I paid for to start with and ask for more money for the initial features and future features. I’m sure I’ll get a response of “we’re sorry you feel this way.” When the response should be “Thank you for buying our app and your account is now open for you to enjoy all our features because if it weren’t for people like you who backed us when we were small , we would have never gotten off the ground.”
Good to Bad
by Juliuskempster on 2020/02/23 04:58
I started using this app before it’s drastic update, and it’s pricing variant came about; I used it for everything under the sun.
App Update Problems
by **Randa** on 2019/10/24 01:19
So I use this app a lot with my Page I manage and it helps out a lot! It is one of my favorite apps out of all of them! But since the new update I am unable to Text and press the done buttons! When I go in to edit, it lets me type but it will not let me push the done button and go back to the picture to finish the project! I am extremely disappointed because this is the only editing app I use and I feel I am going to have to download a new one to use! I’m not a fan of the other ones because this one has more I can do with it and I also know this app better than the rest, which makes it easier and quicker for me to finish my project! Please help me figure out this problem and get it resolved so I don’t have to download and learn a whole new app! Other than that this app has been great and easy to use! If I could just figure out what is going on I will continue to use this one!
THE photo editor for iPhone
by ThePoillon on 2018/07/27 22:38
I've owned several dozen apps for photography, but this is the one I always, *ALWAYS*, come back to. I wish I could put examples up on here of before and after images, but suffice it to say it can transform even the blandest image I've taken by mistake with the camera app open into an image worthy of wall space. I rarely review apps and even rarer still recommend apps, so I hope it speaks loudly enough to it's abilities when I say that I've got a bachelor of fine art with a concentration in photography, and I've had work displayed in two Smithsonian Museums as well as the SF Museum of Modern Art...and this is the app I'd give up all other 3rd party photo apps to keep. It really is nothing short of brilliant, and while most apps are limited by a users' imagination, I've found that this gem is powerful enough to greatly expand even that.
Almost Pro
by Abutting query on 2018/03/06 19:58
It's a great app, I use it all the time for serious graphic design work on the go. But it's missing a few key features I'd really love to see. Guys, can you please give us the ability to turn snapping on and off?!? Can't tell you how much time I've spent wrestling against the snapping feature try to place a layer where I want it to go. Seems ridiculous it's still not an option. Have you tried your own app? Because I can't imagine using the app even once without experiencing the frustration I'm referring to. Also, it's missing some important blend modes like linear burn, add (although plus lighten comes close, misses sometimes), linear light, difference and exclusion. And although the heal tool works great most of the time, it won't work on any surface that's pure black. This aspect of the tool is more limiting than enabling, though I get why they did it this way. Maybe an additional stamp/clone tool to compensate would be in order? Also, the "urban" art feature is cool, except all the background images are in lo-res. C'mon guys, really ?? Very least it should be possible to import your own hi-res images to be used as the background. Lastly, you should be able to use a layer as a mask, or even import a photo that's converted to b&w and used as mask, the way "Union" by Pixite does it. Add these features and it's the perfect platform worthy of any price!!
Upset about the Update, can’t start from blank canvas
by T-Real33 on 2018/11/11 01:10
I use Photofox for more than just photo editing and I personally believe it is the best app on the market for editing. I don’t like the fact that in the update I can’t start a new project with a blank canvas instead I have to start with a picture and then go Darkroom settings and alter the Offset setting just to make a white or black canvas. That’s very annoying. It seems like you reverted that part to the basic Enlight app settings and I don’t appreciate it. I feel like your trying too hard be a photo editing app when you can just be an overall editing and graphic design app. Don’t try and please people by taking away parts of the app that make it unique. Please add back the feature where I could start a project with a blank canvas and choose the size of that canvas. SMH.
Exactly what I was looking for
by ChiroBat on 2018/12/29 22:25
All the other phone photo editors I could find before were very limited in what they could do. Just preset filters with stickers and minimal effects. When I found this app, I was skeptical to be sure, but hopeful. To my upmost delight, it has layers...and masks, even without paying a cent! There’s a decent amount of things you can do, but like all good programs, it’s better if you pay, and I definitely appreciate that there’s different plans to fit different budgets. However, there’s probably no need to pay if you’ll only be using it casually. There’s still plenty to do without it. I’ve only started to dabble in the possibilities, and I’m excited for what I can make. It’s no desktop photoshop, but it’s the best program I’ve been able to find for iPhone, and I plan on using it for years to come.

I love this app, it’s the best, best photo app I have ever used and have had but I want to use a lot of the stuff you can use but u have to get the pro or whatever it’s called to have all the editing buttons, so I was like ok I’m going to upgrade my app to have all the stuff and then I saw how much money it is!!!!!😵😵😵😵😵🤯🤯 for a photo editing app!!!!! I get it this app is so great but if u changed it to where u can get it all for 5 bucks, more people and I would definitely would upgrade this app, but if all u want is money 🤑 that much money then no thanks I will just keep my little bit of editing buttons but over all it’s great but I would definitely change the fact of how much money🤑🤑 u want from us to upgrade this app, that’s the only reason I gave it a 4 but if u change that one thing about money, it would definitely be a 5 or even higher
Takes up a lot of memory if not Careful
by Jessclay1983 on 2018/05/04 14:25
Love this app! I use it just as a simple photo editor. I haven’t got into much of the combing photos together features, etc so this is really just for editing basics. I did notice my phone memory was very low and couldn’t figure out why. Comes to find out each project you open in Photofox is Saved in the app. I had 670 projects saved in the app- after I also saved each individual photo on my phone. Photofox doesn’t have a way to multi select projects and delete in bulk so I had to individually delete each of the 670 projects one at a time. It would be great if you could add a feature to multi select those projects and delete. After deleting each project I added 50% of memory back to my phone. So it does take up a ton of space if you don’t remember to delete the projects when you’re done. Other than that, I love it 😊
Brilliant and yes, the Heal Tool works brilliantly as well!
by MadManMark on 2018/06/03 17:41
I am a medical doctor and have no relationship with and have never met anyone associated with PhotoFox. PhotoFox is about as significant as Photoshop and easier to use. If new user follows the tutorials, they will become proficient in the use of PhotoFox very quickly! As a graphic hobbyist, I am as enthusiastic about PhotoFox as I was when I first learned to use it. I highly recommend PhotoFox Pro as it uses layers to alter photos and drawing to create beautiful photo projects. It is these layers that make PhotoFox-Pro an extremely powerful in the world of photo manipulation. I say this as an owner of every other photo manipulation software out there (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Polarr, Pixelmator, DTF... you name it I have it.) Enlight PhotoFox and PhotoFox Pro are the ones that I use 98% of the time. You are missing out out if you haven’t used PhotoFox. I love it!
Pathetic
by Robot sheep on 2019/10/20 09:06
I bought the old enlight app and loved it, I was on it all the time so to see a perfectly good app get taken down made me curious so I got this one and everything seemed all well and good until i started trying to add multiple layers of pictures and text and I was very disappointed to find that the only way I could do this was to buy the pro version. Now me being a 16 year old kid doesn’t want to pay something like $70 dollars for the pro version when previously I had an app that I had no complaints about. It’s honestly sad to see companies get this money hungry, I have already payed for the first app and can’t use it not even knowing if I got a refund for it or not, now I have to put up this this app that will charge me every time I click a button. I think it’s pretty unfair that I was forced to switch apps and then pay an insane amount of money for something that I already bought in the first place. Although nobody will probably see this and I know this won’t make a difference I had to vent somehow so thank you,

I was literally just looking at this app and then the app combo popped up which I thought meant u can just click once to download all 4 apps instead of clicking download 4 different times. So I click the “get” button so I can download and preview the apps to see if I like them and all of a sudden after they have downloaded, it says PURCHASED!! What???!! How did that happen? And that was not my intention. While I would love to have these apps and I’m sure they’re lovely, I don’t have the money at the moment for this. I’m not even going to open these apps bc I need help to resolve and fix this situation I’m in. It all happened so fast- and I don’t even know what happened or how this happened. Help me please! THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL APP!
by awesomekid88349 on 2019/01/05 19:19
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This app is the best photo editing app I have ever used... No watermark (That’s a big thing for me cause it drives me NUTS when an app is cool but they have a huge watermark and you have to pay tons of money to get it removed), WONDERFUL blending and other options even without Pro, not saying you shouldn’t get Pro, it has MANY other amazing features!, and it’s just the best. I DEFINITELY give this app 5 stars! It’s so awesome- especially the competitions! THANKS YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Keep on making AWESOME apps just like this one! This is good that I am actually convinced I should get the Pro! If apps ask “Pay to remove watermark” and all other stuff... I just delete the app. I don’t want to waste my money. But this app... My money will be worth it! Thank you again, wonderful creator(s) of this app!

Anyone who gave a bad review only complains about the price. They never complain about the app’s functionality, features, or anything other than the $4/month Pro version. Let me tell you this, those reviewers are poor saps who want everything for nothing. These reviewers are fools and tools. For what you can do, in terms of editing features, for such a small price, and short learning curve, this app is by far the best I’ve used. I also love the Facebook private community and outreach campaign the company stirs up via their social marketing. For $4 bucks a month I get the most out of it. If you’re looking to edit just a couple images for a lame IG account, then get something else. For real professionals, amateurs, and editing enthusiasts, this is the rockstar of apps.
Hate it.
by Z Becker on 2020/03/03 04:52
I have been using the original Enlight App for a long time and I love it.

So I looked up 1 time purchase for the best of the best being adobe (actually ranked 2; but can be used on multi platforms so that’s number 1 to me) which is $699 following the same model as lighttricks; a subscription to keep a low price which was aimed at students. After seeing this my previous thoughts of cash grab was altered; due to that I don’t have powerful computer just a iPad 2017 model; price seems fair cause I can produce great results. - 1 star support link goes to void and can’t animate a session but you can Enlight 1? And remember lady and gents companies pay other companies to inflate their ratings due to this and actual people don’t take the time to learn the product; you have to take the time and do research and come to your own conclusion.
Old Enlight was better
by MissIndependent58 on 2019/11/21 17:11
As many others have said, I was using Enlight religiously for several years and it worked perfectly for all of my needs. As minor as it is, it’s one of the only places I can intentionally invert colors as a filter. I downloaded the app again after maybe a few months of not using it only to find the UI changed so much I no longer knew where to access any features and the ones I needed were now listed as paid for features. Even if some features had been locked, I could have maybe swallowed that pill if it was the same familiar Enlight app that I had been using for years and knew my way around. However having to basically pay for a complete different app that doesn’t even fulfill my needs anymore? It’s not happening. I’ll find a different app if I must, but I deeply regret that I’ll no longer be able to use the familiar Enlight app I’ve been loyal to for years.
Love it but wish it had more
by lordtay002 on 2019/06/30 12:35
To me this is the best photoshop alternative that’s simple but has almost have all the features I need. One being I wish we could rename photos when I save it to the cloud but it’s just one extra step so that’s not huge. Another one is creating different size documents, I’m willing to pay extra for that feature. A 3rd feature, but I can see how it won’t be and I sorta found a way to work around it, is to save it other than a png, particularly as a tiff (in high quality) and or eps due to the layers and I can work on it later on the desktop if needed. Again I’m willing to pay more for that last feature, but other than that this app is amazing and prefer it over affinity and Pixelmator.
Best creative app I’ve found.
by 1BustedFlush on 2018/05/13 07:20
Photofox is a great tool for enhancing photos, as good as any out there but where it really shines is when you want to do more. I work in photoshop professionally and wanted to find a app for IPhone that would allow me to work on photos and graphics in a similar way. After trying several others I downloaded Photofox’s free version. I couldn’t believe what ‘free version’ of Photofox could do but when I upgraded to the paid version I was amazed. From photo enhancing, to making memes, to creating works of art, Photofox far exceeded my expectations especially at the price. I don’t mean to say it is an equal to Photoshop’s but with multiple layers, an eraser tool , prebuilt effects, lots of presets, a title tool and a little creativity you can do a lot.
Great Photo App but too expensive
by Makidigital on 2018/03/31 08:40
This app would get 5 stars if the buy to own price weren’t so steep. $60 to own is a bit over the top. I really want to unlock it’s full potential because I could see this being my new “Everything” photo edit app but not for $60. Im checking here and there to see if they put the one time purchase fee on 1/2 off sale like they do the annual price because $30 I could justify spending but not $60. I’m not saying it’s not worth $60..the polish of this app alone is top notch but $30-$40 is usually the price for a decent non-pro photo editing suite so I compare it to that. Until then I’m still using my other photo app that I won’t mention because that’s rude to push a competitor’s app in another app review.
Just buy the $3.99 original Enlight. Do not pay for this
by Gghdghfehjfdchy on 2019/02/15 22:53
I loved the original app and how affordable it was for the price. It had a lot a features that I personally used. But then they added this app. Which essentially has the same features as the original, they just removed most of them for free users. I was happily ready to pay the full price, but then I saw that the price is absurd for what is a really basic photo editor. $70 for the one time fee! That’s $76 more just for little more features than what the original had. For crying out loud it’s a basic photo editor. You can get Affinity Photo, which has many many more features than Photofox, I think it is the photo editor with the most features on iPad, and is only $20. I think I’ll stick with the original, thank you.
BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by MidnightHowl2437 on 2019/02/28 03:26
You do not have to pay to get in and most of the stuff is not pro and almost no adds!!!!!!! You can save to camera roll for free and without adds. It gives a free tutorial!!!!!! It is my new favorite game!!!!!! Make sure to download this app!!!!! If you did not ir missing out on a lot, and you can barely edit ur photos. But if you download this app you are complete, and you can easily edit ur photos with just a couple of clicks!!! The best part is it is free and you don’t have a time limit for long you do it! And also you can use your photos, take photos, or use the web for photos!!!!! And I can not find one bad thing to say about this app!!!!!
DO NOT GET THIS APP! Impossible to cancel
by Korismartysmart on 2019/12/08 16:57
I subscribed to this app and it took three months to cancel it. Each month I had to call apple directly to have them cancel it, and yet the subscription kept on charging my account. They are, quite simply, operating illegally. I have a screen shot of 2 separate months where it said “expired subscription” on my subscription file on my phone, while receiving a simultaneous bill saying “renewed subscription” on my billing invoice. I had to call Apple ID people, and both times they said that because it said “expires on —— date” it will automatically cancel. This is false because each month I would get a receipt where it says “renews on —— date”. This process was infuriating and after three months of this in a row, I finally spent 45 minutes with a supervisor at APPLE ID to cancel it manually. A few cool pictures are NOT worth the trouble.
NOT an update to the original Enlight..
by Brian Mel on 2019/11/05 15:29
This company proves they only care about ROI over having a solid product with happy customers. Enlight was highly regarded by just about everyone that reviewed it as being the best editing app available. I have used Enlight almost daily for years. To the point I paid the lifetime subscription. Then shortly after I start getting pop ups telling me to buy another app (Photofox) because they are discontinuing Enlight. Why?? The company blames Apple for the changes. Yet all of my other apps work fine. More likely the company did not want to pay the costs of redesigning the app to meet Apple’s new requirements and forced all of its users into a completely new app which has ‘in-app’ purchases. I use both Photofox and Enlight. They are COMPLETELY different apps. One is not an upgrade from the other. They both do different functions and have strengths and weaknesses which is why I had to use both simultaneously. The company claims you can add text, Meme’s, photo collages and special framing like in Enlight which I used ALL the time. However, I searched everywhere and cannot find the button for these things. If you email the company about a technical question they respond only if they feel they have to repair their reputation.
Truly Awesome!
by jaysnuh on 2019/01/24 20:14
I have been using this app for only a few days, but I LOVE IT! As an amateur photographer and photo editor, I love that it’s so easy to use! The fact that is has a huge library of beautiful photos is wonderful too. The only complaint I might have is that you can only use two layers per project if you don’t have Enlight Photofox Pro. I would really appreciate it if we could have just one or two more layers to work with without having the subscription. It can get a bit frustrating to only have two to work with when you’re a broke student with a big goal. Anyway, truth be told, I have never had more fun editing and creating photos, and I really love this app. I recommend it to all! ☺️
Ridiculous
by NickE7373 on 2019/10/07 22:37
I purchased the original Enlight a few years ago. It was Ana amazing app until it stopped working today and crashed every time I tried to do anything on it. I figured I would just delete the app and redownload it. No big deal. Come to find out you can’t redownload the old app and now I have lost hundreds of photos I have saved and edited over the years. As if that wasn’t bad enough, now my original purchase is completely null and void. If you have the old app- save all of your saved and unsaved photos to your photos on your phone before you change apps because they do not carry over. I will not be purchasing the new app and I sure feel scammed that the original $15 I spent on the app is gone now unless I want to pay $80. Ridiculous business model. I’d love my money back for the app I can no longer use
I love the original app.
by Olai Black on 2019/09/29 20:55
I’ve checked out Photofox, and it’s just way more than I need. I’ve been using your original app for years. It’s the perfect basic editor. I use the mixer to quickly overlay something. I love the filters, and I find it smooth and intuitive. I’d be. We happy to pay a modest subscription fee to keep it. I’ve tried the new apps, and they’re amazing. That being said, they’re way more than I need and much more money than I want to spend. I’d be very happy to spend a few dollars a month for the original app. I hope you keep supporting it. Many thanks. PS: my five star review is for the original Enlight.
Duplicate feature?
by TNT 620 on 2019/07/23 03:54
I absolutely love every thing about this app! One of the best and easiest photo edit apps I’ve used. ONE ISSUE or thing I haven’t figured out (and I don’t know if it’s just not a function or if I don’t know how to find it) BUT I would love to be able to duplicate a previous project and save it under a new file name so I can reuse previous created templates. I use this app to edit photos, create memes, and social media content as well. So, if it does have this feature could you please comment what I need to do to find it. And if it isn’t part of the infa structure I think it would be a great feature to add. (Save And duplicate option. Then I would FOR SURE CHANGE MY RATING TO 5 STARS. Thanks.
Wrong Pricing Model
by topspinguy on 2017/10/01 17:36
Yes, the app is good, but I'm ready to cancel my subscription as soon as my 3 free months come to an end. I am not cheap. I've purchased literally almost every photo and graphics app for iOS, but I cannot support the hefty subscription model, or the overpriced one-time purchase price. There are many one-time purchase price points between $0 and $40 that would be much more appropriate and would at the same time expand your happy user base. Would I pay $10? Absolutely. Would I pay $15? I likely would. Would I pay $20 one time? I likely would, but I believe that would be the upper limit for an app in this category. It's fun and creative, but not necessary nor life saving. I would rather you revise your one time purchase price now, rather than wait until you have alienated and burned through your entire existing customer base. Just my 2¢.
Pro or Not 5 Star
by Paindeer? Hey on 2017/12/15 17:31
I don’t have Enlight or pro, and I don’t necessarily plan on spending money on it anytime soon. But I absolutely love this app! It’s got several great features for free and looks like some amazing ones I really want to have the money for. I like the ability to customize the brushes such as the eraser and doodle. I have never seen this in any other photo editing app. I enjoy the simplicity and yet ability to do complex things. I love what I can do with these photos with Photofox! I really wanted to leave a good review because I’ve been on this app maybe way too much and nobody ever knows what I’m talking about.
Needs 2 improvments.
by imsosorryandilikelikeyouthanks on 2019/04/21 16:24
Hi, I find this app very cool. Its just that things are kinda expensive. Like the ‘Pro’. I don’t know how to use much of the tools very well, so I wish you could explain every tool? I also wish there were a little more pictures in stock, I enjoy the app because I make really cute art on it, but I wish you could just fix these little things in the app. Please also respownd! But when i frist got this i thoght it was like you make a people and play games but i was worng,Now that i have been playing this game so much i love this game im like the best pro EVER,Thank you for making this game i love it,Also Please Respownd!
Great App!!
by Loladoesn'tgiveabuck on 2018/11/16 12:26
I really enjoy this app, I think it is great for editing. I like that there is many different things you can do to the pictures and I really like that you can blend 2 or more pictures at a time, many apps do not have that option. I definitely recommend getting this app, and I would be giving it 5 stars but I do think it is a little confusing at first and I do like that they did a little demo for you to kind of give you the feel of doing it yourself but after that there wasn’t a help button or anything to click on. Other than that though the app is excellent for editing and I really like the options it gives you!
Free? Revised Review
by SG-RVA on 2018/06/03 04:36
I’m revising my review because it isn’t fair for me to say what I said when it was operator error that caused the issue. I’m giving 4 stars instead of one. I’m still not good at using the functions but it does what they say it will for free. Here was my original review for reference. I apologize if anyone made a choice to not try this out for their self based on what I wrote!!! I downloaded so that I could test it out since support kept saying how great free version still is. I didn’t opt in for any payment and it went to a screen saying tap here to start and froze. It’s not my phone either, working with iPhone X so there should be no issues. Disappointing.
Kind of disappointed
by tgb623 on 2019/09/06 02:10
I purchased this app since it first came out. I used it all of the time. I don’t do anything special. Add words, make a collage. With this new update I have to figure everything out again and some of the things I liked and used are gone. Replacing them are constant pop ups to subscribe. I know there are people that really use all of the features, but I just want something to edit a photo. I don’t want to pay even more money every month to use an app I already paid for once. This isn’t the only app that’s doing this, I’ve had to delete apps asking for a monthly fee to use them. THAT’S what is disappointing.
Disappointed with the “upgrade”
by Errkaderrka6415 on 2019/10/11 17:13
With Enlight being phased out and replaced with Photofox, I would’ve expected the same features to be available in both of the free versions. But this isn’t the case; the heal, patch and target features are only available now with the Pro version of Photofox when they were available in the free version of Enlight. Photofox also feels like a more “a five-year old can use it” type app, rather than one geared towards photographers. If I recall correctly, Photoshop did the same thing with their app and lost a ton of customers. In my opinion, Enlight was much better than Photofox, and I’m very disappointed the company decided to go with this “forget the customer, make as much money as we can” route. Photofox may be a good option for some, but it is no longer an app I will be using.
Really?
by Your.Friend.E on 2019/04/28 21:02
Charging for features that are already FREE for users that ONE TIME PURCHASE the original Enlight app. I would understand this app had the exact features of the original for FREE and then charge for newer and different ones but that’s not the case. Also I don’t appreciate the message on an update that was made to Enlight app stating that they will still support the app for now. That’s not ok, I understand there’s money to be made but don’t take away something that people purchased on your own terms of a one time purchase. If the objective was to have a monthly, yearly, permanent purchase charge, then you should’ve executed that business model from the start. That way you guys wouldn’t have had to make a new app that’s so similar but with a different look and name to get that business model up and running.
Don’t get me wrong
by Kcm1989 on 2017/09/22 20:55
I completely understand that it takes money to run a business and to make improvements but I feel the quality of the product itself should be enough to sell mass amounts of downloads at a low fixed rate and through this the creators can make a fair amount of money . considering after all that most users are using this for phone photography , and most iOS phones although great at taking photographs , aren’t the gold standard for photography ... Youd figure for that amount you can just buy desktop software . I understand the portability of this being on a phone but you also have to be fair when considering the medium .if you were using a 12 megapixel digital camera ... it’s just not logical to pay a recurring fee or the high amount you’re charging .
Bring back old version
by subsdejulie on 2019/12/28 04:28
I loved my enlight Photofox, but then it was upgraded and i could not get it to open anymore. I had to get the new version and had to pay all over again. The new version barely does anything. I think they want you to buy the 4 variations to do all that you could before in one app. I can no longer heal or add text. The only reason I have it at all, is that it’s great for me aging photos by letting you erase the background and then overlay. I really wish I could still use the one that still is the only one that comes up in all the tutorials if I google for help.
👍
by Rc Hacon on 2019/11/20 18:25
I am happy with Enlight Photofox. The tutorials provided opened up a whole new world of creative opportunities. I love the layers feature, and I am extremely impressed with the “quick edit” additions. I purchased the pro-version because I use all of the features, and there simply is no other app out there that offers this much power and complexity. There is a bit of a learning curve, but give it a chance. There are plenty of resources available to get you started. I definitely recommend checking out the Facebook group and tutorials.
Just assume use the original. Not recommended
by The_orange_mob on 2019/01/24 00:07
So the first Enlight app was GREAT! Not only is it a fare price but, it is way better then other photo editing apps, with lots of great features, that you don’t usually find on phone apps. It was just well thought out and over all a great app. When I downloaded Enlight Photofox I was surprisingly disappointed! It had almost all the same features plus some witch is great. But to get all the features you have to pay an unreasonable high price. There are just enough features that you can’t use, that you might as well just use the original Enlight. It’s just not worth it. Performance wise I would give Enlight Photofox 5 stars but, to get more then just the basic features you have to pay an price that is extremely to high. So I would just assume use the original Enlight ( witch I gave 5 stars all around ). So all around I’m going to give this app 3 stars and, I’m not going to recommend it. P.S. I really think that enlight can do better and has done better.
Almost perfect but slight issue...
by AppRaterSnake on 2019/06/25 22:58
Ok. This app is absolutely brilliant. I’ve never seen anything like it before, and it’s great even without the pro version. Probably the best photo editing app I’ve ever seen. I have one slight issue though. When I don’t have the pictures saved to the camera roll, they delete by the next time I open the app. I’d like to have them saved within the app. Don’t know if this is just me or a whole-app issue, but I’d like to know why this is. I’d give a 5 star review if this problem were to be fixed. I entirely recommend this app though, despite the one issue.
Surprisingly impressive
by the al fonz on 2019/02/02 06:19
With iOS photo apps you expect nifty gimmicks, ya rarely luck out and find something that adds to your workflow. For this reason I am shocked at the utility of this app for legit photography. Want to clone out defects, compile multiple files as layers, select and mask backgrounds, check. You can even modify the canvas sizes. My biggest criticisms would be that it’s loaded with effects and filters that you cannot intricately modify and this gives the apps a gimmicky feel at first. But you will be shocked at how many “pro” functions this app can do.

AVOID.
Watermark

No crop?

No thanks. Such a shame.

by Buckwheat Fujimoto on 2020/03/29 16:18
So glad I read the reviews before updating.

Great app - bad business

80 bucks? Have you lot your mind? Pretty sure the vast majority of reviews are people who are using the app for free. Apply your filter then just take a screen grab. Insane!

Hate it.
by Z Becker on 2020/03/03 04:52
I have been using the original Enlight App for a long time and I love it.
For less.

by Huyness on 2020/02/26 00:04
The program is very cool but $70 is highway robbery.

Good to Bad
by Juliuskempster on 2020/02/23 04:58
I started using this app before it’s drastic update, and it’s pricing variant came about; I used it for everything under the sun.

Thanks

Scam Developers!

Overpriced
by The Mug Life App Advisor on 2020/01/12 18:13
Please lower the prices. I think 69.99 is too high for a final purchase. It needs to be lowered down really far.

Scam!
by Dragreder prime on 2020/01/09 16:07
Spent the money on the original Enlight, now they came out with the overly priced BS and intentionally broke the old app so you can’t do anything with out upgrading and spending a god awful amount.

Love it but one problem
by Jazzepants on 2018/05/29 09:10
I love this app, it’s the best, best photo app I have ever used and have had but I want to use a lot of the stuff you can use but u have to get the pro or whatever it’s called to have all the editing buttons, so I was like ok I’m going to upgrade my app to have all the stuff and then I saw how much money it is!!!!!😵😵😵😵😵🤯🤯 for a photo editing app!!!!!

Solid as it gets
by Steve Boerner on 2018/05/30 23:33
Anyone who gave a bad review only complains about the price.
Research
by ursoc brew on 2017/12/29 10:31
So I looked up 1 time purchase for the best of the best being adobe (actually ranked 2; but can be used on multi platforms so that’s number 1 to me) which is $699 following the same model as lighttricks; a subscription to keep a low price which was aimed at students.
