Not enough export settings. Doesn’t match the original bit rate so you end up with files twice the size of the original To the dev: I gave my honest opinion. I’m not going to use an app that doubles the bit rate of the original even if it’s free.
Does not render!!!
by Nursealpha on 2020/08/03 10:53
It's a simple video editing app for your quick snaps but it can't render videos!!! Always render unsuccessful! Their support website said it is related to battery level. I charged my phone but still it doesn't render any videos which make Rush a useless video editing app. Don't waste your time with this until they develop a fix for this! 😡😡😡
Amazing
by iikingxxii on 2020/08/03 09:04
This makes it easy to export audio put text and everything this has really helped out on my YouTube career!
Great but needs some fixes
by ushdbchdudhdndncj on 2020/08/02 22:33
I love this app because it is probably the best video editor you’ll find on an iOS device, but there is one problem, the playback performance is not that great. If you make one edit (split, trim, delete etc.) it won’t allow you to playback the video until after about a minute and a half. It might just be my device but pls fix if possible
Premiere Rush

Not good

I was very disappointed with the service given it was terrible lagging and it took a long time to load I DONT recommend this app to anybody at all
Decent app but needs bug fixes.
by I<3Scams on 2020/08/02 17:23
Let me start by saying it’s better and easier to use than most video apps for iphone, but that is likely because I edit in premiere pro. There are some improvements that could greatly improve this app: 1. Being able to add more than just four layers of video / audio tracks respectively. It should be expanded to at least six, especially for complicated edits. 2. When editing titles/texts, sometimes Rush is unresponsive to changes. These changes include changing font, text size, or color. I ended up having to duplicate it to make it work—but sometimes even the duplications were unresponsive, leading to having to create a new title even though I had centered this title how I wanted it. It’s a major hassle and quite annoying. 3. When trying to copy text directly in the type bar, I could only select and delete it. Minor issue as you can “duplicate” an element, but I was trying to copy what I was writing for saving purposes, not duplicate as a new element. I have only just started using rush so there may be more bugs I have not experienced yet as I have been mostly working with titles and resizing video elements. I will update this review in the future, but as a general note, the closer this can get to Premiere Pro, the better.
By FAR the best video editing software— ported to mobile
by i love overwatch 2446 on 2020/08/02 04:07
This is NOT your usual mobile editor. Adobe is known for Premiere, so my expectations were high. They blew me away. The speed and stability is surprisingly good for a desktop app on mobile. Not much you could ask for. The feature set is all you need in a mobile app and more. Adobe, PLEASE do this with After Effects.
The best

I was able to make what I wanted with ease
Slow
by mr cabloopy on 2020/07/31 01:44
This editor is pretty slow, it took a while to load the video I had edited, longer than it should take. I was even right next to my WiFi router. I seems like a good editor if it wasn’t slow.
Video’s off track
by JarekLondonTV on 2020/07/30 20:43
The app is good, but I’m having some problems, when I played the video. I knew something was off. The picture of the video wasn’t matching with the audio. I didn’t edit it yet once I played the video. Please fix the problem.
Doesn’t render
by Tattoolover2010 on 2020/07/30 19:34
Have been trying to render and force closes the application. Changed the quality to a lower one and still force closes. Battery at 100% and guess what still force closes. I have been trying with this application but please fix these bugs. Been doing this for 3 hours and I use it for work.
WHAT
by snskiwddios on 2020/07/30 17:16
Can you even call this editing you literally can not edit. All you can do is resize it, Change the color of your video and that’s about it.
Do not get this app.
by lovenick18 on 2020/07/30 01:08
Horrible app that constantly crashes. No reason an app should have this many issues. Hands down the worst app I’ve ever experienced.
Not Surprised
by Ze French Team on 2020/07/29 23:14
I got this app about 4-5 days ago and I liked it. I was able to put in some titles that I liked and graphics. I did one video excited to make more and out of nowhere! No joke 5mins ago! All of a sudden everything is blocked pretty much unless you pay for Premium. What’s the point of making this app “free” if you’re just going to charge for everything after anyways? Adobe please either make it a one time $4.99 paying app, or leave it free and put all the options in there. You have more than enough money that you don’t need to be pushing for Premium in every app.
Updates
by thelitgirl😎 on 2020/07/29 18:32
Please, I’m begging y’all to add things like more layers, better font(they all look the same, and it’ll be nice if you can see what the font your choosing actually looks like), freeze frame, green screen, motion zoom, but especially MORE LAYERS!!

by Leyla NYC on 2020/07/29 15:01
As per rush app it says I don’t have enough space to export however I have used 108gb out of my 256 gb iPhone XR outside of my 256gb i also have an additional 2TB package and have used 10% of 2TB and I have massive space to export. I have called apple support and as per them I have plenty of space to export this 6.5gb video. Don’t understand why I’m receiving a message like this. As per apple support they told me to reach out rush because this message is inaccurate and must be a bug or glitch on your end please resolve and fix ASAP I’m paying for a service, that I’m not able to receive Wish I could provide the screenshots for everyone to see

by X21llk55 on 2020/07/28 23:04
Look this app is ok.But there are a few problems.1.App crashes a lot.2.exporting takes forever. And 3.You only have 4 videos tracks and 3 audio tracks. So if you are going download this app just keep in mind that these problems will happen to you.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
by TinkyJoy on 2020/07/28 16:49
This is THE most frustrating video editing app i have EVER worked with. HOURS and HOURS of work all wasted. App always crashes on the render. Save your self time, tears, and frustration and GET A DIFFERENT APP!
Love the app so much

Good app
by Phawckynfolk on 2020/07/27 21:58
Very good app how ever I couldn’t give it 5 stars cause I had to do the ice pack trick too because it kept crashing when trying to render but besides that everything was pretty easy to use and fast to learn will keep using and hope you fix the problem.
iPhone XR
by PatrikKovac13 on 2020/07/27 18:03
Keeps crashing on my iPhone XR every 15-20 seconds. Nothing is running in the background and the phone has loads of memory free.
Amazing Phone App
by elmovelli on 2020/07/27 05:27
I really want to give this app a 5 star rating but I can’t for a minor but annoying detail. This app is amazing for anyone trying to get into phone video editing. And it definitely is easy to make pretty awesome videos. Nothing can beat a desktop set up but this is pretty darn good. The capabilities for this free app are amazing. The only draw back is the crashing. At times when you try to move a clip or picture too far down a timeline the app crashes. This goes for any attempt to slide a single clip over 30 secs of play time. My advise do it in short increments to avoid the app crashing. Other than that minor detail I have no quarrels with this app! Would hands down recommend this to all friends and family!

by segpark on 2020/07/26 23:17
It crashes so many times! Thankfully most of the work is saved before it crashes but it poses a real hindrance when I’m trying to be productive.
Love it!
by gdariyal on 2020/07/26 17:51
Very handy to edit, add music and export on mobile! Super intuitive and easy to use coming from premiere pro on Mac. And even without prior editing experience it’s pretty simple and user friendly.

Love ADOBE RUSH but....
by Lmuyis on 2020/07/25 13:59
I love Adobe RUSH but it crashes every single time I try to export. It is July, 2020! Adobe please do better. With your brand I expect more. I’m going to putting my phone on ice-pack like one of the reviews said but if I need an ice-pack to successfully export then it should be included with purchase.
Great app! Not so great performance.
by AsianPlays on 2020/07/24 21:27
As far as my experience goes, the app is just too unoptimized. The most reoccurring issues are frozen frames and random audio cuts. The app is nearly unusable and makes the editing experience far worse. Granted if the optimization was improved, this would be my go to editing software but for now, it’s not the right choice.
3 free exports disappeared
by Hueyblueyjewy on 2020/07/24 18:41
Used only 1 export and now it only Offers me the option to buy the $10 a month plan. I would have given 5 stars if the 3 free exports didn’t just disappear. And of Course it didn’t show me the exports had disappeared until after I edited a video. So the time I spent editing the video was wasted because I can’t use the video unless I want to pay for their expensive monthly Plan. Just do what you said when I downloaded the app and give me the 3 free exports. Just do your job, do what you said, keep your word. It’s not that hard.
I LOVE this app!
by lilahgirl4602 on 2020/07/24 12:43
YALL FR THO DOWNLOAD THIS APP! Just did my first video edit on it. And within 5 minutes I was able to export my final product to my camera roll. So smooth no issues! 100% My phone is also IPhone 11 if that seems to make a difference on people’s views on this app etc. Thank you ADOBE!
Needs more transitions between on frame to the next
by keybros_101 on 2020/07/24 08:16
I love the app to an extent. It needs more choices when transitioning from one frame to the next. It only has 3 choices. So I thought maybe the app has more of you purchase it and nope. Same 3 boring choices. Other then that I love the app. Still getting used to it.
Can’t do a reverse clip. Embarrassing.
by HodgesHodges84 on 2020/07/24 05:50
Subject says it all. This is a “premiere” video editor, and you can’t even put a clip in reverse (despite website saying you can." This team needs to get it together.

by InnaTheFirst on 2020/07/23 01:00
I’m trying to use Rush to simplify my workflow but so far have run into obstacles that is reverting me back to my desktop and regular Premiere. Not sure if it’s just the latest update, but I cannot reverse footage by selecting the clip duration setting as instructed in Adobe support article. Tried to report this bug, and ironically got a warning icon and then the app freezes and needs to be restarted. Tried again with same result, cannot report bug. Which is why I am leaving a review instead. Using an iPhone 11.
I thought this app was an Adobe Joke
by @educto on 2020/07/22 22:31
I don’t usually write reviews but I recommended this app to my peers just last week in a public forum. Rush has leveled up my mobile video production to give me more polish and panache than iMovie and without the expense of buying another app just for filmmaking. For Premiere Pro users, you’ll notice that Rush is essentially a mini-me for Premiere. Where it shines is that it focuses on what you need to get work out the door. Being able to combine footage, music, voiceovers, stills, titles and media from virtually everywhere has given me a lot of love and fun with this app. I like that it doesn’t do everything. If it did much more it would become work to use instead of the workhorse for my mobile video production. Add Rush to your arsenal and take your Stories and mobile video to the next level. Rush Ain’t No Joke!
Best on the market, could be better. Please Update
by d46fh4663464gkv on 2020/07/22 22:30
All I’m asking for is a video editing software on mobile that can do everything that adobe rush but that can also layer clips. Great app though. But please update
Crashes
by sammie_bae_ on 2020/07/22 06:16
Why can’t I open my project? It keeps saying “ unable to open projects” I spent nights without sleep to edit a video for NOTHING! I sent a feedback they never got back to me. That’s not ok.
Worked great, until...
by zachmcantwell on 2020/07/22 00:20
I'm currently on a road trip and documenting it with 4k video on my iPhone XR. Previous times, Rush has worked great with no issues or random crashes whatsoever, but earlier today when I went to edit, it crashed almost instantly after muting one clip. It kept on doing this, and I figured maybe it was an update. I updated to the most recent version, and it fixed nothing. Adobe is using this app and all of its other apps as simple cash grabs, they fix absolutely nothing about this app. It's a shame, it was my go-to mobile editor, but I cannot resubscribe until I see these crashes fixed.
WoW
by Drew Goldstein on 2020/07/22 00:20
I would love to give this 5 stars but HECK NO. I had to delete the app on my MacBook entirely. I am 1 mess up away from deleting it from my iPad. We pay a lot of money to have adobe and I would like to see at least something worth my money. Unfortunately the app does not load sometimes and it should be “Adobe Rush” but instead is “Adobe Wait 5 Hours to Get Any Editing Done.” Please make the app a little more less glitchy and bad. Thanks Also please fix the “media import falied”

Great app if it would stop crashing
by WolfMtn on 2020/07/20 22:02
I mainly use this on my iPhone. I love everything about this app except how it keeps crashing every 10 seconds! Every video I have edited takes 100 times longer than it should. I’m literally editing a 17 second video and I’m already over 2 hours because it keeps crashing every 10 seconds! And I’m not done yet. So frustrating! This video should have taken 10 minutes tops. I’ve send feedback multiple times but no response. I might have to switch to a different video editor.

Doesn’t work
by Abandoned Shell on 2020/07/20 13:16
Would love to use this, need to use this actually, but it will not even open. Briefly it shows the words “Adobe Premiere Rush” Then vanishes. =[ Update: It works sometimes now. I find it intuitive and all, but a bit buggy, plus I would prefer to just purchase it outright and not have to be bothered with a recurring subscription payment. I purchased LumaFusion instead which runs great and I love and will be using instead.
Potential
by luke1994 on 2020/07/20 07:20
So I really really want to like this app, it offers far more in depth editing tools than iMovie, however, those tools don’t really provide much considering the app constantly freezes and shuts down. Thankfully, it auto saves, but only since your last session. So any edits you make during the session when it shuts down, likely wont be saved

by TWLII on 2020/07/19 23:03

Good features but found a bug
by Nokturnal1 on 2020/07/18 23:12
I like it’s ease of use and features but I found one minor bug with the clipping feature. When I added a title on a separate timeline to overlay the main video, I was not able to go back and clip the main video without quitting out of the app and then reopening. When I reopened, it then revealed the clip cut that I tried to do from before.

Doesnt Work
by m18801 on 2020/07/17 17:51
This app has some really cool options that differ from simple programs like iMovie. However, it is worthless because once you try to export your video, all it shows is a blank black screen and I have looked online for ways to fix this, and many others have this problem as well and the app neglects to figure out these issues. I do not recommend.

by Trooper Trapper on 2020/07/17 09:57
This app was working really well for me with simple projects but the more complex I made my edits, the more it crashed. Now, I have projects that I can’t open and I believe have been lost forever. I don’t mind restarting my project, it’s just the fact of not being able to open it ever again once it crashes.
Please.. update this app
by Cenicia on 2020/07/17 04:53
The clips get damaged somehow, I will be watching the video and see a flash of a different clip... glitchy. The cloud syncs slower than molasses & I’ve worked on projects for days only to find a file with a red screen and a giant exclamation point in it for no reason (the “missing file “ is on my phone & im working from my phone). Need the capability of adding animate in, fade in& other transitions to files. You should be able to switch out clips, you should be able to delete a clip below another without deleting the clip above, you should be able to import clips into whatever layer you want, you should be able to edit text more extensively, there should be more than four layers. The app crashes when exporting your video.

Good app, if only it wouldn’t crash too much
by Elizabethmp18 on 2020/07/16 23:54
This app is great honestly. Not too hard to understand and it’s super convenient. What’s ruining its potential is that it crashes literally every 1-2 minutes after opening a project and continue to edit. If it stops crashing I’d give it a 5 star rating
No stabilization in the app
by raik619 on 2020/07/16 20:40
I am surprised this app doesn’t have video stabilization. Since no iPhone app has it , I thought this would have atleast since premier pro has it. Really disappointed.
It’s okay
by lovejenmoon on 2020/07/16 17:30
It’s pretty basic but gets the job done if you don’t need much done. Hopefully it’ll have more features soon since it’s still pretty new.
Great app for great videos

I love making videos with rush. Very easy to use and professional videos. Makes me feel like i know what im doing
Easy and flexible
by artist7601 on 2020/07/16 15:19
After working with Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro, this is a “get you what you need fast app” with multitrack, text effects, essential transitions. It is perfect for people who just want to get there video out without going through a 40-hour editing course. Everything is intuitive, I skipped the tutorial and just clicked buttons. Renders quality exports as well.
Fix This App Already
by Hajakfkflsa on 2020/07/16 06:04
Insane to make an app that does nothing but crash every 20 seconds. And no, that is not an exaggeration.
It’s bad and good
by Reesieeeeeeee on 2020/07/16 03:12
It’s helped me with my videos and I’ve posted a few vids. But every time it says “not enough storage available” even though I have SO MUCH storage available. I was just about to export it but then it said that. I’ve tried for a few hours and I’ve given up. I’ve deleted all my apps and pictures and yet it still hasn’t worked. You need to fix this bug. It might just be happening on my phone, but you need to fix it. It makes me stressed because I spent hours on editing a video and now it’s going to waste. So much for me having a yt career. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP YOU WILL GET STRESSED.
Perfect for a quick edit
by TheCorchan on 2020/07/15 19:14
I already use Premiere on my computers, so I don’t trust any other editing app other than Adobe’s and so far my edits have taken me only a minute or two before I’m ready to export and post! I’m pretty content but I haven’t used it for long so I won’t know quirks until I come across them. The bug report option has me worried they know there’s bugs but is a nice and easy way to report them.
I’m getting irritated
by ZQ.B on 2020/07/15 17:27
The app crashes and glitches too much. It won’t replay audio or video sometimes and I have to restart the app, sometimes when I restart the project edits aren’t saved.
Just use Premiere Pro or iMovie
by Wandering Bemused on 2020/07/15 03:56
I think I’m just frustrated because compared to iMovie, Premiere Rush comes off as lacking in basic functions. It can’t even reverse a clip! When Premiere Rush figures out how to do that, then I can finally move away from iMovie and fully commit but until then, not worth $10 a month.
This editor made my life this is mind blowing

Crashes too much now.

I used to edit my videos on this app many times however after some updates it just started crashing. Constantly while I’m working on a video even if I’m just trying to drag a clip or something minor the app crashes. No clue why. Didn’t have this issue before.
Question

First, how do I connect my video with my other device? My name is Haider Fahad. And I need to do this for my video graduation.
So good
by woah this amazin on 2020/07/14 22:18
My videos look so sharp and I love the entire thing the only complaint I have is that it takes a while to render other than that I love this and I hope new independent filmmakers like myself will enjoy this app as much as I do you can also go to adobe creative cloud to edit your videos in a while new light with premier pro and all sorts of other things. I love this app and I hope my newest and first film will become a success with this editing footage enjoy the app!!!
Buggy app?

Typical Adobe
by JLoveyByrd on 2020/04/15 16:29
Sadly I’ve had many of the same issues others have outlined; most importantly the random crashes, even upon startup before I’ve loaded media. One thing I’ve always hated about Premiere Pro was the text editing function, and unfortunately with Rush it seems like an easily fixable ignored feature as well. Writing onscreen titles is painstaking; rather than take advantage of Apple’s integrated text editing capabilities (where you can hold+drag to easily place a cursor), Rush seems to use the iPhone text editing functions from five years ago. Just try moving the cursor or carefully selecting pieces of text to be edited...on my iPhone, it’s next to impossible. Typically it’s just easier to create a new text later rather than edit what’s already been set, a major oversight. It’s also extremely challenging to modify text to a different color after applying it. Other than that, yes you can edit videos with it but I’m not seeing any good reason why somebody would prefer this over the integrated iOS video editor. I suppose if you subscribe to Adobe Premiere Pro it would provide an ability to edit clips on the fly and save them to your CC library to sync with Premier Pro, but this is a lot of work for just trying to use the app on the most basic level.
Great app... when it doesn’t crash
by tyler schwab imagery on 2020/02/19 05:54
As much as I would love to give it 5 stars, I just can’t. It works well (iPhone X) but crashes on export every time. I’ve made sure it was the only thing running, forced closed to reset, restarted my phone, etc. it just simply doesn’t export at all with projects even as short as 2 minutes. Not even on the lowest quality. When it does export in smaller projects, the audio is off. Love the product, hate the exporting. I have the whole cc suite, and I feel like the stability improvements in most applications are lacking a bit. I really don’t want to switch to another company, but as a professional I need to have a stable workflow. Please focus more on stability adobe. I love the added tools and features, but I would rather have a stable platform first. “Update”. I know what the crash issue is. The phones are simply overheating. This may be an odd thing to do, but I set my phone on an ice pack while exporting and it worked flawlessly. I’ve done it many times to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke. If you’re reading this adobe, try slowing down the speed of the rendering process. It may take longer to render, but at least it will work. This should solve the overheating issue.
Application Crashes
by Michelle67274!? on 2019/10/29 08:02
If they were to fix the glitches that this app has, this would be a wonderful tool to use for editing. I know for a fact that the application is crashing and not because of my phones fault. This phone is brand new, phone’s software is up to date, and I don’t even have more then 12-15 videos the most in it. So I can for sure say that the application isn’t crashing because of storage issues. I’ve lost so many edited videos that I spent almost days working on. Very disappointed. Also, when I go back to the beginning of my videos to replay back what I have done so far it seems to lag and glitch out, making me think that I recorded my video faulty. When I go into my albums and play the video to see if it was my fault, the video plays completely smooth. I don’t trust spending hours upon hours of my time editing on this application from fear of losing my work. I have too much to lose since this is what I do for income. Sorry adobe, I’ll be using other applications from here on out until this issue gets resolved. I will not be paying money for something that will crash during my editing time.
Glitches in Rendered Video
by Lysa.P on 2020/07/01 04:51
Edit: Even after being helped, still glitches appear in my videos. I have reinstalled the app multiple times, even deleted sections of video and reimported and then glitches appear elsewhere. I just can’t trust this app which really stinks. If paying $10 a month for a product I would hope these glitches would not be existent. I can understand some but the app version is definitely not worth it at this point for the price. — I love this product, however for the last week I have been editing projects on my phone not only are there too many crashes and work is being lost during those crashes, but after hours of work I go to render my video and glitches appear in it. I have tried a different size, restarting my phone, changing settings, updating the app and had my phone plugged in but nothing seems to help. 3 different projects/videos and they all are having glitches in the rendered version. No glitches appear when playing in edit mode so something is happening during render. Please help! I can’t keep spending hours of editing to not be able to use my videos.
Disappointing
by TheOwlMan666 on 2019/02/12 16:17
The app itself is useful thanks to the number of options it provides for video customization and editing, but it isn’t worth it at due to how it’s able to save clips and audio. The first time I tried it I was working on a 10-20 minute video which required multiple clips, and audio recordings. When I was almost finished the notification “media failed to upload” kept popping up. It gave me no guidance or real indication of what did not upload or how I could fix the issue. When the notifications stopped the app crashed and when I went back to finish ALL of the audio was gone as well as most of the clips and images. I went back and the app gave me a notification that there was not enough space and I needed to upgrade my drive. I assumed that when I ran out of space it caused the clips to be lost. I purchased the $10 monthly subscription and restarted the video. When I was halfway through the app crashed and the same thing happened again, with no explanation. So all of my hard work went to waste. This app is very useful but this problem makes it not worth my time or anyone else’s, and it has motivated me to uninstall. Very disappointing.
Great when it works
by yitbosaz on 2018/12/22 21:48
When it works, I'd give it a 5 star, but getting it to open is such a pain that I often give up. On my iPhone 8 plus, 99% of the time I try to open it, it sits on the start up screen for about a minute, then closes. I'll try several times, sometimes it'll eventually work, but usually have to restart my phone. That will almost always work. I have also noticed an issue that happens 100% of the time. If I import a video that I already trimmed in the iOS Photos app, there will be a sync issue with the audio. As a work around, I duplicate the track, offset it and use it for the audio, but the export comes out messed up. In that situation, it still will have the same issue if I use Rush on desktop. Opening in Premiere Pro does work, however the export will take about (literally) 10 times as long as usual. Normally, I would just write off an app I have that kind of trouble with, however, when I do get it to work, it is wonderful. I really hope they get these issues worked out. I think the stability issue came from an update, because it wasn't a problem when it first came out.
Unreliable
by Fatsai on 2020/05/01 19:42
I have the Adobe photo package and while photoshop works as one would expect on both PC and mobile, Premier Rush is almost non-operable. A person would think a PC would be more reliable, but it’s not. Unfortunately, I would almost conjecture the Adobe Cloud is based in mainland China and so are most of the programmers. Reasoning is it looks pretty good on the surface, but seems a lot of filters (database/recognition software?) that slows it down to the point of timing out. Premier crashes continuously and would be a complete waste of money as a stand alone app purchase. Highly recommend not to purchase or use Premier Rush unless Adobe makes it useable. **Updated - received a nice developer response and glad to know the product is continuously being improved and updated. As stated previously, seems really nice if it only would not crash and go to “not responding.” I already am subscribed to the full photo services package and completely satisfied with all other aspects...guess we will see how Rush gets updated.
Incredible for color correcting & lighting tweaks!
by mirapuff on 2019/08/08 00:47
If you are familiar with the ACR work flow, this app is very user friendly. I am a media consultant for a nursery and we shoot a lot of videos outdoors. We constantly fight with exposure changes and saturation issues so having this app is essential. I love how easy it is to color correct the lighting as well as bring blown out highlights back to a normal level. They just added the slow motion & fast motion options which are fantastic. Truly a one of a kind app that has all of the features I would want in a workflow I am familiar with. Lastly, this app saves UNCOMPRESSED videos - I dont know how many apps I have tried that just destroy my video quality ( Im shooting on an iphone x with a DJI Osmos 2 steady-cam). 10/10 recommend if you do ANYTHING on social media, professional or personal!
Great, but may not be worth it if you’re buying it alone
by Tommy Zeth on 2018/10/16 03:43
Premiere Rush is a much better video editing application for iOS than iMovie and other free video editing software l have tried. It has great features with much more customizable text, easy to use portably, and so on. However, I have already own the entire CC plan, so this is only a nice addition for me. I wouldn't recommend this if you were to spend the $10/month on Premiere Rush alone. The price is half the price of Premiere Pro ($21/month) and Premiere Pro is a much more powerful video editing tool. Honestly, just get Premiere Pro by itself or the whole CC plan. Getting Rush alone probably isn’t worth the money. But if you don’t have a computer for Premiere Pro and just want a simple upgrade from iOS iMovie, go ahead and buy it. For certain I’ll be using Rush whenever I need to edit videos on my phone and can’t use my computer.
Nice app but I’m not into the subscription.
by yank (the) on 2019/01/20 18:12
Hey Adobe, figure out a way to offer a one time purchase price again. I have literally stopped considering buying your products since CS6. This is nice app if you like adobe products. However, as a “non-professional” user of adobe programs I have to say that I am absolutely against their subscription based business model. I typically take the time to learn this, as well as other adobe products so that the media I do produce will be at best on par with most entry level professionals. This in mind, I enjoy having all the functionality of these programs available - or in other words the potential to learn more and become better at producing quality media. Unfortunately though I am only a part time user and cannot see the justification of spending $10/mo. on a subscription that I utilize for fun, for $0 profit of my own, once, maybe twice a month. I don’t want the cloud, I don’t want another monthly bill, I want to have fun and be creative on my own. Listen to your customers. This is very off-putting.
Hey You! Come read now!!
by unknown23edededetsyfkl on 2019/02/12 04:36
I’ve been looking for a decent app to make my slideshows on, the rest had a ridicules subscription that cost my whole bank or they weren’t having certain things I was looking for. I tried this app and I WAS SO HAPPY!! (I think you have to pay, but I think I got out of it using a special trick 😊) but for all you young people it will not let you use the app until your 18 or over so you may have to stretch the truth. So far it has no bugs, but I’m still looking for those hidden prices that may pop-up. For de creators if I was suppose to pay, I’M SORRY 😭I didn’t hack but I did something and it didn’t ask for a subscription so......yeah.....but I hoped this review helped make up your mind. (I’m a gachatuber so this really helped) 10/10 would recommend to anyone 😁😁
Not much better than adobe clip
by druwin12344321 on 2018/10/16 13:45
Looks like adobe rushed this to market? Seems a tad bit better than adobe clip but just wonder why adobe did not get it from there past experience with adobe clip? One being that you still can not toggle the upload of material! Seems like a no brained that this is a preference toggle switch. Also the app keeps wanting to update every time I open it. The ability to cut up video is still not as slick as iMovie where you can use a swipe up or down to cut and I’m finding the inability to roll clips into smaller or bigger segments is not working. Someone mentioned this app is Bette than Luma Fusion. Well maybe they are not actually purchasing this app and so they have adsaybe but in my opinion nothing matches what Luma Fusion can do once you learn the workflow. Sorry Adobe this app is a notch up from clip app but not by much. Hope you guys can do better with creating something that really works well. Until then my vote goes to Luma Fusion for iOS video editing.
Very close to ideal
by Ninertrips on 2019/04/27 15:22
Clean, intuitive, essential editing on iPad Pro, but right now it’s a little too essential. 1) Desperately needs the ability to do basic animation of transformations: pan, zoom rotate. 2) Needs the ability to duplicate a project (not just a timeline inside a project) to make versions, templates, etc. Fingers crossed these features will be added soon. Update: After further experimentation, another vital feature feels lacking: Drag and drop media from other apps/photos (using iPad Pro btw). Just anything to reduce the number of taps it takes to get a piece of media into my project/timeline. Im working with stills, often edited/created in other apps. What if I could just drag a sketch from Adobe Sketch straight to the timeline? Or drag a still or video from Photos straight in? Right now the media management has a lot of the clunkiness of a desktop experience.
Absolute garbage
by yodelingpuppet on 2018/12/26 02:58
Spent an hour creating video on Christmas to share with family who couldn’t be here with us. Audio drops out and the music tracks I added only play inside the app and not anywhere that I share them. Also, the first attempt to export failed, however it still counted against my 3 free exports. Now I’m left with one free export, but no worries I won’t be needing it since I’ll be looking for an alternative.... something you potential buyers should consider, especially since others have more features, ones that actually work, and don’t cost anywhere near 10 bucks a month. This app isn’t even worth a one time payment of $10! How do you, in right mind, justify charging customers monthly for this trash? Also, can you pay me for wasting precious family time on my Christmas day? I work too many hours to have done this any other time and I wasn’t trying to share a video a week later. Not only was using this app an atrocious experience but it also managed to completely waste my time in the process.
Great debut release — just an update or two from 5 stars
by dj jon bates on 2018/11/23 18:54
The reviews with complaints about paying for this need to understand that Adobe builds tools for professionals. We hold them to the highest standards of performance, stability and functionality because many of our careers literally depend on Adobe software. Premiere Rush is one of the stronger v1 products Adobe has launched in recent years. I need to invest more time with this app before I give it five stars, but it fills the void for projects that are too minor for After Effects and not worth the hassle of Premiere. (Adobe Spark Video remains the more frustrating app of the useful Spark trio). My hope is that Adobe keeps new products like this focused and bloat-free: Photoshop (the crown jewel of CC) is diminished by the kitchen-sink additions like 3D. Keep it fast, stable and within a memory footprint that doesn’t lag when multi-app switching
This has to be a joke >:(

This app I good BUT ONLY WHEN IT ISN’T CRASHING ON YOU 😭 when I first downloaded the app it kept crashing, it was triggering me so I kept deleting it. But one day I said “ I’m gonna give it ONE more chance “ and it got its act together, but today I go on there and it was loading, and I got worried because when ever I click the app my video almost instantly pop up. Anyways I click the video and all of my work is there but at the same it’s kind of not, ALL OF MY CLIPS WERE GRAYED OUT AND MY AUDIO WAS GONE 😖. It looked like the ONLY way I could get it back was by “ reconnecting “ the clips and the amount I had done was 3 DAYS worth of work, and I’m upset because now I don’t remember where some of the clips go. I looked at soooo many apps for video editing and no joke I thought this app was THE ONE 😞 and I don’t want to risk this happening again so now I have to try and find ANOTHER video editor app that won’t do me dirty 😣.
Not sure yet
by hoops61 on 2020/04/15 13:57
I downloaded the 7 day free trial as a 100% video newbie... IOW zero experience. I uploaded a 90 minute video and once I dragged it from Project Asset section into the work area could no longer see it. It tried various clips with no luck. On the upside, after 4 hours of tutorials and no response from “the community”, I called customer support. Customer Support was excellent... with writing all the details, they were patient, we checked all the obvious (system requirements)- and then they let me reinstall (thinking it was an instal problem) and pushed out the 7 day trial date. Overall I think I’ve learned Premier Rush is made for small video clips intended for social media, not to edit larger files. And for that it’s probably OK... remember I’m a newbie, so I haven’t played with many effects. Watching the tutorials, Rush appears to give a lot of Big Software capability to making small (short) social media video.
Awesome but a few things...

I love this app so far don’t get me wrong it’s a lot more intuitive then premier pro on my computer and I don’t have to worry about my computer crashing all the time! Some features that would really help more are: transition option of the fade with the black, white, and no opacity some slide or other kinds of transition would be nice just for personality A color balance tool would be nice just to set the white and black color. The preprogrammed theme color aren’t bad neither is the option to tweak things like vibrancy and what not. My most important wish is that there was a captioning program in the app or a separate app to do so. So I can upload my transcript there without needing to do so on my computer Obviously these are very picky suggestions and this has come along way from the original video editing apps and adobe clip. Also the app freezes and or shuts down but this only happens when I have other apps in the background so this may have nothing to do with the app but the processing power of the phone. Btw I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro plus hopefully I can get an iPad to do more and better work without squinting. I was able to do an almost 20 min video with all the works. I am very impressed to say the least.
Frequently Doesn’t Open

I love this app, WHEN I am able to access It. It works for a couple of days and then will stop opening on my phone altogether. Each time I have to delete the app and then reinstall, which is a pain to have to do so often. I’ve done this 5-6 times now and is the only way to keep using It, It seems. I’ve called Apple thinking it was my phone before but It was not. I tried contacting the developers to see if they knew what could be going on and why, but I wasn’t able to get through to any actual person to help. Very disappointing. For now I just will keep on deleting and reinstalling until maybe I get some help. Otherwise, the app itself is actually great.
Good, but...
by Alex Shapkarov on 2018/12/03 02:34
ok so i downloaded this app as a sort of entertainment. i had a lot of fun putting together clips and the overall experience was very professional. BUT as soon as my phone was at 2% i closed the app and plugged in my phone until it got to about 50%. after i let my phone charge, i clicked on the app, and it took me to the loading page. i was waiting for it to load for 2 minutes tops, and then it just kicked me off the app. i tried again to get in, but it kicked me off again. then i restarted my phone. i went back to the app, and it still kicked me out. i have no idea why it’s doing that, and i hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. i didn’t want to delete the app and then reinstall because i made a “movie” on there and i didn’t want everything to be gone. i was sort of in a jam there, so just be careful with this app.
Almost there

I think this is very good for a mobile editor. I think if a few features were added this would be really really good for quick edits while traveling. A few features I would like to see are, key frames for basic stuff like scale etc., maybe some masks, and a few effects like grain, and the warp stabilizer. I would also like to change the sequence size to a custom size. For example 2.39:1 instead of using a .png overlay. Also this is probably the most important thing I would like to see, can we please have a way to view, at least preview our full timelines from the desktop app over CC to show clients what we have been working on, on the go?That would be extremely useful for me at least. Overall, this app seems very promising, keep up the good work 🙂.
Best Mobile Video Editing App
by Kae210 on 2020/05/02 05:09
Premiere allows quite a bit if freedom in editing videos on mobile devices. You can add multiple layers of video, audio, and titles. There are many tools— the most convenient for me is the option choose portrait, landscape, or square and to transform the frames to fit the chosen sizing. Limitations: 1) You must memorize the order of the clips you initially pull from your camera, or you will run the risk of dragging/dropping each clip to the correct timeframe, or losing your the file if you exit the app to review a clip. Once the initial media is added, however, you can easily add more clips. 2) app shutdown during rendering, and I found it was because it couldn’t handle rendering certain clips that had been transformed. Hopefully this is a bug that can be fixed.
As of 2019, IOS version of Rush has serious problems
by russellrc94 on 2019/12/21 07:40
Pros and Cons of IOS Rush right now: Cons: -Crashes Constantly. -Lags while working on videos. -Simply incapable of exporting large video files - Rush IOS will crash if you are not using footage filmed on an IPhone less than 2 minutes long. -If your video file is small enough for it to export, it takes an extremely painfully long amount of time to export. -The way you have to edit videos on your phone is a bit of a pain compared to editing a video on a computer, but that’s honestly not really their fault. You don’t have the advantage of a keyboard and a mouse when editing on a phone so there’s not much they can do about that. Pros: -Its a quick way to take videos you’ve filmed on your phone and load them into a project on your computer (if you get the desktop version of Adobe Rush) -It does have the ability to edit the video footage in ways that are significantly better than its competitors. -It has a lot of potential. I have given it a one star today but I hope that in maybe 6 months or so it has improved enough to have 5. Since I make videos for a living, I would use it a lot more - if I could. However, it crashes so often and is simply incapable of handling the file sizes I need it to. Adobe, please, please, please, fix these horrible problems with this app so I can use it more often.
Cannot render after all that work!
by Hateration Slayer on 2020/05/17 19:07
After redoing to completed videos the videos would NOT export and render! I am so frustrated. I captured clips in 4K on my iPhone 7 and apparently this app struggles to render in 2020 after reading reviews from the help pages even with the laziest iPhone. This is crazy! I paid $10 thinking maybe this app would stop crashing and upload my last clip but not only does it keep crashing although there was an update yesterday...my last clip keeps on failing to upload. I thought it was my phone until I saw other reviews stating the same issues. I can’t believe I spent $10 for this and I am disappointed because of the Adobe brand and quality, what happened y’all? The app would improve tremendously if the creators seriously work on the bugs. I am literally about to cancel my subscription and go to a better editing app because this is trifling and it should take me this long to complete one video!
Revolutionary
by Techlewey on 2020/04/08 17:27
Ultimately I have to get the finished product onto my iPhone to post on my social media. I use to do this through mainly DSLR, uploading to desktop, edit, export, download, post. With switching to iPhone’s 4K camera and using Rush to edit footage, that cuts down the production load by more than half. Even if I wanted to include DSLR quality into the mix, it still wouldn’t be as tedious for the fact that I could just use an audio program to capture the audio and export it to my Creative Cloud folder. You can even import media (such as audio) into your Rush library. I would just have to import the DSLR footage and edit right on my phone in bed. 5/5 for me.
This app is so much better than iMovie
by Baybeecakes1965 on 2020/06/24 17:28
Back when I had iMovie it glitched all the time and most of the options were pretty unsophisticated. Rush, on the other hand, is simple but great. My only bone to pick is that sometimes it won’t display the video, just the audio. I’ve tried shutting off my phone, shutting off the app, deleting and inputting the video again, etc. I just can’t figure than one out. Edit: The app developers responded very quickly (never had that happen with other apps) I have a post on the Adobe Community page and I’m working with someone to get the bug figured out. It doesn’t seem like other people are having this problem though so if you’re thinking about downloading this app I totally suggest this one over others.
A bit frustrating to use on an iPad
by Leo from Miami on 2019/04/28 20:49
The app overall is good and very convenient. I made a video sequence fairly quickly by combining some iPhone videos and photos. I easily added a title, did some cross fading between photos and videos. Added a background music from Rush’s catalog. The frustration came when I wanted to move the music sound track. Pushing left or right did nothing. Double tapping would put an orange border around the track to show it was selected. But it was not very responsive. And shortening or expanding the track was also a mission. It seems that you have to touch the side border on a very precise point in order to drag it in or out. And even then it is not clear if the track is expanding or simply being moved on the timeline.
Has potential, but not there yet. Crashes like no other
by Jakhang on 2020/03/23 04:42
The app has A lot of different powerful editing functionalities, but also has several bugs right now that don’t make it super usable. It crashes constantly even if using the latest iPhone, the titles don’t display with consistent formats, you can’t save title template successfully and hit and error, and you can’t even export your video consistently! I just spent several hours working on a video only to have it encounter an error when exporting while still telling me I used up one of the free exports (yes, you can only export your video 3 times for free before they ask you to upgrade for $10/month). With how buggy it is current state and how often it crashes (like every few minutes unannounced), I wouldn’t pay for this for even $3/month. If it would just stop crashing and did what it’s supposed to do, it would easily be a premium app.
Has Potential but still not the Premier Pro
by Pete Sake on 2020/04/15 13:23
Adobe is moving in the right direction in terms of brining it’s software to the iPad Pro but the rollout, support, and features are few and far between. Photoshop is a mess and Premier Rush seems like well a “Rush” to compete with the onslaught of other available video applications. I want to give this a good review but the editing experience, lack of plugins, and constant freezing and/or crashing gives this application a lack luster and less than Adobe feel. I will add that I’m running this on an 2019 iPad Pro 12.9 which can handle 4K Video but a 10 minute 1080p file gives premier rush a extremely hard rendering time and almost painful experience to say the least, let’s hope Adobe can get their head in the game and makes this a great experience, until then stick with iMovie, it’s less of a headache unfortunately.
Thanks a lot
by JamesBrachacho on 2019/06/07 14:32
The program itself works great, but I have a love-hate relationship with the program. Last night, I was finishing up a project from 1-4am only to find that the app crashed the second before I hit the save button. When I relaunched Rush, my project was nowhere to be found, but the file is still visible on my creative cloud, saying that everything’s synced up. If it is, then why can’t I get to my project??? This has happened several times and I’m very upset over what has happened. The way it got fixed before is if I’m working on a new project and the program crashes (usually about a week). When I relaunch Rush after this happens, the project I was just working on is gone, but the project that has disappeared a day/a week ago reappears. It’s so confusing. Does Rush have two dimensions that files travel to, and you can only switch to each dimension when the Adobe gods randomly crash your software?
Fix the crashing while exporting (problem since 2019)
by Maddie.Ret on 2020/05/31 14:58
Great app for macs but the problem is when I export a video on my iPad Pro 2018 it was a great experience but when I went to export and get ready to post it crashes every time making this app unuable and just bad due to the fact that I can no longer use it because when I went to export it on my Mac the video clips were not sent though the cloud even though I have plenty of space and I do not have all the clips available making me re-edit this whole video on a different device and miss my upload time due to the fact that Adobe never fixed this problem. I am very disappointed in such a big company like Adobe and I would think that this big a company would listen to their customers especially since this problem has existed for so long!
First video experience
by Good tides on 2018/11/07 01:27
For working on your phone app it’s getting there. I’m liking the audio control you get, being able to change the frame of my videos a must need for portrait size. But i found it a little difficult, to get precise cuts on my clips, also the lack of a creative installed title presets, it’s a little difficult to position curser when changing or correcting words and the no speed interpolation for video tracks. So i have to switch between adobe clips and this. I feel they could have just added what they did here to adobe clips and made that a better app, rather then start a whole new one. One last thing. If your going to give us the ability to lair tracks then we need our blend modes.
The Pay Wall
by Su4rubles on 2019/09/24 06:22
Don’t get me wrong this is a powerful editing software but what makes this a two star app is that when you go to export your finished video you are prompted to buy a premium version just so that you can make more videos in the future... “You have 3 exports available. Upgrade for unlimited sharing”. You can get way more for completely free... if you are looking for an extremely powerful and intuitive editing software that’s completely free, check out VideoLeap. Not sponsored, just some kid who loves making videos with their phone.
Another subscription based app
by ChrisE1G on 2019/02/10 20:32
You can use this mobile app for 12 months if you pay $120. When those 12 months have passed, you can not keep using the app as-is, and simply not receive any more updates. Subscription aside, this app is simply not worth the asking price. A subscription based app is another bill to keep track of. The vast majority of subscription based apps on the AppStore are obviously not worth it, no matter how you look at it. And from a consumer perspective it’s just not sustainable to keep track of all the bills every month. Adobe offers their various desktop applications via subscription, if you’re a pro and Adobe keeps updating and improving their desktop applications, alongside providing a service like cloud based storage, it might be worth it. However more and more real alternatives are appearing on the market that are not subscription based. There’s a reason for why that’s happening. More advanced video editing desktop applications without subscription fees are starting to emerge, and that will eventually be reflected on the AppStore as well. In the meantime, there are a few very capable video apps available on the AppStore already that are not subscription based, like LumaFusion (which does far more things then this app).
Great concept but too basic and slow.
by Easternhuman on 2019/12/12 15:30
I’ve been using adobe products for the past 3 years and really like the usability and adaptability across platforms. So when I saw adobe rush I was pretty excited to jump on to make phone edits quicker and better. For the most part I feel like it’s almost there. I set up templates and employees are able to grab it on the go throw a video in it, render it on their phone and it’s ready to go. However there are major setbacks with basic tools from regular editing softwares and it seems to chug way more than if I’m even editing on premiere pro which seems weird. All in all it’s so close to being a program that would be amazing to use but I just don’t think it’s ready to go the full production yet.
This is what I Think of it
by Keene Gabriel M. De Leon on 2020/05/12 14:36
This app is very amazing in terms of video editing and making movies. It has very great features that can be barely found in other rip-off apps. I like this, but the only problem is... it has a limited number of exports. You need to pay for the premium/pro version of it so the greater features can be unlocked, like the unlimited exports and more fonts or styles. Well I thought that everything that is free can be very amazing, but instead apps that are very amazing needs payment for you to feel it as amazing as it should be. What is happening to this world - full of greediness and selfishness. Well I rated it 3 starts so you know how I hate apps that requires subscriptions and payments! Struggles can be very tough!
Buying exports?
by martisnz on 2018/12/08 15:33
Honestly, I think this app is really good. You guys are doing an amazing job, but with the knowledge that you guys ARE a business and trying to get money. I understand why you want the payments. I don’t think that this is a necessary payment. As a student, I use many adobe apps and think it works amazingly. I felt that I have done amazing work using your apps in my multimedia class. As a high school student, I don’t think I should be using money to buy something that is unnecessary. For understanding, I love using this app, but it is not worth spending money on. It’s just an app without special abilities. Overall I absolutely love this app, but cannot afford to use an app that has payment.
Keeps crashing then deleted all my projects
by SpiroRD on 2020/06/30 20:49
The first video I created on adobe premiere was great. It worked really well and I raved about it to everybody. Then I worked on creating my second video. There were so many bugs/glitches. Keep in mind, I was creating a simple 5 minute cooking video. I have the iPhone 11. After I completed it, I was unable to export it. I tried deleting many photos/videos in my camera to ensure there was room. I then made sure it said it was synced to the adobe cloud before deleting the program from my phone. But when I reinstalled it. Only the files were there... not my project that I spent a week on! So frustrating and so much money down the tube considering I worked on this project while I had a babysitter for my daughter. I will never use this program and do NOT recommend if you need reliability.
Love the idea, hate the buggies
by Venusvoyagergirl on 2020/01/13 07:18
The idea of editing on my ipad with adobe is awesome, but in reality it’s kinda buggy. Sometimes stops and won’t playback for no reason , sometimes runs super slow, sometimes it won’t upload a media clip to the project, sometimes it won’t select right. The titles tool is almost impossible to use and get looking right because of the way they designed how to type in the titles. It’s confusing to use and not user friendly,y. The title part that it, the rest is pretty easy and great. If they could fix the business and make it run more reliably that would be great. Also it scares me that it auto saves because one time it crashed and deleted everything . So not very reliable sadly .
Not a fan of subscription based apps
by DJ Tranc4mer on 2019/09/24 09:43
I really love this app and it’s great, but the fact that it’s subscription based makes me hate it so much at the same time. It’s really dumb that you have to pay $10/month just to render videos. The app really has no use if you don’t pay for a subscription. When you first get the app you’re given 3 free exports. I decided to try it out and create a video, but my first render was pixelated in the middle of the video. So I ended up wasting a free export and had to use another export to re-render my video now bringing me down to 1 free export left. When I use this last free export I’ll probably delete the app because I’m most likely not getting a subscription. If this was a paid app instead of subscription based, then I would definitely be on board to use it.
Very good, but would be great if....
by Jake Ituto on 2019/04/30 20:37
Adobe Rush is a fantastic app to get some very good work done on your phone. I think it is very powerful but, I think it would be extremely powerful & extremely efficient if I was able to add an adjustment layer and add coloring to the entire piece of footage rather than having to click on each individual clip and change the Lut. Adobe, can you please add this feature? It would save me so much time because I would only have to spot edit rather than edit every clip. Would you also be able to add the featured to increase or decrease the volume of an entire layer of clips rather than having to go into each one?
Premiere Pro on your phone!
by torcha204 on 2020/01/19 16:13
I’ve been a premiere user since CS6, and using this app for quick turnaround videos from my phone is great! The interface is just like being on the desktop version, and it’s easy to understand if your a premiere user. I think the program could offer more transition options, but the basic transitions will work in some situations. Making precise cuts will take some time, and dragging clips is sometimes frustrating, but can be done. Of course you must have an adobe subscription to use the app after the free exports, but if your upgrading from a program like iMovie, you will enjoy using this app!
Easy! Simple! Great for first time editors!
by Dani_mun on 2020/06/22 15:49
I wanted to make a Father’s Day video with footage from my iPhone. I have zero experience with video editing software. It seemed overwhelming at first finding an app that would simply compile my videos together. This app was super easy to use. The tutorial helps you understand what features are available to you. I created my video in minutes. Exporting it to several social media platforms was easy too! Automatically saved to my phone making it simple to send to family and friends. Thank you!
Exporting videos
by Candy_sweetheart on 2019/01/27 15:28
Ive come across a problem where I am not able to export my videos. I recently have finished editing a video on my iPad Pro with titles, transitions, and such but when I went to go export the finished video despite having 2 available exports the, process of exporting the video has continuously failed. I really like this editing app and I’m considering buying the upgrade to 100Gb but honestly I’m not sure if I’m willing to spend 10 dollars on this app if I cant trust that my videos will successfully be exported. I hope maybe this is just a bug or something and hopefully I find a solution for this problem
Ok, but lacks some basic features
by iAmViper on 2018/10/23 02:52
While I am an advocate for Adobe products and use them daily, I do have to say that Rush is not quite there yet with functionality that can be found in other free apps. For example, the ability to put a title slide before and after your video. For me to do that, I have to use another app to create the title and then bring it in as a separate graphic. Another example is to fade in/out audio. You again would need to edit in a separate app to do that. Given the limitations, Rush does do some good things with basic cuts, transitions, trims, etc. Overall, I think Rush just needs to mature a bit to become a great “edit anywhere” app.
Excellent - can’t wait for it to grow with more features
by NHArtShop on 2018/10/16 14:44
Started using it last night. Love it!! So happy to be able to use a phone app that will straighten videos, and give the option for editing exposure, etc. also zoom in without losing clarity is sweet! I’m hoping Adobe will get right on it and fix this soon, but unfortunately it crashes constantly. Ugh. But it saves where you left off, so no loss of editing time thankfully. And trying to use the shorten or lengthen tools are hard to use on the phone. The app needs to be more responsive to that command. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars!
Rush crashes
by Baaaaambaaaam on 2018/12/08 16:33
Adobe is a fantastic suite to have in your tool box. Unfortunately this tool (Rush CC) does not contain the same robustness that the rest of the Adobe products offer. I was pretty excited about this at first, the functions seemed to be there but came short in the most basic operations. Every time I export , it crashed. Every time I scrubbed through the timeline.... it crashed. If the devs are reading this and so chose to post this. I am using this on an iPhone 8. My final complaint is that even with my subscription to adobe suite ( which an email came through to state I would be allowed unlimited exports for RUSH and the full version because of my current subscription) I the app doesn’t show the full version and adobe again wants to charge me for it....... bad form Adobe.

by P•U•L•S•E on 2020/08/03 16:17
Not enough export settings.

Slow
by mr cabloopy on 2020/07/31 01:44
This editor is pretty slow, it took a while to load the video I had edited, longer than it should take. I was even right next to my WiFi router. I seems like a good editor if it wasn’t slow.
Video’s off track

Doesn’t render
by Tattoolover2010 on 2020/07/30 19:34
Have been trying to render and force closes the application. Changed the quality to a lower one and still force closes. Battery at 100% and guess what still force closes. I have been trying with this application but please fix these bugs. Been doing this for 3 hours and I use it for work.
WHAT

Can you even call this editing you literally can not edit. All you can do is resize it, Change the color of your video and that’s about it.
Do not get this app.

Love the app so much

by Phawckynfolk on 2020/07/27 21:58
Very good app how ever I couldn’t give it 5 stars cause I had to do the ice pack trick too because it kept crashing when trying to render but besides that everything was pretty easy to use and fast to learn will keep using and hope you fix the problem.

Rush Ain’t No Joke!

by sammie_bae_ on 2020/07/22 06:16
Why can’t I open my project?
It's a shame, it was my go-to mobile editor, but I cannot resubscribe until I see these crashes fixed.

by Drew Goldstein on 2020/07/22 00:20
I would love to give this 5 stars but HECK NO.

I might have to switch to a different video editor.

by Abandoned Shell on 2020/07/20 13:16
Would love to use this, need to use this actually, but it will not even open.

Really disappointed.

by artist7601 on 2020/07/16 15:19
After working with Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro, this is a “get you what you need fast app” with multitrack, text effects, essential transitions. It is perfect for people who just want to get there video out without going through a 40-hour editing course. Everything is intuitive, I skipped the tutorial and just clicked buttons. Renders quality exports as well.

Just use Premiere Pro or iMovie
by Wandering Bemused on 2020/07/15 03:56
I think I’m just frustrated because compared to iMovie, Premiere Rush comes off as lacking in basic functions. It can’t even reverse a clip! When Premiere Rush figures out how to do that, then I can finally move away from iMovie and fully commit but until then, not worth $10 a month.

I love this app and I hope my newest and first film will become a success with this editing footage enjoy the app!!!

Frequently Doesn’t Open
by AnnieCurls on 2019/01/17 12:45
I love this app, WHEN I am able to access It.
