I am addicted to the Haiku Mystery Adventure Games! I love them. The puzzle difficulty changes. A few things don’t quite make sense here and there but that’s what makes it so challenging. I love them and am on my 5th download.

Needs save and more logic
by Aitch51 on 2020/09/13 20:56
Every time i leave the game to visit another app, i have to start the chapter over. Having an automatic, or even manual, save would be fantastic. In addition, if puzzles have a skip option, it tells me it is probably going to be a guessing game rather than based on clues or logic. Takes the fun out of playing if one has to skip rather than figure it out. Love most of the puzzles, as well as the story lines and artwork in the Haiku games.

I enjoy that the puzzles are a bit more though provoking. Update: not sure if it’s just an issue on the iPad, but the theatre box puzzle will not let me collect the saw or the magic. Everything else is clickable, except the box and the items. I clearly can’t continue without getting the item. It all feels like a waste of time now. Another update: had to restart the app a few times to get it to work

Haiku does it best...
by Overstre on 2020/07/15 06:59
Haiku makes the most fun, challenging and, sometimes, irritating puzzles I’ve encountered in many years. I love how you need to rely on all your skills — logic, intuition, math, common sense, etc. You’re not constantly nagged to purchase anything, if you get truly stuck, I’m sure you could find a walkthrough somewhere (hint-hint😊). Many other game companies (like Big Fish) have really beautiful graphics in their hidden object games. Unfortunately, just as soon as the game gets interesting, your limited chapter free trial is over and they want you to pay $4.99 or more to continue. With Haiku games, you can complete an entire game or storyline without paying a cent. Sure, you need to watch short ads in-between chapters, but they’re short and a small price to pay for something that entertains so much and keeps your brain cells working. Well done, Haiku!

by 77UrbBug on 2020/07/07 13:46
I love Adventure Escape games. A lot of programmers either make their games so easy they’re boring or so hard and random they are frustrating to the point of quitting. Haiku Games is the exception. The games are challenging but not impossible. I do occasionally look up walk throughs on YouTube when I get really stuck but when I do, the answer makes sense unlike some programmers. Love these. I’m playing through them all.

More puzzles
by Nakstacks on 2020/06/30 18:14
I like that this storyline has more opportunities to find clues to solve puzzles. There are also puzzles that only involve self-logic. Little to no stars in this game—unless they’re hidden too well.
Hints too expensive

definitely not their best
by ddjksjsjdkskskd on 2020/05/13 00:25
just as a precursor, i am a HUGE haiku fan. i’ve played their current adventure escape portal hub to absolute death and i am eagerly awaiting the release of the newest cabin/woodsy game they have in development. since they’re still developing it though, i decided to play some of the standalone games they have, with the understanding that they’re older and don’t have quite the same polish. that’s a bit of an understatement for this one. the scenes are pretty muddy, to the point where i didn’t know a lot of things were the objects they were until they were pointed out to me by the hint system. the puzzles themselves are either incredibly easy or frustratingly obscure. also this game not only heavily employs the “g” word (g*psy) but makes it out to be something inherently evil. i don’t think the current team would make such a mistake, and i don’t think the old team would have done it had they known it was a slur, but it’s still definitely something to point out. tl;dr i would go find an old kate gray game instead.

by belant1023 on 2020/05/12 07:43
Fun game. Challenging clues. Good storyline. The one flaw is that game progress is not saved within a level, so if you don’t complete a level in one sitting, you have to start it from the beginning when you return. Quite annoying.
Great Game
by LexZ257 on 2020/05/12 00:39
I love how simple some puzzles are, and how complicated other ones are. I like that the game has a lot of variety, it’s not just HARD HARD HARD MEDIUM HARD. It’s, okay we gonna start out as easy, then go medium, then go easy, then you’re gonna spend 4 days solving 1 puzzle, than we’re gonna go back to medium, until you beat the game. Really makes you think though, and I love that.
Fun challenging game
by RMVKS03 on 2017/01/28 06:43
I love escape the room & puzzle games and I really really enjoyed this game!! It was so good that I didn't want to put it down, but luckily it was divided into levels, so it was easier to pause and continue the next night. It has nice graphics and a simple but interesting story line. What I really enjoyed was the challenging puzzles and complex tasks. While some of the other reviews said that it was not intuitive enough, that is what I enjoyed most. If the first solution I thought of didn't work, I would go back through everything and look deeper into the clues. I was able to make it through and only had to use the hints 4 times, so I had plenty. One suggestion, a few of the tools could be a little more obvious, like the clothespin and tongs. Also, I did need a piece of scratch paper for 2 of the puzzles. If you are looking for a challenge this is for you!
Trying TOO Hard!
by Loogher on 2016/11/23 04:47
I've played all the escape games from Haiku, and I've also played tons of other escape games. Haiku still is the very best, but this recent Midnight Carnival is very frustrating in places. It almost seems like the game designers are trying to "out cute" each other, and it doesn't work. For example: The balloon game seems self explanatory. Put the 5 balloons in order by color. I tried every possible combination, and nothing worked. So, I began using clues to find out what I was doing wrong. I bought ALL the clues available, and it didn't help. I couldn't even buy my way out, because the solution regenerates. The clues seemed to clearly say that all 5 colors had to be used, but not the case! That really upset me. Now I'm stuck trying to unlock a drawer with flags and clocks as clues. I figured it out fairly easily, thinking how neat a design it was, but NOOOOO! The order of letters which SHOULD work, does not work. Trying too hard...but still the very best escape games I've found. They will be leaving a great LEGACY! Another thing that I enjoy is the story which accompanies the game. They are pretty well thought out, which I cannot say for other games!
It’s free, play it already!
by Herb Robb on 2018/09/30 03:14
Intriguing atmosphere, not really bizarre or scary, but well crafted. Game play and UI seem to work pretty well through first two chapters. Music loops pretty quickly but the gnawing repetition works with the sort of weirdly disconcerting carnival / witchy feel. Additional sounds effects could have added considerably more to the odd and spooky ambience with another few hours of effort. The graphics are the strength of this game, even if they are 2D, they are moody, colorful and fairly well done, although animation is minimal and a bit crude. The puzzles are not particularly difficult, especially if you are observant and use the clues. Story line is diluted with dialogue that infuses some weak romantic chemistry and humor aimed at adolescents. Character development is similar to a comic strip, but that is fairly standard for this genre. All in all, the game has entertainment value that will satisfy casual players who enjoy escape / hidden object games. But it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and you shouldn’t either. Given it’s free, we really shouldn’t expect much more. Thanks for your efforts!

Challenging but amazing game
by Allyz6 on 2017/10/18 10:17
The game gets harder as you go on but as long as you're patient and determined, you'll be able to solve all the clues. I like how it gets harder as you progress and the graphics are amazing. I'm definitely going to keep getting games from these creators!! Most games don't challenge me enough because they're to easy but this was a perfect mix of easy and hard. It's right up my alley. If you're into point and click games or escape games, than youll love this game. Tips for the game- don't waste all your stars in the beginning, wait till the end and make sure you keep trying a problem before you use stars. Sometimes it's better to take a break and come back to it later. All the clues are solvable, you just have to use logic to solve them.
Fun Games!
by Zombie.bear on 2018/09/14 07:41
I downloaded all the games made by Haiku after I completed one of their game which is escape from asylum. The artwork in this game is very beautiful and the puzzles are set in well-balanced difficulty. In the future, I would like to see escape games of different theme/genre. For example, one could put focus on romance and be played from the point of view of two different characters and make them work together to solve puzzles. I also would like to see the game plot like “And Then There Were None”, where a group of people are together and they are murdered one by one, and the way to stop the killer is to solve the puzzle to reveal his/her identity.
Love The Haiku Games!
by Kimissee on 2017/03/19 17:06
I believe they are all winners and highly entertaining. These games keep your interest piqued (or mine anyway). These are games that actually make you think and keep you interested. The developers are awesome and I hope they keep it up! I have read good and bad reviews and this game version seems to have more bad reviews than any of the other Haiku games and there are some challenges but isn't that why games of this nature are played and enjoyed? The hidden object games just get old! Don't you think?? I love Haiku games and look forward to plying each and everyone available. Thank you, Haiku :)
Finally, a challenging free game!
by Eribbets on 2017/09/05 22:22
I have played so many escape games and so few of them are actually challenging, but this one is - AND the graphics are beautifully done! My first game by Haiku, and I can't wait to try others. Story was just okay, but I'd forgive a lot more for a game this fun to play! I got through this game without using a single hint. Yes, it was frustrating sometimes, but I just came back to it a little later and even that small change in perspective helped a lot. Don't let other reviews scare you off. If the puzzles were intuitive, they wouldn't be puzzling...duh.
Not their best
by AaronT AK on 2017/12/14 18:31
I almost quit playing near the beginning because there was too much dialogue for me. A lot more than the first two from Haiku that I played. Also, the use of "witch/gypsy" symbols got old. However, it was an interesting story, and the dialogue lessened as I continued to play. And though I thought all the non-standard writing got annoying, I enjoyed doing the sudoku puzzle - after I translated each symbol to their corresponding number and wrote out a sudoku puzzle on paper (with normal numbers). Also, I don't usually care for "puzzles" that only require time and trial & error. I still enjoyed the game, and completed it, but I liked Asylum and Time Library more.
Not that good
by ayylimao on 2017/01/07 19:53
If you're looking to play good escape games, play any other game by Haiku. They're great, but seriously dropped the ball with this one. The story is meh, plus the whole hunting of gypsies is culturally insensitive at best. The puzzles aren't intuitive at all, and not even fun once you finally figure out what you have to do - and that's saying something, because I usually love Haiku Games' puzzles. Seriously, if you want to play a game like this one, play anything else from this developer. If this is your first game from Haiku Games, stay away! I promise the other games are way better than this one, so start out with the other ones and maybe come back to this game if you have played every other game from them.
Love all your games but energy runs out to quick in all of them
by riotgrrlnj on 2019/04/13 11:23
Love your games, have them All downloaded let me just say the balloon puzzle was by far the hardest I couldn’t understand what I was doing wrong but then I figured it out. Great story great puzzles I just cannot stand how fast your energy runs out especially in murder in alps which is one of my favorites and in escape cult your sopposed to figure out what parts of the globe to press based of the pictures in the wall but I have no clue what part of the world the one is and the globe is shapes no names so you have to know what each one is and I have no idea I’d need a globe to figure it out lol

G**sy is a racial slur....
by bmc121389 on 2020/02/15 15:24
The game itself aside... the term g**sy is cosidered pejorative, offensive. What the game means is fortune teller or mystic. G**sy is a negative term for Roma people and should ideally be removed and replaced within the game, although I know this game is old, so this is unlikely. I had none of the major glitches that were in past reviews. I did have an issue with a level not saving, but this is true of all the adventure games. They only save once you complete so don't start playing a level if you dont have the time to finish (or be very careful to not close the app or let your phone die). This one did have a few really interesting puzzles. They were less obvious than some in the other games and I loved that. The lower stars is mostly for the ignorance around the slur.
Fun at the Carnival
by TayZ4Real on 2018/03/29 15:36
This is one of the best escape games I’ve ever played! Although it’s not a typical escape game, you are forced in each area to collect items to move forward through that area, and find a way to keep moving deeper into the carnival. I love the magical aspect to it, because it’s not something you see often in escape games, and I love that the main character is a female, who is strong, independent and powerful. I also love that the game includes puzzles deciphering runes and breaking spells. This is a wonderful experience, and not at all frustrating.
Played before but a glitch now makes it unplayable
by meganissimo on 2020/03/04 20:46
I've played this game before all the way through and found it entertaining, even though certain challenges were too finicky to be enjoyable. I re-downloaded end the game to play it again and am stuck with the dolls. Tapping on the note left by the crow only allows you to read it, not pick it up, thereby making it impossible to create the perfect doll that lets you complete this particular challenge. You can't even pay with stars to skip the challenge just for the sake of moving on. This new issue makes the game unplayable, and not just in the sense of a poor opinion, it's literally impossible to progress in the game beyond this point.
Cult Mystery and Carnival are Really Great Games
by Gribouille de la Tour on 2018/10/02 14:59
Cult Mystery is an excellent game. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Great graphics and interesting puzzles that offered just the right kind of challenge, not too easy but not too frustrating either. Good plot and nice music too. Strongly recommended. Also very strongly recommended is another game we’ve just completed — Carnival. All the positive comments provided above for Cult Mystery are applicable to Carnival too. We greatly look forward to playing other games created by this company. Many thanks.
Love Haiku games!!
by Okgame72 on 2018/08/05 18:55
I have played almost all of the Haiku games and have to say I am addicted. I love that everything you have to find in their games is actually used and that it relates to the game (If it looks like you need a wrench you find a wrench, not a teapot, a candlestick, and a letter V which when found somehow give you a wrench.) It is not full of hidden object or match 3 puzzles that you have to solve for no reason. I hope they make more games soon including a sequel to the carnival game ( I like the characters) and additional detective games.
No WiFi Game
by Widderune on 2020/03/14 01:51
This game plays like a escape game, but it has a plot with cutscenes (hence, Adventure Escape). Many of the puzzles can be solved with ease, but the developers leave enough difficult puzzles for you to try and figure out (the hard puzzles are usually at the end of a chapter). You can find and collect stars to use as currency for answers, but try not to use them unless it is necessary. The best part (of course) is you do not need any WiFi to play this game. Haiku Games craft their apps rather well. No disappointments so far.
Adventure Escape to the Carnival
by BaDewey on 2018/10/20 02:49
I really enjoyed this game. It was challenging and so I had to use more hints than normal but they were more for trying to understand what I was supposed to do in a game or two. I just started doing things sometimes and figured them out and sometimes had to think outside of the box to understand a game, but other times resorted to hints. The chapters were not always straight forward; looking like there was nothing to me done but eventually I'd figure it out.
definitely not their best
by ddjksjsjdkskskd on 2020/05/13 00:25
just as a precursor, i am a HUGE haiku fan. i’ve played their current adventure escape portal hub to absolute death and i am eagerly awaiting the release of the newest cabin/woodsy game they have in development. since they’re still developing it though, i decided to play some of the standalone games they have, with the understanding that they’re older and don’t have quite the same polish. that’s a bit of an understatement for this one. the scenes are pretty muddy, to the point where i didn’t know a lot of things were the objects they were until they were pointed out to me by the hint system. the puzzles themselves are either incredibly easy or frustratingly obscure. also this game not only heavily employs the “g” word (g*psy) but makes it out to be something inherently evil. i don’t think the current team would make such a mistake, and i don’t think the old team would have done it had they known it was a slur, but it’s still definitely something to point out. tl;dr i would go find an old kate gray game instead.
Pretty cool!
by DelleeComeOn on 2017/03/10 06:00
This is the 8th game I've played by Haiku Games. It was very fun! These games certainly have grown on me, as they have pretty good stories, and excellent puzzles. I probably should be giving most of them 5 stars, because they are free as well (if you don't use IAP). Some of the reviews are critical of the puzzles as unintuitive, but I have to disagree. They are very intuitive; they just sometimes require some additional thinking. If anything they could just be called hard. I definitely have these Adventure Escape games to thank for giving my brain some extra exercise!
Good as a paid game would be
by cvhgamer on 2017/01/10 21:12
Like many, this asks for review before one has much experience. It starts well, puzzles are comparable to good games, graphics mostly good except sometimes not a back arrow and one gets stuck on a page. Pop-up comment clues are very helpful. Add on: now that I have finished, this is a really good one. Puzzles are mostly way cool and embarrassing how you can be looking at a simple solution in plain in sight and not see. I would recommend this one.
Very Challenging
by Diamondjewell on 2017/03/19 19:02
This game is very challenging, but I think there should be more free hints or at least the stars needed to buy hints should be reduced. It's also somewhat hard to follow the flow of the game without type of hint. Many more captions at the top of the scene can aid the gamer by revealing what needs to be done. Other than that, the game is interesting but I find myself getting restless and bored during the scenes where its hard for me to determine what needs to be done.
Chapter 3
by mandy922 on 2019/08/21 05:39
I like the game. I like the solving and the mysteries. However, I believe it is Chapter 3 where you get to the mannequins, the MOST annoying part of the game. Using an iPhone, you constantly have to click on the body parts to match. Instead, there should be arrows to turn the body parts to match it faster. I understand the game is supposed to be hard but I don’t want to keep clicking on the game all day and get frustrated either. Other than that, the game is fun and I enjoy it so far!
It’s broken! ☹️
by Andrea_Crego on 2020/02/05 16:23
I have played a LOT of Haiku’s games, they are my addiction lately! I’ve given mostly 5 star reviews to the others, but this one is the first, of idk, like 20 games I have played, that I simply cannot continue because the interface won’t respond! It’s not your fault, Haiku, I’m blaming the latest ios update, but please fix it so I can continue playing, please? It’s the part where you have to pose the four mannequins to match the reflection. The 3rd chapter. My experience was that I could begin posing the arms & legs, but after a few changes, the app just stops recognizing any more adjustments. The rest of the game still responds, i.e., I can go between the rooms, (so the entire app is not frozen) but I cannot complete the puzzle. Thanks for all the great FREE games!
Creative puzzles
by auberrylane on 2018/07/29 19:10
Love all the Haiku games. I’m not a fan of supernatural themes but some of the puzzles were really creative— specifically the diorama was brilliant! I haven’t had to use a walkthrough at all, which is great. The hints have been enough. On some of their others like Allied Spies and Framed, I had to use walkthroughs for some that was frustrating. I’m halfway through this one but wanted to support Haiku because they’re the best in the genre. Will update after I finish.
The Best so far!!!
by Garlicbeth on 2018/11/02 07:42
I’ve played several of the escape games and this is the best so far!! Challenging and the hints give just enough to progress. The story line is solid and the graphics is nice. Even the music flows with the game! Looking forward to playing it again sometime. Only one suggestion, Please find a way to save a game mid-chapter!! It is a little frustrating to lose progress into a chapter when the game has to restart. W.D.
FUN and Creative...Play It!
by SmartyMartyMartelli on 2019/08/03 03:17
I disagree with the reviewer who said Haiku is “trying TOO hard” here. Of the four Haiku games I’ve played so far, this has been my favorite, hands down. I think this game has the best blend of both challenging and intuitive puzzles, woven into a creative and compelling story. The ONLY puzzle that really stumped me was the sliding bars/tile puzzle—but I still solved it within fifteen minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend this game, and I thank Haiku for the fun evening of play. Can’t wait to try more games!
They did it again
by Suffering101 on 2016/12/20 21:37
I've played almost all of the escape games from haiku and they're all so amazing. I just finished this one and I think it's one of my favorites. You play as a witch so the element of magic comes into play and you don't get to see that with any other of their games. It's especially really good for a free game. It's actually challenging, I think the story lines are nice, and the art is great. I would definitely recommend it.
Great game
by BannyRoo on 2017/08/20 22:56
I kept waiting for the charge to complete the game but it was completely free!!! The puzzles were harder than most of the games I played. I had to use a paper and pen to figure out the answers, but with thought I did solve them. Wish they had a note pad so I could have taken notes or a camera to take a picture instead of having to use my owe paper and pen. But I did enjoy the game.
Great Games!
by Michaelbassham on 2017/03/28 00:10
All of the Haiku games I've tried have been very good. I highly recommend them. The puzzles range from fairly straightforward to challenging. The graphics are well done. One of the aspects I like the most is that they are set up as a continuing story, much better than those games that are just a series of independent rooms with 4 or 5 clues to pass through. I'll be looking for more Haiku games.
Enjoying it so far
by Paddler19 on 2017/04/09 15:27
Having a good time playing it so far. I like that hints are provided free for solving some of the puzzles. Once thing that irks me a bit is that you progress is lost if you do not finish an area. I'd expected my progress to be saved. More of an annoyance that anything else, since there's no way of knowing how much time you need to complete an area, and if you need to stop, you have to start all over. Plus, some puzzle/games take at least 15min. Only play if you have a good amt of time.
One of the better ones out there!
by Hollywould3 on 2018/03/30 04:14
If you are a follower of these point and click/adventure games then you know there are a LOT of crappy ones out there! This one is so beautiful, challenging and well done and I look forward to exploring the other games by this developer.... I hardly ever write reviews but this game deserves major kudos! I’m really enjoying it!
Challenging
by chelle7700 on 2020/08/24 18:49
I enjoy that the puzzles are a bit more though provoking. Update: not sure if it’s just an issue on the iPad, but the theatre box puzzle will not let me collect the saw or the magic. Everything else is clickable, except the box and the items. I clearly can’t continue without getting the item. It all feels like a waste of time now. Another update: had to restart the app a few times to get it to work
Kinda annoying
by CitrineGinger on 2019/09/17 05:31
First, please don’t have random puzzle answers in your games. The balloon puzzle was annoying. The story and characters are relatively interesting, but the mannequin puzzle is where I stopped. Not because it has to be 100% accurate, but because they’re hard to move. I had to tap multiple times just to get the arms and legs to move ONCE! I wish I could say, “Hey, this is awesome!” But, if you’re going to be specific with puzzles, make it easy to control them.
Not my favorite Haiku game
by i Love iToys on 2017/02/12 04:55
I am going thru all the Haiku escape games right now. This one was ok (3 stars) and better than other escape games due to having a plot (albeit weak and trite) and graphics (+1 star) but the puzzles seemed off. Too obscure and too many of them were too hard and/or long. E.g., the mah jongg game was very big and took multiple tries so took a long time. I had to pause to do other stuff and lost all my progress on the chapter. Very frustrating.
Enjoyable but some puzzles don't work
by MYA1218 on 2017/08/05 00:22
I like the game and think it's challenging enough to not go by too quick but easy enough to not take forever. Only thing I didn't like was how some of the "sensors" don't work. In one of the puzzle games you have to rearrange some dolls and you could love them. The game wouldn't pick up your actions. I had to reinstall, so the first three chapters all over again, save my stars and skip that puzzle when I got there. Fix the bugs please!
I'm doing this for free stars.
by HannahSpots iiiii on 2018/06/25 18:21
I love these Adventure Escape games, I've downloaded every single one. Each one being better than the last! This game is challenging, highly addictive, very well thought out, and overall, just plain fun. Keep up the great work! Plus, when you make the next game, I suggest another detective Kate Grey one, but, where she's investigating a suicide! Thanks!
Third time's a "charm!"
by MomMonster2 on 2017/09/08 06:10
This is the third Haiku game I've played and so far it's a bit more challenging than the others, which is great! So far, the only escape rooms i've played that were more challenging was the room series, and I had to pay for those! So far, I haven't had to buy clues (sorry guys!) but I'm getting the sense I might need to for this game. Keep up the great work!
Awesome
by redman_tt on 2019/12/28 03:48
Don’t normally write reviews but this definitely deserves one. It was challenging but I loved the puzzles, had me working at 90% brain capacity the other 10% was being used to control my eyes and fingers. Loved the puzzles and artwork of the game. All round beautiful and fun. Only disappointment is it had an end but was a very satisfying ending. Will play more game from this developer.
Magical fun!
by Kayy5 on 2017/01/12 05:42
I enjoyed the magic element in this game; I'm glad the developers decided to switch things up a bit and add a twist to it! It was a nice and refreshing change. A couple of the puzzles were a little confusing and didn't really make much logical sense but other than that, I really enjoyed it. I love the adventure escape series and can't wait till more new games in this series are released. Keep up the good work developers!
Amazing
by meraysheomi on 2019/12/21 02:49
So much fun. Keeps me occupied mentally especially as a cancer paitent going through chemo first time but second time fighting cancer. I defeated it so twice now just love the story line and is a game i can play over and over. Just love the puzzles story and art work please make a sequel to this one as well the shapeshifter one i love all these games keep up the amazing work
Impressive!
by JaneSaysFU on 2019/01/23 15:18
This game is really good! The puzzles are difficult, yet not impossible. I’d like to ask the genie in the game to grant a few more hint “stars” throughout, though the lack of a lot of hints makes this game last a bit longer while you try to think through all of the puzzles. Excellent job, I will be playing more games from Haiku!
I figured out a cheat
by KC61512 on 2018/04/23 02:47
Lol so I love Haiku games this is the 2nd game I have played through this month. I absolutely love the fact that the hints don’t help. The point of playing these games is to figure it out. With a little determination and clever thinking none of the puzzles are impossible. I honestly saved my stars to be able to skip the sudoku like puzzle.
Nice graphics, endless puzzles are frustrating.
by Another Friend of Shep on 2020/04/12 22:37
As a one-time carny, I would love to search a midnight carnival in search of a lost girl, but all one can do in this game is solve one useless puzzle after the next, and still get nowhere. Even if the puzzles were as fair as a game joint, it would be boring and frustrating - as it is, you can go broke buying hints and still never unlock the codes and other puzzles. No carnival games seem to have anything to do with carnivals, just insoluble puzzles. Nice graphics- wish I could see more. Waste of time snd space. 48 hour delete.
Like this and other games from Haiku
by imlizr on 2017/03/17 16:48
The puzzles are varied, different and challenging enough (for me anyway ;-) or are a twist on the normal ones. It's not heavy on video and voice - which I like. The storylines are cute and not overly dramatic. Most of their games supply ways to earn sufficient hints to help you if needed. I have played them all now and hope for more in the future.
Another Amazing Game by Haiku Games
by Pixieechick on 2016/12/17 07:25
Once again Haiku has made a hit game, I literally wish these games could go on forever!! The perfect mix of challenge and fun. Better mini games than almost anything else I've ever played, including Big Fish games! This game requires you to think and to be perceptive but it's always fabulous fun. (You are gonna love the fun house level!) A++++
Great story lines, makes you use your brain!
by Putty8878 on 2018/08/28 05:05
I love escape games of all kinds but the ones by Haiku are truly amazing, with great story lines, games, puzzles that really make you use your brain and think. I suffer from a lot of anxiety and so to get out of my own head and into this game has helped me so much. Highly recommend all the Adventure escape games!

Love it

Hints too expensive

just as a precursor, i am a HUGE haiku fan. i’ve played their current adventure escape portal hub to absolute death and i am eagerly awaiting the release of the newest cabin/woodsy game they have in development. since they’re still developing it though, i decided to play some of the standalone games they have, with the understanding that they’re older and don’t have quite the same polish. that’s a bit of an understatement for this one. the scenes are pretty muddy, to the point where i didn’t know a lot of things were the objects they were until they were pointed out to me by the hint system. the puzzles themselves are either incredibly easy or frustratingly obscure. also this game not only heavily employs the “g” word (g*psy) but makes it out to be something inherently evil. i don’t think the current team would make such a mistake, and i don’t think the old team would have done it had they known it was a slur, but it’s still definitely something to point out. tl;dr i would go find an old kate gray game instead.

by belant1023 on 2020/05/12 07:43

Great Games!
