Good game with bad intentions
by adian djfjd on 2019/12/09 23:35
This game is very unique in gameplay, it is one of the best and only real-time strategy games where you control your army with power ups. It is a simple yet exquisite game. The problem is that this game wants you to empty your wallet. The campaign, only 200 levels in total of 4 episodes costs $20. That’s an insane price just to play the campaign. Guess what else is crazy, the new heroes added are $50 each. 50 FIFTY DOLLARS!!!! Zillion whales you gotta do something to make this a more wallet friendly game or the reputation of being a pay to unlock game will still follow you.
Ad glitch
by Caveman8007 on 2019/12/09 18:18
This is a great game. My only concern is that some of the ads don’t allow me to close them after watching the video. I have to close the app and I lose out on whatever reward the video yields.
Wow
by jrvsgsudbgsys on 2019/12/08 19:50
Vary fun but I wish you did not have to pay for most of the campaigns other wise I have never seen such amazing game of conquest and pvp and more like different faction I am a game maker my self but much inspiration a impressive graphics and just wow
Over complicated
by Jamin-G on 2019/12/08 13:27
Took a simple beautiful game and complicated it, made it unfair by adding higher level, instead of relying on strategy

Terrible predatory company
by Sormflaith on 2019/12/05 02:23
Screw Zillion Whales. Most predatory company I’ve ever dealt with. First they destroyed the pc version of this, which we paid $20+ for, just to push us over to micro transaction laden mobile version, and put the full functionality I had on pc behind a $2.99 per month pay wall (not terrible, but still wasn’t happy with it). Now they upped that pay wall to $6.99 per month. I’m done. I literally feel like Zillion Whales took my money and ran away with it. The product I thought I was getting no longer exists. GG Zillion Whales, you ruined an otherwise great game.
Pay to win
by Ted sheck on 2019/12/01 04:54
Pay the ‘premium’ cost and now you will have unlimited power during matches
Solid in many ways, but lag is unbearable
by hokirob on 2019/11/30 14:57
Fun Game, nice graphics, neat idea and the battles are quick enough that one can play for short bits easily. There’s an opportunity to watch videos to double prizes, but you can skip them if in a rush and not feel guilty. I paid for the single player campaigns and have won most at the easy or normal levels, so more challenges await. Biggest gripe is the lag in the PvP is too often and too much. The chance of victory drops a LOT when it takes 3-5 seconds for on-screen commands to occur. Basically, the opponent has my buildings before I can respond at all. The videos crash the app about 1/4 to 1/3 of the time as well, that seems high. Next time, before paying for the single player matches ($13.99), I would play 10-20 matches as PvP and if no lag, then yes, put up some cash for the expansion. If it’s lagging while sitting in front of your WiFi with no one else on... decide if you want to pay up for that—it’s frustrating. Sometimes he lag is fine but the bulk of the time, it’s enough to help me lose. It’s a little old at this point.
Pay to play
by Bobstalh on 2019/11/30 03:04
Was a good game but they are starting to be more of a pay to play game each update brings more and more gimmicks trying to get money out of you
Great game, but is laggy and expensive
by edresser on 2019/11/29 20:17
I really love this game and have recommended it to many of my friends and it’s truly my favorite game on mobile now. I do have two major problems with this game though. The first being the fact that it is insanely expensive to play the campaigns and I really don’t think that’s needed. The other items are also quite expensive, like the pass, which in most mobile games is $5, but in this it’s a lot more. The second problem is that I often lag out of the game, where all start a match or be in the middle of one, then my game will either freeze, or just shut down the app altogether. If these two items could be fixed that’d be great!
Pay to play
by Phokeengreat on 2019/11/29 17:52
This use to be my favorite game, recent updates have caused the game to be all about spending money to win. Just hate how greed can ruin such a wonderful game.
Extremely P2W
by PurpleBananaDinosaur2916235 on 2019/11/29 06:08
After you play like the first 5 levels on campaign, you have to pay money to play each of the episodes.
It’s still fun but not what it used to be.
by kakdnen on 2019/11/28 21:22
It’s a really fun game. Reason why I only give 4 stars is because the new update completely redone the upgrade system. Making players stronger not Bc of wit, but Bc of upgrades. It’s more frustrating now to play rank due to players that aren’t as smart winning because of their upgrades being much higher. You can still beat them. Just a bit annoying. But overall still a fun game. With or without ppl that spend money to upgrade, it’s still fun and more fair than most games that have spenders rulling rank.
Good

Fun but ....
by superbocho on 2019/11/27 20:03
The game is alright, its fun and interesting. The bad thing is that everything costs and the price is not cheap either lol. A bunch of adds in order to keep playing. Very money driven but I dont blame them for that.
Great game except
by Yay100 on 2019/11/27 17:08
I paid for campaign levels and the latest campaign has said coming soon for months and I read a player saying it was years saying it was “coming soon” Change some of the focus I see on pay-play(win) to the campaign and just making the game play overall better please.
Don’t buy the campaign, you will still have to pay to play it!!!
by Ddgjydf on 2019/11/21 22:08
Pure greed and the absolute worst example of “pay to win” I’ve ever seen. They make you think you bought a playable game when you buy the campaigns, it’s not... not even remotely. You can make it through the one star missions, but you’ll quickly realize you can’t level up to play anything harder without paying a LOT of money. Horrible.
Fun but....
by Grimm7 on 2019/11/21 16:25
This game is awesome but you have to pay to level up characters. There is no experience base leveling up and after a point you can’t beat levels anymore. It’s frustrating because this is not a cheap game I already paid money to play. Make it fair and have an experience based level up so I can move on. 5 stars once I can play again.
Fun at start...then hit cheat wall
by MorethanMortius on 2019/11/21 02:18
This game is fun at first. You will win approximately 50/50 win loss rate. Then when you go up a couple loss you will hit a wall of cheaters and you will only won about 20% of your matches. If the cheating /crappy matching system were fixed this game would be great. Those who will say l2p...blah blah blah...I can show you recordings of players with an endless stream of toons, invincible towns...that is cheating.
Greed ruined competition & fun
by yoda148 on 2019/11/19 18:08
Pay to win. That’s what the latest updates brought. The game is no longer as fun or challenging. You win if you’ve paid lots of money/time, you lose if not. It wasn’t always like that, but the update removed much strategy and skill. It’s been replaced with pay to win. To be competitive, you must put at least a year into the game, or hundreds of dollars. I’ve played hundreds of hours but I won’t continue. I paid for the campaign which they didn’t finish releasing. No more! It now just feels like a rip off. Many veteran players are jumping ship now. Unfair game dynamics, it’s all about money. To be competitive you need about 3 million gold for passive upgrades, double that to be a pro. You also need a couple million to upgrade heroes. Every 3 hours you can unlock a chest with 400 gold, and daily play 2 hours for 10k gold. So roughly 15k gold daily, whilst investing several hours and checking all day to open chests. Do the math, that’s 400 days, 1200 hours, just to be even with opponents. Double that to be a pro. So before you play, do you want to invest 1000 hours or $200? Or neither? It’s too bad because I used to love the game. Stupid update...
Great Game Plagued with Ads
by N3FF on 2019/11/19 17:53
Been a fan since I purchased Mushroom Wars on the PS3 and this version is beautifully done with even more added to the game. However, you guys really fell into a money grab with how many ads you plague you players with. The energy is by far the most ridiculous thing considering the cost you place for upgrading skills in the first place. I understand you need to make money back but you should let people pay a $20-50$ premium to bypass this Ad nonsense and play the game as it is meant and you have your money for like a standard game. If you have energy this game is 11/10 great, the ads, ridiculous needs to upgrade and energy required to play even 5 games straight bring this down to a 5. And that is coming from a loyal paying player (over $100 invested and still plagued with this BS) Really disappointed, wish you would do more for your loyal players.
What is going on?
by Pantala99 on 2019/11/19 01:21
Broken, unbalanced multiplayer, horrible development choices. This game has major, major balancing issues. Far too many to even begin to list. Character development was already a joke, and now the developer has made character development even more tedious to address some major issue they found? What about all of the actual major issues that make this game a complete exercise in frustration? I simply don’t understand. Edit: multiplayer is in a constant state of change for the sake of change. When there aren’t consistent rules for measurement, how can you possibly develop any coherent strategy? It’s absolutely ridiculous. Most players already have a well below 50% win ratio. And now there is no option to even decide how many players you want in a match? Ludicrous! If you can’t win 1 vs 1 half the time, why would the devs throw in random 3 and 4 player matches? It was already frustrating enough, and now win % can only plummet further. This game is just a frustrating joke with clueless developers. My advice, look elsewhere. Anywhere else. Update: In their infinite wisdom, you now level up in multiplayer and are “rank” matched against extremely uneven opponents. And the more you rank, the stronger you get. How do you balance a football game? I know, let’s give the team that wins the most, more players on the field. That will make it fun. Idiotic!
Fun with 1 problem ok 2
by Howittzers on 2019/11/18 22:56
I paid the $11 for all episodes, yet I still see advertisements. Beware when you pay on this game you will still get these. Annoying. Won’t be spending any more money on this one. Oh and another problem, if you have an iPad and iPhone, forget about syncing your accounts.

Great game
by Justreviewsifthereisaflaw on 2019/11/17 16:57
This is a terrific game that involves lots of strategy and planning I have only played around 30 matches and have developed a strategy that works most of the time. The game is really great at making you learn your play style with like the 15 different characters. I’ve only unlocked two and almost the third but man I’ve hade some time figuring out the two. Overall great game lots of effort put into the game creation
Steep level progression
by Jimmy D Productions on 2019/11/17 16:52
After awhile the AI is able to produce insane numbers and keeping up becomes a chore versus fun. Repetitive game play and the three finger tap control to select multiple places is spotty creating more frustration then enjoyment. Earlier levels are fun later levels are tedious. I wouldn’t say it’s a buyers remorse but I would not pay additional money without an addition of better strategy tutorials. Will update if anything changes.
Waste
by Rgonzo3909 on 2019/11/15 04:55
This game started amazing. Highly addictive. As soon as you get into the higher difficulties you realize upgrading anything becomes a joke. Everything is way to expensive and the only way to get more of what you need is to keep pumping money into the game. Grinding it out is not even an option. Multiplayer does offer a little bit more coins as long as your not constantly getting your face rocked by people willing to pay more than you. This game went from awesome to a joke. You can have several hundred more troops than the enemy. Armory’s defenses and still just get crushed if they have bought more upgrades. That’s not strategy it’s BS.

Greedy greedy Monetization. Makes EA jealous
by jwall911 on 2019/11/13 03:27
I played mw1 and loved it but this version feels heavily monetized. All the campaigns are locked behind paywalls, I remember paying for mw1 levels which are the same but couldnt restore purchases. Then the multiplayer is very pay to win. If ur not premium ur not going to beat a premium guy cause he’ll spam abilities and you’ll have no chance but at the low levels everyone’s free so u can have some fun before ur crushed by those who pay

Best game I’ve played on mobile... EVER
by gamer boi 9000 on 2019/11/03 03:11
Ok this all started back in mushroom wars one, I stopped playing when the campaign started to cost money so I deleted it. Fast forward 3 years to #2 and I haven’t played anything since I got it. I haven’t checked my clash of clans base in weeks. If you don’t have this game, get it. If you don’t like this game, get a life. My last two brain cells take great pride in this game.
Hardcore Pay to Win
by Sterfry8 on 2019/10/31 19:06
This game is a lot of fun but it is very very pay to win. There is only so many abilities you can use over a certain period of time before they have to refresh. You have to play subsequent games without them. If your opponent still has their abilities, they win. You can pay to have them refreshed, you can pay to for better heroes. This game really has potential, but it’s unplayable if you want to be competitive without paying a ton of money.
PAY TO PLAY
by JakeWillis on 2019/10/31 02:25
It used to be fun. Now it is completely pay to play. The premium membership subscription service makes it completely and totally unfair. It’s a shame. The subscription doubles money, eliminates the power recharge and makes the playing field completely unfair.

Pay to win game
by bg108060 on 2019/10/30 18:34
. The only negative issues I have with this game is the in app purchases, it’s not so much about the skill anymore with these types of games it’s just a ATM for the developers!’ Either sell the whole game for a specific amount and allow access to all the content!!
Welcome to Pay to Win :(
by Imamagicmuffin on 2019/10/29 20:29
This used to be one of my favorite games! I love strategy RTS domination games, and this one has great gameplay, but recently it has become less about skill and more about money. The upgrade system is the worst part. You need to spend an insane amount, literally millions of in game coins, in order to be fully upgraded. The upgrades make you objectively better and it removes much of the element of skill. A fully upgraded player can’t lose to a non-upgraded player unless they are actually trying. I used to be in the top 100 players and after playing the game nonstop for a year, I took a few months break to come back to this travesty. I originally tried to financially supported the game by buying the campaign, and I wish that this is the route that the developers took instead. Hopefully, they lower the advantage of upgrades, make the upgrades obtainable without pouring months into the game, or take them out entirely, but I doubt they will do so. The pay-to-win system has nearly ruined one of my favorite games.

Very fun and addicting
by Jake with a K on 2019/10/28 06:23
I find is this game incredibly fun, but then I’ve always been a fan of RTS’s. If you don’t like RTS type games, then this probably isn’t for you. Taking a star because of a few missions are more luck based than skill and expert level is virtually impossible on some of the maps.
Update Makes Game Unusable
by Awful123456789 on 2019/10/25 18:21
If you have an iphone 7s or below them dont bother. The latest update allows me to play offline only and only if I set my phone to airplane mode. Response from the developets was that they are now loading things in the background. My response to that is check your code because youre doing something wrong.
Horrible!!
by Allieapplesauce on 2019/10/24 16:05
I can’t even play campaign because of the lag that constantly occurs. And as for that new rudo game that ends in a couple days, the few games I’ve managed to complete, not one single game was even close for me to win. The other team would have like 4 buildings before mine could even reach ONE. Every time! Every move to over take my buildings was sketchy. I wish I hadn’t paid for this.
Just one problem
by funguy247 on 2019/10/24 07:19
The game is good in most ways as far as I see it. Besides the fact it favors pay to win but that’s not surprising or even a point of frustration for me cause they are just trying to make money. It would be a great game save for the fact that there processing power can’t match the game. Whether online or off the game experiences major lag here and there, enough to make it almost impossible to play.
Disappointed
by lordaloha on 2019/10/24 03:57
This game is super fun even when the battles feel horribly skewed beacause of the pay to play problem. My biggest problem is I got Marty-O, it gave me the experience and then when I went to play him it said I needed 5 more Marty’s. What? I wrote an email explaining the situation. With no response and now five chests wasted on additional Marty’s, I’m disappointed. I didn’t want to review this but apparently this is how you do things now days. I can’t believe I’ve even spent the minimal money I have to play this game. I will change my stars to five with a response and chests back. I’m super disappointed with the team y’all have not working on CUSTOMER relations

So close yet so far
by RapidfireX on 2019/10/23 04:37
So close yet so far. If I considered only gameplay when writing reviews, MR2 easily deserves 7/5 stars. In a market full of uninspired mobile games that repeatedly rip each other off, MR2 provides something truly unique. Hands down, I would rate this game in my top 3 mobile games of the year. Every game, there are many opportunities for players to “outskill” their opponents on the strategical level, making gameplay extremely satisfying. However, this gets me to my second point, it is beyond Pay-to-Win. BEYOND. Ok fair, lock the campaign behind a paywall. Copy supercell’s idea of “leveling up” skills in order to gain an advantage over your opponents before the game. BUT WHERE I DRAW THE LINE, is when you make an energy bar for skills (this means that if you use enough skills in a match against an opponent, you will literally not be able to use skills in the next match against a totally different opponent). Skills are a HUUUUUUGE part of the game, without them it is impossible to win against any half-decent player. So WHY? WHY? Why, are these skills hidden behind an energy bar? Why is it that every match I have to handicap myself before deciding if my opponent is “good enough“ that I must use skills to win? At some point, I can’t even play the game like it should be played.
You have to pay!!
by Dom27870 on 2019/10/22 22:00

Annoying
by MyBreathSmellsLikeAir on 2019/10/22 13:50
The tutorials take way longer than they need to. It almost seems as if they think we have the reading speed of a 2nd Grader, for the majority of the time you’re just sitting there waiting for the tutorial to stop suspending your progression or actions, there should be a skip tutorial option
Talk about greedy
by mdzreview on 2019/10/22 03:22

Pay to play is terrible
by pay to play is awful on 2019/10/20 17:22
The game was good up until I found out that it was pay to play, on playing the story mode, after around level 12 I think, it cuts you to this screen that says 5$ to buy the whole story. I was not happy that you had to pay 5$ just to play the campaign. I really wanted to enjoy playing through the story but the developers made it a pay to play. But the multiplayer is somewhat good, but also has flaws. When I try to use my special abilities the abilities stamina bar is only 10 and each ability drains the bar very quickly that I had to use 10 gems each to fill it up each time, and after every battle you would be left with just enough to do 1-2 more abilities. At this point I’m even more annoyed because gems are crucial things that you need to progress in some areas of the game. Even the characters are pay to win. Each character can cost 5$, one of the good chars tees costed like 50$ which is insane. Sure you could earn the special character parts but you would again need to buy the story mode just to unlock some of them as you progress through the levels. I also couldn’t believe how much gold costed to upgrade ur character’s ability, the ratio to get gold and to pay off the upgrade is absurd. My upgrade costed 9k and each chest only gives you around 800 gold. Keep in mind that each silver chest would take 2 hours and you only get to hold up to 4 chest slots and if you had all silver chest it would average about 3k(for all chest) gold but would have to wait 2 hours. At that rate getting that much gold would take absolutely forever. I can’t believe such a good game gone to waste to a pay to play
Pay to Play.
by DailyDoseOfStuff on 2019/10/20 16:09
This game is not free to play whatsoever. There is even a character that costs 50 dollars! You can not continue with the campaign past level 8 if you don’t buy it. I am severely disappointed with this game. :(
A money grab
by Kapitaj on 2019/10/20 09:50
This game is literaly about you paying to have fun. Every single aspect of the game is made in such way that it requires a purchase. Can't even open the chests or do upgrades properly if I don't spend at least a few hundred $. Utterly disappointed by this considering this is such a good game.
I really do love this game
by N124513 on 2019/10/20 02:05
This game has been one of my only mobile games that I really loved for the past few years. I've gotten pretty good at it, and I really do enjoy the gameplay. I feel like the heroes are pretty balanced, at least now, and that the actual gameplay is very skills-based. But now, especially with the new update, it's becoming pay to win. It's really sad for me to be honest. Not only has it become incredibly difficult to upgrade character skills recently now that you have to pay to upgrade each one individually, but the new anniversary event is really just a cash grab. I love the skin that I saw, and was really excited to work towards it. I started working at it, and got up towards level 20 and beyond very quickly. I even had a little nest egg of gems built up just for the occasion, and I was ready to trade them in for the event currency. But as the battles started costing more and more, and it appears that it's designed to be almost impossible to win any worthwhile prizes, or to work your way up to the skin without paying money. Before I saw that the prices per game were increasing, I even spent a dollar on extra gems just because I knew that what I had wouldn't quite get me there. But now it's clear that I probably won't get there, even spending hours of gameplay and winning most of my games. It just isn't really possible to get enough of that new currency without paying for it, or watching endless ads. It seems like this game is moving more and more in this direction overall, and it really makes me sad because it's such an amazing game. I think that they could make plenty of money charging for things like custom skins that don't actually affect gameplay. I think people would be interested enough to buy those, and that they don't have to do cash grabs like this.

Greasy Rat’s response
by Rodger233 on 2019/10/19 16:54
This is my favorite game in the whole wide world!! One of my favorite touches to this game is that the top character u can get is a rat a mystical one too! That’s not the only one thou other things about this five star game is amazing!! It’s really like the only good conquest game in the world with lots of excitement and rage ;)!! One more thing this is not a pay to win, even thou the top rat is like 50 or 100 bucks he can still get beet by the first level character Rudo which is pretty cool if u think about it. This game is a more skill based game. Now we gotta talk about the power ups or perks that u can use!! Most of them are pretty okay nothing too crazy but the character that I personally hate is the Phaom which has really Op perks! I think the creators should nerf him a bit if that’s possible. The one thing that I HATE is one of his perks which scares ur units off from a designated area and then he just attacks with his entire army. Obviously there are counters to this but I haven’t figured them out yet. I’m still on iron league I think, but it’s still such a fun and interesting game which never upsets me.
It’s ok but but oh have to pay to play

This game is fun, on the off chance you can even play it. The lag is so incredibly bad all the cut screens and tutorial stuff lags so bad the app crashed a dozen times before I could even play. Occasionally you can play lag free on the campaign but you had better hope there isn’t much happening on the screen. I would officially give this a half a star but....I couldn’t. Please for the love of god either delete this game or fix it so I can enjoy sending drives of tiny mushroom men to die.
Monetization is out of control

Cute game, would’ve liked to have just been able to buy the game but instead you’re just nickle and dimed to death. On top of all the bits and pieces you have to buy to get a playable game, stuff is locked behind ads etc. Hope Zillion Whales moves to a more ethical form of monetization.

Amazing Competitive Game!

I love the game so much, but single player is lacking competition, I love the game, but I find multiplayer way better than single player, if you could make the Bots that you play against in single player a little better, it would be a 5 star. I love the game, keep up with the good work and stay awesome!

by Adrackll on 2019/10/01 16:48
This is the best RTS out there. If your looking for a great RTS this is it. You have to play through a small amount of the campaign to unlock the multiplayer but just bear with it. The multiplayer is where it’s at.
Pay to win trash
by Zoidburglar on 2019/10/01 00:45
It’s a very simple game that appears to be a fair match, but players who have bought the talents have better, faster and faster producing units. The worst part is your opponents talent lvl is hidden so you don’t know if the match is worth playing.
Fun but disappointing
by silurians on 2019/09/30 14:26
So it is really a fun game up until the point you need to pay. Ok so yeah I get it the developers need to make money, but to show it as a FREE download then ask to pay after stage 5 is not orait. This game should be advertised as a payed game instead of trying to trick the users.
Used to be a cool game
by Hairy peanut 7 on 2019/09/30 01:05
Used to be a good game until everything revolved around them making money. Constantly downgrading your already fully upgraded characters (that took time and skill to upgrade) with each patch they put out. Might be fun in the beginning but trust me after a while you will seriously be done with this game and its developers.

by Grappler1979 on 2019/09/23 07:30
I get you are trying to force usage of other characters for some odd reason. If users play 2v2 so the ratings don’t go down why do 90% of the 2v2 maps start with the partners away from each other. It becomes more like 2 1v1 games which is stupid

Was my favorite
by Lazyovermatch on 2019/08/19 13:34
I really enjoyed this game in the past but it has become pay to play. To have an edge you need to upgrade your base troops, to do this you need runes. To get runes you have to level up, to level up you need to upgrade the heroes, to upgrade the heroes you have to earn lots of gold and cards. It takes a long time to save to really upgrade your heroes. The average chest, that takes 3 hours to open, only gives 400 gold. The first time you upgrade a hero ability it’s 3,000 gold which only earns 90 XX to level up. This is crazy. Now the as you continue to upgrade your hero abilities it becomes more and more expensive. The only way to really advance in this game is to watch a crazy amount of adds as well as spend money on gems. A solution would be to add ways to level up that do not involve spending gold or gems. Maybe actually playing the stinking game should level you up. I am very disappointed to see this game turn to pay to play. EDIT for latest update: nothing buy pay to play now. You have to upgrade through XP only gained by spending gold and gems. If you don’t upgrade you’re at a serious disadvantage to those that do. With this update you cant even choose the order to get your upgrades to support your play style. You are seriously turning a great game into trash. You need to choose, pay to play or adds not both. I’m about to delete it, no more add views from me.
Best competitive rage game ever
by CripTeC on 2019/02/02 12:39
OOOOHHHHH YEah boi Ive been around since mushroom wars 1 and oh man I’ve never stopped loving this game. Other apps come and go but I always see myself coming back to mw they come out w MW2 (not modern warfare) originally and it sucked, you couldn’t get any of the characters for multiplayer w/o paying for campaign, each character has unique skills that makes some better than others. THANKFULLY THEY FIXED IT! Now we’re able to unlock all characters over time BUT my personal favorite part of this game is that skill will carry you through 100%, no matter what character you choose or if you even use the powers. That’s why I love it bc I’m a vet in this game and when I downloaded this I shot straight to the top bc of my skills and no pay for play could beat me. Plus watching other players rage quit is the best feeling! Hope this helped convince you this game is a keeper!!
Money based rip-off
by gamer gunk on 2019/04/29 12:41
I had watched many people play this game, thinking it was good because I like RTS games, but as time went on, I realized that this game seems more like a demo to me. The fact that you can only play 5 levels of the first campaign is stupid enough, but the fact that you have to buy everything is retarded. I have seen people’s reviews of this game, saying how they have put money into this game just to get it put into ‘coming soon’ chapters, I feel that that is a rip-off. You think the developers of this game would be kind enough to put into the game that the money spent on other chapters would be to show your support, they aren’t. They want you to think that you are buying the other chapters, but really, they are tricking you into a scam. Sure, you could try to reach out to the developers and ask for a refund if you found out the hard way, but they don’t care. In reality, the people who give this game 4 or 5 stars are probably just developers of the game under-cover to make the game look good, or they are just people with money to spend and too much time on their hands. I have decided to delete the game from my iPad because I want no part in this rip-off of a game.
All they want is your money
by Thetechg33k on 2019/03/13 04:30
Everything is focused around you spending real money in order to progress. Can’t even progress past 5 campaign games without it asking for money to buy the rest of the campaign, what??? Also in multiplayer, in order to use your abilities you have to have gems, you could use all of your abilities in one game and you’re out of gems for 8 hours. You can play multiplayer without your abilities and gems but you would more than likely lose to a skilled opponent. They have watch an ad option for everything as well, either way if you don’t want to pay and just watch ads all day, they’re still making money off of you watching ads for them, it’s just ridiculous. This needs to be fixed ASAP, the PC version of this game is nowhere as money hungry as the iOS version, on pc your abilities just have a cool down in game and you can constantly use them without having to refill gems. Devs you need to fix this money hungry aim for your game because players recognize this and you lose a significant amount of your player base due to the fact that your game is revolved around making you money.
It would be 5 But there’s something missing.
by mark8488384838 on 2019/06/04 21:48
I like this game for its multiplayer player feature and the ability to gradually unlock everyone. But it lacks in longevity if the consumer doesn’t get to experience the rest of the game or story without paying for it in pieces although we get to unlock and use the all the characters. For what it’s worth It’s basically a multiplayer game and meant for you to just grind, earn, and watch a few ads to get you energized and chests. For energy it’s 3 per ad and 1 energy for every perk you use in a war so if you constantly feel yourself using perks then you are usually going to be low on energy and eventually out of perks. There is a lot of ways to make money without giving half of the game. But I do overall love and play this games multiplayer religiously. It would be a 5 with more content with at least stories of the characters and more levels or Bonus levels. I mean there are so many characters how could some of the games campaign NOT be free?
Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t so bad on IPhone X
by Jkkkkll on 2019/03/01 18:44
They fixed the swipe issue on iPhone X! This game is amazing, thanks to the developers for fixing the biggest problem this game has. Amazing game, single player is lacking but the multiplayer is super competitive and deep for a small iPhone game. Highly recommended Update: had to take off a star as a warning against purchasing the campaign. They had a big update recently and released new levels of campaign so I decided to contribute and buy them only to realize the AI on higher levels is terrible. The computer basically screenwatches you and reacts impossibly well to standard attacks, so you end up having to use cheap, trial and error tactics on just about every map. I play with people ranked near the top 100 worldwide at the actual game and they can barely get through the first boss of the campaign since the AI is so lame to play against, requiring strategies that would be outright awful against even the biggest noob. Multiplayer is still fantastic though!

by Popcorn roller99 on 2019/03/12 05:03
HEY! Just want to say that I have been a on this game since MW1, that retched space version haha and also this one, MW2. I wanted to say that you guys are doing a great job with the game a there are a few bugs here and there that should be fixed but I still give this game a 5 because I wreck everyone...... except Elsh, I‘ll get him eventually haha. Even though it cost gems to keep using your character, I love how they give you different options to gain more gems for free like through TapJoy, just literally make life so much easier. If you guys can, could you make improvements on Ayner, I see all the other characters have had improvements but he hasnt and he’s one of my characters. Thanks so much if you can and looking forward to season 4 of the campaign. -Brandon_db
The whole game is locked behind a seasonal paywall
by AlphaBeauchmin on 2019/07/22 20:07
The game is pretty fun, but unless you’ll be willing to purchase a season pass to the story I wouldn’t suggest it. It lets you play a few easy levels through the map to make you feel like a boss, and then tells you “The free part of the game has ended.” Don’t get me wrong, I like the game a lot. However, it’s still one of those games that give you the choice of devoting an ungodly amount of time and effort into making yourself strong, or spend a little money and make yourself over powered, that and after awhile you have to pay to even continue playing. Spending money on something like Gems will not currently unlock the story for you, they’re separate purchases. These developers have made a pretty fun game, and if money isn’t an issue I recommend it. They deserve the support (even though it almost feels like they’re milking the money out of you). Otherwise, try not to get your hopes too high like I did.
Zillion Whales takes money for nothing
by Nicky023 on 2018/12/10 15:53
I have had this game for over a year now. What was once fun is no longer there. I have paid for the remaining episodes only to keep being that “they will be out soon” Apparently, a year with my money is still not enough time to release a new episode. I have asked for a refund, they refuse to do so. I asked Apple for a refund, they cannot do it after 30 days. So, basically Zillion Whales has taken my money and offered nothing in return. I have emailed Zillion Whales and an Ivan Shapovalov has responded with sarcasm and condescension. I emailed the CEO Andrey Korotkov, he doesn’t seem to care that they have essentially stolen my money as I have nothing to show for it. I am on a mission right now to get my money back. I will not stop until I have it. I plan on calling and emailing anyone associated with Zillion Whales until they admit they were wrong and give me my money back or until I become a thorn in their sides that I get my money back just to leave them alone. I will never again play another of their games if this is how they treat paying customers.
Over extended itself
by Kippaper on 2017/09/30 03:58
This game has become unplayable for months now, it randomly freezes and locks down all apps on my phone. I've seen several bug fixes but non have solved the issue. Meanwhile they keep finding new ways to get you pay to play. The developers are clearly over their heads, and I only say this because I love this game and I check back daily to see if they've fixed the issues. Good customer service would dictate they fix the problems and give back to their loyal customers who payed money to play and enjoy this game.
Still not fixed.
by Bellanne518 on 2018/08/16 06:04
This is totally ridiculous. The game still crashes on level 50, even worse than before. I can't believe I paid for this game after just a few levels, and this crashing problem is all I got for my money. If they can't get it together and finally fix the game, I will be demanding a refund. Edit: the new seasons have been “coming soon” for longer than I can remember. I play the campaign a lot, not multi player, and 2 of the 4 seasons I paid for are still not available. This new update crashes because they added a stupid army count progress that adds nothing to the game, blocks the screen, and causes crashes. I try to aim to move armies and this progress bar tells you what you’ve just done, and the game crashes. It’s distracting and all over the screen while trying to play, plus it’s redundant because I already know how many armies I’m sending! Please fix this issue, update the 2 missing seasons, and listen to your paying customers!
Idiotic!
RIP... mushroom wars
by dpc989 on 2018/01/20 15:22
I have never ever wrote a review before but this game has caused me to do so. I used to love this game and played it all the time with friends and family. However, after getting an iPhone X this game is literally unplayable. You can’t use any specials without closing the game out. I cannot fathom how a developer overlooks this when testing for quality assurance, unless they are more worried about the money versus the playability of the game. Which, judging by the way this game has gone with chests and spins and the model it’s taken on, I am going to guess it’s theory aspect. I’m all for developers making money for their work but I’m not for substituting the quality of the work for quick money-making. Developers out there look at this app for a lesson in how not to build your business model for your own. This app will be deleted from my phone never to return again unfortunately.... rip mushroom wars... it was fun while it lasted.
I REGRET SPENDING MONEY ON THIS
by Idk choose one ur self on 2019/01/28 05:22
My previous review was sarcastic but I don’t think it was obvious enough reading it. In all honesty a solid concept ruined by micro transactions and ads. Actually requires strategy in multiplayer for the most part so that’s a plus. Single player is mostly guess and check until you break the computer player on the hardest difficulty. Has the potential to be good but is rarely updated. Balance patches are all bad. Been waiting years to get the 3 level packs I paid for and so far have only gotten one. After dishing out 10 bucks this game still shoves micro transactions in my face. It really ruins immersion and makes me want to stop playing. I actually already have. I’m writing this review out of anger because the game is solid and I want to like it but they’ve added so many micro transactions it’s unenjoyable to the point it’s unplayable.
Pretty Incredible — Not Stoked on Specials
by Jakes feet on 2019/02/03 21:27
This game is awesome! Careful downloading it as you may be sucked into a vortex and suddenly notice time had flown by! Graphics, strategy, & a well balanced amount of complexity & simplicity are in this game.🤙🏽👍🏽🤘🏽 One problem though, you get special abilities to preform during the game. These are an awesome addition but they run out. Either you pay for more or give it time. That’s understandable, the makers should be getting paid. But what’s not so great is when you play live, it often comes down to who has special moves and who doesn’t. It’d be great if everyone playing had either equal amounts or none in live. The way it is now, it can be 90% specials and 10% strategy each game.👎🏽
Latest update ruined the fun
by dudenhofer on 2019/08/19 14:12
This has been one of my favorite iPhone games. I've even paid some money for a few updates and campaigns. But the latest update stripped all of my upgrades and requires us to re add the upgrades using a new system. The new system requires coins to make the same updates. Coins have always been the hardest thing to accumulate and now there is a giant step between those who were willing to pay money for their upgrades. It's really ruined the fun of this game when one players army moves faster and can kill more of your army with less troops. They constantly dominate and you know when your game is lost very quickly. If they rebalanced this I might change my rating, but this had been a significant change for the worse.
Been playing for 4 years
by Yee yee boi on 2019/08/14 15:23
Literally have enjoyed playing this game for years. But over last 6 months. Two updates ruined the game. Each update your entire account has made you start over with a new form of currency that you need to purchase to be competitive. Update seems to be more about greed then making the game more fun. Add content for us to pay for... new maps... heroes... episodes... etc... Ill throw money at you for that. Stupid passive tree forcing us to pay gold to become competitive again is greed focused on the bottom line not the customers...... I only buy content not instant gratification. Its a serious problem in this industry! This game in one update just became purely P2W from what I can see. Only the person with he biggest wallet gets to compete. *bangs head against the wall in frustration*.
Update 3.2 is a rip off.
by Benjamonstre on 2019/04/26 21:27
Let me preface by saying: I love this game. PvP is fun, engaging, and a simple concept executed well. Campaign is...frustrating, given the AI’s seemingly perfect responses to everything, but PvP is really where it’s at. This most recent update is upsetting, mainly because it practically doubled the grind time to upgrade heroes. Previously, upgrades required a full set of ability cards, plus gold. Level 4 to level 5 was 120k—steep, but not unmanageable. This new system was well-intended, I think, but greedy. The ability to upgrade individual abilities is great, but the increased cost is downright infuriating. At 50k each (level 4 to 5), the 200k price tag requires a mind-numbing amount of grind, with no buffs to gold drops from chests. I hear that there are rewards for achievements now, but I can’t seem to find them. I’m skeptical that the increase in gold sources will balance out the new price change. The whole thing seems like it’s aimed at encouraging pay-to-win behavior...I get the need to make money, but geez, way to give the finger to the rest of us. I bought the first two campaigns (well worth it!), but I definitely won’t be buying any more in the future if this is the direction the game is moving in.
Fun, but frustrating
by BROOT7 on 2019/08/04 16:52
I have been playing this game for about 3 weeks now. Once I complete the campaign, I went back through to complete it on hard and expert difficulty. The problem I encountered was that the AI is to much like a computer. It knows where you want to send your troops before you send them. Then sometimes I think it knows how many troops you have in one building. Basically the AI is too good. As an average player I can’t justify $14, to unlock the rest of the story. In my opinion if you want to play this in multiplayer or campaign you almost have to buy it. Unlocking more of the story will help you unlock other characters and upgrade you for multiplayer. It’s disappointing that the free version didn’t come with a little bit more.

by Clydefrogg on 2019/08/20 19:31
Greed over fun. Zillion Whales robbed me. This last update took away progress I made. I watched so many lame ads and made in app purchases to gain coins in order to upgrade characters in order to make upgrades and now all that progress was stolen from me!!!! This game. Have never, EVER been more obsessed with a game on my phone as I have with Mushroom Wars. However, these last few updates have really cut into the fun of this game. The “upgrades” are really just a way for the developers to entice players to make in app purchases and watch more lame adds to keep collecting coins in hopes of giving your character a tiny advantage. I think at it’s core this game is as perfect as you can get, 5 stars. But the greed of Zillion Whales is really killing my love for the game.
Play to win - Do not download
by WhoI5Juju on 2019/09/10 19:22
I have been a fan of this game since the original came out a few years ago. MW2 at first was a fun experience and unique because of all the different characters/abilities. After this recent update, there are so many micro transactions needed for such little upgrades and advancements in the game. If you don’t pay for these upgrades you will be severely limited against the players that did dish out the cash. This was a really fun game that got saturated with micro upgrades and transactions. It honestly made the competitive multiplayer unplayable for the people not willing to pay. I will not be playing this game anymore and I hope the future versions would go back to the basics and make it fun again. This game is now just a ploy to get your money ☹️. The developers sold out.
Cash Grab Lottery Game
by Dnsowofiabwlapxujbensms on 2019/03/20 16:54
So it promised a rich campaign and bosses, enjoy paying more than $20 for that. You get to fight one “boss” for free and that’s after you go through their multiplayer lottery. I’m calling it lottery because one of two things will happen: you’ll be paired with a buyer who’s in lower rank but has one of the absolutely broken hero’s that you have no chance of winning against from the get go, or you’ll be paired with a newbie and get to win. You’ll seldom get an “even” match. Especially in “2v2”, I’m constantly paired again severely out of my league hero’s with way more stars than the hero I have. By the way, the lowest chest takes 3 HOURS to open, for a few hundred gold coins and a few pieces that are most likely gonna be the ones you already have 20 of. This game was a great concept executed by greedy screwballs.
Not as good as original.
by RandyPot on 2019/01/24 22:42
I was a huge fan of the original mushroom wars, but I find the sequel to be a disappointment. The main reasons for this is that the special powers they’ve added pervert the strategic foundations on which the game is based, and they have failed to address some of the games basic weaknesses. The biggest weakness is that this game largely incentivizes sitting back and defending. Far too often do games result in two teams sitting there waiting for the other player to attack. Most of the time, the team that attacks first is easily defended, loses morale, and is routinely overrun. This dynamic leads to a lot of insufferable waiting around. Some of the special powers seem to be intended to mitigate this dynamic, however, the special powers make it even worse. There are far too many characters with far too any special powers that turn way too much of what used to be a fun strategy game into nothing but chaos and mismatches that simply aren’t as fun. Clearly, the largest reason for these characters and powers is to add a pay-to-win element of this game, which is vastly disappointing and frustrating when you don’t want to dump money into fictional gems and such. A once great game has been ruined.
Good phone game, I'm glad I can play it again
by Fildacup on 2017/11/24 21:04
This game has a great aesthetic and fun flexible play. The only down side is the charge bar that limits completely versatile play without micro transactions however the ability to use gems, the fact that the charge recharges and the random rewards you get after winning all allow for some forgiveness of this item. It also much like the souls we had in the first version, though more flexible. This game offers a lot of strategy and an excellent learning curve for players intense and casual. The differing heroes offer a lot of differing ways to play though a few are definitely OP. Give it a try!
Game is amazing
by Player3764 on 2018/12/22 21:53
I could probably play this game for hours. I have participated in some of the tournaments held and it was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this game to people who love strategy games as it’s unique in its own way and maps are great. Only problem is there are a few bugs like if I close my iPad while it runs in the background my device freezes up or when watching ads for rewards it does not register but those are minor. But that does not change the fact that this game is great.
Very Buggy
by CodyJay34 on 2018/10/26 19:31
I purchased the pack when the first campaign came out. I played it consistently. When I upgraded to an iPhone X, there were bugs so I quit playing. I now have an XS Max and I have started playing again. There’s a big where sometimes the game is completely unresponsive with commands. You can’t use abilities, move units, etc... You are able to pause the game and such, but it’s very frustrating when you’re about to win then you are completely unable to move units so you end up losing the game. The game is beautiful on the big screen, but the bugs are extremely disappointing. This is an awesome game and has been one of my favorites since it came out. Please look into squashing some of these issues!!

Since I was a kid I’ve been playing games like that (sadly I don’t remember their names, but the concept was the same). They had my attention caught for days and days long. And this one is quite interesting and unique as well. But it has a lot of work to do still. I don’t really understand how multitouch thing works. The tutorial on it is really confusing and when I try it, nothing happens (or total chaos starts). After some time playing it seems that without investing money you can’t go further (not considering grinding at all, it’s not fun in this game). So yeah, balance and features (like multitouch) need to be revisited and improved!
New release dates?
by Greenboat95 on 2018/08/25 20:33
I absolutely love the game. I havw been a fan since i played the first one on playstation3 and I could not be happier with the sequel. I bought this game almost a year ago with only two chapters unlocked and I have already passed all the levels. Whenever I leave the game for a while I always come back for more with the same excitement and thrill as always. I only want to know if the other two chapters are going to be released anytime soon? I am really looking forward to them.... thanks !
The price and play to pay aspect hinder this amazing game.
by d3l1ght3d on 2019/08/17 06:24
First, this a great real time strategy game with simplicity and depth. Easy to understand and incredibly adaptive and diverse in terms of strategy. Multiplayer is easy to access and a great way to meet new folks via discord BUT, The passive skills tree implemented in the latest update will have you paying out to stay competitive and even enjoy multiplayer. You hate to know you lost simply because someone paid more than you and this game will make you feel that. Otherwise a great concept if you buy the base game. Still waiting for the long over due last installment “mushroom trek” in the campaign mode.
This game was great until...
by MrLycan on 2018/10/24 00:42
There’s an odd glitch happening now. I’m not sure what it is exactly but I’ll do my best to explain what is happening. At crucial moments of gameplay, seemingly aligned with when I’ve made a move to gain advantage, a guy pops in from the bottom right corner of my screen. He has a irl face and animated body with a hat. He comes in and the game immediately begins a sort of semi-crash. Everything freezes up and then he disappears. Screen will occasionally go black with the active loading circle in the corner. Sometimes it’ll come back up but even when it does I can’t do anything afterwards. What is this glitch? Has someone hacked the game? He started the same day as this most recent update.
Is not fun anymore
by TOTTooogcvkurddcj on 2019/06/04 23:24
I been playing the game since MW1 but I enjoyed MW2 the most until now. The updates had made the game unequal. Only those who been playing it since the beginning have a chance. I been playing it since last year. Around Fall is when I download it. And this updates make it very difficult to cope. Is all about the money and those who been part of it since the beginning. If you are new to the game you will only try it look on how difficult it is because of inequality and delate it. And if you think that is from loosing, nop buddy. I been trying to cope with every update and this new one with the upgrades in the game with some red Diamonds just killed the game.
Great Foundation, but has an Achilles heel
by Moses Bidwell on 2019/04/23 16:31
First off, one of the best war games out there l, love the cartoon animation with the gritty Games of thrones like characters, gamely is great. But it’s very hard to level up without the use of gems and money and your hero’s powers are limit. Extremely cheap way of scamming gamers that want to win. Takes away form the game. They also make fun Champaign levels, locked behind a pay wall. Great base game, if you take away the pay 2 win aspect of the game. You can win at the multiplayer of the game without paying but if you pay money it’s faster and easier. Get rid of the pay to win and money system that rewards rich players.
Awesome, addicting - $$$???
by Beebopp15 on 2019/01/25 00:49
This game is like a new version of chess. So fun and addicting. I played for a few days, saw that you have to pay to continue playing the campaign, was around $2.99. I thought, how much money do they make already from me watching ads to get my skill back? Either way, I figured, $3 it was fun enough so I’ll pay that. I went to pay - the price went up to $5!! You say it’s to continue making the game fun!? Come on... this game would be 5 star if it was free and you could buy upgrades. 3 because it’s a great game and these guys have no idea how to market and make money off this game other than to charge a crazy price...
1-easy 2-extremely hard 3-impossible
by joshephphat on 2019/04/26 23:53
-The game is an amazing way to learn different tactics specially when one character uses defensive tactics and another will use offense tactics. There is no way to be completely undefeated. Which is great! -When it comes to the campaign the difficulty jumps drastically and is almost impossible to collect all the stars in any of the campaigns. -The player vs player game is more easier and will have more fun. When playing against other people you learn different ways to fight to use in the campaign.
Update kills better than a 5 star Klotz
by A Lowly Mushroom Warrior on 2017/12/06 05:08
The most recent update ruined the game. I have an iPhone 6 and loved getting on after the update to find that the game was throwing it back 30 years to times when games where pixely as all getout. I was excited to get on multiplayer to find it glitching out like Turbo from Reck It Ralph. It would periodically freeze and then kill all my people. Awesome✊🏼 Update: Bought an iPhone X hoping it would fix the problem. Turns out the game is unplayable on the newest iPhone. The home “button” is right in the way of power ups so you always exit out at the most crucial times. It also is super glitchy on multiplayer and works about 50% of the time. Mushroom Wars is really losing its charm.
YOU HAVE TO PAY TO WIN!!!
by nopenottodayyyyyyyyy on 2019/08/30 07:15
I really like this game! A lot!!! But I went from a 75% win rate to 34% win rate in less then a day! You have to pay to win in this game if you level up one time! When you level up the other players are so far upgraded that you have no choice but to buy upgrades or lose EVERY SINGLE GAME FROM THEN ON! I’ve watched replays and it shows the enemy count in the village. I’ve sent 100 guys to a enemy village that had 24 guys in it and didn’t take it over!? This game is fun but unless you got at least $2000 to spend (I’m talking about real money!) good luck upgrading your guy! Developers need to change this! I’ll be deleting the game now. It’s no longer fun to play especially because I’m not gonna pay to win!
New update
by mts jax on 2019/08/19 21:24
This latest update while neat in idea should have been more thought out. You’ve completely ruined the game for many of that have played for awhile now. After spending a lot of time at the diamond level and being competitive, you can’t beat anybody now that this update has happened. Sittting in 850+ ruins but it takes so long just to earn a little bit of coins to upgrade, and of course since you can’t as much you can’t get coins as fast. Bummer this was one of my favorites. I guess I will have more free time now. Keep ruining your game and many others will follow. You should not only have given every player their ruins back like you did, but the coins to match. Bye
If you like pay-to-win games, this is for you.
by BSD123 on 2019/04/22 01:42
This is truly one of the most monetized games I have ever played. Many games try their very hardest to get your money (as this one does), but only a select few make it so obvious that you must pay in order to progress. If you don’t take my word for it, play a match with another player who spends money on the game. When you realize you are no longer able to use your abilities while playing against opponents unless you pay, you’ll understand what I mean. Paying for addition campaign levels is one thing — a company must make money off of a free game. But when players who spend money excel so profoundly over those who don’t, that’s crossing the line.
I like the game :)
by Doltens😁😄😃😀 on 2018/08/27 02:36
I’ve been playing this game a good 3 hours now because of some YouTubers I saw. I really rocked in multiplayer and I was considering buying some campaigns because I said finally some honesty here. But then I realized I was beating experienced players which made me feel awesome then I got further in the game and started to see the math not adding up. Every time I took a building that was 15 units it took 20 units to take instead of the 15 units. It could be a bug but if you can make 15 units cost 15 units that would be awesome. Great app, great game, and great art.
Used to be awesome
by FuriousDucky on 2019/08/21 02:21
I used to play this game constantly and with the last update I’m changing my 5 star review to a 2 star one. Why, you ask? The game added a tech tree that offers zero control or specialization. If you’re not willing to pay to play expect 50% of your time to be spent watching ads wondering why you’re still playing this game. If you are willing to pay to play you now need cards, gems, gold, and runes to purchase upgrades or heroes, many of which require a combination of each so good luck having the correct amounts on hand. Hopefully, enough people speak up and they revert the game back to any of the earlier builds.
Forfeit glitch and pay to play story
by TheHoldenChild on 2019/02/12 09:10
This game would be a lot more fun if it weren’t for the fact that you have to pay to play the story and there wasn’t the relentlessly annoying forfeit glitch. During the middle of any game at anytime you and everyone else in the match (besides one person) is forced to forfeit resulting in a win for the remaining opponent and a loss for everyone who suffered from the forfeit glitch. Was in the middle of a heat 3 way free for all when this happened and it was a major buzzkill. That bug seriously needs to be fixed and the campaign needs to have a way to play through the levels (even if it limits you)
This developer only sees dollar signs and only cares about people donating!
by Wyldfirewyrm on 2018/03/31 15:51
This game would be amazing if it actually catered to a wide range of players. Sadly, it only caters to those with deep pockets. They make you pay for campaign modes, which should absolutely be free. The multiplayer modes constantly pair you up with high levels players, then offer you their in-game purchases when you lose so you can potentially compete with those players. Heroes take a long time to upgrade and obtain because the RNG likes to omit pieces you need and give you excess of pieces you don’t need, but fear not, because you can buy the pieces you need through in-game purchases! This development company should just change their name to GREED.

Wow

Vary fun but I wish you did not have to pay for most of the campaigns other wise I have never seen such amazing game of conquest and pvp and more like different faction I am a game maker my self but much inspiration a impressive graphics and just wow
Over complicated

Pay to play

Pay to play

Idiotic!

If ur not premium ur not going to beat a premium guy cause he’ll spam abilities and you’ll have no chance but at the low levels everyone’s free so u can have some fun before ur crushed by those who pay

by gamer boi 9000 on 2019/11/03 03:11
Ok this all started back in mushroom wars one, I stopped playing when the campaign started to cost money so I deleted it.
The subscription doubles money, eliminates the power recharge and makes the playing field completely unfair.

by bg108060 on 2019/10/30 18:34

You have to pay!!
by Dom27870 on 2019/10/22 22:00

by MyBreathSmellsLikeAir on 2019/10/22 13:50
The tutorials take way longer than they need to. It almost seems as if they think we have the reading speed of a 2nd Grader, for the majority of the time you’re just sitting there waiting for the tutorial to stop suspending your progression or actions, there should be a skip tutorial option
Talk about greedy

I think people would be interested enough to buy those, and that they don't have to do cash grabs like this.

by Rodger233 on 2019/10/19 16:54
This is my favorite game in the whole wide world!!

Favorite game on my phone

The diversity of ads lets me know that the game is successful. I’m really happy for the devs. Keep it up! Glad to see y’all delving into the lore. I see great things for the future of this game and it’s community. Rock on, guys!
Really good game but...

Pay to win

Would be better if they just charged an upfront price and had a level playing field for everyone. Too much upset and not enough game. Sad cause it has a lot of potential.
Latest update is terrible
by Grappler1979 on 2019/09/23 07:30
I get you are trying to force usage of other characters for some odd reason. If users play 2v2 so the ratings don’t go down why do 90% of the 2v2 maps start with the partners away from each other. It becomes more like 2 1v1 games which is stupid

-Brandon_db
Idiotic!
RIP... mushroom wars
by dpc989 on 2018/01/20 15:22
I have never ever wrote a review before but this game has caused me to do so.
“Not all decisions are popular but it is business.” Andrey Korotkov, CEO Greed over fun.
by Clydefrogg on 2019/08/20 19:31
Greed over fun.

I absolutely love the game. I havw been a fan since i played the first one on playstation3 and I could not be happier with the sequel. I bought this game almost a year ago with only two chapters unlocked and I have already passed all the levels. Whenever I leave the game for a while I always come back for more with the same excitement and thrill as always. I only want to know if the other two chapters are going to be released anytime soon? I am really looking forward to them.... thanks !
The price and play to pay aspect hinder this amazing game.
