Don’t get me wrong, it’s a free game and I have no problem with being shown ads, but I’m still in the somewhat early stages of the game, so the puzzles are solved quickly. I solved two puzzles in 15-20 seconds then had to watch a 30 second ad. Solved two more very quickly, and another 30 second ad. At this point, I’m spending more time watching ads than playing the game. If that continues to be the case, I’ll probably just stop playing.

Beware! First time at the game I didn’t come up for air until two hours later. But then I like mindless word games. Some are more challenging than others, but generally easy to work through. Only reason for 4 stars is my general aversion to spend so much time devoted to something that has virtually no redeeming value save addicting one to technology.

Actual game is fine. I like the daily puzzle. However since an update took place it is now impossible to close this app without triggering an add or at times multiple ones.
It does not matter how careful I am.
I am sure the sponsors are giving them royalties for each bogus click.
I’d suggest anyone looking for a similar puzzle game to find an alternative. I hope these people get caught.

Most addictive game, some sections come easy, others not, getting started often takes me time. Always try to put words together by phonetics. Love the game, use free hints when need too!
Lhasa level 20 stuck

Love this game up until last week. Stuck on Lhasa level 20. Solved the first 2 words and can’t form any of the next words. Used all my hints to solve but can’t move to next level. Have contacted support and they just told me that the next word is ELEPHANT. I know what the next word is and all the others but the puzzle won’t allow those words to be formed. Sure hope this bug is fixed soon.

The beginning levels are very easy for younger people. The levels can get very difficult and the hints help a lot. It’s fun to work with other family members. I had to get help with a level I couldn’t see the way through and the support is excellent so I’m increasing my review to 5 stars.

There are adds and that can be a pain but the game is really fun and the adds go quick! I’d also like to “add” lol that the developer emailed me the day after writing this review apologizing for the inconvenience of adds and explaining the importance of adds and their function for free games! (See below) This was super cool. Anytime someone takes the time to review what you have to say is awesome! Agreed that adds are important in allowing us consumers to enjoy free games! As stated in my original review. The adds go super quick so it’s not that tragic. They also provide an option for “no adds” which is thoughtful as well! Go developer! You get a 💯in my book! This game is super fun works fantastic and is really great! I’d recommend definitely!!!

I love apps that challenge you mentally. This is a good app to keep your brain sharp. It is find a word with a twist. Just a tip, don’t try to fill out the words in order. You have to find certain words first in order to find the other words. Also, you will find plenty of words that are not the right ones. The developer also uses bigger words in more than one puzzle. Words like bracelet, elephant, envelope, pizza, plaza lipstick etc. Look for these. You get a bunch of free hints in the beginning and I would advise holding on to those for later levels as they get harder as you go. I find that if I can’t find words, putting the game down and coming back later helps.

This game is so much better than something that just has you crushing little blocks of colored squares (or any shapes!). It at least engages your mind and keeps you thinking a little. It’s still a game, and there is a sense of satisfaction when you can get them right away - but it’s not totally worthless like some games!! I enjoy it!!
Why Name the Puzzles?

I completed the entire Wordful at the 20th Level about two months ago. Your message after completing all levels reads, “Coming Soon”. So far nothing has been added. Will you truly update the game? Or is this just a ploy? I love the game! I wrote The message below months ago. Wordful is a an amazingly enjoyable brain teaser!
I enjoy playing this game, however, I wonder why Name the puzzles when the names applied have nothing to do with the words of the puzzle. The different cities and country names have null to do with words unscrambled. Including this fact, nothing gives clues to the words. Otherwise, the game is great and amazingly challenging.

Hi so I just answered your little quiz to get five free hints and honestly WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?! “What is you age cause we’re really spying on you?” What the heck is wrong? I know you wouldn’t really spy on me or any on else for that matter but really please change those questions. I love this game! It's sophisticated graphics are eye-pleasing, unlike many of the other games that seem more suited to children with hyperactive animation, etc. My only complaint is that it gets to a point where it's too challenging with the larger puzzles and I spend too much money buying clues. I would love to just outright buy this game with unlimited clues included.

The ads are extremely cumbersome compared to other apps. I put my phone down and do something else while waiting. The puzzles are challenging especially the 7x7 ones. I use a lot hints just to get the first letter of a word- it’s that challenging! But that many ads playing too.

We love this game. I started and got my husband hooked. I didn't realize you could be ad-free until we bought hints (which we tried not to do but when we reached 7x7 we caved). When will you roll out more cities and levels? Also you may want to consider numbering the cities since each one has 20 levels.

Only rarely does this puzzle mess up and make completion impossible- but it has a couple times for me over the past six months and when that happens you always have the doubt in the back of your mind as to whether word is sequential or is the puzzle screwed up again!
As often as not, the “free hint” gives you 30 seconds of advertising and then leaves you stuck on screen without a way to X out. Seems they don’t want to fix that bug!

It’s very easy at first but then the obvious and easy words are hard to find. Don’t understand what the categories of cities have to do with anything. Glad you get more hints. Too bad there isn’t an option to see the first letter of a word or do one letter at a time to see if you’re on the right track.

Not only does this game clear the cobwebs, you also find it gets defrosted while playing. Don't kid yourself, the game gets more difficult with each new "city" you enter. If you get stuck, put it down and go do something else, and when you come back to it, a lot of things clear up.

than many other word games I have played. I find that this helps keep my mind working on a different level than most other word games....one never knows just how the words go together since they are not necessarily related. I view that as a great ploy. Keep up the good work and thanks for the fun.

I had brain bleed in Christmas Eve 2007, I didn't wake up until 2008 in January, I didn't remember anything that had happened to me. I've had a lot of trouble remembering things, this game help my mind work in different ways like it once did.

Some puzzles are unsolvable. Like Russia 12 where the word is “history” but not reachable. I complained to tech support and no comment. Not the first bug I’ve encountered. Now I’m where 6.5% players have reached. I’m guessing others just gave up. It makes it hard to play when you know the next word might not be reached. But they are happy to take your money for hints.

What a great game. It is easy to play anytime you have a few minutes of waiting time. It certainly takes your mind off your worries and provides a wonderful challenge. Games like this are fun and exciting plus your brain is stimulated. For me, it beats the violent games hands down! 💐

Once you get to know the style, it's an enjoyable warm up for more strategic word games- keeps your mind sharp and passes the time in a relaxing format. At first I was expecting the answers to be relevant to the level titles "Paris, Rome etc", for there are many possibilities, but they are completely random. Be sure to pay the $1.99 for ad free playing;)

I am enjoying the Wordful app. The words are common enough to figure out without any slang words, strange spelling or adding unnecessary plural or other grammatical endings for the purpose of making the word longer to fill space. It is just the right balance of challenging. However, I wish there were more opportunities to earn hints.

This is my third word game, it starts out simple, i have made it through San Francisco in just over an hour. It's fun to play and it should get more challenging in the higher levels. I should point out that it does NOT crash my OLD iPad!!! The other two word games crash once a day or so :(_. 4 stars.

I play this to try to keep my mind sharp. Actually my husband and I both play together. We’ve completed it several times and started over. It never gets old. Unlike us. We keep hoping for more new levels.

I like others have mentioned think the ads are too numerous. I understand that the game is free and the ads help pay however the frequency is annoying! I also wish there was more ways to earn hints. That being said the game is fun to play and fairly easy each level gets a little more difficult.

It's hard to stop playing. Most of the words are fairly easy to guess, which makes you want to keep going to the next level. Recommended!

Fun to play. Helpful hints are available and if you get stuck, use one to provide a letter. Once you choose, you're committed, no way to erase, so choose wisely. That being said, I've only completed four rounds. Hoping this will help strengthen my mind as brain fog is getting worse. It's just another layer in the pursuit of a healing & health.
Wasted hints ruin game

Kinda fun, but the way hints are handed handed out is just wrong. I just want hints for the first word, but you can’t do that, instead have to waste hints on other words before you can get the second letter hint for the first word. Scam to make you waste hints or buy hints, which I’m sure is their goal. And the price for hints is ridiculous. I don’t like games that scam you, not to mention then overcharging for the scam - deleted this game as a result.

First time user; seems to be potentially an interesting word game. The life of the game will depend on the upper levels and the future updates by the author or publisher.
Slow or lack of details/attention in future updates will cause people to get bored. The game must be as challenging as a cross word puzzle.

I would add the picture that I took of the game but there is no way to add it into my review. It was Moscow, Game 14. The word was “guard” - it was the first word to find. Because I found the word “ticket” first there was NO way I ever could have found the word guard or a few others within this same game because I found some of words out of order. This not very fair. I’ve run into this issue with this same word game. ☹️

The first several sets of puzzles are pretty easy. But give it time and you’ll be more than challenged! Great way to pass the time or have fun while keeping your mind sharp!

Lhasa level 20 stuck

Love this game up until last week. Stuck on Lhasa level 20. Solved the first 2 words and can’t form any of the next words. Used all my hints to solve but can’t move to next level. Have contacted support and they just told me that the next word is ELEPHANT. I know what the next word is and all the others but the puzzle won’t allow those words to be formed. Sure hope this bug is fixed soon.

I never thought I would enjoy unscrambling words. The more words I unscramble, the easier it becomes and more fun! Also, I like to solve the daily "Hint" that gives me a free letter to use in solving my puzzle. I can accumulate them to use later!

I downloaded Wordful and played for a couple of weeks & was up many levels, and then I signed on one night & I was back at the beginning at the tutorial. I had to begin all over again. Hope this doesn’t happen again.

Word puzzle is enjoyable it passes time and yet it is challenging at the same time. I have got my friends hook as well. I made it to level 17, then phone; here I am back at it.

Actual game is fine. I like the daily puzzle. However since an update took place it is now impossible to close this app without triggering an add or at times multiple ones.
It does not matter how careful I am.
I am sure the sponsors are giving them royalties for each bogus click.
I’d suggest anyone looking for a similar puzzle game to find an alternative. I hope these people get caught.

Great app! I love the daily challenges! Locks up every once in a while on my iPhone 7 but overall good performance. Latest update seemed to fix the locking issue!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a free game and I have no problem with being shown ads, but I’m still in the somewhat early stages of the game, so the puzzles are solved quickly. I solved two puzzles in 15-20 seconds then had to watch a 30 second ad. Solved two more very quickly, and another 30 second ad. At this point, I’m spending more time watching ads than playing the game. If that continues to be the case, I’ll probably just stop playing.

Beware! First time at the game I didn’t come up for air until two hours later. But then I like mindless word games. Some are more challenging than others, but generally easy to work through. Only reason for 4 stars is my general aversion to spend so much time devoted to something that has virtually no redeeming value save addicting one to technology.

The beginning levels are very easy for younger people. The levels can get very difficult and the hints help a lot. It’s fun to work with other family members. I had to get help with a level I couldn’t see the way through and the support is excellent so I’m increasing my review to 5 stars.

There are adds and that can be a pain but the game is really fun and the adds go quick! I’d also like to “add” lol that the developer emailed me the day after writing this review apologizing for the inconvenience of adds and explaining the importance of adds and their function for free games! (See below) This was super cool. Anytime someone takes the time to review what you have to say is awesome! Agreed that adds are important in allowing us consumers to enjoy free games! As stated in my original review. The adds go super quick so it’s not that tragic. They also provide an option for “no adds” which is thoughtful as well! Go developer! You get a 💯in my book! This game is super fun works fantastic and is really great! I’d recommend definitely!!!

I love apps that challenge you mentally. This is a good app to keep your brain sharp. It is find a word with a twist. Just a tip, don’t try to fill out the words in order. You have to find certain words first in order to find the other words. Also, you will find plenty of words that are not the right ones. The developer also uses bigger words in more than one puzzle. Words like bracelet, elephant, envelope, pizza, plaza lipstick etc. Look for these. You get a bunch of free hints in the beginning and I would advise holding on to those for later levels as they get harder as you go. I find that if I can’t find words, putting the game down and coming back later helps.

This game is so much better than something that just has you crushing little blocks of colored squares (or any shapes!). It at least engages your mind and keeps you thinking a little. It’s still a game, and there is a sense of satisfaction when you can get them right away - but it’s not totally worthless like some games!! I enjoy it!!
Why Name the Puzzles?

I completed the entire Wordful at the 20th Level about two months ago. Your message after completing all levels reads, “Coming Soon”. So far nothing has been added. Will you truly update the game? Or is this just a ploy? I love the game! I wrote The message below months ago. Wordful is a an amazingly enjoyable brain teaser!
I enjoy playing this game, however, I wonder why Name the puzzles when the names applied have nothing to do with the words of the puzzle. The different cities and country names have null to do with words unscrambled. Including this fact, nothing gives clues to the words. Otherwise, the game is great and amazingly challenging.

Hi so I just answered your little quiz to get five free hints and honestly WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?! “What is you age cause we’re really spying on you?” What the heck is wrong? I know you wouldn’t really spy on me or any on else for that matter but really please change those questions. Now I play a lot games to know that you can get daily awards and stuff so maybe you guys could do that I don’t know how much money it would or if it would even cost money at all but still thanks for listening sorry I yelled at you.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a free game and I have no problem with being shown ads, but I’m still in the somewhat early stages of the game, so the puzzles are solved quickly. I solved two puzzles in 15-20 seconds then had to watch a 30 second ad. Solved two more very quickly, and another 30 second ad. At this point, I’m spending more time watching ads than playing the game. If that continues to be the case, I’ll probably just stop playing.
Elegantly Challenging

I love this game! It's sophisticated graphics are eye-pleasing, unlike many of the other games that seem more suited to children with hyperactive animation, etc. My only complaint is that it gets to a point where it's too challenging with the larger puzzles and I spend too much money buying clues. I would love to just outright buy this game with unlimited clues included.

The beginning levels are very easy for younger people. The levels can get very difficult and the hints help a lot. It’s fun to work with other family members. I had to get help with a level I couldn’t see the way through and the support is excellent so I’m increasing my review to 5 stars.

The ads are extremely cumbersome compared to other apps. I put my phone down and do something else while waiting. The puzzles are challenging especially the 7x7 ones. I use a lot hints just to get the first letter of a word- it’s that challenging! But that many ads playing too.

We love this game. I started and got my husband hooked. I didn't realize you could be ad-free until we bought hints (which we tried not to do but when we reached 7x7 we caved). When will you roll out more cities and levels? Also you may want to consider numbering the cities since each one has 20 levels.

Only rarely does this puzzle mess up and make completion impossible- but it has a couple times for me over the past six months and when that happens you always have the doubt in the back of your mind as to whether word is sequential or is the puzzle screwed up again!
As often as not, the “free hint” gives you 30 seconds of advertising and then leaves you stuck on screen without a way to X out. Seems they don’t want to fix that bug!

It’s very easy at first but then the obvious and easy words are hard to find. Don’t understand what the categories of cities have to do with anything. Glad you get more hints. Too bad there isn’t an option to see the first letter of a word or do one letter at a time to see if you’re on the right track.

Not only does this game clear the cobwebs, you also find it gets defrosted while playing. Don't kid yourself, the game gets more difficult with each new "city" you enter. If you get stuck, put it down and go do something else, and when you come back to it, a lot of things clear up.

than many other word games I have played. I find that this helps keep my mind working on a different level than most other word games....one never knows just how the words go together since they are not necessarily related. I view that as a great ploy. Keep up the good work and thanks for the fun.

I had brain bleed in Christmas Eve 2007, I didn't wake up until 2008 in January, I didn't remember anything that had happened to me. I've had a lot of trouble remembering things, this game help my mind work in different ways like it once did.

Beware! First time at the game I didn’t come up for air until two hours later. But then I like mindless word games. Some are more challenging than others, but generally easy to work through. Only reason for 4 stars is my general aversion to spend so much time devoted to something that has virtually no redeeming value save addicting one to technology.

Some puzzles are unsolvable. Like Russia 12 where the word is “history” but not reachable. I complained to tech support and no comment. Not the first bug I’ve encountered. Now I’m where 6.5% players have reached. I’m guessing others just gave up. It makes it hard to play when you know the next word might not be reached. But they are happy to take your money for hints.

This is a very fun game to play when you just want to kill time, and it’s complex too! Some of the levels don’t make sense, but if you get friends or family to join it get’s better! Since this is so good, I would choose to rate this app of the month if I could!

What a great game. It is easy to play anytime you have a few minutes of waiting time. It certainly takes your mind off your worries and provides a wonderful challenge. Games like this are fun and exciting plus your brain is stimulated. For me, it beats the violent games hands down! 💐

I almost cleared every level on my last phone before I traded it in, so I had to start over with the new phone. But I like the game so much that I began again. It’s a nice way to spend a few minutes everyday to clear your mind.

Once you get to know the style, it's an enjoyable warm up for more strategic word games- keeps your mind sharp and passes the time in a relaxing format. At first I was expecting the answers to be relevant to the level titles "Paris, Rome etc", for there are many possibilities, but they are completely random. Be sure to pay the $1.99 for ad free playing;)

I am enjoying the Wordful app. The words are common enough to figure out without any slang words, strange spelling or adding unnecessary plural or other grammatical endings for the purpose of making the word longer to fill space. It is just the right balance of challenging. However, I wish there were more opportunities to earn hints.

This is my third word game, it starts out simple, i have made it through San Francisco in just over an hour. It's fun to play and it should get more challenging in the higher levels. I should point out that it does NOT crash my OLD iPad!!! The other two word games crash once a day or so :(_. 4 stars.

I like others have mentioned think the ads are too numerous. I understand that the game is free and the ads help pay however the frequency is annoying! I also wish there was more ways to earn hints. That being said the game is fun to play and fairly easy each level gets a little more difficult.

Fun to play. Helpful hints are available and if you get stuck, use one to provide a letter. Once you choose, you're committed, no way to erase, so choose wisely. That being said, I've only completed four rounds. Hoping this will help strengthen my mind as brain fog is getting worse. It's just another layer in the pursuit of a healing & health.
Wasted hints ruin game

Kinda fun, but the way hints are handed handed out is just wrong. I just want hints for the first word, but you can’t do that, instead have to waste hints on other words before you can get the second letter hint for the first word. Scam to make you waste hints or buy hints, which I’m sure is their goal. And the price for hints is ridiculous. I don’t like games that scam you, not to mention then overcharging for the scam - deleted this game as a result.

First time user; seems to be potentially an interesting word game. The life of the game will depend on the upper levels and the future updates by the author or publisher.
Slow or lack of details/attention in future updates will cause people to get bored. The game must be as challenging as a cross word puzzle.

I would add the picture that I took of the game but there is no way to add it into my review. It was Moscow, Game 14. The word was “guard” - it was the first word to find. Because I found the word “ticket” first there was NO way I ever could have found the word guard or a few others within this same game because I found some of words out of order. This not very fair. I’ve run into this issue with this same word game. ☹️

Lhasa level 20 stuck

Love this game up until last week. Stuck on Lhasa level 20. Solved the first 2 words and can’t form any of the next words. Used all my hints to solve but can’t move to next level. Have contacted support and they just told me that the next word is ELEPHANT. I know what the next word is and all the others but the puzzle won’t allow those words to be formed. Sure hope this bug is fixed soon.

I downloaded Wordful and played for a couple of weeks & was up many levels, and then I signed on one night & I was back at the beginning at the tutorial. I had to begin all over again. Hope this doesn’t happen again.

Actual game is fine. I like the daily puzzle. However since an update took place it is now impossible to close this app without triggering an add or at times multiple ones.
It does not matter how careful I am.
I am sure the sponsors are giving them royalties for each bogus click.
I’d suggest anyone looking for a similar puzzle game to find an alternative. I hope these people get caught.

Great app! I love the daily challenges! Locks up every once in a while on my iPhone 7 but overall good performance. Latest update seemed to fix the locking issue!
