It is a decent and good app for audio notes. I hope they add a feature to put different audio notes in different folders for better organization.

Great app, and I don’t exactly know how to contact you, so I’m hoping someone will see this review. You need to update the app, for some reason I keep clicking on the app and it’s not coming up. I keep having to delete the app and reinstall it for it to come up, and at some point shortly I click on the app and it just doesn’t come up anymore. The recording and note taking with synchronization are worthy of three stars ... BUT the file management and lookup are worth exactly ZERO. Wow, I don’t know who came up with that but it's very sad. I have used this app for years. Used it when listening to doctors discuss my daughters cancer treatments. I would recommend it for limited needs but if you record much you will not be able to manage those recordings and find them when you need them.

This app crashes every time I open it.

You need to click back arrow or change the pen to eraser......how about the undo function is made by tapping the screen with 2 fingers. Waaaaaaay faster easier better. Please make this update. Please please. I'm taking notes and to press back or change to eraser makes me miss what the teacher is saying

I wrote a critical review a few days ago after the app stopped working properly on my iPad Pro. With an update this week, it works again. I have always really liked this app, and now I am able to use it again without problems. Thanks! Hopefully this revised review will replace my previous negative one.

Once iOS 13 has hit i sent out an email to the developer telling them that I’m paying for their service however since the update my audio note only allows me to scroll a quarter of a page i cant read any of my previous notes and i have yet to hear from the developer to help resolve my issue i guess i need to go to otter

Every time I try todo something, like delete o file it deletes all files’ And when I try to copy and past to a page it will not let me.

Very good for general notes... I would like to be able to zoom in and out for more accuracy, but I can always dream.

I am disappointed with the new version. Actually paid for it, but have commercial advertisement in my version. I paid for it. Also, I am trying to get rid of the ads, but there are no options under setting to upgrade to get rid of it. Finally, the customer service is horrible for a company that hides behind help chat rather than have people you can connect with to possibly, increase their sales.

Most of my meetings are fast-paced brainstorm sessions with tons of information and ideas flying about. With the computer-based version of this app, I record everything and just type in the topic being discussed and a keyword or two. Later, I can find precisely the audio I’m looking for and listen to exactly that part of the meeting. It lets me actively participate in meetings without focusing on writing notes – and now I get every detail. Syncing with the phone app makes it even better.

How to?

I have an iPad mini and I can’t download this version which I really like. Is there going to be a version of this program that will be compatible?

Unless you plan on paying for this never ever except their request to download it. It’s not just that there’s ads there are TONS of visual ads and there are audible and they play EVERY time when you want them to play your recording you have to listen to an ad at the beginning and the end of your short recording it’s incredibly stressful. And forget using it in a business situation. This is so obnoxious. If someone knows how to revert to the original AudioNote Please let me know. But they push this so hard and make it difficult not to switch to this so I’m not hopeful.

As an attorney I have been using this app for several years. I use this app frequently and rank it in my top 5 “must have” apps! I use it during depositions and other meetings to record and take notes on. (*Approval is obtained before making any recording.) This app allows me to listen more and take less notes. I type in key words when using it. Upon playback if I want to listen to a particular section I just tap the keyword and the recording goes immediately to that part. You can also edit your notes afterwards by typing in more information during playback. The added/edited words can also be tapped during playback to go to that section of playback as long as you type during the playback. The audio pickup is very good as well. I had initially debated about whether to purchase an external mic, but I have found it is not needed for the most part as I only use this for my personal notes. Syncing with iCloud and Dropbox are simple, but I do wish they would add a sync for Microsoft Onedrive. Overall, I would highly recommend this app to any student, if the professor allows it, or professional that needs to record and take notes simultaneously. One reviewer cited a negative of not being able to record a telephone conversation from the same device running this app. This is not a problem with the developer. The microphone on the device can only be used for one task at a time i.e. - talking on the phone or recording.

Succinctly the 1st version ( no longer available) worked well and had no ads so I purchased 2nd version and maddeningly, it HAS ads. why is this an issue? because ads take space on your doc.

I have used this for some time now and enjoy the aspect of getting a time stamp on TEXT NOTES!!! Also, the audio is very clear in replay mode. I have used others, I Now stay with just this one app.

AudioNote 2 is a great App, however I’m very surprised that it only allows you to sync with iCloud and Dropbox. I am not a fan of either. I would love to see it allow me to sync my app with Google Drive. Once this is done, it would be a solid 5 Star App!

Direct, easy to master, with a little practice outstanding captures of both hand written / keyboard texts plus audio. Superb Windows 10 companion interface to help with the organization of multiple files if need be.

I downloaded this app hoping to be able to record meetings held via phone. Every time I would try to use audio not on my phone to record a call, audio note2 would stop working and give me a massage saying audio note was interrupted. There must be some kind of conflict if you are trying to the app to record a call on the same device. It works great for recording a conversation and take notes. There may be some utility in recording meetings when everyone is in the same room or you have another phone that has a speaker function

I can almost give AudioNote 2 a 5-star rating, and for the life of me, I do not understand how anyone could rate it 1 or 2 stars. I think that reveals more about user incompetence than it does about this excellent app. All in all, it’s nearly perfect. In fact, I hesitate to list what I think are its shortcomings, because it performs so well. But there are 3 aspects where I see room for improvement. 1. Better iPad integration with Apples Files app. I keep my current AudioNote work on my MacBook desktop, and I’d like to be able to open it on iPad and immediately edit. Instead, I have to download the whole audio file first. 2. Like nearly everyone else, AudioNote now requires a subscription to use advanced features. But I think the fee is unreasonably high. (And it would have been a good move to offer us early adopters of the original product a discount or some similar incentive. Nonetheless, the fee is too high.) 3. BIGGIE: Less complicated playback speed controls.

Probably got eight hours trying to debug the install / uninstall / reinstall while working with tech-support sent half a dozen emails on the issue still does it work deleting now. Then get the developer that conveniently states it’s an Apple bug and they put in a bug fix request. Oh well, looking for a new app...

I use this every day, but unfortunate when i tried to upgrade (audionote 1 bugged me to do “for free”) I now have an ad i have to try and hide during meetings and note taking times each day... something I don’t have time for when i need to type in the app. I’m often pressed for time during work and need to focus. I use the app for notes since the print is nice and bold ... anyway Generation one was a bit buggy but not as irritating as this (it crashed some (less recently, if ever) and sometimes is not intuitive when it switches away from typing for me but i learned the work around). THIS one has ads I can’t seem to turn off unless i pay $10 every time I turn around for the pro subscription... nope. I cant/won’t have a subscription i just want the app that works... and now that I’ve changed over it is hard to change back because i have started using this one for the notes i need.... the ads surprised me. I would have been fine with not free upfront... but I needed to know about the ads A side note to the developer. Please keep but improve “find” in the app to look for a partial word (i have to spell it out exactly including plural, if the word has that) also, it only finds one instance of the word. If i type in Bruce twice it will find the first one only Another point of feedback: I love the audio recording capability, but I daily use this app/ hardly “need” that feature. The feature i really use is the text, which is so clear and visible. Good job. I like the lined paper. Could we also have one a bit easier on the eyes, or more lined paper (just a “might as well ask”) and finally, i always had to add my own time stamps as i take a note.. i tried free pro to be sure I wasn’t being to hard on everyone.. I DO like that i can now have that feature. Thanks , and it does seem to add them during recordings or non so that is important for me.. I love that the app saves me time by adding the time of day, according to my device, for ANY new paragraph no matter if I’m recording or not. Professionals will love that. One a line below it, the current time of the recording could still display, if there is a recording. I see it is an either or right now. All in all, I might go back to the first generation for now but will be keeping an eye on this one.

I really like AudioNote! Use it in almost every meeting I attend. Problem is I have A LOT of recordings in the previous version that Audio Note 2 won’t seem to access because they are on my phone directly not iCloud or Drop box. Could I move all of my existing file to Dropbox? Yes, but I’d like not to HAVE TO. Don’t see why it can’t just offer option to access folders on my phone as well. If I am wrong about this, would love to know how I can get it to work...then would change my rating to 5.,:)

I have LOVED this app and it’s predecessor AudioNote until recently. I think an update is necessary. I can no longer trim the audio, and the air drop from iPad to my MacBook no longer works. My MacBook recognizes my iPad but my iPad won’t recognize my MacBook in this app. I use this to record lectures in grad school and take notes. It is very handy for this. Please fix audio trim and air drop functions! I will re-rate the app, if you do. Thanks.

Light weight yet powerful. Love it. The only inconvenience is that some buttons are too close to each other, I meant to choose one,but often end up touch the other. And my fingers are not very big. I am a woman. If a man, a fat guy download this app, just imagine!

Exactly what I was looking for. One suggestion: Better controls for trimming and the ability to splice in audio you can add for additional audio imported or not.

I am surprise to see that older notes have disappeared from folders. Asked for support, no response. Otherwise, works well but what is the use if you can’t review your notes because they are not there?

AudioNote is an amazing app. AudioNote 2 is not worth going to a monthly subscription fee for just the text size enhancement. My old pro version of AudioNote had a one time payment and works just fine without the annoying ads and the monthly subscription fee. Why would I want this upgrade?

Adds in apps can be alright, such as the ads in my weather app Wunderground and Storm. Now in this app, Audionote 2 wants the adds to interfere with my user experience. For what reason? To pay company seven bucks minus some pennies each and every month for what? Demand is not in control for such a price fix when Supply of many other good apps such as Audionote by Qrayon or Recorder by Denys Yevenko, or two other Recorder apps that all hands down truly out performs this app from my user experience with the other apps. I already had your lower end one number down from 2 and have not much cared for it either. I hoped that the hype about this model was true for the experience I would like to operate my audio notes-to-File. Instead, of clean white space my Markdown editors provide so concentrating on writing prioritizes over control clutter, these bad timed adds open full screen and next thing I'm looking at Safari open on my writing and thinking. Whoosh, there went a great thought for my tagline. What if it's the one that rockets my business. I'll never know now. The safari opening was wrong, so wrong that the shimmering light in the dark inspiration got so totally blown away that I'm feeling like I've forgotten the name of this ill conceived strategy of annoying adds app's name already. So pay you more for better sound quality and the fact I can't airdrop my recordings from my iPhone 6 to my new iphone unless I pay the fee, not once but each ongoing month without any stated end, ends in for eternity of as long as I would use this app-way to a hoe in my wallet. Simply, I wanted another Audionote type app such as by Qrayon similar to Audionote by Qrayon for a separate topic. This app, unfortunate, because I was not fully able to access my audio files along with bad, very bad adds completely in the way and popping full page did not allow me to even explore the app in any context outside of bad, very bad app. I am now going to take a pause to reflect on deleting the other three apps, bundle purchased, so not to be associated with such an identity branding itself left of terrible placement and timing of adds in the way of user, poor, poor user experience. If a bucket of golf balls at the range doesn't persuade me to keep the other apps, then prior to deletion, I do thank you for your time and effort developing your apps along with the hard work you placed into long hours of design to implementation and to market. I apologize that the adds were for me a tactical error of implementation. Regardless of my decision best of luck to you.

I absolutely LOVE this app! I wish I would've had this app back 20 years ago when I was in college! I liked to take notes in class while recording so that I could later go back and add to my recording and add to my written notes. Being that had to use a mini tape recorder to record the lecture, I had to spend hours fast fwd to find the part of the lecture I needed to hear. This app is a game changer for me. During meetings I can record while taking notes and then I can later go back to the notes and and click to hear the audio from that exact moment. I was contemplating getting a $200 lifescribe pen for this exact feature however for just under $7 a year i can have the upgraded version of this app for over 20 years for less than that pen 😀 I've not even upgraded yet but will soon as I don't like ads but I also am tired of finding an app I love only for it to go under due to what I'll assume it's lack of funding. I know I hate spending money monthly on apps so the yearly subscription model is the ideal payment situation to fund the app Development and being that users will fall in love with the app the Dec should be able to update it when the time arises, lastly I'd like to mention that I also use this app to record conversions I have with my contractors doctors and even friends and family (with out then knowing😬) as it looks like I'm just writing or typing some notes, I do this only because my memory is bad and I've found it extremely useful to have a backup recording of life in general...and this app version now give me unlimited recording where the last version only gave he me ten minutes!

Lots of good reviews but with IOS 11.1 the camera function is missing.

This is a very simple recorder that does not allow you to see or scrub audio to edit. If you want to do a self recording there is no count down or visual reference to know when recording starts. Other than hitting record and stop this is very limited. I will not buy.

Thought it was recording until I ended an important conversation and realized it didn’t store the recording. Not reliable

I use it primarily for workshops and find it helpful to have audio attached to my notes. One thing I find clunky is the way pictures behave in there, especially when inserting a lot of them.

When I take a picture while using the app, I want it to be automatically added with the time taken factored into the location within the audio note. Right now it takes too many clicks to add the picture.

Love this app so far. Everything else works good with typing, except it said it would be ads free after I sign up. Still showing ads. It cracked all my hand writing together if I took note with handwriting/drawing instead of typing. Drawing when it was misting typing was fine. Still love it.

Once I figured out the best way of recording a lecture, this was the best way taking notes. You title your lecture, and start to record at the beginning of the lecture, and once the subject changes, you just type the subject that is being covered and it creates audio clips for you. This way you don't have to listen to the whole lecture, you just click on the specific word. Great App. Definitely would recommend it for all students.

After playing with the app for a few hours with a Bluetooth laser keyboard and my iPhone ... I like the app. Now, I need to try it in the real world. Need to test how to transfer files and use it on a windows computer after I took notes on my iPhone ... time for more testing :-)

When I saw Audionote 2 in the App Store, I thought there would be improvements in the original. However, I have been very disappointed. The only thing I see are annoying ads which disrupt my focus on my work. No thanks. I deleted it.

Do not upgrade to this junk. I have the original app that works flawlessly. However when you upgrade to AudioNote 2 it brings up ads to stupid games and adds that you have to turn off. So if you need to take notes in a hurry, forget it, as you have to deal with junk adds. The original works great.

I got this app because I am pleased with 1st version. But have two problems 1) transfer of file(s) audio note, audio only or text only via wifi crashes 2) The new features are not worth an annual fee. Fixes 1) fix transfer 2) one charge for this version. You can create bigger feature sets that might be worth upgrade, but not for unspecified improvement maybe none just for annual use. 3) export the audio time stamp as part of text output or permit that copy/paste.

I do not like that you opt us to get and pay for version two and now every time I open it, there is a huge add! Terrible!

I have recommended this app so many times, I should get a commission!😁 This is the app I use for every important meeting I attend, and the option to go back and fill in from the simultaneous regarding is huge. The only option I wish could be added is recording/talking to text.

This software is the best note taking software I have found where you want to record audio and correlate that to the notes that you take. One tip that took me a while to learn was to use the gray box that slides up from the bottom when in pen mode to prevent your hand from affecting the notes that you were taking. I also like this feature because I can open a small window for taking notes and no one sitting next to me can see what I'm writing as I slide my notes up as more space is needed. I also would like to create a PDF copy of any document whether it's a PowerPoint presentation, meeting agenda, account list, etc. then I can scribble little notes next to each item as it comes up and fill in the details later after the meeting. I gave up on trying to make legible notes, they are more like a little comments for me to reference when I want to go back and review the details discussed during the meeting. I also recently purchased a "fine point active stylus" made by Trioffer which is by far the best one that I have found and makes an excellent combination with this software.

I use this app for work almost every day. It works great and makes reviewing meetings easy. The only thing I rate it down for is the difficulty (or inability?) to edit, clip, and/or delete the audio clip.

Being able to quickly pinpoint a section you want to highlight or quickly review again, is what makes this good for my use!

To trim the audio you have to really mess with the scroll bar to get the exact time you want. Also, if you record past 2 hours, you can't even see the time to adjust the audio.

This is the worst. Does not transcribe audio into words for you

I am not the most computer literate person. I love the way this app works but I would like to see a "how to" manual. It is pretty intuitive but each time I have a question, it takes more time to find the answer than I am used to with apps. I would recommend this very highly with this caveat- prepare to spend time getting to know this app. RL

One suggestion - an app that could place text notes during recording - while stopping the recording would be cool for doctors going from patient to patient for example. App doesn't seem to let you pause and create note while paused

There was nothing wrong with the first one but i still went ahead and purchased this expensive app for it to be garbage I was expecting better It still has ridiculousness ads It is very difficult to transfer from other note apps from the iphone to this app. Unlike the first one, it was very user friendly and no mater what recording app was used i was able to merge them all into the first audio notes. I am upset I spent $7 on this crap

I bought AudioNote and it works fine. I have tried the newer free version, AudioNote 2. Doesn't seem any better, but has ads. If you already bought AudioNote, don't upgrade.

$7 for an in-app pro purchase! That means I can't share it with my family. I'm using this to read what I recorded on my mac using different version of same app. There are other apps out there for better price guys.

Think I'd rather stick with the original after having been duped into upgrading, if that's what you would call it. Had I known about the ads, I would not have "upgraded." Would rather know about that BEFORE installation.

What the crap? Paid upgrade and still have to deal with advertisements! Boo! App 'support' only offers FAQ. That is no support. At first I couldn't find the hidden audio scrub tool, stumbled upon it. I really like the app...I paid for Audionote 2 and I get the ads at the top that I can not turn off and that he s annoying. If I paid for it I should not have to see ads. I prefer the original without the annoying ads.

I use this every day, but unfortunate when i tried to upgrade (audionote 1 bugged me to do “for free”) I now have an ad i have to try and hide during meetings and note taking times each day... something I don’t have time for when i need to type in the app. I’m often pressed for time during work and need to focus. I use the app for notes since the print is nice and bold ... anyway Generation one was a bit buggy but not as irritating as this (it crashed some (less recently, if ever) and sometimes is not intuitive when it switches away from typing for me but i learned the work around). THIS one has ads I can’t seem to turn off unless i pay $10 every time I turn around for the pro subscription... nope. I cant/won’t have a subscription i just want the app that works... and now that I’ve changed over it is hard to change back because i have started using this one for the notes i need.... the ads surprised me. I would have been fine with not free upfront... but I needed to know about the ads A side note to the developer. Please keep but improve “find” in the app to look for a partial word (i have to spell it out exactly including plural, if the word has that) also, it only finds one instance of the word. If i type in Bruce twice it will find the first one only Another point of feedback: I love the audio recording capability, but I daily use this app/ hardly “need” that feature. The feature i really use is the text, which is so clear and visible. Good job. I like the lined paper. Could we also have one a bit easier on the eyes, or more lined paper (just a “might as well ask”) and finally, i always had to add my own time stamps as i take a note.. i tried free pro to be sure I wasn’t being to hard on everyone.. I DO like that i can now have that feature. Thanks , and it does seem to add them during recordings or non so that is important for me.. I love that the app saves me time by adding the time of day, according to my device, for ANY new paragraph no matter if I’m recording or not. Professionals will love that. One a line below it, the current time of the recording could still display, if there is a recording. I see it is an either or right now. All in all, I might go back to the first generation for now but will be keeping an eye on this one.

I really like AudioNote! Use it in almost every meeting I attend. Problem is I have A LOT of recordings in the previous version that Audio Note 2 won’t seem to access because they are on my phone directly not iCloud or Drop box. Could I move all of my existing file to Dropbox? Yes, but I’d like not to HAVE TO. Don’t see why it can’t just offer option to access folders on my phone as well. If I am wrong about this, would love to know how I can get it to work...then would change my rating to 5.,:)

I have LOVED this app and it’s predecessor AudioNote until recently. I think an update is necessary. I can no longer trim the audio, and the air drop from iPad to my MacBook no longer works. My MacBook recognizes my iPad but my iPad won’t recognize my MacBook in this app. I use this to record lectures in grad school and take notes. It is very handy for this. Please fix audio trim and air drop functions! I will re-rate the app, if you do. Thanks.

Light weight yet powerful. Love it. The only inconvenience is that some buttons are too close to each other, I meant to choose one,but often end up touch the other. And my fingers are not very big. I am a woman. If a man, a fat guy download this app, just imagine!

Exactly what I was looking for. One suggestion: Better controls for trimming and the ability to splice in audio you can add for additional audio imported or not.

I am surprise to see that older notes have disappeared from folders. Asked for support, no response. Otherwise, works well but what is the use if you can’t review your notes because they are not there?

AudioNote is an amazing app. AudioNote 2 is not worth going to a monthly subscription fee for just the text size enhancement. My old pro version of AudioNote had a one time payment and works just fine without the annoying ads and the monthly subscription fee. Why would I want this upgrade?

Adds in apps can be alright, such as the ads in my weather app Wunderground and Storm. Now in this app, Audionote 2 wants the adds to interfere with my user experience. For what reason? To pay company seven bucks minus some pennies each and every month for what? Demand is not in control for such a price fix when Supply of many other good apps such as Audionote by Qrayon or Recorder by Denys Yevenko, or two other Recorder apps that all hands down truly out performs this app from my user experience with the other apps. I already had your lower end one number down from 2 and have not much cared for it either. I hoped that the hype about this model was true for the experience I would like to operate my audio notes-to-File. Instead, of clean white space my Markdown editors provide so concentrating on writing prioritizes over control clutter, these bad timed adds open full screen and next thing I'm looking at Safari open on my writing and thinking. Whoosh, there went a great thought for my tagline. What if it's the one that rockets my business. I'll never know now. The safari opening was wrong, so wrong that the shimmering light in the dark inspiration got so totally blown away that I'm feeling like I've forgotten the name of this ill conceived strategy of annoying adds app's name already. So pay you more for better sound quality and the fact I can't airdrop my recordings from my iPhone 6 to my new iphone unless I pay the fee, not once but each ongoing month without any stated end, ends in for eternity of as long as I would use this app-way to a hoe in my wallet. Simply, I wanted another Audionote type app such as by Qrayon similar to Audionote by Qrayon for a separate topic. This app, unfortunate, because I was not fully able to access my audio files along with bad, very bad adds completely in the way and popping full page did not allow me to even explore the app in any context outside of bad, very bad app. I am now going to take a pause to reflect on deleting the other three apps, bundle purchased, so not to be associated with such an identity branding itself left of terrible placement and timing of adds in the way of user, poor, poor user experience. If a bucket of golf balls at the range doesn't persuade me to keep the other apps, then prior to deletion, I do thank you for your time and effort developing your apps along with the hard work you placed into long hours of design to implementation and to market. I apologize that the adds were for me a tactical error of implementation. Regardless of my decision best of luck to you.

I absolutely LOVE this app! I wish I would've had this app back 20 years ago when I was in college! I liked to take notes in class while recording so that I could later go back and add to my recording and add to my written notes. Being that had to use a mini tape recorder to record the lecture, I had to spend hours fast fwd to find the part of the lecture I needed to hear. This app is a game changer for me. During meetings I can record while taking notes and then I can later go back to the notes and and click to hear the audio from that exact moment. I was contemplating getting a $200 lifescribe pen for this exact feature however for just under $7 a year i can have the upgraded version of this app for over 20 years for less than that pen 😀 I've not even upgraded yet but will soon as I don't like ads but I also am tired of finding an app I love only for it to go under due to what I'll assume it's lack of funding. I know I hate spending money monthly on apps so the yearly subscription model is the ideal payment situation to fund the app Development and being that users will fall in love with the app the Dec should be able to update it when the time arises, lastly I'd like to mention that I also use this app to record conversions I have with my contractors doctors and even friends and family (with out then knowing😬) as it looks like I'm just writing or typing some notes, I do this only because my memory is bad and I've found it extremely useful to have a backup recording of life in general...and this app version now give me unlimited recording where the last version only gave he me ten minutes!

Lots of good reviews but with IOS 11.1 the camera function is missing.

This is a very simple recorder that does not allow you to see or scrub audio to edit. If you want to do a self recording there is no count down or visual reference to know when recording starts. Other than hitting record and stop this is very limited. I will not buy.

Thought it was recording until I ended an important conversation and realized it didn’t store the recording. Not reliable

I use it primarily for workshops and find it helpful to have audio attached to my notes. One thing I find clunky is the way pictures behave in there, especially when inserting a lot of them.

When I take a picture while using the app, I want it to be automatically added with the time taken factored into the location within the audio note. Right now it takes too many clicks to add the picture.

Love this app so far. Everything else works good with typing, except it said it would be ads free after I sign up. Still showing ads. It cracked all my hand writing together if I took note with handwriting/drawing instead of typing. Drawing when it was misting typing was fine. Still love it.

Once I figured out the best way of recording a lecture, this was the best way taking notes. You title your lecture, and start to record at the beginning of the lecture, and once the subject changes, you just type the subject that is being covered and it creates audio clips for you. This way you don't have to listen to the whole lecture, you just click on the specific word. Great App. Definitely would recommend it for all students.

After playing with the app for a few hours with a Bluetooth laser keyboard and my iPhone ... I like the app. Now, I need to try it in the real world. Need to test how to transfer files and use it on a windows computer after I took notes on my iPhone ... time for more testing :-)

When I saw Audionote 2 in the App Store, I thought there would be improvements in the original. However, I have been very disappointed. The only thing I see are annoying ads which disrupt my focus on my work. No thanks. I deleted it.

Do not upgrade to this junk. I have the original app that works flawlessly. However when you upgrade to AudioNote 2 it brings up ads to stupid games and adds that you have to turn off. So if you need to take notes in a hurry, forget it, as you have to deal with junk adds. The original works great.

I got this app because I am pleased with 1st version. But have two problems 1) transfer of file(s) audio note, audio only or text only via wifi crashes 2) The new features are not worth an annual fee. Fixes 1) fix transfer 2) one charge for this version. You can create bigger feature sets that might be worth upgrade, but not for unspecified improvement maybe none just for annual use. 3) export the audio time stamp as part of text output or permit that copy/paste.

I do not like that you opt us to get and pay for version two and now every time I open it, there is a huge add! Terrible!

I have recommended this app so many times, I should get a commission!😁 This is the app I use for every important meeting I attend, and the option to go back and fill in from the simultaneous regarding is huge. The only option I wish could be added is recording/talking to text.

This software is the best note taking software I have found where you want to record audio and correlate that to the notes that you take. One tip that took me a while to learn was to use the gray box that slides up from the bottom when in pen mode to prevent your hand from affecting the notes that you were taking. I also like this feature because I can open a small window for taking notes and no one sitting next to me can see what I'm writing as I slide my notes up as more space is needed. I also would like to create a PDF copy of any document whether it's a PowerPoint presentation, meeting agenda, account list, etc. then I can scribble little notes next to each item as it comes up and fill in the details later after the meeting. I gave up on trying to make legible notes, they are more like a little comments for me to reference when I want to go back and review the details discussed during the meeting. I also recently purchased a "fine point active stylus" made by Trioffer which is by far the best one that I have found and makes an excellent combination with this software.

I use this app for work almost every day. It works great and makes reviewing meetings easy. The only thing I rate it down for is the difficulty (or inability?) to edit, clip, and/or delete the audio clip.

Being able to quickly pinpoint a section you want to highlight or quickly review again, is what makes this good for my use!

To trim the audio you have to really mess with the scroll bar to get the exact time you want. Also, if you record past 2 hours, you can't even see the time to adjust the audio.

This is the worst. Does not transcribe audio into words for you

I am not the most computer literate person. I love the way this app works but I would like to see a "how to" manual. It is pretty intuitive but each time I have a question, it takes more time to find the answer than I am used to with apps. I would recommend this very highly with this caveat- prepare to spend time getting to know this app. RL

One suggestion - an app that could place text notes during recording - while stopping the recording would be cool for doctors going from patient to patient for example. App doesn't seem to let you pause and create note while paused

There was nothing wrong with the first one but i still went ahead and purchased this expensive app for it to be garbage I was expecting better It still has ridiculousness ads It is very difficult to transfer from other note apps from the iphone to this app. Unlike the first one, it was very user friendly and no mater what recording app was used i was able to merge them all into the first audio notes. I am upset I spent $7 on this crap

I bought AudioNote and it works fine. I have tried the newer free version, AudioNote 2. Doesn't seem any better, but has ads. If you already bought AudioNote, don't upgrade.

$7 for an in-app pro purchase! That means I can't share it with my family. I'm using this to read what I recorded on my mac using different version of same app. There are other apps out there for better price guys.

Think I'd rather stick with the original after having been duped into upgrading, if that's what you would call it. Had I known about the ads, I would not have "upgraded." Would rather know about that BEFORE installation.

What the crap? Paid upgrade and still have to deal with advertisements! Boo! App 'support' only offers FAQ. That is no support. At first I couldn't find the hidden audio scrub tool, stumbled upon it. Sorry to post negative, but there seems to be no way to inquire and get help. Big frowns. I own the mac version too. Feeling ripped off.

I really like the app...I paid for Audionote 2 and I get the ads at the top that I can not turn off and that he s annoying. If I paid for it I should not have to see ads. I prefer the original without the annoying ads.
