Very Helpful with Reality Checks!
by PJVillageQueen on 2021/01/06 04:50
Good app
Very limited
by trueburger on 2020/12/11 17:39
The free version only limits you to 3 habits and after a while you can’t update those habits anymore and you HAVE to pay for the subscription. The features do not appear to be worth the money and you can get another habit tracker that is more functional and less restrictive. Too bad, I wanted to like this app.
App Won't Open
by Chdhfhrffffddhdxgdcghyjffhrvh on 2020/12/04 22:36
Keep getting this: The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.AuthenticationServices.AuthorizationError error 1001.) Oh well, time to try somethingelse.
Great app, but...
by btvsna on 2020/11/25 14:17
I’m really enjoying this app. The straight forward interface and simple design don’t distract from what is important: sticking to my habits. I do wish there was the ability for more customization in how often you do the habit. While the current options work for most of my habits, I have a few that need to be completed every other week, monthly, or sometimes quarterly. Currently I have these habits set to once a week and I just skip off weeks, but that requires I go into the habit’s calendar to see when I did it last. Which is a little annoying, as it takes away from the straight forward aspects I like about the app. It’d be so much easier if the habit just appeared in my list the day I had to do it, like my weekly habits.
Stopped at yesterday’s date. No support to help
by LadyBugPlus on 2020/11/14 19:45
I was loving this habit tracker app when yesterday Friday the 13th I noticed it would not turn over to Sat Nov 14. Tried to get chat help. I am a premium member. Not happy.
I've tried them all
by Steven St. Blaize on 2020/11/06 14:35
I've tried every habit tracking app on the app store and this is the ONLY one that is worth the money. Better yet, it's got a one time purchase option instead of a subscription. Also, they allow you to recommend and vote on upcoming features with the community. THAT is the one thing that really let me know this is the app for me. They're always trying to improve.
What happened?
by Dhshsdfdndj on 2020/11/06 09:47
Usually I’d get up to three free tasks for free, yet now it’s asking me for a subscription fee whenever I try to tick any of those 3 tasks you’d usually get to set-up for free... Don’t get me wrong the app is great for sure, but not worth all that money, and the fact that the 3 free tasks have been removed/I need to pay to tick them made the whole experience even worse...
Update crashes on Apple Watch
by divemountain on 2020/10/23 22:27
Update: 10/23/20 - updates still not working on series 5 or 6 watch Does not load
Syncing completely unreliable
by Alex 465676 on 2020/10/18 01:51
I have loved this app for so long, but I’ve been exploring alternatives because I am reliant on my Apple Watch for tracking, and syncing just doesn’t work anymore. I thought that the recent update was a big step back, but I could deal with it if the sync functionality worked. It’s unusable at this point.
This app is everything you need
by zachmorton001 on 2020/10/09 07:57
This has a ton of customization and flexibility plus great metrics with visuals that paint a clear picture.
Good Ui but lack of sync function
by Seaven7 on 2020/10/07 03:14
I satisfied with Ui and note function, so I installed all my devices: iPhone, watch and Mac. I completed a habit on iPhone, but the habit was incomplete state on Mac after a hour and more. It happens on iPhone and watch . I left some habit, but all iOS clear on watch :(and This app is expensive but sync function is needed to be improved. and I liked the previous app icon.
Not Working on Apple Watch SE
by Paprika01 on 2020/10/06 16:00
Says “no habits here, go to iphone app to create a new one.” Have no problem seeing my habits on iphone or on the website. Update: Killing the app and restarting seems to resolve the issue.
Please fix the Timer feature
by andhaus1 on 2020/10/02 19:32
Loving this app so far! Can you please fix the Timer feature? (mine doesn’t work at all)
Only daily habits allowed
by AVEVAAMERASASEAT on 2020/10/01 02:36
I’ve used (and liked) this app for a couple years, but recently they changed it, and now if I have a weekly habit, or a 3-times-a-week habit, it says my streak is zero days because I didn’t complete it the day before. It’s very frustrating. I am switching to a different app that gives me more flexibility.
Unreliable
by robstercraws5 on 2020/09/20 17:17
Habitify used to sync with Apple Watch seamlessly in the background... It doesn't do that anymore. Now the Watch and iPhone don't communicate, even if you have the latest Apple Watch series 5 with cellular. As a premium user this was a helpful, useful functionality because checking off a habit on one device showed up immediately on the other. Now the sync is gone for no apparent reason, has been for weeks, and their support can't explain it either.
Doesn't work
by CEJ47 on 2020/09/20 11:43
won't sync...lots of problems
Great App...Lousy Overcharge!
by Sketchish on 2020/09/09 18:31
After trying this app out and reading lots of reviews, I was so impressed that I decided I decided to splurge for the special offer of $39.99 listed on the purchase page. The app went into premium mode and my card was immediately charged...for $48.97! Like so many people these days, I’m on a tight budget and $39.99 for an app was a big splurge. To have the price of a tank of gas added on was not fun. I immediately contacted Habitify on yesterday’s purchase date through the app (it’s a chat setup), and followed up with another message today. I’m waiting to hear back from Habitify, and I’ll follow up as soon as I do.
Best habit tracking app
by CreatorP on 2020/09/04 20:53
Hi! This is by far the best habit tracking app IMO. I love all of the features and the flow of the app. I do have some minor requests: 1. I have been trying to make an account to access the community and I’m not receiving the validation email. 2. With timers, could you make it so when you end the habit early it doesn’t discard your entire session? Ex: I spend 45 min reading but set a timer for 60 min - I currently have to discard the 45 min and then log the time manually - makes more sense to log the 45 min or better yet - give an option to log. 3. The desktop app is a little lacking - doesn’t show miles/grams/minutes at all so if I’m tracking minutes read I have no indication of how many min I’ve read unless I check my iPhone/iPad. This isn’t that big of a deal as I rarely use the desktop app - but would be nice to have it completely synced with the iOS apps Overall wonderful app - prefer this over strides and all other habit trackers I’ve tried. Thank you Habitify.
The update made the UI clunkier
by n3rfus on 2020/09/01 17:49
I’m not sure why this app was recently updated to add extra taps in order to navigate. I used to be able to instantly tap on any other day of the week in the top bar, and to also swipe left or right to choose days even further ahead or behind. I used to be able to swipe left or right on habit’s month views and see other months. Now I have to tap a disclosure triangle to show the top bar first. And in month view, to get to another month, I have to open a menu, and choose from a list of just six months. If I want to look at a month prior to April 2020 to see my habits, guess what... I can’t. The app has been updated not only to make things take more time, but to make it literally impossible to see data I used to be able to see in a matter of seconds. Why did you guys make this change??
The latest update is a huge step back
by TML72 on 2020/08/31 02:55
I’m struggling to understand how the latest update made this app look older than the previous version. The UI looks worse, and the new features are not intuitive at all, especially for goals with weekly frequency targets. The new updates makes it difficult to see streaks for non-daily goals. Also, why in the world would you get rid of the swipe features? Why would you think it would be easier to use a drop down to access previous days or see month by month views?
This was my “go-to” habit tracking app and they have fixed the bugs!!
by bhanson32 on 2020/08/30 17:45
Fortunately, this new update is has fixed the bugs in functionality that I brought up as an issue with a previous rating & review. The timer does use the defined values you set for it and now you can only use the timer for minutes in intervals of 1. Thank you so much Habitify team for your efforts to get these issues fixed with such a quick turn around! Your work is greatly appreciated!
Terrible update
by Darkbrownifies on 2020/08/30 13:15
Used to be good, but is quite rubbish It’s quite tragic because I bought a premium account, so hopefully the new update is fixed. From a data perspective, it’s clear whoever managed the update is unaware what users want to see. It’s attempting to be minimalist to the point where the information provided is quite useless. I’m working with customer service to see if I can revert back, or if a refund can be given because this isn’t what I bought. Hopefully their customer service is better than the new update.
Update ruined app
by Books: a true story on 2020/08/29 12:31
There used to be a stat page that showed a ratio of how many habits you had finished in a day. They got rid of it. It makes the app unusable to me now because I try to hit 20 habits a day. Without that number, my goal doesn’t work. They also got rid of the yearly stats which showed progress and frequency of your habits. They got rid of that too. I paid for the lifetime subscription because the old app was exactly what I wanted. It never occurred to me that they would update it and actually remove things from the app. I wish I had got the monthly subscription so I could cancel. $40 down the drain. I’ll be looking for a new app. Based on comments on other reviews it doesn’t seem like they are going to bring back any of the features they dropped.
not properly syncing with my ipad/iphone
by Nathbj on 2020/08/24 13:05
I am testing free version, but it is not syncing Mac with ipad and iphone logging. So annoying
Even better with the latest update
by 'Ru on 2020/08/23 19:00
Original review (abridged): Habitify has a really nice design, and I love the various charts and reporting and the way that it displays that information. What I'm really hoping for before I'm going to be able to seriously use it are two things: 1) The ability to track a habit multiple times 2) Better entry for time-based habits Hopefully those features might be considered at some point! The first one is unfortunately the dealbreaker for me currently. Updated: The latest update appears to have mostly fixed my two previous concerns, so I'm hoping to make Habitify my full time habit tracker moving forward. It appears that I can still only enter time tracking in minutes (so sleep for 420 min instead of 7 hours), but the time entry itself seems more streamlined instead of being a totally separate step from checking off the habit, so definitely an improvement there. Keep up the good work!
Habitify X breaks all my habits
by magnusvk on 2020/08/20 14:45
Make sure you don’t upgrade to “Version X”—I don’t care about the new features and it *will* break a lot of your existing habits with no migration path. Very disappointing.
Habitify
by Bikespeacialist12345 on 2020/08/20 14:18
Amazing Tracker App Shoutout to the developers for this awesome app. You thinking of getting a tracker app this one just might be for you.
Great app. Sometimes doesn’t notify.
by tacomenace on 2020/08/20 00:12
I love this app. But I found that if you miss a habit one day, it stops notifying you about the habits. This in turn causes you to miss other habits since the notifications don’t work then. Other than that I love it.
Pricing is a joke
by Childish shsh on 2020/08/17 18:43
3 habits only. You can fix this with 25/y subscription. Are you joking? The app can live on the phone and there should be hardly any server costs. Oh great there’s a $40 for lifetime option? Gee thanks. The devs here are pricing on what they can get away with- rather than what it’s worth and what it takes to keep it running. That’s just greedy. Take your free trial and shove it.
Fail for didn’t meet goal
by Eleni333 on 2020/08/14 16:35
I just can’t get past the “fail“ choice. If you don’t meet a goal you have to choose “fail”. This doesn’t fit with current behavioral science for helping you achieve goals. Look up the expert B.J. Fogg. Otherwise has some useful features, though at least one chart is not intuitive to me. I feel like it could be improved chart wise.
Dashboard
by edward.qing on 2020/08/12 06:51
Better have a dashboard to show all habit progress.
Nice Design But Limited Functionality
by Mochnant on 2020/08/06 16:44
App is clean and I like the design but limiting to 3 habits per day without premium is too severe to make it useful. Will need to search elsewhere.
Great idea but not worth premium
by globbypooop on 2020/07/31 04:20
I I think it’s a great app but completely not worth the cost. There are other free apps that do the same thing. The company really should look into other services and allow people to use the free version of the app for as many goals as they want to set and that would make me more likely to purchase the premium package. But where it’s at right now they are charging to do pretty much the same thing that Apple reminders do. I do want to make it clear that I was not looking for something for nothing. I was searching for an app like this with the intent of purchasing a premium version. But I do not feel that the services that they are charging for are worth the payment they should offer free services for free such as setting the goals setting the times and setting reminders. I think that they could look into some more creative things to offer their clients that would propel them and influence them to buy the premium version. If they revamp their style and start charging for their services I would definitely consider subscribing to their service but until then I’m going to continue to getting the things that they charge for free from the apps that I currently have on my phone.
3 habits for free?
by Erictionary on 2020/07/30 22:16
uhhhhhh just use another habit tracker that will give you infinite habits.
Love it!
by Jeyester on 2020/07/30 04:31
Super easy to use and visually appealing. Makes tracking habits long term easy to visualize.
Great
by Freta11123 on 2020/07/19 03:58
But it could be better.
Good design
by Bruno Koppel on 2020/07/18 18:11
I love the design and ability to track progress and visualize it. One issue I found is that the app doesn't sync on all devices when the new day stars. I'll look at my watch and it still shows the count from yesterday, It's not until I open the app on my iphone that the watch resets.
Amazing!
by GuntzNga on 2020/07/10 02:13
Habitify is the best habit tracker I’ve ever had! It helped me stick to my goals and create new habits, such as reading. I didn’t like to read and found it boring. Now I really like it and depending on the book, hours may pass and I won’t even notice! I really like that it shows you for how many days you’ve been doing the habit - it really motivates me. Thanks.
Amazing app, all around 10/10
by @orlando.resell on 2020/07/07 09:53
Does well with exactly what it’s supposed to!
Keeps me on track
by jonathanadam on 2020/07/02 16:02
I like that I’m able to pick a habit, get a reminder, check off easily when I do it, and see my progress
Good For Building Habits Ok For Quiting Old Ones
by QI Labs on 2020/06/29 19:57
Habitify has 3 things I love: 1. It works on all Apple devices Mac iOS, and Apple Watch 2. Folders to classify habits by area i.e. body, work, relationships, etc. 3. Classify by time blocks (morning, afternoo, evening) Two things it could do better: 1. Create a substracting Feature for negative habits like eating past a certain time or using social media more than x number of times. 2. Include a Pop Up Message Option After successfully completing a habit that shows what the reward is. Example: Habit: Swim/Run AM Situation: Before Work Reward: Eat Favorite Breakfast
Exactly what I was looking for.
by wyyiy on 2020/06/20 20:23
Does one thing and does it well, just like software should. My only feature request is that you allow me to categorize habits and let me see trends on those categories alone
Great app, but one question.
by Dragon Of Lightning on 2020/06/15 23:51
I overall enjoy the app, but I just have one question: is this still available on Apple Watch?
Perfect app
by Kmiotank on 2020/06/15 20:50
This app helps me keep track of things I need to do on a regular basis. I hated making tons of calendar events and using those as a reminder. This app is great too because I can check off the things I’ve done for the day, keeping track of everything. This is exactly what I needed.
User Flexible
by Barnabas215 on 2020/06/13 17:37
This app allows me to automate how I track my my growth journey with my personal habits. I really enjoy that I can arrange what habitats workload be for different time periods of my day.
in-app purchase is not allowed
by Yolanda7zhang on 2020/06/09 17:16
I'm already a lifetime member, but every time I opened this app, it prompts me "in-app" purchase is not allowed. I disallowed in-app purchase on my phone, but it is annoy to see this prompt every time I open this app.
Simple and works
by StarEvo on 2020/06/08 18:33
Ive looked at few habit tracking apps and even tried doing my own spreadsheets for a while. This one is just simple and works well across devices iPhone, Apple watch, laptop. Go for it :)
Great stat analysis options, but limited goal-setting possibilities
by Nastya101 on 2020/06/08 11:11
+ Simple though elegant design + Many ways to analyze your progress in terms of daily, weakly completion: by habit or total progress - Really lacks differentiated goal-setting options: it either tracks a habit 1 time/day or several times/week. No options for habits that has to be tracked several times daily :( - Only uses Y/N and minutes as tracking units. Really lacks additional ones: e.g: ml of water, steps, km, Cal for different habits
Habitify App

I love this app. because it tracks my daily activities. It allows me to see the areas I need to work on.
Never using again
by anddhf35 on 2020/06/03 22:56
Doesn’t remind me on my Apple watch
I use it everyday, with only minor gripes
by Cuad Cosgrove on 2020/06/03 22:37
Habitify has become indispensable. They nail the basic function and it’s fairly straightforward to use. The watch app works better than many I’ve tried before. I wish I didn’t get notifications for things I’ve already checked off. This seems like an easy fix.
Seriously?
by wawawanakwa on 2020/05/25 19:32
The app only allows you to create three habits before prompting you to pay a monthly fee to use it. There are other similar similar UI apps that are much cheaper. Lower your price!
I really like this app !
by Iavn on 2020/05/25 17:32
I am a premium member since January experimenting within my habits. Great app! I learned two things so far: add this app to your lower footer screen to make it always available and work only on one habit at a time. Be careful of what you wish for ;) design your habits strategically !
Awesome new app logo

I’ve tried many habit tracking apps and I like this one the best. I love how easy it is to track and customize my habits. Worth the investment in the premium.
Review
by jakewiee on 2020/04/26 16:37
It’s a good App, but I need the Mac Apple sign in Feature, the reason I bought this app was that I can use it on Mac, and now I can’t sign in but I already bought the Premium Version with the sign in Apple account.
Missing Monthly tracking
by abodh on 2020/04/16 01:21
I bought the premium version of this app and in the feedback I had pointed that ability to track habits on monthly basis (an activity once every month) was missing. The CEO of this company personally wrote me an email telling me that it has been noted and they already have it in the roadmap for upcoming updates, and asked me to write a 5star review meanwhile. Well its been 6 months and nothing has come by!
Great App

Functionality and design. Best habit tracker out there.

Excellent and intuitive
by chessacr on 2020/03/13 03:23
As a “true habits” (i.e., things you can or should do, but not necessarily, as opposed to tasks or to-dos) tracker, Habitify shines. However, I’ve started using it beyond that domain, to make sure I don’t forget other important things for which a full-fledged task manager would be overkill, such as taking my medicines or taking the trash out. Highly intuitive and effective, I recommend Habitify highly. My only wish, already being a premium user, would be that they supress the annoying popups for other apps. Excellent job otherwise.

Best UI of any habit tracker
by kmj2318 on 2020/03/05 04:10
This app is so great because it knows it’s an iOS app. All the other popular habit apps do some combination of non-standard interactions. I also like how with this app, only one day is shown on a screen. I’ve seen a trend where some apps show an entire week at once, please don’t do this! I went for the one-time purchase and am very happy. My only problem is that the text is a little too low contrast, I’d prefer using the default iOS text color options. Also, I hope the icon gets redesigned, but that’s minor. Neither are enough to stop it from being 5 stars.

False advertisement- Still get ads with lifetime premium. Used to love it
by Aaron Boggs on 2020/02/20 14:18
This app helped me develop some positive habits I wanted to start but the app also has its own bad habits. I paid for a lifetime service to not have ads and nag screen however every time you open the app you get an ad for the developers other apps. That’s still ad advertisement and false advertisement on their part of the premium plan.
Great App
by Cabrs4 on 2020/02/20 01:23
My day is pretty hectic and Habitify helps me remember recurring tasks that need to be completed. Without it I would likely miss several of these tasks.
The best habit tracking app out there
by vincent.stark on 2020/02/15 00:37
I've been into habit tracking for some time and tried a bunch of different apps. This one is the best. It's simple to use, it doesn't have unnecessary bells and whistles, but it's very powerful. I also like that it has a companion OS X app. Highly recommended!

I was ready to pay $40... I figured since I have multipoemdevices of both OSs it would be worth it... Then I tried out the free limited version. It's buggy as all hell. For a subscription app, this amount of bugs is unacceptable. On top of which, they have all of these features you can't even make sure they work because the free trial is super limited. I get have limits onna trial... But your consumers aren't got to trust you if your subscription app is full of bugs and they can't make sure the paid features aren't buggy as well.
The best habit tracker

Use the app for three years. It’s getting better and better.
Good, but desperately missing numerical inputs (rather than just checks)
by podcoast on 2020/01/16 08:05
The app is easy to use, beautiful and slick. The execution of this app was better than each competitor, which is why i keep coming back to it. The reason I keep ditching it, though, is that competing apps allow you to set up habits which input a number, rather than just a check box. This simple feature is extremely versatile. With it, you can track your daily time on something, the number of X you did and much more. It would fit perfectly with all the beautiful visualizations that Habitify has. I wish Habitify would just implement this, so I could finally setting on an app that both did everything I wanted and worked smoothly.
Great app!

The only habit app that has worked for me. Simple and effective.
Promising and well designed
by pendolino on 2020/01/13 07:31
I like the app so far. Been using it for a few days and think it strikes a nice balance. Cross platform macOS and iOS support was key for me but I do not that there isn’t feature parity particularly with the grouping habits by area feature. I’ve set up work and personal areas on iOS but can’t see these on the desktop app. I also note that the last update to the iOS app was 2 months ago at the time of writing this review. That seems a bit stale for what’s supposedly a popular app so I hope the developer is making enough money to stay afloat and has the desire to push forth. I’d hate to commit to abandonware. That said I highly recommend giving it a go. Quite a nicely designed app for basic habit tracking with thoughtful features like notes, skip, etc. Also seems to have per habit xcallback support though I’ve not tried it yet.
So helpful !!

Best habit tracker and habit former app on the market
by Thegiftofgrace on 2020/01/08 14:08
I tried several habit trackers before deciding on Habitify. I wanted data, simplicity, and most of all, something that I’d stick to. Habitify is the sweet spot between having too little and too much in a habit tracker. Yeah there are others out there with more bells and whistles, but i find that too many of the add ons just rise complexity and reduce user ease, consistency, and overall habit formation. What would I change? I love the snooze function that was added, but it’s still too easy to accidentally close a notification without snoozing. I need the notification to pound on me until it’s done.
Best app ever

I recommend this app to friends and I never recommend any apps to anyone. Five out of five for me
Routines?
by MatthiasIam on 2019/12/13 20:40
Seems strange that most habit apps don’t support routines. With all the knowledge about how to make effective habits, routines or “habit stacking” should be a priority. Shortcut integration doesn’t work quite well either, never consistent and never can find the habit it’s trying to check off.
Love it
by T-Money CHIG$ on 2019/12/12 07:18
Been using it on a daily basis for a year, they regularly update and improve the app.
Good but one issue
by Diglett12 on 2019/12/10 04:52
It sometimes takes like 30 seconds to load but isn’t consistent. Sometimes it loads instantly but other times it takes 30 seconds

Easiest, simpliest and most useful habit tracker

The most no-cruft and actionable habit app I’ve seen
by deejcarey on 2019/12/05 02:54
I’ve tried loads of habit apps on multiple platforms and Habitify is the only app I’ve committed to long-term AND created meaningful habits out of! The interface is simple, it’s not bloated, and the interaction patterns are delightful. I genuinely want to get those boxes checked just to hear that delightful ‘ding’. There’s still a lot of potential for growth, but Habitify has strong foundations and, for me, works wonderfully. It’s definitely a keeper.
Next level goal tracking !

I can only speak for myself .... but ... I have tried them all..... and by Far this is the best habit app !! The more you use it, the more addicting it becomes and the more “aware” of all your day’s activities becomes ! True passion from these designers . Thank you 🙏🏾 💯
Great app

Love it. Great and easy to use
can’t add categories in desktop version.
by note shelf reviewer on 2019/11/21 03:14
It’s a good app, I just started using it daily and even paid for it but I am looking elsewhere. The menu bar mini app mobile app and desktop app all together is useful. However It’s tedious to add categories to tasks and impossible to do so in the desktop version. I should be able to add or change categories while in the task. They are just a lot of ux things that could be addressed

Well designed app. Looks great on iPhone and iPad (native). Sync is quick and reliable. Try it with 3 habits for free and only pay if you need to track more. Displays results in a monthly calendar along with several graphs and stats. Reminders work well as does the today screen widget - you can check off completed habits right there with no need to open the app. Offers a lock option which works with Touch/FaceID... Check off habits on your 🍎 Watch... oh, and DARK MODE! what's not to like?

Best App For Habit Tracking
by Laniak012375488 on 2018/10/17 16:29
I love this app. I’ve tried numerous habit tracker apps and by far this one takes the win in my opinion. It’s about forming small positive habits that won’t overwhelm you daily. Those small positive habits with improve your life drastically and your production will natural increase in life just as a byproduct alone of those habits. This app helps you stay on track daily to make sure that your turn your goals into reality by tracking your daily habits so that they become just a natural part of your routine. Even if that small habit is just simply drinking a glass of water at the moment of wake up in the morning. When you track it and get your returns and reports about your habits it makes it easy to stay in track. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to build positive daily habits. This will not help you break old bad habits because that is awhile separate topic on its own, but amazing for building new ones. Hope this review helps!
Really enjoying it so far
by caitrionalaoise on 2018/01/28 19:22
After trying a couple of habit tracker apps, I’ve landed on Habitify and it’s my favorite of the bunch. I find it to be clean, pretty intuitive, works on both iPhone and iPad (rather than the zoomed view on iPad which I don’t like), syncs nicely, and just appeals to me aesthetically more than the others I’ve tried. I don’t mind the lack of color coding, I usually find that to be kind of annoying/not useful. My only qualm at the moment is that some of my habits only need to be completed a certain number of times per week or once per week, but it only counts a day as “complete” if you do all of your tasks, including the ones that don’t need to be completed that day. I’m totally being petty but I haven’t gotten any “complete” days because of this even though I did all my -daily- tasks plus one or two weekly tasks, and dang it I want to get a complete day! :) It could be that there’s a setting I’m missing somewhere that will change that. In any case, it’s a great app, does all I need it to do in an appealing way, and will be using it for all my habit tracking needs!
Great app - not subscription based
by Pgmolina on 2019/01/05 02:39
Tried others however i was not willing to go the subscription way. I tried this and other apps and eventually came back to this one. Gladly paid the one time in app purchase. The app itself is clean and simplistic (in a good way). Great companion Apple Watch app too!! Only suggestion is to be able to go into a habit and edit it for just one day or a couple of days. For example, I have one habit to do morning back stretches after waking up in the morning and I have a Habitify reminder set at 6:45 am every weekday. I would like to change it to 7:30 am on the weekends but unless I missed something, there is no way to edit the current habit to accomplish this. It seems that you would have to creat a new habit (for weekend days only) and set the reminder for a later time.
Clean, appealing UI
by blipblorp45782929829192747 on 2018/10/17 16:22
I've been useing this app for a few years now and have loved it. It's a straightforword habbit tracker, its easy to use and has a clean UI, which has always been a big deal for me. Lots of other apps either look like they come from the early 2000's or there's too much foucus on astehtic and funcitionality falls though. With this you literaly just check off each item thoughout the day and thats that. Cusotmizaion of habbits is also really good with time, date, frequencey etc etc. You can also check your progress from a monthly overview, and there's a streek counter which is a great motivator. There's also a nightmode which I LOVE, and the customer service is great too, and the people behind this have been constatnly improveing the app over time. All around good app, would recomend.

Great but needs a few tweaks
by jombos27 on 2018/12/21 17:50
Loving this app quite a lot lately. Best I’ve found so far. However, I found it very odd though that after you hit your goal for let’s say 3 times a week, it no longer is an option to complete more... So if my goal was to practice piano 3 times a week and I wanted to mark down my 4th day, I can’t record that. So therefore I must change it to repeat for 7 days a week to even mark it as completed, but then my goal is gone. So essentially I can’t reward myself for going above and beyond. To combat this I’ve set all my goals to 7 days a week, but there is no sense of hitting a goal when that’s in place. But at least it tracks them very we in a clean UI. Looking forward to your future updates
Excellent app! But...
by psktotitiehehewh on 2018/08/20 22:04
I’d like to say that I don’t leave reviews often, but this app has been an essential part of my daily routine, and it’s definitely one of the best habit tracking apps I’ve come across. The developers are constantly making updates based on user feedback, and it’s easy to tell how much care they put into the app. The only thing that is stopping me from giving the full 5 stars, however, is the lack of a few key functions I’d like to see: a) The ability to sort habits. It’d be great to be able to categorize habits by color and keep them better organized, and I know many other habit tracking apps come with this feature. b) More options for recurring habits. At the moment, it is only possible to set habits to repeat on certain days of the week, or set them to x number of times per week. I’d appreciate the option to set habits to occur every x days, or multiple times a day, for example. I understand that the app is always being updated, so if these options are one day added, I will update my rating to 5 stars. With a bit of work, I can easily see this app become one of the best of its kind.
Good start
by Private2028 on 2018/02/26 15:16
This app is very good if one is building habits under no or little time constraints. I need to see my day at a glance but the app only shows chunks of time by morning, afternoon, evening, anytime. Also there is a limit to the number of tasks for each chunk of time EVEN WITH A PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP. Is there an option to have completed tasks fall off automatically? And future dates? How can we build habits in a vacuum? There aren’t any future dates to rearrange tasks for unforeseen events which would enable us to continue the particular habit at a different time of day. Maybe you could offer these services at another membership level with a slight increase in price. I am disappointed at being so constrained in using the app.
The best way to stay accountable to your goals
by Talicblu on 2018/10/12 19:57
I’m a huge fan of Habitify’s gorgeous interface and easy way to focus on what’s next. I love how you can separate your tasks by morning, afternoon, and evening — to keep yourself on track with your routines! You can also schedule habits to repeat only on certain days such as if you go to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and want to track that. Finally, you can review your progress with the detailed analytics! It’s important for me to be accountable and the fear of missing a day keeps me on top of my habits. Thank you for creating this awesome app 😄🤙🏻
This is the best, wish I’ve found this sooner!
by Tomz0086 on 2018/01/13 21:39
I know many people tend to exaggerate in reviews, but I promise you, I’m not. I’ve been looking for a clean, focused, non subscription model habit tracker, that has both iPad and Apple Watch apps that sync seamlessly since 2015. I’ve tried over 9 of them and this is the best one. Almost all are subscription models now, are either cluttered, have unpleasant interfaces, confusing dashboards, poor UI/UX, missing either the iPad or Apple Watch app, have syncing issues or missing simple features like being able to change the start date of your habits in case you want to start over fresh (birthday, new year etc) some don’t even have a calendar for each habit just streaks. 😪😑😓 I’m so happy I stumbled across this app in yet another one of my searches 👽 Finally the last bits of my intense work flow are coming together! 😫😄 Thank you for this app guys 🤓
Only one thing from making it perfect
by Se7enjewels on 2018/02/02 05:35
I have only one complaint, other than that I love everything about Habitify. I love the fact that you can see your all time completion rate for each task. But there is no way to see an overall completion rate for all of your tasks. However, you can see an overall rate for the last month. But sure would like to see how I have been doing all-time with all of my tasks. As of now I am having to average them altogether manually. And a bit of a hassle. Add that feature and this would be the perfect habit tracker app. I would scream it from the mountaintop!!!
From $ to $$$$$$
by jdmcmurtry on 2019/01/18 03:43
This is an okay habits app that I’ve been playing around with for a couple of weeks (free trial mode: three habits, MAX). I was considering paying the $10 one-time fee to unlock a “lifetime membership” to use the full version (FOUR OR MORE habits, yippeee!). But just now, all of a sudden, the $10 “lifetime” option has vanished and been replaced with a subscription scheme in which the same $10 would last not for a “lifetime”, but for two or three MONTHS. And then you get to pay it again, and again, and again, ad infinitum. I *might* be willing to pay a dollar a month on a continuing basis for this app, but I’m sorry, it ain’t worth sixty bucks a year. Buh-bye!
Like it
by lilgr3ta on 2018/01/02 16:44
I really like it, so far. I can edit previous days if I missed checking in, change order of habits. I love that I can change the view between all or time of day. And I love the ease of scrolling through the history and easily seeing days habit was completed or not. The only reason for one star off - I wish there was a way to change the color of tasks so that I can group them together and easily see that grouping. Seeing just blue everywhere is not as interesting and it makes would be so much easier to gauge the day seeing all health habits in red, finance habits in green, etc.

Not realizing that I had been using a guest account for over a year, when I signed in with an account to the Mac app and then to the iOS app all my habits and histories were deleted. Working through the in-app chat feature, the friendly and helpful support was able to quickly find my old guest account and then merge everything to my named account, recovering all my habits and histories. I had thought for sure everything would be gone, very thankful for the developer for the fix!
Phenomenal tool to help you be your best self
by Fatcow888 on 2018/11/20 15:16
This apps UI is awesome, and their key differentiator that made me choose them over “Productive Habit Tracker” was the one time cost of $9.99 for lifetime use. Most habit apps look to charge a monthly subscription... Habitify does not. This app contains two main ingredients that lead to personal success. Habit formation and metrics. 1) Habit formation: This app helps you form habits, small incremental life improvements geared toward your larger life goals. These habits are gamified by “streaks” or elongated periods of time in which you crush your daily habits multiple days in a row. 2) Metric: What can be measured can be improved. This app has got metrics and info galore. It helps me see if I falter, how well I’m doing and is direct correlated with the question. “Am I working towards my life goals” Lastly, I’d pair this with actually thinking about your life and the big changes that you want to make in it.
Great habit tracking app!
by Teqnilogik on 2018/07/16 14:02
This is a great app to track your habits. If you want to get on a better routine and learn some new good habits then this app is for you. I was considering another app to do this but the price was subscription based and a little steep but Habitify allows you to unlock all premium features with a 1 time in-app purchase of $10 which is more than reasonable. The only critique I could give this app so far is I wish you could setup one habit to occur during multiple times of day such as morning and evening.
Great for tracking
by lammstephanie on 2018/09/11 15:17
This app has all the features I wanted and, most importantly, is designed to be simple and intuitive. I’ve tried keeping track of habits like going to bed on time, eating three healthy meals a day, working out three times a week, etc. using other apps like Wunderlist or even a to do list, but that’s not what they are designed for. I like being able to look at my streaks and see what days are most difficult for me to complete. Highly recommend this app.
Solid, Good Support
by S. Seigel on 2018/10/09 14:33
I’ve been using Habitify for a few days now. The next morning after buying the premium package I ran into an issue. I had a response from support within minutes and a fix later that day! I wouldn’t mind different options for categorizing habits instead of morning/afternoon/evening. The best solution for me is to mark all habits as “anytime” and then ordering them the way I want. I added emojis to help visualize habits for self care, cleaning, exercise, etc. Maybe a color/tagging system or custom option in addition to times of day would be good?
Easy to Use
by wigwamgrl on 2018/02/09 11:24
I’ve used one other habit building app regularly, but I switched to this one. I love that for one price (and you can’t accidentally forget to sign in and lose your purchase) you can have it on your phone and iPad. That’s huge for me. Additionally, this app is so much for simpler to navigate. When I want to add a new habit, I type it in, and I’m good to go. I don’t have to categorize it, pick a color, and on and on. Finally, this gets 5 stars because it’s so easy to use. It has the feel of a daily checklist, almost. I don’t have habits for every single day (some are 3x week, etc.), but it helps remind me what my goals for the day are. And finally, that progress screen is so cool. While I love the idea of not breaking the chain, or whatever it is called, it is obviously not realistic unless I underset my goals. Watching the improvement is nice.
Dead Simple
by BeantownBlues on 2018/11/08 00:49
I open this app to check off my habits. It has no frills, and that makes it dead simple to use and makes me want to use it. It has some dashboard / visualization features to track your progress, but they don't get in your way if you are just opening the app to check something off. There is also an option to export your data and take it elsewhere if you want. Sync features work well across multiple macOS and iOS devices.
Nice interface, data export, and superior service.
by cxoC on 2018/01/16 02:27
Overall Habitify has been simple and powerful without getting in the way of the point - tracking habits. As a data hoarder, the ability to export data is fantastic. I had an issue with the premium purchase and service resolved it immediately. Beyond that, the app actually has a chat feature for feedback, which tells you how serious they take feedback and customer service.
Gives you super powers
by High FlyerZ on 2018/10/13 22:39
Made me realize how to achieve any skill I want in life through consist practice and creating a habit of it. It’s like a super power for any goal I have in life — I add it to my daily routine and use this app to stick to it. Those little daily habits, exercised daily grow and transform you. Whether it be improving my career or health or financial success, I figure out what I need to do daily to achieve those goals, add it to the app, stick to it and achieve. I feel like I discovered a superpower in life.
Perfect habit tracker app!
by Lostintranslatn on 2019/03/20 23:11
Love the design of this app! It has all the features I want in a habit tracker. Love that I can organize my habits by time of day and add a specific time reminder to each. The notification options are perfect—I basically need my habits to be blowing up my phone for me to get them done. I also love that there’s a desktop app that syncs perfectly! And last but not least the sound when you check something off is SO satisfying and motivating. Love it!
The best
by jordanevolves on 2017/09/26 18:24
I’ve used many habit trackers, and this one is simply the best for managing habits/tasks that you intend to do daily or on a regular, weekly basis. The updated interface in 3.0 is smooth and intuitive, and the historical and progress tracking features are super helpful for inspecting your performance. I use this app in conjunction with Things, which I use mostly for one-off/non-regular tasks. The two of them together have really helped me increase my productivity.
Clean layout, simple and effective!
by Meg4745 on 2018/01/22 01:31
I appreciate how this app lets you categorize habits/goals as morning, afternoon, or evening, and lets the user view only one category at a time if they wish. I’m trying to incorporate regular routines in my life and this helps a lot. I also love the minimal design. Other habit apps can be confusing to navigate, or cluttered with a lot of color and text. This app doesn’t get in your way - it just lets you get things done.
Nice app overall
by CDACPA on 2018/01/28 13:38
I searched far and wide for a good habit tracker that wasn’t subscription based (thanks for ruining the App Store, Apple). This app is great. I had a lot of trouble upgrading, but I’m assuming the most recent update fixed that. I would have only two requests. First, that completed habits show up in the list even if they’re done for the week. For example, I have a couple weekly items that disappear once they’ve been done. I’d like to see them there, be checked off. Secondly, I’d like to be able to make notes on a given Habit for a given day. Another minor criticism lies in the statistics. I have my week set to start on Sunday. When I look at a daily habit I have for 2017, it shows 77% completion even though I’ve only missed one day. It’s assuming I won’t complete it at all this week to arrive at that 77%, which is misleading.
Beautiful and Amazing
by jheydasch on 2018/03/24 00:25
I love the concept of these types of apps — they really resonate with someone who’s inherently driven-yet-scattered — and Habitify is one of the best. That said, one of the most convenient and fluid ways I interact with an app is through the notifications... and this app has one big flaw in that area: if you ‘complete’ a habit via the notification, it will automatically dismiss the other notifications that are sitting out there. I’d consider this a flaw for now. Other than that, Habitify is great at what it intends to do.
Favorite I’ve found so far
by Mimiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! on 2018/10/29 16:14
After trying three or four similar apps whose UX didn’t do it for me, I’ve settled on Habitify and use it daily. It’s simple and streamlined, with the perfect amount of features, and I really like that I can keep notes for myself on each habit for each day—it helps me trace my success in more detail than a simple checkmark alone would do. I’d def recommend this tracker to others.
Straight forward habit tracking
by cclairedo on 2018/01/08 05:35
I downloaded all the decent looking habit tracking apps I could find on the store and tested them out. I stuck with this one for its clean and straight forward interface and the fact that it's one time payment. One feature addition I think would be great to have is the ability to customize, with more detail, the 'Repeat' cycle for a habit. For example: once in two weeks, last day of each month, etc.
Best habit tracking app!
by Jagjit-0825 on 2018/10/12 18:23
I’ve tried and paid for many habit tracking apps and this is the one I like the most, strongly recommend. The design is clean, the reminder options are intuitive and the ability to set habits that recur only on certain days of the week is great. The macOS app is a plus as well. I rated 4/5 stars because I’d like to see a calendar view for all habits at once and a couple of other tweaks, but this app is well worth the purchase either way.
Perfect except for one missing feature...
by Sbmaniaci on 2017/10/07 02:36
The only thing this is missing from being the best habit tracker (and I’ve tried them all) is the ability to add a note to daily goals. For instance on momentum for my “excercise” goal each day I would make a note of what muscle group I did that day such as chest/tris or back/bis. Really helped me keep track of a routine. Other than that it is easy to use, looks great, available iPad version is clutch, and provides useful statistics.
This is what you're looking for!
by Cyril1901 on 2018/10/29 07:38
If you need an app that leads you to CONSISTENCY, SELF-DISCIPLINE, and PRODUCTIVITY, this app is exactly what you need! I usually don't rate apps, but this one is REALLY WORTH IT. I've tried many other productivity apps on the App Store, and Habitify is the best BY FAR. It's a great motivation to become more productive and it has tremendously shifted my life towards a more disciplined and consistent one. Try it, I'm sure you won't regret it. (Is that okay Peter?😉)
Lost it all
by Chasejltl on 2018/05/25 19:21
Bought premium and loved the program up until it trashed all data/progress. I’m the settings it asked to login so I can access info on other devices. Thought I was already able to do that, but ok I’ll login. BOOM there goes 3 months of progress tracking. Logged out and it still doesn’t have the information. Not happy.
Habit Tracker
by rodriisaiah on 2019/03/27 21:17
Habitify is one of the best habit trackers money can buy today. The reason for four stars is because the app lacks one feature I would find essential to having habits. Timers should be a feature that is introduced to help people with timed habits such as a long session of studying, reading or even exercising. I have a third-party pomodoro app to track my time but it would be more convenient to have a timer implemented in the app.
Amazing!
by GuntzNga on 2020/07/10 02:13
Habitify is the best habit tracker I’ve ever had! It helped me stick to my goals and create new habits, such as reading. I didn’t like to read and found it boring. Now I really like it and depending on the book, hours may pass and I won’t even notice! I really like that it shows you for how many days you’ve been doing the habit - it really motivates me. Thanks.

Good design
by Bruno Koppel on 2020/07/18 18:11
I love the design and ability to track progress and visualize it.
Thanks.

Simple and works
by StarEvo on 2020/06/08 18:33

Great stat analysis options, but limited goal-setting possibilities
by Nastya101 on 2020/06/08 11:11
+ Simple though elegant design + Many ways to analyze your progress in terms of daily, weakly completion: by habit or total progress - Really lacks differentiated goal-setting options: it either tracks a habit 1 time/day or several times/week. No options for habits that has to be tracked several times daily :( - Only uses Y/N and minutes as tracking units. Really lacks additional ones: e.g: ml of water, steps, km, Cal for different habits

Be careful of what you wish for ;) design your habits strategically !

by jakewiee on 2020/04/26 16:37
It’s a good App, but I need the Mac Apple sign in Feature, the reason I bought this app was that I can use it on Mac, and now I can’t sign in but I already bought the Premium Version with the sign in Apple account.

Great App

The best habit tracking app out there
by vincent.stark on 2020/02/15 00:37
I've been into habit tracking for some time and tried a bunch of different apps. This one is the best. It's simple to use, it doesn't have unnecessary bells and whistles, but it's very powerful. I also like that it has a companion OS X app. Highly recommended!

by MdotR_ on 2020/02/02 00:38
I was ready to pay $40...

Routines?
by MatthiasIam on 2019/12/13 20:40
Seems strange that most habit apps don’t support routines. With all the knowledge about how to make effective habits, routines or “habit stacking” should be a priority. Shortcut integration doesn’t work quite well either, never consistent and never can find the habit it’s trying to check off.
Love it
by T-Money CHIG$ on 2019/12/12 07:18

The most no-cruft and actionable habit app I’ve seen
by deejcarey on 2019/12/05 02:54
I’ve tried loads of habit apps on multiple platforms and Habitify is the only app I’ve committed to long-term AND created meaningful habits out of! The interface is simple, it’s not bloated, and the interaction patterns are delightful. I genuinely want to get those boxes checked just to hear that delightful ‘ding’. There’s still a lot of potential for growth, but Habitify has strong foundations and, for me, works wonderfully. It’s definitely a keeper.

can’t add categories in desktop version.
by note shelf reviewer on 2019/11/21 03:14
It’s a good app, I just started using it daily and even paid for it but I am looking elsewhere.

Good start
by Private2028 on 2018/02/26 15:16
This app is very good if one is building habits under no or little time constraints.
Solid, simple, intuitive
by Left0verture on 2019/11/18 02:58
Well designed app.
Great app, awesome support
by Chuender on 2019/05/22 02:40
Not realizing that I had been using a guest account for over a year, when I signed in with an account to the Mac app and then to the iOS app all my habits and histories were deleted.
Love it!
The best
by jordanevolves on 2017/09/26 18:24
I’ve used many habit trackers, and this one is simply the best for managing habits/tasks that you intend to do daily or on a regular, weekly basis. The updated interface in 3.0 is smooth and intuitive, and the historical and progress tracking features are super helpful for inspecting your performance. I use this app in conjunction with Things, which I use mostly for one-off/non-regular tasks. The two of them together have really helped me increase my productivity.
Amazing!
by GuntzNga on 2020/07/10 02:13
Habitify is the best habit tracker I’ve ever had! It helped me stick to my goals and create new habits, such as reading. I didn’t like to read and found it boring. Now I really like it and depending on the book, hours may pass and I won’t even notice! I really like that it shows you for how many days you’ve been doing the habit - it really motivates me. Thanks.
