Worst support ever- No longer works!!!

Now 4 weeks.... after 2 days the tech support canceled my ticket because I hadn’t been on for over a week... that is exactly the problem!!!!! They called to reopened the ticket over 3 weeks ago! And still nothing.... Now it has been 3 weeks and still not working....... 2 weeks later and still not working....... The app no longer works on my iphone... have uninstalled and reinstalled several times...just says the app is having issues try again later... have been trying for a couple of days and still nothing....

Until a few days ago, it was good to give out if you don’t want to share your real number. But now I am getting robocalls nearly every hour with no way to block them. How do you create an app with no blocking capabilities? If it is there then it’s a well kept secret. I click on the number that called and I can’t block it so...Now I deleted it. This is as bad as the Scam Block you made that lets in all sorts of scam calls unless you pay for the real block. Ugh

I joined T-Mobile first week of January, already having issues. As a business owner it is vital that I receive voicemails and missed calls at a timely manner, It seemed like Digits was a good way to go and at first it worked fine. However lately I’ve notice my calls are not being forwarded to voicemail which means I’m losing business!! I reached out to the customer service digits specialist” and there answer is to login and out of the app every once in a while. I had this Same problem about 4 years ago with this app so I switched over to Verizon Wireless. Looks like history will repeat itself inlet I can get this solved ASAP. I thought all the bugs would be fixed my no, Please Help!!!!

I’ve had digits for a few months. At first I had problems with texts and calls, but they helped me resolve them although I had to use TestFlight to get an unreleased, updated version of the app. Recently I went back to a normal release, and it mostly works. The only problem is I don’t get any texts from two-factor authentication when I try to use this number online or when someone tried to send me a gift card from Amazon. I never got it. I only get texts from people. I believe Google voice doesn’t have this problem.

I recently purchased Digits for my business. Downloaded the program onto my Mac and I can’t hear the people on the other line. Tried connecting with customer service and they said a different department handles digits. Been on hold now for 1 hour. Total waste of time.

I was excited to find out about t mobile digits as I needed a second line and did not want to purchase a second phone. However, I am growing increasingly irritated. The app is glitchy and seems to have compatibility issues with my iPhone 11. Calls are dropped, if I try to use speaker it connects and disconnects constantly, voicemail is difficult to access. Pretty disappointed

I’ve had this app for a couple weeks using with a new company that I need to have separated from a personal use line. It’s been good reception, incoming and outgoing calls are good. But received text are not that great. Today I needed a verification code from quickbooks and the code would never come through. So I had them call instead and that worked immediately. Please improve this function so that text work as seamless as they should.

I switched over to T-Mobile because I was hacked! And ever since I have switched to T-Mobile It's been a living nightmare! I can't get in touch with technical support and the customer service representatives; keep saying that I will get a call back within 24 hours I never do!! I can't receive any emails are calls are text messages! My cellular service is horrible and I get hung up on by T-Mobile agents! I have been to 6 T-Mobile offices in 3 cities to hear that I need to call customer service! This is a joke!! I have written to the home office about this matter and I never got a response!! I am missing calls and emails and text messages from my siblings and children and grandchildren! They think I am ignoring them! T-Mobile I hope y'all get y'all's act together and fire those Filipino agents that have been hanging up on me! Also I have gotten $183.00 in credits so I'm sure it is T-Mobile customer service agents helping me and then hanging up on me! Then they call me back and say nothing! I’m writing this review for the purpose of the digits app does not function as advertised. We’re not receiving calls on each line that is setup and no messages. I set this up to run my business and missing important calls and messages is critical. I hope these issues can be resolved ASAP.

Texts come hit or miss. In the same 15 minute period I can get a text from my older daughter but not get the younger daughters texts. I have been told to sign out and back in and see if that fixes the problem and if that doesn’t work to delete and reinstall the app. But how am I supposed to know I am missing texts without going to find my phone to see what is there? I can texts from the attached device and not have the reply make it to the app on either phone or just the attached device. They can be in the same room, connected to the same WiFi and still not work right. I have even tried borrowing my daughters android tablet to see if it was an issue with Apple and Android not playing nice....nope not that either. I have been a customer for almost 20 years but am about to go to another provider.

This app has been great to have on my work phone so that I didn’t have to give up or transfer my personal number. Haven’t had any issues making calls or sending texts, even MMS. As others have pointed, there are certain things missing that would make this even better. Personally, I would love it if this app could show up on the share menu for other apps so that we could quickly share photos and links. Also, links don’t seem to work, so I end up having to copy/paste the message and removing any other text from the message. For the usual calls, messages, and voicemails, this app will do just fine.

Please keep up the work here digits. The only thing keeping me from deleting my Google account is google voice. (Don’t agree with Google meyoung in the election). Hope to see the app continue to improve so that I will have a real alternative to google voice. Please consider adding unlimited voicemail storage to the app, dark mode, and allow texts from all numbers.

This app is the most disappointing app I’ve encountered. When I first got it, it basically worked though it was t smooth service. Now it constantly glitches, login almost never works and the system always seems to have something “oops!” Going wrong. I have to get rid of the second number because it’s useless because this app is useless. I had it for my business’s number for a while until I realized it was at the point where no one new could reach the business since the Digits app was so unreliable.

I need this app to work. I depend on it to avoid buying an extra phone or dropping TMobile for my entire family. I do not receive important text messages from Banks, DNS providers, and now SoCal Edison fire safety enrollment. The UI leaves room for improvement but who cares about that when texting does not work. Also there is a big lag during phone calls, even with great WiFi and internet speed.

After a long absence I tried the app again, and so far so good! Calls and texts are coming in, everything works well. The UI is a little lacking in style but who cares. A useful feature I’d suggest is the ability to set favourite numbers assigned to a specific line. Also, if possible I’d like the calls to ring on my Apple Watch too. Thank you developers for getting this thing working. 👏🏼🙌🏽

This app is the worst. Can't log in with face Id it constantly kicks you out and then it reverts back to the password. Also the ring tones are terrible. Calls don't always come in. What about a separate section for phone numbers that are not in your contacts. Have it for business, but synching my phone book will put personal contacts in it. About to delete and see what Verizon has to offer.

Worst possible number to remember AND it was not an area code used in my area. When I called and got a better number I was charged extra! They LIE and are intentionally deceptive to trick customers into using their service. BELIEVE all of the negative reviews you read! There is a reason this app only has 2 stars.

This app copies from the clipboard without authorization. Just before opening Digits. I was on the Tinder app . I had just pasted pasted something into a message on Tinder. When I open the Digits app , I received 2 messages from iOS that Digits had copied data from the clipboard. This is a privacy violation and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Two days after I was provided with a number, I got so many scam calls which I never had before on my regular phone number. My passwords were even compromised on my phone. I had to delete the app and will never used it again. Do not recommend.

The digits line is only good if you’re rarely using it. Not recommended for daily use. It glitches out all the time. Will need to port it out to another provider. Maybe google voice but they’re only slightly better.

I cannot run my business with this app. The phone doesn’t ring so I miss all my calls, the app glitches and sometimes doesn’t allow me to call out and the tech at T-Mobile told me to log off and log on once daily but ain’t nobody got time for dat. Seriously, don’t do it. I’m better off just getting a whole other phone.

My app is constantly loading...it’s loading right now. I can see where there is messages on there by seeing the number presented on the app but when I go to click on the app it just loads and never stops. I can’t even uninstall it and then install it back. Please somebody help!!!!!

It’s hard to believe that T Mobile actually released this app and it’s companion Windows 10 download for the PC. They are absolutely abysmal. Regarding the iPhone app, it won’t even ring my phone. And trying to set up a personal greeting is a nightmare of workarounds to get the proper message uploaded. Note to T Mobile management: Your Digits feature itself is clever and works fairly well. But you have to provide first class apps and software to support the feature. The B team (or more likely C team) you’ve assigned to develop your Digits software isn’t up to the job. I’m trialing Digits fir one month. But you clearly aren’t serious about your product. I’ll come back when you are.

The issue with this app is multi-fold and not worth its weight in salt because it is not device agnostic. When you log into Digits from a laptop, T-Mobile gives 2 options for the second step in the 2-step authentication: receive a code via text to the phone # being setup or answer security questions. When logging into Digits via another device, another phone, it limits the second-step authentication to just a text message. The response of Tech support as to why a user does not have the option to use security questions for all devices was, “that is not how it was coded”. Intelligent design would suggest a more seamless user experience regardless of device used. In case one’s phone is stolen, an ability to use other methods of authentication to get into or use one’s account including use of a computer is standard across various other apps in the industry including use of security questions. It’s omission suggests more of a lack of design vision than any security considerations. To overcome this design faux pas, Tech support requires creation of yet another T-Mobile account - as if the proliferation of multiple user accounts for one user can be considered in any way more secure. This could be a good app but it is rated 2 Stars or 1 Star as it has quite some way to go to be in anyway useful.

Pretty disappointed with this from TMobile. Very user unfriendly. I went to add a number, I thought I would get at least a few numbers to choose from. There was no choice of the number, and all of a sudden it just assigns me a number with out of area code. I searched through the whole app multiple times and there is nowhere to change the number they give you. There is nowhere to cancel. Phone number goes to TMobile business. Clicking on support or FAQ links just redirects to a general TMobile website and logs me out. Who is running this app? Looks like I’ll have to dispute it when I get my bill.

App won’t even launch. Immediately crashes after asking for permission to use microphone. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Restarting. Upgrading the iOS to the latest. This is horrible!! Google voice is much more stable. Come on T-Mobile make the investment into your products and it will show.

It has been blocking every number even when I turned it off. I have missed new calls from jobs. It blocks numbers now an I have uninstalled it. My mom was at the hospital and it didn’t let the hospital get through Soooo I’m stillll missing important calls but it’s uninstalled on my phone. What can I do to stop this issue.

The app will do an update and delete all of your previous messages for good. This has happened to me at least 3 times, pictures gone, messages gone, and it forces you to give them access to your contacts. You can’t do add contact unless you give access to full contact list. When you’re in a call it always seem to drop many times, problems hearing, incomplete calls going out & incoming and missed calls regularly. Longtime T-Mobile customers and didn’t want to lose old number, but paying for this app to keep it may not be worth it. Better to just get an extra phone and have two😢

calls work great, sending work great too but my only issue is receiving text all reply's goes to the main line. I didn't get my delivery because I thought someone home wasn't get my messages only to find out I wasn't getting their reply's, now I got to wait for another day. please fix this!

Pros: The concept to allow me to carry one phone instead of two for personal and work is great. Text messages work great. I was able to import my Contacts which saved a lot of time. The use is fairly simple and intuitive for handling one number, texts and voicemails. Cons: my biggest concern is that there is a delay which makes conversation sometimes difficult. It’s not as bad as I think that some have stated, but it does cause talking over clients and vice versa. Creating a contact from a call or text isn’t as easy to do as I’d hoped, but no big deal. I haven’t experienced many dropped calls, but sometimes I’ll get a missed call and vm without having heard a ring. Overall - not a bad alternative to carrying multiple phones, but I hope that the delay can be reduced or eliminated to give this a higher rating. I might try Google Phone to see if it is any better but I think VoIP is always going to have a delay.

Like others have said, this app is unreliable. I’ve had people sitting next to me call me, and the phone won’t ring. I’ve called people and had the calls dropped mid sentence. Terrible for business. Most of the time people can’t even hear me. I keep having to apologize. Sometimes my calls won’t even get through. I’ve had people say I called you, but you didn’t answer. Yet my phone never rang, and I never got a missed call. I’ve tried calling T-mobile. They did their best to fix it but the problem persists. Reading the bad reviews, I can see this is a widespread problem that T-mobile has yet to address.

Sign out and back in did not resolve, but uninstall and reinstall app did work this time. If issue resurfaces I will send you logs as requested.

I have been using the app for about a year now. It is not reliable for incoming calls or texts. Some texts don’t come through no matter what. Confirmation texts from banking institutions never come through. It often shows i have a missed call and a message when it never rang in the first place. Often it shows nothing until i open the app and let it sit for a couple minutes. I wish it would work because I don’t want to carry two phones. It has proven to be unreliable at best.

This app is super glitchy. Calls don’t come through or they come up days later. Just as well the call quality is terrible. I have great service and wireless internet at home but I would never choose to use this app to make calls. Texting feature is great but it’s the only great thing about it. You could just as easily use a free number text service instead of paying monthly on your t-mobile bill for a digits line. Wish t-mobile cared enough to fix this app!

All other voice apps (Skype, Teams, WhatsApp, etc) all integrate into iOS using CallKit. Can you please do the same? I hate taking calls from a proprietary app experience, not having missed calls show up on the built-in Phone app.

Do not waste your time on this app. It has given me nothing but trouble. I have tried working with T-Mobile support for six months to fix the problems discussed below with never a satisfactory result. The phone will not ring when a call comes in, when I dial a number I frequently cannot hear the voice of the person on the other side, and phone calls were frequently dropped, so the DIGITS app was essentially worthless. I eventually had to call T Mobile and work out a different plan for two lines.

All calls come through as scam likely and will ring once and I can’t answer the call. 98% of my calls go straight to voicemail without my phone being on DND. I set up my voicemail but it isn’t playing my message. I am missing business opportunities because of this app. This line is my business line but it is now a problem costing me money and I’m paying for an extra line. This needs to be fixed immediately!

In 2020, the Do Not Disturb function is pretty integral to most lifestyles and important for avoiding embarrassment in high pressure situations. Setting Do Not Disturb on your phone does not keep calls coming from T-Mobile digits. There is no shortcut for it. There is no scheduling it. It is function that you must open the app, go to settings and switch on and off every time you need your phone to not ring out loud.

I like the app, but there’s a lot of work needed. I never get consistent notifications. I can’t change the notification sound for messaging. It seems to be non responsive sometimes. There are times where I may have a message and I wouldn’t know unless I either check or sometimes I even have to go the extra mile and refresh to even see a message. Please continue to improve this app.

This app is trash. All of the negative reviews on here are true and the developers still haven’t fixed it. I bought a line to use as a business number. If you miss a call, this app won’t tell you. If you look at the missed call list, it’s just empty even though There are several missed calls. I don’t understand why they can’t fix it. I will be canceling my digits serving and putting the money somewhere else.

At first, I thought this app was great. I was able to manage my business line and messages with ease. About 2 to 3 weeks in, my personal calls are now going to the business line voicemail. There is no option to decline calls. You have to keep hitting the side iPhone button to make it stop ringing. When you think you have ended the call, it begins ringing again and it’s hard to yell if the call ever really goes to voicemail. It’s very strange. There is no way to save a number to your contacts without choosing to send a text message and save the contact information from that screen. Even then, the contact information does not always save. The biggest problem is my personal calls being sent to the other voicemail. That won’t do and I’ll need to uninstall.

They need to put the do not disturb option back and if someone from my phone plan that I have in digits app, if I call them, it should NOT call me back on the other line Can’t hear calls more then half the time when I answer in the app or dial from the app it’s a hit & miss Since the new update, every time I call my children (whose numbers are on my acct) I can an “anonymous” call back EVERY TIME it rings two sec and it doesn’t let u answers

As a teacher working from home, I was very excited to use the Digits platform as a means for parent contact. Unfortunately, I’ll have to switch to Google because Digits is not reliable. When calling, I often don’t hear the ring and the communication is in and out the entire call. Not to mention the call drops as well. Very disappointed in this service.

Worst app I’ve ever downloaded. I chose this app and carrier because I was told I could have one phone with 2 numbers..... IT NEVER WORKED. I.spoke to an expert on every level and no one has an answer. I feel like I was lied to, my clients have no way to contact me, my number goes straight to VM (that I can’t access) and text messages aren’t received. I feel like I never should’ve switched my service.

I am using free number from T-mobile new promo and the weird thing is there is no option to block annoying calls. Need to fix this ASAP.

T-Mobile is great. But this service is trash. Can’t even make one simple call. Why do you guys even put this up, can’t be reliably used. You’re giving your t-mobile brand a very bad image. I recommend shutting this down, invest some money / development, then relaunch. Google voice is a much better choice, and it’s free.

This app has worked for a very short period of time. Now I could only see a few outdated messages and can no longer receive new text message. The rest of the functions (dial pad, voice mail etc) are all disappeared. I uninstalled and installed but the problem persist.

Really disappointed in this app. I use this app and alternative number for business. Sometimes I can here when people call and sometimes I can’t. When I make outbound calls, I can’t hear the other person and also it just hangs up as if the call dropped. The apps shuts down all the time. Writing this review I need to cancel but they don’t have a way to save your messages so if you run a business and all your information is in your text or call log, you will lose all your history of texts and calls. There’s no way to recover them. This really hurt my business a month ago. Trying to figure out how to save my messages from now on.

App is horrible. I switched from two phones, one work and one personal to a combined with Digits. I’ve given it almost a year and there are no improvements. I don’t get all my calls, sometimes it’ll ring once and the call is dropped. When I answer calls it says connected, I can’t hear anything but the caller hears me. Text messages come in late/no notification. I have to manually go into the app to refresh my messages/calls/voicemail to see if I have anything new. It’s just a poor app. The text messaging doesn’t have any features like GIFS or add on widgets. And the camera/photo upload is glitchy and not user friendly. When you try to clear all calls/messages/voicemails, it’ll look deleted, but when you close the app and reopen it’s still there. There is no customized features for a ring tone for calls/texts/voicemail. I like the concept, but it’s unreliable. As a medical professional it’s really frustrating because I need my Digits number available at all times because I’m on call 24/7. This app needs improvements. Heck I’m already contemplating switching back to two phones. I’ve read reviews to switch to Google Voice, but the down fall is that my work number is my Digits number.

I am using this line for my business there for I need consistency. I continue to call the T-mobile about the problem however they are not helpful. My issues: App continues to shut down on me every time I attempt to call or text. I tried logging out and logging back in. I tried removing the app and reinstalling it. Nothing works. @Tmobile - why would you continue to launch such a problematic app? Look at the reviews. FIX IT or REMOVE IT.

Some days it functions as expected and some days it is completely ineffective. Problems I have encountered over my 6 months use: Texts notifications pop up, but the message doesn’t. Texts are failing to send. Calls go to voicemail immediately and you only get the notification of the voicemail, not the call. Contacts that are in my phone don’t connect to the Digits app or not recognized. The main solution I got was to delete the app and reinstall it. I have to do this at least 4 times in 6 months and every time it wiped out my text and call history. After speaking to an expert at T-mobile I got the recommendation to either get an additional phone with the line on or buy a dual-sim phone.

This app crashes all the time, sometimes finds keywords in messages when searching, calls don’t work all the time when you call unless you’re getting called. On top of that you simply can’t send images but you can receive them. This app stresses me out. I want to switch to Verizon after this experience.

My team gave this a try and we have wasted many days and weeks of work hours trying to fix the probs. We have had to move staff to Google Voice as we can’t have unreliable cell service as we deal with crisis calls with children. We tried setting up virtual Digits lines for 4 staff and only 1 was successful, and that 1 took many days of effort. Even though they never used their work email for T-Mobile, when trying to set up new accounts to get the lines to work, it kept saying there’s already an existing account with that email. 2 of us who switched from regular phones to Digits so we could use 1 phone for personal and work calls experienced dropped calls, calling but unable to hear others or callers not able to hear us, calling but no ring, nothing. I can’t keep giving it a chance and waste valuable work time trying to help fix the kinks. T-Mobile Facebook messaging and in-store could not figure out the problems. I spent weeks and months waiting for the issues to be escalated only to be told once I canceled the lines, they couldn’t investigate. But my staff need a working phone immediately so I can’t wait for weeks while they try to figure it out. Even the store rep said to just use Google Voice if we are experiencing so many probs. Very disappointed.

App is flawed, slow, burns battery like a boom box, and is costing me money as I use my digits # for work and I am missing calls, bad communication on calls that come through. And if my service is limited because of where I am it dumps all calls and says number is not receiving calls at this time. I hope the developers of this app read this and please contact me if I can help troubleshoot. Needs better cellular data conversions rather than WiFi, packeted , data.

I need this app to work. I depend on it to avoid buying an extra phone or dropping TMobile for my entire family. I do not receive important text messages from Banks, DNS providers, and now SoCal Edison fire safety enrollment. The UI leaves room for improvement but who cares about that when texting does not work. Also there is a big lag during phone calls, even with great WiFi and internet speed.

This app has been great to have on my work phone so that I didn’t have to give up or transfer my personal number. Haven’t had any issues making calls or sending texts, even MMS. As others have pointed, there are certain things missing that would make this even better. Personally, I would love it if this app could show up on the share menu for other apps so that we could quickly share photos and links. Also, links don’t seem to work, so I end up having to copy/paste the message and removing any other text from the message. For the usual calls, messages, and voicemails, this app will do just fine.

I joined T-Mobile first week of January, already having issues. As a business owner it is vital that I receive voicemails and missed calls at a timely manner, It seemed like Digits was a good way to go and at first it worked fine. However lately I’ve notice my calls are not being forwarded to voicemail which means I’m losing business!! I reached out to the customer service digits specialist” and there answer is to login and out of the app every once in a while. I had this Same problem about 4 years ago with this app so I switched over to Verizon Wireless. Looks like history will repeat itself inlet I can get this solved ASAP. I thought all the bugs would be fixed my no, Please Help!!!!

Hope to see the app continue to improve so that I will have a real alternative to google voice. This app is the most disappointing app I’ve encountered. When I first got it, it basically worked though it was t smooth service. Now it constantly glitches, login almost never works and the system always seems to have something “oops!” Going wrong. I have to get rid of the second number because it’s useless because this app is useless. I had it for my business’s number for a while until I realized it was at the point where no one new could reach the business since the Digits app was so unreliable.

I was excited to find out about t mobile digits as I needed a second line and did not want to purchase a second phone. However, I am growing increasingly irritated. The app is glitchy and seems to have compatibility issues with my iPhone 11. Calls are dropped, if I try to use speaker it connects and disconnects constantly, voicemail is difficult to access. Until a few days ago, it was good to give out if you don’t want to share your real number. But now I am getting robocalls nearly every hour with no way to block them. How do you create an app with no blocking capabilities? If it is there then it’s a well kept secret. I click on the number that called and I can’t block it so...Now I deleted it. This is as bad as the Scam Block you made that lets in all sorts of scam calls unless you pay for the real block. Ugh

After a long absence I tried the app again, and so far so good! Calls and texts are coming in, everything works well. The UI is a little lacking in style but who cares. A useful feature I’d suggest is the ability to set favourite numbers assigned to a specific line. Also, if possible I’d like the calls to ring on my Apple Watch too. Thank you developers for getting this thing working. 👏🏼🙌🏽

Now 4 weeks.... after 2 days the tech support canceled my ticket because I hadn’t been on for over a week... that is exactly the problem!!!!! They called to reopened the ticket over 3 weeks ago! And still nothing.... Now it has been 3 weeks and still not working....... 2 weeks later and still not working....... The app no longer works on my iphone... have uninstalled and reinstalled several times...just says the app is having issues try again later... have been trying for a couple of days and still nothing....

Ok, I don’t normally give poor feedback, but I’m hoping my feedback makes this app better. The concept is brilliant and necessary for people like me that want the comfort of a business line and a personal line on the same phone. With that said, the app just doesn’t do basic things. I am not an app developer by any stretch, but you gotta go back to basics. Get general. A line within a phone is being done by many different companies, but come on, it’s T-mobile, you guys have figured out some pretty basic needs of the consumer across the company, I would really love to see it applied here. KISS, keep it simple SERIOUSLY! Something as simple as clicking on a text and having it show as read is not happening. Sent a text last night and nobody got it. Had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to actually work. I click on the line and I get a weird message that says client is setting it up. I don’t even know what that means. These are basic things that I can in other apps (not separate phone line apps, but other apps in general that have a chat feature). I am anxiously looking forward to when I can come back and update my review and my rating.

I have finally merged two phones into one. My work and my personal phones are both being handled from my AT&T work iPhone now. I can call and text on my personal number through the app or call and text from my work number through the phone. Here are are the issues I'm noticing on my iPhone ... notification sounds always work but most of the time makes two notification sounds which leads me to think I received two messages. Also, can you add Digits sounds into iPhone settings so we can change the notification sound for digits? The banner notification is turned on as well but it only works about 1 in 5 messages. Same goes for badge icon counter on the app (home screen on phone). So unless I open the app and look into messages I don't always know I received any (unless I hear it of course). Last thing is when I have it set to use data and minutes I can't tell which line is being called (the call screen is the same). If I have it set to data only then the call screen is different and I know it's my personal line being called. As soon as these bugs get worked out I will definitely make this 5 stars. Again, no more carrying two phones !!

Hey, thanks for this great app but I wanted to share with you a minor issue I’ve been having with it. From time to time the app freezes and I either cannot send or receive calls or I cannot send or receive messages. What is freakishly strange about these incidents it’s usually after a major storm in my area that these issues occur. Yeah, I know—what does weather have to do with an app?! But that’s when I notice it. Coincidentally an update to my iPhone has normally occurred before or after the storm. The latest incident two weeks ago we had a major storm come through our area (in Texas). I checked the app, wasn’t responding. Un-installed and re-installed the app and the issue was not resolved. 5/10 or 5/11 there was an IOS update. Digits still wasn’t working. Called Customer Care and nothing was wrong as far as they could see. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it’s working fine. Just wanted to share my experience. Love the app and highly recommend it for ANY educators!

Updated review: the latest version crashes on open! Can't make calls or send/receive texts with my digits number! I have no choice but to port out my number immediately to a more reliable VoIP service. Sad this didn't work out. Considering its a brand new service, the digits app works pretty well. A few bugs during account setup but T-Mobile advanced tech support was able to help. I love the service in general and it's nice that I don't need to get a second number from some unreliable voip-only app like sideline or pinger. Calls ring through over cellular and YES they DO show which digits number the person is calling through, as long as you set a name (i.e. work, freelance, dating, eBay, or whatever else you may use it for) inside the digits app. Several reviewers have complained about this feature but T-Mobile support told me how to set it and now on the incoming call screen I can see Joe Doe "calling via Freelance Digits Line" so I know it's a client calling me.

I absolutely love this app, the concept is brilliant in my opinion and an extraordinary idea that just affirms me that T-Mobile was the right network for me. HOWEVER, I really wish that the developers would go back into the app and correct the glitches and issues with the app. The issue that I have with it is that 75% of the time when I attempt to make a phone call, I am unable to place the call, and the green call button is shaded so that I cannot select it. I know that I have a strong wireless Internet connection when doing so, so it's frustrating that it doesn't work most of the time. Inevitably, I end up having to uninstall and then reinstall, which is frustrating and extremely inconvenient for obvious reasons. If the developers were able to fix the bugs in this app, I would rate it five stars in a heartbeat because it is an extremely innovative idea for any wireless provider to come out with, and comes in handy immensely! Unfortunately, it's more work than what it's worth more often than not in its functionality, as of right now anyway.

I’ve had Digits since December of 2017. Since day 1, it’s been one problem after another. You’d think that after 1+ years, they’d improve the app and the purpose of its use. I use this for work and 3/4 of the time, it stalls, freezes, suddenly quits, “line not active” pops up, or when I log out and back in, it shows all my read messages as unread so I end up having 90+ unread messages that I now have to go back and “read”. The voicemail feature is also whack; can’t delete voicemails after reviewing... some days it work and some days it doesn’t. I’ve even had ALL of my texts deleted and vanished therefore having to start all over. I’ve called at least 1-2 times a week since having Digits and it’s always been the same “oh, we are so sorry for your frustration with this, we are working hard to improve the app”. So many problems, that I’ve eventually stopped calling it in. Of course, now I can’t delete it because all of my staff have my # and I don’t want to get a new #/phone. Digits is useless. If you don’t have it yet, please save yourself some sanity and DO NOT DOWNLOAD DIGITS.

Great concept! I was so excited to begin using it ..... until I actually did. Riddled with glitches as if their dev team did not take the time to do the most rudimentary R&D to make sure things are functional. It gives no indication if an incoming call is coming to the number I have setup in my digits app versus my normal cell number. In my case that’s a nightmare as my digits line is our business phone which of course I answer differently than my personal cell. Connections are spotty and often when I try to answer an incoming call it simply disconnects before the person comes on the line. When sending messages/texts from within digits app from our business line which is under our BUSINESS NAME the texts go through to the receiver under our first and last name instead of the business name. I’ve been told by support they fixed this but it’s still happening. The app for the desktop (Mac) is even worse. So much potential here. I hope T-Mobile will devote the appropriate level of attention to getting this app functional so we can enjoy it instead of it being a constant source of frustration throughout the day. It truly is very very Beta right now.

WHY DID I TRUST T-MOBILE?! when I asked them why the reviews were so awful they responded with “oh it’s a low rating because the app is new and not many people have reviewed it yet!” So I SPECIFICALLY ASKED “honestly, are there a lot of issues with digits, because if there are, I’d rather just get a separate business phone.” Lol. They told me the app is “GREAT! No common issues!” Well great. I JUST STARTED A SMALL BUSINESS. MY DIGITS NUMBER IS ON MY VEHICLE/WEBSITE/BUSINESS CARDS and come to find out, people have been trying to inquire my services but are complaining that I don’t respond! SOMETIMES I get an alert about a missed call or message, but when I go to retrieve it, everything is deleted. I even texted with a lady and scheduled her first appointment but when I went in to open the message so I could write her name/number/address down in my appointment book, IT VANISHED. now a new client will think I just didn’t show up because I have no way to find out who she is or how to contact her now. This is a new business I’m starting. I’ve lost atleast 10 opportunities in the past week and I’m devastated now. I have never wanted to throw my phone so bad

My previous reviews contained detailed information about the various ways this app failed to perform for me. Those reviews disappeared along with my call history and text messages. After using the DIGITS service for several months, and working with tech support multiple times, a rep just informed me that they don’t keep text messages and voice mails on the service—as if I should have known that all along. Nice. I have worked with T-mobile with the logging out issues this app has. For some reason, this is a security feature for WiFi networks. They tweaked things on their side to get the service operational for me, which I greatly appreciated, but I was logged out again this week. When I logged back in, my history, voice mails, and texts were gone—even on the website. In addition, people still complain that they can’t reach me, which defeats the purpose of paying for a second phone line. This service simply isn’t for me. Too unreliable. It’s a shame. I wanted it to work out, but I’d be better off with a cheap second phone just for business calls. At least then my texts and voice mails won’t be deleted.

Update: I have been up to date and that seems to be the issue. It seems every update something gets better, then something else breaks. Since the last update now I lose connection and it says something about being Forbidden. The beta version seemed to run better. Now I have to restart the app every 10-20 minutes. It's a great concept so far, but it's falling short of some very minor expectations. I'm not saying anyone's work is bad, so please don't think that. I'm ready for this thing to rock the socks off of the competition. Since the last couple of updates the app has been crashing, slow to respond or update with new texts.. I haven't been able to use the call function because of poor quality (WIFI or DATA), and my texts seem to fail constantly. Uninstall Reinstall made no change. This is my personal line not business oriented but it's nice not having to carry around two phones. Please either revert back or fix the stability T-Mobile.

As of February of 2019 this app is not worth it if you want to consistently receive calls and text messages. I thought I’d be able to manage a rental business without carrying a second phone, but after two months of headaches and hours with T Mobile techs, I’m going back to a separate phone. You constantly need to delete the app and reinstall, shut down the phone and turn back on. Sometimes text messages are there and other times they are not. I recently couldn’t delete voicemails that I listened to and had to reinstall the app. When I did, I lost all the contacts in my favorites list. I was able to delete the old voicemails, it not any new ones I received. After not being able to receive the last two phone calls, I’m done!” The people at T Mobile are nice enough, but none of them seem to know about the terrible reviews that this app gets. They’ll tell you how wonderful it is and when you have problems they’ll sincerely try to help you, but it will be impossible until they find someone else to redesign this mess of an app.

Having a synchronized platform to manage my carrier texts, at the very least, across all platforms would be enough for me to be completely content regardless of the other features it contains. Unfortunately this app will not satisfy that desire. I only occasionally receive text notifications on my other devices, and trying to send a text using Digits will ensure your recipient thinks you’re blatantly ignoring them as the message will never send. I’m alerted to phone calls, but trying to answer them from Digits also ensures that the caller won’t hear you from any device, including your primary line. I have frantically tried to yell ‘hello’ into all of the devices in my vicinity unsure of where Digits is actually routing the call through amidst the madness of ringing from every connected Digits device. I remember it used to work so that if I answered a call from my iPad, I would have audio through my iPad. Same for other devices. Now, it doesn’t seem to supply audio anywhere. Or really do much of anything. In short, I’d stay away from this app. It’s nothing but a nuisance.

I just signed up and have an iPhone 7. I have notifications turned on but I still get nothing on my screen that I have a text message through DIGITS. What I do get is an audio sound but it several sounds in a row kind of similar to something that is skipping. So having the notification of a text message on your screen would definitely help I'm not sure why T-Mobile can't figure this out. Nor do I get an indication on the app icon. I'm forced to open the app and look to see if I have a text message. I've been a digital phone user for about two years now with other applications and was hoping that T-Mobile would be a step above. I would like it to work very similar to iMessage and be able to send other types of emoji's or bitmojis but it does not allow that. Keep trying T-Mobile UPDATE!!!! The Off shore CSR canceled my digits number and replaced it with a new number!!! These people cannot understand ENGLISH!!! I use that number for business. These people are crazy! You need US based customer service! I'm switching back to AT&T! T-Mobile is a Cracker Jack company!

Pros: The concept to allow me to carry one phone instead of two for personal and work is great. Text messages work great. I was able to import my Contacts which saved a lot of time. The use is fairly simple and intuitive for handling one number, texts and voicemails. Cons: my biggest concern is that there is a delay which makes conversation sometimes difficult. It’s not as bad as I think that some have stated, but it does cause talking over clients and vice versa. Creating a contact from a call or text isn’t as easy to do as I’d hoped, but no big deal. I haven’t experienced many dropped calls, but sometimes I’ll get a missed call and vm without having heard a ring. Overall - not a bad alternative to carrying multiple phones, but I hope that the delay can be reduced or eliminated to give this a higher rating. I might try Google Phone to see if it is any better but I think VoIP is always going to have a delay.

I've had digits for two weeks now, well more like 10 days, this app constantly sends a notification to my phone that there was a disturbance with my truck, disturbance that the recording is me getting in my vehicle and shutting the door. It's absolutely ridiculous. I think the app has some bugs that need to be worked out because this is crazy. There is no reason why I should be getting disturbance notifications sent to my phone when I'm just getting out of my vehicle. At creators I think you did a bang up job developing the app and it's pretty good at least you know where you're going where you start from where you end up, however The app keeps I miss firing messages and that really needs to be fixed because it is quite annoying. I will be on installing this app because I think it is just too much effort for somebody who is extremely easy-going and likes things simple this is it simple it's complicated.

I can’t say that the app hasn’t improved, that would be lie. I have poor Call quality over data but I’m sure that’s mostly an issue with my network on my personal phone. I would like to not always have to carry two phones which was the point of me getting this app, but it’s not as reliable as I would like it to be. I use voice over data because with usage of cell service my work callers get my personal voicemail and I work in the medical field. I don’t need my patients accessing my personal line and I don’t want to change my personal voicemail greeting to reflect any clinic reference because I want to keep the lines separate. But what would be greatly appreciated other than reliability is a refreshed UI and more ringtone options. This UI is hideous and the font is rather small. Let’s get some customizing options, eh?

Guys I really need this app to ring and inform me that I have messages. I’m using it for business and it is imperative. Please get more people on this and hone it in. I don’t want to buy a second phone just for business. Response to developer: No, it isn’t a notification SOUND problem. Your app just plain does NOT INFORM PEOPLE that there is voicemail at all. Period. It shows NOTHING. I had to go into a T-Mobile store and buy a flip phone and move that number to a SIM card because this app is so unbelievably awful. AWFUL. I am going to suggest T-Mobile stop SELLING it. Just stop. Until you guys have done a LOT more work to this technology. It’s a great concept but right now it’s just embarrassing business owners left and right. Response to developer 2: Okay let me walk you through this step by step. Digits line will ring when call comes in. AUDIBLY. Call will not show what line it is calling for, so the call goes to voicemail. Voicemail is left by caller. No indication of caller’s voicemail ever comes through. Ever. You will not know there is anything in your voicemail box unless you call it from the phone and check it over the phone. No indicators. Sometimes I also get text messages the following day or week from when they were sent. Do you understand now why going to my settings and choosing sounds being on has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ISSUE I AM HAVING? I’m just saying.

My team gave this a try and we have wasted many days and weeks of work hours trying to fix the probs. We have had to move staff to Google Voice as we can’t have unreliable cell service as we deal with crisis calls with children. We tried setting up virtual Digits lines for 4 staff and only 1 was successful, and that 1 took many days of effort. Even though they never used their work email for T-Mobile, when trying to set up new accounts to get the lines to work, it kept saying there’s already an existing account with that email. 2 of us who switched from regular phones to Digits so we could use 1 phone for personal and work calls experienced dropped calls, calling but unable to hear others or callers not able to hear us, calling but no ring, nothing. I can’t keep giving it a chance and waste valuable work time trying to help fix the kinks. T-Mobile Facebook messaging and in-store could not figure out the problems. I spent weeks and months waiting for the issues to be escalated only to be told once I canceled the lines, they couldn’t investigate. But my staff need a working phone immediately so I can’t wait for weeks while they try to figure it out. Even the store rep said to just use Google Voice if we are experiencing so many probs. Very disappointed.

Way to many bugs with this app. I often have to go to the mytmobile web page to turn it back on. It turns its self off all the time with out me knowing. There is no way to tell or notification unless you check if it’s still active. Who knows how many calls or texts I miss or how long it’s actually been off. Then when the app updates I have to redo everything. I lost all my texts and messages twice and can’t recover them. They are suppose to be saved for use on any device I open them on but they just disappeared one day. They use to save. Now the app won’t open. It starts to load or opens for 3 seconds then closes and my phone goes back to home screen. Have t been able to use the app for days since the update and this is t the first time it’s happened. I pay extra for this and I dot want to cancel cuz I do t want to lose the number I feel stuck. I dont even use this number for work because it’s way to unreliable and makes me look bad.
Recent Update Killed the App

After the recent update of the app to version 1.0.5, the app isn't working as expected. Previously, the app was working with no issues. Now, I'm constantly being promoted that the app is no longer active. Yet, the app is open and has stopped receiving calls. Hope this will be fixed sooner than later. Digits is the new innovative platform for using multiple phone numbers on one device or one phone number on multiple devices. This is definitely on the next level. Just when you think that T-Mobile has outdone themselves, they release something else. Upon being approved for the beta and getting an additional phone number to use on my device, I was able to sign in and use the app. I'm using Digits on an iPhone 7 Plus. The app has allowed me to make and receive calls, as well as send and receive messages. So far so good...

This is a critical app and a major reason I chose and stay with T-mobile. I understand from one of the T-Mobile Engineers that there is finally a thought to invest real resources in making this a great app which is really promising. I am glad to hear that because I was worried they would abandon it which would cause myself and many others to leave T-Mobile. Having said all that the iOS app continues to be plagued with problems especially on the text messaging side. For a time I could not input the phone numbers to send a text message ... the app would just crash. Responding to texts worked fine. That problem was apparently fixed with an update. Everything seemed to be working ok, but after some recent update I can no longer send text messages to any international numbers ....it just returns a “failed” result. Domestic works fine and I can receive all texts, and I can receive all texts from anywhere ... but not reply internationally! This seems specific to the iOS app as it works fine from my desktop Digits app. I suspect this issue will get fixed ... but have no idea when the next app update will roll out. Frustrating. Hopefully T-Mobile will get this Digits App which I view as a vital offering, sorted. Hope to update the review then. This should be a 5star app.

I use this app for answering business calls on my personal phone. It worked very well initially. But recently in one of their updates it started dropping the calls about 15-30 seconds into every single call. Very embarrassing when dealing with costumers. I can’t speak on behalf of texting as we do it very minimally not problems there though. Checking voicemails also works as it should. But the main function of it being used to answer calls on another phone is a failure and we do not use it anymore. We use the data mode so that we can differentiate and set a different ringtone on our personal phones because you can’t do that being set on the regular phone setting. Hopefully the fix that soon so we can keep utilizing the app to be able to answer the phone on our personal phones. Great idea of an app though, all in all.!
Consistent resets, lost messages, dropped calls

I had and old phone, so was waiting to review because I was told part of the issue MAY be compatibility/phone age, but got a new iPhone 90 days ago and nothing has changed. This app, although an incredible concept, is poorly put together at best. Over 80% of the voice calls experience a 2-3 second delay, causing both parties to talk over each other constantly during conversations. The app fails (stops receiving messages altogether) at least once every 60 days needing a full uninstall and reinstall. When the reinstall happens, your last 100+ messages show as unread and need to be re-read, AND at least 10% of the message histories are lost completely. This app was one of the reasons I switched to T-Mobile (so I wouldn’t need a business AND personal phone, but it’s a TERRIBLE option for anyone with a business (unless you don’t care about professionalism or reliability).

I gave this app about a week to try to merge my calls/texts from my Note 8 to my iPhone X. I’m a realtor and I wanted to consolidate my devices so that I didn’t have to carry around two devices all of the time, and stay in the Apple Ecosystem. But in this short period of time I’ve used the app, I’ve already missed multiple calls and texts from clients on the app that I should’ve received, but on my Note 8 they were there if I happened to leave that device at home. Same goes for voicemails. It defeats the purpose of what I’m trying to accomplish. Nope, I can’t use this for my business like I intended. I LOVE T-Mobile, especially how they’ve treated me as business account, but this app isn’t properly developed. I’ll be forced to upgrade to one of the new XS devices to use the dual SIM feature for this to work like I want, but I don’t feel I should have to do that considering that I should be able to do the same thing from this app, but can’t...

I’m glad they have an app that can send messages and calls across all devices but that happiness quickly dissipates when I actually need to use the app. It regularly signs me out for no reason whatsoever. 95% of the time when I go to type a message it says that my line is “offline” without giving any explanation as to why it is saying offline(not an internet issue). So I have to wait until It inexplicably changes and I can suddenly send messages again. It won’t forward messages and the share function doesn’t work when you try to share something from a different app. When I go to access the app or try to switch between it and another app it will completely freeze my iPad, at least 50% of the time. I really don’t even know why I still have this app installed, It does nothing but frustrate me. It does say a lot about the quality of work and standards that TMobile has for them to leave this like that for so long.

UPDATE: Do not get this app and service. Its been too long now and it still deactivates itself at random and I'm missing business calls as a result. I know I'm missing them because I have ads tied to this number track logging attempted calls and customers asking if I got their messages. I've already started a number port to the Vonage version of this, which based on reviews appears more reliable. I'll be demanding a refund for the two service months I had with T-Mobile too. This app screams of class-action. Don't use it. ---- The app unregisters the phone line twice a week and I don't know about it until I go to use it, which means I could have missed business calls. I get a message that the device is offline and I go to put it back online and have to go through the whole registration process again - each 3-4 days this happens. This app is NOT ready for release. App makers need to stop using their real users as pre-beta testers.

I’ve had the digits line since August 2018, to use as my new business line in addition to my personal line. Digits has been a nightmare since day one. I had read all the bad reviews but there were some decent reviews too, so I decided to give it a try. Literally, one problem after another. I got to know the supervisor of one of the teams in Texas really well because we spoke by phone so often. Finally, the last straw was speaking with technical support yesterday to get help signing back into my digits line, and being told that in order to maintain security I should close the app and re-sign in once per week. This is ridiculous! I always have problems signing in (their tech issues, not mine), and I need a telephone line that is reliable and works, and doesn’t need to be coddled on a daily basis. Even my original voicemail message has disappeared. Please listen to all the bad reviews. This app does not work!

I use this for my business and it’s always one problem or another. Here’s my list of issues the this app. 1. Calls not coming in. I have my iPhone synced with my iPad so I could hear if any calls come in, so if I don’t hear my phone I’ll hear the iPad. Well my iPad rings and shows an incoming digits call coming in but not my phone, unfortunately the phone number doesn’t show and I can’t return the calls. It will not show any missed calls on my phone. 2. Sometimes when a call does get thru, as soon as you answer, it drops the call. 3. Don’t always get text messages. Updating the app, deleting it and putting it back on or turning your phone off then back on does not work. 4. Out of the blue text messages may appear days later. 5. Voicemail may also appear later. 6. I’ve had the app actually turn off my digit number. Get your act together T-Mobile, there has been more than enough time to fix these known issues. If you can’t maybe give it to a high school for a class project, I’m sure they’ll get it done. Yes I have spoken to your tech support many times and they are very well aware of them. Being in business customers don’t want to know or care that I have issues with my carrier, they just want to reach me and if they can’t I lose business and money. Enough of the excuses and fix the app!!!

Now 4 weeks.... after 2 days the tech support canceled my ticket because I hadn’t been on for over a week... that is exactly the problem!!!!! They called to reopened the ticket over 3 weeks ago! And still nothing.... Now it has been 3 weeks and still not working....... 2 weeks later and still not working....... Until a few days ago, it was good to give out if you don’t want to share your real number. But now I am getting robocalls nearly every hour with no way to block them. How do you create an app with no blocking capabilities? If it is there then it’s a well kept secret. I click on the number that called and I can’t block it so...Now I deleted it. This is as bad as the Scam Block you made that lets in all sorts of scam calls unless you pay for the real block. Ugh

I joined T-Mobile first week of January, already having issues. As a business owner it is vital that I receive voicemails and missed calls at a timely manner, It seemed like Digits was a good way to go and at first it worked fine. However lately I’ve notice my calls are not being forwarded to voicemail which means I’m losing business!! I reached out to the customer service digits specialist” and there answer is to login and out of the app every once in a while. I had this Same problem about 4 years ago with this app so I switched over to Verizon Wireless. Looks like history will repeat itself inlet I can get this solved ASAP. I thought all the bugs would be fixed my no, Please Help!!!!

I’ve had digits for a few months. At first I had problems with texts and calls, but they helped me resolve them although I had to use TestFlight to get an unreleased, updated version of the app. Recently I went back to a normal release, and it mostly works. The only problem is I don’t get any texts from two-factor authentication when I try to use this number online or when someone tried to send me a gift card from Amazon. I never got it. I only get texts from people. I believe Google voice doesn’t have this problem.

I was excited to find out about t mobile digits as I needed a second line and did not want to purchase a second phone. However, I am growing increasingly irritated. The app is glitchy and seems to have compatibility issues with my iPhone 11. Calls are dropped, if I try to use speaker it connects and disconnects constantly, voicemail is difficult to access. Pretty disappointed

I’ve had this app for a couple weeks using with a new company that I need to have separated from a personal use line. It’s been good reception, incoming and outgoing calls are good. But received text are not that great. Today I needed a verification code from quickbooks and the code would never come through. So I had them call instead and that worked immediately. Please improve this function so that text work as seamless as they should.

I switched over to T-Mobile because I was hacked! And ever since I have switched to T-Mobile It's been a living nightmare! I can't get in touch with technical support and the customer service representatives; keep saying that I will get a call back within 24 hours I never do!! I can't receive any emails are calls are text messages! My cellular service is horrible and I get hung up on by T-Mobile agents! I have been to 6 T-Mobile offices in 3 cities to hear that I need to call customer service! This is a joke!! I have written to the home office about this matter and I never got a response!! I am missing calls and emails and text messages from my siblings and children and grandchildren! They think I am ignoring them! T-Mobile I hope y'all get y'all's act together and fire those Filipino agents that have been hanging up on me! Also I have gotten $183.00 in credits so I'm sure it is T-Mobile customer service agents helping me and then hanging up on me! Then they call me back and say nothing! Texts come hit or miss. In the same 15 minute period I can get a text from my older daughter but not get the younger daughters texts. I have been told to sign out and back in and see if that fixes the problem and if that doesn’t work to delete and reinstall the app. But how am I supposed to know I am missing texts without going to find my phone to see what is there? I can texts from the attached device and not have the reply make it to the app on either phone or just the attached device. They can be in the same room, connected to the same WiFi and still not work right. I have even tried borrowing my daughters android tablet to see if it was an issue with Apple and Android not playing nice....nope not that either. I have been a customer for almost 20 years but am about to go to another provider.

This app has been great to have on my work phone so that I didn’t have to give up or transfer my personal number. Haven’t had any issues making calls or sending texts, even MMS. As others have pointed, there are certain things missing that would make this even better. Personally, I would love it if this app could show up on the share menu for other apps so that we could quickly share photos and links. Also, links don’t seem to work, so I end up having to copy/paste the message and removing any other text from the message. For the usual calls, messages, and voicemails, this app will do just fine.

Hope to see the app continue to improve so that I will have a real alternative to google voice. This app is the most disappointing app I’ve encountered. When I first got it, it basically worked though it was t smooth service. Now it constantly glitches, login almost never works and the system always seems to have something “oops!” Going wrong. I have to get rid of the second number because it’s useless because this app is useless. I had it for my business’s number for a while until I realized it was at the point where no one new could reach the business since the Digits app was so unreliable.

I need this app to work. I depend on it to avoid buying an extra phone or dropping TMobile for my entire family. I do not receive important text messages from Banks, DNS providers, and now SoCal Edison fire safety enrollment. The UI leaves room for improvement but who cares about that when texting does not work. Also there is a big lag during phone calls, even with great WiFi and internet speed.

After a long absence I tried the app again, and so far so good! Calls and texts are coming in, everything works well. The UI is a little lacking in style but who cares. A useful feature I’d suggest is the ability to set favourite numbers assigned to a specific line. Also, if possible I’d like the calls to ring on my Apple Watch too. Thank you developers for getting this thing working. 👏🏼🙌🏽

This app is the worst. Can't log in with face Id it constantly kicks you out and then it reverts back to the password. Also the ring tones are terrible. Calls don't always come in. What about a separate section for phone numbers that are not in your contacts. Have it for business, but synching my phone book will put personal contacts in it. About to delete and see what Verizon has to offer.

This app copies from the clipboard without authorization. Just before opening Digits. I was on the Tinder app . I had just pasted pasted something into a message on Tinder. When I open the Digits app , I received 2 messages from iOS that Digits had copied data from the clipboard. This is a privacy violation and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Two days after I was provided with a number, I got so many scam calls which I never had before on my regular phone number. My passwords were even compromised on my phone. I had to delete the app and will never used it again. Do not recommend.

The digits line is only good if you’re rarely using it. Not recommended for daily use. It glitches out all the time. Will need to port it out to another provider. Maybe google voice but they’re only slightly better.

I cannot run my business with this app. The phone doesn’t ring so I miss all my calls, the app glitches and sometimes doesn’t allow me to call out and the tech at T-Mobile told me to log off and log on once daily but ain’t nobody got time for dat. Seriously, don’t do it. I’m better off just getting a whole other phone.

My app is constantly loading...it’s loading right now. I can see where there is messages on there by seeing the number presented on the app but when I go to click on the app it just loads and never stops. I can’t even uninstall it and then install it back. Please somebody help!!!!!

It’s hard to believe that T Mobile actually released this app and it’s companion Windows 10 download for the PC. They are absolutely abysmal. Regarding the iPhone app, it won’t even ring my phone. And trying to set up a personal greeting is a nightmare of workarounds to get the proper message uploaded. Note to T Mobile management: Your Digits feature itself is clever and works fairly well. But you have to provide first class apps and software to support the feature. The B team (or more likely C team) you’ve assigned to develop your Digits software isn’t up to the job. I’m trialing Digits fir one month. But you clearly aren’t serious about your product. I’ll come back when you are.

The issue with this app is multi-fold and not worth its weight in salt because it is not device agnostic. When you log into Digits from a laptop, T-Mobile gives 2 options for the second step in the 2-step authentication: receive a code via text to the phone # being setup or answer security questions. When logging into Digits via another device, another phone, it limits the second-step authentication to just a text message. The response of Tech support as to why a user does not have the option to use security questions for all devices was, “that is not how it was coded”. Intelligent design would suggest a more seamless user experience regardless of device used. In case one’s phone is stolen, an ability to use other methods of authentication to get into or use one’s account including use of a computer is standard across various other apps in the industry including use of security questions. It’s omission suggests more of a lack of design vision than any security considerations. To overcome this design faux pas, Tech support requires creation of yet another T-Mobile account - as if the proliferation of multiple user accounts for one user can be considered in any way more secure. This could be a good app but it is rated 2 Stars or 1 Star as it has quite some way to go to be in anyway useful.

Pretty disappointed with this from TMobile. Very user unfriendly. I went to add a number, I thought I would get at least a few numbers to choose from. There was no choice of the number, and all of a sudden it just assigns me a number with out of area code. I searched through the whole app multiple times and there is nowhere to change the number they give you. There is nowhere to cancel. Phone number goes to TMobile business. Clicking on support or FAQ links just redirects to a general TMobile website and logs me out. Who is running this app? Looks like I’ll have to dispute it when I get my bill.

App won’t even launch. Immediately crashes after asking for permission to use microphone. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Restarting. Upgrading the iOS to the latest. This is horrible!! Google voice is much more stable. Come on T-Mobile make the investment into your products and it will show.

It has been blocking every number even when I turned it off. I have missed new calls from jobs. It blocks numbers now an I have uninstalled it. My mom was at the hospital and it didn’t let the hospital get through Soooo I’m stillll missing important calls but it’s uninstalled on my phone. What can I do to stop this issue.

The app will do an update and delete all of your previous messages for good. This has happened to me at least 3 times, pictures gone, messages gone, and it forces you to give them access to your contacts. You can’t do add contact unless you give access to full contact list. When you’re in a call it always seem to drop many times, problems hearing, incomplete calls going out & incoming and missed calls regularly. Longtime T-Mobile customers and didn’t want to lose old number, but paying for this app to keep it may not be worth it. Better to just get an extra phone and have two😢

calls work great, sending work great too but my only issue is receiving text all reply's goes to the main line. I didn't get my delivery because I thought someone home wasn't get my messages only to find out I wasn't getting their reply's, now I got to wait for another day. please fix this!

Pros: The concept to allow me to carry one phone instead of two for personal and work is great. Text messages work great. I was able to import my Contacts which saved a lot of time. The use is fairly simple and intuitive for handling one number, texts and voicemails. Cons: my biggest concern is that there is a delay which makes conversation sometimes difficult. It’s not as bad as I think that some have stated, but it does cause talking over clients and vice versa. Creating a contact from a call or text isn’t as easy to do as I’d hoped, but no big deal. I haven’t experienced many dropped calls, but sometimes I’ll get a missed call and vm without having heard a ring. Overall - not a bad alternative to carrying multiple phones, but I hope that the delay can be reduced or eliminated to give this a higher rating. I might try Google Phone to see if it is any better but I think VoIP is always going to have a delay.

Like others have said, this app is unreliable. I’ve had people sitting next to me call me, and the phone won’t ring. I’ve called people and had the calls dropped mid sentence. Terrible for business. Most of the time people can’t even hear me. I keep having to apologize. Sometimes my calls won’t even get through. I’ve had people say I called you, but you didn’t answer. Yet my phone never rang, and I never got a missed call. I’ve tried calling T-mobile. They did their best to fix it but the problem persists. Reading the bad reviews, I can see this is a widespread problem that T-mobile has yet to address.

I have been using the app for about a year now. It is not reliable for incoming calls or texts. Some texts don’t come through no matter what. Confirmation texts from banking institutions never come through. It often shows i have a missed call and a message when it never rang in the first place. Often it shows nothing until i open the app and let it sit for a couple minutes. I wish it would work because I don’t want to carry two phones. It has proven to be unreliable at best.

This app is super glitchy. Calls don’t come through or they come up days later. Just as well the call quality is terrible. I have great service and wireless internet at home but I would never choose to use this app to make calls. Texting feature is great but it’s the only great thing about it. You could just as easily use a free number text service instead of paying monthly on your t-mobile bill for a digits line. Wish t-mobile cared enough to fix this app!

All other voice apps (Skype, Teams, WhatsApp, etc) all integrate into iOS using CallKit. Can you please do the same? I hate taking calls from a proprietary app experience, not having missed calls show up on the built-in Phone app.

Do not waste your time on this app. It has given me nothing but trouble. I have tried working with T-Mobile support for six months to fix the problems discussed below with never a satisfactory result. The phone will not ring when a call comes in, when I dial a number I frequently cannot hear the voice of the person on the other side, and phone calls were frequently dropped, so the DIGITS app was essentially worthless. I eventually had to call T Mobile and work out a different plan for two lines.

All calls come through as scam likely and will ring once and I can’t answer the call. 98% of my calls go straight to voicemail without my phone being on DND. I set up my voicemail but it isn’t playing my message. I am missing business opportunities because of this app. This line is my business line but it is now a problem costing me money and I’m paying for an extra line. This needs to be fixed immediately!

In 2020, the Do Not Disturb function is pretty integral to most lifestyles and important for avoiding embarrassment in high pressure situations. Setting Do Not Disturb on your phone does not keep calls coming from T-Mobile digits. There is no shortcut for it. There is no scheduling it. It is function that you must open the app, go to settings and switch on and off every time you need your phone to not ring out loud.

I like the app, but there’s a lot of work needed. I never get consistent notifications. I can’t change the notification sound for messaging. It seems to be non responsive sometimes. There are times where I may have a message and I wouldn’t know unless I either check or sometimes I even have to go the extra mile and refresh to even see a message. Please continue to improve this app.

This app is trash. All of the negative reviews on here are true and the developers still haven’t fixed it. I bought a line to use as a business number. If you miss a call, this app won’t tell you. If you look at the missed call list, it’s just empty even though There are several missed calls. I don’t understand why they can’t fix it. I will be canceling my digits serving and putting the money somewhere else.

At first, I thought this app was great. I was able to manage my business line and messages with ease. About 2 to 3 weeks in, my personal calls are now going to the business line voicemail. There is no option to decline calls. You have to keep hitting the side iPhone button to make it stop ringing. When you think you have ended the call, it begins ringing again and it’s hard to yell if the call ever really goes to voicemail. It’s very strange. There is no way to save a number to your contacts without choosing to send a text message and save the contact information from that screen. Even then, the contact information does not always save. The biggest problem is my personal calls being sent to the other voicemail. That won’t do and I’ll need to uninstall.

As a teacher working from home, I was very excited to use the Digits platform as a means for parent contact. Unfortunately, I’ll have to switch to Google because Digits is not reliable. When calling, I often don’t hear the ring and the communication is in and out the entire call. Not to mention the call drops as well. Very disappointed in this service.

Worst app I’ve ever downloaded. I chose this app and carrier because I was told I could have one phone with 2 numbers..... IT NEVER WORKED. I.spoke to an expert on every level and no one has an answer. I feel like I was lied to, my clients have no way to contact me, my number goes straight to VM (that I can’t access) and text messages aren’t received. I feel like I never should’ve switched my service.

T-Mobile is great. But this service is trash. Can’t even make one simple call. Why do you guys even put this up, can’t be reliably used. You’re giving your t-mobile brand a very bad image. I recommend shutting this down, invest some money / development, then relaunch. Google voice is a much better choice, and it’s free.

This app has worked for a very short period of time. Now I could only see a few outdated messages and can no longer receive new text message. The rest of the functions (dial pad, voice mail etc) are all disappeared. I uninstalled and installed but the problem persist.

Really disappointed in this app. I use this app and alternative number for business. Sometimes I can here when people call and sometimes I can’t. When I make outbound calls, I can’t hear the other person and also it just hangs up as if the call dropped. The apps shuts down all the time. Writing this review I need to cancel but they don’t have a way to save your messages so if you run a business and all your information is in your text or call log, you will lose all your history of texts and calls. There’s no way to recover them. This really hurt my business a month ago. Trying to figure out how to save my messages from now on.

App is horrible. I switched from two phones, one work and one personal to a combined with Digits. I’ve given it almost a year and there are no improvements. I don’t get all my calls, sometimes it’ll ring once and the call is dropped. When I answer calls it says connected, I can’t hear anything but the caller hears me. Text messages come in late/no notification. I have to manually go into the app to refresh my messages/calls/voicemail to see if I have anything new. It’s just a poor app. The text messaging doesn’t have any features like GIFS or add on widgets. And the camera/photo upload is glitchy and not user friendly. When you try to clear all calls/messages/voicemails, it’ll look deleted, but when you close the app and reopen it’s still there. There is no customized features for a ring tone for calls/texts/voicemail. I like the concept, but it’s unreliable. As a medical professional it’s really frustrating because I need my Digits number available at all times because I’m on call 24/7. This app needs improvements. Heck I’m already contemplating switching back to two phones. I’ve read reviews to switch to Google Voice, but the down fall is that my work number is my Digits number.

I am using this line for my business there for I need consistency. I continue to call the T-mobile about the problem however they are not helpful. My issues: App continues to shut down on me every time I attempt to call or text. I tried logging out and logging back in. I tried removing the app and reinstalling it. Nothing works. @Tmobile - why would you continue to launch such a problematic app? Look at the reviews. FIX IT or REMOVE IT.

Some days it functions as expected and some days it is completely ineffective. Problems I have encountered over my 6 months use: Texts notifications pop up, but the message doesn’t. Texts are failing to send. Calls go to voicemail immediately and you only get the notification of the voicemail, not the call. Contacts that are in my phone don’t connect to the Digits app or not recognized. The main solution I got was to delete the app and reinstall it. I have to do this at least 4 times in 6 months and every time it wiped out my text and call history. After speaking to an expert at T-mobile I got the recommendation to either get an additional phone with the line on or buy a dual-sim phone.

This app crashes all the time, sometimes finds keywords in messages when searching, calls don’t work all the time when you call unless you’re getting called. On top of that you simply can’t send images but you can receive them. This app stresses me out. I want to switch to Verizon after this experience.

My team gave this a try and we have wasted many days and weeks of work hours trying to fix the probs. We have had to move staff to Google Voice as we can’t have unreliable cell service as we deal with crisis calls with children. We tried setting up virtual Digits lines for 4 staff and only 1 was successful, and that 1 took many days of effort. Even though they never used their work email for T-Mobile, when trying to set up new accounts to get the lines to work, it kept saying there’s already an existing account with that email. 2 of us who switched from regular phones to Digits so we could use 1 phone for personal and work calls experienced dropped calls, calling but unable to hear others or callers not able to hear us, calling but no ring, nothing. I can’t keep giving it a chance and waste valuable work time trying to help fix the kinks. T-Mobile Facebook messaging and in-store could not figure out the problems. I spent weeks and months waiting for the issues to be escalated only to be told once I canceled the lines, they couldn’t investigate. But my staff need a working phone immediately so I can’t wait for weeks while they try to figure it out. Even the store rep said to just use Google Voice if we are experiencing so many probs. Very disappointed.

App is flawed, slow, burns battery like a boom box, and is costing me money as I use my digits # for work and I am missing calls, bad communication on calls that come through. And if my service is limited because of where I am it dumps all calls and says number is not receiving calls at this time. I hope the developers of this app read this and please contact me if I can help troubleshoot. Needs better cellular data conversions rather than WiFi, packeted , data.

I need this app to work. I depend on it to avoid buying an extra phone or dropping TMobile for my entire family. I do not receive important text messages from Banks, DNS providers, and now SoCal Edison fire safety enrollment. The UI leaves room for improvement but who cares about that when texting does not work. Also there is a big lag during phone calls, even with great WiFi and internet speed.

This app has been great to have on my work phone so that I didn’t have to give up or transfer my personal number. Haven’t had any issues making calls or sending texts, even MMS. As others have pointed, there are certain things missing that would make this even better. Personally, I would love it if this app could show up on the share menu for other apps so that we could quickly share photos and links. Also, links don’t seem to work, so I end up having to copy/paste the message and removing any other text from the message. For the usual calls, messages, and voicemails, this app will do just fine.

I joined T-Mobile first week of January, already having issues. As a business owner it is vital that I receive voicemails and missed calls at a timely manner, It seemed like Digits was a good way to go and at first it worked fine. However lately I’ve notice my calls are not being forwarded to voicemail which means I’m losing business!! I reached out to the customer service digits specialist” and there answer is to login and out of the app every once in a while. I had this Same problem about 4 years ago with this app so I switched over to Verizon Wireless. Looks like history will repeat itself inlet I can get this solved ASAP. I thought all the bugs would be fixed my no, Please Help!!!!

Please keep up the work here digits. The only thing keeping me from deleting my Google account is google voice. (Don’t agree with Google meyoung in the election). Hope to see the app continue to improve so that I will have a real alternative to google voice. Please consider adding unlimited voicemail storage to the app, dark mode, and allow texts from all numbers.

This app is the most disappointing app I’ve encountered. When I first got it, it basically worked though it was t smooth service. Now it constantly glitches, login almost never works and the system always seems to have something “oops!” Going wrong. I have to get rid of the second number because it’s useless because this app is useless. I had it for my business’s number for a while until I realized it was at the point where no one new could reach the business since the Digits app was so unreliable.

I was excited to find out about t mobile digits as I needed a second line and did not want to purchase a second phone. However, I am growing increasingly irritated. The app is glitchy and seems to have compatibility issues with my iPhone 11. Calls are dropped, if I try to use speaker it connects and disconnects constantly, voicemail is difficult to access. Pretty disappointed

Until a few days ago, it was good to give out if you don’t want to share your real number. But now I am getting robocalls nearly every hour with no way to block them. How do you create an app with no blocking capabilities? If it is there then it’s a well kept secret. I click on the number that called and I can’t block it so...Now I deleted it. This is as bad as the Scam Block you made that lets in all sorts of scam calls unless you pay for the real block. Ugh

After a long absence I tried the app again, and so far so good! Calls and texts are coming in, everything works well. The UI is a little lacking in style but who cares. A useful feature I’d suggest is the ability to set favourite numbers assigned to a specific line. Also, if possible I’d like the calls to ring on my Apple Watch too. Thank you developers for getting this thing working. 👏🏼🙌🏽

Now 4 weeks.... after 2 days the tech support canceled my ticket because I hadn’t been on for over a week... that is exactly the problem!!!!! They called to reopened the ticket over 3 weeks ago! And still nothing.... Now it has been 3 weeks and still not working....... 2 weeks later and still not working....... The app no longer works on my iphone... have uninstalled and reinstalled several times...just says the app is having issues try again later... have been trying for a couple of days and still nothing....

I recently purchased Digits for my business. Downloaded the program onto my Mac and I can’t hear the people on the other line. Tried connecting with customer service and they said a different department handles digits. Been on hold now for 1 hour. Total waste of time.

Ok, I don’t normally give poor feedback, but I’m hoping my feedback makes this app better. The concept is brilliant and necessary for people like me that want the comfort of a business line and a personal line on the same phone. With that said, the app just doesn’t do basic things. I am not an app developer by any stretch, but you gotta go back to basics. Get general. A line within a phone is being done by many different companies, but come on, it’s T-mobile, you guys have figured out some pretty basic needs of the consumer across the company, I would really love to see it applied here. KISS, keep it simple SERIOUSLY! Something as simple as clicking on a text and having it show as read is not happening. Sent a text last night and nobody got it. Had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to actually work. I click on the line and I get a weird message that says client is setting it up. I don’t even know what that means. These are basic things that I can in other apps (not separate phone line apps, but other apps in general that have a chat feature). I am anxiously looking forward to when I can come back and update my review and my rating.

I have finally merged two phones into one. My work and my personal phones are both being handled from my AT&T work iPhone now. I can call and text on my personal number through the app or call and text from my work number through the phone. Here are are the issues I'm noticing on my iPhone ... notification sounds always work but most of the time makes two notification sounds which leads me to think I received two messages. Also, can you add Digits sounds into iPhone settings so we can change the notification sound for digits? The banner notification is turned on as well but it only works about 1 in 5 messages. Same goes for badge icon counter on the app (home screen on phone). So unless I open the app and look into messages I don't always know I received any (unless I hear it of course). Last thing is when I have it set to use data and minutes I can't tell which line is being called (the call screen is the same). If I have it set to data only then the call screen is different and I know it's my personal line being called. As soon as these bugs get worked out I will definitely make this 5 stars. Again, no more carrying two phones !!

Hey, thanks for this great app but I wanted to share with you a minor issue I’ve been having with it. From time to time the app freezes and I either cannot send or receive calls or I cannot send or receive messages. What is freakishly strange about these incidents it’s usually after a major storm in my area that these issues occur. Yeah, I know—what does weather have to do with an app?! But that’s when I notice it. Coincidentally an update to my iPhone has normally occurred before or after the storm. The latest incident two weeks ago we had a major storm come through our area (in Texas). I checked the app, wasn’t responding. Un-installed and re-installed the app and the issue was not resolved. 5/10 or 5/11 there was an IOS update. Digits still wasn’t working. Called Customer Care and nothing was wrong as far as they could see. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it’s working fine. Just wanted to share my experience. Love the app and highly recommend it for ANY educators!

Updated review: the latest version crashes on open! Can't make calls or send/receive texts with my digits number! I have no choice but to port out my number immediately to a more reliable VoIP service. Sad this didn't work out. Considering its a brand new service, the digits app works pretty well. A few bugs during account setup but T-Mobile advanced tech support was able to help. I love the service in general and it's nice that I don't need to get a second number from some unreliable voip-only app like sideline or pinger. Calls ring through over cellular and YES they DO show which digits number the person is calling through, as long as you set a name (i.e. work, freelance, dating, eBay, or whatever else you may use it for) inside the digits app. Several reviewers have complained about this feature but T-Mobile support told me how to set it and now on the incoming call screen I can see Joe Doe "calling via Freelance Digits Line" so I know it's a client calling me.

I absolutely love this app, the concept is brilliant in my opinion and an extraordinary idea that just affirms me that T-Mobile was the right network for me. HOWEVER, I really wish that the developers would go back into the app and correct the glitches and issues with the app. The issue that I have with it is that 75% of the time when I attempt to make a phone call, I am unable to place the call, and the green call button is shaded so that I cannot select it. I know that I have a strong wireless Internet connection when doing so, so it's frustrating that it doesn't work most of the time. Inevitably, I end up having to uninstall and then reinstall, which is frustrating and extremely inconvenient for obvious reasons. If the developers were able to fix the bugs in this app, I would rate it five stars in a heartbeat because it is an extremely innovative idea for any wireless provider to come out with, and comes in handy immensely! Unfortunately, it's more work than what it's worth more often than not in its functionality, as of right now anyway.

I’ve had Digits since December of 2017. Since day 1, it’s been one problem after another. You’d think that after 1+ years, they’d improve the app and the purpose of its use. I use this for work and 3/4 of the time, it stalls, freezes, suddenly quits, “line not active” pops up, or when I log out and back in, it shows all my read messages as unread so I end up having 90+ unread messages that I now have to go back and “read”. The voicemail feature is also whack; can’t delete voicemails after reviewing... some days it work and some days it doesn’t. I’ve even had ALL of my texts deleted and vanished therefore having to start all over. I’ve called at least 1-2 times a week since having Digits and it’s always been the same “oh, we are so sorry for your frustration with this, we are working hard to improve the app”. So many problems, that I’ve eventually stopped calling it in. Of course, now I can’t delete it because all of my staff have my # and I don’t want to get a new #/phone. Digits is useless. If you don’t have it yet, please save yourself some sanity and DO NOT DOWNLOAD DIGITS.

Great concept! I was so excited to begin using it ..... until I actually did. Riddled with glitches as if their dev team did not take the time to do the most rudimentary R&D to make sure things are functional. It gives no indication if an incoming call is coming to the number I have setup in my digits app versus my normal cell number. In my case that’s a nightmare as my digits line is our business phone which of course I answer differently than my personal cell. Connections are spotty and often when I try to answer an incoming call it simply disconnects before the person comes on the line. When sending messages/texts from within digits app from our business line which is under our BUSINESS NAME the texts go through to the receiver under our first and last name instead of the business name. I’ve been told by support they fixed this but it’s still happening. The app for the desktop (Mac) is even worse. So much potential here. I hope T-Mobile will devote the appropriate level of attention to getting this app functional so we can enjoy it instead of it being a constant source of frustration throughout the day. It truly is very very Beta right now.

WHY DID I TRUST T-MOBILE?! when I asked them why the reviews were so awful they responded with “oh it’s a low rating because the app is new and not many people have reviewed it yet!” So I SPECIFICALLY ASKED “honestly, are there a lot of issues with digits, because if there are, I’d rather just get a separate business phone.” Lol. They told me the app is “GREAT! No common issues!” Well great. I JUST STARTED A SMALL BUSINESS. MY DIGITS NUMBER IS ON MY VEHICLE/WEBSITE/BUSINESS CARDS and come to find out, people have been trying to inquire my services but are complaining that I don’t respond! SOMETIMES I get an alert about a missed call or message, but when I go to retrieve it, everything is deleted. I even texted with a lady and scheduled her first appointment but when I went in to open the message so I could write her name/number/address down in my appointment book, IT VANISHED. now a new client will think I just didn’t show up because I have no way to find out who she is or how to contact her now. This is a new business I’m starting. I’ve lost atleast 10 opportunities in the past week and I’m devastated now. I have never wanted to throw my phone so bad

My previous reviews contained detailed information about the various ways this app failed to perform for me. Those reviews disappeared along with my call history and text messages. After using the DIGITS service for several months, and working with tech support multiple times, a rep just informed me that they don’t keep text messages and voice mails on the service—as if I should have known that all along. Nice. I have worked with T-mobile with the logging out issues this app has. For some reason, this is a security feature for WiFi networks. They tweaked things on their side to get the service operational for me, which I greatly appreciated, but I was logged out again this week. When I logged back in, my history, voice mails, and texts were gone—even on the website. In addition, people still complain that they can’t reach me, which defeats the purpose of paying for a second phone line. This service simply isn’t for me. Too unreliable. It’s a shame. I wanted it to work out, but I’d be better off with a cheap second phone just for business calls. At least then my texts and voice mails won’t be deleted.

Update: I have been up to date and that seems to be the issue. It seems every update something gets better, then something else breaks. Since the last update now I lose connection and it says something about being Forbidden. The beta version seemed to run better. Now I have to restart the app every 10-20 minutes. It's a great concept so far, but it's falling short of some very minor expectations. I'm not saying anyone's work is bad, so please don't think that. I'm ready for this thing to rock the socks off of the competition. Since the last couple of updates the app has been crashing, slow to respond or update with new texts.. I haven't been able to use the call function because of poor quality (WIFI or DATA), and my texts seem to fail constantly. Uninstall Reinstall made no change. This is my personal line not business oriented but it's nice not having to carry around two phones. Please either revert back or fix the stability T-Mobile.

As of February of 2019 this app is not worth it if you want to consistently receive calls and text messages. I thought I’d be able to manage a rental business without carrying a second phone, but after two months of headaches and hours with T Mobile techs, I’m going back to a separate phone. You constantly need to delete the app and reinstall, shut down the phone and turn back on. Sometimes text messages are there and other times they are not. I recently couldn’t delete voicemails that I listened to and had to reinstall the app. When I did, I lost all the contacts in my favorites list. I was able to delete the old voicemails, it not any new ones I received. After not being able to receive the last two phone calls, I’m done!” The people at T Mobile are nice enough, but none of them seem to know about the terrible reviews that this app gets. They’ll tell you how wonderful it is and when you have problems they’ll sincerely try to help you, but it will be impossible until they find someone else to redesign this mess of an app.
Great Concept, Not So Great Execution

Having a synchronized platform to manage my carrier texts, at the very least, across all platforms would be enough for me to be completely content regardless of the other features it contains. Unfortunately this app will not satisfy that desire. I only occasionally receive text notifications on my other devices, and trying to send a text using Digits will ensure your recipient thinks you’re blatantly ignoring them as the message will never send. I’m alerted to phone calls, but trying to answer them from Digits also ensures that the caller won’t hear you from any device, including your primary line. I have frantically tried to yell ‘hello’ into all of the devices in my vicinity unsure of where Digits is actually routing the call through amidst the madness of ringing from every connected Digits device. I remember it used to work so that if I answered a call from my iPad, I would have audio through my iPad. Same for other devices. Now, it doesn’t seem to supply audio anywhere. Or really do much of anything. In short, I’d stay away from this app. It’s nothing but a nuisance.

I just signed up and have an iPhone 7. I have notifications turned on but I still get nothing on my screen that I have a text message through DIGITS. What I do get is an audio sound but it several sounds in a row kind of similar to something that is skipping. So having the notification of a text message on your screen would definitely help I'm not sure why T-Mobile can't figure this out. Nor do I get an indication on the app icon. I'm forced to open the app and look to see if I have a text message. I've been a digital phone user for about two years now with other applications and was hoping that T-Mobile would be a step above. I would like it to work very similar to iMessage and be able to send other types of emoji's or bitmojis but it does not allow that. Keep trying T-Mobile UPDATE!!!! The Off shore CSR canceled my digits number and replaced it with a new number!!! These people cannot understand ENGLISH!!! I use that number for business. These people are crazy! You need US based customer service! I'm switching back to AT&T! T-Mobile is a Cracker Jack company!

Pros: The concept to allow me to carry one phone instead of two for personal and work is great. Text messages work great. I was able to import my Contacts which saved a lot of time. The use is fairly simple and intuitive for handling one number, texts and voicemails. Cons: my biggest concern is that there is a delay which makes conversation sometimes difficult. It’s not as bad as I think that some have stated, but it does cause talking over clients and vice versa. Creating a contact from a call or text isn’t as easy to do as I’d hoped, but no big deal. I haven’t experienced many dropped calls, but sometimes I’ll get a missed call and vm without having heard a ring. Overall - not a bad alternative to carrying multiple phones, but I hope that the delay can be reduced or eliminated to give this a higher rating. I might try Google Phone to see if it is any better but I think VoIP is always going to have a delay.

I've had digits for two weeks now, well more like 10 days, this app constantly sends a notification to my phone that there was a disturbance with my truck, disturbance that the recording is me getting in my vehicle and shutting the door. It's absolutely ridiculous. I think the app has some bugs that need to be worked out because this is crazy. There is no reason why I should be getting disturbance notifications sent to my phone when I'm just getting out of my vehicle. At creators I think you did a bang up job developing the app and it's pretty good at least you know where you're going where you start from where you end up, however The app keeps I miss firing messages and that really needs to be fixed because it is quite annoying. I will be on installing this app because I think it is just too much effort for somebody who is extremely easy-going and likes things simple this is it simple it's complicated.

I can’t say that the app hasn’t improved, that would be lie. I have poor Call quality over data but I’m sure that’s mostly an issue with my network on my personal phone. I would like to not always have to carry two phones which was the point of me getting this app, but it’s not as reliable as I would like it to be. I use voice over data because with usage of cell service my work callers get my personal voicemail and I work in the medical field. I don’t need my patients accessing my personal line and I don’t want to change my personal voicemail greeting to reflect any clinic reference because I want to keep the lines separate. But what would be greatly appreciated other than reliability is a refreshed UI and more ringtone options. This UI is hideous and the font is rather small. Let’s get some customizing options, eh?

Guys I really need this app to ring and inform me that I have messages. I’m using it for business and it is imperative. Please get more people on this and hone it in. I don’t want to buy a second phone just for business. Response to developer: No, it isn’t a notification SOUND problem. Your app just plain does NOT INFORM PEOPLE that there is voicemail at all. Period. It shows NOTHING. I had to go into a T-Mobile store and buy a flip phone and move that number to a SIM card because this app is so unbelievably awful. AWFUL. I am going to suggest T-Mobile stop SELLING it. Just stop. Until you guys have done a LOT more work to this technology. It’s a great concept but right now it’s just embarrassing business owners left and right. Response to developer 2: Okay let me walk you through this step by step. Digits line will ring when call comes in. AUDIBLY. Call will not show what line it is calling for, so the call goes to voicemail. Voicemail is left by caller. No indication of caller’s voicemail ever comes through. Ever. You will not know there is anything in your voicemail box unless you call it from the phone and check it over the phone. No indicators. Sometimes I also get text messages the following day or week from when they were sent. Do you understand now why going to my settings and choosing sounds being on has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ISSUE I AM HAVING? I’m just saying.

My team gave this a try and we have wasted many days and weeks of work hours trying to fix the probs. We have had to move staff to Google Voice as we can’t have unreliable cell service as we deal with crisis calls with children. We tried setting up virtual Digits lines for 4 staff and only 1 was successful, and that 1 took many days of effort. Even though they never used their work email for T-Mobile, when trying to set up new accounts to get the lines to work, it kept saying there’s already an existing account with that email. 2 of us who switched from regular phones to Digits so we could use 1 phone for personal and work calls experienced dropped calls, calling but unable to hear others or callers not able to hear us, calling but no ring, nothing. I can’t keep giving it a chance and waste valuable work time trying to help fix the kinks. T-Mobile Facebook messaging and in-store could not figure out the problems. I spent weeks and months waiting for the issues to be escalated only to be told once I canceled the lines, they couldn’t investigate. But my staff need a working phone immediately so I can’t wait for weeks while they try to figure it out. Even the store rep said to just use Google Voice if we are experiencing so many probs. Very disappointed.

Way to many bugs with this app. I often have to go to the mytmobile web page to turn it back on. It turns its self off all the time with out me knowing. There is no way to tell or notification unless you check if it’s still active. Who knows how many calls or texts I miss or how long it’s actually been off. Then when the app updates I have to redo everything. I lost all my texts and messages twice and can’t recover them. They are suppose to be saved for use on any device I open them on but they just disappeared one day. They use to save. Now the app won’t open. It starts to load or opens for 3 seconds then closes and my phone goes back to home screen. Have t been able to use the app for days since the update and this is t the first time it’s happened. I pay extra for this and I dot want to cancel cuz I do t want to lose the number I feel stuck. I dont even use this number for work because it’s way to unreliable and makes me look bad.
Recent Update Killed the App

After the recent update of the app to version 1.0.5, the app isn't working as expected. Previously, the app was working with no issues. Now, I'm constantly being promoted that the app is no longer active. Yet, the app is open and has stopped receiving calls. Hope this will be fixed sooner than later. Digits is the new innovative platform for using multiple phone numbers on one device or one phone number on multiple devices. This is definitely on the next level. Just when you think that T-Mobile has outdone themselves, they release something else. Upon being approved for the beta and getting an additional phone number to use on my device, I was able to sign in and use the app. I'm using Digits on an iPhone 7 Plus. The app has allowed me to make and receive calls, as well as send and receive messages. So far so good...
Needs real investment

This is a critical app and a major reason I chose and stay with T-mobile. I understand from one of the T-Mobile Engineers that there is finally a thought to invest real resources in making this a great app which is really promising. I am glad to hear that because I was worried they would abandon it which would cause myself and many others to leave T-Mobile. Having said all that the iOS app continues to be plagued with problems especially on the text messaging side. For a time I could not input the phone numbers to send a text message ... the app would just crash. Responding to texts worked fine. That problem was apparently fixed with an update. Everything seemed to be working ok, but after some recent update I can no longer send text messages to any international numbers ....it just returns a “failed” result. Domestic works fine and I can receive all texts, and I can receive all texts from anywhere ... but not reply internationally! This seems specific to the iOS app as it works fine from my desktop Digits app. I suspect this issue will get fixed ... but have no idea when the next app update will roll out. Frustrating. Hopefully T-Mobile will get this Digits App which I view as a vital offering, sorted. Hope to update the review then. This should be a 5star app.
They Try

I use this app for answering business calls on my personal phone. It worked very well initially. But recently in one of their updates it started dropping the calls about 15-30 seconds into every single call. Very embarrassing when dealing with costumers. I can’t speak on behalf of texting as we do it very minimally not problems there though. Checking voicemails also works as it should. But the main function of it being used to answer calls on another phone is a failure and we do not use it anymore. We use the data mode so that we can differentiate and set a different ringtone on our personal phones because you can’t do that being set on the regular phone setting. Hopefully the fix that soon so we can keep utilizing the app to be able to answer the phone on our personal phones. Great idea of an app though, all in all.!
Consistent resets, lost messages, dropped calls

I had and old phone, so was waiting to review because I was told part of the issue MAY be compatibility/phone age, but got a new iPhone 90 days ago and nothing has changed. This app, although an incredible concept, is poorly put together at best. Over 80% of the voice calls experience a 2-3 second delay, causing both parties to talk over each other constantly during conversations. The app fails (stops receiving messages altogether) at least once every 60 days needing a full uninstall and reinstall. When the reinstall happens, your last 100+ messages show as unread and need to be re-read, AND at least 10% of the message histories are lost completely. This app was one of the reasons I switched to T-Mobile (so I wouldn’t need a business AND personal phone, but it’s a TERRIBLE option for anyone with a business (unless you don’t care about professionalism or reliability).

I gave this app about a week to try to merge my calls/texts from my Note 8 to my iPhone X. I’m a realtor and I wanted to consolidate my devices so that I didn’t have to carry around two devices all of the time, and stay in the Apple Ecosystem. But in this short period of time I’ve used the app, I’ve already missed multiple calls and texts from clients on the app that I should’ve received, but on my Note 8 they were there if I happened to leave that device at home. Same goes for voicemails. It defeats the purpose of what I’m trying to accomplish. Nope, I can’t use this for my business like I intended. I LOVE T-Mobile, especially how they’ve treated me as business account, but this app isn’t properly developed. I’ll be forced to upgrade to one of the new XS devices to use the dual SIM feature for this to work like I want, but I don’t feel I should have to do that considering that I should be able to do the same thing from this app, but can’t...
Terrible function

I’m glad they have an app that can send messages and calls across all devices but that happiness quickly dissipates when I actually need to use the app. It regularly signs me out for no reason whatsoever. 95% of the time when I go to type a message it says that my line is “offline” without giving any explanation as to why it is saying offline(not an internet issue). So I have to wait until It inexplicably changes and I can suddenly send messages again. It won’t forward messages and the share function doesn’t work when you try to share something from a different app. When I go to access the app or try to switch between it and another app it will completely freeze my iPad, at least 50% of the time. I really don’t even know why I still have this app installed, It does nothing but frustrate me. It does say a lot about the quality of work and standards that TMobile has for them to leave this like that for so long.

UPDATE: Do not get this app and service. Its been too long now and it still deactivates itself at random and I'm missing business calls as a result. I know I'm missing them because I have ads tied to this number track logging attempted calls and customers asking if I got their messages. I've already started a number port to the Vonage version of this, which based on reviews appears more reliable. I'll be demanding a refund for the two service months I had with T-Mobile too. This app screams of class-action. Don't use it. ---- The app unregisters the phone line twice a week and I don't know about it until I go to use it, which means I could have missed business calls. I get a message that the device is offline and I go to put it back online and have to go through the whole registration process again - each 3-4 days this happens. This app is NOT ready for release. App makers need to stop using their real users as pre-beta testers.

I’ve had the digits line since August 2018, to use as my new business line in addition to my personal line. Digits has been a nightmare since day one. I had read all the bad reviews but there were some decent reviews too, so I decided to give it a try. Literally, one problem after another. I got to know the supervisor of one of the teams in Texas really well because we spoke by phone so often. Finally, the last straw was speaking with technical support yesterday to get help signing back into my digits line, and being told that in order to maintain security I should close the app and re-sign in once per week. This is ridiculous! I always have problems signing in (their tech issues, not mine), and I need a telephone line that is reliable and works, and doesn’t need to be coddled on a daily basis. Even my original voicemail message has disappeared. Please listen to all the bad reviews. This app does not work!
Very unreliable

I use this for my business and it’s always one problem or another. Here’s my list of issues the this app. 1. Calls not coming in. I have my iPhone synced with my iPad so I could hear if any calls come in, so if I don’t hear my phone I’ll hear the iPad. Well my iPad rings and shows an incoming digits call coming in but not my phone, unfortunately the phone number doesn’t show and I can’t return the calls. It will not show any missed calls on my phone. 2. Sometimes when a call does get thru, as soon as you answer, it drops the call. 3. Don’t always get text messages. Updating the app, deleting it and putting it back on or turning your phone off then back on does not work. 4. Out of the blue text messages may appear days later. 5. Voicemail may also appear later. 6. I’ve had the app actually turn off my digit number. Get your act together T-Mobile, there has been more than enough time to fix these known issues. If you can’t maybe give it to a high school for a class project, I’m sure they’ll get it done. Yes I have spoken to your tech support many times and they are very well aware of them. Being in business customers don’t want to know or care that I have issues with my carrier, they just want to reach me and if they can’t I lose business and money. Enough of the excuses and fix the app!!!
