Privacy Concerns
by 🍐🍋🍊🍎🍇 on 2020/01/18 20:20
The app requires you to give it your exact GPS location to recommend a suitable time zone which is nonsense since it can already get that information in other ways without your exact location (through other time zone APIs). During setup it also wants you to disconnect from your home WiFi then connect your phone to its WiFi. This means all of your web traffic is now going to the uHoo device which is a huge privacy and security concern. This is not required for any other smart home device. Sending it back. Not for me.
Love the Uhoo, graphs could use some work
by adworacz on 2019/09/29 16:14
As other commenters have called out, using the data in the app is more difficult than it should be. Having to use an hour picker just to look at the previous hour is extremely slow. Ideally, an implementation of horizontal scroll, similar to Plume’s would be excellent, making it much easier to look hour by hour or day by day. On the positive side: I love the Insights, and smart notifications like ‘feeling stuffy?... CO2’ etc. Its caused us to become aware of how sealed our bedroom is at night, for example. It’s also nice to see the impact of my air purifier on the PM2.5 and TVOCs.
Works flawlessly

I downloaded this app after buying the uHoo Indoor Air Quality Sensor on Amazon. I like how quickly the app helped set up my new purchase! I also liked the tips the app gave for improving the indoor air quality. Now I can monitor my home environment right from the convenience of my smartphone.
Best Air Qualifier and App 5.3 is GREAT!!!
by jerR63 on 2018/12/17 22:37
I have sever Tinnitus due to allergies and poor air quality. I have always been concerned that what the quality was outside entered my house. Now I have a way to review the air quality in many rooms of my house. It is a great device! They have responded to many of my question almost immediately. This is a great product! Thanks uHoo team.
New App GUI is not better
by Clayton Richards on 2018/12/15 16:11
How do I roll back to the previous version? I liked being able to see the graphs in landscape mode navigate by pressing back/forward. Now, you have to select the drop down for the date/time. Developers should look at the Sensor Push app. Their interface is wonderful.
Awful. Makes having an iPhone a disadvantage.
by Dachshundluvr on 2018/12/07 15:39
The old app was easy to use and worked identically as Android version. This new app does not. It penalizes iPhone users adding two cumbersome steps and an awkward, difficult-to-use interface for getting a chart on a single type of measure. So far this app is all downside for the iPhone user. Am very disappointed with it. Bad move, if the goal was customer service. So what was the goal?
Great device!

I love this device just wish there was a little quicker of a response time with any questions via email. I had some serious questions in the first week to carbon dioxide and never got a response back. It looks like the sensor need to be broke in a little bit and leveled off. Everything stabilized after a week or two

Version 3.3 doesn’t work. Refuses to recognize username or password. Bricks the device.
