NAME IS A LIE, NOT ACTUALLY A METRONOME
by jpfoland on 2019/09/04 01:12
This is not a metronome app, it’s a composer app. It has a lot of functionality that I’m sure is great for people composing beats and rhythms but it is NOT a metronome. There is seemingly no function for simply setting a ticker to an established time (4/4, 6/8, etc.) and just letting that run.

by Homeboy Jon on 2019/08/17 23:21
I use this app regularly as my natural sense of rhythm isn’t the best. I like being able to tap a tempo from a recording and play along with the click and the indicators for what the count is are a real lifesaver.

I’ve been a singer - songwriter since the 1960’s and realized I could really use a metronome app on my phone. I tried 2 different apps but didn’t have much patience with them. Then I found The Metronome by Soundbrenner. After 5 minutes I knew it will be a great help to my songwriting. I know I am just scratching the surface of what Soundbrenner has to offer musicians. Looking forward to more.
Tap function lags
by MusicMaker 8619 on 2019/07/10 14:06
The tap function lags. Trying to tap in bpm’s during a set is impossible. Also the tap button is way to small to hit while playing live. Take away the lag and make a tap function that turns the entire screen into the tap button and I’ll give 5 stars. In the meantime, I use this for personal practicing. Really like how easy it is to change time sigs and sub divisions.

Even a child can use it!
by Agile_GSD on 2019/06/30 23:19
My 10yo is toward the end if her first year of piano lessons. She has been struggling with speed and accuracy together. She was dreading practice and classes. I thought a metronome would help her increase speed incrementally, but am frankly running out of space! So, I looked in the App Store and found this app. It’s absolutely perfect! It was up and running instantly — even with a middle-aged mom at the controls. ;-) We started her exercise at 100bpm and increased it by 5bpm at a time. In less than an hour, she was accurately performing the piece at 230bpm!!! She’s once again excited about practice and classes. Her metronome app is her constant companion at the piano now. I’m sure there are plenty of great features that will be useful one day. But those extra features often make it difficult for newbies to do the basics. Not here! The basic stuff is intuitive and simple. Love it! Thank you!
Best Metronome App Out There
by PatrickSMcKinnis on 2019/06/30 18:35
I love using Soundbrenner as my go to metronome. There are so many things you can do with the app. Overall the experience is great. The only suggestion I have (and maybe it’s already a thing and I just don’t know how to do it) is that you are given the capability to create your own “song” per say. What I mean is that a musician would be able to take a piece he or she is working on and replicate it as a saved file. You would be able to put in the number of measures and customize it with the correct time signatures as well as beats per measure as they change throughout the piece. Other than that, this is a fantastic app and I would recommend it to any beginner and or professional.

App crashes everytime
by Ben Figuly on 2019/06/06 01:05
The entire reason I bought a soundbrenner pulse was so I could use the feature where you can load your setlist into the app and it will memorize the tempos for each song. Unfortunately I am unable create this playlist because LITERALLY EVERY TIME you hit the library button, the app immediately crashes without even trying to load it. It does the same thing when you click the “load” button on top. I really need this feature for a gig I’m doing the day after tomorrow but I guess that’s not happening. I can’t even use the product for the whole reason I bought it

Sometimes you only realise how good something is when you try the alternatives. Great interface, easy to use, and most importantly the sounds are very pleasant. by rogerw on 2019/05/18 14:48
I really love the device. I play drums and this device really helps keep me on the beat. My problem is with the application. Occasionally when the application updates it deletes my song library, and there is no way to backup the library. I had a song library with about 200 songs in it, and after an update the library is gone. Really a pain to have to re-enter all my songs.

This app REALLY helps me. I have been playing upright bass for over 5 years and clarinet for about 6 months and it really does help. I definitely recommend this!!!

Best metronome app ever
by catpetter2001 on 2018/07/19 16:41
This is not one of those apps that makes you buy their stuff to get to use more on this is one of the apps that is actually on the market free to use and isn’t trying to scam you into buying a lot of stuff just to use a metronome. They do have a wearable device that cost about $100 that’s can link directly to the app but it is not needed to use the app. I haven’t bought in the Yum wearable part of it yet, But with all of those apps that I’ve wasted money Paying for extra content I could’ve use that money to buy the wearable device. So I suggest you check this app out if you’re looking for a Metronome that’s easy to use it has many different features you easily get overwhelmed but that’s the point when it does have some cool options like you can tap a button over and over and over to set your own tempo . if you’re going to download a metronome stop wasting money and download this one if you want to use money not wasted because this is not a waste by the actual device I’m going to do that resume or update this review on without the app and tracks with the device one side by the device but for now it’s five stars
Edit: Klopfgeist and other sounds stutters at higher tempos and while using different subdivisions.
by Mindwess Wetad on 2019/02/07 21:47
Edit: Be careful which sound you choose for the metronome, as they sometimes stutter and change the downbeat. In my initial review I forgot that I had changed the sound to Klopfgeist. There are some other sounds that act funny at higher tempos and different subdivisions, but some of them work fine. And the fact that you can change sounds, subdivisions, and time signatures is great. (Pre-edited review): I’ll preface by saying the interface is easy to use and I like that it is one of the few free metronome apps that allows you to customize time signature, subdivisions, and click sounds. I am a drummer, and having a tool to help lock in more difficult patterns, grooves, and rudiments is wonderful. However, whenever the audible beats are at highish tempos/actual playing speeds (noticed it starting with quarter notes above 120bpm, eighth notes at 64bpm, triplets at 84bpm), there are clicks that sound like digital clipping distortion, sometimes blended with the chosen click sound, sometimes swinging on offbeats. Occasionally, the metronome will stutter off-tempo and change the downbeat, halting practice, defeating the purpose of using a metronome. I only use the standalone app as a practice tool. Be wary if you are thinking about using it in a gigging scenario or spending money on it or its affiliated products.
Great app. Maybe over kill for an old guy.
by chirotay on 2018/04/29 06:09
I didn’t use a metronome for many many years and didn’t record my self either. Finally another musician suggested that I meter myself. So I started with an external metronome drum box that cost about $80 bucks. But then I found a few met apps and they helped but would shut of if I opened a recording app. So I tried this vibrating met. And it didn’t work for me but this metering app is way good. I am able to record my self while the app stays on and it doesn’t time out part way through. And it can store the names of songs and their timing and which key and has really helped me improve my singing and playing. People don’t get up and leave because I have great timing now, even when I forget the words. I don’t lose them. The price is worth a good product.
Love the pulse and app BUT.....
by cvoyiatt on 2017/11/08 16:05
Since receiving the body band the pulse works great for me as a drummer. As I have used the app more and more in rehearsal and gig settings, some things I would love to see improved for practicality and ease of use. The ability to modify your own main screen with some options would be great. For example, when a setlist is loaded in the player, it would be nice to see five or six songs in the box i/o just one, to be able to scroll and identify tunes quickly in the case where the band goes away from the original plan. Realistically as well, for an old guy like me, the font is pretty small when using an iphone especially to see in low light settings. Like other metronomes I have used the primary button dial (watch face in your case) could be a little smaller to allow for more space above. Thanks and keep the improvements coming.

Powerful app and easy to use
by MatthewEBauer on 2018/07/04 17:17
I love what the Soundbrenner team is up to. I have been familiar with the product since it’s release and have tried the pulse metronome a number of times including at NAMM. I personally don’t use the vibrating bands as I like my IEMs but that mean I discredit that part of the technology. Forerunners in the field and quite a different tactile sense. The stand alone app is simple to create songs, edit playlists, add subdivisions, count ins, and more! Lighting options, light pulsing, and Bluetooth are all other useful tools as well. I have tried numerous metronome apps before the Soundbrenner team released this app and product and I have to say this is still the best hands down. Nothing negative to say.
SO SO GREAT BUT!
by Jacob Rhymes on 2019/03/25 13:30
This app is amazing, but please add this one feature and it’s a done deal. Add custom MEASURES within songs to have an easy flow of songs and tempo changes after a certain amount of measures!! (EVEN MORE IMPORTANT)! Also, the transition between songs in a set list MUST be seamless. Meaning when I click the next button, and I still have 2 or 3 beats left in that measure, it should WAIT UNTIL the downbeat of the NEXT MEASURE in order to change. If you do this, things like Rush will be a drummers dream with this metronome, and I will be able to calculate measures in order to help with my practice for my WGI independent group I am in, for seamless movement transitions.
Elegant but Confusing
by NY Denizen on 2018/10/31 01:56
Sleek design, but a little bulky for wrist wear. However there are other body-position options. But since there seems no way to stop the metronome from flashing brightly to each beat, you may end up having a distracting light emanating from your chest, arm, foot! I also couldn’t find how to set a vibrational accent on the first beat of each measure. Designers seem to think that anyone using the device is an experienced musician! The basic function of a metronome is to measure time by communicating beats, according to the user’s requirements. Introducing non intuitive concepts such as ‘Compose’, ‘Songs’ and ‘Playlists’ in a metronome is just confusing, and to this user, probably unnecessary. Also, for some unspecified reason, there is but a single default setting, 4/4 at 120bpm when you shake your device. Cool idea, but useless if you’re wanting another setting. App froze on me while doing required firmware update. Undocumented fix required from tech support took overnight since they are 12 time zones away. Conclusion: I’d gladly take a slimmed down, single purpose vibrating, body-attaching, metronome, for less money and easier learning curve.
This is the best one I’ve found
by guitar.pickin.man on 2018/08/12 09:22
As a musician, there’s hundreds of options when looking for a metronome app. I’ve heard of this company but thought you could only use the app if you had the wearable metronome, but when I first installed the app and it gave me the option to just use it as a metronome, I was blown away! I just recently set up my account, which wasn’t an option with the other apps out there. the way you can change the time signatures and everything is truly remarkable! I am giving it a five star rating because that is what it deserves!
LOVE IT 😍
by Viunasoltani on 2017/12/26 09:09
I am a part of a colorguard team. I often use this to understand the tempo of music that is hard to understand. Sometimes I even edit the music with the metronome in the background. It really helps when I’m trying to hit something sharp. I also love how you can still play outside of the app. I have to often record videos of myself to my coaches over the break but also to improve. My fellow guardians know this helps with rifle and saber. Any ways not gonna get too in detail but I love the app and it has truly helped me. X
Just a Minor Issue
by Dreamscapelove on 2018/07/15 00:19
So far I have been using this app as my metronome for 3-4 years. This app is amazing and I use it every time I practice on my clarinet, but one issue seems to always come up. Every time I am practicing, the met just suddenly stops for a second or two and then it starts again. Sadly this has been going on for a while and although the app is getting more improvements, this one problem just isn’t getting improved on. Not only does this happen once, but during my time of practicing it keeps happening on and off, a handful of time every time I use it. Other than that, this is app is great.
Love it! Thank you!
Excellent metronome
by Ramanan4 on 2018/10/31 16:29
The best of all apps I have tried. I like that it does not make you buy within the app to unlock some feature. I have now composed and saved many patterns. iOS Screen time tells me i am spending 12h per week in this app. That is how useful it is to me. One suggested feature. I would like a delay setting. That way I can hit start, count to 3 and start playing. Right now it starts playing immediately. So i have to skip some notes in the start, or wait for the next time the song pattern repeats.
Best Metronome App TO DATE!!!!!
by Micah210 on 2019/03/28 19:44
The fact that you can use different sounds for the actual metronome itself is pretty impressive; but when you factor in the fact that you can pair wearables with this app is ALL THE RAGE! I’m on the worship team at my church and as a drummer, whenever I have to washout on the cymbals it’s difficult to actually change the Click while still drumming, only with the Soundbrenner Pulse I can change the Click and/or stop it entirely with the flick of a finger! 10/10 Would Recommend!!
A Really Great Metronome
by reidjazz on 2019/01/04 16:43
I use this app along with the Soundbrenner Pulse haptic (or vibrating) metronome. The so alone is easily my favorite metronome app but paired with the Pulse makes for an amazing tool for my own practice as well as for use on our worship team at our church...I feed everyone the sound of the click and I feel the click via the Pulse. Really helps my situation with severe tinnitus. I also use the two when I'm performing with Ableton Live, as Metronome supports Ableton Link, allowing me to have the Pulse perfectly in sync with Live.
So close to awesome yet so far...
by Bumptious B on 2019/01/17 02:10
First, I want to commend these folks for offering a free metronome with all the subdividing bells and whistles. That is mighty, mighty cool and I’m a fan on that basis alone. That said, the swing beat setting is so glitchy it is absolutely unusable at any tempo -it is, sadly, the worst I’ve ever experienced. I haven’t had it very long and haven’t explored the other subdivisions but it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing. On a less dismal note, it would be great if, in the wide variety of sounds offered, there was an actual, simple metronome click. Tough one to rate star-wise as it is almost an incredible app but it fails on its most elementary mandate. A fix of these tempo glitches would warrant so many stars. I wish the developers well...
Quality App; Re-Install Cured Issue
by MaybeMilo on 2018/12/26 14:16
This has always been a quality app (especially for free use), but I find the new version no longer remembers the preference settings I had prior to my last exit. It’s a minor annoyance (though still an annoyance) to have to set everything back again if I’m still working on the same piece. Not a fatal flaw, though, and I do appreciate the application. Thanks! EDIT: Re-Install fixed issue — I should have tried that right off the bat.
Literally perfect, just one thing I’m looking for..
by morrrie on 2018/12/23 19:18
Practiced with it for a day and I’m already over my old metronome app. It’s great. I am definitely switching over to this one, however, I just have one thing I would like added in to it. All the tempo sounds just aren’t doing it for me. I’m marching corps this summer and I guess I’m really looking for that particular high pitched, ear aching, digital sound. I just like for my metronome to pierce through whatever I’m playing, and none of these sounds do that. If a sound like this could be added in that’d be amazing, 12/10!
If this is a marketing ploy, it worked!
by Davidslee101 on 2017/09/18 16:17
I'm a worship leader and at a medium sized church and we play to a click for our worship sets.I have downloaded EVERY metronome app possible. I've bought Dr. Betotti, Tempo Advanced, and tried all the free ones. This app is free and it's the best for live settings. It's so well designed that I'm going to buy their product because I think it's going to be amazing based in how well this app is made. I'm also a web developer, so if this company is hiring, I'd love to interview with them!!!
Really solid app!
by JDTuck on 2019/01/13 12:19
This is my go to metronome whenever I'm on stage. Easy to run and reliable. Only criticisms are… 1. I wish it had a simplified stage mode with just songs and start/stop buttons that were bigger for when your playing and running click. 2. When you exit the app to go to another app and come back to it, it defaults back to the start screen and you have to set the entire set up again from your saved library. Other than those, I absolutely love Soundbrenner and will continue to use it.
Great metronome app
by RhodeIrish on 2018/05/15 19:03
This metronome app is my new favorite. As a standalone app it delivers all I need in a metronome but when paired with the Soundbrenner Pulse (which, if you’re a drummer - its vital!) your notion of time using audio (metronome) and/or feel (the Pulse) will improve dramatically. That is, if you put the work in. As if there weren’t enough, the Soundbrenner team constantly tweaks the app and the device as well as new features based in part of user feedback/requests. What the heck else could you want?
Awesome app
by Heat 2012 on 2018/02/17 20:41
I want to say This app really helps alot, I got the wristband yesterday and amazing how I can feel the tempo of the music through the wrist, I will try the Arm too, but wow really helps when I feel the tempo than hearing it, I have a hard time keep timing with tempo sound while using the guitar, just very hard for me to keep track with the beat but, now with the feel, I will be practicing more often and be less confused. Thank you Soundbrenner 👍 I consider best app
Review of Soundbrenner App
by 2011370Z on 2018/11/25 18:08
So far, I’m liking this app a lot! Very easy to use and it makes using a metronome so much easier. I’m enjoying practicing Bach Inventions so much more with this app. I like being able to change the tempo to a specific speed as well as the volume and sound. I’m even going to use it with some of my running drills that suggest using a metronome. I’m considering purchasing the vibration device, but I want to use this app for the sort time.
Love it
by VMC222 on 2018/09/26 15:21
I love this app and I have mentioned this to my section at my school and this is useful cause there is no pay needed to get the stuff you might want or need because it can save songs so you don’t have too look up or remember tempos it’s very easy to use not too confusing and plays eighth sixteenths triplets and lots of other combos of rhythms totally recommend to everyone in band it took my went over my expectations way over my expectations
Great app. Awesome metronome
by Bustopher_II on 2018/09/13 22:27
Excellent application! If scoring rate had 10 stars, this app would deserve 20. Well-designed interface, easy to use, very fluid, accurate and steady pulse, completely customizable time signatures: it allows to set tempos, subdivisions, accents and the number of bars per song (or its corresponding time length). It also provides a saving/loading option for rhythms (songs) and playlists, with no use limitations of its features. And moreover, no INTRUSIVE adds.
Excellent. Great ergonomics sophisticated without being complicated or difficult to use
by mfergie6 on 2019/05/21 01:21
Sometimes you only realise how good something is when you try the alternatives. Great interface, easy to use, and most importantly the sounds are very pleasant. You can change them and set it up exactly how you want it but the fundamental samples are very organic and warm sounding unlike many of the other alternatives out there. I love my Soundbrenner metronome
Brilliant
by Lanman16 on 2018/07/23 10:54
Finally! A free metronome app that works as well as a Dr. Beat! I’ve been waiting for a metronome app of this quality to come around for years, without having to pay an arm and a leg for it. Seriously, download this app - you’ll never need another metronome again. Also, highly recommend the wearable accessory as well. It is a bit pricey, but in comparison to a Dr. Beat it’s worth every penny. Happy playing!
Pretty Good
by GiveItAStar on 2018/10/09 16:11
This app is a life saver. My instructor uses this, and I love it too. The only thing i would suggest is, maybe not so many product update notifications? It’s a little bit bothersome. Glad you make updates and all, but I can check it out myself when I open the “discover” button. I don’t need you to take over my screen when I open the app. Just a thought. As I said before, this app was a great investment, and I would encourage anyone to try it out!
I can’t even use the product for the whole reason I bought it
Easy to use yet effective
by jambuzz06 on 2018/02/21 01:36
This is the first review I’ve made, but I feel this app deserves it. I came for a simple metronome download, and went away with much more than I expected — libraries, customizable features, impressive, friendly design, the whole nine yards. And I have yet to find a single glitch. At least for what I use it for (playing and composing on the piano), it has worked great!
Lots of potential
by _John_Scott_2468 on 2018/09/21 04:59
I really want to get into this app because being able to use a watch that vibrates the tempo is really cool however I noticed some issues that I came across and hopefully offer some conservative criticism I would like to be able to take 6/8 in a slow 2 feel at doted quarter notes = 50 with an 8th note sub division like in a Walts feel instead of having to put it at 150 clicks also on the attached file on the “contact us” section in app dose not let me attach a photo or a small video And another really good idea is to be able to tune your instrument using the same app And maybe possibility of being able to record your self as memos and play it back so you can listen to intonation and as well as if your rushing and so on
Of what use is a metronome if you’ve not a musician and you’re old?
by Flip1228 on 2018/09/03 18:38
The greatest threat to being able to maneuver as one gets older is a lack of flexibility. The most recent research on steering and the chronology advanced shows that the best results are achieved by stretches held for at least 60 seconds. You can either count 1001, 1002, etc., or download this exceptional programmable app and set free the vaulting sheep forever.
How hadn’t I seen this before?!
by colourandanalyse on 2017/11/17 03:18
I’ve never fallen in love with an app, let alone a metronome so quickly. Sleek, to the point, and wildly different than all the others out there. It does just what you need it to, and still outperforms with not-often-thought-about added extras that are designed to work in conjunction with the Soundbrenner device, but work just as comprehensively without!
Best app ever!
by smd031916 on 2019/07/13 05:22
I’ve been a singer - songwriter since the 1960’s and realized I could really use a metronome app on my phone. I tried 2 different apps but didn’t have much patience with them. Then I found The Metronome by Soundbrenner. After 5 minutes I knew it will be a great help to my songwriting. I know I am just scratching the surface of what Soundbrenner has to offer musicians. Looking forward to more.
FINALLY!
by Marching trumpet on 2017/10/11 19:48
I have tried MANY metronome apps over the years and this one is by FAR my favorite! You get so many features that most metronome apps charge you for for free, plus the app itself is so intuitive and simple to use. I don't have the actual wristband that goes with this app, but I have had no problem working with the app without it. This is easily the best metronome app I have used, FINALLY A MET THAT UNDERSTANDS MUSICIANS!
Just what I needed
by HouseBlend Aspie on 2018/03/07 01:42
I wanted a simply metronome with a screen flash and this works perfectly for me. I am the lead accompanist in my church group and I like to put my phone next to my music binder and set metronome with volume at 0 and screen flash on. I can see the flash in the corner of my vision and it helps me a lot to stay steady when other instrumentalists are starting to accelerate.
100/5 stars
by Zorthios on 2017/12/20 03:00
**BEST METRONOME APP** Amazing metronome app. 100% free; I seriously am in love with the creators for making such a wonderful, sleek, beautiful app and not charging a single penny. Edit to devs: All of you make me smile when I open this app everyday. I hope all of you also have an amazing day. In addition to that, if you guys would like to make an in app purchase for 5-10 dollars, I won't hesitate to buy it. It doesn't matter to me if it even does anything, I just want to support this awesome app. Edit Again: The devs never fail to amaze me. They are constantly asking for feedback and improving all they can for us consumers. Seriously, add a $5 in app purchase so I can support you guys.
Hard to navigate
by theRealDrumBum on 2017/12/30 07:09
In a live show setting the interface is hard to navigate. Essentially, I keep our catalog programmed in to the song library, but, I have to have several clicks to load the next song. This has a few problems: 1) cannot navigate the app quick enough to launch into one song for the next 2) I have to remember the set list order and don’t get to load a playlist Ideally I want a way where I can load up all songs we intend to play as a set list, then be able to quickly hit a “next” button for the next song, or have big-hard-to-miss button to select a specific song. Update: how could I have totally missed this feature. I take back my above comments.
Lack of cloud backup a killer
by LoudenSwain on 2017/10/22 06:07
I’ll start by saying there are a lot of good things about the metronome app and the pulse watch. It generally works well. However, the inability to share a song between devices and the lack of iCloud backup is a real killer. I just bought a new phone and had to re-enter over 100 songs into my new device. Not cool. There should be an easy way to share songs between devices. If they add this functionality I’d give them a 4.5 or 5.
Amazing
by Antonina Q on 2019/05/02 17:14
This app REALLY helps me. I have been playing upright bass for over 5 years and clarinet for about 6 months and it really does help. When I need to learn a new scale, I just start of slow and then I can slowly increase the tempo. I also like how it tells you the name of whatever tempo you have it dialed to. I definitely recommend this!!!
Game changer
by Mike Bills on 2018/03/06 02:16
This app has really helped me get in sync with my one man band when my feet are playing drums at one subdivision, and my guitar playing is subdividing differently. Being able to feel the basic beat makes a huge difference, even at slow tempos when it’s easy to rush. I like how the company is updating the app often.
Basic functionality is OK, but rough around the edges
by Kokubu on 2018/08/23 20:00
It clicks in time, and it has a nice big knob to let you control the tempo, so that’s great. Triplets are funky. Some patterns add an extra click, and I don’t know why. The triplet icon doesn’t fit on the button properly, either. I guess that’s why the demo video doesn’t show this feature. The splash screen, documentation, etc, seem to assume everyone is using this to connect to their hardware. (I’m not even sure what it does.) I tried looking up triplets in the manual, and it’s not mentioned. The “support” link is literally the same FAQs as the app has - which are mostly not about the app. If you use Soundbrenner-brand products, this must be the app to get. Otherwise, it’s just a decent metronome. It’s not my favorite but it’s not bad.
Steno Students get thus app!!!
by Peninsula Player on 2018/10/03 19:57
This is sooooo much better for steno students than a reg metronome. Feeling the beat has helped me to keep a steady speed; I also just feel the beat for speeds much faster than I’m currently writing. I started with the clip which was good but I realized the Pulse would be better for me as it has a much stronger beat setting.
Best metronome app hands down!
by Dark po3t on 2019/03/31 21:45
Great user interface, works well even if you don’t have the Soundbrenner Bluetooth piece (which I recommend using). Love that you can store song BPM in folders too! So many other options that you can customize. There’s not a close 2nd when compared to other metronome apps.
Best app for any musician
by Madfinger games on 2018/09/30 17:31
Honestly I downloaded this app thinking it would be a “free” version but I was so wrong...this app has so many amazing features for the user and you won’t have to worry about it crashing or having ads pop up at all, they really outdid themselves with this app and if u want a good free metronome app, this is the one 🎼
Reliable
by Younger Brother on 2018/09/01 02:42
Been usin’ it for roughly 3 months and it hasn’t let me down. Love the beat accent feature cuz it helps with playing specific grooves. The song memory feature is one of the best things about this app if you’ve got a lot of pieces to practice, you hate wasting time and you prefer to stay organized.
Metronome that doesn’t keep time
by HejDuke on 2018/12/31 15:56
After a few rounds, the beat will shift. What you hear and what you see will end up being different. Where that “shift” happens is not the same every time but the issue can be recreated in several different ways. The metronome function is not very confidence-inspiring and is unfortunately unreliable. I hope the Dev’s will fix this bug. Love the interface though. I will contact support with issue details. I will revisit the review after a fix.
Drum & Bass Guitar
by Frown from Buffalo NY on 2018/02/12 16:35
I went on vacation and forgot to bring my old quartz metronome, worried about how I’m going to keep a beat while reading / playing written drum patterns, I thought of trying the apple App Store, I found this metronome app, downloaded it and wah lah! Just enough for the lack of my old quartz. This app was a life saver and I have been using it ever since.
Love the device, the app leaves something to be desired
by rogerw on 2019/05/18 14:48
I really love the device. I play drums and this device really helps keep me on the beat. My problem is with the application. Occasionally when the application updates it deletes my song library, and there is no way to backup the library. I had a song library with about 200 songs in it, and after an update the library is gone. Really a pain to have to re-enter all my songs.

Really like how easy it is to change time sigs and sub divisions.

by Agile_GSD on 2019/06/30 23:19
My 10yo is toward the end if her first year of piano lessons.
Other than that, this is a fantastic app and I would recommend it to any beginner and or professional.

by Ben Figuly on 2019/06/06 01:05
The entire reason I bought a soundbrenner pulse was so I could use the feature where you can load your setlist into the app and it will memorize the tempos for each song.

Even a child can use it!

Love it!
I can’t even use the product for the whole reason I bought it
Easy to use yet effective
by jambuzz06 on 2018/02/21 01:36
This is the first review I’ve made, but I feel this app deserves it.
