The app worked pretty well up until the most recent “update”. What does update was, was adding advertisements and commercials to the app.Not only did it ring annoying advertisements, it also brought a bunch of glitches. The very thing they claimed the update was to get rid of. I originally have the paid version of this program, and decided it was not worth the money. Now the free version is not worth keeping either.

Okay, just wanted to add a single word, how in heck do you save it back? Tried everything. I don’t want to forward, just “label” pictures. Open/type/save is all I need. No save useless.
I see, save as draft saves a duplicate without any indication of text and out of order. Yep. Useless for my needs see above. Really tried.

...Unless you don’t mind having white as the only option for text color. I considered paying for one month to use all the features, but I noticed that I can’t change the text color. I change the font just fine, I can even change the color of the shadow, but for whatever reason it won’t let me pick a color. I’d understand if it was a premium option (I’d be upset, but I’d understand), but nowhere is that indicated. Without knowing if color selection is behind a paywall, i have to assume the app is buggy and I don’t want to gamble $5 on an app that doesn’t work. Two stars because it’s “functional” in the literal sense. Download it if you want to make a quick meme, but don’t pay a dime until you know exactly what you’re getting.

Would’ve given you 5 stars, but the color feature stopped working. How do I get it to work 🤷🏽♀️. It Was working fine, and suddenly stopped. It’s not working on my 8 or 11 iPhones now. The color feature stopped working on my 11 after the IOS 14 update 2-3 months ago, and just recently stopped working on my 8...and I purposely didn’t do the iOS update on my 8 so the color feature would continue to work. Apple said that you haven’t updated your system in almost 3 years for this app. The color feature is very important to me. BLB💕

I’ve used this app seamlessly for a couple years. But since the latest update, its lost the ability to change font color, and the text I type in the text-entry screen does not always even show up in the text box.

Had this app for a long time, I deleted it because it no longer provides all the free texts , now it has limited ones, plus the color no longer works, only stays in white, this is why I’m only giving it 3 stars, I went with another text app that provides more choices, sorry guys, but y’all need to put it the way it was, or lose more people..

When I first downloaded it, it worked great. But now, all of a sudden, the color text won’t work. I know how to use it. It was working fine before. I’ve had this app for several years when you could purchase what fonts you wanted to purchase for a one time price it was my favorite app then iOS update happened & now I don’t have any color text & missing some of the fonts I’ve always had very disappointed I do graphics for a child loss support group & I’ve tried other apps but not any as easy to use as this I’ve deleted & re downloaded it again but nothing helps

I’ve messaged the makers of this app several time since my latest iPhone update about an issue. I’ve use this app thousands of time and loved it until it stopped working. Now all I can do is use white lettering. I’ll be happy to change this review if you will fix it, otherwise I’m canceling my subscription in on week.

For 2 days, this app started malfunctioning on my iPad and phone. I tried everything I could think of to fix the problem. I could not get a response! Prior to that, I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it is still not working correctly. I need a text app, and I really liked this one. However, I had to install another text program as I need this daily in my photo work. I do not like the other text app as much as I liked this one. I am hoping maybe the company will see this review and contact me. If not, I guess they do not need my business.

I loved using this app. I upgraded for full access. But it is truly overpriced. After ios 14 update, I limited the photos the app could access in my albums & suddenly, I could no longer change the color of text & it started glitching overall. Seems they just want access to all of your pics and to charge ridiculous monthly fees for .... fonts!!

I love it; it’s intuitive and has a variety of options for the text you want to add. The only thing I couldnt figure out is if I can make an outline of a different color for the letters (I ended up just changing the color of the shadow to create half the effect 😅)

Every time I pick a photo to put text on it, it blurs/lowers the quality of the photo. So frustrating. Also it doesn’t let you just crop the way you want which I didn’t like at all, you have to pick from their size choices.

I don’t understand this app. As soon as I crop the photo, before doing anything else, it changes it to a bad quality image. The result of anything I try I to do with this app is a low quality image.
Is this because it’s the free version? I’m not going to pay for the pro version when I can’t use the free version to decide if I like it or not.

I really like the way this app works, but I have a 94-yr-old mother with dementia; we have a loadable digital frame that we send pictures to. I need to identify every person in every photo which is why I got this app. When I add text to the photo for the first person it works great, but for every additional person I have to add text to, the text comes out gigantic; I have to make it smaller, which isn’t easy because it doesn’t stay stable and becomes crooked easily, to the point where I simply give up because I can find no way to correct it. Why does that happen? Why can’t it come out the same size every time? I really wanted it to work out, but it is useless to me the way it is.

Handsome one. It’s amazing because it has 3D Tool that stretches as far as my imagination lets me. There are so many fonts and stickers, I’ll say that it is the best text app i ever used. I can preview every filters and font in the selection window. Resize, move, delete easily, etc. Add stroke and background color whatever I want!!

I use this app to put my signature on all of my professional photos as well as add inspirational quotes. I appreciate that the app is even out there. My only issue is with your latest update.
After I type my caption, the small circle on the bottom right corner used to size and manipulate the text stays stuck. I have to continually tap it attempting to either swivel the text or reduce the size of the text.
This wasn't a problem before the update. I had to lower my original 5 star rating to 4 stars. When this is rectified, I will gladly return you to your well deserved 5 stars.

If I remember correctly, this product for pro version is a subscription. This is really too bad. Really sad that you jumped on board with all the other losers sucking money from people. Seriously you have next to nothing for maintenance and from what I see, your not doing a lot of development. Your logistics cost is next to zero. While I enjoy the simplistic functions of your application, the subscription is NOT WORTH IT! Most applications you just pay the base charge; say WINDOWS, WORD, EXCEL, Lotus, and the list goes on. Not to mention all the options from the AppStore. Even Apple OSX is free and their development is way more extensive than your little-bitty-application
Unless it’s the product is CRITICAL to my operation such as my antivirus, NOBODY and I mean NOBODY scams me and extorts money Via a pointless subscription.
You really should rethink your model.
Anyone looking for a better deal without the subscription , use the Adobe Suite. Search in the App Store for PS Express, Photoshop Fix, and Photoshop Mix. You will need create an ID with Adobe but these apps are very cool and also adds text to photo and stickers.
Color Feature Doesn’t Work For Me

Would’ve given you 5 stars, but the color feature stopped working. How do I get it to work 🤷🏽♀️. It Was working fine, and suddenly stopped. It’s not working on my 8 or 11 iPhones now. The color feature stopped working on my 11 after the IOS 14 update 2-3 months ago, and just recently stopped working on my 8...and I purposely didn’t do the iOS update on my 8 so the color feature would continue to work. Apple said that you haven’t updated your system in almost 3 years for this app. The color feature is very important to me. BLB💕

It’s ok, most of the problem I have with it are the constant full screen ads and the lack of fonts available with the free version. I haven't used it in awhile, but I was ok with the ads because I had a ton of font choices. Now, though, the balance of ads to available free fonts is waaay off and it makes my unhappy. I would consider a one-time $5.00 purchase to get access to the fonts, but no way is it worth $5 every month to get full access. That’s just silly.

I was trying many text adding to photo apps for a school project and this one so far is my favorite. The only problem for me was that I couldn’t change the layout of the text exactly how I wanted it, but it came pretty close to my liking.

For 2 days, this app started malfunctioning on my iPad and phone. I tried everything I could think of to fix the problem. I could not get a response! Prior to that, I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it is still not working correctly. I need a text app, and I really liked this one. However, I had to install another text program as I need this daily in my photo work. I do not like the other text app as much as I liked this one. I am hoping maybe the company will see this review and contact me. If not, I guess they do not need my business.

I’ve had this app for several years when you could purchase what fonts you wanted to purchase for a one time price it was my favorite app then iOS update happened & now I don’t have any color text & missing some of the fonts I’ve always had very disappointed I do graphics for a child loss support group & I’ve tried other apps but not any as easy to use as this I’ve deleted & re downloaded it again but nothing helps

I love it; it’s intuitive and has a variety of options for the text you want to add. The only thing I couldnt figure out is if I can make an outline of a different color for the letters (I ended up just changing the color of the shadow to create half the effect 😅)

Annoying ads - on every fifth step it pops up.
Asks for app review before export is done... unnerving.
Should let you copy a text piece then paste and edit text, to keep same color and style. Almost impossible to match text colors.
Also (big issue!) it should retain most recently used shadow, color, font usage to match new text pieces. Instead you have to re-select settings every time. PLEASE FIX. Easy to fix.
But you got to chill out on the adware! If I say no to the first one, I'm going to say NO to the second third fourth and fifth every 20 seconds.
If people have a bad experience with the free version they're not gonna want to upgrade

Had this app for a long time, I deleted it because it no longer provides all the free texts , now it has limited ones, plus the color no longer works, only stays in white, this is why I’m only giving it 3 stars, I went with another text app that provides more choices, sorry guys, but y’all need to put it the way it was, or lose more people..

I really like this app, and appreciate how easy it is to use. However, I have one suggestion for improvement. After sizing and positioning your text, it would be really nice to have a "one tap" option to straighten it. Otherwise, I have a really hard time straightening my text. Thanks for creating this fun-to-use app!

This is AMAZING it’s super easy to use and really effective. I’ve deleted countless apps but my friend recommended this to me and I’ve been using it since. Though many of the fonts cost money there are still some really nice free ones.

You see I use this app to make thumbnails for contests I hold but it is very hard that you need to pay for fonts and there is also a bug which prevents you from editing photos like a week or two old please fix and make fonts free. I don’t want to go to phonto

I bought a font package and couldn’t wait to try it out. But I noticed that the fonts are a bit blurry and not as crystal clear as it should be. Another problem is how there is a blackened shadow or haze when you use the fonts! If I would have known this, I wouldn’t have spent my money. Another issue, is the overwhelming number of ads. Sorry but I don’t recommend!

This used to be the best add text to photos app I’d ever seen. It was simple to use and with a small one time fee you could have all the fonts you could ever want. But now it’s more complex to use and you have to pay a monthly 5 dollar fee if you want to have any fonts beside the basic ones that are free.

I loved using this app. I upgraded for full access. But it is truly overpriced. After ios 14 update, I limited the photos the app could access in my albums & suddenly, I could no longer change the color of text & it started glitching overall. Seems they just want access to all of your pics and to charge ridiculous monthly fees for .... fonts!!

Very simple format that can be surprisingly difficult to use. It's just buggy, often I have to start over or force quit the app a few times before I can finish an image. Only a handful of fonts and tons of ads with the free version but I wouldn't pay money for this. Overall, I am able to place text over pictures, so there's that.

When I first downloaded it, it worked great. But now, all of a sudden, the color text won’t work. I know how to use it. It was working fine before. But now it just doesn’t register when I try to change my text color. I’ve looked through every single setting, and there is no reason for this to have stopped working.

Worked for something I needed to do on the fly. Only problem is that I would suggest copying colors from an image then extending those colors to cover certain parts of an image so that it looks like it was there. So like crop it in a form of a rectangle or something.

To much things are locked behind premium packs, I know you need to make money but I wouldn’t pay for a text effect app if I could use another app. You only get like 15 free fonts and one sticker pack clear full of unicorns and love related things, I will re-install and give better rating if things change

I don’t understand this app. As soon as I crop the photo, before doing anything else, it changes it to a bad quality image. The result of anything I try I to do with this app is a low quality image.
Is this because it’s the free version? I’m not going to pay for the pro version when I can’t use the free version to decide if I like it or not.

Okay, just wanted to add a single word, how in heck do you save it back? Tried everything. I don’t want to forward, just “label” pictures. Open/type/save is all I need. No save useless.
I see, save as draft saves a duplicate without any indication of text and out of order. Yep. Useless for my needs see above. Really tried.

I’ve messaged the makers of this app several time since my latest iPhone update about an issue. I’ve use this app thousands of time and loved it until it stopped working. Now all I can do is use white lettering. I’ll be happy to change this review if you will fix it, otherwise I’m canceling my subscription in on week.

Do not waste your money on this very minimal, but somehow very expensive app. Instead use Power Point, which is free and does way more than this app does. Also, given what a rip-off this app is, it’s also unlikely to be around much longer, while Power Point will be around forever.

I used to LOVE this app and used it all the time! The newest update has completely changed the app and made it horrible.
The font selection is awful now, and even though I don't mind paying extra for font packages I like, the selection is worse than when they were all free. I also hate that any link or email is automatically is bright blue.
The app also constantly crashes halfway through a project and I have to start all over. Useless!
I have deleted the app and is using a different one now.

Every time I pick a photo to put text on it, it blurs/lowers the quality of the photo. So frustrating. Also it doesn’t let you just crop the way you want which I didn’t like at all, you have to pick from their size choices.

I used this app for less than 5 minutes and was shown about 1-dozen full-screen ads, both images and videos. with the videos, there was a countdown timer until you could close the video.
Furthermore, the app itself does not have a very nice/modern UI design. App removed.

The app worked pretty well up until the most recent “update”. What does update was, was adding advertisements and commercials to the app.Not only did it ring annoying advertisements, it also brought a bunch of glitches. The very thing they claimed the update was to get rid of. I originally have the paid version of this program, and decided it was not worth the money. Now the free version is not worth keeping either.

...Unless you don’t mind having white as the only option for text color. I considered paying for one month to use all the features, but I noticed that I can’t change the text color. I change the font just fine, I can even change the color of the shadow, but for whatever reason it won’t let me pick a color. I’d understand if it was a premium option (I’d be upset, but I’d understand), but nowhere is that indicated. Without knowing if color selection is behind a paywall, i have to assume the app is buggy and I don’t want to gamble $5 on an app that doesn’t work. Two stars because it’s “functional” in the literal sense. Download it if you want to make a quick meme, but don’t pay a dime until you know exactly what you’re getting.

When I first downloaded it, it worked great. But now, all of a sudden, the color text won’t work. I know how to use it. It was working fine before. But now it just doesn’t register when I try to change my text color. I’ve looked through every single setting, and there is no reason for this to have stopped working.

I’ve had this app for several years when you could purchase what fonts you wanted to purchase for a one time price it was my favorite app then iOS update happened & now I don’t have any color text & missing some of the fonts I’ve always had very disappointed I do graphics for a child loss support group & I’ve tried other apps but not any as easy to use as this I’ve deleted & re downloaded it again but nothing helps

I’ve messaged the makers of this app several time since my latest iPhone update about an issue. I’ve use this app thousands of time and loved it until it stopped working. For 2 days, this app started malfunctioning on my iPad and phone. I tried everything I could think of to fix the problem. I could not get a response! Prior to that, I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it is still not working correctly. I need a text app, and I really liked this one. However, I had to install another text program as I need this daily in my photo work. I do not like the other text app as much as I liked this one. I am hoping maybe the company will see this review and contact me. If not, I guess they do not need my business.

After ios 14 update, I limited the photos the app could access in my albums & suddenly, I could no longer change the color of text & it started glitching overall. Seems they just want access to all of your pics and to charge ridiculous monthly fees for .... fonts!!

I love it; it’s intuitive and has a variety of options for the text you want to add. The only thing I couldnt figure out is if I can make an outline of a different color for the letters (I ended up just changing the color of the shadow to create half the effect 😅)

Every time I pick a photo to put text on it, it blurs/lowers the quality of the photo. So frustrating. Also it doesn’t let you just crop the way you want which I didn’t like at all, you have to pick from their size choices.

I don’t understand this app. As soon as I crop the photo, before doing anything else, it changes it to a bad quality image. The result of anything I try I to do with this app is a low quality image.

I need to identify every person in every photo which is why I got this app. When I add text to the photo for the first person it works great, but for every additional person I have to add text to, the text comes out gigantic; I have to make it smaller, which isn’t easy because it doesn’t stay stable and becomes crooked easily, to the point where I simply give up because I can find no way to correct it. Why does that happen? Why can’t it come out the same size every time? I really wanted it to work out, but it is useless to me the way it is.

Handsome one. It’s amazing because it has 3D Tool that stretches as far as my imagination lets me. There are so many fonts and stickers, I’ll say that it is the best text app i ever used. I can preview every filters and font in the selection window. Resize, move, delete easily, etc. Add stroke and background color whatever I want!!

...Unless you don’t mind having white as the only option for text color. I considered paying for one month to use all the features, but I noticed that I can’t change the text color. I change the font just fine, I can even change the color of the shadow, but for whatever reason it won’t let me pick a color. I’d understand if it was a premium option (I’d be upset, but I’d understand), but nowhere is that indicated. Without knowing if color selection is behind a paywall, i have to assume the app is buggy and I don’t want to gamble $5 on an app that doesn’t work. Two stars because it’s “functional” in the literal sense. Download it if you want to make a quick meme, but don’t pay a dime until you know exactly what you’re getting.

I use this app to put my signature on all of my professional photos as well as add inspirational quotes. I appreciate that the app is even out there. My only issue is with your latest update.
After I type my caption, the small circle on the bottom right corner used to size and manipulate the text stays stuck. I have to continually tap it attempting to either swivel the text or reduce the size of the text.
This wasn't a problem before the update. I had to lower my original 5 star rating to 4 stars. When this is rectified, I will gladly return you to your well deserved 5 stars.

If I remember correctly, this product for pro version is a subscription. This is really too bad. Really sad that you jumped on board with all the other losers sucking money from people. Seriously you have next to nothing for maintenance and from what I see, your not doing a lot of development. Your logistics cost is next to zero. While I enjoy the simplistic functions of your application, the subscription is NOT WORTH IT! Most applications you just pay the base charge; say WINDOWS, WORD, EXCEL, Lotus, and the list goes on. Not to mention all the options from the AppStore. Even Apple OSX is free and their development is way more extensive than your little-bitty-application
Unless it’s the product is CRITICAL to my operation such as my antivirus, NOBODY and I mean NOBODY scams me and extorts money Via a pointless subscription.
You really should rethink your model.
Anyone looking for a better deal without the subscription , use the Adobe Suite. Search in the App Store for PS Express, Photoshop Fix, and Photoshop Mix. You will need create an ID with Adobe but these apps are very cool and also adds text to photo and stickers.

The color feature stopped working on my 11 after the IOS 14 update 2-3 months ago, and just recently stopped working on my 8...and I purposely didn’t do the iOS update on my 8 so the color feature would continue to work. Apple said that you haven’t updated your system in almost 3 years for this app. The color feature is very important to me. BLB💕

It’s ok, most of the problem I have with it are the constant full screen ads and the lack of fonts available with the free version. I haven't used it in awhile, but I was ok with the ads because I had a ton of font choices. Now, though, the balance of ads to available free fonts is waaay off and it makes my unhappy. I would consider a one-time $5.00 purchase to get access to the fonts, but no way is it worth $5 every month to get full access. That’s just silly.

Annoying ads - on every fifth step it pops up.
Asks for app review before export is done... unnerving.
Should let you copy a text piece then paste and edit text, to keep same color and style. Almost impossible to match text colors.
Also (big issue!) it should retain most recently used shadow, color, font usage to match new text pieces. Instead you have to re-select settings every time. PLEASE FIX. Easy to fix.
But you got to chill out on the adware! If I say no to the first one, I'm going to say NO to the second third fourth and fifth every 20 seconds.
If people have a bad experience with the free version they're not gonna want to upgrade

After sizing and positioning your text, it would be really nice to have a "one tap" option to straighten it. Otherwise, I have a really hard time straightening my text. I bought a font package and couldn’t wait to try it out. But I noticed that the fonts are a bit blurry and not as crystal clear as it should be. Another problem is how there is a blackened shadow or haze when you use the fonts! If I would have known this, I wouldn’t have spent my money. Another issue, is the overwhelming number of ads. Sorry but I don’t recommend!

This used to be the best add text to photos app I’d ever seen. It was simple to use and with a small one time fee you could have all the fonts you could ever want. But now it’s more complex to use and you have to pay a monthly 5 dollar fee if you want to have any fonts beside the basic ones that are free.

Very simple format that can be surprisingly difficult to use. It's just buggy, often I have to start over or force quit the app a few times before I can finish an image. Only a handful of fonts and tons of ads with the free version but I wouldn't pay money for this. Overall, I am able to place text over pictures, so there's that.

Worked for something I needed to do on the fly. Only problem is that I would suggest copying colors from an image then extending those colors to cover certain parts of an image so that it looks like it was there. So like crop it in a form of a rectangle or something.

To much things are locked behind premium packs, I know you need to make money but I wouldn’t pay for a text effect app if I could use another app. You only get like 15 free fonts and one sticker pack clear full of unicorns and love related things, I will re-install and give better rating if things change
Makes photo look bad???

I don’t understand this app. As soon as I crop the photo, before doing anything else, it changes it to a bad quality image. The result of anything I try I to do with this app is a low quality image.
Is this because it’s the free version? I’m not going to pay for the pro version when I can’t use the free version to decide if I like it or not.

Okay, just wanted to add a single word, how in heck do you save it back? Tried everything. I don’t want to forward, just “label” pictures. Open/type/save is all I need. No save useless.
I see, save as draft saves a duplicate without any indication of text and out of order. Yep. Useless for my needs see above. Really tried.

Nice but it would be better if you charged for the entire app upfront instead of having almost everything having to be purchased internally. Sorry In can’t afford this if I could I would use it

I’ve messaged the makers of this app several time since my latest iPhone update about an issue. I’ve use this app thousands of time and loved it until it stopped working. Now all I can do is use white lettering. I’ll be happy to change this review if you will fix it, otherwise I’m canceling my subscription in on week.

Do not waste your money on this very minimal, but somehow very expensive app. Instead use Power Point, which is free and does way more than this app does. Also, given what a rip-off this app is, it’s also unlikely to be around much longer, while Power Point will be around forever.

This app is great!! I use it make to make fansigns and lots of other useful stuff! But, the only problem is I can only access one page of stickers! Every other page is just loading screens and that reallllly stinks! :(

I used to LOVE this app and used it all the time! The newest update has completely changed the app and made it horrible.
The font selection is awful now, and even though I don't mind paying extra for font packages I like, the selection is worse than when they were all free. I also hate that any link or email is automatically is bright blue.
The app also constantly crashes halfway through a project and I have to start all over. Useless!
I have deleted the app and is using a different one now.

Every time I pick a photo to put text on it, it blurs/lowers the quality of the photo. So frustrating. Also it doesn’t let you just crop the way you want which I didn’t like at all, you have to pick from their size choices.
On my way to find a new app that lets you put text on your pictures.

I used this app for less than 5 minutes and was shown about 1-dozen full-screen ads, both images and videos. with the videos, there was a countdown timer until you could close the video.
Furthermore, the app itself does not have a very nice/modern UI design. App removed.

I’ve used this app seamlessly for a couple years. But since the latest update, its lost the ability to change font color, and the text I type in the text-entry screen does not always even show up in the text box.
