It’s a difficult website to use, is not user or member friendly and doesn’t seem to “remember” you as a user. Been flying Frontier for a few years. You get what you pay for. I am flying 4 of us round trip to Tampa for $464. I’d do it again!

I just need the app for checking in and getting boarding passes but the landing screen is sales focused and I have to decline endless upsell screens and several steps to trying to push me to spend money. I already bought the ticket I want and it’s really annoying to be harassed to spend additional money AND upsell option boxes are already checked making it easy to assume it’s a default and trick customers into inadvertently purchasing extras they don’t want or need

I am happy to say I enjoyed my flight from Trenton to Fort Lauderdale. The flight was prompt and arrived on time. The takeoff was smooth as was the landing. This was a Friday 11:00am flight and Compliments to the Pilot and his crew! Thank you!

Horrible website- hard to use. Could not print out boarding passes. Nickel and dime everything. Try adding one bag 10 minutes after making reservations- charged an extra $8.00 each bag. MAKE SURE YOU GET SEATS BOTH WAYS. If you inadvertently reserve seats BOTH ways,you get charged extra.

Times out fast. Doesn’t block combos with no flights, generates pointless no-flight results. No option like Kayak to search nearby airports too, makes fare comparisons take unnecessary time.

I realize they discount flights but by the time they nickel and dime you for ever little thing you need (ie baggage, seat charges, carry ons and even WATER) it costs more than southwest or any other better airline! We had to cancel our return flight due to extenuating circumstances and they tried to charge me. No refund no credit of any kind. They actually wanted me to pay not to fly!!! Never again will we use FRONTIER 👎🏻

Boarded plane in North Carolina for Las Vegas sat on the plane for close to 2 hours to be told that the flight had been cancelled because the pilot would go over his flying hours. Was told that another pilot would be here in 15-20 minutes to take us to Vegas after waiting over an hour we were informed that the flight was cancelled. Called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do for us and to talk to the person at the service desk. Was told to go pick our luggage up but when I went to do that I was told that once I got my luggage that I had to leave the airport.
Carry-on luggage fees

I was completely caught off guard with the carry-on luggage fees when checking in for my flight. When I called the customer service line I was pretty much told too bad. If I wasn’t soo close to my departure date I would have cancelled my flight and gone with a more reputable airline. I have never had to pay theses fees with other airlines and I am completely appalled. I am in the travel/leisure/hospitality industry and can tell you with certainty I will NEVER travel via Frontier again and be sure to tell my colleagues of my experience.

All my flights here were delayed. Got nothing from all the staff and almost all of them are rude when we’ll just ask something about the delayed flight. Be empathetic.

The website is an easy way to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, there is virtually no way to correct an entry. After making an error, I contacted Frontier. The initial agent I got a hold of did not understand the issue, did not understand the language, and did not want to help. The second agent cited policies and then said they wouldn’t apply but would give us a credit, but never modify the website. After 46 minutes, trying the website and going through two operators who were confrontational, did not communicate well, and we’re not willing to understand, I did get the problem fixed with the third person. It was a simple issue but frontier made it very hard. Disappointing

This app doesn’t retain changes well within an account. For example, I marked one credit card as default, but it brought up the other credit card first in a list. There was no way to name one card or another. They both just showed as Visa. Partner travel profile information was not saved.

Never in my life has it been so difficult to sign into an account! I have spent the passed hour trying to sign into my account with no success! Every time I reset my password and type in the new password it says I can’t use the previous password (the one it said was the incorrect password) I have gone through several passwords at this point following the password instructions, taking my time to ensure I am typing it in correctly just for it to continuously say unable to login !!!! I am very tech savvy, I work for a tech company so I know how to sign into apps and accounts! I have never been so frustrated, at this point I just want to cancel my flight and be done with this mess altogether!

Works as it should, lots of upsell when booking, but thats ok, since the tix are so. This is my second time using them, had some delays on my OG flight other than that, flight was fine. I will continue to use Frontier, its a discount airline, but it feels just like all my expensive flights, maybe even better
Never Use Frontier

Frontier does not take care of you. So, if you want to have a ridiculous experience travel experience go with this airline. Here is my story: I had flight at 10.46 am and I was at the baggage check in at 9.30 am, the attendants there just talking together and not working, so they took too long to check my baggage. By the I time I went to gate was 10.30 am because of their employe’s late process on baggage by that time gate was already closed and they denied me to get on. Finally plane departed at 10.41 am even it was scheduled for 10.46 am. They told me that they do not partner with any other airline to get me on and only option was to get another at same time tomorrow. I got the boarding pass for next day. Again next day, they delayed for 5 hours and finally cancelled the flight. I was eneded up returning back to same hotel that I stayed earlier. And they didn’t take care of any hotel costs at all. They put me on the another plane next night at 9.37 pm through another connecting city with 8 hours of delay. So, for total 4 hours flight I lost my 4 days. This is my life event. If I had control and authority I would shut this airline. Please do not travel with Frontier at all.

At Denver airport, app said flight was delayed, and boarding would begin at 10:54pm. I was at the gate so I sat down until shortly before the boarding was going to begin. Then the app deletes that message, there were no announcements on the intercom, and the plane has departed. Don’t count on the app, it’s not reliable!

Would take my card despite no issues with payment. Kept saying card was declined. Finally used my boyfriends card and it took it said the payment had been submitted 3 times, twice on my card so now I’m off so see if we just got triple charged. Awful experience

I believe Frontier is trying to improve their ease of use, yet more improvements still need to happen. I began on my computer for hours and the flight would constantly change price. Afterwards, I decided to book my trip and it said the flight was no longer available. Then I used my mobile app to schedule a flight. Hopefully with this information Frontier will make much needed changes for the better ease of use for everyone.

I am an elite at frontier and has Denver deals with them. I fly every week to Denver from Vegas since I work in Denver and live in Vegas. It is summer and so my son comes with me now. I tried their kids fly free nd it is a big CON. It is a lie. It was never free and I still pay same amount like buying an adult airfare for him. Disgusting and now I know why southwest tag line was “TRANSPARENCY” because Frontier was never truthful to their consumer. Thank you very much! Lu.
Ridiculous Bags

Frontier, your charging for bags is ridiculously insulting! When initially booking my flight, the cost of bags was $30 for the first bag and $75 for two bags, not $60 (30+30) but $75 for two! Why? However, when I checked in, the bags increased to $40 for the checked bag and $40 for the carryon. REALLY?!?! Why does it cost more now? Why does it cost so much for bags period! My flight was $203; thank you for that. But my bags were $160! THAT IS INSANE! You guys are ripping passengers off with your bag prices! Heck, charging for bags is a rip off, PERIOD! This is the LAST time I will fly Frontier Airlines. I sure hope the flights turn out to be worth it! SMH while RME ~Ingrid

I try every time I book a flight to join discount den. It never ever works and I have to re enter my information manually (no pop ups to help me out!) so many times I just give up. Your mobile site needs to be user friendly. This has been going on for 2 years. I spent an hour again today with zero success. I almost just flew United. It would have been much easier for $20 more dollars but I was determined to make it work. And in the end epic fail. Why do I need to re enter all of my information manual every time. And the pre fil never ever works for billing. So annoying.

Last night I called Frontier spent 51 minutes waiting for an agent until I FINALLY Hungup. Called for assistance this morning for Web. Support waited another 25 minutes. Spoke to an agent that I could barely understand. Then being put on. Hold for couple of minutes each time, at least 7 times. Now before the payment there should be an area that shows where to insert a past credit there is none on a IPhone., she wanted me to rebook the reservation on my pc but when I got to the price it doubled another problem is the Works price it changes each time from $79 to $98. That isn’t fair. Needless to say I will look elsewhere for future airlines reservations. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

I really struggled to check-in for my first flight, and I’m very tech savvy. The app had mandatory fields greyed out (meaning I couldn’t edit them), but it didn’t allow me to proceed without completing them. The website was equally frustrating - and offered different prices for the same flight / checked bag options. This app is clunky, unfriendly and frustrating. They are far more concerned with upselling you on everything from their bundled package to hotels. I imagine that 90% of people already have a hotel by the time they are checking in (within 24 hours of flying). I have most of the other airline apps, and this is by far the worst.

Our flight was canceled flying out of Lafayette with no explanation. When asking at the desk what happened they said I don’t know. When asking how can I get to my designation they said I don’t know. When I ask if I get a flight on another airline will I get reimbursed they said I don’t know. All I can say is I know I will never fly Frontier again.

Waiting at the gate. Was supposed to start boarding 34 minutes ago. Nobody has boarded. Placards at the gate still say “ on time”. I don’t think so. No communication in the last 25 minutes. 0/10. Last time I ever fly Frontier.

Prior to flying Frontier, I had heard & read many negative reviews. I recently decided to get a first hand experience on a round trip flight from Boston to Denver. My flight to Denver was flawless, while my return flight experienced a 3& minute weather delay,(Southwest, and Jet Blue flights were also delayed). The Frontier personnel were very helpful, and I will be flying Frontier again. If you want a flight without the bells, and whistles,($), I would recommend Frontier whole heartedly.

This app is poorly laid out and difficult to navigate. The devs should look at the Delta app and go for a full redesign on this. It also never pills in my flights automatically; I have to add them with my last name and reservation number.

I wish you would charge me a little bit more money and give me something that I believe is free like extra room, water on the plane preferred seating I pay $20 extra as part of my ticket cost. PR and physiologically it would feel like I’m being treated with care and not like cargo

I’ve been trying to reset my password and have been unable to reset it. Every time I get a new temporary password and go to reset it, I get an error sign and have to resubmit for a new temporary password. It’s been extremely frustrating

Very confused by others positive ratings of this app. Airline experience wasn’t great and this app does nothing special except window you into a phone-friendly view of their website. It doesn’t offer support for Apple wallet or cache any resources locally, like your boarding passes, which is kind of important if none of your planes have WiFi.

The app constantly tries to sell you more services making you think you forgot something. When I booked online, all the same prompts came up and kept making me think I had forgotten stuff. Quite annoying. Pay attention to what you already purchased.

I purchased a ticket to flight from Philadelphia to Houston for today May 27, they didn’t Notify that the flight was canceled until 1 hour before the departure time, it’s inaceptable the guy a the baggage check in only said Houston flight is canceled whit out explanation! I’ll never purchase a flight with you again!! I don’t recommend this company!

Why do flights seem to to Phoenix always seem to be delayed? Have flown with frontier for a few years now but definitely reconsidering this choice as it seems as though the flights are more often then not delayed. Unimpressed with the service provided.

My first flight with Frontier, and it cancels mechanical. Most airlines, if at their fault will rebook you on another airline. But not Frontier. You must purchase to get to your destination. I missed a weekend with son, and Memorial weekend events. I was very disappointed.

I like your app alot! It’s easy to understand and you can easily navigate thru it. I don’t care for the cost of The Bundle. It used to be a great deal but now it’s just wayyy overpriced. I buy the Discount Den and don’t fly enough to justify that $60 so I won’t be renewing that either. Overall we’ve had great experiences on Frontier. Beware that United Airlines ECONOMY ticket ends up costing more because they only allow you to take on a purse. I took my usual carry on that will fit under the seat or overhead but they made me check it because I had purchased an economy ticket. I will say tho United has some newer planes that have gobs of leg room. I couldn’t believe it! Frontier is always easy to get along with concerning my Emotional Support Animal. Haven’t checked in a while on their rules for service animals so that may have changed but so far so good. Each airline has their good and bad - it just depends on your needs but wish it were just that easy. Most of the time your stuck with whoever is flying that direction...I hate layovers.

Some people really don’t like to pay for a carry on bag, neither do I really. The great thing is you can always find a quick trip for a few days and carry a personal bag. That means no waiting in line at the airport and the price is fantastic! My daughter and I took a quick get away that I selected from one of the email deals for less than $200! Total! Round trip for 2 ! You can’t beat that. Even if you need more luggage just buy the bundle that includes carry on , checked bag and premium seats. You will still pay less than other airlines most of the time. JUST Do NOT take a suit case that exceeds the weight or size because you will pay the fine! This cuts down on fuel costs for the plane. I was booked for a trip out of Santa Barbara to Denver then to Chicago. I have a brain injury and had wheel chair assistant due to my injury. Our flight was delayed for 6 hours at Santa Barbara which is were my daughter lives. I was going to reschedule my flight but was given a phone number to the hotel. This with the airport assistant made me feel comfortable enough to continue my travel. At the Denver airport was when we were told there was going to be no hotel. Thank God one other person was in the same situation as I was. My assistant took me to McDonald’s for food then took me to our gate. So from 11:00 PM till our fight at 6:30Am I was left with a stranger. We slept on the floor for a few hours. I was afraid to leave for food the next morning. Needless to say I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication about no hotel. My safety wasn’t a concern of your airline. My back still hurts after two days. I hope after this review your company will take others with disabilities into consideration before making decisions that could put them in a potentially dangerous situation.

At the checkin there was a male and I am assuming he was from Jamaica who was very impatient with us. We had even got our bags to the checkin before he was asking for our boarding passes and I’d cards. He stated that the boarding passes we had (which we printed the day before) would not work and through our boarding passes in the trash and after we presented our I’d cards proceeded to print out new boarding passes and our baggage claim tickets. The flight personnel and cabin crew where not friendly at all and continuously knocked my shoulders (which where wider than the sear backs) every time they came by and hit my right leg which I had placed on the outside of the seat in front of me as I had a brace on that leg and did say excuse me or I’m sorry the whole time that they hit my leg or my shoulder. By the way and I didn’t tell them but I have undergone reverse shoulder surgery on both of my shoulders/arms and I really don’t expect to get hit every time they pass me

We arrived at the airport at 5:15 for our 7:15 flight. After two delays we received a text message from the company that the flight had been canceled. 35 minutes later an employee finally came out to announce the cancellation. As we started asking questions like “will we get our money back” or “do you have any more flights going out we can get on” each time a piece of paper was picked up and shaken in our faces and were told to read the paper just like everyone else. Worst service ever!!!!!! We were all states away from home with no where to go and no help from frontier. And our refund could be expected within two weeks. All I could think of is how I hoped everyone there could find funds to purchase another ticket to where they were going. Because last minute tickets are crazy expensive. I will never fly frontier again!!!! They gave me a $100 voucher off my next flight with them but I’ll never use it!!!

I had a great experience boarding at Cleveland traveling to Orlando. This was a first flight ever for my older sister and her 13 year old daughter. The frontier experience was 5 star! One of your employees really stood out to me prior to our boarding his name is Robert. He was friendly and informative along with his coworker I'm sorry I didn't get her name she is Asian and a friendly professional. Also the flight attendant was relaxed and thorough in his care of all on board. The pilot was top notch as we had to be rerouted and experienced turbulence due to weather. The rest of my traveling party have made the flight experience before but this was the first time with frontier. We will fly and recommend frontier! Thank you for a happy safe memorable travel experience!

I find the site frustrating. You always seem to put the stupid overnight flight first and it is confusing. The last thing I want to do is spend the night in the Denver airport to save money! Post the shortest fastest flights first. In selecting the country I live the USA is at the bottom? I’m quite sure most of the people booking your flights 80% or better are from the US? Put US at top and then list other countries. Your scrolling for date on cc is weird. Numbers are out of line. Crooked? Instead of drop down arrows for the bags I’m carrying why don’t you have boxes to check for one or two with price. I have to keep pressing your cute little arrows to find all of your fees and charges. It’s already ridiculous to pay what all airlines charge for bags. Why don’t you at least speed up the pain with more user friendly push and click boxes. You asked!

There are so many problems with this website though it has made some improvement. I almost signed out without buying my baggage and seat on the return flight. Nothing to cue me there. I was looking for the return option and had to go back to find it. Then, of course, my updated phone no. Did not stick and I had to re-enter it. In addition, there seem to be 3 profiles for my name depending on caps vs small case-none of which match. That’s not good. Data bases are not melded and add to confusion. Data base errors seem to be the biggest problem on Frontier sites. Unfortunately the customers are putting in that data and your computer does not recognize duplicate info. Big problem.

My regular size backpack which is considered a personal item for Spirit Airlines and which fits under the seat on spirit is considered a carry-on ; only a child size backpack is considered a personal item for Frontier. So I ended up choosing their bundle under their perks option for $74 through my computer online which oddly they wanted to charge more money for the bundle through the app on my phone. The perks bundle included a carry-on and a checked bag, a choice in seats and priority boarding. I received a receipt that showed I paid for it but the boarding pass on line through my computer and through the app on my phone both showed that all I paid for was my seat. If it shows the same thing in the morning I’m going to have to check in with the desk and have that straightened out...This is very frustrating. I didn’t think this could happen but they actually make spirit look good.

It took me an hour to figure out how to purchase bags on this app and the website (yes, I tried both). The instructions told me to click “Add Baggage” but that option was greyed out and not click-able. I basically ended up clicking random things until it worked. I had to go through the same adds about purchasing other “perks” about 5 million times before I could even purchase what I needed to purchase, and once I got there, the buttons wouldn’t work. I would click and nothing would happen. I fly Southwest regularly for cheaper, AND I get two free checked bags and two free carry-ons. Plus, to change my flight, Frontier charges $400-$500. Southwest charges nothing. What Frontier charges $90 for and calls “perks”, Southwest calls normal and what I already paid for in my airfare. And Southwest’s flights are still usually cheaper, once you consider all of Frontier’s fees. I will never be flying Frontier again.

These reviews are supposed to be for the app and not for the airline. There are a lot of clueless reviewers that don’t understand the basic cheap no-frills airline that Frontier is. Fares and additional charges are clearly posted. In fact it is annoying to have to dismiss the options before finishing a purchase. If you are unable to read and comprehend, that’s your problem. It gets me from Point A to Point B for CHEAP. The app is efficient, well laid out, not cluttered and responsive. Kudos to the developers. A couple of features I would like to see added are: (1) The ability to save frequent routes and (2) Fare alerts when prices for particular routes/dates drop.

Just to let you know I fly frontier all the time.I left a review once before that somebody had taken my phone from the airplane as soon as I got outside the corridor I realized that I left my phone behind. It was left in the pocket of the seat in front of me and I was in aisle 25. So I figure the only person that would have found her phone was that lady from the front of the gate that I told her that I love the phone behind and she went back to get it or the cleaning Stewert s that was up in front of the plane. It was a brand new phone just got a cheeseburger. In any case one of them took it and nobody replied back Thanks Adrian Besu

As I am sitting here waiting for my flight, which has been delayed for a third time now (for a total of 5 hours), the prompt came up asking me to review “Frontier.” If I’m reviewing the app, it’s fine. The airline, however, is awful. This will be my 3rd Frontier flight, and 2 of the 3 have had major delays, and that is consistent with experiences of other passengers here and friends/family members, who warned me not to book through Frontier. Their seats are probably the most uncomfortable of any airline that I’ve experienced, and they nickel and dime you for everything, so the savings by booking through this discount airline are not as great as you would expect in the end. If you have an option of another airline, do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration of Frontier. One star is frankly a generous rating for their “service”, but they didn’t have a zero star option.

Last night I called Frontier spent 51 minutes waiting for an agent until I FINALLY Hungup. Called for assistance this morning for Web. Support waited another 25 minutes. Spoke to an agent that I could barely understand. Then being put on. Hold for couple of minutes each time, at least 7 times. Now before the payment there should be an area that shows where to insert a past credit there is none on a IPhone., she wanted me to rebook the reservation on my pc but when I got to the price it doubled another problem is the Works price it changes each time from $79 to $98. That isn’t fair. Needless to say I will look elsewhere for future airlines reservations. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

I spent over 3 hours trying to talk to someone about them overcharging me $100 for luggage. The first frustration came when we weren’t able to click on luggage icon. After attempting to do this using various technology, we called. It took 20 minutes to finally get to talk to someone. We were told we could check in 2 bags for $30 each. After receiving my credit card bill and seeing one charge for $76 and another for $80 I tried to call and visit with an agent. After finally getting to talk to a real person, the lady stated that they can’t refund luggage payments. REALLY??? It was their error overcharging me!! By this time I was frustrated and asked to talk to supervisor. She put me on hold and after 45 minutes of waiting, I hung up. Tried to contact someone again, I was listening to elevator music for 33 minutes before giving up. I will NEVER fly Frontier again.

For some reason only charged me for part of my reservation, wouldn’t let me check in until I paid the rest, kept clicking to make payment and it kept bringing me in circles. Called the customer service number and it never lets you speak to someone personally and keeps directing you to their AWFUL website. I had to google how to speak to some one directly and you have to SAY “feedback and concerns” and that was the only option that allowed me to speak to someone directly. Don’t select a seat because you have one reserved already for you and the pricing is extra (once again more fees). The guy in the phone Jason had the patience of a Saint because he had to wait with me as the website kept taking us in circles. I will gladly pay extra to never fly this airline again, not worth the hassle and stress to save a few dollars after all the fees.

I’ve already wasted well over 1.5 hours of my work day so I’ll keep this simple. My DOB wasn’t correct. As anyone halfway intelligent knows, it’s imperative your flight info matches your ID. Called to get it corrected. Got transferred to 3 different people (2 of which were managers), all of them had me do the same things over and over. Didn’t work any of the attempts. Still isn’t correct in my profile. I have no idea what to do and am just taking a chance this doesn’t affect me boarding for my flight. I also booked a flight through a third party. The third party didn’t give me the ability to select my seat or add a bag so Frontier was “nice” enough to charge me an inflated fee to do so through their website. Do not expect good customer service or intelligent help if you call Frontier for assistance.

I bought a plane ticket to go to my best friend’s wedding and I paid for insurance because I know sometimes things come up. The week before I was supposed to go, my cousin passed away, so I decided to stay home for her funeral. I asked for a refund, and they said I needed to provide a death certificate. I did, and they still didn’t give me my money back. I thought it was so insensitive— I paid for insurance and provided the death certificate and they still took my money. Another thing— I forgot my password for the account and kept requesting a link to my email for a new password, and they said it sent but I never got anything. I checked my inbox and my spam and got nothing from them. So I couldn’t log into my account. I tried calling their 24 hour phone service and never had anyone answer my call. Please do not use this company, I really wish I hadn’t.

So. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband booked his flight several weeks ago. He drove 3hours to the airport for a flight for a chance at a job in Denver. He had an orientation class. Thanks to the "policy" he didn't get his flight, probably lost the job, and we may not get refunded the tickets. Due to traffic at the airport he reached the ticket counter three minutes into the "hour before flight". They argued with him about getting his ticket. He could see the terminal and the gate from the counter. This put him five minutes "into the hour" so they wouldn't let him get his ticket and go through security. He explained this was a job orientation at 9am, but they offered a flight "tomorrow". When he requested a manager the manager CONTINUED to argue with him. After this put him well "into the hour" he finally asked for a refund. They refused. So we have to contact corporate for it (fat chance there) and he's probably lost the job because of this. Thank you for helping to continue to keep our family split because this job would finally have helped us get a home again. We will never use your "services" (if you can call it that) again. We will also make sure to let everyone we know to never attempt to fly with you.

Cheapest flights, I just got a one way trip from Florida to New York for 24$! A week before the flight date. Awesome. Do know, it isn’t luxury flying you pay for what you get; no free snacks or drinks, no tv, no reclining chairs, no tv. But who cares on a two hour flight? But I was comfortable enough on my flight and didn’t mind buying a water bottle and brought my own snacks and entertainment. This is the best way to travel back and forth from Florida for me. Also phone support, and all flight crew are some of the friendliest I’ve dealt with while flying. Thank you Frontier! You’ve got yourself a life long customer.

I tried to create account. It refused my password and indicated I didn’t follow the rules of creating a password, when I did! So I tried to start over and I got the same error message. I did this a few times to be absolutely sure I did everything right and followed their rules to the letter. I still got the same error message! So I tried to setup a new profile, and all that did was lock me out. I am usually very good about signing up for sites/apps, so I asked for help from a fellow computer person, much like myself, and they had the same experience. It should not take an hour to sign up! ...and I still do not have my boarding pass. I must assume low fares and confusion go hand in hand. Nope, I have no desire to use Frontier again, after this. Low fares should not be synonymous with having issues with the website.

The website is an easy way to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, there is virtually no way to correct an entry. After making an error, I contacted Frontier. The initial agent I got a hold of did not understand the issue, did not understand the language, and did not want to help. The second agent cited policies and then said they wouldn’t apply but would give us a credit, but never modify the website. After 46 minutes, trying the website and going through two operators who were confrontational, did not communicate well, and we’re not willing to understand, I did get the problem fixed with the third person. It was a simple issue but frontier made it very hard. Disappointing

Both the web and the app are wildly misleading...you have to call to get one of their reps to "update" your "contact" info before you can do anything, even with a paid reservation. If you don't call and speak to someone, you'll never be able to select a seat or enter a known traveler number. What's the point of having an app OR a website? Unrelated to the app: Once you're done paying for the seat, there is little to no savings on the ticket and not at all worth the frustration. Flight itself is similar to any other airline experience. Don't be fooled by the hype about paying for carry ons: nobody looked twice at our personal items, they could have easily been full sized carry ons. Glad I didn't pay for that upgrade.

This app works better than trying to check in online or trying to check in at the little kiosks at the airports. One day, I almost missed my flight because the online and kiosk wouldn’t work so I was told I had to stand in line and talk to an agent to print my ticket. The line was sooo long and I knew there was no way I’d make the flight if I waited there but thank god for this app!! I went on it and it let me check in and gave Me my ticket so I didn’t have to wait for an agent!! Made my flight just in time! Easy to use, clean and well designed app!!

This is my second experience with Frontier; the first wasn't good but this time was excellent. Easy to find want I want, prices very acceptable and accessible and the most important, the site is very easy to navigate through. The only thing that I have to mention is about some attendant; the tone of the voice during the flight was too loud; is hard to take a nap or read. I have to mention as well, that they were very friendly and helpful during the boarding when I need help with my carry-on luggage. So far, I’m planning to keep flying to Atlanta with this airline.

Do not fly frontier airlines because they had us delayed from Denver International Airport to The Dallas airport 3 TIMES. So it all started on October 25,2018 that night in the afternoon we got delayed then once we got there there was a gate change and then another gate change then another gate change then we boarded the airplane and the capitan oxygen if we got a oxygen problem then we went out the gate then we pulled up back to the same gate and had to a new gate because the airplane couldn’t take off then we were boarding then there was a boarding problem then we had to wait another 15 min then we started boarding again then they needed oxygen again for the captains then we took off. We took of at 1 or 12 then we got to the Dallas airport at 4:00.😞

Excelent airline. If you can save money this is your airline. People always talk about free bags and service but if you want all of this look for other airline. With frontier you pay for what you receive. Im not saying that they dont provide service, if you read all of the information that they provide its exactly what you get. You have to read. I like it because they offers me great itinerary flights, its cheap, always send me offers. Im from Puerto Rico and when the Huraccaine Maria came on Sept 2017 I flight with frontier in October for $59. Im happy for using this airline.

Rating has nothing to do with app. I hate the “upswell” tactics of frontier beyond belief..... here is an advertised cheap flight.....oh you expected normal accommodations like a carryon bag and picking your seat at check in.....that’s going to double your cost of ticket and that’s only if you buy it in a bundle with a checked bag.....check your bag now or get charged more.....we are military and per info on the site get all of that stuff for free....even after opting out still being prompted really really grinds my gears.....I said no. In so frustrated that frointier is a budget airline and really after you buy normal accommodations it’s maybe $20 than delta aa United. It bothers me that the customer base is built on a lie and then charging what a real airline is for 2nd rate service. /end rant

Booked 6 months in advance, paid for specific seating, received confirmation. Received emails of flight number and time change but not that we were kicked out of our stretch seating that we paid extra for which were right in front of the party we were traveling with. We found out when checking in for our flight that we had no seats. No notifications from Frontier that we did not have the paid for and confirmed seats we were initially told we had. Frontier customer service had no good answers, only excuses. Until I continued to pressure the supervisor did I get seats even close to our party yet still ended up in tight seating on the opposite side of the plane. Also no seats for the return flight. Grrr. BEWARE confirmation with Frontier means nothing.

This is my first time flying with Frontier and I’m hoping the flight home is better that my flight in. When it was time to board the scanner was down and there was only 1 person who had to manually look up every passenger. She was very slow and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. She was also very rude. Once on the plane I thought ok here we go. Nope I look out the window and they are just now loading the luggage. Might I add there were only 2 people working. 2 hours later we finally took off. Our flight was supposed to land at like 11 am it was 2pm before we got to our destination. I have flown many many times and I have never had this much trouble. So I’m hoping the flight home is much better.

Showed up for my 8am flight out of Providence to TAMPA, people at checkin where GONE. 5 family’s got stuck paying $30 MORE to switch the ticket to a 5pm flight. No apologies, when I try to have a conversation with the woman behind the counter I asked to speak to a manager conveniently she was in a meeting. And then I was told if I had any further issues they would call the police on me... really?? I will NEVER EVER fly this airline. Spoke to airline security and police and THEY said they have been having MANY issues and they were called to the counter YESTERDAY and Frontier was told by the police officer that they need better customer service!! Horrible experience, stuck at the airport till tonight and have to FLY TO ORLANDO.. 1 1/2 from Home! Never again! #CustomerService!

First time using mobile app and also first time booking using my points. It went very well. My very first experience fraying with frontiers my flight was canceled and I was left stranded in Salt Lake City with my son, whom was traveling with me for work. It was so frustrating and lost a lot of money last Summer. I hv them one more try end of Summer abd was a much better experience leaving out of East coast. Heads back to Salt Lake city for work again, praying I and the others flying in will get in and out ok if weather permits on Feb 28th. “3 is a charm, third flight with the bear!”

You’d think that after all these years, this app would be perfect. But it still can’t handle basics. The app always defaults to my departing airport being in Mexico regardless that my profile states otherwise. Why do I have to keep changing this every time? Why Mexico? Enabling location services should help but makes no difference. It’s clunky and doesn’t handle basics such as pet add on. Dear frontier, look at the American Airlines app and learn. It’s a dream. It’s beautifully designed and I can do everything from tracking my luggage to arrange upgrades to buy meals, to you name it. And all that in a user friendly design. You have no upgrades, no meals and yet, you can’t get an app that defaults to my correct departing airport listed on my profile. Such a shame.

I love the cheap flights etc. I think what would make the experience better is allowing carry-on bags to be free, or at least make it apparent they are free because I've never paid for it and never have been charged. Seems ambiguous. Also, I think customers who purchase tickets way in advance should be able to choose seats without paying extra, especially if you're traveling with another people. Hope you'll take my advice and make changes. Would mean the world to me as a customer!

Frontier made it possible for me and my best friend to fly out in a weeks notice for my birthday. While other airlines sported $400-$600 tickets Frontier was only $100 (with carry on bag prices). The promo codes worked and the app made it a breeze for checking in early and showing our boarded passes. First time flying Frontier and it wasn’t nearly the craziness people made it seem. Just as easy if not easier then Delta and American. Would highly recommend for those looking for a budget friendly fly. Thanks frontier.

I would like to thank the crew of Frontier for going above and beyond great care. I traveled after receiving chemotherapy and surgery on my arm, the crew was so attentive to my needs. My discomfort was apparent and they did everything possible to help with my pain, they provided a snack so my stomach would tolerate my pain medication, they provided ice for my arm and when it was apparent my stomach was going to come up they were quick to bring me a bag to throw up in. I am a Frontier den member. It seems like there are so many empty seats on the flight that I just made a reservation that den members should still be getting the $56 rate for 2 weeks in advance. I’m a little disappointed in this. I’m just thinking is it really worth being a den member and in fact I was just thinking about getting the Frontier credit card but for me to be paying $255 for a Frontier red eye flight doesn’t really feel like a good or fair deal ! Everyone knows Frontier is just terrible. Terrible planes, terrible customer service, terrible fees on top of good airfares. They even required you to have this app to get your mobile boarding pass. But, this app actually turns out to be the best part of the whole company. Clean, easy-to-use, functional- you can even book in-app. It’s surprisingly great. Hopefully you’ll never have to use it (since hopefully you never have to fly Frontier), but if you do you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

I booked my airline way before I found out that I had to work the day after I fly home. what that means is that I am flying out on a Wednesday but I’ve got to work all the way up until Thursday. I tried calling customer service and the lady said oh well that’s not my problem. So basically is I’m out of a round-trip ticket that I cannot use I cannot cancel and I cannot get a refund. Tried calling customer service but they don’t speak very good English. So buyers beware. I had to book 2 different tickets with two different airlines now and it cost me an additional money. Frontier Airline wake up and do what Southwest does. If you’re on unable to make your airline due to medical reasons or working. They give you one year to use your voucher.

This app will not keep you up to date on delays or gate changes. I’ve had both happen to me today with my flight. I’ve used this app several times already and it’s given me trouble with the gate changes before. This time, I’m at the gate it said to go to an hour and a half before departure. I’m waiting, time to depart but nothing is going on. Check my boarding pass on the app, says my gate has changed AND says it’s ON TIME, and NO NOTIFICATIONS. So what do I do? Book it to the new gate, hoping they haven’t left without me. Not only have they not left, even though it said boarding started 40 min prior, the departure time is now two and a half hours later than the original time.

We were going to Vegas on Labor Day and the plane was three hours late. When we finally got on board there was a medical ER. It took about 30 minutes to get back on track. The Pilot said he was over his time limit for the month to fly the plane. We all had to exit the plane . The next flight was 7am the next day. If he was that close to his time limit , they should of another pilot on stand by. It was horrible and the communication was even worst. Very unprofessional.

Bought tickets a couple months ago and find today that I need to pay another $125 to get on plane with luggage, more if i have a carry on. Spent 30 minutes on phone with representative who said bags were $38, not $40 the App was showing. She sent me to site to pay for checked bags but site wouldn’t work so after 30 minutes I ended the call and went back to App, paid another $125 just to get on the same plane I thought I’d already paid for. I’m a Platinum flyer at Delta but I have always enjoyed Frontier and Alaskan but i have never been treated like this, charged like this, given the runaround like this and i am very unlikely to ever fly Frontier again. It has been a horrible experience and we aren’t even to the airport yet.

Sometimes very difficult to book. When you call in for assistance they either want to charge you, don’t have the same fares you see on line or give you a number to call someone else. No considerations for Veterans who don’t have physical scares. Because of my knees, back and left shoulder, it would be so much easier to board after Premium passengers or passengers w/children. Even tho’ I present my DAV card with 30 Years of faithful service to this great Nation, it falls on death ears because I am not in a wheel chair. Sometimes I am slow, and depending on the day can’t lift my bag to put it in the over hang bin, so. It takes me a little longer and folks get frustrated. Because I don’t have any physical scares outside that one can see. I sometimes panic around a lot of people especially when the line is waiting on me to be seated. Can anything be done for me and other Veterans to assist us? Thank you

Frontier recently began its non stop flights between Savannah,Ga & Denver, CO. Everything was perfect except for the very early return flight. Since it is the only one all week, a later flight would have been better. 6:40am is a little too early for since I am a senior citizen & need time to get ready in the morning. I barely got 2 hrs sleep & would not do it again. Otherwise everyone connected with the flight & check in were superb& made the trip excellent. I would recommend flying Frontiers to anyone who doesn’t have a problem with early flights.

The app is okay but it seriously took me 2 entire days and more than a dozen attempts to book our tickets. It kept mixing up mine and my husband’s info and wouldn’t take our flier numbers, deleted his known traveler number. Tried 3 cards before it finally took one. I’m guessing it was because my parents were buying us the tickets as a gift but ultimately I put them in my card bc it wouldn’t take their (assuming not the travelers names so for security). Still it would have been nice if it saved my info so I wouldn’t have to have keep re-entering over and over. I was logged in to my account. But the basic function of what the app should do is nice.

Never in my life has it been so difficult to sign into an account! I have spent the passed hour trying to sign into my account with no success! Every time I reset my password and type in the new password it says I can’t use the previous password (the one it said was the incorrect password) I have gone through several passwords at this point following the password instructions, taking my time to ensure I am typing it in correctly just for it to continuously say unable to login !!!! I am very tech savvy, I work for a tech company so I know how to sign into apps and accounts! I have never been so frustrated, at this point I just want to cancel my flight and be done with this mess altogether!

Can’t purchase my ticket online (several browsers and co outlets) because the required phone number section is greyed out, can’t click. (Phone IS stored in my profile, though.) So I tried the app. Hooray! Phone number autofilled just as the other profile details did! And then enter all my card information 36 times (!!!!!) only to be told repeatedly “Failed to connect to the server and we’re unable to continue. Any changes made will be lost.” Looks like I’ll have to select a different airline despite the fact I’m a Frontier CC holder and have exclusively flown Frontier for a decade now.

Most Airline Apps require some registration process, like an Honors or Mile Rewards Program. Sure it’s nice to have the option, but when I needed my mobile boarding pass, Frontier’s mobile app fully loaded within a fraction of a second, and the app opened without any user registration, without any user login, and my booking pulled up with only my last name and Confirmation Number(letters). Our flight was delayed nearly 9 hours, we were suppose to leave at 2:30 pm and did not end up leaving until 11:00 pm! They first delayed it 1/2 hour then it went to 4pm, then 7:30 pm, then 10:40 pm, if we knew orginally that the flight was not going to leave until 11 at night we could have gone home and then came back, but they kept delaying it further and further as the day went on and there was no one at the desk to communicate with until 6:30 pm. It was the worst experience i ever had flying ever!

I just need the app for checking in and getting boarding passes but the landing screen is sales focused and I have to decline endless upsell screens and several steps to trying to push me to spend money. I already bought the ticket I want and it’s really annoying to be harassed to spend additional money AND upsell option boxes are already checked making it easy to assume it’s a default and trick customers into inadvertently purchasing extras they don’t want or need

Horrible website- hard to use. Could not print out boarding passes. Nickel and dime everything. Try adding one bag 10 minutes after making reservations- charged an extra $8.00 each bag. MAKE SURE YOU GET SEATS BOTH WAYS. If you inadvertently reserve seats BOTH ways,you get charged extra.

I realize they discount flights but by the time they nickel and dime you for ever little thing you need (ie baggage, seat charges, carry ons and even WATER) it costs more than southwest or any other better airline! We had to cancel our return flight due to extenuating circumstances and they tried to charge me. No refund no credit of any kind. They actually wanted me to pay not to fly!!! Never again will we use FRONTIER 👎🏻

Boarded plane in North Carolina for Las Vegas sat on the plane for close to 2 hours to be told that the flight had been cancelled because the pilot would go over his flying hours. Was told that another pilot would be here in 15-20 minutes to take us to Vegas after waiting over an hour we were informed that the flight was cancelled. Called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do for us and to talk to the person at the service desk. Was told to go pick our luggage up but when I went to do that I was told that once I got my luggage that I had to leave the airport.

I was completely caught off guard with the carry-on luggage fees when checking in for my flight. When I called the customer service line I was pretty much told too bad. If I wasn’t soo close to my departure date I would have cancelled my flight and gone with a more reputable airline. I have never had to pay theses fees with other airlines and I am completely appalled. I am in the travel/leisure/hospitality industry and can tell you with certainty I will NEVER travel via Frontier again and be sure to tell my colleagues of my experience.

The website is an easy way to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, there is virtually no way to correct an entry. After making an error, I contacted Frontier. The initial agent I got a hold of did not understand the issue, did not understand the language, and did not want to help. The second agent cited policies and then said they wouldn’t apply but would give us a credit, but never modify the website. After 46 minutes, trying the website and going through two operators who were confrontational, did not communicate well, and we’re not willing to understand, I did get the problem fixed with the third person. It was a simple issue but frontier made it very hard. Disappointing

This app doesn’t retain changes well within an account. For example, I marked one credit card as default, but it brought up the other credit card first in a list. There was no way to name one card or another. They both just showed as Visa. Partner travel profile information was not saved.

Frontier does not take care of you. So, if you want to have a ridiculous experience travel experience go with this airline. Here is my story: I had flight at 10.46 am and I was at the baggage check in at 9.30 am, the attendants there just talking together and not working, so they took too long to check my baggage. By the I time I went to gate was 10.30 am because of their employe’s late process on baggage by that time gate was already closed and they denied me to get on. Finally plane departed at 10.41 am even it was scheduled for 10.46 am. They told me that they do not partner with any other airline to get me on and only option was to get another at same time tomorrow. I got the boarding pass for next day. Again next day, they delayed for 5 hours and finally cancelled the flight. I was eneded up returning back to same hotel that I stayed earlier. And they didn’t take care of any hotel costs at all. They put me on the another plane next night at 9.37 pm through another connecting city with 8 hours of delay. So, for total 4 hours flight I lost my 4 days. This is my life event. If I had control and authority I would shut this airline. Please do not travel with Frontier at all.

At Denver airport, app said flight was delayed, and boarding would begin at 10:54pm. I was at the gate so I sat down until shortly before the boarding was going to begin. Then the app deletes that message, there were no announcements on the intercom, and the plane has departed. Don’t count on the app, it’s not reliable!

I believe Frontier is trying to improve their ease of use, yet more improvements still need to happen. I began on my computer for hours and the flight would constantly change price. Afterwards, I decided to book my trip and it said the flight was no longer available. Then I used my mobile app to schedule a flight. Hopefully with this information Frontier will make much needed changes for the better ease of use for everyone.

I am an elite at frontier and has Denver deals with them. I fly every week to Denver from Vegas since I work in Denver and live in Vegas. It is summer and so my son comes with me now. I tried their kids fly free nd it is a big CON. It is a lie. It was never free and I still pay same amount like buying an adult airfare for him. Frontier, your charging for bags is ridiculously insulting! When initially booking my flight, the cost of bags was $30 for the first bag and $75 for two bags, not $60 (30+30) but $75 for two! Why? However, when I checked in, the bags increased to $40 for the checked bag and $40 for the carryon. REALLY?!?! Why does it cost more now? Why does it cost so much for bags period! My flight was $203; thank you for that. But my bags were $160! THAT IS INSANE! You guys are ripping passengers off with your bag prices! Heck, charging for bags is a rip off, PERIOD! I try every time I book a flight to join discount den. It never ever works and I have to re enter my information manually (no pop ups to help me out!) so many times I just give up. Your mobile site needs to be user friendly. This has been going on for 2 years. I spent an hour again today with zero success. I almost just flew United. It would have been much easier for $20 more dollars but I was determined to make it work. And in the end epic fail. Why do I need to re enter all of my information manual every time. And the pre fil never ever works for billing. So annoying.

Last night I called Frontier spent 51 minutes waiting for an agent until I FINALLY Hungup. Called for assistance this morning for Web. Support waited another 25 minutes. Spoke to an agent that I could barely understand. Then being put on. Hold for couple of minutes each time, at least 7 times. Now before the payment there should be an area that shows where to insert a past credit there is none on a IPhone., she wanted me to rebook the reservation on my pc but when I got to the price it doubled another problem is the Works price it changes each time from $79 to $98. That isn’t fair. Needless to say I will look elsewhere for future airlines reservations. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

I really struggled to check-in for my first flight, and I’m very tech savvy. The app had mandatory fields greyed out (meaning I couldn’t edit them), but it didn’t allow me to proceed without completing them. The website was equally frustrating - and offered different prices for the same flight / checked bag options. This app is clunky, unfriendly and frustrating. They are far more concerned with upselling you on everything from their bundled package to hotels. I imagine that 90% of people already have a hotel by the time they are checking in (within 24 hours of flying). I have most of the other airline apps, and this is by far the worst.

Our flight was canceled flying out of Lafayette with no explanation. When asking at the desk what happened they said I don’t know. When asking how can I get to my designation they said I don’t know. When I ask if I get a flight on another airline will I get reimbursed they said I don’t know. All I can say is I know I will never fly Frontier again.

Prior to flying Frontier, I had heard & read many negative reviews. I recently decided to get a first hand experience on a round trip flight from Boston to Denver. My flight to Denver was flawless, while my return flight experienced a 3& minute weather delay,(Southwest, and Jet Blue flights were also delayed). The Frontier personnel were very helpful, and I will be flying Frontier again. If you want a flight without the bells, and whistles,($), I would recommend Frontier whole heartedly.

This app is poorly laid out and difficult to navigate. The devs should look at the Delta app and go for a full redesign on this. It also never pills in my flights automatically; I have to add them with my last name and reservation number.

I wish you would charge me a little bit more money and give me something that I believe is free like extra room, water on the plane preferred seating I pay $20 extra as part of my ticket cost. PR and physiologically it would feel like I’m being treated with care and not like cargo

I’ve been trying to reset my password and have been unable to reset it. Every time I get a new temporary password and go to reset it, I get an error sign and have to resubmit for a new temporary password. It’s been extremely frustrating

Very confused by others positive ratings of this app. Airline experience wasn’t great and this app does nothing special except window you into a phone-friendly view of their website. It doesn’t offer support for Apple wallet or cache any resources locally, like your boarding passes, which is kind of important if none of your planes have WiFi.

Borders on deception. Pick a seat $, have carry in’s $$, ended up going with another carrier with perks for what it cost after the add ons. He’ll I’ll quit breathing the cabin air, but I’d probably be charged for that. Why don’t you install a pay toilet.

The app constantly tries to sell you more services making you think you forgot something. When I booked online, all the same prompts came up and kept making me think I had forgotten stuff. Quite annoying. Pay attention to what you already purchased.

I purchased a ticket to flight from Philadelphia to Houston for today May 27, they didn’t Notify that the flight was canceled until 1 hour before the departure time, it’s inaceptable the guy a the baggage check in only said Houston flight is canceled whit out explanation! I’ll never purchase a flight with you again!! I don’t recommend this company!

Why do flights seem to to Phoenix always seem to be delayed? Have flown with frontier for a few years now but definitely reconsidering this choice as it seems as though the flights are more often then not delayed. Unimpressed with the service provided.

My first flight with Frontier, and it cancels mechanical. Most airlines, if at their fault will rebook you on another airline. But not Frontier. You must purchase to get to your destination. I missed a weekend with son, and Memorial weekend events. I was very disappointed.

I like your app alot! It’s easy to understand and you can easily navigate thru it. I don’t care for the cost of The Bundle. It used to be a great deal but now it’s just wayyy overpriced. I buy the Discount Den and don’t fly enough to justify that $60 so I won’t be renewing that either. Overall we’ve had great experiences on Frontier. Beware that United Airlines ECONOMY ticket ends up costing more because they only allow you to take on a purse. I took my usual carry on that will fit under the seat or overhead but they made me check it because I had purchased an economy ticket. I will say tho United has some newer planes that have gobs of leg room. I couldn’t believe it! Frontier is always easy to get along with concerning my Emotional Support Animal. Haven’t checked in a while on their rules for service animals so that may have changed but so far so good. Each airline has their good and bad - it just depends on your needs but wish it were just that easy. Most of the time your stuck with whoever is flying that direction...I hate layovers.

Some people really don’t like to pay for a carry on bag, neither do I really. The great thing is you can always find a quick trip for a few days and carry a personal bag. That means no waiting in line at the airport and the price is fantastic! My daughter and I took a quick get away that I selected from one of the email deals for less than $200! Total! Round trip for 2 ! You can’t beat that. Even if you need more luggage just buy the bundle that includes carry on , checked bag and premium seats. You will still pay less than other airlines most of the time. JUST Do NOT take a suit case that exceeds the weight or size because you will pay the fine! This cuts down on fuel costs for the plane. Plain and simple.

I was booked for a trip out of Santa Barbara to Denver then to Chicago. I have a brain injury and had wheel chair assistant due to my injury. Our flight was delayed for 6 hours at Santa Barbara which is were my daughter lives. I was going to reschedule my flight but was given a phone number to the hotel. This with the airport assistant made me feel comfortable enough to continue my travel. At the Denver airport was when we were told there was going to be no hotel. Thank God one other person was in the same situation as I was. My assistant took me to McDonald’s for food then took me to our gate. So from 11:00 PM till our fight at 6:30Am I was left with a stranger. We slept on the floor for a few hours. I was afraid to leave for food the next morning. Needless to say I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication about no hotel. My safety wasn’t a concern of your airline. My back still hurts after two days. I hope after this review your company will take others with disabilities into consideration before making decisions that could put them in a potentially dangerous situation.

At the checkin there was a male and I am assuming he was from Jamaica who was very impatient with us. We had even got our bags to the checkin before he was asking for our boarding passes and I’d cards. He stated that the boarding passes we had (which we printed the day before) would not work and through our boarding passes in the trash and after we presented our I’d cards proceeded to print out new boarding passes and our baggage claim tickets. The flight personnel and cabin crew where not friendly at all and continuously knocked my shoulders (which where wider than the sear backs) every time they came by and hit my right leg which I had placed on the outside of the seat in front of me as I had a brace on that leg and did say excuse me or I’m sorry the whole time that they hit my leg or my shoulder. By the way and I didn’t tell them but I have undergone reverse shoulder surgery on both of my shoulders/arms and I really don’t expect to get hit every time they pass me

We arrived at the airport at 5:15 for our 7:15 flight. After two delays we received a text message from the company that the flight had been canceled. 35 minutes later an employee finally came out to announce the cancellation. As we started asking questions like “will we get our money back” or “do you have any more flights going out we can get on” each time a piece of paper was picked up and shaken in our faces and were told to read the paper just like everyone else. Worst service ever!!!!!! We were all states away from home with no where to go and no help from frontier. And our refund could be expected within two weeks. All I could think of is how I hoped everyone there could find funds to purchase another ticket to where they were going. Because last minute tickets are crazy expensive. I will never fly frontier again!!!! They gave me a $100 voucher off my next flight with them but I’ll never use it!!!

I had a great experience boarding at Cleveland traveling to Orlando. This was a first flight ever for my older sister and her 13 year old daughter. The frontier experience was 5 star! One of your employees really stood out to me prior to our boarding his name is Robert. He was friendly and informative along with his coworker I'm sorry I didn't get her name she is Asian and a friendly professional. Also the flight attendant was relaxed and thorough in his care of all on board. The pilot was top notch as we had to be rerouted and experienced turbulence due to weather. The rest of my traveling party have made the flight experience before but this was the first time with frontier. We will fly and recommend frontier! Thank you for a happy safe memorable travel experience!

I find the site frustrating. You always seem to put the stupid overnight flight first and it is confusing. The last thing I want to do is spend the night in the Denver airport to save money! Post the shortest fastest flights first. In selecting the country I live the USA is at the bottom? I’m quite sure most of the people booking your flights 80% or better are from the US? Put US at top and then list other countries. Your scrolling for date on cc is weird. Numbers are out of line. Crooked? Instead of drop down arrows for the bags I’m carrying why don’t you have boxes to check for one or two with price. I have to keep pressing your cute little arrows to find all of your fees and charges. It’s already ridiculous to pay what all airlines charge for bags. Why don’t you at least speed up the pain with more user friendly push and click boxes. You asked!

There are so many problems with this website though it has made some improvement. I almost signed out without buying my baggage and seat on the return flight. Nothing to cue me there. I was looking for the return option and had to go back to find it. Then, of course, my updated phone no. Did not stick and I had to re-enter it. In addition, there seem to be 3 profiles for my name depending on caps vs small case-none of which match. That’s not good. Data bases are not melded and add to confusion. Data base errors seem to be the biggest problem on Frontier sites. Unfortunately the customers are putting in that data and your computer does not recognize duplicate info. Big problem.
Boarding pass does not pick up the bags that I purchased

My regular size backpack which is considered a personal item for Spirit Airlines and which fits under the seat on spirit is considered a carry-on ; only a child size backpack is considered a personal item for Frontier. So I ended up choosing their bundle under their perks option for $74 through my computer online which oddly they wanted to charge more money for the bundle through the app on my phone. The perks bundle included a carry-on and a checked bag, a choice in seats and priority boarding. I received a receipt that showed I paid for it but the boarding pass on line through my computer and through the app on my phone both showed that all I paid for was my seat. If it shows the same thing in the morning I’m going to have to check in with the desk and have that straightened out...This is very frustrating. I didn’t think this could happen but they actually make spirit look good.

It took me an hour to figure out how to purchase bags on this app and the website (yes, I tried both). The instructions told me to click “Add Baggage” but that option was greyed out and not click-able. I basically ended up clicking random things until it worked. I had to go through the same adds about purchasing other “perks” about 5 million times before I could even purchase what I needed to purchase, and once I got there, the buttons wouldn’t work. I would click and nothing would happen. I fly Southwest regularly for cheaper, AND I get two free checked bags and two free carry-ons. Plus, to change my flight, Frontier charges $400-$500. Southwest charges nothing. What Frontier charges $90 for and calls “perks”, Southwest calls normal and what I already paid for in my airfare. And Southwest’s flights are still usually cheaper, once you consider all of Frontier’s fees. I will never be flying Frontier again.

These reviews are supposed to be for the app and not for the airline. There are a lot of clueless reviewers that don’t understand the basic cheap no-frills airline that Frontier is. Fares and additional charges are clearly posted. In fact it is annoying to have to dismiss the options before finishing a purchase. If you are unable to read and comprehend, that’s your problem. It gets me from Point A to Point B for CHEAP. The app is efficient, well laid out, not cluttered and responsive. Kudos to the developers. A couple of features I would like to see added are: (1) The ability to save frequent routes and (2) Fare alerts when prices for particular routes/dates drop.

Just to let you know I fly frontier all the time.I left a review once before that somebody had taken my phone from the airplane as soon as I got outside the corridor I realized that I left my phone behind. It was left in the pocket of the seat in front of me and I was in aisle 25. So I figure the only person that would have found her phone was that lady from the front of the gate that I told her that I love the phone behind and she went back to get it or the cleaning Stewert s that was up in front of the plane. It was a brand new phone just got a cheeseburger. In any case one of them took it and nobody replied back Thanks Adrian Besu

As I am sitting here waiting for my flight, which has been delayed for a third time now (for a total of 5 hours), the prompt came up asking me to review “Frontier.” If I’m reviewing the app, it’s fine. The airline, however, is awful. This will be my 3rd Frontier flight, and 2 of the 3 have had major delays, and that is consistent with experiences of other passengers here and friends/family members, who warned me not to book through Frontier. Their seats are probably the most uncomfortable of any airline that I’ve experienced, and they nickel and dime you for everything, so the savings by booking through this discount airline are not as great as you would expect in the end. If you have an option of another airline, do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration of Frontier. One star is frankly a generous rating for their “service”, but they didn’t have a zero star option.

Last night I called Frontier spent 51 minutes waiting for an agent until I FINALLY Hungup. Called for assistance this morning for Web. Support waited another 25 minutes. Spoke to an agent that I could barely understand. Then being put on. Hold for couple of minutes each time, at least 7 times. Now before the payment there should be an area that shows where to insert a past credit there is none on a IPhone., she wanted me to rebook the reservation on my pc but when I got to the price it doubled another problem is the Works price it changes each time from $79 to $98. That isn’t fair. Needless to say I will look elsewhere for future airlines reservations. Thanks for allowing me to vent.
Impossible to talk to ANYONE

I spent over 3 hours trying to talk to someone about them overcharging me $100 for luggage. The first frustration came when we weren’t able to click on luggage icon. After attempting to do this using various technology, we called. It took 20 minutes to finally get to talk to someone. We were told we could check in 2 bags for $30 each. After receiving my credit card bill and seeing one charge for $76 and another for $80 I tried to call and visit with an agent. After finally getting to talk to a real person, the lady stated that they can’t refund luggage payments. REALLY??? It was their error overcharging me!! By this time I was frustrated and asked to talk to supervisor. She put me on hold and after 45 minutes of waiting, I hung up. Tried to contact someone again, I was listening to elevator music for 33 minutes before giving up. I will NEVER fly Frontier again.

For some reason only charged me for part of my reservation, wouldn’t let me check in until I paid the rest, kept clicking to make payment and it kept bringing me in circles. Called the customer service number and it never lets you speak to someone personally and keeps directing you to their AWFUL website. I had to google how to speak to some one directly and you have to SAY “feedback and concerns” and that was the only option that allowed me to speak to someone directly. Don’t select a seat because you have one reserved already for you and the pricing is extra (once again more fees). The guy in the phone Jason had the patience of a Saint because he had to wait with me as the website kept taking us in circles. I will gladly pay extra to never fly this airline again, not worth the hassle and stress to save a few dollars after all the fees.

I’ve already wasted well over 1.5 hours of my work day so I’ll keep this simple. My DOB wasn’t correct. As anyone halfway intelligent knows, it’s imperative your flight info matches your ID. Called to get it corrected. Got transferred to 3 different people (2 of which were managers), all of them had me do the same things over and over. Didn’t work any of the attempts. Still isn’t correct in my profile. I have no idea what to do and am just taking a chance this doesn’t affect me boarding for my flight. I also booked a flight through a third party. The third party didn’t give me the ability to select my seat or add a bag so Frontier was “nice” enough to charge me an inflated fee to do so through their website. Do not expect good customer service or intelligent help if you call Frontier for assistance.

I bought a plane ticket to go to my best friend’s wedding and I paid for insurance because I know sometimes things come up. The week before I was supposed to go, my cousin passed away, so I decided to stay home for her funeral. I asked for a refund, and they said I needed to provide a death certificate. I did, and they still didn’t give me my money back. I thought it was so insensitive— I paid for insurance and provided the death certificate and they still took my money. Another thing— I forgot my password for the account and kept requesting a link to my email for a new password, and they said it sent but I never got anything. I checked my inbox and my spam and got nothing from them. So I couldn’t log into my account. I tried calling their 24 hour phone service and never had anyone answer my call. Please do not use this company, I really wish I hadn’t.

So. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband booked his flight several weeks ago. He drove 3hours to the airport for a flight for a chance at a job in Denver. He had an orientation class. Thanks to the "policy" he didn't get his flight, probably lost the job, and we may not get refunded the tickets. Due to traffic at the airport he reached the ticket counter three minutes into the "hour before flight". They argued with him about getting his ticket. He could see the terminal and the gate from the counter. This put him five minutes "into the hour" so they wouldn't let him get his ticket and go through security. He explained this was a job orientation at 9am, but they offered a flight "tomorrow". When he requested a manager the manager CONTINUED to argue with him. After this put him well "into the hour" he finally asked for a refund. They refused. So we have to contact corporate for it (fat chance there) and he's probably lost the job because of this. Thank you for helping to continue to keep our family split because this job would finally have helped us get a home again. We will never use your "services" (if you can call it that) again. We will also make sure to let everyone we know to never attempt to fly with you.

Cheapest flights, I just got a one way trip from Florida to New York for 24$! A week before the flight date. Awesome. Do know, it isn’t luxury flying you pay for what you get; no free snacks or drinks, no tv, no reclining chairs, no tv. But who cares on a two hour flight? But I was comfortable enough on my flight and didn’t mind buying a water bottle and brought my own snacks and entertainment. This is the best way to travel back and forth from Florida for me. Also phone support, and all flight crew are some of the friendliest I’ve dealt with while flying. Thank you Frontier! You’ve got yourself a life long customer.

I tried to create account. It refused my password and indicated I didn’t follow the rules of creating a password, when I did! So I tried to start over and I got the same error message. I did this a few times to be absolutely sure I did everything right and followed their rules to the letter. I still got the same error message! So I tried to setup a new profile, and all that did was lock me out. I am usually very good about signing up for sites/apps, so I asked for help from a fellow computer person, much like myself, and they had the same experience. It should not take an hour to sign up! ...and I still do not have my boarding pass. I must assume low fares and confusion go hand in hand. Nope, I have no desire to use Frontier again, after this. Low fares should not be synonymous with having issues with the website.

The website is an easy way to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, there is virtually no way to correct an entry. After making an error, I contacted Frontier. The initial agent I got a hold of did not understand the issue, did not understand the language, and did not want to help. The second agent cited policies and then said they wouldn’t apply but would give us a credit, but never modify the website. After 46 minutes, trying the website and going through two operators who were confrontational, did not communicate well, and we’re not willing to understand, I did get the problem fixed with the third person. It was a simple issue but frontier made it very hard. Disappointing

Both the web and the app are wildly misleading...you have to call to get one of their reps to "update" your "contact" info before you can do anything, even with a paid reservation. If you don't call and speak to someone, you'll never be able to select a seat or enter a known traveler number. What's the point of having an app OR a website? Unrelated to the app: Once you're done paying for the seat, there is little to no savings on the ticket and not at all worth the frustration. Flight itself is similar to any other airline experience. Don't be fooled by the hype about paying for carry ons: nobody looked twice at our personal items, they could have easily been full sized carry ons. Glad I didn't pay for that upgrade.

This app works better than trying to check in online or trying to check in at the little kiosks at the airports. One day, I almost missed my flight because the online and kiosk wouldn’t work so I was told I had to stand in line and talk to an agent to print my ticket. The line was sooo long and I knew there was no way I’d make the flight if I waited there but thank god for this app!! I went on it and it let me check in and gave Me my ticket so I didn’t have to wait for an agent!! Made my flight just in time! Easy to use, clean and well designed app!!

This is my second experience with Frontier; the first wasn't good but this time was excellent. Easy to find want I want, prices very acceptable and accessible and the most important, the site is very easy to navigate through. The only thing that I have to mention is about some attendant; the tone of the voice during the flight was too loud; is hard to take a nap or read. I have to mention as well, that they were very friendly and helpful during the boarding when I need help with my carry-on luggage. So far, I’m planning to keep flying to Atlanta with this airline.

Do not fly frontier airlines because they had us delayed from Denver International Airport to The Dallas airport 3 TIMES. So it all started on October 25,2018 that night in the afternoon we got delayed then once we got there there was a gate change and then another gate change then another gate change then we boarded the airplane and the capitan oxygen if we got a oxygen problem then we went out the gate then we pulled up back to the same gate and had to a new gate because the airplane couldn’t take off then we were boarding then there was a boarding problem then we had to wait another 15 min then we started boarding again then they needed oxygen again for the captains then we took off. We took of at 1 or 12 then we got to the Dallas airport at 4:00.😞

Excelent airline. If you can save money this is your airline. People always talk about free bags and service but if you want all of this look for other airline. With frontier you pay for what you receive. Im not saying that they dont provide service, if you read all of the information that they provide its exactly what you get. You have to read. I like it because they offers me great itinerary flights, its cheap, always send me offers. Im from Puerto Rico and when the Huraccaine Maria came on Sept 2017 I flight with frontier in October for $59. Im happy for using this airline.

Flying because it’s the only option. Rating has nothing to do with app. I hate the “upswell” tactics of frontier beyond belief..... here is an advertised cheap flight.....oh you expected normal accommodations like a carryon bag and picking your seat at check in.....that’s going to double your cost of ticket and that’s only if you buy it in a bundle with a checked bag.....check your bag now or get charged more.....we are military and per info on the site get all of that stuff for free....even after opting out still being prompted really really grinds my gears.....I said no. In so frustrated that frointier is a budget airline and really after you buy normal accommodations it’s maybe $20 than delta aa United. It bothers me that the customer base is built on a lie and then charging what a real airline is for 2nd rate service. /end rant

Booked 6 months in advance, paid for specific seating, received confirmation. Received emails of flight number and time change but not that we were kicked out of our stretch seating that we paid extra for which were right in front of the party we were traveling with. We found out when checking in for our flight that we had no seats. No notifications from Frontier that we did not have the paid for and confirmed seats we were initially told we had. Frontier customer service had no good answers, only excuses. Until I continued to pressure the supervisor did I get seats even close to our party yet still ended up in tight seating on the opposite side of the plane. Also no seats for the return flight. Grrr. BEWARE confirmation with Frontier means nothing.

This is my first time flying with Frontier and I’m hoping the flight home is better that my flight in. When it was time to board the scanner was down and there was only 1 person who had to manually look up every passenger. She was very slow and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. She was also very rude. Once on the plane I thought ok here we go. Nope I look out the window and they are just now loading the luggage. Might I add there were only 2 people working. 2 hours later we finally took off. Our flight was supposed to land at like 11 am it was 2pm before we got to our destination. I have flown many many times and I have never had this much trouble. So I’m hoping the flight home is much better.

Showed up for my 8am flight out of Providence to TAMPA, people at checkin where GONE. 5 family’s got stuck paying $30 MORE to switch the ticket to a 5pm flight. No apologies, when I try to have a conversation with the woman behind the counter I asked to speak to a manager conveniently she was in a meeting. And then I was told if I had any further issues they would call the police on me... really?? I will NEVER EVER fly this airline. Spoke to airline security and police and THEY said they have been having MANY issues and they were called to the counter YESTERDAY and Frontier was told by the police officer that they need better customer service!! Horrible experience, stuck at the airport till tonight and have to FLY TO ORLANDO.. 1 1/2 from Home! Never again! #CustomerService!

First time using mobile app and also first time booking using my points. It went very well. My very first experience fraying with frontiers my flight was canceled and I was left stranded in Salt Lake City with my son, whom was traveling with me for work. It was so frustrating and lost a lot of money last Summer. I hv them one more try end of Summer abd was a much better experience leaving out of East coast. Heads back to Salt Lake city for work again, praying I and the others flying in will get in and out ok if weather permits on Feb 28th. “3 is a charm, third flight with the bear!”

You’d think that after all these years, this app would be perfect. But it still can’t handle basics. The app always defaults to my departing airport being in Mexico regardless that my profile states otherwise. Why do I have to keep changing this every time? Why Mexico? Enabling location services should help but makes no difference. It’s clunky and doesn’t handle basics such as pet add on. Dear frontier, look at the American Airlines app and learn. It’s a dream. It’s beautifully designed and I can do everything from tracking my luggage to arrange upgrades to buy meals, to you name it. And all that in a user friendly design. You have no upgrades, no meals and yet, you can’t get an app that defaults to my correct departing airport listed on my profile. Such a shame.

I love the cheap flights etc. I think what would make the experience better is allowing carry-on bags to be free, or at least make it apparent they are free because I've never paid for it and never have been charged. Seems ambiguous. Also, I think customers who purchase tickets way in advance should be able to choose seats without paying extra, especially if you're traveling with another people. Hope you'll take my advice and make changes. Would mean the world to me as a customer!

Frontier made it possible for me and my best friend to fly out in a weeks notice for my birthday. While other airlines sported $400-$600 tickets Frontier was only $100 (with carry on bag prices). The promo codes worked and the app made it a breeze for checking in early and showing our boarded passes. First time flying Frontier and it wasn’t nearly the craziness people made it seem. Just as easy if not easier then Delta and American. Would highly recommend for those looking for a budget friendly fly. Thanks frontier.

I would like to thank the crew of Frontier for going above and beyond great care. I traveled after receiving chemotherapy and surgery on my arm, the crew was so attentive to my needs. My discomfort was apparent and they did everything possible to help with my pain, they provided a snack so my stomach would tolerate my pain medication, they provided ice for my arm and when it was apparent my stomach was going to come up they were quick to bring me a bag to throw up in. I am a Frontier den member. It seems like there are so many empty seats on the flight that I just made a reservation that den members should still be getting the $56 rate for 2 weeks in advance. I’m a little disappointed in this. I’m just thinking is it really worth being a den member and in fact I was just thinking about getting the Frontier credit card but for me to be paying $255 for a Frontier red eye flight doesn’t really feel like a good or fair deal ! Would like to hear a reply on this or your thoughts. Thank you Peggy Stubenrauch

Everyone knows Frontier is just terrible. Terrible planes, terrible customer service, terrible fees on top of good airfares. They even required you to have this app to get your mobile boarding pass. But, this app actually turns out to be the best part of the whole company. Clean, easy-to-use, functional- you can even book in-app. It’s surprisingly great. Hopefully you’ll never have to use it (since hopefully you never have to fly Frontier), but if you do you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

I booked my airline way before I found out that I had to work the day after I fly home. what that means is that I am flying out on a Wednesday but I’ve got to work all the way up until Thursday. I tried calling customer service and the lady said oh well that’s not my problem. So basically is I’m out of a round-trip ticket that I cannot use I cannot cancel and I cannot get a refund. Tried calling customer service but they don’t speak very good English. So buyers beware. I had to book 2 different tickets with two different airlines now and it cost me an additional money. Frontier Airline wake up and do what Southwest does. If you’re on unable to make your airline due to medical reasons or working. They give you one year to use your voucher.

This app will not keep you up to date on delays or gate changes. I’ve had both happen to me today with my flight. I’ve used this app several times already and it’s given me trouble with the gate changes before. This time, I’m at the gate it said to go to an hour and a half before departure. I’m waiting, time to depart but nothing is going on. Check my boarding pass on the app, says my gate has changed AND says it’s ON TIME, and NO NOTIFICATIONS. So what do I do? Book it to the new gate, hoping they haven’t left without me. Not only have they not left, even though it said boarding started 40 min prior, the departure time is now two and a half hours later than the original time.

We were going to Vegas on Labor Day and the plane was three hours late. When we finally got on board there was a medical ER. It took about 30 minutes to get back on track. The Pilot said he was over his time limit for the month to fly the plane. We all had to exit the plane . The next flight was 7am the next day. If he was that close to his time limit , they should of another pilot on stand by. It was horrible and the communication was even worst. Very unprofessional.

Bought tickets a couple months ago and find today that I need to pay another $125 to get on plane with luggage, more if i have a carry on. Spent 30 minutes on phone with representative who said bags were $38, not $40 the App was showing. She sent me to site to pay for checked bags but site wouldn’t work so after 30 minutes I ended the call and went back to App, paid another $125 just to get on the same plane I thought I’d already paid for. I’m a Platinum flyer at Delta but I have always enjoyed Frontier and Alaskan but i have never been treated like this, charged like this, given the runaround like this and i am very unlikely to ever fly Frontier again. It has been a horrible experience and we aren’t even to the airport yet.

Sometimes very difficult to book. When you call in for assistance they either want to charge you, don’t have the same fares you see on line or give you a number to call someone else. No considerations for Veterans who don’t have physical scares. Because of my knees, back and left shoulder, it would be so much easier to board after Premium passengers or passengers w/children. Even tho’ I present my DAV card with 30 Years of faithful service to this great Nation, it falls on death ears because I am not in a wheel chair. Sometimes I am slow, and depending on the day can’t lift my bag to put it in the over hang bin, so. It takes me a little longer and folks get frustrated. Because I don’t have any physical scares outside that one can see. I sometimes panic around a lot of people especially when the line is waiting on me to be seated. Can anything be done for me and other Veterans to assist us? Thank you

Frontier recently began its non stop flights between Savannah,Ga & Denver, CO. Everything was perfect except for the very early return flight. Since it is the only one all week, a later flight would have been better. 6:40am is a little too early for since I am a senior citizen & need time to get ready in the morning. I barely got 2 hrs sleep & would not do it again. Otherwise everyone connected with the flight & check in were superb& made the trip excellent. I would recommend flying Frontiers to anyone who doesn’t have a problem with early flights.

The app is okay but it seriously took me 2 entire days and more than a dozen attempts to book our tickets. It kept mixing up mine and my husband’s info and wouldn’t take our flier numbers, deleted his known traveler number. Tried 3 cards before it finally took one. I’m guessing it was because my parents were buying us the tickets as a gift but ultimately I put them in my card bc it wouldn’t take their (assuming not the travelers names so for security). Still it would have been nice if it saved my info so I wouldn’t have to have keep re-entering over and over. I was logged in to my account. But the basic function of what the app should do is nice.

Never in my life has it been so difficult to sign into an account! I have spent the passed hour trying to sign into my account with no success! Every time I reset my password and type in the new password it says I can’t use the previous password (the one it said was the incorrect password) I have gone through several passwords at this point following the password instructions, taking my time to ensure I am typing it in correctly just for it to continuously say unable to login !!!! I am very tech savvy, I work for a tech company so I know how to sign into apps and accounts! I have never been so frustrated, at this point I just want to cancel my flight and be done with this mess altogether!

Can’t purchase my ticket online (several browsers and co outlets) because the required phone number section is greyed out, can’t click. (Phone IS stored in my profile, though.) So I tried the app. Hooray! Phone number autofilled just as the other profile details did! And then enter all my card information 36 times (!!!!!) only to be told repeatedly “Failed to connect to the server and we’re unable to continue. Any changes made will be lost.” Looks like I’ll have to select a different airline despite the fact I’m a Frontier CC holder and have exclusively flown Frontier for a decade now.

Most Airline Apps require some registration process, like an Honors or Mile Rewards Program. Sure it’s nice to have the option, but when I needed my mobile boarding pass, Frontier’s mobile app fully loaded within a fraction of a second, and the app opened without any user registration, without any user login, and my booking pulled up with only my last name and Confirmation Number(letters). Whole process completed within a minute! No kidding, within a minute! Gerard S
Major delays

Our flight was delayed nearly 9 hours, we were suppose to leave at 2:30 pm and did not end up leaving until 11:00 pm! They first delayed it 1/2 hour then it went to 4pm, then 7:30 pm, then 10:40 pm, if we knew orginally that the flight was not going to leave until 11 at night we could have gone home and then came back, but they kept delaying it further and further as the day went on and there was no one at the desk to communicate with until 6:30 pm. It was the worst experience i ever had flying ever!
