Customer service is trash and this airline is highway robbery. Had I booked with American Airlines or Delta or Southwest for $20 dollars extra TOTAL, I would have still saved over $300 while being able to bring all my bags. ALL OF THEM!

i bought a ticket and fly your airline often. after i bought ticket online. i saw i was charged for carry on. i have no carryon. so i immediately called and someone who i could barely understand said no credit can be given, only a voucher. talked her manager and could understand her less. within 5 minutes i tried to change it and if i take it i will still lose my 39.00. that is a terrible program that you cannot help your customers. you rip them off both ways. profit is business but ripping and not helping people is a sin . i am only one person but i hope anyone who reads this will see how unprofessional you are to your customers.

First time to fly on Frontier and it will be the last. Announced people with small children could board first, so anyone with children from infants to 15 years old rushed forward and barged in line. Yes, people with teenagers were allowed to board first. Then they had a long line for Zone 1 and people just started cutting in line and the staff just allowed it. It was basically a free for all boarding process.

The credit card scanner doesn’t work... better off including Apple Pay or something entering the info in all the time isn’t efficient. Also entering user data all the time takes awhile if you have an account it should bring in your info.

The app actually makes it easier to navigate through the check in process than on a browser. The options, add-ons, and next buttons are more obvious and being able to access all of the flight info before and after check in is handy.

Don’t even bother . Bad app worse Airline . Everything you can imagine that would be displeasing about an airline would be part of my one and only experience with this Airline . 0% flight insurance. Best suggestion from customer service is to pay full price another day . No regard for the pandemic or customer issues. Not to mention lack of an on the ground staff and unhelpful customer service agent . My flight has been delayed in Orlando 2 hours and that’s caused me to miss connecting transportation In Newark. So I’ll be stuck in new jersey until the next day. If you can spend a little extra to fly elsewhere DO IT. These people are horrible.

Booking the flight was super easy! If you need to call customer service expect to wait at least an hour but they are very calm and talk you through everything. Their website doesn’t load the check in button a lot of the times so download the app cause it took me seconds to get checked in👍🏼

I called a total of five times, was disconnected three of those five times with no call back from customer service and the other two times I was left on hold for over 40 minutes until I decided to hang up. Between this past Saturday and today, I was on the phone with customer service for over 2 1/2 hours to try and get a resolution with my missing miles. After the fifth call, I decided just to give up, use what miles I had for my next flight and never fly frontier again.

I looked at these exact flights 3 days ago to fly my significant other from GA to WA and saved them in my cart 10000 points each way total of 20000 points. I had to confirm the dates for her. I am a CPT/physician in the Army and went to the field for three days worth of training with no phone and returned last night. I go to book the exact same flights today 3 days later and it’s now costing me 40000 points. Honestly that kind of jump is insane. Very disappointed.

I have been to the airport several times to speak to someone about my ticket I call the reservation number and was giving me the runaround I was told that I had to pay $25 for the name change which was fine but then I was told I had to pay $179 for Destination and I’m going to the same place all I needed was the name change then the supervisor told me that I had to pay $119 for cancellationWish I did not understand why wouldn’t the supervisor know that you are advertising no cancellation fee. Booking with frontier has been the worst experience of my life and I have not even boarded the plane yet

I have not even gone to the airport yet and this is already the worst airline I have ever used! I find out the day before that they changed the time on my departure and arrival....without letting me know! Luckily I contacted the booking company and they sent me over to Frontier...they offered no compensation and just said they didn’t know my email address...which I had provided. Since I have booked I’ve talk to 2 people who used Frontier - both had horror stories. Do not think you are getting a cheap flight....if you bring a carry on it’s $55!!!! Worst airline ever. Lastly, a friend of mine flew and said the seats are like sitting on a piece of plastic. Said he would never fly Frontier again...trust me, you will regret it.

I find it ludicrous that a carry on bag is an extra fee, especially when I have spent extra time dealing with a non-user friendly website/app. If it weren’t the only option I have, I wouldn’t be using this airline. I would much rather fly Allegheny or spirit. The customer seems more important than you exhibit to yours.

I have never had more trouble with a airline website 1) You need to have the discount den number shown in our web page and the expiration date. 2) You need to have a box to check saying that you ARE a Discount Den member (Very Visible) 3) You need to be able to make changes on the profile account. (I had to call and wait for 30 minutes to have my incorrect birthdate corrected)

I go into the website to book a flight. The price comes up at $46. I indicate I want to carry on a bag. Round trip the cost to carry on a bag is $74. That is more than the roundtrip fare. I decide NOT to carry on a bag, I back out and redo my flight and the price goes up to $120. How does the flight jump $46?? I log out, go back in and the price is $46 again. I've wasted 20 minutes online. MAKES NO SENSE!

This is my first time flying frontier. Overall a good experience. Easy check in and once we got the right confirmation code, the process for baggage and online check in was pretty easy. Only complaint is there were 3 of us flying and they put us on opposite sides of the aisle. With 3 seats to a row, it would have been preferable to all be on same row and seems it would have been safer for others.

I bought seats on a flight and they sold the exact same seats to someone else as well. They refuse to refund my cost as they are “nonrefundable”. Took 3 phones to get that answer. Customer service is TERRIBLE and they don’t care about you at all, just getting your money. Worst airline I’ve ever flown on.

I have try login to use my Discount Den and neither the website and the app aloud me to log in. I had to change my password like 5 times and every time I want to log in I can’t because it says is a wrong password. It is really annoying and frustrating because I love this airline for all the kindness and good prices. PLEASE FIX THAT PROBLEM I HATE TO WAIT A LOT ON A PHONE CALL!!!! 🚨

I love that we have an airline that sort of embraces the entire Colorado attitude. At altitude people just think different. It is true in planes, in Denver and can be found everywhere in Colorado. I super love our country but I super SUPER love Colorado and..FRONTIER AIRLINES!!

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!! I’ve waited over two hours on the phone numerous times trying to speak to one of your customer service representatives only to have someone pick up that can’t speak English. I think your tactic is to keep people waiting on hold so they just get frustrated lose their money and are unable to communicate with someone that can speak the language properly. Your website and app are not user-friendly, numerous flights and times that I have tried to use credits it does not allow me to do so. Your obnoxious Robo automatic emails are just unacceptable. Also, I don’t understand why you request everyone on the plane to wear a mask but allow passengers to drink and have snacks and remove their masks... it makes no sense! From the beginning to end it was an awful experience.

I've had nothing but problems with the Frontier's website, it seems to glitch more than it works, I look forward to a new program as this doesn't work for me. In today's age it's so easy to come up with a smooth website, what is wrong with Frontier? I fly United, American, Delta, Southwest, and occasionally Qantas and I've never had to deal with such a remedial website like Frontier's.

This company is untrustworthy. Offering credit for canceled flights due to COVID 19. Claiming 24 hr service with phone number that puts you on a tree that says they are closed after hours. Extended wait times and call volume that exceeds their capacity. How do consumers get their needs met when there is no costumer service. Send an email with a promise of 10 return but receive Nothing.

I’ve never encountered any website worse than this one. I can navigate other airlines with ease, and this is one reason I stopped using Frontier. Today I was cancelling a flight to Florida which was supposed to automatically give me a voucher for another flight. Nope. Not working. So I have to call—I’d called earlier and after 20 minutes of holding, a severe screeching occurred and I disconnected. Frontier should update their systems!

WE THEN WERE APPROACHED BY A COUPLE THAT ASKED IF WE WERE FLYING TO ORLANDO WE REPLIED “YES” THEY THEN SAID “IT’S CANCELED WE JUST CHECKED THE WEBSITE” NEITHER ONE OF US RECEIVED AND E-MAIL STATING WHY. WE THEN SAT ON HOLD WITH FRONTIER FOR 1H & 45M BEFORE WE COULD EVEN SPEAK TO SOMEONE. THE FIRST WOMAN WAS “PROCESSING” OUR ENTIRE REFUND UNTIL SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ONE US. WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED BACK & THIS STAFF MEMBER INFORMED US THAT THEY CANNOT REFUND US AT ALL AND WE CAN ONLY HAVE A CREDIT WHEN THEY KNEW THEY WERE GONNA CANCEL THIS FLIGHT AND OTHER FLIGHTS THROUGH THE END OF JULY. This is the WORST airline that has ever existed. They changed my flight date and time without my permission, they did not want to refund my money using the pandemic as an excuse. The people that work for frontier are just so rude. Then I accepted to get another flight 4 months later and they did the exact same thing where they chanced it but this time they changed it to the same day departure and arrival but I was only going to be at my destination for 50 minutes. It’s ridiculous. The planes was so uncomfortable, they smell really bad, and the personnel is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend it to anyone. Stay away from this airline! They NEVER give your money back.

This is at the bottom of airline apps in my opinion. Even when logged in, you have to have your confirmation code to retrieve your booking. What’s the point of having a profile then? I always seem to have to re-enter information that is saved in my other airlines app profiles, like email address, known traveler number... Seems clunky, cumbersome and not intuitive at all. Isn’t the point of the app and having a profile to make it simpler and more streamline? Total fail.

I used to fly frontier a few years back and didn’t think they were that bad. Let me tell you this airline is trash. What airline has a million hidden fees after you book your ticket? This one. What airline has the worst check in process for your flight EVER? This one. You book your flight but if you want an assigned seat you pay extra, carry on bags extra, no free checked bag. Attempted to check in but the website doesn’t work so I had to download the app just to check in. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little extra on an American Airlines, delta, southwest or any other airline. These guys will end up charging you enough to have booked with a better airline in the end anyway ✌️Never Again Frontier.

Our flight was changed from a Sunday to the Friday before. I called and asked why and they gave no explanation. I found out that due to Covid they had to reduce the amount of flights. That is a reasonable explanation. Also the plane departed 3.5 hours late with no reason why. Now I went to check-in because our return flight is tomorrow and in order to check in I had to pay another $35.00. Why??? Once again no reason why. The flight itself was very good. Nice crew. Will see how tomorrow goes.

My son is flying with me tomorrow Milwaukee to Vegas with his emotional support dog . We went to the doctor had all the paperwork filled out and paid $80 for a Health certificate from his vet . And uploaded it 4 times for them to keep saying they need a health certificate. When all the paperwork is in one upload.. so we can’t get through to anyone on the phone.

I have a computer bag the difference between a carry-on item at a computer bag is very vague in the app also it asked me to upgrade when all I wanted was the standard see that I paid for it wouldn’t allow me to use or make available any normal seating options I could only pay for an upgrade very very difficult to use

Some people really don’t like to pay for a carry on bag, neither do I really. The great thing is you can always find a quick trip for a few days and carry a personal bag. That means no waiting in line at the airport and the price is fantastic! My daughter and I took a quick get away that I selected from one of the email deals for less than $200! Total! Round trip for 2 ! You can’t beat that. Even if you need more luggage just buy the bundle that includes carry on , checked bag and premium seats. You will still pay less than other airlines most of the time. JUST Do NOT take a suit case that exceeds the weight or size because you will pay the fine! This cuts down on fuel costs for the plane. Plain and simple.

This app cost me my flight back with perk bundle, another ticket with another (but reliable) airline and a hotel night. I checked in online few hours prior to my MIA to PHL. I have TSA Pre check, when I got there, the app would not load my flights or find my boarding pass. This used to happen at times, the app would have forget who I was. This time, it was critical and the app kept giving me an error. Come to find out, other passengers on the same flight had the same issue. We headed to Frontier counter 35 minutes before departure, no one to be found, we were told by other airlines representatives that frontier personal left about 15 minutes prior!! We called frontier, after a looong wait, we were told that we will miss the flight, that the flight is not refundable, we have to pay a $110 fee to be placed on another flight 2 DAYS LATER!! other passengers managed to get a credit for their missed flight, I was not as lucky, and person I spoke with told me IT WAS MY FAULT TO TRUST THEIR APP WITH MY BOARDING PASS!! To add insult to injury, frontier lost my suitcase on the way to MIA (direct flight). They found it yet 5 days after my flight and I am still waiting for my bag back. I will never FlyFrontier again. Do yourself a favor and print your boarding pass or at least take a screenshot. Better yet spend a little more and travel with a real airline in peace.

Careful about being mislead by this app like I was today. Yes, you can check into your flight early, pay for your baggage, and pick your seat. However, there is a catch-22. Frontier attempts to sell you a package deal that includes a checked in bag, carry-on, and the ability to pick a seat, but makes it seem instead like you’re signing up through the app for an account. I made the mistake of going through all these motions without realizing that I was buying a package deal. How I really got screwed was when I showed up to the airport and the attendant let us know that our “carry-on” items were small enough that we wouldn’t have had to pay fees to bring them aboard. I later inquired about a refund for those two items and was told that they could not do so because I bought it as a package. I feel so ripped off! If I had just checked in my baggage at the airport and taken a randomly assigned seat, then I would have spent maybe less than $60 instead of $120. Frontier is bordering on committing fraud with this app and I’d even recommend that Apple yank it from the store so nobody else gets scammed by it like I did.

We arrived at Denver airport at 3:45 am for 7:00 am flight. We actually arrived 3 hrs ahead of schedule for domestic flight with 2 kids 3 year and 6 years. We checked in online but just to drop the bag and car seat checkin staff made us wait for almost 2 hrs. Then security lines were so lengthy.. as we were going through security requested the flight was going to leave in 40 mins TSA agents said all the flight were late and they would wait for passengers. As we ran to the gate 7 mins before the departure time gate was closed the agent boarded and cannot open the gate even the flight was right at the gate ..we requested the agent and said cannot do and sent to the rebooking agent only to let us know that there were no flights until next day. For some passengers in the line with us were told 2-3 days stranded in Denver and frontier airline would not provide any accommodation s well. Worst ground staff in flight was okay no issues. Ground transportation staff and Denver Security check is unbelievablely bad Thanks Hari

I was booked for a trip out of Santa Barbara to Denver then to Chicago. I have a brain injury and had wheel chair assistant due to my injury. Our flight was delayed for 6 hours at Santa Barbara which is were my daughter lives. I was going to reschedule my flight but was given a phone number to the hotel. This with the airport assistant made me feel comfortable enough to continue my travel. At the Denver airport was when we were told there was going to be no hotel. Thank God one other person was in the same situation as I was. My assistant took me to McDonald’s for food then took me to our gate. So from 11:00 PM till our fight at 6:30Am I was left with a stranger. We slept on the floor for a few hours. I was afraid to leave for food the next morning. Needless to say I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication about no hotel. My safety wasn’t a concern of your airline. My back still hurts after two days. I hope after this review your company will take others with disabilities into consideration before making decisions that could put them in a potentially dangerous situation.

At the checkin there was a male and I am assuming he was from Jamaica who was very impatient with us. We had even got our bags to the checkin before he was asking for our boarding passes and I’d cards. He stated that the boarding passes we had (which we printed the day before) would not work and through our boarding passes in the trash and after we presented our I’d cards proceeded to print out new boarding passes and our baggage claim tickets. The flight personnel and cabin crew where not friendly at all and continuously knocked my shoulders (which where wider than the sear backs) every time they came by and hit my right leg which I had placed on the outside of the seat in front of me as I had a brace on that leg and did say excuse me or I’m sorry the whole time that they hit my leg or my shoulder. By the way and I didn’t tell them but I have undergone reverse shoulder surgery on both of my shoulders/arms and I really don’t expect to get hit every time they pass me
Delayed flights and Dirty Seats

I just flew home on frontier yesterday. I had a connection in Denver. Both of my flights were delayed. But what bothered me most was the dirty seats on my first flight out of Austin. When boarding I noticed that the entire row of seats I was in were full of crumbs including the floor. When I brought it to the attention of the flight attendant she just explained that children had been sitting there on the previous flight and handed me some paper towels to clean the seats myself. She mad no attempt to help me nor did she apologize for the seats not being cleaned before we boarded. An airline not cleaning the seats and floors between flights is not only unprofessional but it is unacceptable. And for the flight attendant to not even be concerned that the seats were not cleaned is unbelievable. It felt disgusting to sit in these seats and put my bag under the seat in front of me with so much food crumbs on the carpet. I really don’t want to fly frontier again nor would I recommend it to anyone!

Hi once a passenger is on the plane the service and condition of aircraft is similar if not better than other airlines. The booking , the bag and seat fees, availability of representatives, your fee for only a 24 hr fundable change or cancellation is poor and lack of scheduled flights, rates Frontier below Southwest which also started building its frequent customer base calling itself a Discount airline. It is silly to assume passengers , other than one day business persons , fly without luggage or families who need to sit together. If an individual needs to get to point A to B without any luggage , Frontier is a good choice. If it flies on the days convenient to the airline. I hope that as you make more and more profit, Frontier will consider allowing one piece of luggage free per ticket booked , or free seating and for the 15 $ fee allow changes or cancellations at least up to a week from departure. Thank you for a friendly staff and fresh operating aircrafts.
Terrible customer service

We arrived at the airport at 5:15 for our 7:15 flight. After two delays we received a text message from the company that the flight had been canceled. 35 minutes later an employee finally came out to announce the cancellation. As we started asking questions like “will we get our money back” or “do you have any more flights going out we can get on” each time a piece of paper was picked up and shaken in our faces and were told to read the paper just like everyone else. Worst service ever!!!!!! We were all states away from home with no where to go and no help from frontier. And our refund could be expected within two weeks. All I could think of is how I hoped everyone there could find funds to purchase another ticket to where they were going. Because last minute tickets are crazy expensive. I will never fly frontier again!!!! They gave me a $100 voucher off my next flight with them but I’ll never use it!!!

I had a great experience boarding at Cleveland traveling to Orlando. This was a first flight ever for my older sister and her 13 year old daughter. The frontier experience was 5 star! One of your employees really stood out to me prior to our boarding his name is Robert. He was friendly and informative along with his coworker I'm sorry I didn't get her name she is Asian and a friendly professional. Also the flight attendant was relaxed and thorough in his care of all on board. The pilot was top notch as we had to be rerouted and experienced turbulence due to weather. The rest of my traveling party have made the flight experience before but this was the first time with frontier. We will fly and recommend frontier! Thank you for a happy safe memorable travel experience!

I find the site frustrating. You always seem to put the stupid overnight flight first and it is confusing. The last thing I want to do is spend the night in the Denver airport to save money! Post the shortest fastest flights first. In selecting the country I live the USA is at the bottom? I’m quite sure most of the people booking your flights 80% or better are from the US? Put US at top and then list other countries. Your scrolling for date on cc is weird. Numbers are out of line. Crooked? Instead of drop down arrows for the bags I’m carrying why don’t you have boxes to check for one or two with price. I have to keep pressing your cute little arrows to find all of your fees and charges. It’s already ridiculous to pay what all airlines charge for bags. Why don’t you at least speed up the pain with more user friendly push and click boxes. You asked!
Fraudulent carry in fees on correct sized bags

We got charged $120 without any notice on our card after flight. Called and was told because gate charged us for carry on bag. Had only 100% measured and double checked dimensions bags that fit the personal size requirements. They did not check or tell us and just charged. When i explained on phone that this was a mistake they said sorry our policy does not allow refunds and gate agents decision is final. When asked to confirm what measurements gate agent noted they cannot provide which obviously I know because gate agent never measured. Gate agent assumed and charged at will without any mention of such charge at the gate. I could have proven in 5 seconds at the gate that my bags are correct size. This is downright fraudulent way of stealing money from customers who are following every rule and then hiding behind policies and refusing to fix. Both agents and those that allow such rules should be ashamed as your simply thieves. Unacceptable.
Excellent App & Great No-Frills Airline

These reviews are supposed to be for the app and not for the airline. There are a lot of clueless reviewers that don’t understand the basic cheap no-frills airline that Frontier is. Fares and additional charges are clearly posted. In fact it is annoying to have to dismiss the options before finishing a purchase. If you are unable to read and comprehend, that’s your problem. It gets me from Point A to Point B for CHEAP. The app is efficient, well laid out, not cluttered and responsive. Kudos to the developers. A couple of features I would like to see added are: (1) The ability to save frequent routes and (2) Fare alerts when prices for particular routes/dates drop.
Boarding pass does not pick up the bags that I purchased

My regular size backpack which is considered a personal item for Spirit Airlines and which fits under the seat on spirit is considered a carry-on ; only a child size backpack is considered a personal item for Frontier. So I ended up choosing their bundle under their perks option for $74 through my computer online which oddly they wanted to charge more money for the bundle through the app on my phone. The perks bundle included a carry-on and a checked bag, a choice in seats and priority boarding. I received a receipt that showed I paid for it but the boarding pass on line through my computer and through the app on my phone both showed that all I paid for was my seat. If it shows the same thing in the morning I’m going to have to check in with the desk and have that straightened out...This is very frustrating. I didn’t think this could happen but they actually make spirit look good.

It took me an hour to figure out how to purchase bags on this app and the website (yes, I tried both). The instructions told me to click “Add Baggage” but that option was greyed out and not click-able. I basically ended up clicking random things until it worked. I had to go through the same adds about purchasing other “perks” about 5 million times before I could even purchase what I needed to purchase, and once I got there, the buttons wouldn’t work. I would click and nothing would happen. I fly Southwest regularly for cheaper, AND I get two free checked bags and two free carry-ons. Plus, to change my flight, Frontier charges $400-$500. Southwest charges nothing. What Frontier charges $90 for and calls “perks”, Southwest calls normal and what I already paid for in my airfare. And Southwest’s flights are still usually cheaper, once you consider all of Frontier’s fees. I will never be flying Frontier again.

App is useless - things that sell you something work fine, things that are meant for “customer service” - I.e. paperless boarding passes, customer service sections with usable contact information, etc. - just don’t work. Good luck talking to a customer service rep if you don’t lie and tell them you’re calling to buy something. The “feedback” form tells you it will take 10 days to get a reply, and the customer service number provided in that section literally tells you it’s a nonworking number if you select the feedback option. So much for the app. The airline is even worse. The people you deal with are rude, the check-ins don’t open unless it’s convenient for the airline and not you, and they are 2/2 in delaying my flights so far. When there are problems the app/company issues mean you can’t get help. I’m telling everyone I know not to fly Frontier under any circumstances.

Why do i have to click through 5 screens to pay for a checked bag. And why are these screens so dense with content that i want to gouge my eyes out? I also checked in at the ticket counter at DIA and she asked me: “did you know your flight is delayed by over 2 hours?” My reply: “no your app has no mention of a delay in any screen about the flight.” I am at the gate now and it STILL has no updates about the delay. Frontier, you do not have to make your customers endure an awful digital experience just because you are a discount carrier. Get your act together, or just remove the app from the store. You look idiotic. Maybe because you are?

Very frustrated to learn, after booking, that any luggage you have has a fee to take with you. They charge more for a carry on, then checked luggage and you’ll be the one carrying and handling your own luggage. And, if you didn’t check in prior to the flight, it will cost you even more! So the deal we thought we were getting, money we were saving, ended up costing us more, than booking with another airline. Which we would have had more accommodation, and no extra fees! There was no complimentary drinks or snacks, every thing had a fee!! Then to make our flight even more unenjoyable, the flight was delayed 4 hours!!! Even the people at the customer service desk were unhappy and unfriendly! Nothing about this airline was enjoyable! The experience was way over priced, too many extra fees, never again will I fly Frontier, and pay for this highly overrated experience!

Last night I called Frontier spent 51 minutes waiting for an agent until I FINALLY Hungup. Called for assistance this morning for Web. Support waited another 25 minutes. Spoke to an agent that I could barely understand. Then being put on. Hold for couple of minutes each time, at least 7 times. Now before the payment there should be an area that shows where to insert a past credit there is none on a IPhone., she wanted me to rebook the reservation on my pc but when I got to the price it doubled another problem is the Works price it changes each time from $79 to $98. That isn’t fair. Needless to say I will look elsewhere for future airlines reservations. Thanks for allowing me to vent.
Mixing phone

Just to let you know I fly frontier all the time.I left a review once before that somebody had taken my phone from the airplane as soon as I got outside the corridor I realized that I left my phone behind. It was left in the pocket of the seat in front of me and I was in aisle 25. So I figure the only person that would have found her phone was that lady from the front of the gate that I told her that I love the phone behind and she went back to get it or the cleaning Stewert s that was up in front of the plane. It was a brand new phone just got a cheeseburger. In any case one of them took it and nobody replied back Thanks Adrian Besu

As I am sitting here waiting for my flight, which has been delayed for a third time now (for a total of 5 hours), the prompt came up asking me to review “Frontier.” If I’m reviewing the app, it’s fine. The airline, however, is awful. This will be my 3rd Frontier flight, and 2 of the 3 have had major delays, and that is consistent with experiences of other passengers here and friends/family members, who warned me not to book through Frontier. Their seats are probably the most uncomfortable of any airline that I’ve experienced, and they nickel and dime you for everything, so the savings by booking through this discount airline are not as great as you would expect in the end. If you have an option of another airline, do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration of Frontier. One star is frankly a generous rating for their “service”, but they didn’t have a zero star option.

For some reason only charged me for part of my reservation, wouldn’t let me check in until I paid the rest, kept clicking to make payment and it kept bringing me in circles. Called the customer service number and it never lets you speak to someone personally and keeps directing you to their AWFUL website. I had to google how to speak to some one directly and you have to SAY “feedback and concerns” and that was the only option that allowed me to speak to someone directly. Don’t select a seat because you have one reserved already for you and the pricing is extra (once again more fees). The guy in the phone Jason had the patience of a Saint because he had to wait with me as the website kept taking us in circles. I will gladly pay extra to never fly this airline again, not worth the hassle and stress to save a few dollars after all the fees.

I spent over 3 hours trying to talk to someone about them overcharging me $100 for luggage. The first frustration came when we weren’t able to click on luggage icon. After attempting to do this using various technology, we called. It took 20 minutes to finally get to talk to someone. We were told we could check in 2 bags for $30 each. After receiving my credit card bill and seeing one charge for $76 and another for $80 I tried to call and visit with an agent. After finally getting to talk to a real person, the lady stated that they can’t refund luggage payments. REALLY??? It was their error overcharging me!! By this time I was frustrated and asked to talk to supervisor. She put me on hold and after 45 minutes of waiting, I hung up. Tried to contact someone again, I was listening to elevator music for 33 minutes before giving up. I will NEVER fly Frontier again.

I’ve already wasted well over 1.5 hours of my work day so I’ll keep this simple. My DOB wasn’t correct. As anyone halfway intelligent knows, it’s imperative your flight info matches your ID. Called to get it corrected. Got transferred to 3 different people (2 of which were managers), all of them had me do the same things over and over. Didn’t work any of the attempts. Still isn’t correct in my profile. I have no idea what to do and am just taking a chance this doesn’t affect me boarding for my flight. I also booked a flight through a third party. The third party didn’t give me the ability to select my seat or add a bag so Frontier was “nice” enough to charge me an inflated fee to do so through their website. Do not expect good customer service or intelligent help if you call Frontier for assistance.

There are so many problems with this website though it has made some improvement. I almost signed out without buying my baggage and seat on the return flight. Nothing to cue me there. I was looking for the return option and had to go back to find it. Then, of course, my updated phone no. Did not stick and I had to re-enter it. In addition, there seem to be 3 profiles for my name depending on caps vs small case-none of which match. That’s not good. Data bases are not melded and add to confusion. Data base errors seem to be the biggest problem on Frontier sites. Unfortunately the customers are putting in that data and your computer does not recognize duplicate info. Big problem.

I bought a plane ticket to go to my best friend’s wedding and I paid for insurance because I know sometimes things come up. The week before I was supposed to go, my cousin passed away, so I decided to stay home for her funeral. I asked for a refund, and they said I needed to provide a death certificate. I did, and they still didn’t give me my money back. I thought it was so insensitive— I paid for insurance and provided the death certificate and they still took my money. Another thing— I forgot my password for the account and kept requesting a link to my email for a new password, and they said it sent but I never got anything. I checked my inbox and my spam and got nothing from them. So I couldn’t log into my account. I tried calling their 24 hour phone service and never had anyone answer my call. Please do not use this company, I really wish I hadn’t.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!! I’ve waited over two hours on the phone numerous times trying to speak to one of your customer service representatives only to have someone pick up that can’t speak English. I think your tactic is to keep people waiting on hold so they just get frustrated lose their money and are unable to communicate with someone that can speak the language properly. Your website and app are not user-friendly, numerous flights and times that I have tried to use credits it does not allow me to do so. Your obnoxious Robo automatic emails are just unacceptable. Also, I don’t understand why you request everyone on the plane to wear a mask but allow passengers to drink and have snacks and remove their masks... it makes no sense! From the beginning to end it was an awful experience.

So. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband booked his flight several weeks ago. He drove 3hours to the airport for a flight for a chance at a job in Denver. He had an orientation class. Thanks to the "policy" he didn't get his flight, probably lost the job, and we may not get refunded the tickets. Due to traffic at the airport he reached the ticket counter three minutes into the "hour before flight". They argued with him about getting his ticket. He could see the terminal and the gate from the counter. This put him five minutes "into the hour" so they wouldn't let him get his ticket and go through security. He explained this was a job orientation at 9am, but they offered a flight "tomorrow". When he requested a manager the manager CONTINUED to argue with him. After this put him well "into the hour" he finally asked for a refund. They refused. So we have to contact corporate for it (fat chance there) and he's probably lost the job because of this. Thank you for helping to continue to keep our family split because this job would finally have helped us get a home again. We will never use your "services" (if you can call it that) again. We will also make sure to let everyone we know to never attempt to fly with you.

Cheapest flights, I just got a one way trip from Florida to New York for 24$! A week before the flight date. Awesome. Do know, it isn’t luxury flying you pay for what you get; no free snacks or drinks, no tv, no reclining chairs, no tv. But who cares on a two hour flight? But I was comfortable enough on my flight and didn’t mind buying a water bottle and brought my own snacks and entertainment. This is the best way to travel back and forth from Florida for me. Also phone support, and all flight crew are some of the friendliest I’ve dealt with while flying. Thank you Frontier! You’ve got yourself a life long customer.
Total confusion

I tried to create account. It refused my password and indicated I didn’t follow the rules of creating a password, when I did! So I tried to start over and I got the same error message. I did this a few times to be absolutely sure I did everything right and followed their rules to the letter. I still got the same error message! So I tried to setup a new profile, and all that did was lock me out. I am usually very good about signing up for sites/apps, so I asked for help from a fellow computer person, much like myself, and they had the same experience. It should not take an hour to sign up! ...and I still do not have my boarding pass. I must assume low fares and confusion go hand in hand. Nope, I have no desire to use Frontier again, after this. Low fares should not be synonymous with having issues with the website.

The website is an easy way to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, there is virtually no way to correct an entry. After making an error, I contacted Frontier. The initial agent I got a hold of did not understand the issue, did not understand the language, and did not want to help. The second agent cited policies and then said they wouldn’t apply but would give us a credit, but never modify the website. After 46 minutes, trying the website and going through two operators who were confrontational, did not communicate well, and we’re not willing to understand, I did get the problem fixed with the third person. It was a simple issue but frontier made it very hard. Disappointing
Awful online process

Both the web and the app are wildly misleading...you have to call to get one of their reps to "update" your "contact" info before you can do anything, even with a paid reservation. If you don't call and speak to someone, you'll never be able to select a seat or enter a known traveler number. What's the point of having an app OR a website? Unrelated to the app: Once you're done paying for the seat, there is little to no savings on the ticket and not at all worth the frustration. Flight itself is similar to any other airline experience. Don't be fooled by the hype about paying for carry ons: nobody looked twice at our personal items, they could have easily been full sized carry ons. Glad I didn't pay for that upgrade.

This app works better than trying to check in online or trying to check in at the little kiosks at the airports. One day, I almost missed my flight because the online and kiosk wouldn’t work so I was told I had to stand in line and talk to an agent to print my ticket. The line was sooo long and I knew there was no way I’d make the flight if I waited there but thank god for this app!! I went on it and it let me check in and gave Me my ticket so I didn’t have to wait for an agent!! Made my flight just in time! Easy to use, clean and well designed app!!
A most horrible experience

I tried to check in online hours before my flight, and the website have an error message when it got to giving me my boarding pass. I go to the ticketing desk for them to issue me a boarding pass, mind you you I already checked in. And the horrible staff told me I already missed my flight, (this is 50 minutes before the flight) and insisted she has to put me on another flight, 8 hours away, meaning I get to my destination in the morning next day, risking missing my meeting and wasting my hotel accommodation. Plus she insisted she won’t print my boarding pass until two hours before the flight which means I’ll just be sitting down at the desk area for hours unable to go inside and eat or anything. NEVER ever, Frontier again, even if there’s no more airline on earth!

The ONLY reason I fly this airline is because they are the only one that flys out of Trenton NJ. SO MANY HIDDEN FEES. I bought my tickets MONTHS AGO, so I can anyone explain to me why I still owe $12 at check in?!?! What is that for?! it said no where what that was for? Why do you guys have to be so scammy. And since when are seats $17. I would think that usually companies don’t want to seem like a scam, but you guys do the opposite. You try as hard as you can to come across as a scam to your customers. So disappointed. I think spirit might even be better at this point, and THAT IS SCARY!

I don’t fly Frontier often but on this most recent trip, there were multiple times where I put in my name and confirmation number and it said that it could not find my reservation. Other times it did. (Before you think I fat-fingered it, I copy and pasted it from my confirmation email each time). I was forced to go to the website to check in which showed that I still had a balance for seat upgrades - when I didn’t. I called them and after 4 minutes holding, I heard a terrible screeching noise and eventually hung up. I called again and after being on hold for 12 minutes, my wife got impatient and went to the ‘new reservation’ route on her phone and had somebody answer right away. They said we had no balance so we were looking at something wrong. We tried again and it wouldn’t let us check in till we paid the additional funds. My wife called again (new reservations option), the rep figured out that we were using Chrome which doesn’t always work. What??!!! Their app doesn’t work with Chrome? What century are they in? Our fight experience was fine. The logistics of getting to the plane, really poor.

Do not fly frontier airlines because they had us delayed from Denver International Airport to The Dallas airport 3 TIMES. So it all started on October 25,2018 that night in the afternoon we got delayed then once we got there there was a gate change and then another gate change then another gate change then we boarded the airplane and the capitan oxygen if we got a oxygen problem then we went out the gate then we pulled up back to the same gate and had to a new gate because the airplane couldn’t take off then we were boarding then there was a boarding problem then we had to wait another 15 min then we started boarding again then they needed oxygen again for the captains then we took off. We took of at 1 or 12 then we got to the Dallas airport at 4:00.😞

it’s unclear of what you’re allowed to bring on the plane but if you plan on just bringing a small back pack or bag that can fit under the seat, you DO NOT need to pay for the carry on bag fee. This is unclear during the booking process and I made the mistake of purchasing this since I had a back pack. It was $45 and they would not give me a refund. Also, I checked in on the app and a couple hours later I got an email saying I’d missed my check in and I needed to check in at the airport for additional fee. Since I already have my boarding passes I’m just going straight to the gate and see what happens. I’ll also ask for a carry on refund and see if they can help me.

The app routinely fails to complete processes - especially purchases. The app mysteriously and suddenly requires a login - like just when you need your boarding pass when you’re in line. I use secure passwords so this is especially painful since the app refuses to integrate with the iOS password saver. This alone forces me to take screen shots to store in photos rather than depend on the app. I’m not exactly sure which is worse - their web site or this app. Both are terrible. Logins to the web site fail the first time then work the second (using a password manager). Seems like a systemic problem in the frontier development team. If they fixed the app login problem ( integrate with Touch or Face ID PLEASE! ) then I’d probably go to 4 stars.

Going out of my way to write a review about this app because it’s such trash. No surprise there, as Frontier is a trash company anyway. Any page in the app that isn’t for booking a flight or getting your boarding pass seems to load directly from their website, which means it doesn’t conform to the size of your phone/tablet screen. When I wanted to submit a question about my mileage account, I get stuck in an endless loop of clicking on a “Feedback form” that only loads more pages about ways to contact them. Seems they don’t want or care about their customer’s feedback. Btw, their miles expire after six months, whereas most airlines miles never expire. Another way for Frontier to screw their customers. Don’t use this app let alone fly with this trash company.

Rating has nothing to do with app. I hate the “upswell” tactics of frontier beyond belief..... here is an advertised cheap flight.....oh you expected normal accommodations like a carryon bag and picking your seat at check in.....that’s going to double your cost of ticket and that’s only if you buy it in a bundle with a checked bag.....check your bag now or get charged more.....we are military and per info on the site get all of that stuff for free....even after opting out still being prompted really really grinds my gears.....I said no. In so frustrated that frointier is a budget airline and really after you buy normal accommodations it’s maybe $20 than delta aa United. It bothers me that the customer base is built on a lie and then charging what a real airline is for 2nd rate service. /end rant

My trip to Denver to visit my daughter was my first time flying Frontier and it was great. The entire experience except for the peanut notification went quite smoothly. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I had to contact customer service to add my known traveler number and the rep was patient, understanding and caring. Keep up the good work. Just remember the potential circumstances to those of us with a dust and ingestion peanut allergy when you say that you are going to make an announcement and do not (I would have just made my own, which I am known to do).

So I understand I’m working with a low price airline but here’s the thing I don’t understand... if you want me to book - why can’t you get the app to work? I’ve tried downloading, updating and starting fresh and for some unknown reason - I cannot I put the date. The date is required BUT the app doesn’t allow me to actually choose a leaving or return date. Seriously?!? I’m not sure if the airline doesn’t want customers? But if they are trying to keep their prices low - they should invest in technology/apps that actually work!! The last time I tried to use this app, there was another malfunction which didn’t allow me to enter the dates.. hmmm. Something really important/necessary really should be debugged in order to ensure the app is working correctly.

Even though I received positive reviews from friends and family I will admit I remained skeptical when it came to flying Frontier. However, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we flew from Portland, Maine to Orlando. The plane was clean, the staff was wonderful (in the airport and on the plane) and the flight was on time. Sure you pay for everything- but how else can you get such a good deal? And, you certainly aren’t pressured to buy drinks or food on board and you can bring your own. I can now say I am looking forward to our return flight!

Booked 6 months in advance, paid for specific seating, received confirmation. Received emails of flight number and time change but not that we were kicked out of our stretch seating that we paid extra for which were right in front of the party we were traveling with. We found out when checking in for our flight that we had no seats. No notifications from Frontier that we did not have the paid for and confirmed seats we were initially told we had. Frontier customer service had no good answers, only excuses. Until I continued to pressure the supervisor did I get seats even close to our party yet still ended up in tight seating on the opposite side of the plane. Also no seats for the return flight. Grrr. BEWARE confirmation with Frontier means nothing.

This is my first time flying with Frontier and I’m hoping the flight home is better that my flight in. When it was time to board the scanner was down and there was only 1 person who had to manually look up every passenger. She was very slow and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. She was also very rude. Once on the plane I thought ok here we go. Nope I look out the window and they are just now loading the luggage. Might I add there were only 2 people working. 2 hours later we finally took off. Our flight was supposed to land at like 11 am it was 2pm before we got to our destination. I have flown many many times and I have never had this much trouble. So I’m hoping the flight home is much better.

This app & their website freezes constantly! Then when you restart the app all your information is lost and you have to restart from scratch. Went to put in my contact information after the page and app both froze and I was locked out of putting in my name. Then the price of the seats changed three times within the hour that I was attempting to complete my transaction. Customer service was horrible. They said the prices do change, but refused to give me the original price I attempted to purchase from in the beginning. If completing my order is this difficult I’m worried about the boarding process and flight. Flew with Frontier a long time ago and enjoyed it. They’ve changed a lot since then and it’s looking for the worse.

I missed my flight because they stop working the ticket counter an hour before boarding at Harlingen, Tx. I had the app downloaded and my flight information was downloaded, but the app wouldn’t pull up my boarding pass, only the fight information. Several other people tried opening the boarding pass as well. I was one of 4 people that missed their flight due to frontiers issues yesterday morning. When I paid $400 for a flight home several hours later with another airline on top of my $100 with frontier, the lyft driver said he picks a lot of people up from the airport after they have been hanging out all day with frontier putting them on canceled flight after cancelled flight. That’s the first and only time I fly with them.

Showed up for my 8am flight out of Providence to TAMPA, people at checkin where GONE. 5 family’s got stuck paying $30 MORE to switch the ticket to a 5pm flight. No apologies, when I try to have a conversation with the woman behind the counter I asked to speak to a manager conveniently she was in a meeting. And then I was told if I had any further issues they would call the police on me... really?? I will NEVER EVER fly this airline. Spoke to airline security and police and THEY said they have been having MANY issues and they were called to the counter YESTERDAY and Frontier was told by the police officer that they need better customer service!! Horrible experience, stuck at the airport till tonight and have to FLY TO ORLANDO.. 1 1/2 from Home! Never again! #CustomerService!

i bought a ticket and fly your airline often. after i bought ticket online. i saw i was charged for carry on. i have no carryon. so i immediately called and someone who i could barely understand said no credit can be given, only a voucher. talked her manager and could understand her less. within 5 minutes i tried to change it and if i take it i will still lose my 39.00. that is a terrible program that you cannot help your customers. you rip them off both ways. profit is business but ripping and not helping people is a sin . i am only one person but i hope anyone who reads this will see how unprofessional you are to your customers.

First time to fly on Frontier and it will be the last. Announced people with small children could board first, so anyone with children from infants to 15 years old rushed forward and barged in line. Yes, people with teenagers were allowed to board first. Then they had a long line for Zone 1 and people just started cutting in line and the staff just allowed it. It was basically a free for all boarding process.

I called a total of five times, was disconnected three of those five times with no call back from customer service and the other two times I was left on hold for over 40 minutes until I decided to hang up. Between this past Saturday and today, I was on the phone with customer service for over 2 1/2 hours to try and get a resolution with my missing miles. After the fifth call, I decided just to give up, use what miles I had for my next flight and never fly frontier again.

I looked at these exact flights 3 days ago to fly my significant other from GA to WA and saved them in my cart 10000 points each way total of 20000 points. I had to confirm the dates for her. I am a CPT/physician in the Army and went to the field for three days worth of training with no phone and returned last night. I go to book the exact same flights today 3 days later and it’s now costing me 40000 points. Honestly that kind of jump is insane. Very disappointed.

I have been to the airport several times to speak to someone about my ticket I call the reservation number and was giving me the runaround I was told that I had to pay $25 for the name change which was fine but then I was told I had to pay $179 for Destination and I’m going to the same place all I needed was the name change then the supervisor told me that I had to pay $119 for cancellationWish I did not understand why wouldn’t the supervisor know that you are advertising no cancellation fee. Booking with frontier has been the worst experience of my life and I have not even boarded the plane yet

I have not even gone to the airport yet and this is already the worst airline I have ever used! I find out the day before that they changed the time on my departure and arrival....without letting me know! Luckily I contacted the booking company and they sent me over to Frontier...they offered no compensation and just said they didn’t know my email address...which I had provided. Since I have booked I’ve talk to 2 people who used Frontier - both had horror stories. Do not think you are getting a cheap flight....if you bring a carry on it’s $55!!!! Worst airline ever. Lastly, a friend of mine flew and said the seats are like sitting on a piece of plastic. Said he would never fly Frontier again...trust me, you will regret it.

I find it ludicrous that a carry on bag is an extra fee, especially when I have spent extra time dealing with a non-user friendly website/app. If it weren’t the only option I have, I wouldn’t be using this airline. I go into the website to book a flight. The price comes up at $46. I indicate I want to carry on a bag. Round trip the cost to carry on a bag is $74. That is more than the roundtrip fare. I decide NOT to carry on a bag, I back out and redo my flight and the price goes up to $120. How does the flight jump $46?? I log out, go back in and the price is $46 again. This is my first time flying frontier. Overall a good experience. Easy check in and once we got the right confirmation code, the process for baggage and online check in was pretty easy. Only complaint is there were 3 of us flying and they put us on opposite sides of the aisle. With 3 seats to a row, it would have been preferable to all be on same row and seems it would have been safer for others.

I bought seats on a flight and they sold the exact same seats to someone else as well. They refuse to refund my cost as they are “nonrefundable”. Took 3 phones to get that answer. I had to change my password like 5 times and every time I want to log in I can’t because it says is a wrong password. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!! I’ve waited over two hours on the phone numerous times trying to speak to one of your customer service representatives only to have someone pick up that can’t speak English. I think your tactic is to keep people waiting on hold so they just get frustrated lose their money and are unable to communicate with someone that can speak the language properly. Your website and app are not user-friendly, numerous flights and times that I have tried to use credits it does not allow me to do so. Your obnoxious Robo automatic emails are just unacceptable. Also, I don’t understand why you request everyone on the plane to wear a mask but allow passengers to drink and have snacks and remove their masks... it makes no sense! From the beginning to end it was an awful experience.

I've had nothing but problems with the Frontier's website, it seems to glitch more than it works, I look forward to a new program as this doesn't work for me. In today's age it's so easy to come up with a smooth website, what is wrong with Frontier? I fly United, American, Delta, Southwest, and occasionally Qantas and I've never had to deal with such a remedial website like Frontier's.

This company is untrustworthy. Offering credit for canceled flights due to COVID 19. Claiming 24 hr service with phone number that puts you on a tree that says they are closed after hours. Extended wait times and call volume that exceeds their capacity. How do consumers get their needs met when there is no costumer service. Send an email with a promise of 10 return but receive Nothing.

I’ve never encountered any website worse than this one. I can navigate other airlines with ease, and this is one reason I stopped using Frontier. Today I was cancelling a flight to Florida which was supposed to automatically give me a voucher for another flight. Nope. Not working. So I have to call—I’d called earlier and after 20 minutes of holding, a severe screeching occurred and I disconnected. Frontier should update their systems!

App doesn’t tell you if your flight is cancelled. Drove all the way to the airport with a rental for the app to undo my check in, then once I tried to re-check in I got an error. Once I was at the gate they then told me my flight was cancelled. Screw this, super unprofessional

This is the WORST airline that has ever existed. They changed my flight date and time without my permission, they did not want to refund my money using the pandemic as an excuse. The people that work for frontier are just so rude. Then I accepted to get another flight 4 months later and they did the exact same thing where they chanced it but this time they changed it to the same day departure and arrival but I was only going to be at my destination for 50 minutes. It’s ridiculous. The planes was so uncomfortable, they smell really bad, and the personnel is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend it to anyone. Stay away from this airline! They NEVER give your money back.

This is at the bottom of airline apps in my opinion. Even when logged in, you have to have your confirmation code to retrieve your booking. What’s the point of having a profile then? I always seem to have to re-enter information that is saved in my other airlines app profiles, like email address, known traveler number... Seems clunky, cumbersome and not intuitive at all. Isn’t the point of the app and having a profile to make it simpler and more streamline? Total fail.

I used to fly frontier a few years back and didn’t think they were that bad. Let me tell you this airline is trash. What airline has a million hidden fees after you book your ticket? This one. What airline has the worst check in process for your flight EVER? This one. You book your flight but if you want an assigned seat you pay extra, carry on bags extra, no free checked bag. Attempted to check in but the website doesn’t work so I had to download the app just to check in. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little extra on an American Airlines, delta, southwest or any other airline. These guys will end up charging you enough to have booked with a better airline in the end anyway ✌️Never Again Frontier.

Our flight was changed from a Sunday to the Friday before. I called and asked why and they gave no explanation. I found out that due to Covid they had to reduce the amount of flights. That is a reasonable explanation. Also the plane departed 3.5 hours late with no reason why. Now I went to check-in because our return flight is tomorrow and in order to check in I had to pay another $35.00. Why??? Once again no reason why. The flight itself was very good. Nice crew. Will see how tomorrow goes.

My son is flying with me tomorrow Milwaukee to Vegas with his emotional support dog . We went to the doctor had all the paperwork filled out and paid $80 for a Health certificate from his vet . And uploaded it 4 times for them to keep saying they need a health certificate. When all the paperwork is in one upload.. so we can’t get through to anyone on the phone.

Some people really don’t like to pay for a carry on bag, neither do I really. The great thing is you can always find a quick trip for a few days and carry a personal bag. That means no waiting in line at the airport and the price is fantastic! My daughter and I took a quick get away that I selected from one of the email deals for less than $200! Total! Round trip for 2 ! You can’t beat that. Even if you need more luggage just buy the bundle that includes carry on , checked bag and premium seats. You will still pay less than other airlines most of the time. JUST Do NOT take a suit case that exceeds the weight or size because you will pay the fine! This cuts down on fuel costs for the plane. Plain and simple.

This app cost me my flight back with perk bundle, another ticket with another (but reliable) airline and a hotel night. I checked in online few hours prior to my MIA to PHL. I have TSA Pre check, when I got there, the app would not load my flights or find my boarding pass. This used to happen at times, the app would have forget who I was. This time, it was critical and the app kept giving me an error. Come to find out, other passengers on the same flight had the same issue. We headed to Frontier counter 35 minutes before departure, no one to be found, we were told by other airlines representatives that frontier personal left about 15 minutes prior!! We called frontier, after a looong wait, we were told that we will miss the flight, that the flight is not refundable, we have to pay a $110 fee to be placed on another flight 2 DAYS LATER!! other passengers managed to get a credit for their missed flight, I was not as lucky, and person I spoke with told me IT WAS MY FAULT TO TRUST THEIR APP WITH MY BOARDING PASS!! To add insult to injury, frontier lost my suitcase on the way to MIA (direct flight). They found it yet 5 days after my flight and I am still waiting for my bag back. I will never FlyFrontier again. Do yourself a favor and print your boarding pass or at least take a screenshot. Better yet spend a little more and travel with a real airline in peace.

Careful about being mislead by this app like I was today. Yes, you can check into your flight early, pay for your baggage, and pick your seat. However, there is a catch-22. Frontier attempts to sell you a package deal that includes a checked in bag, carry-on, and the ability to pick a seat, but makes it seem instead like you’re signing up through the app for an account. I made the mistake of going through all these motions without realizing that I was buying a package deal. How I really got screwed was when I showed up to the airport and the attendant let us know that our “carry-on” items were small enough that we wouldn’t have had to pay fees to bring them aboard. I later inquired about a refund for those two items and was told that they could not do so because I bought it as a package. I feel so ripped off! If I had just checked in my baggage at the airport and taken a randomly assigned seat, then I would have spent maybe less than $60 instead of $120. Frontier is bordering on committing fraud with this app and I’d even recommend that Apple yank it from the store so nobody else gets scammed by it like I did.

We arrived at Denver airport at 3:45 am for 7:00 am flight. We actually arrived 3 hrs ahead of schedule for domestic flight with 2 kids 3 year and 6 years. We checked in online but just to drop the bag and car seat checkin staff made us wait for almost 2 hrs. Then security lines were so lengthy.. as we were going through security requested the flight was going to leave in 40 mins TSA agents said all the flight were late and they would wait for passengers. As we ran to the gate 7 mins before the departure time gate was closed the agent boarded and cannot open the gate even the flight was right at the gate ..we requested the agent and said cannot do and sent to the rebooking agent only to let us know that there were no flights until next day. For some passengers in the line with us were told 2-3 days stranded in Denver and frontier airline would not provide any accommodation s well. Worst ground staff in flight was okay no issues. Ground transportation staff and Denver Security check is unbelievablely bad Thanks Hari

I was booked for a trip out of Santa Barbara to Denver then to Chicago. I have a brain injury and had wheel chair assistant due to my injury. Our flight was delayed for 6 hours at Santa Barbara which is were my daughter lives. I was going to reschedule my flight but was given a phone number to the hotel. This with the airport assistant made me feel comfortable enough to continue my travel. At the Denver airport was when we were told there was going to be no hotel. Thank God one other person was in the same situation as I was. My assistant took me to McDonald’s for food then took me to our gate. So from 11:00 PM till our fight at 6:30Am I was left with a stranger. We slept on the floor for a few hours. I was afraid to leave for food the next morning. Needless to say I was dissatisfied with the lack of communication about no hotel. My safety wasn’t a concern of your airline. My back still hurts after two days. I hope after this review your company will take others with disabilities into consideration before making decisions that could put them in a potentially dangerous situation.

At the checkin there was a male and I am assuming he was from Jamaica who was very impatient with us. We had even got our bags to the checkin before he was asking for our boarding passes and I’d cards. He stated that the boarding passes we had (which we printed the day before) would not work and through our boarding passes in the trash and after we presented our I’d cards proceeded to print out new boarding passes and our baggage claim tickets. The flight personnel and cabin crew where not friendly at all and continuously knocked my shoulders (which where wider than the sear backs) every time they came by and hit my right leg which I had placed on the outside of the seat in front of me as I had a brace on that leg and did say excuse me or I’m sorry the whole time that they hit my leg or my shoulder. By the way and I didn’t tell them but I have undergone reverse shoulder surgery on both of my shoulders/arms and I really don’t expect to get hit every time they pass me
Delayed flights and Dirty Seats

I just flew home on frontier yesterday. I had a connection in Denver. Both of my flights were delayed. But what bothered me most was the dirty seats on my first flight out of Austin. When boarding I noticed that the entire row of seats I was in were full of crumbs including the floor. When I brought it to the attention of the flight attendant she just explained that children had been sitting there on the previous flight and handed me some paper towels to clean the seats myself. She mad no attempt to help me nor did she apologize for the seats not being cleaned before we boarded. An airline not cleaning the seats and floors between flights is not only unprofessional but it is unacceptable. And for the flight attendant to not even be concerned that the seats were not cleaned is unbelievable. It felt disgusting to sit in these seats and put my bag under the seat in front of me with so much food crumbs on the carpet. I really don’t want to fly frontier again nor would I recommend it to anyone!

Hi once a passenger is on the plane the service and condition of aircraft is similar if not better than other airlines. The booking , the bag and seat fees, availability of representatives, your fee for only a 24 hr fundable change or cancellation is poor and lack of scheduled flights, rates Frontier below Southwest which also started building its frequent customer base calling itself a Discount airline. It is silly to assume passengers , other than one day business persons , fly without luggage or families who need to sit together. If an individual needs to get to point A to B without any luggage , Frontier is a good choice. If it flies on the days convenient to the airline. I hope that as you make more and more profit, Frontier will consider allowing one piece of luggage free per ticket booked , or free seating and for the 15 $ fee allow changes or cancellations at least up to a week from departure. Thank you for a friendly staff and fresh operating aircrafts.

We arrived at the airport at 5:15 for our 7:15 flight. After two delays we received a text message from the company that the flight had been canceled. 35 minutes later an employee finally came out to announce the cancellation. As we started asking questions like “will we get our money back” or “do you have any more flights going out we can get on” each time a piece of paper was picked up and shaken in our faces and were told to read the paper just like everyone else. Worst service ever!!!!!! We were all states away from home with no where to go and no help from frontier. And our refund could be expected within two weeks. All I could think of is how I hoped everyone there could find funds to purchase another ticket to where they were going. Because last minute tickets are crazy expensive. I will never fly frontier again!!!! They gave me a $100 voucher off my next flight with them but I’ll never use it!!!

I had a great experience boarding at Cleveland traveling to Orlando. This was a first flight ever for my older sister and her 13 year old daughter. The frontier experience was 5 star! One of your employees really stood out to me prior to our boarding his name is Robert. He was friendly and informative along with his coworker I'm sorry I didn't get her name she is Asian and a friendly professional. Also the flight attendant was relaxed and thorough in his care of all on board. The pilot was top notch as we had to be rerouted and experienced turbulence due to weather. The rest of my traveling party have made the flight experience before but this was the first time with frontier. We will fly and recommend frontier! Thank you for a happy safe memorable travel experience!

I find the site frustrating. You always seem to put the stupid overnight flight first and it is confusing. The last thing I want to do is spend the night in the Denver airport to save money! Post the shortest fastest flights first. In selecting the country I live the USA is at the bottom? I’m quite sure most of the people booking your flights 80% or better are from the US? Put US at top and then list other countries. Your scrolling for date on cc is weird. Numbers are out of line. Crooked? Instead of drop down arrows for the bags I’m carrying why don’t you have boxes to check for one or two with price. I have to keep pressing your cute little arrows to find all of your fees and charges. It’s already ridiculous to pay what all airlines charge for bags. Why don’t you at least speed up the pain with more user friendly push and click boxes. You asked!
Fraudulent carry in fees on correct sized bags

We got charged $120 without any notice on our card after flight. Called and was told because gate charged us for carry on bag. Had only 100% measured and double checked dimensions bags that fit the personal size requirements. They did not check or tell us and just charged. When i explained on phone that this was a mistake they said sorry our policy does not allow refunds and gate agents decision is final. When asked to confirm what measurements gate agent noted they cannot provide which obviously I know because gate agent never measured. Gate agent assumed and charged at will without any mention of such charge at the gate. I could have proven in 5 seconds at the gate that my bags are correct size. This is downright fraudulent way of stealing money from customers who are following every rule and then hiding behind policies and refusing to fix. Both agents and those that allow such rules should be ashamed as your simply thieves. Unacceptable.

These reviews are supposed to be for the app and not for the airline. There are a lot of clueless reviewers that don’t understand the basic cheap no-frills airline that Frontier is. Fares and additional charges are clearly posted. In fact it is annoying to have to dismiss the options before finishing a purchase. If you are unable to read and comprehend, that’s your problem. It gets me from Point A to Point B for CHEAP. The app is efficient, well laid out, not cluttered and responsive. Kudos to the developers. A couple of features I would like to see added are: (1) The ability to save frequent routes and (2) Fare alerts when prices for particular routes/dates drop.
Boarding pass does not pick up the bags that I purchased

My regular size backpack which is considered a personal item for Spirit Airlines and which fits under the seat on spirit is considered a carry-on ; only a child size backpack is considered a personal item for Frontier. So I ended up choosing their bundle under their perks option for $74 through my computer online which oddly they wanted to charge more money for the bundle through the app on my phone. The perks bundle included a carry-on and a checked bag, a choice in seats and priority boarding. I received a receipt that showed I paid for it but the boarding pass on line through my computer and through the app on my phone both showed that all I paid for was my seat. If it shows the same thing in the morning I’m going to have to check in with the desk and have that straightened out...This is very frustrating. I didn’t think this could happen but they actually make spirit look good.

It took me an hour to figure out how to purchase bags on this app and the website (yes, I tried both). The instructions told me to click “Add Baggage” but that option was greyed out and not click-able. I basically ended up clicking random things until it worked. I had to go through the same adds about purchasing other “perks” about 5 million times before I could even purchase what I needed to purchase, and once I got there, the buttons wouldn’t work. I would click and nothing would happen. I fly Southwest regularly for cheaper, AND I get two free checked bags and two free carry-ons. Plus, to change my flight, Frontier charges $400-$500. Southwest charges nothing. What Frontier charges $90 for and calls “perks”, Southwest calls normal and what I already paid for in my airfare. And Southwest’s flights are still usually cheaper, once you consider all of Frontier’s fees. I will never be flying Frontier again.

App is useless - things that sell you something work fine, things that are meant for “customer service” - I.e. paperless boarding passes, customer service sections with usable contact information, etc. - just don’t work. Good luck talking to a customer service rep if you don’t lie and tell them you’re calling to buy something. The “feedback” form tells you it will take 10 days to get a reply, and the customer service number provided in that section literally tells you it’s a nonworking number if you select the feedback option. So much for the app. The airline is even worse. The people you deal with are rude, the check-ins don’t open unless it’s convenient for the airline and not you, and they are 2/2 in delaying my flights so far. When there are problems the app/company issues mean you can’t get help. I’m telling everyone I know not to fly Frontier under any circumstances.

Why do i have to click through 5 screens to pay for a checked bag. And why are these screens so dense with content that i want to gouge my eyes out? I also checked in at the ticket counter at DIA and she asked me: “did you know your flight is delayed by over 2 hours?” My reply: “no your app has no mention of a delay in any screen about the flight.” I am at the gate now and it STILL has no updates about the delay. Frontier, you do not have to make your customers endure an awful digital experience just because you are a discount carrier. Get your act together, or just remove the app from the store. You look idiotic. Maybe because you are?

Very frustrated to learn, after booking, that any luggage you have has a fee to take with you. They charge more for a carry on, then checked luggage and you’ll be the one carrying and handling your own luggage. And, if you didn’t check in prior to the flight, it will cost you even more! So the deal we thought we were getting, money we were saving, ended up costing us more, than booking with another airline. Which we would have had more accommodation, and no extra fees! There was no complimentary drinks or snacks, every thing had a fee!! Then to make our flight even more unenjoyable, the flight was delayed 4 hours!!! Even the people at the customer service desk were unhappy and unfriendly! Nothing about this airline was enjoyable! The experience was way over priced, too many extra fees, never again will I fly Frontier, and pay for this highly overrated experience!

Last night I called Frontier spent 51 minutes waiting for an agent until I FINALLY Hungup. Called for assistance this morning for Web. Support waited another 25 minutes. Spoke to an agent that I could barely understand. Then being put on. Hold for couple of minutes each time, at least 7 times. Now before the payment there should be an area that shows where to insert a past credit there is none on a IPhone., she wanted me to rebook the reservation on my pc but when I got to the price it doubled another problem is the Works price it changes each time from $79 to $98. That isn’t fair. Needless to say I will look elsewhere for future airlines reservations. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

Just to let you know I fly frontier all the time.I left a review once before that somebody had taken my phone from the airplane as soon as I got outside the corridor I realized that I left my phone behind. It was left in the pocket of the seat in front of me and I was in aisle 25. So I figure the only person that would have found her phone was that lady from the front of the gate that I told her that I love the phone behind and she went back to get it or the cleaning Stewert s that was up in front of the plane. It was a brand new phone just got a cheeseburger. In any case one of them took it and nobody replied back Thanks Adrian Besu
App is fine; Airline is awful

As I am sitting here waiting for my flight, which has been delayed for a third time now (for a total of 5 hours), the prompt came up asking me to review “Frontier.” If I’m reviewing the app, it’s fine. The airline, however, is awful. This will be my 3rd Frontier flight, and 2 of the 3 have had major delays, and that is consistent with experiences of other passengers here and friends/family members, who warned me not to book through Frontier. Their seats are probably the most uncomfortable of any airline that I’ve experienced, and they nickel and dime you for everything, so the savings by booking through this discount airline are not as great as you would expect in the end. If you have an option of another airline, do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration of Frontier. One star is frankly a generous rating for their “service”, but they didn’t have a zero star option.

For some reason only charged me for part of my reservation, wouldn’t let me check in until I paid the rest, kept clicking to make payment and it kept bringing me in circles. Called the customer service number and it never lets you speak to someone personally and keeps directing you to their AWFUL website. I had to google how to speak to some one directly and you have to SAY “feedback and concerns” and that was the only option that allowed me to speak to someone directly. Don’t select a seat because you have one reserved already for you and the pricing is extra (once again more fees). The guy in the phone Jason had the patience of a Saint because he had to wait with me as the website kept taking us in circles. I will gladly pay extra to never fly this airline again, not worth the hassle and stress to save a few dollars after all the fees.
Impossible to talk to ANYONE

I spent over 3 hours trying to talk to someone about them overcharging me $100 for luggage. The first frustration came when we weren’t able to click on luggage icon. After attempting to do this using various technology, we called. It took 20 minutes to finally get to talk to someone. We were told we could check in 2 bags for $30 each. After receiving my credit card bill and seeing one charge for $76 and another for $80 I tried to call and visit with an agent. After finally getting to talk to a real person, the lady stated that they can’t refund luggage payments. REALLY??? It was their error overcharging me!! By this time I was frustrated and asked to talk to supervisor. She put me on hold and after 45 minutes of waiting, I hung up. Tried to contact someone again, I was listening to elevator music for 33 minutes before giving up. I will NEVER fly Frontier again.

I’ve already wasted well over 1.5 hours of my work day so I’ll keep this simple. My DOB wasn’t correct. As anyone halfway intelligent knows, it’s imperative your flight info matches your ID. Called to get it corrected. Got transferred to 3 different people (2 of which were managers), all of them had me do the same things over and over. Didn’t work any of the attempts. Still isn’t correct in my profile. I have no idea what to do and am just taking a chance this doesn’t affect me boarding for my flight. I also booked a flight through a third party. The third party didn’t give me the ability to select my seat or add a bag so Frontier was “nice” enough to charge me an inflated fee to do so through their website. Do not expect good customer service or intelligent help if you call Frontier for assistance.

There are so many problems with this website though it has made some improvement. I almost signed out without buying my baggage and seat on the return flight. Nothing to cue me there. I was looking for the return option and had to go back to find it. Then, of course, my updated phone no. Did not stick and I had to re-enter it. In addition, there seem to be 3 profiles for my name depending on caps vs small case-none of which match. That’s not good. Data bases are not melded and add to confusion. Data base errors seem to be the biggest problem on Frontier sites. Unfortunately the customers are putting in that data and your computer does not recognize duplicate info. Big problem.

I bought a plane ticket to go to my best friend’s wedding and I paid for insurance because I know sometimes things come up. The week before I was supposed to go, my cousin passed away, so I decided to stay home for her funeral. I asked for a refund, and they said I needed to provide a death certificate. I did, and they still didn’t give me my money back. I thought it was so insensitive— I paid for insurance and provided the death certificate and they still took my money. Another thing— I forgot my password for the account and kept requesting a link to my email for a new password, and they said it sent but I never got anything. I checked my inbox and my spam and got nothing from them. So I couldn’t log into my account. I tried calling their 24 hour phone service and never had anyone answer my call. Please do not use this company, I really wish I hadn’t.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!! I’ve waited over two hours on the phone numerous times trying to speak to one of your customer service representatives only to have someone pick up that can’t speak English. I think your tactic is to keep people waiting on hold so they just get frustrated lose their money and are unable to communicate with someone that can speak the language properly. Your website and app are not user-friendly, numerous flights and times that I have tried to use credits it does not allow me to do so. Your obnoxious Robo automatic emails are just unacceptable. Also, I don’t understand why you request everyone on the plane to wear a mask but allow passengers to drink and have snacks and remove their masks... it makes no sense! From the beginning to end it was an awful experience.

So. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband booked his flight several weeks ago. He drove 3hours to the airport for a flight for a chance at a job in Denver. He had an orientation class. Thanks to the "policy" he didn't get his flight, probably lost the job, and we may not get refunded the tickets. Due to traffic at the airport he reached the ticket counter three minutes into the "hour before flight". They argued with him about getting his ticket. He could see the terminal and the gate from the counter. This put him five minutes "into the hour" so they wouldn't let him get his ticket and go through security. He explained this was a job orientation at 9am, but they offered a flight "tomorrow". When he requested a manager the manager CONTINUED to argue with him. After this put him well "into the hour" he finally asked for a refund. They refused. So we have to contact corporate for it (fat chance there) and he's probably lost the job because of this. Thank you for helping to continue to keep our family split because this job would finally have helped us get a home again. We will never use your "services" (if you can call it that) again. We will also make sure to let everyone we know to never attempt to fly with you.

Cheapest flights, I just got a one way trip from Florida to New York for 24$! A week before the flight date. Awesome. Do know, it isn’t luxury flying you pay for what you get; no free snacks or drinks, no tv, no reclining chairs, no tv. But who cares on a two hour flight? But I was comfortable enough on my flight and didn’t mind buying a water bottle and brought my own snacks and entertainment. This is the best way to travel back and forth from Florida for me. Also phone support, and all flight crew are some of the friendliest I’ve dealt with while flying. Thank you Frontier! You’ve got yourself a life long customer.
Total confusion

I tried to create account. It refused my password and indicated I didn’t follow the rules of creating a password, when I did! So I tried to start over and I got the same error message. I did this a few times to be absolutely sure I did everything right and followed their rules to the letter. I still got the same error message! So I tried to setup a new profile, and all that did was lock me out. I am usually very good about signing up for sites/apps, so I asked for help from a fellow computer person, much like myself, and they had the same experience. It should not take an hour to sign up! ...and I still do not have my boarding pass. I must assume low fares and confusion go hand in hand. Nope, I have no desire to use Frontier again, after this. Low fares should not be synonymous with having issues with the website.

The website is an easy way to purchase tickets. Unfortunately, there is virtually no way to correct an entry. After making an error, I contacted Frontier. The initial agent I got a hold of did not understand the issue, did not understand the language, and did not want to help. The second agent cited policies and then said they wouldn’t apply but would give us a credit, but never modify the website. After 46 minutes, trying the website and going through two operators who were confrontational, did not communicate well, and we’re not willing to understand, I did get the problem fixed with the third person. It was a simple issue but frontier made it very hard. Disappointing

Both the web and the app are wildly misleading...you have to call to get one of their reps to "update" your "contact" info before you can do anything, even with a paid reservation. If you don't call and speak to someone, you'll never be able to select a seat or enter a known traveler number. What's the point of having an app OR a website? Unrelated to the app: Once you're done paying for the seat, there is little to no savings on the ticket and not at all worth the frustration. Flight itself is similar to any other airline experience. Don't be fooled by the hype about paying for carry ons: nobody looked twice at our personal items, they could have easily been full sized carry ons. Glad I didn't pay for that upgrade.

This app works better than trying to check in online or trying to check in at the little kiosks at the airports. One day, I almost missed my flight because the online and kiosk wouldn’t work so I was told I had to stand in line and talk to an agent to print my ticket. The line was sooo long and I knew there was no way I’d make the flight if I waited there but thank god for this app!! I went on it and it let me check in and gave Me my ticket so I didn’t have to wait for an agent!! Made my flight just in time! Easy to use, clean and well designed app!!
A most horrible experience

I tried to check in online hours before my flight, and the website have an error message when it got to giving me my boarding pass. I go to the ticketing desk for them to issue me a boarding pass, mind you you I already checked in. And the horrible staff told me I already missed my flight, (this is 50 minutes before the flight) and insisted she has to put me on another flight, 8 hours away, meaning I get to my destination in the morning next day, risking missing my meeting and wasting my hotel accommodation. Plus she insisted she won’t print my boarding pass until two hours before the flight which means I’ll just be sitting down at the desk area for hours unable to go inside and eat or anything. NEVER ever, Frontier again, even if there’s no more airline on earth!

The ONLY reason I fly this airline is because they are the only one that flys out of Trenton NJ. SO MANY HIDDEN FEES. I bought my tickets MONTHS AGO, so I can anyone explain to me why I still owe $12 at check in?!?! What is that for?! it said no where what that was for? Why do you guys have to be so scammy. And since when are seats $17. I would think that usually companies don’t want to seem like a scam, but you guys do the opposite. You try as hard as you can to come across as a scam to your customers. So disappointed. I think spirit might even be better at this point, and THAT IS SCARY!
Flakey App - Frustration on Multiple Fronts

I don’t fly Frontier often but on this most recent trip, there were multiple times where I put in my name and confirmation number and it said that it could not find my reservation. Other times it did. (Before you think I fat-fingered it, I copy and pasted it from my confirmation email each time). I was forced to go to the website to check in which showed that I still had a balance for seat upgrades - when I didn’t. I called them and after 4 minutes holding, I heard a terrible screeching noise and eventually hung up. I called again and after being on hold for 12 minutes, my wife got impatient and went to the ‘new reservation’ route on her phone and had somebody answer right away. They said we had no balance so we were looking at something wrong. We tried again and it wouldn’t let us check in till we paid the additional funds. My wife called again (new reservations option), the rep figured out that we were using Chrome which doesn’t always work. What??!!! Their app doesn’t work with Chrome? What century are they in? Our fight experience was fine. The logistics of getting to the plane, really poor.

Do not fly frontier airlines because they had us delayed from Denver International Airport to The Dallas airport 3 TIMES. So it all started on October 25,2018 that night in the afternoon we got delayed then once we got there there was a gate change and then another gate change then another gate change then we boarded the airplane and the capitan oxygen if we got a oxygen problem then we went out the gate then we pulled up back to the same gate and had to a new gate because the airplane couldn’t take off then we were boarding then there was a boarding problem then we had to wait another 15 min then we started boarding again then they needed oxygen again for the captains then we took off. We took of at 1 or 12 then we got to the Dallas airport at 4:00.😞

it’s unclear of what you’re allowed to bring on the plane but if you plan on just bringing a small back pack or bag that can fit under the seat, you DO NOT need to pay for the carry on bag fee. This is unclear during the booking process and I made the mistake of purchasing this since I had a back pack. It was $45 and they would not give me a refund. Also, I checked in on the app and a couple hours later I got an email saying I’d missed my check in and I needed to check in at the airport for additional fee. Since I already have my boarding passes I’m just going straight to the gate and see what happens. I’ll also ask for a carry on refund and see if they can help me.

The app routinely fails to complete processes - especially purchases. The app mysteriously and suddenly requires a login - like just when you need your boarding pass when you’re in line. I use secure passwords so this is especially painful since the app refuses to integrate with the iOS password saver. This alone forces me to take screen shots to store in photos rather than depend on the app. I’m not exactly sure which is worse - their web site or this app. Both are terrible. Logins to the web site fail the first time then work the second (using a password manager). Seems like a systemic problem in the frontier development team. If they fixed the app login problem ( integrate with Touch or Face ID PLEASE! ) then I’d probably go to 4 stars.
Trash App from a trash company

Going out of my way to write a review about this app because it’s such trash. No surprise there, as Frontier is a trash company anyway. Any page in the app that isn’t for booking a flight or getting your boarding pass seems to load directly from their website, which means it doesn’t conform to the size of your phone/tablet screen. When I wanted to submit a question about my mileage account, I get stuck in an endless loop of clicking on a “Feedback form” that only loads more pages about ways to contact them. Seems they don’t want or care about their customer’s feedback. Btw, their miles expire after six months, whereas most airlines miles never expire. Another way for Frontier to screw their customers. Don’t use this app let alone fly with this trash company.

Rating has nothing to do with app. I hate the “upswell” tactics of frontier beyond belief..... here is an advertised cheap flight.....oh you expected normal accommodations like a carryon bag and picking your seat at check in.....that’s going to double your cost of ticket and that’s only if you buy it in a bundle with a checked bag.....check your bag now or get charged more.....we are military and per info on the site get all of that stuff for free....even after opting out still being prompted really really grinds my gears.....I said no. In so frustrated that frointier is a budget airline and really after you buy normal accommodations it’s maybe $20 than delta aa United. It bothers me that the customer base is built on a lie and then charging what a real airline is for 2nd rate service. /end rant
My first experience

My trip to Denver to visit my daughter was my first time flying Frontier and it was great. The entire experience except for the peanut notification went quite smoothly. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I had to contact customer service to add my known traveler number and the rep was patient, understanding and caring. Keep up the good work. Just remember the potential circumstances to those of us with a dust and ingestion peanut allergy when you say that you are going to make an announcement and do not (I would have just made my own, which I am known to do).

So I understand I’m working with a low price airline but here’s the thing I don’t understand... if you want me to book - why can’t you get the app to work? I’ve tried downloading, updating and starting fresh and for some unknown reason - I cannot I put the date. The date is required BUT the app doesn’t allow me to actually choose a leaving or return date. Seriously?!? I’m not sure if the airline doesn’t want customers? But if they are trying to keep their prices low - they should invest in technology/apps that actually work!! The last time I tried to use this app, there was another malfunction which didn’t allow me to enter the dates.. hmmm. Something really important/necessary really should be debugged in order to ensure the app is working correctly.

Even though I received positive reviews from friends and family I will admit I remained skeptical when it came to flying Frontier. However, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we flew from Portland, Maine to Orlando. The plane was clean, the staff was wonderful (in the airport and on the plane) and the flight was on time. Sure you pay for everything- but how else can you get such a good deal? And, you certainly aren’t pressured to buy drinks or food on board and you can bring your own. I can now say I am looking forward to our return flight!

Booked 6 months in advance, paid for specific seating, received confirmation. Received emails of flight number and time change but not that we were kicked out of our stretch seating that we paid extra for which were right in front of the party we were traveling with. We found out when checking in for our flight that we had no seats. No notifications from Frontier that we did not have the paid for and confirmed seats we were initially told we had. Frontier customer service had no good answers, only excuses. Until I continued to pressure the supervisor did I get seats even close to our party yet still ended up in tight seating on the opposite side of the plane. Also no seats for the return flight. Grrr. BEWARE confirmation with Frontier means nothing.

This is my first time flying with Frontier and I’m hoping the flight home is better that my flight in. When it was time to board the scanner was down and there was only 1 person who had to manually look up every passenger. She was very slow and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. She was also very rude. Once on the plane I thought ok here we go. Nope I look out the window and they are just now loading the luggage. Might I add there were only 2 people working. 2 hours later we finally took off. Our flight was supposed to land at like 11 am it was 2pm before we got to our destination. I have flown many many times and I have never had this much trouble. So I’m hoping the flight home is much better.
Most Unfriendly App Ever!

This app & their website freezes constantly! Then when you restart the app all your information is lost and you have to restart from scratch. Went to put in my contact information after the page and app both froze and I was locked out of putting in my name. Then the price of the seats changed three times within the hour that I was attempting to complete my transaction. Customer service was horrible. They said the prices do change, but refused to give me the original price I attempted to purchase from in the beginning. If completing my order is this difficult I’m worried about the boarding process and flight. Flew with Frontier a long time ago and enjoyed it. They’ve changed a lot since then and it’s looking for the worse.
Missed my flight

I missed my flight because they stop working the ticket counter an hour before boarding at Harlingen, Tx. I had the app downloaded and my flight information was downloaded, but the app wouldn’t pull up my boarding pass, only the fight information. Several other people tried opening the boarding pass as well. I was one of 4 people that missed their flight due to frontiers issues yesterday morning. When I paid $400 for a flight home several hours later with another airline on top of my $100 with frontier, the lyft driver said he picks a lot of people up from the airport after they have been hanging out all day with frontier putting them on canceled flight after cancelled flight. That’s the first and only time I fly with them.

Showed up for my 8am flight out of Providence to TAMPA, people at checkin where GONE. 5 family’s got stuck paying $30 MORE to switch the ticket to a 5pm flight. No apologies, when I try to have a conversation with the woman behind the counter I asked to speak to a manager conveniently she was in a meeting. And then I was told if I had any further issues they would call the police on me... really?? I will NEVER EVER fly this airline. Spoke to airline security and police and THEY said they have been having MANY issues and they were called to the counter YESTERDAY and Frontier was told by the police officer that they need better customer service!! Horrible experience, stuck at the airport till tonight and have to FLY TO ORLANDO.. 1 1/2 from Home! Never again! #CustomerService!
