by childsoldier23 on 2021/11/30 08:49
this is hands down the most intuitive DAW on mobile platforms. this app allows me to create actual music from scratch, instead of prebuilt loops. id love to share some of what ive done to inspire others to get this app. well worth the five a month especially because its regularly updated with new sound packs and other great stuff. its come a long way in the few years ive had it and i simply love this app. 100 percent recommended.
Great Sound
by musical munkey on 2021/11/28 20:06
Practice daily, engage in the community, explore the sounds. You will enjoy it and succeed! Have to dig a little in a non conventional way to make different sounds but some of the sounds through headphones are amazing.
Speachless

It’s phenomenon. What can I say?
Very instrumental!!
by Re Neutron on 2021/11/26 12:42
As a novice of “music theory”, Auxy has been a very instrumental tool!
Amazing
by Grandmattyp on 2021/11/25 15:44
This app is amazing! I’ve used it since the beginning of lockdown, and I can say that the quality is undeniable. It looks professional, and it can be used to make amazingly professional and complex music, which is incredible for a phone app! I think my favorite part about this app, though, is that it’s totally accessible to anyone! I had zero knowledge of any computer or phone apps before I got Auxy, but I didn’t need it, since it’s so dead simple. At the same time, though, the skill ceiling is incredibly high, and you can take this app to an amazing level! 10/10, this is the best beat sequencer on the App Store! Also, check out the Auxy discord, there’s a lot of good feedback and fun on there!
Just Wow
by Bootleg Rocket Engineer on 2021/11/15 16:13
Before I found this gift from god, I really needed some app that I could easily write music on, with no stress. There were a lot of apps that could do that, but they all had messy and complicated interfaces that were difficult to use, and lagged a lot. Also some were meant for professionals, which I am far from. When I found Auxy, it was mind blowing. A simple interface with great features; lag free and stress free. There are a lot of cool features, and Auxy makes them all so simple, even enough for some 2 1/2 braincell guy like me. Much epicness. One thing however is that there is like no instruments for non-subscription users, so I’d be nice if you’d give us a batter piano or guitar. Maybe even a new synth. Other than that this is one of my favorite apps in the world.
Wow
by Deeznuts☝🏽️ on 2021/11/15 13:30
It’s a good app but you have to have a subscription in order to have at least good beats they only give you 2 free samples lol
Subscription? Are you kidding me?
by unitazz on 2021/11/07 13:03
I downloaded this thinking it was going to be the usual kind of thing: get the basic functionality for free, pay for “in-app purchases” if you want to do anything useful. Fine. I would even willingly pay $30 for an app like this. But after downloading, a message pops up, telling me I can use it free for 7 days, after which it’s $7 per month. If I was a professional music producer using this in my work, or used it on a daily basis, it wouldn’t be so bad, but the app is advertised as being fun for the casual user, i.e. someone who might pull it up every once in a while for some noodling around and then forget about it for a few months. Months during which I’m shelling out $7 and getting nothing in return, unless I keep canceling my subscription. Seriously? Either let the user know this app is aimed at pros/serious users, or sell it at a more reasonable price for casual users.
Like it…but
by games of blades on 2021/10/31 21:38
Now I don’t really have anything against the app or the people who made it, actually I really enjoy it. Being able to kinda experiment with music is pretty cool especially since it’s something that I’ve been thinking about doing for a decent amount of time…that being said I really wished that we didn’t have to pay to essentially use the full app, and it feels kinda scummy and sad that we have to pay truly use a app that’s kinda for people to experiment around with. I understand that it’s a paid app and no one said it was going to be free, but surely you could make profit off of this really cool app without having it feel scummy in a way like ads or something I don’t exactly know but surely something else could work. But overall I still really do like this app and even if you can’t change it then that’s understandable but I really wish you could do something else so doesn’t really feel scummy to a lot of people

5.99 a month to play with loops? Go get garage band!
Freaking awesome
by Avid 90's Pokefan on 2021/10/27 14:38
Auxy got me back into making music (-: the last time I used it was way back in 2014 or so, and it’s made HUGE leaps forward since then. Honestly wish they would release a desktop DAW with the same principles but more depth. I’m obsessed!!!
Absolutely AMAZING
by Saintly_0ne on 2021/10/27 12:42
Bro just get it it’s worth it. It’s so easy to use and is super powerful, and basically taught me the fundamentals of music prod. I had no idea what reverb, distortion, high/lowpass, delay, or even what vibrato was until I started using Auxy. It rewards you for just messing around with things (also when you look at instruments sometimes there’ll be more stuff for you to mess around with). User-friendly? Especially. Powerful? Absolutely.
SUBSCRIPTION BASED = trash
by Botedgamer on 2021/10/25 15:43
i just dislike paying for something over and over. and thats just not you but any company that follows a subscription based model. i didnt even bother to try the free trial but just straight deleted and uninstalled.
So this bug is kinda cool
by poor ol boy on 2021/10/23 13:31
Sometimes when I load into Auxy it has a weird zoomed out display. But now I kinda want it as an actual setting. Could you do this?
How do I start other than paying
by Lil disgraces on 2021/10/20 23:47
I can’t find out how to do ANYTHING. I’m not willing to pay on something that I don’t even now how to use. This is the second time downloading the app for me, both times I couldn’t find out what to do. I REALLY want to find a good music making app, but this one was sorta close.
Money. Hungry.
by ZERO D4Y on 2021/10/16 18:08
I won’t lie, it’s a good looking app that runs super smooth. There are so many sound options! … locked behind a paywall. A subscription paywall. A monthly subscription paywall. Normally that’s almost to be expected but as for what you can do without a subscription… it’s almost nothing. It’s criminal to say this app is free. You get about 4-6 sounds to use for free and get teased with hundreds more just sitting there. You’re really forced to pony up the cash for the subscription or delete it.
Subscription only?
by Chicken_Madness on 2021/10/15 21:00
Nope
Amazing❣️
by DJ chel$ on 2021/10/15 16:19
At first wasn’t sure but then I was like wow it’s a pretty good app and it’s fun it keeps me motivated to create music in my Free times :)☺️☺️
Fails As Useful Composition App
by Bleikr on 2021/10/15 04:05
Adware disguised as a music creator. Look around - there are apps that do everything and more absolutely free, with no constant begging by the developer.
subscription doesn’t matter much you can make good songs with the free sounds
by joel9000 on 2021/10/14 21:19
i dont know why this app has so many bad reviews seriously i’ve made so many decents songs on this app with my very limited amount of sounds all you need to do is learn how the app works which im guessing these people didn’t try
Fine DAW but glitch that makes it unusable.
by PFTB on 2021/10/13 07:40
I’m going to cut straight to it, there’s a bug here that makes the app basically unusable. Even though I’m fully paying for my subscription and I have full proof of it, 9 times out of 10 it locks me out of instruments saying I don’t have it, and “restore purchases” does nothing. It’s a shot in the dark on whether the app works or not and it’ll lock me out in the middle of making a song. If this keeps going on I’ll have to find a different DAW, *please* fix this.
Nice little glitch I found
by D411K on 2021/10/10 00:43
Apparently I found a little glitch that allows you to get 4 different track beats then of course stops working, not intirerly sure if that is a feature or not but if it is nice way on get getting the FULL app Also it is just a copy and past sort of glitch, just copy the sound track you want then paste into a different song platform. Still this app is 5 stars. Edit: Can you add a audio visualizer please? Edit2 I got a song with me called “copied” just changed it to “copied, haha lol” when I saw the locks pop up! Still five stars! ;)
An absolute game changer
by Constanze Amalie on 2021/10/04 02:22
This app has become my go to for all music production on the go. While it does require a $5 subscription, the quality is well overpaid for. For many years I've seen Auxy change and I can definitely say that I will be there for years to come. This app has definitely change the way I make music and has become an essential creative app for all of my devices.
Auxy is great
by FlameNotLame on 2021/10/03 17:24
This app is amazing but the only problem I have is that you have to pay money for sounds. I get the point is to get money but maybe adding a feature where you have to watch like a few ads for one sound might be a great idea, because you still make money from it. But users could still have the choice of buying everything all at once by paying money. Just a suggestion though, awesome app :)
So… AWESOME
by josiel torres on 2021/10/02 17:49
I used To Use Garage Band BUT THIS APP IS MORE SIMPLE! Auxy Creators Thank You For Making This App :D -Hugs And Hugs JT
NOT VERY GOOD!!!!!
by trippe59 on 2021/10/01 15:37
So while I was playing I could not even make a good beat I have to pay $5 really each month my mom would never do that and this is a rip off sorry PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!
Amazing
by Salem Kane on 2021/09/28 20:30
I really enjoy this app and i feel like i can actually make progress with it. But one thing that would make this even better is if you could use MIDI controllers, making music would be more efficient and would make a great addition to the app.
MORE MORE MORE MORE PARAMETERS!!!!!!

A formal review about an app that has gone downhill in the past 3 years
by coolroger07 on 2021/09/19 00:54
Dear Auxy Developers, I have just downloaded this app, I like how easy it is to use, and how simple it is. Unfortunately, I can only use one sound that I like. And there are like, 3 other sounds for me to use. I have looked at the reviews, and I have thought about it, apparently this app used to be free with plenty of completely free tracks, and optional one time purchases. They helped the app thrive. And now a lot of people have left it’s community because they can’t afford to pay 60$ a year due to the now 3 year old subscription service. 60$ yearly is an insane price for a mobile app. I’v looked at you’re responses to others with this same complaint, either telling them that it’s not free, or just straight up mocking them because they didn’t agree with the direction you have decided to bring the app (which mind me, is uncalled for). One thing I didn’t see you say in you’re responses is why exactly did you change to a subscription when you seemed to be doing just fine with PLENTY of FREE tracks, and OPTIONAL in app purchases. A lot of people did indeed pay for those extra tracks, because they only had to pay once. I even saw a reply on one of the reviews from you saying that a subscription could help you lower the price of the app in the future. That was a couple years ago, and I don’t see any price drops let alone any extra free tracks. Please tell me, why are there not anymore free tracks being added to maybe encourage people to pay for the app? I would happily pay 5$ once for this app, maybe 10$, that price monthly is too much to ask. Basically, you’re subscription idea is really just a case of fixing something that ain’t broken, people were happy to use the app how they were, and all of a sudden that was take away. I also saw you tell someone that apparently the term loyal customers means people who pay for an app. That is no where near the correct answer. Loyal customers can be people who give feedback to help improve the app, such as the people who wrote those one star reviews telling you that you were losing customers because of the subscription. The people who wrote those comments were loyal customers. They had used your app for a long time some even bought the one time payment sounds, and you decided to just tell them that they can still access their purchases but will need to pay monthly for everything else. In the Bible greed is a sin, and I indeed see greed in this app, it has happened to plenty other apps and companies as well, to name a few big ones: Nintendo and there online subscription, which they never implemented until the old president of Nintendo left the company. Xbox and PS5 games are now 10$ more, even though they did perfectly fine at the price of 60$. Apple Arcade now exists, which is a monthly subscription which locks apps behind a MONTHLY paywall, an expensive one at that. It would seem similar things have happened to this app... Quite sad to be honest. Lots of people are upset and you just mock them, that just shows how you went from a caring developers to greedy ones. Do not go giving me the responses “We had to keep the company alive”, or “this is a premium app”. Because this app did great before the subscription service. I hope you take time to think about this, it would make me happy. Maybe you could add more free tracks for us to use? Sincerely, ShinyMew76
Disgusting
by puremm on 2021/09/18 16:39
More or less a cheap shot at music making software with a 7.99 a month charge for something I can do on a free application.
Why
by Exploding mustache on 2021/09/12 06:01
This was such a good app that I will now never use again because it is now the music equivalent of a pay-to-win game :(
It is okay but you need to put more free beats and samples
by aquiten on 2021/09/11 22:57
Those good stuff are supposed to be paid and I don’t really have money, so can y’all just give us more free samples
Good app, one suggestion though
by Chickenpot3.14159265358979... on 2021/09/09 16:02
Hey there! You did a very good job at making this app. I bought the subscription within two weeks, and no regrets so far. I have a suggestion though. You should make an option where all notes are open for play, not just the notes of one scale, so that I am able to play chords like the devils interval. I have had lots of fun using this app and making digital music that closely resembles the Stranger Things theme song. Keep up the good work! -me Hi! Thank you for the response, and all the help. The advise you gave was really useful, and I hope to use the chromatic feature as soon as I possibly can. I have one suggestion, I don’t know if it is possible or even necessary, but here it is anyway: maybe you can add an option to reverse notes and play the instruments backwards. Sometimes I have trouble transitioning between scenes, and maybe if you could play the scene backwards then use an impact for the next scene it would have a good effect. And maybe you can have a loop in the background that is playing backwards. Keep up the good work, you have made an amazing app. -me
Its great but…
by Bankai_Wielder on 2021/09/08 18:05
All i gotta say is I absolutely hate that its a subscription based thing id much rather pay like 10-20$ maybe even more to just have access to everything rather than the like 6 bucks a month
Looks cool but…
by Mightyzach on 2021/09/05 19:44
It looks cool but I’m looking for a free game so I can make a beat and send it to friend. You get it.
Truly fantastic
by Stormtroopers78 on 2021/09/03 16:17
For the free part of this app that you get, it’s pretty fantastic. No limits to what you can do, no restrictions on the tools for the sounds (there are about 13 base *instruments*, you get some bass, some leads, some drum kits, some plucks/mallets; the basics/essentials) the only thing you would be paying for (if you do/did) is the extra 10,000+ instruments that increase your genre availability range for $6/month. Overall, great for the free part, and if you feel like spending $6 a month, then you get 10k more instruments to mess with 👍 definitely recommend for music making
A game changer in mobile DAWs
by VokonMusic on 2021/08/31 22:30
I have used auxy since around 2014, and have gotten to know the ins and outs of this app in that time. Everything about it, from the UI to the sound design itself, is incredible. Not only is the app great though, but the community as well. Many of my best friends online are from the auxy collective discord, and it’s truly amazing to see such a concentrated amount of talent in one area. As well as this, the auxy staff repost songs they like, which is a really great way to keep in touch with the community and reward experimentation. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another mobile daw where the community put together a full on awards ceremony for people who make music with the app. As well as this, working with groups or collabs is incredibly easy and efficient too. Being a member of many groups and collabs in both auxy and FL Studio, i can safely say that Auxy is the better of the two when it comes to collaborations. This is mainly due to the fact that there are no VSTs in auxy, but it’s also just because the projects can be shared through a link as opposed to a file. Incredible work lenberg, and I can’t wait to see what you do next with the app! - Vokon
It’s okay.
by Shinebox👊 on 2021/08/30 13:54
It’s a great creation. I just think that it should be less restricted. Almost all the sounds are blocked. I can’t afford to buy the premium or whatever it’s called, so I can’t get all those sounds. So please try and fix that. Thank you:)
Another truly solid app required by subscriptions
by --> Sko <-- on 2021/08/23 23:06
Make no mistake … this is a really good app. I applaud the effort. However, like so many other apps, greed will drive it into the ground sooner than later … which is sad. Subscriptions for these kinds of apps are an App Store cancer. Look no further than the version history … people are expected to pay $5/mo or $45/year (before tax) for tweaks and fixes that should be included in the price of the app. Subscriptions should pay for NEW content and features *every* month — not to fix or tweak aspects of the app that should be fixed to make it work as expected. Again - this is a truly great app. However, I will not use it because people shouldn’t have (or be expected) to pay for the SAME features over and over and over again. **Note: Some months have included awesome news content/features. But for a subscription based app, brand new content/features should be added every single month. Otherwise, subscriptions take advantage of people who don’t (or forget to) cancel and end up paying for the same features repeatedly. When I subscribe to a monthly magazine, I get NEW content every month … not the same articles with spelling and grammar corrections along with a few new articles every 2-3 months.
Another subscription… really?
by 👍😎😎👍😎😎👍 on 2021/08/21 04:31
Let me just get to the point, ok? Cool. So I get the app thinking “OH WOW FINALLY A NORMAL MUSIC APP WITHOUT A FRICKING SUBSCRIPTION” BUT NOPE, every app I get is just subscription after subscription after subscription and so on. I wish the App Store would go back to the old days y’know with Angry Birds and Where’s My Water or apps that just give you adds and you don’t have to pay for anything, but for some reason people don’t like that way any more and they want money FASTER. Okay I get it you need money, I’m a 13 year old child so I know how that feels. You probably think I’m being sarcastic but no, I have to buy my own toothpaste, my own toothbrush, my own soap, my own clothes, my own school supplies, and the list goes on. So anyways, don’t recommend this app unless you’re fine with buying the subscription Has potential ngl
Bought subscription, 100% worth it. App needs some minor tweaks.
by Zoie Knoch on 2021/08/18 07:33
Love this app and bought a subscription (100% worth it). THANK YOU TO THE APP DEVELOPERS for finally adding an ‘Undo’ button!!! Will keep paying for this.
Why

The app is really really great, but...
by Threeheadedeel on 2021/08/10 05:43
I’ve made some really cool music in this, and I’m actually using it to make music for an actual video game my friend is making. Though, when I made some really good music, and I tried to send it to my friend, it seemed he had to download the app to hear it. There was a link to something when you click “more” but lots of different friends said it didn’t work.I don’t think I’ll be able to send it to him, and I’m not sure if he can even use the music now.
Make ur instructions better
by TheMightyNighty on 2021/08/06 23:00
I think it’s a good game, based on all the reviews I really think it’s a great game. But right when I started it just said, “click here to play instrument.” So I did what any logical person would do so I clicked it. And I just had no idea on what I had to do. So I started pressing everything I could see and I just didn’t know what to do. So what I want to tell you is that u need to make your instructions more clear.
Mixed opinions
by Benoman34 on 2021/08/04 18:35
I have mixed opinions about this app. On one hand I think it’s really great and cool, but on the other hand there’s a lot of stuff that I don’t like about it. Things I like: It’s fun and simple to use and easy to create really nice songs. The songs that come with it are pretty cool an offer A wide range of sonic possibilities. Things I don’t like: it’s based off of a monthly subscription instead of a one and done purchase, which irrationally infuriates me. There’s no midi functionality so you can’t use external synthsin your projects. You can’t do real time playing with a keyboard, because there isn’t one. If you could at least consider changing these things it would be greatly appreciated.
Bring back Drip effect :(
by Fenderb0y on 2021/07/26 20:39
Been using Auxy since the first-Classic version but it’s missing the effect Drip which is on the classic version :/ that effect was the one I mainly would use to make my beats and it’s saddening how Auxy Jam nor Auxy 6.6 have Drip. Please bring that effect back :(
No, no, no!
by GreatAzu on 2021/07/20 01:13
I hate this app!!! I have to do a free trial!!! And the app is not free after the trial!!! I experienced it with VideoPad on my family’s home computer!!! So unfair!!! Get Medly instead!!! Edit: To the developers: The reason why I despise it is because I don’t want 2 subscriptions at once. It’s okay. Some people just have to rage over certain apps.
Great app
by Jonas C Florsd on 2021/07/18 23:55
I have been using this app for a quite a while now but one thing that I think it really needs is the option to change the speed of individual measures. I was working on a song and I want the song to end with a it slowing down and the pitch dropping, but otherwise I love making music with this app it’s really simple and I love it!
Sad ):
by ,mobg on 2021/07/18 00:55
The app is an all, but like, spending 5$ every month? You don’t even get to choose much things in the app because you have to pay for it, it’s really sad honestly I can’t make really creative things because there’s not many choices ):
Great to a certain extent
by FunnyBoy 45 on 2021/07/06 17:48
This would be a great app but this app has been out for about 6 years well at least since I been using this and you guys still haven’t ever added a way to add our vocals in. Even Medly has a feature to add your own vocals except that app crashes way to much for me to enjoy using. Update this finally :/
Love it

Cool App. Cool app to push out a new melody to back new lyrics.
5 stars. No question.
by Mr. MechBurgerYT on 2021/06/22 03:27
Auxy is easily a 5-star app. I see zero problems with the already expansive features, and highly intuitive interfaces that make it all accessible. There are a few things I'd like to see, however. The first one's a big one. •The current drum UI is only tuned to single-pitch drums, and I think that making a UI similar to FL Studio's would be extremely helpful. Or maybe like how the melodic instruments are currently. Have one instrument take up the whole "instrument" part, and just have an interface similar the melodic interface when you open it. Instead of having multiple instruments locked to one pitch(or having to stack the same instrument and set them to different pitches, which can be tedious), have one instrument set to one "loop", and of course have the ability to duplicate it, change it, etc. while still having the ability to make a new loop set to a new instrument within the same "instrument". Furthermore, you could have the option to set an instrument like this, or like the traditional way. I know that may have been hard to read, but that's the best I could put it. •(FIXED) Whenever the volume is increased beyond 100% for any given instrument, a compressor-sounding effect is added. Please remove this compressor. FL Studio does a great job at mixing, and I think the sound could take from that. UPDATE: Thanks for fixing this! I had no idea Auxy had some master effects on it already. Making this optional was actually the better move rather than removing it; I'll say that. You guys are awesome! •Maybe up the instrument capacity to 24 or 32 instruments? •More key signatures, please! Phrygian, Blues, Mixolydian, as many as possible. If anything, add Phrygian. •More pianos and flutes!
I am so grateful 🥲

So my brain hates trying to figure out avid and cubase and I don’t have a computer, so auxy is perfect for me. It’s unbelievably great that i have the opportunity to write music on a simple yet powerful interface and use quality sounds and samples. Also i’m working on some music and i hope to release it i plan an album you’ll know when i do 😉

My friends have this app and it looks cool and I would be fine for paying for it because I have 5 dollars but WHY MONTHLY!? It would be really nice that you could also just pay once and have it. I only have 8 dollars so I can’t do monthly because it would be like only 2 months. PLEASE MAKE A PAY ONCE OPTION

Actually Great!
by jusanotherrandomgi on 2021/06/10 21:26
I’ve been using this about for about a year now and lemme just say, this app is almost perfect! Its very intuitive, and there’s very little restriction on what you can and can’t export, even on the demo! I have a few complaints though. For one, you are restricted to exactly 4/4 time signature, and this isn’t much of an issue to most but there have been moments when I’ve been unable to properly compose a song I had in mind. Another issue I have with it is that you cannot set the pitch of each instrument individually. I’d very much like the ability to go as low or as high on the scale as I want because I always seem to be just short of the note I want. Third, and more recently, the demo tracks from the news tab used to let you edit them and copy and paste their instruments freely. But as of today at least, that feature is gone and I was using it for a song I’d been writing prior. It’s frustrating to say the least.
This app is going down hill, and it’s a shame.

06/01/2021 Review!! (Sycao)
by IGN: MobileBrawler on 2021/06/02 03:40
App is Amazing! If your a Music Prod. or just want to mess around.. This app is the right to do. Free To Get? : Yes! But limited to demo Instruments.. at the start.. Has A Subscription? : Yes! A 5$ monthly Subscription! (This DOES have a trial to unlock almost everything to try out before your 5$ monthly starts.) After that, Everything’s just awesome! If you feel open enough to the devs of this app, you can help them by monthly buying them a “Supreme Starbucks Coffee” to keep them awake and active to develop this amazing app!! Aka the subscription.. You can Always cancel this subscription in your settings if you are running low on “Your” budget..
Where are the time signatures??
by spinetunes on 2021/05/30 18:08
I love this app so much but 4/4 is so boring. I want to compose music in 5/4, 6/8, 23/10, and I want to be able to switch time signatures in songs. This app is amazing, but I feel so limited by 4/4 time
THE Mobile DAW
by MusicDev on 2021/05/26 22:20
This app is amazing, has been amazing for the past 3-4 years I’ve been using it. The devs are really good at implementing feedback, there’s a vibrant community around the app, and in between versions, there are always new sound packs. This isn’t so important anymore, as you can make your own, but the ones that come with the app are VERY good and pretty customizable. I could go on, but to keep this snappy, I’ll just list the good and the bad with the app: The Good - Very out of the box. You download the app and you can hit the ground running, there are more than enough samples to work with. - Many different mastering settings. Not quite to the level of Logic or Ableton, but you can create some pretty good-sounding tracks with just the app. Ableton would really only be needed for a bit of a touchup. - Easy to use. There’s a small learning curve, but no matter where you’re at in the learning curve, you can still be very productive with the app. It’s surprisingly intuitive for an app that can do so much. - Fully-fledged export options. As of 6.6, this app does almost everything you could want it to do, and this includes exporting individual tracks, a gripe I’ve had with it for a while. - Try before you buy! Utilize that free trial to see if this really is the app for you. The Bad - You can only make music in 4/4. Yeah… - Relatively high storage requirements. This really isn’t a gripe I have, or even a ‘bad’ thing about the app, but it is something to note. You’re downloading a mobile DAW. You should have a few gigs to spare. - Subscription. Look, I do know first-hand what the economics of selling apps on the App Store look like. And for a pay-once app, often, the finances just don’t work out for the dev. This is a niche community, and there are only so many people who will buy the app. I hate subscriptions, but the devs need to eat. Nevertheless, this is something to be aware of. - Can’t change time signature in the middle of the song. This is kind of related to the time sig problem above, but they are two different features that are currently absent as of 6.6. I hope this helps. Just don’t forget that this is NOT a mobile replacement for Ableton/Logic on a laptop/desktop. This is a separate tool, albeit a very good one. If you want to take music creation mobile and want a better experience than the clunky GarageBand for iOS, this is by far the best the App Store has to offer. Don’t forget to submit those tracks to the Auxy team ;) you might get featured!
Better, but still a little disappointed.
by guy with an apple pencil on 2021/05/19 16:52
This app really is great. Just a note; like every other app out there, you have to subscribe to use almost 90% of their content. I understand that this is their way of making money, and it IS still better then most other ‘free’ apps for making music. Just remember this before you get it. Sorry if this seems a little negative.
Easily my favorite and most-used app
by j m o o r e 1 0 4 on 2021/05/18 07:21
I've been using this app for about 5 years since I found it by accident on the App Store. Before that, I created music... in my head. But this has given me the opportunity to actually put songs together, and they actually sound good (to me anyway!) thanks to all the high-quality sounds included and ways you can manipulate them. There's absolutely no reason I wouldn't give this app 5 stars or recommend it to anyone interested in creating music. That said, there are certainly things about the app that could make it easier to use, not the least of which would be simple Undo/Redo functionality – I can't tell you how many times I've spent too many hours working on a project, only to nod off and make some very weird changes with my hand still on the touchscreen! But all of the flexibility this app offers far eclipses the list of updates I'd like to see in future releases. And its outright simplicity makes it so easy to get started without any learning curve whatsoever... at least not until you feel ready to delve into the more advanced stuff. Have fun!
Sigh
by itusedtibegood on 2021/05/15 05:16
I remember messing around with this app with many many sounds and let my music side have fun. Now it’s not the same. I would put 1 star but I had so many memories so I’m adding one more. I hate the fact that you need to pay 5 dollars a month. The app used to be free and all the sudden it’s gone. I read PLENTY of reviews and developer responses and i don’t understand why you did this. Yes money but you limit people to literally one f-ing sound and there is like another 100 sounds PER category. Basically the app was AMAZING at first now it’s sadly garbage. I am not willing to spend $45 dollars because it add up too much. I wish there was an one time buy instead. At first I’d pay money for a couple new sounds but now you can’t even use the app without the subscription. Like all these loyal people who were happy are now gone because it’s about the $$$. I’m disappointed.
The best music-making app
by TheDudeAbided on 2021/05/08 03:40
The simplicity of the design allows you to program beats and melodies and start shaping the various parts into songs faster and more intuitively then any other music making app. The recent update added a whole lot of new preset sounds, plus the ability to load your own samples into custom kits, which vastly expanded the audio possibilities here. My go to app for programming nowadays, quite happy with the direction it’s taking. I know some people have complained about the subscription model, but it’s cheaper than Netflix, and I use it twice as much, so I can’t complain really. Again, the low stress environment of working entirely within one app is ace.

by RawRzly on 2021/04/28 04:12
Not sure who this is supposed to be for. People that just want to click a button and make a quick beat or is this aimed toward some one that’s used to working with other DAWs. Anyway it go’s, it’s not exactly what I was expecting. I thought their might be some sort of manipulation of but it really seemed to be more on pushing pre-sets. Again not much of a complaint for someone that’s like oh I’ll make a quick beat for something. Also it really seems to lean heavy towards a certain style. Other then that definitely worth a shot.

Export as studio one project? Wow. Impressive app. Scale integration works just how I want, easy to use. I had a finished demo in bout 5 minutes with this workflow. Only complaint is the piano roll could really use a mode allowing you to press and drag to paint a note and set its length. Currently you have to make the note and resize it. Only thing it’s missing for me, but that little change could make a big difference for a stylus user like me.
I SUPPORT THIS APP BUT ...
by llll peace llll on 2021/04/21 01:57
I love this app and support what you have created here but I do have a few thoughts I’d like to say. Firstly I wish there were more packs that had a very vibrant happy vibe to them that you could really make some beautiful sounds with. Secondly, I know this is very much not necessary but a reverse option For individual instruments or just the entire song would be cool. You can create some interesting sounds by reversing certain notes. Also the new gain option you added underneath the key option is a bit misplaced. I’m sure I’ll adapt after a while but maybe it should be swapped with the key slider. and lastly I’ve spent like a ton of money coming back to this app and taking breaks. I wish that there was like a plan I could pay until I own or something like that because I don’t wanna buy a year and sometimes a month is just not enough time. thank you for creativity. -nick

Needs undo button and more mixing controls
by #The Hen on 2021/04/07 14:07
I’ve been a paying subscriber to this app for a few years now. So obviously I like it a lot. It does sometimes feel a little bit too limiting though. It’d be nice to have more control over samples and also maybe have a mixing page where I can control the gain and volumes of all the channels without 20 taps to switch between them. Also why do we still not have a undo/redo button? It has been years and we still don’t have one.

Nothing else for mobile ideas for me
by rat a pat on 2021/03/13 02:48
Everything in this app is simple, it almost has a minimalist vibe as far the interface is concerned, and to me it seems like Auxy is built for Ableton users to quickly get ideas out. Or maybe it’s just that for this ableton user it’s the best. I love this app so much, I really can’t hype it up enough. The piano roll is super responsive and the whole thing has been stable on my phone even when there are 8+ tracks with automation. My finished workflow rarely includes only Auxy sounds but a lot of the sounds are workable with the proper mixing and production techniques. Bouncing sessions to the cloud takes time as one might expect but it’s well worth the convenience of being able to make music on the go or while bedridden due to crippling depression ;) It’s also much easier to punch notes into a piano roll rather then click them or quick key them in a computer daw, I find. I tried probably 30 daw apps and kept running into the same issues. Clunky interface, unresponsive piano roll, a phone app trying way too hard to be a full daw. There is an enormous palette of drum sounds and a complete pallete of most basic synths.
Simple yet deep, but some design issues
by artfoundry on 2021/02/25 06:02
Interface is beautifully simple and easy to use. The few sounds I heard were good. Nice that you can both create loops and then also string the loops together to create a song. Don't like the subscription idea though - just let me buy sound packs. There will be time I won't be using the app, so I don't want to be paying for it when I'm not using it! And I don't want to have to start and stop the subscription over and over. Also would want it to communicate with/record other music/audio apps on my device like other apps can do (like GarageBand). (Update in response to dev response): ok then if not selling sounds, what about either selling app up front (instead of free) or limiting features (like the ability to export audio/project and set volume above a certain level) until user pays an unlock fee? Second update responding to dev: you could still limit the app and then have an in app purchase to unlock everything. Or go the old route and provide a free limited version and a full version you pay for.
Great app that’s simple to use!
by Hssjjsjskskksksk on 2021/02/25 02:21
I’ve used this app for 2 years now and it hasn’t had any problems! It’s easy to use, and has many sounds and features that are fun to work with. It’s convenient as well if you want to make beats on the go. One feature I would like is the ability to side-chain melodic aspects like Bass, Piano, ETC Other than that, This is a great app for all skill levels. 10/10
Never delete this app, seriously
by Dknukd on 2021/02/22 21:52
Probably the best beat production app to exist. If they continued to update it but still let the older phones access it (like not brick us iphone 6 users out just bc you updated to a newer ios or something), or just do it like they did with the premium update where we can still access the older versions of our projects & choose to update em in the app......basically this is the only app I feel like I’ve mainly been able to use on my phone to make beats for the past couple years ever since Camel Audio got bought by Apple/Garageband & they stopped updating Alchemy Mobile Synth. Please dont lock me out of this one, let older phones access it forever, etc etc, and I swear you will have my business for the rest of eternity.
Pls add this

So I can only say good things about this software , to start off I love the simplicity of how everything works and also they on how you build tracks is amazing , the only thing I would love love love would be having midi compatibility for keyboards and pads
Nearly 5 stars
by Dkrause1313 on 2021/02/07 17:40
The last feature Auxy needs to add for the app to be 5 stars from me is midi importing. Such a nearly perfect app, but it makes things like remixes incredibly time intensive when you can just import the whole song via midi

Hello. I have some suggestions for the app. I think that there should be more dubstep and Lofi/ambient noises in Auxy. Also can u please make it so I can import longer audio into Auxy via the drums. At least 5 min worth of audio. Thank you for your time.

by Vance Evans on 2021/01/23 22:08
This app is fun but without pro you only have a couple sounds. Something I thought that would be cool is being able to import songs from other music apps (such as Amazon music) and be able to listen to the song and tweak it and change the song.

Limitless possibilities
by ShanePetrellis on 2021/01/15 21:08
This app has changed the way I approach music creation. It’s accessible to all levels. I’ve produced over 150 pieces, completing about 15 tracks. Clean sounds, but I wish the piano patches could sound a bit more fragile and organic. With tinkering, it all blends together nicely nonetheless. Good for mental health, relaxing, and a different way of journaling.
- Vokon

-me
Another truly solid app required by subscriptions
by --> Sko <-- on 2021/08/23 23:06
Make no mistake … this is a really good app.
Like it…but

But overall I still really do like this app and even if you can’t change it then that’s understandable but I really wish you could do something else so doesn’t really feel scummy to a lot of people
This is the one... A serious app for serious producers.

Auxy is a really fantastic music app and I’ve loved it since the early days, but I’d been on the fence about finally paying the subscription. I think it’s a decent value though, so I finally warmed up to the idea and decided to dive in and see what I’m missing. There’s a lot of great stuff here and, as an Ableton Live devotee, I find Auxy is a beautiful companion that lets me quickly sketch new ideas whenever they strike. I’ve all the apps, and I can confidently say Auxy is THE BEST music / MIDI sketch pad in existence. It’s SUPER easy to export the project as a Live set and then finish it off using the pro-grade tools on my computer. There’s one drawback however that I would love to see addressed in a future update: You’re locked into the typical 4/4, 16-step sequence. I know this is common for step-sequencer apps, but Auxy is a cut above those in every other way. Unfortunately not with time signature though. They do provide enough options to create a workaround, but when I’m on the go, I really have no patience for that. I just wanna jot that idea down *quickly* ... But if it’s a 5/4 or a 6/8 idea (which mine often are), Auxy is limited.
Was a decent app now it’s a rip off
by didntlikeit on 2020/08/20 15:13
So I’ve had this app for a few years so I can casually make beats. Bought a few of the packs at the time before they updated everything over a year ago. As the app has stopped doing these wild updates I noticed that all the packs I bought have now been switched over to subscription based models. It’s pretty upsetting that I’ve spent over $30 in packs and now I have to re-subscribe for things that were not detailed to be subscription based. This app literally did what adobe did but worse with the subscription mode because the app really didn’t actually improve any functionality in fact I would argue that they’ve scaled back really giving more tools to users. There’s still no import vocals and now only 1/6 of all the songs I’ve been making over the year work now because the packs for sounds are locked because of this subscription model they’ve implemented. I don’t recommend anyone to make any real investments into this app. It’s fun to play around with but this app is missing that professional quality in a finished song and just sprinkled with audio sound packs you have to resubscribe for every year and they’re not cheap. Good luck with this app. I will never ever ever use this app again because it’s now a rip off.
Needs better upkeep
by ucfivovivicufyxt on 2020/11/18 22:50
I’ve used this app for around four years and it has been one of my main tools for music designing. I have always liked it and have gotten quite a bit out of it. It truly makes music making fun and simple. However, the app, much like almost every other app on the store, has a subscription, which it didn’t, when it first started. By now, I’m not surprised and am fine with subscription based apps. But, when the app first started the subscription setup, I’m FAIRLY certain that it said it would release a sound pack every month. And it feels like that isn’t the case anymore. Even then, though, it wouldn’t be a big deal, if you got unique sounds out of every pack. But, when you start to feel like a new pack starts to sound almost identical to past instruments in a different pack, that’s a problem. All in all, it’s a GREAT app but, I feel like it may be taking advantage of its success and delivering less than what it is worth. With that being said, change isn’t impossible and the future of “Auxy” can still shine bright as long as the developers keep carrying its torch.
Great app , couple suggestions
by Music computer guy works great on 2020/12/17 22:56
I love Auxy, the work flow is like a dream work flow I had years ago but lacked knowledge to applicationize it.... anyway, I am a music theory/ Edm knowledgeable person and I found this app on par with any desktop daw with the added bonus of a killer workflow. Bouncing to ableton the instruments don’t transfer so it’s better to do it as stems (or midi and then go recreate all those dope sounds) the audio can be a bit misleading in the app if you bounce straight to mp3 i.e. won’t sound the same on all stereos. To fix, turn your instruments down and rebalance at a lower volume or just re-eq stems in your daw. A cool feature to add would be the ability to do dj effects on the stems or if we could bounce scenes to say something like the notation launchpad app vs going to ableton then to pads for those of us who would like to be able to use the scenes as clips in ableton or similar apps. Love this program, I have made some of my favorite songs right there in the app.
Best Pocket Studio Out There
by AbandonedKingdom197 on 2020/01/27 19:32
Auxy Pro is, by far, the greatest pocket studio I’ve ever worked with. It is very user-friendly and easy to pick up on. I believe that this is an incredibly powerful tool for both beginners and professionals, whether you use it to jot down quick ideas or to write complete songs for the world to listen to. Many phenomenal artists have come from this app. Auxy has hooked many into the art of producing music, and soon will be, I hope, one of of the biggest tools for music production. I’ve been using Auxy Pro for almost three years and I’ve only had great experiences with it. The app has a few demo sounds available to those who don’t want to pay or are unable to pay, so anybody can download the app and make beats without spending a dime. I encourage everybody, whether you’re serious about making music or not, to download Auxy Pro and give it a shot. This app will not disappoint!
Fantastic groovebox app
by iammane on 2020/08/23 14:39
It’s a capable app. Of all the groovebox-esque apps I’ve used over these many years of iOS music making, it might be one of the best. It’s very quick to get ideas down. Now with Live set export you can continue the ideas in a desktop DAW. Edit: I’m reverting to my previous rating. All of the above is still true, but there doesn’t really seem to be any direction on what’s coming next, and features that were discussed well over a year ago haven’t been implemented beyond some very basic controls. I think it’s a great way to introduce people to production, there’s a few things that would make it a must have for me but in the current state it’s a nice sketch pad and that’s about it. I think as a Live user it would be compelling, but if you use any other desktop DAW even as a sketch pad it’s not spectacular (ie, you’ll get midi note data, but if you export midi you won’t get any CC values for automations). These kinds of things make the overall package a little underwhelming.
-nick
Without a doubt, the best music app out there.
by Rave_Grohl on 2020/09/03 05:48
I cant tell you how much I love this app. Ive used it from the start and its grown immensely, only thing I just noticed that I highly suggest is more time signature options, or at least the option to delete or add more bars? Notes? Instead of just 16. Other than that this a serious tool for music productions, I produce most of my music on Pro Tools and this is awesome for either jotting down ideas are creating full parts for songs. Id recommend this beginners and pros. I actually almost exclusively use Auxy for any kind of electronic drums that I need, save for again, times I need a different time signature. The create your own drum kit is amazing, literally thousands of options for percussive pieces to add to your kit.. anything like for a regular DAW would cost at least $50 easy. Seriously, I highly recommend. Can I get an Auxy T-shirt please?
Sent me on my music journey
by Is Le on 2020/06/11 02:54
This app will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve made so many connections, friends, and unique opportunities for myself through it. Auxy is perfectly tuned for beginners in music making, simple enough for normal people who have never mixed in their life to produce good music, and complex enough for more experienced producers to be able to express their creativity freely. It has helped me to accomplish some of my biggest dreams, and I’m not even close to done with it. Another fantastic quality to Auxy is the community surrounding it. Personally, I’ve submerged myself deeply into this community which spans across several websites/platforms. Big thanks to my friends on the community forum page, they’ve helped me so much. Auxy means so much to me and countless others. Thanks so much to the devs and beta testers for making musical journeys such as mine possible. 😁
Best music production app out there!
by Thrash a.k.a MuscleCat on 2020/01/27 05:34
I’ve been using Auxy for just over a year now after my laptop that I used for music production died on me. I used what would best be described as clone of Auxy first but decided to dive into Auxy after which was kinda intimidating at first with its plethora of synth modulating options and detailed interface. But it’s been over a year and what I thought I’d be using to satisfy my need for musicing while I got my laptop fixed has become my primary means of music production, to where I couldn’t justify paying to fix my laptop. Along with it being an awesome program, dev team constantly release new synth and drum packs as well as the amazing improvements that come with every new version they put out. So Auxy gets all the banana stickers 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌
Just Wow
by Bootleg Rocket Engineer on 2021/11/15 16:13
Before I found this gift from god, I really needed some app that I could easily write music on, with no stress.
Quietly one of the Best!
by Guycoolio on 2020/07/03 22:30
I have used Auxy for years and just recently decided to purchase the subscription. Auxy initially seems limited and does not try to emulate classic real world synthesizers, beat machines and effect units. It has no IAA or AUv3. I have NanoStudio 2, Beatmaker 3, Cubasis, AUM, Gadget, etc. All awesome music making apps. So why keep coming back to Auxy? The sound! Programming beats and sequences in Auxy is fairly easy and quick. Tweaking parameters is equally painless and automation works as intended. But what sets Auxy apart is how easy it is to get all instruments and drums in a track to sit properly in a mix! Tuning drums and effects is a breeze. Adding ducking is a simple turn of a virtual dial. Even rearranging loops into a song is not a chore. I just shake my head at how easy it is to churn out quality tracks with Auxy. The technology assists with musical inspiration rather than stifle it. It would be nice if Auxy had a real-time way to input notes (e.g, Kaossilator or Figure). It would also be great if it could be integrated into other DAWs or had more built in effects. But at its core, Auxy is quietly one of the best music applications I have used on any platform. Kudos to the developers.
Powerful DAW
by iThall on 2020/10/31 15:23
I’ve been in music production for a while. More than 10 years. I’ve used more DAWs than I can count. Auxy makes it so easy to get my ideas out of my head and into the software. This app makes music production accessible to everyone. My only wish is that the Devs add a feature to adjust the length of a bar. I like odd time signatures and polyrhythm a lot and it’s very frustrating trying to replicate that with fixed bars. I think this would give the producer a lot more freedom over a time signature feature alone. Edit: I think a copy/paste and undo feature would be a game changer as well. It’s annoying accidentally deleting or moving notes and being unable to put them back.
Amazing
by Grandmattyp on 2021/11/25 15:44
This app is amazing!
Phenomenal Music App!!
by Im_just_a_person_999 on 2020/02/20 22:13
This app is amazing. It’s hard to put into words how well it works to make custom beats and tracks. There are a lot of things that are so good about it and it’s so great to see that this app is easy access. It’s also really easy to understand, so beginners don’t have to worry about all the technical stuff advanced synthesizers use. Absolutely fantastic with music, settings, and all. To the developers, thank you. Without this app, I wouldn’t have been able to get as far as I have with music making. Not to mention I’ve been working with this app ever since mis 2017, so it’s interesting so see how much it’s grown since then. It’s much better though! I really appreciate it :)
Changed the way I make music
by H3X OM3GA on 2020/09/15 08:57
I used to use medly, which is great for beginners and helped me get to where I am now. As I don’t have a PC or a way to get something like FL I’m very limited as to what I can have; Auxy has given me not only a serious upgrade to medlys Limitations but it helped me create a better workflow. With medly I could create a full track in maybe three hours; now I’ve whittled that down to one with auxy. This app handles everything well: from organization to design it nails everything! Although I am a dark mode user I would like a light mode to be implemented (just because why not?) and an easier way to organize tracks (like how medly has “albums”) id like something like sub-tags that can help you organize several more tracks. If I could add images to the tags that could also be quite helpful. These are mostly small cosmetic changes but that just shows how good this app is; I honestly can’t think of many big changes this app should implement (other than maybe different time signatures) And with that I bid you all goodbye; get the app, it’s worth it! -H3X
Im now glad I didn’t post my great review
by Gghggggjtjt on 2020/10/21 11:39
I clicked restore purchases. IT SAID I BOUGHT ONE PACK WHEN YOU NEVER SOLD PACKS INDIVIDUALLY!! It said my “subscription” expired 8 months ago. Yet, i made a new song last week with everything being available. Re: How dare you lock me out of my work after years of loyalty and servitude. I just launched an album on iTunes and was going to heavily endorse Auxy. Kiss that goodbye. Seriously, like 5 years then bam.. $4.99 monthly for access to whats been free for 5 years. You’ve lost your way and I know you won’t turn back. Another soulless music leech in an age of endless SoundCloud artists. Im effective on music strike. When everyone asks why i will tell them Auxy made me loose hope in humanity. Thanks. The only stable thing i had in life is gone. I used Auxy everyday. I would have thrown money at you for any other reason. To steal my creative rights for $4.99 a month. I don’t believe in or trust your company any more. Again, soulless. I attached below the previous review i sent Auxy. Re: You’re DUMB if you DON’T! Simply put, i have launched my career with this app. Nuff said!
Amazing app; worth your time
by Nskabwksbwkabwlwbwkw1 on 2020/08/12 22:46
I’ve been producing for around 7 years now on FL Studio and I decided to download this for on the go producing. I absolutely love this app! I’ve already created 4-5 quality projects and I’m definitely not stopping there! :) This app has so many features for beginners and pros; either way you won’t be disappointed. The only problem I’ve run into is not being able to change the time signature, but from a producer’s standpoint, that’s probably not a big deal for most of the people who download this app. It would be a nice feature in the future, but for now it isn’t very necessary for most of the people this app is intended for. :)
Best music app ever
by AppLover05 on 2020/01/24 21:21
I don’t like traditional music production software very much, it is definitely more advanced in terms of features but it’s harder to use it to just make songs. Auxy is the highest-quality mobile DAW that I’ve used so far, they have a great sound library that gets updated monthly and an amazing user interface. Yes, you have to pay $5 a month to legitimately use the app, but the developers can’t support the app if they don’t have houses to live in. You should definitely get this app if you like making music but don’t want to or can’t use traditional software like FL or Logic Pro. It’s great to use on an iPhone and even better on the iPad.
Best IOS DAW
by gagewill22 on 2020/01/26 02:06
I have had this app for about 6 months now and the subscription for about 4. I had always been trying to make music on mobile but no app satisfied my needs to make music from scratch. I finally came across Auxy. This app has let me produce music legitimately and easily while sounding great. It’s user interface is insanely easy. This app lets you make music without the extra stuff and I have seldom thought of things I needed that Auxy didn’t have. Whether it’s making beats, electronic music, piano instrumentals, soundtracks, and more, Auxy makes it easy to produce all different types of music easily, and legitimately.
Auxy is good
by Cenphon on 2020/02/04 23:01
I like Auxy! It’s the primary app that I use to make music. Even though it is on mobile, it’s better than most PC DAWs too. The design is very intuitive and looks sleek. I haven’t bought a 5$ subscription, but I understand why it’s there, especially because Apple makes developers pay 100$ to keep their app on the App Store each year. Even without the subscription though, the instruments sound great. There are all sorts of automation that I like to use, mostly lowpass, ducker and volume. Overall, Auxy Pro is the best DAW on the App Store. It keeps being improved and new batches of sounds get added each month. Stellar.
It doesn’t get easier
by tffsht on 2020/06/18 08:02
I recommend Auxy to all beginners looking to get started with making music and musicians who find they need to squeeze productivity out of every available minute. I have been recording music for 15 years and auxy is by far the fastest way from start to a finished song. It has it’s limitations. It is not compatible with control surfaces, has no MIDI and it’s sample library is heavy on electronic instruments. *BUT* When you’re finishing one track after the other in public transport on the way to work you’ll be shaking your head with a smile and wondering why you didn’t try it sooner.
Necessity
by SILVER_SKULL_ on 2020/01/25 04:15
If you plan on entering the field of music media there is no better place to start. Not only does Auxy make the process of composing a song easier, but it also delivers a more than satisfactory amount of instruments and sounds to make every song unique. I remember the days when you could tell if a song was made in Auxy just by the sounds, but it has evolved so much since then, and I can’t wait to see where it goes next. I owe my entire future to this app, because it gave me the purest introduction into using DAWs, and it ignited my passion for writing music.
Still five stars! ;)
You’ve been charging me double for my subscription
by Frankcfs1 on 2020/03/18 09:29
I have the a same exact version of Auxy pro on my iPad which I barely use and my iPhone which I use a lot. I’ve been paying the 499 twice every month several years now not knowing and couldn’t understand why every time I throw in a iTunes card it never lasts till I finally went to manage subscriptions where I see a few subscriptions for a few apps I got suckered into and I see Auxy pro twice In the list and no way to tell which subscription is for my phone
Quintessential music creation app
by wagneric on 2021/01/02 04:58
I’ve been using Auxy almost daily for 4+ years to journal whatever’s in my head, spanning various genres from classical to experimental, downtempo, ambient, and noise. I see it as much as a musical instrument as a production app, and with the ability to add your own samples, there are few limits on what you can do, while still remaining self-contained and quick to use. It is clearly a labor of love for the developers, who have worked consistently to maintain and improve it over time. I have no reservations over giving it 5 stars.
Perfectly balanced.
by DeCruz._ on 2020/09/06 00:14
As all things should be. Thinking about subscribing can be scary at first for some, but you first have to consider the simplicity paired with phenomenal freedom, provided network of constantly incoming sounds and samples, and import/export abilities. Auxy is the sole reason I have hope for a music career. If you think about it, a release is simply a sound file invested into distribution to receive royalty. If you’re serious, you can literally make a career and become great wherever you are. Don’t be fooled by the price, you pay for what you get.
Such a beautiful app!
by G. Frag. on 2020/01/28 12:14
I recently (2 years ago) got into creating my own music, and now I have a soundcloud using Auxy to make the beats. As my soundcloud grows, I’ve created a song with over 5k listens, and just to think I made everything people are hearing makes me feel not only talented, but proud of myself. Some like to take beats from the internet, but the fact that I can make everything including the beat makes my music a lot more true to myself. Wonderful app to even just play around with.
A sleek, well updated application for music
by Awesomexboy3000 on 2020/01/26 06:41
I’ve been using this app for a few years and honestly never had a bad time with it. The only things I would want out of this app is a sound pack that features tropical based instruments like a beach like electric guitar, a ukulele, or even a steel drum and some sort of option that makes songs repeatable when looped, like for game developers. But that’s honestly it, this program is sleek, easy to use, and gives you a practical sandbox.
OFFER A STRAIGHT PAY
by Mod 1975 on 2020/10/02 18:35
$60 a year that’s $120 in two years etc... that is ridiculous this is a great app but not worth that much you should offer a $49 buy out option along with your subscription and not make your customer forced to pay off your Mercedes while we just want to make some beats I will look else where until you change your model. It’s jus too expensive 😔 - *they responded below with a really crappy explanation- NO WRONG you are too expensive the program is OVERPRICED! don’t buy this unless they offer a straight BUY OUT option !! Don’t support these crooked app makers. NO to the expensive SUBSCRIPTION MODEL. Do the math if you have this for 2+ years in your iPad how much is that imagine 4 years and so on CROOKS!!
Especially. Powerful? Absolutely.
Wow
by Dan Juno on 2020/08/03 08:09
Really stunning how much is fit in to this app without there being 100 menu’s blocking your view. Reminds me of working in Ableton Live. Having scenes instead of a running timeline is smart for an app based studio. As an artist for $5 a month you can’t beat the amount of potential this app gives you with its compact design and user friendly interface. Sure there are free apps but you still have to buy add ons for them eventually as well for more then $5. That’s a soda and a candy bar now a days.
It has been years and we still don’t have one.

this is hands down the most intuitive DAW on mobile platforms. this app allows me to create actual music from scratch, instead of prebuilt loops. id love to share some of what ive done to inspire others to get this app. well worth the five a month especially because its regularly updated with new sound packs and other great stuff. its come a long way in the few years ive had it and i simply love this app.

Amazing
by Grandmattyp on 2021/11/25 15:44
This app is amazing!

Auxy got me back into making music (-: the last time I used it was way back in 2014 or so, and it’s made HUGE leaps forward since then. Honestly wish they would release a desktop DAW with the same principles but more depth. I’m obsessed!!!

I really enjoy this app and i feel like i can actually make progress with it. But one thing that would make this even better is if you could use MIDI controllers, making music would be more efficient and would make a great addition to the app.

Disgusting

Thank you:)
Another truly solid app required by subscriptions
by --> Sko <-- on 2021/08/23 23:06
Make no mistake … this is a really good app.

Please bring that effect back :(
No, no, no!

Love it

I’ve got the pro version and if you dedicated to make music then it’s for you. I’ve made so many songs and uploaded them on YouTube and gotten many views. And the song I make are nostalgic to me cause I started 2 years ago with me friend that ditched me

Nice app. Fun to play with.

Also i’m working on some music and i hope to release it i plan an album you’ll know when i do 😉
PLEASE MAKE PAY ONCE OPTION

My friends have this app and it looks cool and I would be fine for paying for it because I have 5 dollars but WHY MONTHLY!? It would be really nice that you could also just pay once and have it. I only have 8 dollars so I can’t do monthly because it would be like only 2 months. PLEASE MAKE A PAY ONCE OPTION

New upgrade they just did was with proper but it be nice to have some more affects just something to help make the sounds that I have do a little more little more uumphfff… and I mean as far as drums go I think we can go to the drums on this app to to last is probably a long long while I’m thinking more bass like stand up bass or maybe even up some more Chyna dubstep bass music type of bass in or something with a little more uumphfff… I hit you guys up before saying that you know more organic sounds would be great more organic sounds and you guys told me that you guys could but pretty much every other music app even though they fail in comparison as far as the actual production and goes a lot of the other music apps aren’t as user-friendly but they have a lot of better sounds a lot more organic sounds I mean I guess I can transfer there sounds onto your app but I just don’t see why unless it’s a financial issue which I get why you can’t get more organic sounds but other than that I mean like I said I’m not gonna even sayThe names of the other apps that I have but you guys are way more user-friendly it’s not just because I’ve been using you guys for years it’s just because you guys just are easier to maneuver around throughout the app I don’t know man just wanted to keep on rocking in the free world
Actually Great!
by jusanotherrandomgi on 2021/06/10 21:26
I’ve been using this about for about a year now and lemme just say, this app is almost perfect!

Fantastic app! :)
Suggestions
by ekfnfksnsfhdnck on 2021/01/27 14:50
Hello. I have some suggestions for the app. I think that there should be more dubstep and Lofi/ambient noises in Auxy. Also can u please make it so I can import longer audio into Auxy via the drums. At least 5 min worth of audio. Thank you for your time.
Add the import songs
by Vance Evans on 2021/01/23 22:08
This app is fun but without pro you only have a couple sounds.

- Vokon

New upgrade they just did was with proper but it be nice to have some more affects just something to help make the sounds that I have do a little more little more uumphfff… and I mean as far as drums go I think we can go to the drums on this app to to last is probably a long long while I’m thinking more bass like stand up bass or maybe even up some more Chyna dubstep bass music type of bass in or something with a little more uumphfff… I hit you guys up before saying that you know more organic sounds would be great more organic sounds and you guys told me that you guys could but pretty much every other music app even though they fail in comparison as far as the actual production and goes a lot of the other music apps aren’t as user-friendly but they have a lot of better sounds a lot more organic sounds I mean I guess I can transfer there sounds onto your app but I just don’t see why unless it’s a financial issue which I get why you can’t get more organic sounds but other than that I mean like I said I’m not gonna even sayThe names of the other apps that I have but you guys are way more user-friendly it’s not just because I’ve been using you guys for years it’s just because you guys just are easier to maneuver around throughout the app I don’t know man just wanted to keep on rocking in the free world
Easily my favorite and most-used app
by j m o o r e 1 0 4 on 2021/05/18 07:21
I've been using this app for about 5 years since I found it by accident on the App Store. Have fun!
-me
Another truly solid app required by subscriptions
by --> Sko <-- on 2021/08/23 23:06
Make no mistake … this is a really good app.
Like it…but
by games of blades on 2021/10/31 21:38
Now I don’t really have anything against the app or the people who made it, actually I really enjoy it. But overall I still really do like this app and even if you can’t change it then that’s understandable but I really wish you could do something else so doesn’t really feel scummy to a lot of people
This is the one...

Just Wow
by Bootleg Rocket Engineer on 2021/11/15 16:13
Before I found this gift from god, I really needed some app that I could easily write music on, with no stress.
Nuff said!
Necessity
by SILVER_SKULL_ on 2020/01/25 04:15
If you plan on entering the field of music media there is no better place to start.
Still five stars!
Especially. Powerful? Absolutely.
Wow
by Dan Juno on 2020/08/03 08:09
Really stunning how much is fit in to this app without there being 100 menu’s blocking your view.
