WHY AUXY ”Auxy is my favorite way to get what's going on in my brain into a musical format. It's simple on the surface but with tremendous depth if you need it" - RAC “The automation is terrific. I'm doing things with Auxy I wouldn't easily do with my DAW. The design style is insanely smart and forward-thinking. It's productive for me to use, but i've also shown it to children who have been able to have fun making re al music. It's the best new audio product I've seen in a long time.” - Madeon “The thing we love about Auxy is how it uses technology to let people be creative, without letting that technology get in the way.” - Apple Design Awards CREATE AND MIX LOOPS Create melodies and beats with the industry-leading note editor that has been carefully designed to make the step from idea to song sketch as smooth as possible. Build complete tracks by mixing loops into scenes. FIND THE RIGHT SOUNDS Browse the massive sound library with thousands of high quality samples and hundreds of multi-sampled instruments. Great app, but just one problem.
by 4O4n!ckn@m3n0+f0und on 2019/09/20 23:37
This app is amazing and well thought-out, and the sounds are incredibly versatile. It’s really easy to use and make good music with, but there’s one small issue, and it’s with auto-renew. I understand that it’s where the flow of y’alls income is from and y’all need that money to pay bills, but the option to disable auto-renew would be nice.
Auxy Is Amazing!
by SaizUp on 2019/09/20 20:03
Whenever I’m Bored I Always Go To Auxy, I Usually Spend About 2-3 Hours Finding A Perfect Beat!. I Don’t Mind The Subscription, It’s There For A Reason, To Keep The App Up And Alive And There To Entertain Me, I Swear Its Amazing, I Love It- Sai.
Cant use it

I cant create anymore music without telling me i need to pay or start a free trial and i dont even have any projects due to the fact it wont lwt me create any
Um?!
by •Mango Kid• on 2019/09/15 04:16
So I just got the app and didn’t plan on spending any money on anything. I tried to add an instrument but all that happened was I got a pop up about a free trial and so the app is basically useless unless you pay! If this is a bug please try and fix it. If it’s not then what in the world is going on?! I understand that y’all have to make money but I don’t get why the app just demands for you to pay. Please consider making it at least where you can use a few instrument.
Lost without Auxy
by yuhhNOtim on 2019/09/14 05:16
I only had very little knowledge about how to make my own music. Everything I made, didn’t make sense. Learning on Auxy helped me tremendously on so many things on so many levels. If you’re looking to learn a thing or two about making your own music. This is where to start. I’ve been on Auxy for a while now, and I still find myself getting better as I go. Auxy is the best in my opinion because I’ve made quite a few bangers just putting together what I feel makes sense. And I love that about Auxy. Keep the updates coming. Hope to share my music one day.
Quintessential music creation app
by wagneric on 2019/09/14 01:08
I’ve been using Auxy almost daily for 3+ years to output whatever’s in my head, spanning various genres from classical to experimental downtempo and noise. I see it as much as a musical instrument as a production app, and with the ability to add your own samples, there are few limits on what you can do, while still remaining self-contained and quick to use. It is clearly a labor of love for the developers, who have worked consistently to maintain and improve it over time. I have no reservations over giving it 5 stars.
i love the app but

Where is r&b??
by LinaGalaxy on 2019/09/08 23:46
I love this app, but there are almost no sounds to use for r&b music😞
I really know y’all need money, but there’s only 10 sounds and 2 drums!
by Sulfer XSW on 2019/09/05 23:04
It would very cool if you could add a bit more free sounds
Did you get rid of the free sounds?
by CoolChris412 on 2019/09/05 22:26
Because if you did bring it back. But with a lot of more sounds
$60 EVERY Year For ONE App, No Thanks.
by IMRAN.TV on 2019/09/05 17:39
Sure, some seems people appreciate this a lot. I don’t expect it to be free. Devs have families and bills to pay too. But this is not rocket science life changing enough to be worth paying $60 ANNUALLY to have anything worth evening playing with ideas on. For those who think $5/month isn’t bad, people using apps like this do also have to use and sometimes subscribe to other SIMILAR apps plus apps in other areas of life. So such a $60 ANNUAL spend is a big dent for lots of people even if it is not for you.
Needs more
by mous music on 2019/09/03 23:14
You guys should add audio samples to add to your song , and a bit more customization possibilities. That’s it , that’s how close to perfection you are.
This app would be great but it has major flaws
by Velrowe on 2019/09/01 18:14
I got The app and deleted it in the first minute. Here’s my reasoning you make a game free yet free users can’t do a single thing without it saying no you can’t do that pay us money. It’s greedy.
Amazing!
by Taylor Prevost on 2019/08/31 18:38
This app is so much fun and so easy to make music and get quick ideas down. I’ve had it for just one day and I already love it! It’s like ableton for your pocket.
This App is Amazing for Hobbyists
by Matrixwing on 2019/08/28 20:40
I am enjoying Auxy greatly, its latest updates to each instrument has taken my mind and work to new heights. I am not going to advertise myself here, instead I shall exclaim that Auxy is a very good solution to hobbyists or producers with very few funds to work with. I have to admit the change from one-time pay to subscription was rough to begin with, but it’s become such a great investment overall that I just have to overlook that fact.
Subscription?
by PixeledOut on 2019/08/26 02:28
This is something I used to use, but after coming back I found that I now have to pay a subscription to use the free sounds I had made multiple beats with... Seriously? I’ve used it for free before, so there’s no way I’m paying for it now
It’s broken
by XxTheMeowxX on 2019/08/25 23:27
I don’t know if this is just me but when a press add instrument it just asks me to buy the premium thing so I can’t do anything fix it!
You can’t use it for free anymore!!!
by Jude Cornelius on 2019/08/25 16:58
I reinstalled this app so I could mess with it. It showed me the Auxy intro like usual. But when I went to make a new song it won’t even let me use the free instruments. It just prompts me to buy a membership. Honestly a pretty scummy business model. I’m not paying you anything, screw off.
Plz no
by ohBoiCHEES on 2019/08/24 00:00
Last time I used this it wasn’t pay for everything. I only gave it two stars because I know it was better than before, you just made it worse. Tho people who did pay must really be into the app. But for US we didn’t even get a simple at least 1 project free with some instruments. Instead you gotta pay. Plz, don’t become EA sports

It’s Amazing!!!
by Jazzyulp on 2019/08/11 01:53
The EQ adjustment was like an answer to a prayer. Now, my tracks can sound mixed after I export them, instead of me having to pull them into another program. I love the sounds so much! They’re great to use and have an extremely wide range for tweaking. All I’m hoping for now is a pack with woodwinds, then I could make a great orchestral track in Auxy too. Keep up the great work! This is the best music making app I’ve used!
Overpriced but good interface
by dhdheidncbejdjxbebdjjd dbd on 2019/08/09 05:38
The interface is very easy to use and I really like it. The only thing is the price. I decided not to renew my subscription, and to look into other music producing options with a flat fee. Just thinking about the yearly cost of the app- it seems too much for something that is admittedly limited from other production options. There’s no way to add your own vocals, or mix in live recording. I think that if the app had those and much more functions I would be willing to pay yearly fees. However due to the limited nature I don’t want to pay so much money over time. It’s a shame because I do appreciate the interface. If there was some discount or something for people who have been paying that would be good too
This app is great
by Bruh Moment 21 on 2019/08/08 13:33
It’s the best free MIDI app you can find. I can do everything I want with just the demo pack. I just wish they had this app on the google play store too
Just horrible
by ssdabsopop on 2019/08/08 03:11
when ever I try to add an instrument it says start free trial Even though the app said it was free.I had it in the past but… I deleted it because I wasn’t using it anymore and then I decided that I was getting bored and I didn’t have any good apps and I don’t want to date a man that started to happen so yeah I have my reasons

Great app
by bjillo on 2019/07/25 23:41
This is a great music making app. I have made a few projects I’ve worked on but I wish I had more sounds without paying. I got the subscription and it is amazing. There is so much to do and my songs are a lot better with the subscription. The only problem is that I share my iCloud with my brothers and you might not be able to see what I make because it might take you to their app which has way smaller projects then me. Can you let me know if you see the app with the newest song being SPACE MAJIC and just over three minutes long (developers) Thanks for reading this and creating the best music app)
Unviable Subscription Model
by Thurberbook on 2019/07/25 17:15
I downloaded the app and am unable to create anything new, it’s asking me to subscribe for $5/month ($60 for the year). So that’s pretty arresting start to the experience. That’s an significant cost for an iOS app for a single year. If I were to actually become attached to the software, the company would end up taking my money regardless of any continued value. In three years I’ll have substantially overpaid for a song sketch app ($180) and they will continue to charge me. I have no interest in sound packs or libraries, which I currently do not have a means of avoiding. The current cost and subscription model seems unviable for casual users and just plain foolish amount of money for more serious developers. It’s a shame that this software is locked behind a prohibitively costly paywall. As an app developer, I recognize the effort required to make money in the App Store, but this is too much.
Just, just...AMAZING
by hdfvrbhbcr on 2019/07/23 19:03
Runs great, and has cool sounds! As well as a grate beat making system! Great job Auxy!
A medium
by shmeggyboi on 2019/07/23 10:08
This app is amazing because I don’t have a computer or the programming to create with otherwise. With or without, this is an amazing tool for jotting down simple ideas to creating beautiful works of art. As simple as it is, this program is worth every bit.

Best Mobile Music App EVER!!
by poorbakr on 2019/07/22 00:22
This is a very well done app with lots of sound packs and useful EQs and automation. I bet if we waited a year or so maybe more popular music writers would start using it. We have new users each month on the app and more people are joining at the minute. AND they even have a forum for the app as well! So you can collaborate with other users and talk about music and random things! Like, WOW. This is a great app. And I think I, and many other people, will make a lot out of this app. Thank you so much Ienberg and Fredrick!
Used to be good, but turned to absolute trash
by Just a big fan of Pokemon on 2019/07/20 23:59
I mean what I said, I used to use this app because it was fun to make music for FREE, free being a key word. I don’t know why they made it so you have to pay money to make anything! And before the devs respond with “oh it was to keep the app alive”, your app was FLOURISHING when it was free and the devs got greedy, straight up, and I’m not paying for something that used to be free. I would not recommend this app to anyone anymore, I can just tell them to use FL studio on pc because that is free and gives you crap to work with. Needless to say I’m mad.
Auxy: The Mobile Studio
by David Naha on 2019/07/20 12:50
Initially I downloaded the app just for fun, yet instantly fell in love with the workflow, style, simplicity and sounds. That was about two years ago. I had no idea how to make a decent track then, yet eventually developed some ideas of how I want my songs to be the way I want. I even got to release some tracks I’m really proud of. All thanks to the developers who made this possible in first place, plus they created a welcoming community as well. Check out: disco.auxy.co There’re pretty cool folks regularly posting tracks, updates, chilling, or just being totally helpful. Cheers, David Naha
Better each revision
by iammane on 2019/07/20 12:19
I’ve been using Auxy on and off for about two years now. Those two years have been the most productive I’ve been in quite some time. I have about 20 years under my belt of non-professional, purely personal production experience and sometimes sitting in front of a blank canvas in a DAW is overwhelming and uninspiring. There’s lots of things Auxy can’t do - but it doesn’t pretend to try to do those things. The devs are pretty awesome and active, the app has evolved quite a bit since I’ve been using it (shortly before v4 came out) TL;DR - this is probably the best groovebox style app on iOS. It is powerful enough to complete a track stand-alone, but the various export options will allow you to bring your projects into your normal workflow and the process is pretty seamless. I’m excited to see how things continue to develop.
What Happened?!
by Xzavier ( on 2019/07/20 11:00
This once used to be a great app but now its terrible, absolutely terrible. Now it’s just a money bin. And I know that the app needs money but at least make some things free for 12 year olds that love making music (me), and now you can’t even go to a song you made you made yourself without an screen popping up saying free trial. At least the developers respond and I really respect that, knowing that writing this is just a waste of time. Please at least think about some free things new users of the app can come to without going straight into the app and seeing “Start your free trial” now feeling disappointed that all they got is dust in their wallet. Now I just feel upset and sad about all of the songs I made and remixed back when it was free. Now I just listen to “Gaze Demo” staring off blankly while thinking of the songs me and my brother made. I think that’s called nostalgia or something? Please at least look at this and give it a chance.
Not every sound has Tone adjuster.
by Vinnyv33 on 2019/07/19 23:06
Certain things I did used the effects of the tone adjuster. Now it’s gone for some sounds.... so if you could add it with all the other effects that would be nice... thanks! Also if you could revert the changes sounds back to their originals that would be nice too! Every one of my songs that used full tone on things like puppy or sweet aaa don’t sound the same anymore
Not free at all
by JeremyD123 on 2019/07/19 20:02
Comes with almost nothing without signing up for the “free trial” and auto subscription.
Awesome!
by hehad dbbdn on 2019/07/18 18:29
Ever since you guys added the new update it made a HUGE difference. Now the sounds can be tweaked In ways they could not have, and the notes can now be freely put without guidelines(prob my fav part). I would like to recommend some free smooth sounds for the free sound pack to have just a little more taste of what we can do with the music created because I know you still gotta sell those sounds to make money lol but great updates !

Update 6 Is about experimentation and I love it!
by Genonious Jordan on 2019/07/16 20:59
I’ve been feeling an itch to write up about how I feel on the new update despite it being less than a week ago, so here I am! Initial exposure: Going back into the app after updating it, I expected Auxy to have some new melody and drum packs or something, but I popped into the same sleek menu that was there before, and nothing felt different. The only thing I noticed was that the category bar graphic was changed a bit. I created a new file so I could mess around with stuff, but I was a bit frustrated when I saw that I had to download all of the instruments all over again. With what seems to be at least ten packs with at least seven instruments each, it put me off a bit so I exited out of the app and didn’t touch until the next day. My Caution: Whenever there is a new update, I’m very cautious about what I do, since Auxy 5 made me download all of my songs out of my files, and with the hundreds of files that I have made, I couldn’t bother spending an hour finding files that I don’t remember exist. With the Instruments, It made sense why they would allow an update. Besides, you aren’t forced to update instruments from older projects, it’s merely a suggestion. Discovering changes: After downloading all of the instruments, I poked around until I started noticing the new nobs. The new Dist and Chorus settings allow for some more artificial/synthetic audio. The Delay, Reverb, and Volume wheels have been granted some additional settings, mostly involving the quality and depth of the audio. My final thoughts: While I may be upset that there were no new packs added to the already abundant roster of instruments and drums, the featured added more than make up for it. It encourages you to experiment more with your resources. Auxy is not only a music creation tool, but also a sandbox of audio. Heck, you could already use pre-recorded clips and mess around with them, but the team at Auxy allows users to add custom audio. As a music app, I understand that experimentation is natural, but this program makes me feel like: if I have a melody in my head, there is nothing stopping me from just jumping into this app and composing it. This update only reinforces and encourages that concept of experimentation. I would even go as far as to call it an educational program. Teaching users to tinker around and then share the results of what they created from their patience and passion.

Absurdly overpriced
by Bill Andersoot on 2019/07/14 22:27
The original version of this app had a nice interface and a small but useful selection of sounds. A really fun little toy to play around with. The new version is totally hobbled and not nearly worth the price. Five bucks a month? For WHAT? It’s a joke. With GarageBand, I can do what this app does and much, much more. The only thing “premium” about this app is the price. This version is essentially just a nag to convince you to subscribe—for sixty bucks a year. Deleted.
Something wrong
by The crash fixes are a lie on 2019/07/14 21:31
When I try to create a instrument it always pops up with the “buy premium” thing and it won’t me create a instrument so can you fix that, or at least make some free instruments
I’m confused
by Thatoneboi1 on 2019/07/13 20:01
So I used to use this app and it was good so I went to use it again then it says I have to pay to make music? Not even free sounds or nothing to import it I have to make music? Mine as well make the app a pay to download app because you have to pay to use it!
Well.
by Betel nut on 2019/07/12 16:13
Okay. I once had a pack, and I was looking back to my old music I made. I got on auxy, and it asked me for a free trial. I went on with the free version, and got on an old song I made. To my surprise, I could not access it. I needed to get the free trial so I could access the old pack and edit it. Note that I copied the song, and tried it in other packs. Most of them needed the trial. Now I can't access and edit most of the songs I made.
Free Things
by The DC-10 on 2019/07/12 16:06
I like all the features, such as importing samples and using the EQ, but I am disappointed by the lack of access to these features by free users, such as myself. I am not asking to have the entire menu unlocked for free users, but for at least the ability for users that are unwilling to pay the $4.99/month to make their own songs with a small selection of instruments to choose from.
Subscription model for a toy app?! Really?
by Zombeeeee killah on 2019/07/12 11:01
A subscription model for a toy app? Save your money folks and in a year or 2 you can purchase full version daws like logic or if you ever wanted true quality sounds you can buy arturia v5 or 7 on eBay or subscribe to a service like Roland cloud or Splice for a few more bucks ($19.99). Auxy you should given users a choice of a subscription model if they need access to more sounds to play with, or a basic pack with ALL your original packs. Taking the original pack away show a desperate act to raise money. Not a good way to treat your users. There are other ways to raise money than to pull something good you started with and then sticking people with a subscription model that doesn’t even compete with other sound companies like loopmaster, splice, or Roland cloud.
Finally, an amazing pocket-sized DAW
by MusicDev on 2019/07/12 01:04
With Version 6, Auxy has finally become THE studio in your pocket. I do wish it had support for odd time signatures (or even just something that isn’t 4/4), but there is now so much customization, plus support for importing sounds, which can be further edited within the app. Auxy’s always been good, but songs made with it always sounded like they were from Auxy. You either recognized the leads/pads or you recognized the samples, and there wasn’t really a whole lot you could do to mitigate that. Now? You can change the sounds and make them unrecognizable, plus, you’re not locked into a grid anymore. If you want to make music from your phone, this is it. Unless you want to go make some jazz fusion, in that case, you probably want Logic and a band.
Thank you
by Tacoman3000 on 2019/07/11 16:34
Dear Auxy Developers, thank you so much for creating such a top notch app. I’ve been making beats with Auxy since 8th grade, I’m now 16 and create my own music with beats I make in the app. I could not be any happier with the interface, simplicity and organization. Again, thank you so much, I’d love for you all to hear my music and see what I’ve created with help from your creation. Continue the great work!!
Great but confusing
by Take24675456 on 2019/07/11 11:42
While the new update is great, the controls are a bit confusing and not as straightforward than it used to be. A tutorial or a guide on what each control does would help a lot.
Very awesome and affordable music maker!
by MarSJC on 2019/07/11 01:32
I’ve been using Auxy for a couple months now and I absolutely love it! It’s way easier than other programs that cost a lot more to use like Fl Studio and the sounds are just as authentic. Learned how to use it in a week and I’ve been enjoying it ever since. Also convenient to use when you’re traveling.
Simply amazing
by Pelsynergy on 2019/07/02 05:12
I love this app, I use it to make all my music, it I have nothing but great things to say about it. It runs super smoothly all around amazing. In the next update you should add a zoom out feature where you can either have the original zoom, or a more zoomed out view, I like the zoomed out view the most and would really like it if you added that. You should also add a feature where you can enable the scale for the key your song is in. For example, I enable it and in the first quarter of every measure, is a transparent layout of the notes of the scale of the key that my song is in, if that makes any sense xD. I would love to see those implemented. Keep putting out your hard work into this app. Thank you!
Minors and majors
by Carlos Saucedo Leon on 2019/06/27 09:05
I’m having trouble with having individual notes that would sound way better on a major scale rather then having them all be a minor. I don’t know how to or if I even can switch specific notes form minor to major. I don’t want to have the whole thing be all or nothing.
I LOVE THIS! would be cooler with electric guitar sounds

I finally bought it and overall it’s a fantastic app that really lets you make the songs you think of making but with issues like not being able to upload songs sometimes and even data wiping it’s hard to give this app 5 stars, Recently i was trying to make a song on auxy and it would never upload so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to find that all of my songs are gone, the one i was making wasn’t even on my cloud and this event is what prompted me to make this review
Love it!
by ZacharyJohnson98 on 2019/06/02 19:45
You guys simply do not earn enough credit, although I get the people who complain about a subscription based service can be annoying, it is more over worth it when it comes to this DAW. Used it for about a year now, and I still use it over fl! Also thank you so much for the ableton integration! Can’t wait till you finally add the ability to add audio and mp3!
Doesn’t let me use voice memos

Unsubscribing, deleting.
Amazing!!
by LarryNotch on 2019/05/22 18:40
I found this app because I had to do a school project on a mobile daw and out of 3 other apps this was the best one to me! Yes it needs a subscription but I think it’s worth it. Being able to work from your phone on it is awesome then able to port it over to a pc and also to make an MP3 when your done with your song right there on the spot! So I personally think this is a great app, I do wish for a little intro tutorial even though it is easy to pick up on. It can get a little overwhelming at first but once you look at samples and how they work you can figure it out yourself pretty easily.
2/5 and here why...
by reee EPIC on 2019/05/19 01:41
I had Auxy back when EVERYTHING was free. I’m glad the devs are getting there fair share of money, but the original packs should be free or something. Also you should make it to where you give your non-free music packs a ,day or something, to be free so the people can test it out and then they have to buy it after the time is up. Just get out of that “pay to play” mood and be more lax on your users.
Auxy Studio Rocks!
by Which one is Pink on 2019/05/14 00:45
Do yourself a favor - If you don’t have it - get it. This app is very unique in that you can put some pretty good tunes down in a easy to use interface. Then export and share your sounds with RAW or compressed audio and full MIDI. Quite the sweet creativity tool! You’ll find yourself getting to enjoy it with a small learning curve. Update May 2019 - this app continues to get better. Thank you devs for the ability to export songs as Ableton Live Sets. I’ve been exporting the midi and then spending too much time trying to find that ‘just right’ instrument. Now I can export the midi with the sample as audio! Every day life gets a little better😁
Why a subscription
by katty :0 on 2019/05/09 10:50
I much rather buy a pack then subscription because I would like to use the sound packs anytime I want. Rather than having a certain small amount of time to use them.
Buy instruments pack

Can you guys please put back the buy instrument packs option!? I can't afford money for the monthly subscription.
Real good

I suggest add time signatures like 2/4, 3/4, etc. Otherwise this app is really good
I used to love this app
by girlthatlovestosing on 2019/05/06 01:56
I used to love this app, I didn’t mind that I only had one pack to work with for free because that seemed fair to me. Updating it was a mistake. I lost some of the music (some of my favorite that I had made) that I compressed and saved on Auxy and that made me extremely upset. I looked to see if I could import it but I only had the music already in their raw (uncompressed) form on the app. Now I can’t even make any more music without having to subscribe- I can’t even pay for it because I’m a minor and my parents won’t let me. This was the only music app I had that I felt I could easily express myself and make music without any trouble, but now that’s gone too. So disappointed. I would be willing to give at least 2 stars if I could recover my lost music but I doubt that’ll happen.
Good but...
by _your.king_ on 2019/05/03 15:22
This is a truly amazing app and there’s nothing like it, but I’m paying for premium and I’m still limited to like 5 octaves. This is irritating especially when I’m trying to put something together that uses the whole piano. Can you guys please add the full 88 notes to the chromatic loops? Like, that is EXTREMELY important. If I use a chromatic loop then I need all 88 keys/notes and all 7 or 8 octaves. It only seems right.
Awesome
by Johnny Kmetz on 2019/05/02 19:21
I snagged this app a while back before I really started to get into making music (for fun) -man has it evolved since then. I love that you can basically take notes from your phone and transfer to Ableton. You guys should totally add some more plug ins - FX, EQ, etc. Thanks!
Quality App
by SleepyCereal on 2019/05/01 06:17
Been using this app for a more than a year, and it’s high quality, easy to use and one of the best daw app I ever downloaded. Although subscriptions are usually costly, it was worth the price to pay to unlock So Much more Instrument’s and sounds! Would recommend this app to anybody getting into Producing. This app was my first experience into Producing music and it was worth trying it out. Would highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to take a step into a Mobile Daw!
4/4 only

1 star because the devs don’t know other time signatures exist besides 4/4
Free to Download, not free to use.
by NiggleTiggle on 2019/04/27 10:16
While I like the idea that you can import music from the app to Ableton, I don’t like the idea of having to continuously pay every month to do so.
Good entry-level software
by Henry Fleischer on 2019/04/27 04:16
Auxy is a good entry-level composition software, as it's gui is very intuitive. If you want to sketch out songs or learn the basics, I recommend it. If you want to create professional sounding songs, I recommend it for early production- figuring out beats and motifs, than moving to something more powerful for the final product.
EXTREMELY UNDERRATED

I remember when auxy used to be “free” before you guy’s added membership and subscription 😐. I had made so much good songs on this app and as soon as the update it erased ALL. of my progress...at least let us keep our edited songs 🙄and just “lock it” after that this way we can still play it...like come on /: that’s rediculous
Missing projects from Auxy 5.4
by TechNylon on 2019/04/17 22:20
I just updated to 5.4 and two projects of mine went missing. I didn't have iCloud Drive on or any backups. Auxy please you have to fix his or rollback the update to 5.3. I worked so hard on those projects. Don't fail me now your an amazing app.

by wayne2time on 2019/04/15 18:48
All in all a good music app and nice sounds, my only question is if there’s anyway we could import our own (samples, loops)? Or that’s not something that could happen
Use it on the daily
by B3nTheeHuman on 2019/04/15 00:47
I bought the full version of Auxy back in January and thought I’ve made a grave mistake, but now that I use it everyday, new sound packs are being released regularly, and the new UI is amazing, it has quickly become my favorite app!

by NoOtherNames? on 2019/04/10 03:31
I bought Auxy when it was originally a $4.99 buy as a way to mess around with music. It has been quite a while and the app has evolved (apparently it's free now) quite a bit. While I am glad to see the devs progress and profit off of it, I've been upset by the removal of free access to the "Original" sound pack. There were complaints when they opted for a subscription service rather than the purchase of instrument packs, but people were allowed to keep packs they had already bought. I've lost access to the instruments that I originally purchased the app for and it's pretty upsetting to be left with the meager demo sounds. While I am disappointed with the devs' decisions, I am nonetheless impressed with the functionality and accessibility the app premiered with and continues to have. EDIT: I seem to have received an unlimited subscription for free (without notice) I do not know if it is on purpose of the devs, or not, but thanks I guess? [+ one star] for generosity? EDIT 2: I am now back to a free(?) membership (the app tells me that my subscription expired 3 months ago, while I was able to use all sound packs a day before writing this edit. Not surprised as the unlimited subscription was definitely out of left field, but I am now back to the same place as before—$4.99 lighter (+3 or so one-time subscriptions) with nothing to show for it. [- one star (I guess?)] for inconsistency? (back to my original rating)

Ridiculously brilliant. but desperately needs an undo button
by inkhursion on 2019/04/03 18:39
Seriously guys this is a phenomenal app. So simplistic like the imagination of a child, but you end up with such polished sound. I’m totally willing to pay the $5 per month. My ONE tripe, and this is why it is 4/5 instead of 5/5. No “undo” button... Now I’ve read online about this a little bit and it seems you guys are against the idea of an undo button. I get that it can encourage laziness and generally not learning your mistake, but seriously, it can just RUIN your creative process if you’re in a flow! Please, PLEASE for the love of God consider adding an undo function. At the very least only in the piano roll. Please. I love you guys, keep it up, hope this doesn’t come off the wrong way, I am just very passionate about it!
They ruined it
by The_Solution on 2019/03/30 17:45
I got Auxy pretty early. I got it when you didn’t have to pay for memberships. Leading up to the membership update, it was getting better and better. More and more instruments were being added, and new great mechanics were being added. Then the whole membership problem came. I thought it was leveling up but it was leveling day. Basically, I would rather have a $10 app without a membership plan than a free app with a demo version and a membership plan. It breaks my heart to write this review, but it needs to be said.
$ubscription to still be amateur
by Dude that paid full price on 2019/03/25 03:01
This app wont help you be a better producer, it might help you craft better midi loops though. Only good for its Midi file handling to jot down notes to be used later on the computer. Aside from the looks of the workflow, you arent getting anything new here. This isnt a daw, save the money for that purchase. Lastly, I paid for this to be a premium app back in the day, they changed to subscription based and I lost the value I paid for. Weak. But really weak is a subscription based music making app, this isnt close to a real DAW, which shouldnt be that rare in the app store anyways
Hands down best production app on IOS
by Sjrjfkxjfjfkkdjdjridkrjdj on 2019/03/22 18:50
Been using for well over a year. Simple, user-friendly interface. Very smooth and easy. Drawing melodies and selecting instruments and adding instruments are effortless. Yearly subscription is 100% worth it if you consistently use the app. Hundreds of drum samples. Pack are added once in a while. Limited in some ways with mastering and other features but it is still superb. It is meant for EDM but it can be used for a variety of genres. Contains solid 808 sample pack. Way better than Garageband.
Dear Auxy, What Happened?
by Blake Olive loves cats on 2019/03/22 02:32
I discovered Auxy over a year ago, and discovered that I had a knack for making music. I began doing it out of boredom, stepping out of my comfort zone as a singer. After a lot of pressure from my friends, I began posting it on YouTube. Auxy was the best music making app, hands down. I purchased even used in app transactions to purchase sound packs, and I never spend money on apps. However now all the sounds I used to have access to are “premium” meaning that I must pay a monthly rate to use them. What happened to the sound packs I bought? I have no idea. I can’t edit the songs that I spent hours upon hours on. Hundreds of projects that spent me hundreds of hours are all rendered a waist of time- unless I pay the monthly fee. Auxy was revolutionary but now I fear it’s going to fade away because now you have to pay to create. You guys were making money off me before because it was optional, but now that it’s basically required I will not be using this app anymore.
Thank you

Thank you!
Great app
by bjillo on 2019/07/25 23:41
This is a great music making app.

If there was some discount or something for people who have been paying that would be good too
Unviable Subscription Model
by Thurberbook on 2019/07/25 17:15
I downloaded the app and am unable to create anything new, it’s asking me to subscribe for $5/month ($60 for the year).

Lost without Auxy

I only had very little knowledge about how to make my own music. Everything I made, didn’t make sense. Learning on Auxy helped me tremendously on so many things on so many levels. If you’re looking to learn a thing or two about making your own music. This is where to start. I’ve been on Auxy for a while now, and I still find myself getting better as I go. Auxy is the best in my opinion because I’ve made quite a few bangers just putting together what I feel makes sense. And I love that about Auxy. Keep the updates coming. Hope to share my music one day.

My favorite and most used music software on iOS
by Kibble Chewer on 2019/02/10 01:00
This app is so brilliantly intuitive. It does have a subscription model, but to me it's been worth it. I have other Daws on my iPad that can technically do more, but they absolutely fail when it comes to having fun and quick work flows. Now I don't want that to be confused with it not being able to do much, this app has more than enough content to create great music with, I highly recommend visiting the online forum for this app to see what I mean, you'll find an endless stream of incredibly tracks made by the community.

Extremely underrated
by GTA fan MB on 2019/01/22 17:40
I have been dabbling into music production for about 2 years now and Auxy has been one of my most valued tools. It is great for laying foundations to your tracks to then upload as a MIDI file to your DAW and spice it up with plug ins that fit the sound in your head or to manipulate the track further. It is also great for your basic A to Z music production for the average bedroom producer like me. Even though the interface is incredibly simple and intuitive, I always seem to learn more about it even after owning this app for over a year now.

Quit the subscription hate! The devs have a point!
by Vj starr on 2019/02/08 17:12
To Lenberg, Fredrik, and all the people who left on account of the subscription. This app is a powerful, potentially game-changing app. It has almost everything you need to build a hit song from scratch. It contains TONS of instruments and samples, even in the free version! The most popular song made in Auxy was made with the FREE VERSION (Kleuren by Conux) !! The subscription is in place so the devs don’t go BANKRUPT. If that happened, the app would CEASE TO EXIST!! If you don’t want to pay the subscription, fine! The free version is just as good. I’m doing the subscription and so are many of my fellow producers. Please, stop the hate. Stop the penny-pinching accusations. Keep your harsh jabbing comments to yourself, and use your money as you wish. 4.99 a month is not as bad as some make it out to be.
Awesome!
by hehad dbbdn on 2019/07/18 18:29
Ever since you guys added the new update it made a HUGE difference.

Dear Auxy AB, You guys have done such amazing work with this app. Not only does it have an easy interface, great sounds and mechanics it is genuinely fun to do music on this app. I could say no wrong about Auxy and the subscription is well worth it. If I could add something though, I would love for there to saved configurations for drums since it’s a little tedious to jump from one project to another and create the same custom drum set over and over. Much love, Jim

Auxy is spontaneous from any other mobile music studio because the app itself, is not complicated yet simple. The interface provides easy workflow and less distractions. With intuitive sound engine, the app offers special sound mixing effects that are simplistic and minimal. Soundpacks are essential and each month, Auxy provides new sounds and drum packs under premium subscription. p.s. you are able to import sounds via icloud. anechoik
Best Piano Roll
by Massif Dustbin on 2019/01/17 20:23
Congrats to Auxy in both creating the best midi entry software that I know of on any platform and for strategies to make improvements sustainable. The case might be closed in regard to midi out, but that feature would make the subscription worthwhile to me. Time shortage means that I need to access other apps for composing and mixing in the most streamlined way possible. I would love to use Auxy for this. Magnificent app as is, thanks for the recent improvements.
Thank you
by Tacoman3000 on 2019/07/11 16:34
Dear Auxy Developers, thank you so much for creating such a top notch app.
Love it!
by ZacharyJohnson98 on 2019/06/02 19:45
You guys simply do not earn enough credit, although I get the people who complain about a subscription based service can be annoying, it is more over worth it when it comes to this DAW. Used it for about a year now, and I still use it over fl! Also thank you so much for the ableton integration! Can’t wait till you finally add the ability to add audio and mp3!
If you enjoy making music
by SonofaNitsch on 2019/02/18 04:50
I was about to write something long and convoluted about why you should get this app, but I want to make this brief for those TLDR peeps that might pass this app up; if you like music and want a way to create the highest quality songs on your phone, this is the app you want. I’ve tried many, and this is the real deal right here.
FANTASTIC
by Gynx Taylor on 2019/01/20 19:05
I love Auxy! I use it in A LOT of my music. There’s a huge, constantly growing collection of sounds to work with and a beautiful workflow. To me it’s the only good mobile app there is to make music. It’s also very affordable, for only $5 a month! I think every aspiring musician should know about this. My only fear is that they would raise the price to something unaffordable. Overall 10/10
Beautiful, straightforward design.
by HW.JY on 2019/02/16 02:18
I’ve been using Auxy since it was first released, and I find it to be an incredibly well-designed app. High-quality sounds, in conjunction with a fluid and intuitive music-making process make this an app that is an absolute must-have for anyone who enjoys music production or simply wants to have a go at playing around with sound.
Good but...
by _your.king_ on 2019/05/03 15:22
This is a truly amazing app and there’s nothing like it, but I’m paying for premium and I’m still limited to like 5 octaves.

I LOVE THIS! would be cooler with electric guitar sounds
by advancedbourland on 2019/06/19 03:49
This app is amazing, being a young music producer it allows me to create music with an easy to use platform with great sounds for only 5 dollars a month. I think that this app is amazing but I would love it if you could add an electric guitar sound pack, but I can’t find anything wrong with the current form of this app
My favorite DAW
by Wesley F. on 2019/02/11 20:14
Auxy has been one of the best free DAW’s I’ve ever used, it is very mobile and simple, compared to the big guns like Ableton. I love this app so much, the instruments are amazing, I’ve loved all of them, and would pay $$$ for a VST sound pack to be used independently from the app!! Love it! Also, this is the only app review I’ve ever taken the time to do, I love this app so much!
Cool
by B1GNVTE on 2019/01/21 01:17
As a music producer, Auxy is the simplest way to design a track on the go. There’s been many times I would just fool around and end up making a really awesome track. It’s really handy when you’re instantly inspired by something and need to lay down a simple track that you may wanna use in the studio. I love this app!
Free Things
by The DC-10 on 2019/07/12 16:06
I like all the features, such as importing samples and using the EQ, but I am disappointed by the lack of access to these features by free users, such as myself. I am not asking to have the entire menu unlocked for free users, but for at least the ability for users that are unwilling to pay the $4.99/month to make their own songs with a small selection of instruments to choose from.
I believe this one is literally the best
by Sammy from Alibamy on 2019/06/09 15:01
Auxy is truly amazing. I have been using if for a while now and I don’t even have the full version. You unlock everything when you subscribe to the full version but even with the free version you can make so much. Get this app, it is so worth it!

Thank you for being a great song writing app. I’ve written close to 100 songs over the years with you,I only wish you could make electric guitar sounds such as distortion, reverb, delay, and so forth.i Always look forward to the new sounds you send out each months Sincerely, John Birk.
AMAZING APP, but needs one very important feature
by OneHitBarrel on 2019/03/05 00:54
Duple Time meters are arguably the most used time meters in pop music, but many forget about other common meters. In Auxy, one can work around the limitations to use a 6/8 or 2/4 meter, but not 3/4, simply because it is difficult to chart this into the app. It would be great if the Auxy team could add more time signatures for its community to utilize.
Great app, Needs more sounds!
by Tucker Vogel on 2019/02/21 03:37
This is by far the best music production app on the App Store, it provides a really great space for creators to make music. One thing i would love to see on this app is more Trap/Hip hop sounds. Everything from claps, snares, hi hats, and kicks, to other things like effects, Vox and chants. This would be a great addition to the app!
What a great app!
by RainbowVoilet on 2019/02/17 22:32
I’m not gonna lie I wasn’t expecting this app to be so great, but I did wonder that whenever I paste another instrument into another section I can’t edit the percussion therefore I can’t lower the pasted instruments volume. Is there anyway I could do it? Am I not doing it right? It’s a really great app, thank you! 😃😄😁

I bought the full version of Auxy back in January and thought I’ve made a grave mistake, but now that I use it everyday, new sound packs are being released regularly, and the new UI is amazing, it has quickly become my favorite app!

Um?!
by •Mango Kid• on 2019/09/15 04:16
So I just got the app and didn’t plan on spending any money on anything.

I used to like it
by awsome guy forest on 2019/07/15 16:44
When if first came out I used it tons but then the free trial came it added more sounds for 5.00$ a month I was like meh since I could still use the demo sounds then it became less and less sounds for free then one day I wanted to create a song but you have to pay to use the app I got so mad I smashed my phone (iPhone 2)please change it back
Absurdly overpriced
by Bill Andersoot on 2019/07/14 22:27
The original version of this app had a nice interface and a small but useful selection of sounds.
I LOVE THIS! would be cooler with electric guitar sounds
by advancedbourland on 2019/06/19 03:49
This app is amazing, being a young music producer it allows me to create music with an easy to use platform with great sounds for only 5 dollars a month. I think that this app is amazing but I would love it if you could add an electric guitar sound pack, but I can’t find anything wrong with the current form of this app

I loved it but some issues that really tick me off
by Ban-Nana on 2019/06/04 04:07
I finally bought it and overall it’s a fantastic app that really lets you make the songs you think of making but with issues like not being able to upload songs sometimes and even data wiping it’s hard to give this app 5 stars, Recently i was trying to make a song on auxy and it would never upload so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to find that all of my songs are gone, the one i was making wasn’t even on my cloud and this event is what prompted me to make this review
Love it!
by ZacharyJohnson98 on 2019/06/02 19:45
You guys simply do not earn enough credit, although I get the people who complain about a subscription based service can be annoying, it is more over worth it when it comes to this DAW. Used it for about a year now, and I still use it over fl! Also thank you so much for the ableton integration! Can’t wait till you finally add the ability to add audio and mp3!

Amazing!!
by LarryNotch on 2019/05/22 18:40
I found this app because I had to do a school project on a mobile daw and out of 3 other apps this was the best one to me!

4/4 only

Free to Download, not free to use.

Thank you

Not surprised as the unlimited subscription was definitely out of left field, but I am now back to the same place as before—$4.99 lighter (+3 or so one-time subscriptions) with nothing to show for it. [- one star (I guess?)] for inconsistency? (back to my original rating)
Thank you!
Great app
by bjillo on 2019/07/25 23:41
This is a great music making app.
If there was some discount or something for people who have been paying that would be good too
Unviable Subscription Model
by Thurberbook on 2019/07/25 17:15
I downloaded the app and am unable to create anything new, it’s asking me to subscribe for $5/month ($60 for the year).
Amazing!!
by LarryNotch on 2019/05/22 18:40
I found this app because I had to do a school project on a mobile daw and out of 3 other apps this was the best one to me!
Quality App
by SleepyCereal on 2019/05/01 06:17
Been using this app for a more than a year, and it’s high quality, easy to use and one of the best daw app I ever downloaded.
Awesome!
by hehad dbbdn on 2019/07/18 18:29
Ever since you guys added the new update it made a HUGE difference.
From a long time user
by JimTheCookie on 2019/03/03 09:56
Dear Auxy AB, You guys have done such amazing work with this app.
Unless you want to go make some jazz fusion, in that case, you probably want Logic and a band.
anchoik’s note
by Antoinette Khim on 2019/01/18 15:10
Auxy is spontaneous from any other mobile music studio because the app itself, is not complicated yet simple. The interface provides easy workflow and less distractions. With intuitive sound engine, the app offers special sound mixing effects that are simplistic and minimal. Soundpacks are essential and each month, Auxy provides new sounds and drum packs under premium subscription. p.s. you are able to import sounds via icloud. anechoik
Love it!
by ZacharyJohnson98 on 2019/06/02 19:45
You guys simply do not earn enough credit, although I get the people who complain about a subscription based service can be annoying, it is more over worth it when it comes to this DAW.
Good but...
by _your.king_ on 2019/05/03 15:22
This is a truly amazing app and there’s nothing like it, but I’m paying for premium and I’m still limited to like 5 octaves.
Auxy
by Bopamania on 2019/02/08 19:41
Thank you for being a great song writing app.
A medium
by shmeggyboi on 2019/07/23 10:08
This app is amazing because I don’t have a computer or the programming to create with otherwise. With or without, this is an amazing tool for jotting down simple ideas to creating beautiful works of art. As simple as it is, this program is worth every bit.
