Ava - 24/7 Accessible Life
Description
Ava is an app designed to empower people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing by allowing to follow conversations in real time. The app provides 24/7 real-time captioning (with up to 95% accuracy, based on artificial intelligence), on your smartphone. The app can be used for quick and spontaneous interactions such as talking with colleagues at work or meeting people in public. Ava can also be used at events, classrooms, churches, doctor's appointments, business meetings, and many more. Transcribing any live communication makes it now very easy for friends, family and organizations to be accessible and ADA compliant! 1) Set up Ava on your phone to instantly transcribe what people say (with 95% accuracy when they're a meter away). Tap words to correct them and teach Ava to transcribe them right. 2) For group conversations where speakers are further than 1 meter away, invite them to download Ava and connect to you: Ava will show a real-time color-coded transcript of who says what. Never miss again meetings at work, family dinners or social gatherings! 3) Need accessibility in more complex situations? Head to the "Discover" menu and learn how to set up Ava in any situation. Examples of ways people use Ava: - Didn’t get what the guy in front of you said? With your smartphone' mic, Ava hears well and shows you word by word what is said. Instant captions, in your pocket, always available. - Communicate much faster with hearing people, than with pen/paper or notes apps! Type what you want to say, and have Ava speak it for you. Besides, if you connect to friends via Ava by sharing to them your Ava Name, what each person will show up with their own color. What you type appears right away on their screens for incredibly faster communication! - Push the limits of what you thought you wouldn't have access to. With Ava and easy to find equipments, you could understand vendor tips, doctor's appointments, worship services, classroom lectures, and even online videos and conference calls! Ava paves the way towards a 24/7 accessible world. Visit www.ava.me/life for more details on how other pioneers of accessibility use Ava! Questions? Suggestions? Easy to use
by jillian0109 on 2020/05/22 16:11
Ava has helped our deaf team member engage more fully in our Zoom meetings. While we are on video through Zoom, we each have Ava downloaded on our phones so that it transcribes what each person is saying in real time. It’s made a huge difference in the efficiency of our video meetings. It’s not perfect with the transcription, but it’s close enough to understand what’s being said.

Charge Service for deaf and hard of hearing
by luxmazda on 2020/02/20 16:16
This app may be useful and helpful for deaf and hard of people anywhere we go. But I’m disappointed that we have to pay monthly for this service. I have to say I completely disagree with this decision since we get free assisting services.
Simply the best text to speech app out there!!!!
by Melly771 on 2020/01/28 06:04
My son is hard of hearing and we use Ava every day. The quality of the translation is far and away the best out there.
Want to get full subscription don't know how
by jswiat33 on 2020/01/15 19:58
This app is very useful as I have sever hearing loss and just underwent cochlear implant surgery in one ear. I am trying to pay for a full subscription, but can't seem to do so. So far, I haven't been able to engage anyone from customer service to help me. Not a good sign of customer support is not helpful.

Used for my father in the hospital to assist communication during medical consults. Surprised at how fast it is and that most of the medical terms were correct. A number of providers were unaware of the technology and impressed

Cannot stop banner.
by Jimsday on 2019/11/04 15:43
It is a very good app. However, the banner that stops the app only stops if you pay about $14.00 a month. Most apps appear to stop their banners no matter what amount is paid.

17% hearing only
by hardofhearingv on 2019/10/28 19:23
Just used this App in a very important meeting with an attorney and it worked great. Yes there were a few missed words but I think it would be that way with any app used. It was a lifesaver for me today. Made me feel like I actually was a part of things again. Not used it in a group setting but it did well for a one on one with real time text.
Love it!!!!

I am late deafened and no longer hear speech. I have been using AVA for a few years and I don’t leave home without it. It worked well in Europe and I found the foreign language translation feature useful. It is an excellent product.
Awesome Support and Follow-up
by Quiet2Me on 2019/09/15 00:36
Can’t say enough about how much I have appreciated the staff at AVA! Thanks to their expertise, miracles have occurred which I never dreamed once impossible! They suggested Bluetooth Mic for when I am in large group, such as on tour. Stereophonic vacation awaits! Thank you!
Amazing!
by KD9FRT on 2019/08/20 21:30
I’m very impressed as words appear on my screen within a second after spoken under ideal conditions ($11 mic for each phone and quiet background noise). I need that to enable this old almost deaf guy to follow the conversation around him. The next challenge is to participate in a conversation of 8 people, each with Ava on their phone, with some children playing in the background. Based on results so far, I expect good results. I’ll add to this review later.
Ava
by PekoeG on 2019/08/18 02:32
Great overall but the app works more easily for people without southern accents
It is not very beneficial
by Mrscarrillo22 on 2019/07/01 07:56
I used Ava to get communication accessible for me as a deaf person at work. I was informed by my co workers that it is not very accurate communication on Ava when it picked up from my co workers to communicate or missing very important information during the meeting. For subscribers monthly fee is ridiculous expensive to receiving lacking and inaccurate communication tool on Ava app. I don’t recommend this app to anyone.

AVA is very helpful
by Mahvelous Mahvin on 2019/06/13 00:52
I am bilaterally implanted and struggle with electronic devices that play music or radios with odd sounding voices. AVA helps with some of that (not music, rather talk radio) and it’s extremely useful when explaining to my Deaf friends and family since my ASL is poor. I can hold my own with hearing friends and family as the implants give me 85% speech comprehension. Now a question: I actually tried to open AVA during a phone call to work like captions would, and it was ok but not perfect. Does AVA ever plan on expanding out into telephone type conferences where not all members in the conference have AVA? It’s asking them a lot to download an app, it would be sweet to be able to include their conversation without having them join right away.

Customer service
by MN MB on 2019/05/02 17:01
I had difficulty using at first and JB was wonderful and patient with my questions. Once I was able to get it working, it helped fill in the gaps for me. While the ability to edit missed words is great, if it’s a conversation with multiple people, it can get difficult trying to fix mid convo but I always go back and re-read the transcription to make sure I didn’t miss something.

Pretty Good App
by Bayern3-2012 on 2019/05/01 14:53
I downloaded the app to help me communicate with my son who underwent cochlear implant surgery and between the time of the surgery and the activation of the implants, he was totally deaf. The app works well and is surprisingly accurate in translations from speech to text. One issue I had using my iPhone 7 was that sometimes the app just flat out failed to work once it was launched. No matter what I tried to do, it would not seem to pick up my voice and translate. I’d usually have to close the app, then relaunch to get it to work. I like the fact that you can configure the app to use various microphones...neat feature. All in all, the app is well designed, fast and as accurate as any can be given the complexity of speech to text translation!
Voice!!!
by Bbruinshockey14 on 2019/04/28 23:34
There is no a way for me to adjust the voice accent since it talks like a British man (I want to switch the voice to make it sounds more serious so the hearing people won’t be laughing in the front of me each time I try to make a conversation with them). Please adjust it to an American voice.
Ava life changing
by SmithvilleDoug on 2019/04/25 19:36
In the past 3 weeks I have lost all hearing. Now awaiting a cochlear implant. Shocking! How will I conduct my business, conference calls, personal social ever again.. recommended by friends (speech pathologist) AVA has solved many of these. It’s all about a good microphone and folks speaking clearly. Quality in..quality out. I can now even hear the preacher on Sunday! You need of course good WiFi, or cell signal. I can now wirelessly sit and pick up Bluetooth mic 50 ft away. Can also pick up the phone by sending the phone into the iPad via cable. HUGE advantage. They talk I read. I talk they hear. It’s not perfect but pretty good. The TTY is free but everything has to go to another number then prompted to enter my number. How does the yard guy know this? It’s a bit cumbersome. I think I’ll use both. Thanks AVA! Good work!
Great in Theory but not fully functional
by DrSurf777 on 2019/04/10 17:26
I work with students with hearing impairment in a school district. We had high hopes for this app as a wonderful tool for our secondary students to get more from class lectures. It does show live transcripts of the classroom dialog but the save transcript function is not working. We followed the directions from the website and it should be working but when we go to the transcript tab, nothing has been saved. Tech support has been less than helpful telling us to follow the directions we have already completed. Maybe this is a glitch but until it is fixed this product is not worth the monthly cost if you need more than 5 hours per month of captioning.

Best app for losing hearing - Saved me!
by Fit Laura on 2019/02/26 18:32
About 2 months ago I went to sleep hearing and woke up profoundly deaf! I have a full time career , large family as well as active social life. All of that came to a halt until I found Ava! It’s saved me! I can use it with friends individually and at important business meetings with the blue tooth conference microphone. As long as there is internet available, it works very well. This is a big deal! A game changer for onset deafness . I cannot thank you enough for being there Ava! This journey as a deaf person is so much easier to accept with great tools like you!

Thank you AVA
by Devotadevo on 2019/02/07 07:15
While this app may not be perfect, it can make big improvements in a deaf person’s ability to “hear” others, particularly in relatively quiet environments and when there is good Wi-Fi. The transcription is not perfect, but if the other speaker enunciates, it can make a big difference to the quality of the transcription. Customer service is very responsive, and they listen to requests from the users and seem to be making ongoing improvements to the program.
Works great!
by Deaf guy on 2019/01/26 01:32

Nice Idea, bad delivery
by Akxeman on 2019/01/04 16:51
Needs a lot of User Experience improvements. 1. Not intuitive to set up. It is not something a person can spontaneously load and use. 2. It is not orientation responsive. Keyboard devices have iPads placed landscape, the Ava runs vertical. 3. The screen kept fading out for some reason. 4. The monthly price is crazy high considering its ongoing operation is an exchange between Bluetooth devices and not using a remote infrastructure. I understand you are trying to make a living, but don’t plan on doing it off the income of people who are disabled. PLEASE continue your work, the deaf community needs an affordable and user friendly app like this. Good luck.

You want MarcyMadness to give you Five stars even though she only gets 50% of the conversation? What a joke! I’m Deaf and I wouldn’t pay 30 bucks per month because I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the WHOLE conversation. Without the App I already miss half the conversation anyway so no point in downloading this app. I rather pay 5 bucks per month. Good luck!
RIP OFF!
by SsnGrysn on 2018/12/20 06:53
$29.99 a month is TOTALLY RIP OFF for Deaf Community. There is no way to make money from that PRICEY! I cannot believe that you rip us off. I would mind to paying $3.99 in a month. I am very disappointing how this developers set their prices for Deaf community.
So sad not working at all
by donneed on 2018/12/08 01:43
I am paying for the app and just upgraded to new iPhone 10xs max. I had a 10. I am at the apple store and we have tried my high speed LTE service and the Apple stores WiFi. I also have fastest internet through Cox. Everywhere I try to use the Ava program I get a message saying slow internet causes problems in text appearing as nothing is being transcribed! Apple says their speed is very fast. I have written to support but get no help. When it works very good. Just a shame.
$30??
by MarcyMadness on 2018/11/28 18:20
First month of signup is free, then they want $30 monthly?? Do they not know who they’re marketing towards? I am deaf, and have been using this for 2 weeks. I am utterly disappointed that they would want to charge $30 monthly for deaf people to have accessibility. The app captures about 50 percent of what’s being said, but helps so much. This app is not worth that monthly, and breaks my heart that they re more concerned about the cost instead of helping us feel included. Make it $5 a month and it would be the only app I’d HAPPILY pay monthly for.

by NicoleFreakinRules on 2018/07/14 19:01
My father lost his hearing in February of 2018, and without this app we wouldn’t have been able to communicate with him to the level that this app allowed. Ava gave him the ability to communicate with his doctors, audiologists and attend church. I can’t thank your company enough for creating this app! I urge you to market this app to the ENT medical community, so this app is available to their patients.
Completely WCAG noncompliant
by Lexie Acquara on 2018/07/10 04:32
Deafblind people exist, and could possibly benefit from this app. Unfortunately, the app is completely inaccessible to the blind. Voiceover works sporadically as things are incorrectly labeled. And then, “select the pictures with the cars? Seriously? It’s a worthless app if you are visually impaired. No way to get around. Nice from people purportedly making a device to make things more accessible for those with Disabilities or who are Deaf.
Monthly Fee - agree with Dave
by Debra8228 on 2018/07/03 21:27

Monthly fee???
by 1321 Dave on 2018/05/25 16:04
I understand, the devs need to make money, but $30 a month is steep. Deaf/Hoh people shouldn’t be charged for having a disability. I could understand $2-$3 a month, but the devs are losing out on potential customers by trying to charge so much. I could almost guarantee 10x+ more people would pay if it were $3/mo

Not good for deaf and low vision
by Dnorris60 on 2017/12/31 17:50
This app is fine for folks who are deaf or hard of hearing and have good vision. What about those that are deaf and have low vision or eye sight problems like macular degeneration or glaucoma? At least give the options to change font size and have a high contrast between the foreground and background.

I am Deaf
by Jamie Broughton on 2017/11/22 18:18
I have been using Ava for quite awhile now and would recommend it to just about anyone who is either deaf or works with the deaf or hard of hearing. This app has helped me in more ways then I can write in just one review, it has had its glitches but the development team is always on top of every issue. I am fairly newly deaf and this app has been a lifesaver for me I highly recommend it.
Great App but...
by egomac on 2017/11/02 17:20
It’s an awesome app to use and there’s more room for improvement. When I realized a $29.95 monthly subscription to use this app, my first thought with a word-Greedy. Marketing 101: it tells me what a dreamer is doing this app to become 1% of the rich and it won’t happen. It kills your brand recognition...customers forgets your app no matter when it becomes available for free. There’s no second chances. This app has an aggregation with licensed software tools. What was the reason for you to come up with $29.95 a month which is almost $400 a year? Will my hearing peers willing to pay for it, too? This is so insane! 30 million people who are Deaf along with family members, peers, social events, workplace, etc. will buy instantly for $2.99 without subscription. Big market for hearing customers than Deaf only by 5 to 1 because one Deaf uses the app spreads to five people to accommodate it. It excites them, seriously. That’s more than $30 million bucks...now, your greed does not help to accomplish anything.

App needs to improve
by M&Ms1991 on 2017/08/11 21:40
This app has great potential but still lacks accuracy with speaking into the phone and the app crashes often. I hope this does improve because this app could be terrific for those who are deaf and hate feeling left out in conversations.

by Cathy Eastes on 2017/05/09 13:38
Ava has been very helpful for my 4th grader who uses it to help her clarify information. She relies on her hearing first, then checks Ava to make sure she heard correctly. Great tool. I would like to see you come out with special pricing for schools for the unlimited plan. Maybe a yearly flat rate. Students could then export the transcriptions to Google Docs or another app and refer back to those notes to study from. Very helpful app overall!

by Robby4200 on 2017/04/02 20:24
I am deaf and I use that and it work great with hearing people much faster communicate well if u can speak but can't read lips even if u are full deaf or whatever it still work great but if can't speak or read lips it work fine cuz u can still type the keyboard all they do is speak near ur phone and u read it that is very simple.
A life saver!
by tclindstrom on 2017/02/16 21:35
I use it mainly to help me understand on the spot some people I cannot lipread well at all, and the ability to handle more than one person in conversations is astounding! Thank you!
Clever and good idea but..
by azoreseuropa on 2017/02/11 01:45
Too expensive and that's why I give you three stars .. no. Two stars. Be aware that we are deaf and hard of hearing people desperately need like this one for no charge. No thanks. I will delete it now until you find a way then I might return to it. Thanks but no thanks.
Doesn't work

Voice recognition needs work

It's amazing idea and quite useful. However, the voice recognition needs some work.
Nice but..

This app required exist working cellphone carrier service. I don't have one but wifi and text free app using wifi. I am stuck! Need to give wifi option. Also not only iPhone. They need to make it for iPad too. Really nice app, I can't wait to use it when I am able to someday.
Not Highly Recommendation
by DeafFriendly on 2016/12/15 15:07
This is great tool for Deaf users unfortunately for this company is ripped off to have $29.99 monthly for upgrade. This company does have a real person CA operating to do the relay typing on this apps. This app only do itself, not real person like video relay service or relay service make sense to pay interpreter but not machine or apps itself. Will not strongly recommendation on this and that will put burden more than 23 millions deaf and HH customers in the U.S. that will put on their financial burden due to lower income (85% SSD income). Thumbs down!
Great idea - horrible execution ...
by Famousbeer on 2016/11/30 02:38
I know it's a business but the app makes it impossible to invite others on another device - imagine if Grandma didn't have a smart phone or we needed to use a tablet or spare iPhone. OR if Grandma was in FL and you wanted to try this out with your wife before trying to get her to use it from long distance??!! App won't accept new accounts from the same cell phone #... The concept is great and I have no problem paying a dollar or more a day to make Grandma feel like a part of the conversation again. I've downloaded this app twice now trying to work with it - second time I'll be deleting in total frustration. Two stars for the concept - zero for the execution.
As a deaf person
by Willy bob joe on 2016/11/25 03:49
You would think an app made specifically for transcribing speech would be better than Siri. It's not. Does not catch everything that is said and when it does, it's all a random jumble of words. Great app idea, poorly executed.
Eh
by Dissent_Is_Cool on 2016/11/24 22:07
It doesn't do a very good job of recognizing words, especially in the midst of an actual conversation.
Poor app
by Flying Hands to Praise God on 2016/11/24 07:05
It is not as good as I thought... other strangers can see our conversations and we don't even want them to know what we chat about... should improve the features such as "selective persons in a group, or selective personal name, but can select open conversation to anyone, etc." I am not pleased with it right now and am going to delete it. Hopefully, in the near future it will be improving with the features. 🙁
Awesome app

Thanks AVA! Good work!
Amazing!
by KD9FRT on 2019/08/20 21:30
I’m very impressed as words appear on my screen within a second after spoken under ideal conditions ($11 mic for each phone and quiet background noise). I need that to enable this old almost deaf guy to follow the conversation around him. The next challenge is to participate in a conversation of 8 people, each with Ava on their phone, with some children playing in the background. Based on results so far, I expect good results. I’ll add to this review later.
$30??
by MarcyMadness on 2018/11/28 18:20
First month of signup is free, then they want $30 monthly?? Do they not know who they’re marketing towards? I am deaf, and have been using this for 2 weeks. I am utterly disappointed that they would want to charge $30 monthly for deaf people to have accessibility. The app captures about 50 percent of what’s being said, but helps so much. This app is not worth that monthly, and breaks my heart that they re more concerned about the cost instead of helping us feel included. Make it $5 a month and it would be the only app I’d HAPPILY pay monthly for.
Easy to use
by jillian0109 on 2020/05/22 16:11
Ava has helped our deaf team member engage more fully in our Zoom meetings. While we are on video through Zoom, we each have Ava downloaded on our phones so that it transcribes what each person is saying in real time. It’s made a huge difference in the efficiency of our video meetings. It’s not perfect with the transcription, but it’s close enough to understand what’s being said.
I am Deaf
by Jamie Broughton on 2017/11/22 18:18
I have been using Ava for quite awhile now and would recommend it to just about anyone who is either deaf or works with the deaf or hard of hearing. This app has helped me in more ways then I can write in just one review, it has had its glitches but the development team is always on top of every issue. I am fairly newly deaf and this app has been a lifesaver for me I highly recommend it.
Thank you for this app!
by NicoleFreakinRules on 2018/07/14 19:01
My father lost his hearing in February of 2018, and without this app we wouldn’t have been able to communicate with him to the level that this app allowed. Ava gave him the ability to communicate with his doctors, audiologists and attend church. I can’t thank your company enough for creating this app! I urge you to market this app to the ENT medical community, so this app is available to their patients.

Big help
by kmopfr on 2018/10/19 15:32
My husband lost his battle with small cell lung cancer but for the last year before he died he was completely deaf due to paraneaplastic syndrome, this app was a huge help we could all talk at the same time in the same room or on the other side of the country .
It is not working / no reliable at all
by MarthaBea on 2018/09/16 18:24
I was using the free time and when changing languages it doesn’t caption anymore. I through it has to do with the subscription, subscribed and is still not working. Guys you have a big bug here. I already asked you to fix this or I want my money back. Good when it works but it is not reliable ( and no, it isn’t my Internet conexión because you see the little microphone blinking as when is working but the screen is empty)

So far, I haven't been able to engage anyone from customer service to help me. Not a good sign of customer support is not helpful.

by Nickykillz on 2018/09/18 00:23

Completely WCAG noncompliant
by Lexie Acquara on 2018/07/10 04:32
Deafblind people exist, and could possibly benefit from this app. Unfortunately, the app is completely inaccessible to the blind. Voiceover works sporadically as things are incorrectly labeled. And then, “select the pictures with the cars? Seriously? It’s a worthless app if you are visually impaired. No way to get around. Nice from people purportedly making a device to make things more accessible for those with Disabilities or who are Deaf.
Ava user in hospital
by used at hospital on 2019/12/05 01:08
Used for my father in the hospital to assist communication during medical consults. Surprised at how fast it is and that most of the medical terms were correct. A number of providers were unaware of the technology and impressed
Reason why I reviews 4 1/2 stars of Rate.
by Bears2019 on 2019/02/20 13:57
Because I am Deaf. My family is Hearing. Ava App is work for us but hard to get fast word slow delay relay. But still good and work. I love it to use this app I will still use Ava App. That way I can know what them said.
Simply the best text to speech app out there!!!!
by Melly771 on 2020/01/28 06:04
My son is hard of hearing and we use Ava every day. The quality of the translation is far and away the best out there.
Good luck.
Cheats on Time Available
by pcweary on 2018/02/14 14:54
First, I went from 31/2 hrs. left of free time to none, with no usage in between. Then desperate, I paid the $30 for unlimited service. It showed up on app that I had unlimited service. ok fine. Logged in next day, says I have no time left. Support is a joke. They do not respond! It is a decent app but be careful.
I could almost guarantee 10x+ more people would pay if it were $3/mo

by Daniellehatesthisapp on 2018/12/21 01:49
You want MarcyMadness to give you Five stars even though she only gets 50% of the conversation? What a joke! I’m Deaf and I wouldn’t pay 30 bucks per month because I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the WHOLE conversation. Without the App I already miss half the conversation anyway so no point in downloading this app. I rather pay 5 bucks per month. Good luck!

Charge Service for deaf and hard of hearing

Not good for deaf and low vision
by Dnorris60 on 2017/12/31 17:50
This app is fine for folks who are deaf or hard of hearing and have good vision. What about those that are deaf and have low vision or eye sight problems like macular degeneration or glaucoma? At least give the options to change font size and have a high contrast between the foreground and background.

Description
Ava is an app designed to empower people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing by allowing to follow conversations in real time. The app provides 24/7 real-time captioning (with up to 95% accuracy, based on artificial intelligence), on your smartphone.

This app is very useful as I have sever hearing loss and just underwent cochlear implant surgery in one ear. I am trying to pay for a full subscription, but can't seem to do so. So far, I haven't been able to engage anyone from customer service to help me. Not a good sign of customer support is not helpful.

by Jimsday on 2019/11/04 15:43
It is a very good app. However, the banner that stops the app only stops if you pay about $14.00 a month. Most apps appear to stop their banners no matter what amount is paid.

How can we get the words to be more accurate and clear? Sometimes it’s not making sense

This journey as a deaf person is so much easier to accept with great tools like you!

by Devotadevo on 2019/02/07 07:15
While this app may not be perfect, it can make big improvements in a deaf person’s ability to “hear” others, particularly in relatively quiet environments and when there is good Wi-Fi. The transcription is not perfect, but if the other speaker enunciates, it can make a big difference to the quality of the transcription. Customer service is very responsive, and they listen to requests from the users and seem to be making ongoing improvements to the program.
Works great!

Setting does not stick...

You would think an app made specifically for transcribing speech would be better than Siri. It's not. Does not catch everything that is said and when it does, it's all a random jumble of words. Great app idea, poorly executed.

Awesome app

Thanks AVA! Good work!
Amazing!
by KD9FRT on 2019/08/20 21:30
I’m very impressed as words appear on my screen within a second after spoken under ideal conditions ($11 mic for each phone and quiet background noise).
AVA is best!
by Crystal Lee AG on 2019/06/25 12:55
I had my show Silence Paranormal Episode 2. 2 deaf people went to Wildwood Sanitarium and had interview with 2 hearing people we use AVA and everything went great! We love it! We definitely will do that again in the future! AVA, thank you for made this and it made everything easy communicate with hearing people!! Keep it going!
Big help
by kmopfr on 2018/10/19 15:32
My husband lost his battle with small cell lung cancer but for the last year before he died he was completely deaf due to paraneaplastic syndrome, this app was a huge help we could all talk at the same time in the same room or on the other side of the country .
Good when it works but it is not reliable ( and no, it isn’t my Internet conexión because you see the little microphone blinking as when is working but the screen is empty)

by BenCoug on 2019/09/25 21:09
I am late deafened and no longer hear speech.
Thank you!
Great last minute interpreter app!
by Nickykillz on 2018/09/18 00:23
Had to whip up an interpreter last minute and this app really pulled through there were some misunderstandings when it came to subtitles but I feel that’s with every subtitle device I’ve used so not bad at all. Thank you for developing this app!
Make for a more inclusive office and meetings
by jeremynolan on 2018/08/31 01:57
I love this app! One of my colleagues is hard of hearing and one of my work friends if deaf. It’s great to be able to communicate with my friends and introduce them to other members of the community. Absolutely love it!
I could almost guarantee 10x+ more people would pay if it were $3/mo

by Daniellehatesthisapp on 2018/12/21 01:49
You want MarcyMadness to give you Five stars even though she only gets 50% of the conversation? What a joke! I’m Deaf and I wouldn’t pay 30 bucks per month because I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the WHOLE conversation. Without the App I already miss half the conversation anyway so no point in downloading this app. I rather pay 5 bucks per month. Good luck!
Not working
by Pic good on 2019/02/24 00:50
I downloaded this app while ago, to use at church, but unfortunately didn’t help me, because it wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do, so I deleted it. I just downloaded again, because it said was an improvement.. let’s see if it will help me now.
Very Good for my Deaf Mother
by Prince of Air on 2019/03/03 20:45
very useful. only complaint i have is that i don’t get notifications when i leave the app, even though i have notifications on.
Helpful!!!

Voice!!!
by Bbruinshockey14 on 2019/04/28 23:34
There is no a way for me to adjust the voice accent since it talks like a British man (I want to switch the voice to make it sounds more serious so the hearing people won’t be laughing in the front of me each time I try to make a conversation with them). Please adjust it to an American voice.
Great help in communication
