Better alerts would be helpful
by SIDLER on 2019/08/24 16:01
When collaborating on lists it would be very helpful to have the option to be alerted when a list is updated.
Font is horrendous
by KaiserNautilus on 2019/08/23 01:07
At least give us an option for the legacy font instead of this new horrendous one. I can’t believe I updated the app by accident to be greeted with this ugly mess...
I like it, could be better tho
by Da Spec on 2019/08/23 00:26
I live the Google Keep app. I just wish I could personalize it more then just the check boxes, like bullets and numbers. Great app just on the next few updates I hope that there are numbers and bullets
Fix the reminder on the iPhone!!
by itzel pitzel on 2019/08/21 14:12
On the iPhone app it’s missing the option to add a reminder to a note. The app is worthless without it.
Erased mostly all my photo notes.
by New apple on 2019/08/19 06:46
Now all I see are placeholder icons of where the images should be. So much data lost. I feel like a chump for trusting this app. I wish I could post a screenshot of how my notes look now. Just a row of photo placeholder icons with small descriptions of what the note was about. Very sad.
I love it, way more color options and dark mode would be perfect
by Sam78737 on 2019/08/18 23:03
dark mode on desktop is amazing btw
Used to love this app...
by eahthompson on 2019/08/18 17:56
I have used this app for years and love how easy it is to navigate. I mostly use it for my grocery list, and wish items could be sorted alphabetically or in a particular order set by the user, but I’ve come to deal with that. What made me give it 2 stars is that I have completely lost the ability to move my notes around on the home screen. When I press and hold the note, it just opens it. Swiping right or left archives it. The thing I liked most about it was the freedom to organize things at will and not having that makes me want to find another notes app.
Love on my laptop HATE on my phone
by chanley15 on 2019/08/18 12:40
Google Keep is one of my favorite programs to use on my laptop for work and my personal life. However the app on my iPhone has been awful this past year. Every time I open it, I receive a message that says to refresh and that it might take some time. I have waited for at least a minute which doesn’t seem long but in this fast paced world, that is pretty long to be waiting for an app to refresh. I just end up closing it and tell myself I will add it online on my laptop but then I end up forgetting. I really wish they would fix this problem.
Updates
by draco banquet on 2019/08/14 00:19
I used to LOVE this but since the last update it is hard to add additional items to an existing list. eg grocery list
Love using this every day
by arpod19 on 2019/08/13 20:50
This app has become both my notepad and daily planner. I love using labels to categorize notes and refer to the categories when appropriate (I feel like this helps keep my mind from being bogged down and allows me to quickly reflect on what purpose the note is serving). I use the pin feature to keep all of my time sensitive goals and to-dos within view at the top of the page and add check boxes to get the satisfaction of crossing things off each day, week and month. Would highly recommend for anyone who’s tried many planners/planning apps but hasn’t found a system that works well for them.

Best app at all
by rez1363 on 2019/08/13 04:09
Simple access to Sort of daily routine. I find for some app like that and this appealing to me with lovely user-friendly features.
Worst Google App
by PissedOffPNW on 2019/08/12 20:37
I love google, but this is probably their worst app out there. It’s horribly glitchy and lags. Takes several seconds to scroll through my lists, which are only about 6, then usually 10+ seconds to open the list I selected, then even more time waiting to actually be able to add or remove things from my list. And if this happened every once in a while, OK, but it is every single time I open/use the app. I’ve given it a go for a while, hoping it would get fixed, but think I’m just gonna find another list app to use.
Keeps notes
by STUMPYMD on 2019/08/12 01:25
Google Keep is a basic note keeping app. You can organize notes by color like Post-It Notes. A feature I’d love to see implemented is when you search for a term the app highlights the term in the notes.
Keep
by SZ_Texas on 2019/08/11 16:24
I have used several several note taking applications, like one note. I travel a lot and don’t always have access to a laptop or tablet. This is a simple and easy to use software, best of all it sync’s on all my platforms I use FAST. For more elaborate notes i might use something else, but for 95% of what I need this works.
New Bugs Make Unusable
by kk352097 on 2019/08/10 20:22
I used to love this app and use it constantly for note-taking, checklists, etc. Unfortunately, I can no longer get it to put a cursor on the line where I need it, and if I do get it to said line, most of the time the keyboard won’t come up, so I can’t type. This makes new lists frustrating and long-standing lists all but impossible to use.
Good idea...terrible implementation
by k2yfa on 2019/08/10 19:25
Needs to allow dark mode, and resizable text, as does Simplenote, which I will keep on using.
Love it
by Siafu2012 on 2019/08/10 05:44
I’ve been using Keep for some years now for both personal and professional purposes and I find to be fast, reliable, simple and easy to use. There is no doubt it can be improved and more bells & whistles added to it, but I love it for its elegant simplicity and flawless syncing across my PC, iPad and iPhone.
Freezes while making network request
by julessb70 on 2019/08/10 01:25
App insists on contacting the cloud on launch, and if you have any problem getting a network connection, the app simply freezes. It makes it useless when you need to retrieve information on the go. Especially ironic since Google tells developers never to block the main thread...
Need password protection
by Megsanj on 2019/08/09 21:39
This app is good but lacks security feature. This needs to have password protection ability
Functional issues keep this from being a great app
by Chanel C on 2019/08/08 04:13
There should be a way to set a default Google account to use Keep from! I have multiple Google account on my phone that I access via Gmail, but only one that I use for Keep. Whenever I try to use the Keep widget (one of the best things about the app!), it choose at random which Google account it wants to open, leaving many random blank notes in various accounts. Fix this!
Update Request: completed tasks organized alphabetically and manually
by Mkthomas on 2019/08/07 13:31
I keep my shopping list on keep. Would be helpful to SORT COMPLETED items ALPHABETICALLY & MANUALLY, Since I hardly ever add (uncheck) all items. Linking Keep doc to Calendar. As Small business owner keep a diary of miscellaneous issues & expenditures, when out on a gig. ..... I love how EZ it is to make and share lists with others. List feature is fantastic. Used for planning travel (what to pack). Has made our frequent travel super easy. Used for planning family gatherings (who is bringing what?) Tracking gifts to buy/purchased...correspondence send/sent Used for my list of meds, house projects, seasonal projects/maintenance to do’s. I save images and links to places where we want to travel. I’ve also used for taking meeting notes to share. I know there are other options but this works for our sewing group. We can easily add pictures of the progress we make. As I said in the title...the ability to sort checked items would be really helpful. Like others..I use for huge master grocery list. Unchecking all is fantastic for my daily to do list but not my grocery list. Unchecking all items is not helpful in this case. Being able to scroll through alphabetically and select which items get added back on to my shopping list would make this app a 5 for me.
Garbage - just like most of Google’s apps
by Cameron0208 on 2019/08/05 19:49
If you’ve ever had the displeasure of using apps made by Google, then the nightmare that is the Google Keep app will not surprise you. It is not intuitive in the slightest. The UI/UX is atrocious and lacks any fundamental logic. The capabilities are limited. The biggest issue is the completely inexcusable lack of consistency amongst the apps integration with other apps. Sometimes, you can save an item to Keep. Sometimes, you can only copy it over. Other times, there’s no options at all. This app is almost as useless as the Google Drive app, which is not an easy feat to accomplish.
Need to fix title cursor
by Givinguponf1 on 2019/08/05 02:16
It’s so hard to place the cursor on the title panel.. have to click multiple times to get it there. Everything is great about this app, but the amount of time it takes to get the cursor in the right place, is making me look for another app
great start but slow sync and feels unfinished
by Luhmann on 2019/08/04 05:49
Slow sync makes it hard to use. And ux lacks polish, especially around tagging. Need to be able to search tags. Editing a photo sometimes deletes it! Update: sync is now so slow that the app is unusable.
Worthless
by ddt5420 on 2019/08/03 20:31
Terrible for Google. Expected much better. On iPhone, difficult to move item up or down past what’s displayed. When touch to edit, highlights word without bringing up keyboard. Won’t allow more than one list. Could go in, but all the above are deal breakers
Right to left (Hebrew, Arabic) is not working well
by Royazr on 2019/07/31 20:20
RTL (right to left) writing is not supported well in the app and the text is not aligned properly after writing in Hebrew and saving a note.
Issue with keyboard
by Lissie Marie on 2019/07/25 14:59

Google “Lost”
by tohemi001 on 2019/07/24 11:41
The one piece of information I deemed important stored here, that’s the one Google loses for me from among many others. I went to show someone, and no note. I checked all my mobile devices.
Great
by Sushii_Bear on 2019/07/21 11:46
I especially like the photos to text feature built in.
Best app for study !
by ashkaaaaannnaaanooo on 2019/07/21 08:41
Free Easy to use Share on multiple devices Find by tag Thanks for your great app.
Password protection
by qetyufdd on 2019/07/20 13:28
Please add the ability to password protect Labels. Will this feature be added? 11/12/18 Also add the ability to put notes in alphabetical order. 11/12/18 Come on Google enough of the bug fixes. Add features. Never no new features. 7/17/19 Google puts out an app and forgets about it. Same way with all the fragmented phones that never get updated.
Freeze/Crash
by barefoot_princess on 2019/07/19 13:41
Barely usable on iOS. Can send items to Keep but freezes when opened.
Needs update
by JTG66 on 2019/07/19 11:09
The app was great until I got the XS max. Now the app keeps closing out when using the "indent" feature. Please, fix bug soon. I don't want to find another note taking app and relearn the nuances
Freezes—-MORE TIMES THAN NOT
by Note_Luver on 2019/07/18 19:06
Too bad...I’ve used this app since it’s I inception and to be candid it’s only gotten worse. I mean what enhancements hVe they released? 100% of their roadmap is to help THEM so they would care less about the UX. They obviously have some things they are monitoring because recently I’ve. Prices that the app is freezing 100% on station (for about 1 minutes). I stopped using because by the time to unlocks I forget what I was wanting to note down. VERY disappointment for Google. I think they perhaps juR night the app and distribute it as I cannot see a company like Google releasing this sort of garbage. BTW, I only have a few notes and a few images so it’s not a problem with the about of USER data being loaded. Instead they have some services that o cohost went untested thst is eating all the memory. . . Hi.
Suddenly developed problems
by IrishJewel on 2019/07/16 20:37
Not sure why but suddenly google keep doesn’t work well on my iPhone..especially since the last update. It locks up and won’t let me add anything. Constantly freezing and shutting itself down.
Love it
by EtHakanCrem on 2019/07/16 08:29
Taking notes like post-it and send those to google documents to create one text file is awesome feature
Security and variablity
by delvw on 2019/07/16 03:16
1. Make it so that I can lock a note so that no one can see that note unless a password or pin is entered 2. They aren't a lot of note options and the options that are already there are too restrictive such as typing with bullet points makes me use bullet points every line, even when I don’t want to use it for every line 3. Broader array of functions and controls
App delay
by Ko_Htet on 2019/07/15 05:05
Firstly, I Love this app. Always use this app for my notes and lists and others because it is a nice app for that. But now, when I open app, its take 20 or 30 second to get into my notes list on iphone 7. I wanna request u to fix that delay problem.
Always broken
by NovaNat on 2019/07/13 03:29
Every time I try to share something to keep it freezes up the app I'm sharing from. Twice in the past year the developers managed to fix this for a few weeks before they release another update breaking the app again. I'm just astonished at the incompetence the devs have repeatedly shown and why they can't fix problem.
Refresh
by BuckyBadger1981 on 2019/07/09 18:45
What is up with it needing to regularly refresh the app and taking so long to do so?
Great but still need improvement
by Mr. aml on 2019/07/07 09:51
It's a great note for synchronized to each other phone and sharing note between different account but location base reminder is not working as in iPhone reminder app.
Unlimited Tags Please!
by iBluerose324 on 2019/07/05 15:48
I would use this app so much more if there were unlimited tags. The 99 tags limit is such a pain.
What a mess!
by interlard on 2019/07/05 05:23
No formatting. Poor excuse for automatic numbering. Nested indented items are poorly positioned. Checkbox and drag controls take up way too much space. This is not up to Google's usual standard.
Love the app, but it’s too slow
by ,)66:)$99 on 2019/07/04 17:51
This is my favorite app and it is extremely useful, but it takes too long to load. It isn’t a WiFi problem. It is the app’s fault. I will continue to use it, but it’s frustrating. A suggestion that I have is when I share a website to my Google Keep, I would appreciate a “pin” button at the time of posting.
doesn’t show up on my phone
by jshabdbjsnas on 2019/07/03 17:28
when i went to check for my notes, they were missing. i later checked on my computer and they were there. i can see my notes on any device other than my phone.
Limited color choices and a bit buggy but overall a great app
by LoveMeSomeRedVines on 2019/06/30 17:28
The colors are a bit bright and the contrast of the black against them is jarring for my eyes. Would love to see more options for colored backgrounds. (This is not just a design option - it’s a functional feature bc it helps locate specific lists quickly when they are color coded.) The app can be buggy and sometimes it crashes when I am adding items. But it’s not all that frequent. Overall it’s an excellent tool to keep things organized. I recommend it to many people, especially teachers.

Hoarders beware
by jerodgreen on 2019/06/27 13:47
A useful concept, a free version of Evernote that integrates well with other Google apps?! No. That's not this app. Keep is a light weight toy that's more like iOS Notes. However Notes performs, Keep will literally lock your whole phone for nearly a full 20 seconds before processing a command. That's because, I'll admit, I love to keep digital artifacts. I keep articles, job postings, shopping links, all to come back to and inform a new decision. I work in marketing and it's useful to have great copy or designs to reference. Keep can't keep up, simply can't hang. It offers one of the poorest user experiences out there and I think that's simply because it was never built to do what I think most people would love it to do: keep stuff. Keep is useful if you just want to jott something down quick and delete it soon after. I actually enjoy pen and paper for that! Wish me luck, I'm about to clean out my sluggish Keep app and move over to Evernote.
Fix the connectivity issue

No badges, buggy repeat schedules, no Windows app
by tehbryan on 2019/06/24 13:56
Reminders don’t trigger the badge counter on the app icon, so you don’t get the ongoing visual reminder that there are pending items. After marking an item as done that has a repeat schedule, it frequently changes the next occurrence to a year away even if configured to occur every week. No app for Windows, which impairs ability to continue to be productive with the tool across devices.
Useful and Customizable
by Upset history buff on 2019/06/24 01:05
I love using this app to keep myself organized. However I wish the block setting would allow you to put your notes in whatever order you wanted them, instead of shuffling the notes around out of the particular order you wanted. Otherwise I love this app, fun, easy and functional.
Love this app, but...
by Orangejeffree on 2019/06/24 00:57
I love using this app, and it’s probably the most important one I use. I use it to organize artwork I’ve done, and inspiration for future drawings/paintings. The only issue I have is the app crashes VERY often. Tap to enlarge an image, crash. Add too many images, crash. Delete an image too soon after adding it, crash. I mean, it’s at the point where I have to stop using the app because I can’t get anything done without it crashing. Please fix the crashes or tell me what I’m doing wrong, because I really need this app.

Is great but as a long term user this is long awaited feature
by Saif ibn yazan on 2019/06/19 22:33
We need undo button & more like a feature to make a note finished. (So even when we open a note and wont accidentally re-edits and change the edited date)
Highlighting
by Why expired? on 2019/06/17 10:41
Would love to be able to HIGHLIGHT a line in a note rather than make a separate note with a background color. Or BOLD. Or UNDERLINE. Something that would distinguish one line from another.

by Sandy seashore on 2019/06/16 21:00
i’m kinda perplexed by some of the complaints from recent reviewers. i’m low tech though & perhaps that’s to my advantage when it comes to this app because i’ve tried dozens like it over the course of my many years as an iphone haver & this app changed the game for me. i’ve had it a year or more and it’s given me exactly zero issues. it’s convenient, colorful, functional, & free. if i were you i’d download this sweet little widget wonder and if you don’t like it then delete it. i’m here to help & you are all welcome 😉
Missing Badge Notifications made this useless
by phantom_dilz on 2019/06/16 18:23
I think there is potential for this app to be better than the apple reminders app, but there’s one glaring weakness- it won’t display a badge notification. So if your reminder goes off and you miss or don’t notice the banner, that’s it. There’s no red circle indicating something is overdue. I can’t recommend this app to anyone unless that feature gets added...it’s mind boggling to me that in 2019 an official google app wouldn’t have the standard notifications setup that even terrible knock-off game apps have.
Makes life easier
by Bashar011116188 on 2019/06/14 19:18
Thank you google! Keep up the great work! It would be great if you can let us choose a default label so I don’t have to keep labeling my notes and pics.
Used to be better
by Calkatie on 2019/06/13 20:13
Used to be better, but now it’s gotten buggy. Every time I use it I get a notification that it needs to refresh and “may take a while”. Even after I hit refresh, it won’t go away and is a large and distracting bar that blocks what you’re trying to type since it’s directly above the keyboard. I also see no difference before and after it does refresh, and it literally shows up every time I open the app. If this would go away the app would be 5 stars, but lately it’s just so annoying to use.
weirdly limited
by squalamack on 2019/06/12 21:15
For example it’s not possible to attach a file to a note, there is no Mac app, and Apple Watch support is weirdly limited in terms of what notes you can see, editing, etc. You can’t even append to, or delete a note on Apple Watch. (If you want a notes app that supports the watch properly look to Drafts or Bear).
Crashes every app when used
by olsentropy on 2019/06/11 14:31
I can’t believe the company is not fixed a bug that crashes every single app that you try to save material with out of Google Keep. Guys, it’s basically unusable. Can you fix it?
Good Application, But.....
by Ldyrose on 2019/06/10 22:54
I would love to have the option to set my notes up the way I want, not have the app arrange it for me. It would also be great to have the ability to assign a time reminder for each check box item, not just the whole note. I love being able to see the notes in different colors. Having the full page view and seeing different notes is perfect!

Folders & Widget
by Ejaazi on 2019/06/10 05:02
Instead of a main page with notes all over the page, Google Keep needs folders much like Google Drive. It also needs a widget that displays reminders.
Excellent in principle but buggy on iPad
by Shenandoah Fisher on 2019/06/08 12:15
I moved to Keep from Evernote because I tend to go All Things Google to help with compatibility. It works great on my Pixel, but it’s buggy on the iPad. Worst part is just starting a new note! It rarely works, or just slowly when it does. Opening notes can be a challenge, too. Freezes up constantly. Developers, please don’t give up on this app; I use for all sorts of notes, from work to travel to hobbies. I really like it on my MacBook Pro and my Pixel (although I do wish I could add a pdf to a note), just not on the iPad.
Hit and miss
by MaskedKumquat on 2019/06/07 18:22
Nice collaborative note application, but it frequently has bugs that make it unusable. I mostly use it for check lists. The latest update no longer allows me to unindent an subitem in the middle of a list to create a new top-level list; it just crashes the app. This fundamental regression reflects seriously poor quality control, and that makes me seriously question the integrity of my data. Suppose it’s time to look for a better alternative... again.
There’s so much more you should add to it!
by Sana Haider on 2019/06/07 16:23
I really love this app, because I can access the contents from my phone or laptop because it’s connected to my google account. For that, I have no complaints. However, I wish there were more customizable options when taking notes. To be able to bold or italicize your notes so that they are more easier to read and more organized (like the apple notes app!) I think this app is great to jot down quick notes, but it could be even better for the major neat freaks out there like me if there was more customization with the notes you are taking! If there are features to put notes under labels to organize it in that sense, it should have more document features a well!

Google Keep v.s. Notes
by 😂🤣😂🤣😂👍🏻 on 2019/06/05 01:54
Originally, I had the notes app that came with the apple phone. It was nice, but ran out of space very quickly. I have more notes on Google Keep than I do on Notes, and I have not run out of space, which I love. I write basically everything worth remembering down, and I love how I can pin a note, do different colors for the pages to color-code them, add drawings, recordings, images, & more. I definitely recommend downloading this. Some people say it crashes, but it hasn’t got me. I have this on my apple iPad, in case you were wondering. Overall, great app, definitely recommend.

The design and convenience of Google Keep is, without a doubt, the best on the market. I use it mostly for my grocery list, and it’s convenient to have all the items still on the list after I’ve checked them off. I love that they added the feature that we can indent items. This allows me to make categories so I know which sections each items will be in at the store. However, there are a lot of glitches that make this app unbearable as well. For one, when I add something to the list, I expect it to be located in the same location it was added. Instead, it pops up in the most random of places. I don’t want popcorn listed in my produce section! It also likes to randomly move things that were already on the list, too, or indent them, un-indent them, or whatever. No, cucumber is NOT a category! And meats and cheeses is not a list item! The app crashes on me quite frequently, as well. If I go to uncheck an item, it will crash on me. If I go to make a long list, it gets unbearably slow, and with a task that is already tedious, finishing the task becomes a nightmare. So I will give this app a generous two stars for the things that I like in hopes that my low rating will prompt developers to fix these issues.
Too quick to cut off
by NotChewy on 2019/06/04 12:00
I like it but my main problem is that the audio recording feature cuts off so fast that you can’t finish a thought. It should be a continuous recording until I tell it to turn off or it should last about five seconds after I’m done speaking so that I get all my words captured. One year on, still no control of audio recording. Errr
Slow with multiple accounts, changes default account
by LeonDeBoucher on 2019/06/02 13:38
Takes a long time to be useful if you have more than one Google account, especially on a slow (e.g., LTE) connection, and often changes the default account on you, so you have to be on your toes. An adequate app for keeping small tidbits of information. Yet when it starts up when I have a slow connection and multiple accounts, I get a blank screen for about a half-minute. Plus it freezes for about ten seconds when I share to Keep on a slow connection. Plus lately it likes to default to a Google account I’ve never used with Keep before, so I keep having to switch accounts before saving. The ultimate solution is to remove all Google accounts from your iDevice except the one you use the most. Then it’s usable.
Good for Quick Notes and Lists
by Jesse808 on 2019/06/01 17:45
This app is good for quick notes and lists. For keeping and organizing meeting notes and projects, use MS One Note. I wish Google would make an app like One Note or make Keep much more robust.
This app is an embarrassment for google
by Anon4232 on 2019/05/31 04:59
Half the time you open the app, despite being on the latest iPhone with 300mbps WiFi, it takes about 10 seconds to unfreeze itself before it accepting any kind of input.

Initially great, super slow last several months
by Jackbanditdude on 2019/05/27 23:52
Initially my wife and I loved using the Keep app on our phones. Then it started getting really slow, so slow compared to apps like OneNote and EverNote and regular to do apps that I’ve essentially given up on it except for cases where other people need me to use it.

Lock mode
by sandip47 on 2019/05/24 08:20
I really really love this app and being able to use across multiple devices is really a great advantage using it. But the problem is something there are some sensitive data we want to keep in notes and not being able to password protected is a let down. That the only reason I use stock note app. So please add a feature to password protected the notes.
Password

It would be helpful if you wanted to password protect your information it Would give you that option. I have used this app for a few years but will be looking for something I can secure with a password .

Fix Apple Watch issue
by Cah1735439 on 2019/05/20 12:53
I like the app because it supports Apple Watch, which not even Apple’s Notes app does. It’s nice to glance at my wrist to look at a shopping list or reminder and keep my phone in my pocket if I’m out and about. However, there is an issue with the Apple Watch that I am experiencing. I have deleted the note from Keep, but it still shows up on my watch. I would like it to be so that when I delete a note, it deletes on my watch also. Please fix this, as it is irritating to have many notes/lists on my watch face with such a small screen.
Refresh needed. Refresh. Needed. REFRESH NEEDED.
by bustamove2772 on 2019/05/18 23:12
I’m so tired of logging in and being told ‘refresh needed.’ Seriously it’s almost every time. And refresh takes 4-5 minutes on average, and fails almost every time. I love this app. I don’t want to migrate all of my notes away from here, but it’s pissing me off at this point that this continues to happen.
So slow it’s unusable
by jaimemarijke on 2019/05/18 02:32
When I click on anything it can take ~30 seconds to actually respond. Really a bummer because I love using Keep on my laptop and would like to sync with my phone.

Google keep
by asuolprof on 2019/05/13 21:20
Great for organizing. I don’t use it for grocery lists so will defer to others who have reviewed that functionality. What I would like is the ability to underline and to bold fonts. Other than that I am pretty happy with app.
Used to love this app
by Torqued!! on 2018/05/02 02:34
I used to love this app. My wife and I kept a shared grocery list as well as others. The grocery list, by far, gets the most use. For the last year and a half, it has become pretty buggy for me. Lists would disappear, updates made by one collaborator would not show up for the others on the list. Now, lately, I can’t seem to add an item to my grocery list without the app crashing. I’ve closed the app on my iPhone, restarted it, shut the app down, hard booted my phone, created a copy of a list and deleted the original to see if one was corrupted, you name it, I’ve tried it. Now, not only does the app crash most of the time, when I do successfully add a line item, instead of keeping it where I added it, Keep tosses the line item down to the bottom of the list. I’m not able to move the item in the list order now as well. I’ve taken great pains to order the grocery list to coincide with the layout of my local grocery store. It’s WAY more efficient that way. Now it’s becoming an aggravation. I’ve got over 300 items in my list. Starting over would be a headache. I’m not really interested in using one of the other shopping apps that force a subscription or demand an account be set up for all members to share. I really liked the way Google Keep used to work. Google! Please fix this app!! For what it’s worth, I’m using an iPhone 6+ with iOS 11.3.whatever the latest is.
Best app for organization!
by Sirenia Garcia on 2018/07/16 14:42
This app is a great app for organization. Hi, I’m a teenager of the age of 14. In high school you really need to get organized, write down what homework needs to get done reminders on test dates. As of right now though it is summer and I don’t want to be just laying around in bed all summer watching videos or being lazy. I at least want to be a bit productive, so I was on the search for a to do list app that will help me feel accomplished in the goals I set. So I went searching and most organizer apps and to do list apps have a fee, which if your under 16 years old you can’t really do that. I downloaded a bunch of apps looking for the right one. For an estimate on how many I downloaded and deleted was about 8, which is a lot. On this app I can put my to do list, write reminders, and put pictures to remind myself to love myself and remind me that people care about me to. Those inspirational pictures and encouraging pictures I’d say help me from going down into the hole of depression. (I might be overreacting to that but it’s true) so I wanted to thank google for making an app like this! ❤️
98% Useful
by Nathan Gene Morgan on 2018/09/25 19:45
Overall it is increased team productivity and communication on projects as well as personal issues by the grocery list and recipes. Sometimes especially later at night lists/notes won’t update with collaborators/other devices. My friends and some are staying up late one night and I had a couple notes for my product manager he lives in LA and I in New York, So he was a couple hours behind me. But that really didn’t make a difference because by the time he had gotten my notes it was already late his time. Sometimes it takes up to 20 minutes just for one slight alteration I’m at note. Now it’s not as important but the voice recorder needs a bit of work as well. For some reason it doesn’t continuously record, after a couple moments of talking it automatically stop recording. Instead you should make it something more like apples talk to type function where it will continuously record until you stop it as well as keeping the auto. Pr just have an option to make it manually via press+hold.
Incredible productivity tool!
by nbct.wright on 2017/12/28 10:38
This app has quickly become one of my go to apps throughout each and every day. It’s cross-platform approach makes jotting a note on my phone, revising it on my Chromebook, then converting it to a Google Doc on my desktop a snap. It is lightweight in terms of storage space and processor demands, yet it is robust in its abilities. Saving audio, photos, etc into notes is simple. Setting reminders, even recurring reminders, makes this app outrageously useful for jotting quick reminders when adding something to a calendar is just too time consuming. And again, the cross-platform approach means that the reminder pops up on your iPhone, your Chromebook, and your Windows machine (or Mac) unlike Apple’s native reminder / to do apps. Of course, you have to be using Chrome on your computers as the internet browser. But why wouldn’t you? :-) In all, it’s a very useful app for organizing and staying on top of personal and professional business!
need more to be better than iphone note
by xmanfreeman76 on 2017/12/02 10:22
If you want to check the difference between iphone note and google keep, you will find that iphone note is great, because you can write arabic language from right to left without any issue and great emoji and good quality of emoji that is written in iOS note that defeat google keep, but wait google is good too for more space 15 GB good too. Now the solution: 1- fix the alignment ( arabic and english) 2- create good emoji pictures different than iphone to be for google. 3- fix links issues and google map links too. 4- increase the security of google keep. 5- lets work with iOS company to merge between iphone notes and google keep easily. ( this need high step cooperation) 6- give a chance to share from iphone studio to google keep easily. 7- easy drawing note with iOS Cooperation between note and google keep. 8- more folders and subfolders and easy way to search for sub folders and easy lock for each secure note 9- each google keep note have a date and synchronized with calendar and easy create a link between calendar day and google keep note. 10- anything new will be great idea to help more in business or normal life Like for example record a voice note or transfer voice note from iOS note to google keep note with option of recording voice. My wishes for google 🌹
Updated - Late September update seems to have fixed the issues caused by the August changes.
by shecasx on 2017/10/26 23:10
[updated] They finally seem to have fixed Keep, thank goodness. For about 6 weeks it was unusable. Now it seems to work fine, no longer deleting items and failing to sync. Glad Google fixed what they had broken, but better communication from the company to its users should have happened. 👎 on treating your users this way. I used it daily. Still use it via the web. But the August iPhone update made it unusable. Can't connect. Screws up your entries. It's a disaster. And Google's been silent through it all. No acknowledgement anywhere -- support pages or forums -- of the problems. The app support pages are worthless. Hey Google, end the silence and let us know that you've heard us! And fix this used-to-be great app and the sync issues, please.
Bold, Italic & underline formatting are missing but it’s a great alternative to Onenote
by BoredMeteor on 2017/12/22 09:34
It feels incomprehensible that Google wouldn’t allow users of this great app to format text with bold, italic or underline. This basic feature, part of every word processing program since the late 80s is missing from this app! It’s stupefying. You can do this in every other Google app but not this one. This missing feature is single-handedly keeping this app from really competing with Microsoft OneNote. Google has an opportunity since OneNote for iOS has been badly broken for over a year. It won’t sync notes across platforms anymore! Authentication is completely bugged and your notes won’t sync unless you sign in every day which leads to all kinds of conflicts. The app is unusable these days. Google keep could pick up that market. That’s how I know about it. I had to abandon Microsoft’s platform after they broke it.
Used to be a five star app...
by One of millions... on 2018/08/10 16:28
Google Keep used to be my favorite app for making lists. I loved that if I switched devices, it would update across them seamlessly. However, the last two updates broke the app. It started freezing while checking things off the list with the update prior to the most recent one. Now, with the newest update, the app will not refresh and update across my devices, no matter how much I try to get it to work. It started with freezing and crashing upon opening, and now it tells me I need to “refresh”, but when I do it sits on a white screen saying it’s “Refreshing...” and then comes back to say the “refresh failed” and to try again later. It’s become more of a pain to use than it’s worth, so I just deleted it and will use the native list app on my iPhone for now. Hopefully when I check back in a couple months these problems are fixed, and I can start using this app again.
Good
by Iniyaaaa on 2019/04/28 02:31
I prefer using everything google from mail to photos because everything syncs up no matter what device you’re on and when I found out there was a notes app I immediately downloaded it,, I really like the concept and how you can have the checkboxes and colors however the labels and archiving don’t sync up very well. I like to have some notes for cooking or workouts and not have them clog up my main screen so I archive them and put them in their labels, but when I click the label and click the notes it brings me to the archive section, but the device still thinks It is in the individual label and I have to click out and click back it to get just the notes in the label to pop back and it’s quite annoying. I would prefer it if the labels acted like folders in drive rather than just labels or have the options for both.
Was once a great app
by DurdeeBurger on 2018/02/23 05:04
I still use this as my main note taking apps because if everything worked correctly it would fit my needs the best. I used to shared lists like grocery lists with my wife but we stopped doing that after too many syncing issues where we would get to the store and notice have the list is missing. I could get over that, however recently I have had this issue where when I’m trying to edit a list the keyboard keeps glitching where it seems like it’s constantly trying to create a new keyboard making it impossible to type. Happens way too often and kills the experience. Idk why this started to happen, worked great for so long. I would just use Apple notes but I want my checked items to get lumped together like this app does...wish they would fix this app.
Lag, non-responsive, failures to sync
by oberon526 on 2017/10/01 08:21
I am hugely reliant on this app. Unfortunately, since iOS 11, and especially with this most recent app update, the app has become very unstable. Syncing across my devices is sketchy at best, and information disappears. I’ve had to recreate whole sections of notes which sync my updates; rather, the app took the updated note and synced it backwards to the previous version on another device. Response to touch / type /cursor movement is slow at best, but usually impossible. You can’t move the cursor anywhere. To move in a note, you actually have to exit the note, re-enter it, carefully place the cursor at what you need to edit (nowhere else!), then exit again, and re-enter it at the next place to edit. Any attempt to move the cursor or tap elsewhere in the note has absolutely no response. I hope this is rapidly addressed, as otherwise Keep is a lifeline app for me.
Nice app, but still a lot to improve
by BobHuRunqiu on 2017/12/09 02:15
1. Widget on the lock screen only shows the reminders but not the to-do list, that makes it meaningless to have a lock screen widgets. The widgets should be able to uncheck and check the to-do list and see various kinds of notes in Keep. 2. If you choose to use check box in a note, the entire note has to be the check box list. But sometimes say I am making plans of the day and I want the note to be like different elements containing in a note.([]stands for the check box) ——————————————————— Plans for today [ ] Learning [ ]Assignment 1 (done before 10 a.m) [ ]Assignment 2 (submit before 11) [ ]... [ ] Shopping [ ]Item 1 [ ]Ietm 2 (PICTURE of Item2 added here) Make sure to come back at 5 p.m. (only set reminder at this event) ——————————————————— 3. The pictures can only be added at the top of the notes, making it impossible to record something with words and pictures in the notes. We sometimes take a photo of the powerpoint or add a screenshots in lecture notes, and then make some notes under the picture, but this cannot be done in Keep since the picture is on the top.
Even buggier-unusable
by NHGadgetLuvr on 2019/03/29 12:22
I love Keep, but this app is very buggy. I open a note that says Grocery, but a list of errands opens instead. Sometimes as many as 3 or 4 copies of the same note are generated. Other times the notes shuffle unexpectedly. Would be great if it functioned like the Web version. Update: Downgraded to one star. I am the only person using the app it is not shared. Yet duplicate notes are created, they shuffle back and forth, the wrong notes open when i tap on it. I love this app and it is so usable and functional, but these problems are driving me away. As much as i want to use it, I’ve even down presentations to others about it, the problems have to be fixed. 3/29: downgraded to 1 star. Duplicated notes and duplicated entries on notes. Web version is fine, but the app is unusable with duplicated entries on checklists, wrong note opening when you tap on (tap on Shopping, laundry list note opens).
Good, but...
by itsmyw0nderland on 2018/01/08 19:17
Overall, the app is good. Display is visually appealing and is user friendly. But it could benefit from a few things: • in two column view, it would be nice if you could have the option to organize things in two columns rather than just from left-to-right format which automatically re-formats the remainder of the items • if you could add multiple lists in a single note. Once you make a list in a note, you don’t have the option of a line break to make a new list in the same note. • the date & time reminder feature isn’t responsive. When you try to change the date or time of a reminder, it doesn’t recognize the change and just defaults back to the original time
You have to give it a chance
by Larry.McJ on 2018/08/03 14:25
The first time I tried Google Keep, it failed. However, that was not a problem with Google Keep, it was my problem and not fully understanding how Google keep works. Once I adapted to its way of keeping notes, I found it even better than apple notes, which I have used for years. Google keep does a nice job of organizing with labels, making it easier to find things were search rather than categories or folders. The clipper used in any browser is very effective. If you use Gmail, Google calendar, or have any investment in the Google ecosystem, you should try Google Keep. Once you adapt to it, you will like it.

I love this app it’s easy to use and Aesthetically pleasing I like how everything is in a nice neat order but I would love if I had the ability to create files for different notes for example if I had one for math notes and another for homework I need to complete I know I can put labels on things it it still all shows up under “notes” I also think it would be great to have the option to bold things or change the font and color etc. Another thing is sometimes notes stop opening but I found if you open another note and click on it agin it works or if you archive it and undo it works but that’s a lot of work and I hope that bug could be fixed

Instead they have some services that o cohost went untested thst is eating all the memory. . . Hi.
Using Google Keep in the classroom
by Crowlarbear on 2019/05/05 20:30
If you and your students are using Google Classroom, Keep is an excellent addition to research tools. Show the young scholars how to use keep to save articles, and they don’t forget to copy info required in their Works Cited Page. Keep also allows group collaboration and when used in conjunction with Google Slides and Documents provides excellent communication for students working at home or unable to communicate orally (Reduces Social interruptions and promotes productivity). Particularly valuable when multiple students develop portions of projects independently with the intention of sharing/combining in final group activity.
Update fixed nothing for my Chrome, iPad & iPhone
by Slow56 on 2018/10/19 13:37
The app worked great for about 2 months this summer. Then syncing stopped. And has only worked once that time about a month ago!! None of the recent updates have fixed anything for me! This app has great potential if it worked as promoted. The troubling shooting instruments would be helpful if the instructions matched what was being seen on the screens! Still have MAJOR syncing issues between Chrome, iPad & iPhone!!!! I’ve never gotten a conflicting note ‘notification’ to select an updated vs outdated note. All devices at least ‘appear’ to be logged in to the same account, I only use it on one login. What does ‘offline’ mean when all devices have Internet access???? Please expand your troubling instructions ‘cause they ain’t work’n for me! I use this for work and can’t mess with this much longer.
Good integration with Google docs, collaborators
by menicosia on 2017/12/13 05:41
I like Keep more than Evernote because it has good integration with Google Docs (well, send to Docs) and you can add other collaborators easily. Some minor complaints: - I use a bluetooth keyboard to take notes. With the iPad in landscape mode, Keep only uses the top third of the screen, making room for an on-screen keyboard which is not present! I'd love to make better use of my screen's real estate. - Once you've sent an item to Google Docs, you can no longer edit it in Google Keep. I like Keep's lightweight editing UI, it would be nice if I could continue editing the text from this app, without having to switch over to the Google Docs editor. Or at least, remember a reference in Keep; sometimes I don't remember if I've promoted a note to Google Docs, "Why can't I find this note anymore? I could have sworn I'd taken this down in Keep!" - Can't add a collaborator for just one item in a task list. If I want to remind someone to do something, I need to create a new list and create a single to-do to add them as a collaborator.
Useful!
by AlixInWinterland on 2018/02/02 16:19
I've only had this app for a couple days so I haven't been able to see to its full functionality but I think that so far, the app has its uses. I've used many note and list apps, including onenote, evernote, wunderlist, and apple's native reminders and notes apps. This app combines the functionality of a note and a list into one app with a sticky note design, which is appealing for me. I haven't really done any syncing across devices so I haven't experienced any of those issues. Most of the updating I do will be via phone as I see it's most usefulness being as a mobile app when I can't reach a computer to jot something down. One thing that made me dock a star off though is that I have multiple Gmail accounts attached to my phone. Every time I open the app, it asks for which account to use (as the saves are done by account, which makes sense.) It would be nice to be able to set a default account, as I've never had this kind of problem in the Gmail app and it's not like the number of accounts on that app is any different.
Superior thanks to simplicity, versatility and appearance
by LasseLus on 2018/09/21 12:50
I keep returning to Keep after numerous cases of having been seduced and ultimately left disappointed by more complex to-do apps, which I consistently find not being worth the sustained effort they require. Being a simple minded person, I need the intuitive simplicity of Keep. It can be bent to serve all sorts of purposes and, importantly, it displays them side by side rather than hiding them in drill-down hierarchies with excessive space between line items. My wish is for Google to let Keep retain its brilliant simplicity while allocating a bit more resources to its maintenance and refinement.
Recent update ruined the app
by CodyAustin on 2018/11/07 01:17
Unfortunately, the most recent update has made it almost unbearable. It now takes 4-7 touches for a note to open and the whole app is delayed and glitchy. I am, quite literally, the biggest Google Keep fan I know. I have used it for years, and I've told countless friends about how powerful it is. This app has kept me sane, helped me stay in touch with lists and plans and priories, and has been the platform upon which I have written some of my best creative works. Not sure what happened with the update, but I hope it's fixed ASAP.
New update is laggy
by tps42 on 2018/11/03 06:24
I use this app daily. It's one of the apps that I leave open in the background because I refer to it many times throughout the day and night. This last update is devastating. The stark white background is blinding and affects the battery life of my older iPhone 6S. It's also INCREDIBLY laggy. Scrolling through a long note threatens to crash the app and the lag is very noticeable. Tapping on a note takes many repeated taps and takes 5-10 seconds to open. Up until this update, Keep was snappy and responsive. This needs to be fixed. This is one of my most used apps, and it would be a kick to the groin if I had to switch to another app just to make quick notes. Please fix these issues AND GIVE US A DARK MODE!
Don’t Like the New Look
by TaRacey on 2018/12/02 13:11
They still haven’t updated the small font issue. So this app is useless to me. I really hope there is a way to get the old look back because I don’t like the new look. Since you have changed the font everything is much smaller now and harder for older eyes to see and read it. Please tell me there is a way to switch back to the old way. Update: Things are pretty much back to normal with latest update. Thank you! This app worked well until the current update. Now I can’t use it. Keeps telling me it needs to refresh and when I click the refresh button it crashes and when it finally opens about 80% of my content is missing. I seriously need to get to my notes. Please fix this! Update: The few lists I was left with after this recent update can’t be changed. I can’t move anything within the list and the app continues to insist that it needs to be refreshed and then crashes. Other important notes are gone and not showing up at all. Very disappointing. When you try to make things better for others, please don’t make things worse for the rest of us.

by SpicyMustardSeeds on 2018/04/19 04:17
Overall I love the functionality of the app. I do wish the graphic design was a little more considered though and matched the rest of Google’s brand standards, or then at least give the user the ability to change the font. It would also be nice if when you are in Google Calendar and click the option “open in Google Keep” if it actually opened up that note instead of just opening the app. It would be extra nice if Google Calendar could just import the checklist from Keep and you could use it in Calendar. Overall I would recommend

i’m kinda perplexed by some of the complaints from recent reviewers. i’m low tech though & perhaps that’s to my advantage when it comes to this app because i’ve tried dozens like it over the course of my many years as an iphone haver & this app changed the game for me. i’ve had it a year or more and it’s given me exactly zero issues. it’s convenient, colorful, functional, & free. if i were you i’d download this sweet little widget wonder and if you don’t like it then delete it. i’m here to help & you are all welcome 😉
I LOVE Google Keep
by kkapatos on 2019/01/17 05:17
A good way to keep track of stuff. Just go to the menu on your computer in google and select more and it will take you right to it. You can use it for work to create to do lists and set reminders that sync right to your calendar. you can also set up your inbox so that it is pulled up on your computer all of the time. You can also use it on the go which is what I use it for the shopping list feature. it is amazing and I can't say better things about an app like Google Keep.
Some issues with iPhone version
by DarkLuminosity on 2018/11/05 03:54
I love Google Keep but have been experiencing issues with the iPhone version. I still have my old Samsung phone so I use Google Keep on there too, and it seems to work much better. -I have to keep tapping the list I want to open (only a recent issue, from late Oct 2018), sometimes with no success. -When I sort my list, it will move things on its own (the item I moved PLUS other items) while also adding old items that were checked off, back ONTO the list. This is the most frustrating glitch because now my list is completely out of order and outdated. I use it for scheduling so this absolutely won't work. It's only a recent issue as well from late Oct/early Nov. -App sometimes randomly closes on me when I type something in and it auto-fills (for repeat items I check off). Or sometimes it just closes for no apparent reason. -The keyboard used to bug out on me before but not so much now. I use a third party keyboard app (SwiftKey) and it would glitch back to the Apple keyboard in the middle of me typing. If the first 3 would be addressed I would give a better rating.

10/10 I absolutely enjoy this app. It has such a clean and simple design. It's super easy to organize all of your lists and notes together. The color coding option is great for categorizing and prioritizing what you've got to do; the pinning options also helps sort out what's important and or urgent for you. Super duper easy to post, share, and even add photos to notes or lists. This app helps me a great deal and it's the best one I've found so far to organize all of my lists. It's definitely worth the download.
Needs the ability to adjust font size
by SteveW123!!! on 2019/04/12 10:33
Google keep is probably the app I use more than any other. I love it. However, I got a new iPhone XR, coming from an LG V20, and the font size in Google Keep is way too small. I tried adjusting the accessibility settings of the phone and it made no difference. It would be nice if you could adjust the font size in Google Keep or at least if it would use the accessibility settings of the phone Also, the magnifying glass feature of the iPhone doesn’t work in it. The magnifying glass comes up but it’s empty.
Links Need Retooling
by GraysonAtUA on 2018/06/17 23:13
Great app — keeps me on task well over time. But I remember a time when pasting links onto notes turned the note into a more detailed, with picture, entry. On iOS, as well as desktop, links posted now remain bare without the rich view. I’ve noticed for some reason on iOS, the links are impossible to click. I end up having to copy and paste the link, which is a huge hindrance for a productivity and ideas app. But overall, phenomenal app, don’t know where I’d be without it.
Useful, Labelling with hashtags
by NidhiGoenka on 2018/11/20 17:55
Love the app. I’m not much of a list maker but the occasional ones are made on this app. What I do use it for is to make notes. With so many scattered thoughts, writing notes with labels (hashtags make the process so much quicker) makes them organized. On my phone AND in my head. Only thing I want, the latest update removed the colors. Please put the colors back. It was the heart of the app. The colors can be according to labels or lack of one or optional. But give the option. It was one of the main reasons I downloaded this app over others.
Please fix it!
by frozenangel19 on 2018/11/05 17:14
I love the concept of this app and how it is supposed to work, my problem is that it isn’t working! When I first downloaded it, it was perfect. Then, a few days ago, it started to refuse to load notes/lists when I clicked on them. I could tap on one a dozen times, sometimes it would open after two or three, sometimes it wouldn’t open at all. Then, this morning, my to do list has been “refreshing” (moving the tasks around) every few seconds. It’s impossible for me to find the tasks I was looking for, or check off the ones I’ve managed to complete. Google, PLEASE, fix the bugs in this app. Something is causing these issues, there has to be a way to get rid of them.
Latest update has degraded app once again... Best functionality is removed
by Stephlmur on 2018/11/03 13:22
An app that used to be a five-star is now almost useless. I have a lot of the notes, but now I cannot even move them around the screen to arrange them for priority. They also changed to a smaller, harder to read font that you cannot change. If I wanted to type into the search feature to look up something, I would use a database and not a sticky note type application. Can you imagine how useful physical sticky notes permanently glued to your desk that you could never move would be? That is how they have downgraded this app. I will go back to using another listing app I where I can actually list things the way I want.
Great and yet simple
by HrSteve on 2019/04/15 13:42
Its a great app to keep things organized and at your sight the search feature work nice and you can manage your notes by labels. I know folders are great but its a way too . In fact i panocked before using cuz there is no folder but right now after a few days im just okay with labels . But the thing im missing as an iphone user , is per note locking feature that notes app by apple has . So i think it will be great if it will added to the package ! Thanks again
Voice record/dictation simply doesn’t work
by Neopound on 2018/12/07 13:03
If dictation worked this app could change my life. But I still find myself returning to Evernote to record even just brief audio notes. I'll be driving or in the middle of something and just want to capture some short thought and Keep will bail on me after like a second, 3 seconds, 6 seconds, randomly, and mid-word. Why not let it record and dictate for as long as you need until you tell it to stop? Or, if that would create a file size problem, at least set a greater audio sensitivity, or a minimum record time. Choose whichever solution you like—as is it simply does not work.
Used to be amazing!
by Jjkhdu on 2018/11/05 20:09
I have LOVED this app for keeping track of all of my lists, especially my grocery list. I love that my husband can be synced to the list as well so whoever is at the store can have access to our grocery list, as the other one of us is at home adding last minute items. BUT! Since the newest update, I am having the most difficult time getting the app to work properly. The app keeps crashing, my items on my list keep jumping around, making it impossible to check off the right item, and the lists aren’t opening the first time I click on them. It takes several times to get them to open, and once it is opened, the app crashes. The app is now unusable.
Apple Notes is still better
by BigGoals on 2017/11/21 02:44
No way to underline, bold, or use italics on fonts. Also, if you want to add a checklist to a note it makes the entire note a checklist. I also cannot get it to work using spotlight search. I also find it odd you cannot add files to notes, such as a PDF Pluses it works with Google search, I love the labels you can add to your notes, and the archive feature. If you took Apple Notes and Google Keep and added them together the result would be the perfect note app. Apple Notes offers more functionality compared to Google Keep. But Google Keep has some nice features like labels (tags) that Apple Notes desperately needs.
To switch to Google notes
by Techalot on 2019/02/20 15:54
In order to have me switch to Google notes, you have to create some tool to export my Apple notes standard notes and cloud notes. That’s one deliverable. The second deliverable is having a scanner that automatically frames than the picture or documents in stores those for you and make that a seamless process. Without the scanner feature, I cannot use the Google Notes application. The apple notes are not very friendly to be able to edit online and cumbersome and too difficult to use at all and it’s not integrated with the rest of my Google tools.. email, calendar...
Helps calm my nerves!
by Envymetoo on 2017/10/02 22:38
I use this app for digital mind mapping. I have, floating in my head at anytime, to do’s for work, hobbies, goals and home. Anytime I start to feel like losing track I get super anxious. I love this app because I can create a list for everything and see them all at one time. I also like that I can add photos to pretty things up even more. It’s so assuring to open it and see my minds clutter well organized. Another well thought out product from Google! Kudos!
Great for Lists but not for notes on iOS
by Mito Cringo on 2017/09/28 18:24
The app is overall very good. Creating lists and checklists is fast and fluid. However, writing normal notes is cumbersome. For some reason in the iOS version, you have to click and hold to move your cursor around in a normal note, instead of being able to just click and have the cursor move there immediately. It’s rather odd to have to hold a couple seconds each time you want to move the cursor. It is slow and not conducive to editing notes, so I really hope this is fixed in the near future.
Unsure why they don’t fix it
by LilacBloom on 2018/11/03 14:04
This used to be a fantastically helpful app. It is had the same glitch forever, and I don’t know why they’re not fixing it. The app continually demands that I “refresh” it, and I mean, on the order of constantly. A refresh takes it out of commission for as many as 15 or 20 minutes, and the refresh reminder is right back on the screen within hours. The reminder itself blocks part of the screen so you can’t work effectively until you cave. What is this refresh why is it even necessary? When I hit refresh, absolutely nothing has changed in the app once it’s done.

Very sad.

I’ve been using Keep for some years now for both personal and professional purposes and I find to be fast, reliable, simple and easy to use.

This app is almost as useless as the Google Drive app, which is not an easy feat to accomplish.

great start but slow sync and feels unfinished
by Luhmann on 2019/08/04 05:49
Slow sync makes it hard to use.

I recommend it to many people, especially teachers.

by jerodgreen on 2019/06/27 13:47
A useful concept, a free version of Evernote that integrates well with other Google apps?!

Please fix the crashes or tell me what I’m doing wrong, because I really need this app.

by Why expired? on 2019/06/17 10:41

by Sandy seashore on 2019/06/16 21:00
i’m kinda perplexed by some of the complaints from recent reviewers. i’m low tech though & perhaps that’s to my advantage when it comes to this app because i’ve tried dozens like it over the course of my many years as an iphone haver & this app changed the game for me. i’ve had it a year or more and it’s given me exactly zero issues. it’s convenient, colorful, functional, & free. if i were you i’d download this sweet little widget wonder and if you don’t like it then delete it. i’m here to help & you are all welcome 😉

Glitches Galore
by xxshaelxx on 2019/06/04 19:51
The design and convenience of Google Keep is, without a doubt, the best on the market.

Fix Apple Watch issue
by Cah1735439 on 2019/05/20 12:53
I like the app because it supports Apple Watch, which not even Apple’s Notes app does. It’s nice to glance at my wrist to look at a shopping list or reminder and keep my phone in my pocket if I’m out and about. However, there is an issue with the Apple Watch that I am experiencing. I have deleted the note from Keep, but it still shows up on my watch. I would like it to be so that when I delete a note, it deletes on my watch also. Please fix this, as it is irritating to have many notes/lists on my watch face with such a small screen.

by bustamove2772 on 2019/05/18 23:12
I’m so tired of logging in and being told ‘refresh needed.’ Seriously it’s almost every time. And refresh takes 4-5 minutes on average, and fails almost every time. I love this app. I don’t want to migrate all of my notes away from here, but it’s pissing me off at this point that this continues to happen.

Glitches Galore
by xxshaelxx on 2019/06/04 19:51
The design and convenience of Google Keep is, without a doubt, the best on the market.
Amazing but
by The hamster ninja on 2018/04/29 07:15
I love this app it’s easy to use and Aesthetically pleasing I like how everything is in a nice neat order but I would love if I had the ability to create files for different notes for example if I had one for math notes and another for homework I need to complete I know I can put labels on things it it still all shows up under “notes” I also think it would be great to have the option to bold things or change the font and color etc. Another thing is sometimes notes stop opening but I found if you open another note and click on it agin it works or if you archive it and undo it works but that’s a lot of work and I hope that bug could be fixed
Instead they have some services that o cohost went untested thst is eating all the memory. . .
✌️
by SpicyMustardSeeds on 2018/04/19 04:17
Overall I love the functionality of the app.

If the first 3 would be addressed I would give a better rating.
highly recommend

10/10 I absolutely enjoy this app. It has such a clean and simple design. It's super easy to organize all of your lists and notes together. The color coding option is great for categorizing and prioritizing what you've got to do; the pinning options also helps sort out what's important and or urgent for you. Super duper easy to post, share, and even add photos to notes or lists. This app helps me a great deal and it's the best one I've found so far to organize all of my lists. It's definitely worth the download.
Used to love this app...
