Please add ability to apply multiple tags at once

Good update, would be nice to add multiple tags at once without the screen backing out after selecting one tag.

Life saver
by dnazzz on 2019/01/27 00:35
I cut back on my unpaid electronic record submission by 7 hours a week, this app and device (folio) have saved the day!
I’d like to suggest a feature to add.
by K Cochran on 2018/11/20 00:29
Their should be an option to go back to a previous page and add more content. I organize my notes with a different topic on each page and will add an idea to the appropriate topic page as it comes to mind. It’s current setup has got me rethinking if the bamboo slate is right for me? Aside from that everything else has been fine.

BUG
by —fragment— on 2018/07/12 06:57
When I zoom in on part of a drawing and at the same time, try to move/pan that zoomed part, back spaces will show up instead of drawings that are offscreen.
Multi select PLEASE!!
by MRIJCW on 2018/04/09 11:43
The app does what it says but is in desperate need to be modernized with some functionality. I work for a large company and this is a great idea for meeting minutes and plans but it is a huge hurdle to not be able to combine multiple pages in to one file or pdf.
Syncing Between Services
by ElementOrange on 2018/04/02 20:48
Pathetic attempt at an app that is required to use Wacom devices. At the very least, please please PLEASE provide a way to auto-sync notes with Evernote or Dropbox. The advertising makes it seem like this is easy, but you soon discover that syncing notes is a manual process. Select each note and export; oh, and the user will have to keep track of which notes have already been synced. You make great hardware, Wacom! Leave the software development to companies that know what they’re doing!
Ink to text good. Combine pages- terrible.
by WriterGuy416 on 2018/03/13 18:36
So it works with decent efficiency letting me take notes, and then capture those notes digitally, and translate those notes to text. It drops a page here or there, which can be frustrating, and the text recognition is decent but not great, but overall it does the job ok. It also can export to Evernote and OneNote and others. What would be Much smarter is if it let you export the image alongside the text into a single note - so that when you're in Evernote, correcting the 20-40% of text that it got wrong, you have the original right there. Where it fails is the "combine pages" functionality. If you take 10 pages of notes in a meeting, it would be nice to make that one note that is 10 pages long- and one export to Evernote or OneNote or whatever. Except that's not what combine pages does. It merges all pages into one note One Page Long, all on top of each other. So instead of 10 pages of notes, I have one page of gobbledygook. EDIT: it is apparently possible to go back and re "split" pages laid on top of each other accidentally. So at least the combine mess can be undone. Why on earth would ANYONE think that's the way "combine pages" would work??? Did this not go through a single user test? This might be nice for a one page note you started and then finished later. But that seems like a much weaker use case than merging multiple pages of notes into one long note. 3 stars for the core functionality working decently. Negative 2 stars for that monstrosity of a broken feature that is "combine pages". Edit: you can export multiple pages of notes as a single note to Evernote (assuming also OneNote), you just have to select them all at time of export. Again- would be much nicer to have this as One “note” in InkSpace, instead of having to piece together what goes with what by digging into each note.
Not working
by MaryAlice221 on 2018/03/10 18:01
After a long while, it finally uploaded the page, and now it is frozen in Optimizing. Frozen. I close the app and reopen. Still frozen. I am very disappointed.

Execution too poor to even bother
by mezclitaxxamanda on 2018/01/24 06:13
My boyfriend bought me the bamboo slate. I do a lot of art, lots of physical with/and digital. He was thinking I could lay out a drawing with pen using the slate's provided notepad, then edit it digitally with the app. The app was useless for anything useful. I have a paid digital art/editing app I could upload the original image to in order to do anything beyond semi-decent, but wasn't worth it... First, to clear up what many have mentioned: no, you really can't do much useful editing at all to your work once you've uploaded to the app. Second, why I don't even use the tablet and what I was leading to initially: linework uploads misaligned. I'm very careful to keep the notepaper that was provided in place while working; no matter what, linework uploads completely astray. Drawings are butchered using this app... Finally, In truth, this app and device isn't really much any better than taking a photo of handwritten notes/drawings and editing them with your basic phone photo editing features. If the linework uploaded properly, I could save the media from this app and transfer it to my digital media/art app. But it's not worth it.
PEOPLE!!!!! THIS APP IS AMAZING

Hack job and false advertising
by StarmanJude on 2017/12/29 20:04
This app is awful. Got my son the slate for Christmas with the assumption it could be colored. Didn’t say anything about a cost for that kind of thing. Actually I had to do quite a bit of digging to figure that out. Not user friendly at all. I would agree with others: avoid anything this company sells. Built with low standards and even less thought.
Won’t work
by austins20 on 2017/12/17 20:34
I open the app and have the pen in pairing mode but it always says ‘couldn’t find device’ On iPhone 6s plus
Cannot even open the app!
by &Nster on 2017/12/16 05:14
Downloaded the app and registered online (via my iPad Pro). That's as far as I get. When I open the app it wants me to connect a bluetooth device. My apple pencil is already connected to the iPad but the app doesn't find it + it wants me to hold something (a button I presume) for 6 sec. What the hell?
Doesn’t switch to fullscreen in live mode
by Tareq A. Khandaker on 2017/12/11 16:58
Not being able to switch to fullscreen in live mode totally defeated the whole reason I bought a Wacom Intuous Pro Paper Edition (Large) in the first place. It also did not switch to using the fullscreen of an external display.
MULTIPLE SELECT FOR TAGS
by Bebop123454321 on 2017/11/29 13:48
PLEASE PLEASE make an update for this app that would add ONE THING: that one could have the ability to select MULTIPLE pages within a selected tag-group of pages!!! With this, I will be able to export my pages in organized groups to my one drive waaaay faster than I would have to now. I am aware that you can select multiple pages to export when on the home screen, BUT, when viewing my home screen, I cannot always tell the difference between a page of my notes that is tagged under one thing and another page that is tagged under something else. The tag groups are sufficient enough organization for my needs, however, I need to export these pages to an app that is compatible with the Apple Watch (one drive) without having to re-organize every single page I export to my one drive one by one. PLEASE MAKE THIS SMALL ADDITION IN AN UPDATE ASAP! IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
Slightly improved
by Chase76 on 2017/11/07 16:39
Update (11/7/17) Tags are a much needed improvement and work well. I’d still like to see the ability to create separate notebooks or folders to work with the tagging in addition to a better navigation system. Scrolling through years of notes is not Greta. I’m glad to see that development is still ongoing with this product that I’ve invested $200+ in and I am hopeful of more improvements down the road. Original Review: Functionality is pretty lackluster to put it mildly.
I don’t get it..

Crash when sync with the Bamboo Slate
by Jason Suh on 2017/10/25 09:19
It crashed every single time while my bamboo slate is trying to sync with my iPhone 7. I couldn't use bamboo slate for ages. Make an alternate way to sync data of the bamboo slate. Do Not forces user to use this crappy application.

I had this app for years and loved it. Then one day it froze- wouldn't open. YEARS of notes lost and I cried! So they said redownload load it, sign in and you won't loose your notebooks again. Lies! Just lost it all again!!!! I will never use another app by this company ever again. I recommend to all to AVOID this company at all costs.
Much better and still growing

Everything works finally! Except line thicknesses...
by mr unshure on 2017/03/30 19:40
Keep in mind I'm not using the subscription, I'm only using this with my bamboo slate. Everything I write down on my slate while I'm away from my iPad gets backed up painlessly through Bluetooth, ZERO backup issues all my notes have been saved, no weird crashes or problems. The slate stays on for 15 minutes without activity just perfect for meeting and conferences. Two Major issues, Number 1. Line thickness, all line thicknesses are the same, either really thick or just thick, almost no difference, it feels like the pen sensitivity is stuck between two settings "thick" and "very thick". Number 2. Resolution appears to be 300dpi, as an artist I find this unacceptable, I'd rather pay many times more to have my lines drawn exactly as they are on my pad. What does this mean if you are taking notes? It's ok and acceptable, but for artwork it's UNACCEPTABLE. Lines drawn at an angle show up jagged, circles and arcs look jagged too. This means that even with considerable skill the line work looks like it was drawn in MS Paint. Don't get me wrong, this is really good for students and note taking, I'm keeping my slate and I LOVE this app because it JUST WORKS! But as a tool for artists this is quite limited. It needs pen line weight sensitivity and higher dpi.
Wacom has horrible customer service
by Manical1 on 2017/03/03 05:10
The Inkspace web app and the servers were down this week. No warning or notice. I had no access to the notes. Wacom' customer service was less than helpful. Great hardware, bad software, worst service...
Disappointed

Purchased the device for use with iPhone 7 and Had high hopes. The app doesn't work.
Terrible
by rez-n-8 on 2017/01/30 19:19
One of the worst apps I've ever downloaded. Complete waste of my time. Account login doesn't work. Stay away and don't waste your time or money on a Wacom Slate. UPDATE: Contacted Wacom support and was forced to submit a form. Took almost one week for Wacom to reply. The solution they recommended did not work and all it accomplished was wasting more of my time. If I could rate this app -5 stars I would - it's that bad.

Terrible.
by Dmvanask on 2017/01/24 01:53
You have to login to a Wacom account to get the handwriting recognition feature, but when you try to login, it times out. I've tried on my phone and my iPad, on wifi, on cellular, over the course of several hours and nothing. I can login to the account on my computer, so it's not an account issue, it's an app issue.
5 stars

App needs some work
by Bamboo spark user on 2016/12/14 03:04
This app has limited features. Unlike videos that Wacom shows to buyers purchasing bamboo spark, this app has no feature to highlight written text in multi colors. No feature to file the images under different topics, or tag them for easy classification. Registering for Inkspace cloud with google is not working. The page just lands up nowhere. The menu/help section shows a link to download another app called bamboo paper. Again, when u click on it, it reaches a dead link on Wacom and u get a 404 not found.

Support? Documentation?
by PinBeak on 2016/10/20 17:55
I still have high hopes for what Bamboo Spark/Inkspace can do for my note taking & organization. However, I am disappointed with the lack of response to several customer support questions. Further, the lack of documentation beyond the quick start info is frustrating. I'm willing and able to learn how to use new technology, but intuition, trial and error is an inefficient method of learning.
Can not connect to app
by ListeningFool on 2016/10/12 01:11
Every time I try to connect to the app I get a message that there is a problem try again later. I have never been able to access the program that is an important part of the Bamboo Folio. Wacom has not responded to my emails.

Why no ink to text?
by DearGodinHeaven on 2016/09/21 23:36
I paid an awful lot of money for the Bamboo Spark because it could convert my writing into text. Welp, that feature's gone -- unless you sign up for a "free" account. And the kicker is, the ink to text lite doesn't even work. So now I'm left with a very expensive notepad :-(
No customer support, Wacom ID/online utility faulty
by mr.aalvara1 on 2016/09/20 14:50
Looking forward to some serious upgrades in app features, considering the price. Competitive products are simpler, cheaper, and provide a ton more features. Pros: - ink to text is pretty accurate for me. Cons: - app does not like being in horizontal mode on my IPhone - feature rich sister app Bamboo Board, hints compatibility with iPhone, but only supports iPads, and tablets. - Price vs product, overpriced - a lot of glitches - ready to take back writing pad, product is underdeveloped - No customer support - Wacom ID is faulty, no access to advertised web utilities - waste of time and money for now
Terrible
by FrankieT on 2016/09/07 20:37
This used to work fine. I could sync to cloud and I could use ink to text. I can no longer sync even after creating my new account with Wacom Inkspace. I get a message that "there is something wrong. Try again later". And Ink to text is gone. Now you it is a Paid service. Bad bad customer service. I even called them and after an hour on hold they couldn't help either.

Needs more functionality
by Gliding shiv on 2016/08/30 15:21
I bought the bamboo spark and like it so far, but I've been disappointed with the app. It's not very functional at all. You can import your notes, draw on top of them, and that's about it. I can't find any way to organize them aside from combining them (which just overlays one page on top of another, that's it). So I just have 20 pages spewed out over my screen with no labels or anything. They talk about the bamboo paper app, but that's only available for tablets. So I can sync all my notes to my phone, but then all I can do is add them as a PDF or JPEGs to something like one note. This ends up looking far less organized than just writing them in one note in the first place though. To summarize, there's no good way to organize your notes using this product unless you have a newer iPad. In order for this app and product to be worth the money, they either need to make bamboo paper available on phones, or add some kind of functionality to better organize your notes in the bamboo spark app.
Really needs a fix
by dleopard72 on 2016/08/18 22:53
Same problem with native iOS email app and Bamboo Spark app. Wasted a couple of hours recently trying to print out a colleague's paper at a conference. Also wasted 150.00 on the spark notepad. Please fix the app interference and I will try the product again. Right now, the Bamboo Spark notebook is just expensive junk.
Conflicts with Email Attachments
by ChiAg86 on 2016/06/26 14:47
If you need to access PDF files in your Apple email, you will not be able to when Bamboo Spark is loaded on your Apple devices. Struggled with this problem for months and by process of elimination determined Bamboo Spark was the issue. Removed the App from all of my devices and the problem no longer exists.
It deserves its rating
by 2Old2CareNRmore on 2016/06/21 15:26
I used my Bamboo Spark exactly 1 time. It connected with Bluetooth and uploaded the image to Facebook just fine. Then it went to Hell in a shopping cart. It won't connect by Bluetooth and the Tablet just flashes between blue and red. No connection. The application sits and displays "Downloading 1 out of 512" and doesn't do anything. I've wasted a ton of paper and ink and nothing. A $150 paperweight.
Mail PDF Bug
by Boston Jeff on 2016/05/01 22:24
Bought the Bamboo Spark as a business tool - being able to read PDFs in an email on a mobile device is so important and is not possible while the App is installed. A must fix.
Works great! Love the spark

Worthless app and device
by Dy-Anne on 2016/03/18 08:55
I regret spending $150 on the bamboo spark. I haven't been able to sync anything from the Spark in 2 months. I've paired it over and over and nothing. Why is there no "sync now" button in the app? How else can I get my notes to the cloud? The in the cloud I don't have the functionality that was promised.
Unfair
by CA DaisyDuck on 2016/03/17 03:19
I tested this app as a notebook. Trying to figure out something that is similar to the Boogie Board using a stylus pen on iPhone. Unfortunately I have no way to access to this app because it requires you to connect with iCloud or sign up with your new account. I don't want either way! That's so unfair! So I deleted it from my app. I wish that the Bamboo Paper should be compatible for both iPad and iPhone! 😰😡☹️
Free conversion to Text
by motor2 on 2016/03/16 20:34
Mixed thoughts on app since prior it would allow one to convert the written notes imported to text when emailing them. Now when trying it simply says Operation Failed. Their website says Bamoo Spark can do this and now their free 855 support line says it is a premium feature yet nothing said about that when you install the app plus no in-app purchase for that feature which, might be a inkspace purchase on the Wacom cloud account. Still trying to sort that now presently. Text conversion was not perfect though ok before that feature stopped working.
Bad Bug

Great app for a great pen and paper
by FrankieT on 2016/02/02 21:15
I just bought the Bamboo Spark pen and accompanying paper folder. I love it. Because I rather write on paper than stylus on iPad. I have tried many many stylus'. None of them can give you the feel of the paper. I am just hoping that Wacom continue improving this app to be able to set up folders, categories, and tags.
Great for sketches and notes
by nemock on 2016/01/21 03:00
Unlike smart pens that require you to use a special pen and expensive “dot paper," this uses a pad that contains some sort of sensors that pick up your writing from a regular pattern of paper using the included pen (it’s a special pen but not smart pen). The benefit is that you can use a pen instead of a stylus for sketching or note taking, which many people find far more comfortable to use than a stylus on a touchscreen. If you prefer a stylus on a touch screen, there are apps for the iPad that do that. When you’re done with the page you hit a button and that page is saved. To continue writing, turn the page on your pad of paper and keep writing. Unlike smart pens that use dot paper, it does not appear that this can tell if you want to go back to the previous page. So once you hit the save button, that page is saved and you can’t add anything to it until you transfer the writing into the app. When you’re in range of your iPad or iPhone, you launch this app, hit the button again and all of your handwriting is transferred to the app. Once in the app you can draw on the page with the pen tool and you can erase as well. On their website I thought I saw a video where someone was using a highlighter to highlight portions of what they had written on the paper. Sadly, that cool feature is not available in this version of the app. You work with a black pen or an eraser. That’s it. The only downside to this app is the spartan feature set. I could see it being a great app for art if it was merged with some basic coloring tools and for note taking, it would benefit from color highlighting as well. Maybe that’s ok deck but for now this is a handy tool for capturing your notes, if you’re a handwriting kind of person.
I do get the point!
by zeighty2 on 2016/01/15 01:25
Working in a corporate environment I have to take notes. I am a career IT guy and I always end up back to pad and paper. It is the best medium for me. I have no less than 5 paid note taking apps and they are just too difficult I. Too many situations. The Bamboo Spark is very good tool for me and the OCR is rather amazing. It's worth every dollar.
Don't really get the point
by Live and Grow on 2016/01/05 22:58
To use this app, you have to purchase a device manufactured by Wacom that costs about $150. This device consists of a pad of regular paper and a regular ballpoint pen plus configuration that allows you to sync a drawing made (with the regular ballpoint on the regular paper) to the Bamboo Spark Web site. From there you can export your drawings to apps (like Bamboo Paper)color the drawings in the apps, export them elsewhere, email them, etc. The feature is that you get to use paper for your original drawing, which is advertised as being more natural. You can then use the setup to share your work with others. This does not particularly appeal to me. There are so many good drawing apps in the App Store, and you can use them just to share your work with everybody. I can forego the opportunity to spend $150 for the "more natural" experience of using paper. Even if I do decide to use paper, I can use the camera on my device to scan my drawings into any app that I choose.
Awaiting Handwriting Text Recognition
by Chad E Snyder on 2015/11/08 20:13
Hoping Wacom adds handwriting text recognition soon to this app and the Wacom Bamboo Spark. This would save a ton of time in not having to retype my notes. Also hope they offer Evernote integration as well. The device would be a killer for students and business alike if they added these features. Keep up the great work and hope to see these features soon.

Unfair
by CA DaisyDuck on 2016/03/17 03:19
I tested this app as a notebook. 😰😡☹️
Terrible
by rez-n-8 on 2017/01/30 19:19
One of the worst apps I've ever downloaded. If I could rate this app -5 stars I would - it's that bad.

by shmudwig on 2016/03/27 14:16
This thing is incredible. Downloads my drawings/writing so quickly and the text conversion works great. There are occasional line drops when drawing, but not enough to bother me.
Terrible.
by Dmvanask on 2017/01/24 01:53
You have to login to a Wacom account to get the handwriting recognition feature, but when you try to login, it times out. I've tried on my phone and my iPad, on wifi, on cellular, over the course of several hours and nothing. I can login to the account on my computer, so it's not an account issue, it's an app issue.

Mail PDF Bug
by Boston Jeff on 2016/05/01 22:24
Bought the Bamboo Spark as a business tool - being able to read PDFs in an email on a mobile device is so important and is not possible while the App is installed. A must fix.

Downloaded the app and registered online (via my iPad Pro). That's as far as I get. When I open the app it wants me to connect a bluetooth device. by Tareq A. Khandaker on 2017/12/11 16:58
Not being able to switch to fullscreen in live mode totally defeated the whole reason I bought a Wacom Intuous Pro Paper Edition (Large) in the first place. It also did not switch to using the fullscreen of an external display.

Try again later". And Ink to text is gone. Now you it is a Paid service. Bad bad customer service. I even called them and after an hour on hold they couldn't help either.
Maybe that’s ok deck but for now this is a handy tool for capturing your notes, if you’re a handwriting kind of person.

by MRIJCW on 2018/04/09 11:43
The app does what it says but is in desperate need to be modernized with some functionality.
Not working

After a long while, it finally uploaded the page, and now it is frozen in Optimizing. Frozen. I close the app and reopen. Still frozen. I am very disappointed.

This app is so bad, it made me write my first negative review. There is no way to login from iPhone. Forms do not work well with latest iOS.

Wacom has horrible customer service
by Manical1 on 2017/03/03 05:10

by rez-n-8 on 2017/01/30 19:19
One of the worst apps I've ever downloaded. If I could rate this app -5 stars I would - it's that bad.

by Dmvanask on 2017/01/24 01:53
You have to login to a Wacom account to get the handwriting recognition feature, but when you try to login, it times out. I've tried on my phone and my iPad, on wifi, on cellular, over the course of several hours and nothing. I can login to the account on my computer, so it's not an account issue, it's an app issue.

I can forego the opportunity to spend $150 for the "more natural" experience of using paper. Even if I do decide to use paper, I can use the camera on my device to scan my drawings into any app that I choose.
Unfair
by CA DaisyDuck on 2016/03/17 03:19
I tested this app as a notebook. 😰😡☹️
Terrible
by rez-n-8 on 2017/01/30 19:19
One of the worst apps I've ever downloaded.
Much better and still growing
by Xstout on 2017/08/04 00:27
I am still looking forward to exporting as a movie, but the iOS version is solid.
Works great! Love the spark
by shmudwig on 2016/03/27 14:16
This thing is incredible.
- Price vs product, overpriced - a lot of glitches - ready to take back writing pad, product is underdeveloped - No customer support - Wacom ID is faulty, no access to advertised web utilities - waste of time and money for now
Bamboo
by Kati_W on 2017/08/06 12:26
I had this app for years and loved it.
Mail PDF Bug
by Boston Jeff on 2016/05/01 22:24
Bought the Bamboo Spark as a business tool - being able to read PDFs in an email on a mobile device is so important and is not possible while the App is installed. A must fix.
Needs merge function.
by Kah12d on 2015/10/15 12:16
Currently forces user to compete a full page per session. Cannot power down and finish say a drawing or complete notes later unless you leave device on.
Life saver
by dnazzz on 2019/01/27 00:35
I cut back on my unpaid electronic record submission by 7 hours a week, this app and device (folio) have saved the day!
Last Crashes
by rcfuchs on 2018/10/18 19:33
The latest update crashes the app as soon as it opens. Using iPhone Xs, iOS 12.0.1. Help please!
I have a request
by Gracie likes drawing on 2019/05/09 21:48
So... I do like it and it’s cool. My mom bought this Wacom sketch pad pro for my birthday because I LOVE drawing. Buuuuutttt... can you guys PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add something so that I can color and print my drawings? Thanks!
BUG
by —fragment— on 2018/07/12 06:57
When I zoom in on part of a drawing and at the same time, try to move/pan that zoomed part, back spaces will show up instead of drawings that are offscreen.
Can not connect to app
by ListeningFool on 2016/10/12 01:11
Every time I try to connect to the app I get a message that there is a problem try again later. I have never been able to access the program that is an important part of the Bamboo Folio. Wacom has not responded to my emails.
I don’t get it..
by bakerlaker on 2017/11/05 15:16
When I went on the game and I got started I didn’t know what the turn on your device was trying to say and I didn’t even get it.....
So now I'm left with a very expensive notepad :-(
Not working
by MaryAlice221 on 2018/03/10 18:01
After a long while, it finally uploaded the page, and now it is frozen in Optimizing. Frozen. I close the app and reopen. Still frozen. I am very disappointed.
No color
by Aby her on 2018/10/07 22:08
It would be nice to have color on the app or if the app have the color feature. It all black and white.
Wacom has horrible customer service
by Manical1 on 2017/03/03 05:10
The Inkspace web app and the servers were down this week. No warning or notice. I had no access to the notes. Wacom' customer service was less than helpful. Great hardware, bad software, worst service...
5 stars
by SUPERBELTCH on 2017/01/07 22:17
Works perfectly
Couldn't even pair up my device
by Ida Icarus on 2018/07/13 21:20
When I tried to connect my intuos, it told me to "hold button for six seconds". I tried every button on my phone and my intuos, and none of them did anything.
Major flaw
by Benjamen434 on 2016/02/25 00:36
When the app is installed there is no way to open PDF attachment in the native Apple mail application. Please fix this.
Terrible
by FrankieT on 2016/09/07 20:37
This used to work fine.
Crashes before it even starts
by Il Moro di Venezia on 2018/10/20 18:29
Useless. How can I provide a proper review when it won’t even get past the launch screen before shutting down? Spoiler alert: one star.
Unable to login
by gorbett on 2017/01/26 17:33
The app is completely useless without being able to login. The Bamboo Folio is being sent back today. Hardware is good. Software is terrible.
Cannot use the program wants me to connect pen... not happening yet.
by CWFritz on 2018/10/06 21:45
Just got Bamboo 3 pen today and all programs that I have tried except for this one can connect to pen. FY I have iPad 6 (not Pro).
