No pricing until I submit my phone number

Why would I share my number with them if I don’t know how much it will cost?

Love this but mine is no longer working and I pay $2.99 a month what’s going on???
Not as promised
by Finder0522 on 2019/05/19 14:18
This app misses about 40% of calls. Half the time it won’t even open fully. It’s a great concept, only if worked all the time!
The app is nonfunctional
by Spiderman83x on 2019/05/19 06:10
At the moment the app says it failed to the phone number, despite having been working for a few months.
May 2019 Issues
by Visclaro on 2019/05/19 05:21
It’s blocking my regular calls now and fails to open without an error message.
Great when it actually works ...
by Uga24Jhawk on 2019/05/19 02:41
I’ve had to re-install this app for the third time because it has malfunctioned and ceased to work. Tempted to ask for my money back. I’ll give it one more shot.
App not opening
by iLa682 on 2019/05/19 01:04
It works but it won’t let me open the app? I e restarted my phone and everything. I have a iPhone XS MAX and I don’t know why it’s not opening🤦🏻‍♀️
Stopped working
by BarnGoddess007 on 2019/05/19 00:02
Second month in and all I get is a blue screen with no active areas on it. None of the support questions address this issue so I cancelled my subscription
So BLUE
by 311AFtw on 2019/05/18 21:45
Great app! Today All I see when I open app is a totally “ Blue screen”. App is fully paid and has worked fine till now. Cannot find info to help in support. Please advise what to do. UPDATE. 5/18/19 Still waiting for a response to the above problem. Help Center does not provide answer. How about some help as I’m paying for a service that is not working!!!
App fails after iPhone power cycle
by KrakenChurros2 on 2019/05/18 18:41
Robokiller used to work several weeks ago, now the app fails to work each time I cycle power to my iPhone. Just get the blue screen, and never-ending spinning dial. Have to completely delete and re-install app, then re-activate after EVERY power cycle. Robokiller support recommendation is to leave iPhone powered on indefinitely.... Cool concept, nice try, but sorry Robokiller, you have a glitch and don’t seem to be able to fix it, so seems like wasted money for anyone who pays for the annual subscription.
Quit working after annual subscription
by Cplpaz on 2019/05/18 18:29
I had it for a year with minor issues. I subscribed then to annual and it has quit working. Told by developer to reinstall app. I did and it only works for a day and then quits. I have to keep reinstalling every day. Developers say they forwarded this to their “engineers “. I have asked for a refund and have not heard back.
The app crashes a lot on IPhone XR
by cstiebel on 2019/05/18 17:25
The app is hilarious and useful when it works. I had problems with both my IPhone 6S and now IPhone XR in general after I downloaded the app. I stopped receiving my voicemail and customer service quickly walked me through how to fix the bug. Customer service is great. My main concern is that the app crashes on a weekly basis and I have to uninstall and reinstall it to get it to work again. My 6S was very sluggish but my XR not so much. The only way I notice the app isn’t working is when I start getting spam calls/texts again. Otherwise, when it does work, it’s useful.
No support
by chazzi90210 on 2019/05/18 17:24
After one month robo killer says failed to get accounts phone number. There is no way to fix this message. And no way to contact support. So I’m stopping my subscription and deleting the app.
Awesome
by t4we on 2019/05/18 16:46
Love it
RoboKiller
by Diva DDD on 2019/05/18 16:18
05/18/19 To who it may concern: RoboKiller blocks contact numbers instead of the spams. RoboKiller allow spam callers get through. I would recommend that you deleted app.. Sincerely, Deloris Davis
Unable to open the app
by Djfrisch on 2019/05/18 16:09
I have not been able to open the app for the last several days. I click on the app and I get a blue screen. What can I do? I just renewed my monthly subscription.
Whoops
by lyjpqci on 2019/05/18 13:27
App was fine until I got this “Whoops! Failed to get accounts phone number” dismiss box that won’t go away or allow me to access the app anymore. Unable to reach customer support online or through the app. So now stuck paying for something I can’t access or get rid of
Update bug?
by MophieLife on 2019/05/18 12:52
Somehow the last update logged me out and wont let me log back on. Prior I was appreciating using this as one of my three SPAM blocking apps.
Glitches - don’t get this!
by Dani5244 on 2019/05/18 04:02
At first it was entertaining and it seemed to be blocking spam calls but then after the trial period was over and after I paid the annual subscription, I wasn’t able to access the app. In addition, voicemails from my contacts were going to the app to which I no longer had access. I tried to get help but to no avail. I had to disable the app in order to gain access to my voicemails. Until I get this resolved, I cannot recommend this app.
Blocks calls I need!
by Dani89AK on 2019/05/18 03:16
From the doctor, from friends, CONTACTS! And every time, every way I’ve input to tell it not to, it does it again!! I’ve missed calls from insurance agents, credit report inquiries, health insurance ... all those things that to call back, I have to wait for hours! Sooooo not worth $30/year! Not worth $1/year!
Scam
by LittlevonnieV on 2019/05/18 03:00
App does not work. There’s no way to get a hold of developers. Wasted my money
Stop working
by majo 73 on 2019/05/18 02:14
When I started using this app I was amazed, it blocked all the spam calls. After a month all the spam calls just came back.
Too many spam calls slip in
by Flitzz99 on 2019/05/18 01:49
Not the best robo blocker. This app has only blocked 2% of the spam robo calls I get. It just missed 5 Spam calls this morning and then another one in the afternoon that it failed to even report. Needs way too much improvement
Keep your money
by dw212 on 2019/05/18 01:29
Doesn’t block all calls that should be and blocks calls that have been specifically marked allowed.
Keeps crashing
by CookieandBob on 2019/05/18 00:43
I want to love this app. It has great potential but it keeps crashing. I have to uninstall it and reinstall it every few days. What gives?
needed it but now it won’t load
by Scotttheflyerguy on 2019/05/18 00:28
Takes care of most spam and ad calls however many still get through so you have to report them. On another note if you have a new caller that’s not in contacts than RoboKiller most likely will pick up as spam.
iPhone Do NOT use!
by DVDCoyote on 2019/05/18 00:14
Installed this a few weeks ago and wasn’t happy as I was still getting the number of spam calls per day. Uninstalled it and it hijacked my voicemail on iPhone. Couldn’t access my voicemail through IPhone app or manually! Had to spend hour on phone with carrier on separate phone to reset my voicemail to work again! How many voicemails did I miss is the question? Finally realized it screwed up my voicemail when I had 2-3 people tell me they left a voicemail in the same day.
Was Working
by rer356 on 2019/05/17 22:57
As mentioned by another reviewer can’t get account numbers, making this app useless. Hey developer, fix this.
RoboKiller
by mr heard on 2019/05/17 22:56
This app is great! I no longer have to stop what I am doing to answer these annoying calls. Phone does not even ring and I get entertained later listening to the recordings!! Highly recommend this if you are getting frustrated by the volume of theses calls!!
Almost great
by ShadyLulu on 2019/05/17 21:48
Unfortunately the app freezes and I have to delete and redownload to get it to work. Unfortunately I won’t be renewing subscription.
It blocks some contacts
by Schafer332 on 2019/05/17 21:16
It has blocked more than one caller from my contacts.
Does work with forwarded land line numbers
by HARVARD2221222222 on 2019/05/17 20:45
This app doesn’t function as advertised. In my professional work, I have to forward 2 land lines to my iPhone to cover emergencies. After carefully following the instructions to set up my account, the spam calls continued unabated. The help function “chat” person informed me that the app does not screen land lines.
The App....
by Doesntsufferfools on 2019/05/17 20:09
..... is not exactly user-friendly. Also, if I identify a spam phone, is there a way that I may add the phone number to the RoboKiller collection?
Too aggressive
by OregonFish on 2019/05/17 18:19
Tons of telemarketing, neighbor spoofing, fake IRS/Social Security calls still getting through and yet valid calls from my banks, legit companies and doctors among others are blocked. One call they blocked from my bank ended up costing me hundreds of dollars. This app is just too expensive for me to use - and that’s above and beyond the $25 a year. The missed called from my bank instantly cost me $50 plus what will amount to hundreds more in higher interest because Bank of America was blocked. Apparently RoboKiller thinks BofA is a spam caller. I also can’t get my satellite fixed after a storm damaged the dish because RoboKiller thinks AT&T/Directv is a spam caller. Ditto with calls from my cardiologist. That’s just a handful of the legitimate calls RoboKiller blocked while allowing hundreds of spoofed and spam calls through. Good concept but doesn’t work properly.
Take robocalls offline!
by Dibarto on 2019/05/17 18:14
This app is awesome! After trying it for a month, I immediately bought the year subscription. I love listening to the recorded calls and the anguish it causes to the unwanted callers. Two thumbs up!
Okay App
by Kardorost on 2019/05/17 17:33
Pros: stop most blocked numbers Cons: I started to get new some spam calls from new prefix digits
Robokiller
by Shanera on 2019/05/17 17:21

App NOT loading
by Venusdragonfly on 2019/05/17 16:59
Since the last update, my app is not working. Only get a blue screen and program is not loading. I’ve been unable to find a way to contact customer support.
Huge eff up
by ryan_lockhart on 2019/05/17 16:53
This app works great, I’ll give it that. But I have been waiting forever for a job interview over the phone and Robokiller would not let that call through. Even after I “allowed “ the number. This app just wrecked my life. #opportunitykiller
Terrible
by Fuzziecat on 2019/05/17 16:40
Whatever happened after last update has not worked since. All I get is “Oops didn’t capture number “ . Unable to get past that. Used to be a good app, Not sure what is going on.
Worst app
by Wolf311 on 2019/05/17 16:39
This app kept blocking my business calls and sending them to the funny recordings. That’s great when it is a telemarketer, but not so funny when important people are trying to get a hold of you. Not to mention a lot of marketing calls still got through. The app does poorly at recognizing which calls to block. Wasted my money for a year subscription.
Not Working
by CookieCounter on 2019/05/17 16:20
Worked pretty good for a few weeks, but now a message pops up that says: “Whoops! Failed to get accounts phone number”. Can’t dismiss the message & don’t know how to fix as it won’t move past message. No help on their website either. 😩
Useless junk. Blocks no calls.
by incognito82 on 2019/05/17 15:49
Why did I buy this useless app? It blocks no calls. None. Zero. And I can’t get any help.
Stress relieving
by Gigiseven77 on 2019/05/17 15:23
This app is awesome! My phone has been blowing with spam calls to a ridiculous extent. This app is a game changer - blocks them all!!
Hit or miss
by rog702 on 2019/05/17 14:36
It seems to be answering actual real numbers that call me with recorded messages but misses a lot of the “scam” calls. So my hairstylist had to argue with a recording for about a minute this morning but a spoofed call got through no problem. I’m probably going to turn it off because that type of mix up seems to be happening more and more which makes the app not helpful at all.
Not worth it
by Joe 1-3-13 on 2019/05/17 14:31
This app blocks 20% of the spam calls at most
More useful WITHOUT bots.
by Dentite on 2019/05/17 14:11
I really just want the service and NOT use any bots at all. I do t want silence I don’t want a default bot. I just want it to go to voicemail. As a working professional it’s very embarrassing when a real person gets a bot answer. I’d rather it just silently go to VM.
Still get a lot of calls
by Vyolet143 on 2019/05/17 13:06
I’m not sure if it’s a glitch going on but I’ve been getting a lot of robo calls lately, that the app isn’t catching.
Whoops!!!!
by MosMoes on 2019/05/17 12:53
Keeps failing to obtain phone account information - I cannot move to additional features. I’m on my 1 week trial, prepaid for a year (it’s a good deal). I just cannot get past the locked screen expression “Whoops! Failed to get accounts phone number”! I unfortunately, am canceling my chance to enjoy this funny and interesting app.
Great at first
by Matt_Bunting on 2019/05/17 11:45
It was amazing at first. No calls at all. Now I am receiving multiple calls during the day and it doesn’t “block” the call until several rings and after I don’t answer.
Constant Problems
by LRg222 on 2019/05/17 10:38
Unfortunately, the app required a reset every day but spam calls kept coming. Customer service was very responsive but were not able to resolve the issue.
Calls have stopped
by TJ5644 on 2019/05/17 02:27
I was getting 4 called a day and so far they have stopped. That’s worth it for me
Please fix your app
by thanks4stealingmymoney on 2019/05/17 01:26
Keep getting a “ failed to get accounts phone number” with a dismiss button that does not work? No way to get on the app at all.
Love this app
by kateysblends on 2019/05/17 01:14
I love this app and that it wastes the spammers time 😂😂. I particularly find the Russian guy saying “Are you calling from The Gulag” 🤣
Paid for a year
by kimmalv on 2019/05/17 01:04
I paid for a year when I signed up. Three months ago I signed up the trial and forgot to cancel it. Pit charges my account for a year of the service. I didn’t complain because it was my mistake. Now three months later(today) I get a message that I need to pay to continue using it. I can’t find a way to contact them. Convenient. Now I am out $29.99! And no app!
Needs work
by RCJ01 on 2019/05/17 00:34
I’ve had to reinstall this app twice. Once when it fails to recognize my paid subscription and once after receiving a repeated error message sayin the app had “forgotten” my phone number. Wait for the next version. AT&T has a free app. Not as cool but it appears to work. Haven’t had to reinstall it.
Stopped Working after 3weeks
by My Ragdolls on 2019/05/17 00:01
This app worked great at first but then when I upgraded it stopped. All I get when I try to open the app is “opps! failed to get account phone number”. What? What does that even mean? It has an option to dismiss but when you tap on it nothing happens. So the search begins again for another spam blocker 😠
Not worth it.
by Mamayamaha on 2019/05/16 23:26
The app worked well the first month only. Now more and more calls are coming through. Very aggravating !
Don’t know if it works
by ebiker135 on 2019/05/16 23:05
I like the concept. Loved the recording you could direct the caller to. But currently only see a blank blue screen on the app. Guess I have to delete the app and start over.
Robo killer my number one call blocking friend
by supercraiger on 2019/05/16 22:46
Robo killer is been the best thing for me I now have freedom again on my telephone the spam scam callers have stopped I’m free thank you RoboKiller you guys are the best
Wasted $25.00 and it does not work
by Sandy9265 on 2019/05/16 22:32
Don’t waste your money. Just wait for the phone to ring don’t answer it and then block the call if they don’t leave a message. I was under the assumption that this works and I’ve had five calls come through today. Funny thing is was after the five days which was free until today was the day that I got charged and all the sudden I’m getting calls. Big-time scam and I want my money back. I’m very upset and feel I was scammed!! Apple won’t issue refund. BUYER BEWARE. Just got six calls and I am being charged....
What happened???
by Dogsrgr8t on 2019/05/16 22:24
I loved Robokiller for approx 10 months. I was never bothered by telemarketers and my husband and I always got a kick out of listening to the messages. Recently it has started blocking my husband’s number and possibly others that I don’t know about. I hope I don’t have to delete it and stop using it.
App no longer works
by Toiler on 2019/05/16 22:05
Calls ring through to my phone only for Robokiller to turn around and label them spam and say, "Call blocked". Yeah, um...not exactly, Robokiller. When you let spam calls ring through, you don't also get to take credit for blocking them. Fail. Same thing happens on my partner's phone, often enough that he has asked me to cancel our subscription. But that's not all. Robokiller claims to be able to stop neighbor spoofing. Hardly. I don't have an exact count, but I'd guess that for every one spoof it catches, some three or four very obvious neighbor spoofs get by. Weirdly, one recent spoof was only off from my number by the last two or three digits, and Robokiller didn't catch it. Not very useful. I used to be grateful for this app, but increasingly, it has become an annoyance all its own. If I have to block most of the calls myself and on top of that deal with Robokiller sending me all kinds of self-congratulatory (but false) notifications about all the messages it has blocked, what's the point of keeping it?
App Can’t go away - made me lose a job offer
by Stoned Hokage on 2019/05/16 21:57
I unsubscribed and deleted app which shows on April 26th from my devices. However today i lost a job offer because they tried to call me but THIS APP won’t go away. This app continuously answers my calls with it’s machine recording and it did this several times when I had a phone interview set up. Now I have to find another job fast and it’s not that easy in this world . I don’t have the time to buy a new iphone and now I have to struggle and pray I’m not homeless by next month
Regrets
by Kghgj on 2019/05/16 21:46
Haven’t been able to open my app for several days now, and after I started paying. Also, calls still get past the app. Stopped my subscription and finishing out the month. Was curious, after seeing all the permissions needed to stop spam texts, decided not to go that far. Not too sure about this app after seeing what it can do and needs. As to why the app won’t load on or off wifi, still a mystery.

How do I cancel this. Is not working for me
This is app is c**p
by The KOW57 on 2019/05/16 21:34
My wife and I both had to uninstall the app. Even though we both permissions one another we were always blocked. Even after cancelling the service my number is time to time blocked and I get one of the precancerous messages. It isn’t worth the money nor does it work more than 15% of the time.
Blocked my Voicemail
by Krichgirl76 on 2019/05/16 20:26
Somewhat worked but unsolicited calls still came through. It blocked everyone (including my contacts) from leaving a voicemail. Paid for a year of service and had to cancel and uninstall 2 months later. Do not recommend.

This app forward your calls and will destroy your ability to receive voicemails it also has not helped me whatsoever in receiving less Robo calls and is only made made things harder it’s horrible and I will never use it again
Works occasionally
by jae244 on 2019/05/16 17:27
The neighborhood Spam seldom works consistently, I wish I had not subscribed to this app! It’s a rip off and Customer support can’t fix anything! Don’t waste your money
Worth the Fee
by Tblovesanimals on 2019/05/16 16:43
After many months of frustration I purchased this membership after seeing it on a tech review channel. The first 5 hours 8 blocked. It is worth the fee until the government is successful at forcing the block of Robo Calls! Thank you Jesus!
Scam!?
by Chiquitable on 2019/05/16 15:26
I tried for 1 week and it worked perfect, then I bought the whole year!! I really want my money back and don't know who to contact, 1st. From 10 calls it hardly got 1 or 2, 2nd. It continuously keeps blocking me out, so I have to reboot like every week 3rd. And Finally IT JUST DOESNT WORK!!!! When I try to open the app it keep saying: “Failed to get account phone numbers”, so, I lost $30 , I just don’t understand how it has so many good reviews!! 😒

No spoof protection, no help!!!
by Imatalltexan on 2019/05/16 14:19
I still get a MINIMUM of 1 call EVERY day (often 2-3) from area code spoofed numbers. I have searched the entire app for a way to contact them directly for support but they have removed any way to access them. All they offer are useless FAQs and an even more useless robo-chat. It does block a few calls a month that are from known numbers. Big deal. Also, the answer bots they are soooo proud of are useless as well—all of the robocalls that I ever get require pressing a number to connect with a person. So these are as useless as this app.
Blank Screen
by Bagweaver on 2019/05/16 11:41
When I go into the app there is nothing on the screen other than the blue background. I have deleted and reinstalled twice. The app still functions but I would like to see the regular info on the screen. Could find nothing similar in the help questions. Would have five stars if I could see data on my screen.
Not blocker
by Bren4838 on 2019/05/16 02:47
This is not blocking +011xxxxxx numbers, 2 rings coming through constantly. Don’t bother with this product.

Good program but screen has gone blank and app is still blocking calls? Solution??
For a setup question they say wait 2 business days
by BoricZ on 2019/05/15 23:11
So much for the real human being in support. I just got the 2 days response when attempting to contact support. Worthless and not worth the money. Other services are cheaper for what these guys pretend to do. Update. Uninstalled and subscriptions cancelled before I get charge for no support and something that may not work and no recourse
Worked fantastically ... until ...
by momeees on 2019/05/15 23:04
About three months ago I noticed Cala being picked up by this app from people in my contacts. Then I started missing nearly ALL my calls. After DAYS of back and forth with support, it was determined to be an issue with the Apple CallKits interaction with Robokiller. Engineering was looking for a fix. But with all of the Apple users, how is this not a PRIORITY?? It’s unacceptable. I uninstalled the app and would no longer recommend.
Blocking numbers in my address book
by mrmike D36 on 2019/05/15 22:49
I purchased the app. Worked great for awhile. Seems after an update, was blocking everything. Blocked my wife and son, even after I give permission to allow! I had to delete. Still blocking calls!!!
Keep saying dismissed dismissed. There’s no way to fix it.
by kimann b on 2019/05/15 22:45
Blacks a lot of things I don’t want it to black and takes your messages and put some in RoboKiller. Right now I can’t even get into RoboKiller.
Terrible app
by zarchitect on 2019/05/15 22:40
Worked fine for awhile then blacklisted one of our clients without my consent. Then my voicemail stopped working so we lost a lot of potential clients who were trying to reach us. Robokiller tech support tried to fix the bug but it instead forwarded our callers to a random person who said we have the wrong number. That’s when we gave up on the app, too much risk.
Crashed
by PatSews on 2019/05/15 21:47
I paid for this app and it worked for a little bit then nothing. There is nothing but a blue screen when I open it up and calls are getting through. A waste of money.
RoboCall

Catches some spammers and phony marketing calls but, not close to 60%. Don’t think any AI will ever eliminate all spam calls. Is this one worth the price? I’m not re-newing.

Bought this app and worked great at first. Stopped working and have been unable to get it fixed. They had no issues on taking my money but have a issue returning my calls and trying to fix the app.

It doesn’t block 90% of spam calls
by chill trader on 2019/05/15 20:30
This app had 1 job, and it doesn’t do it. I guess it’s not that expensive, so it maybe is worth it if you want to block a couple calls, but it is still letting the bulk of my spam calls through.

Do Not Try This App
by Pioneer1998 on 2019/05/15 19:37
This app has never once blocked a scam call, even after I have blocked & reported numerous similar-numbers from the same location in the same day. This is after trying the app out for three months, and getting upwards of 8 or more robocalls a day. I have dealt with tech support at least twice in this same issue. While the tech support folks were very nice, they never resolved this issue. After helping me reset the app both times, they "test" it by calling my phone with their very own "scam" number. Of course that number will be blocked! It's in the system as a scam number. This app also gives you a very limited time before the charge you for a subscription, and there are no refunds that I've found. So beware.

Great app. My spam calls have decreased dramatically since I purchased this app. The calls that are blocked are sometimes recorded and are a temporary source of great entertainment to listen to. Love this app!!
Useless
by Capt kk on 2019/05/15 18:39
Didn’t work for me - I think the support guy was high. Just useless as a brick. They asked me to unload and then reload the Ap. Once again I get a message that it stopped working, when it never started. They don’t seem to care or need the business.
Rather just ignore spam calls

Not worth it. No support
by Jeold1980 on 2019/05/15 16:04
Initially it worked great. Now my phone rings constantly with robocalls. I report each one. They come through from the same number I reported days before. Tried going to the support page only to be told to go to the support page in their articles. There's no phone number or chat function. So how exactly do you get in touch with them is there's a problem???!! This WAS a great app. Not anymore.
Amazing (and amusing) results!

I use my cellphone to completely run my day to day business operations. I’m always on the go, and my work truck is my mobile command center. I have an office, but I’m only there a very small portion of the day. I make my living out in the field. That being said, I have been getting 3-5 of these spammy calls every day. Every. Single. Day. Time is money and these jerks are wasting both my valuable time, and money I could be earning. I’m not buying what they’re selling, and I have work to do. I answer every call because clients and potential clients call my phone when they need help. I need to be available to help them. It’s not only extremely helpful that this app filters out the garbage calls so I don’t have to deal with them (huge time saver), but the app also records the call and returns the favor to these idiots and wastes plenty of their time as well. It’s actually very entertaining to listen to the recordings later and realize that instead of wasting my time, they had their time wasted artfully. The ONLY way that they will stop is when they realize it is a complete waste of their time. You can ask them every day to remove your number from their list, and they never will. Instead you get auto dialed every day or several times a day and it gets very annoying. Simply put, this app is worth every penny and I highly recommend it to anyone who has been bothered with these types of calls.
Works fairly well, but calls have increased
by Sigmandis on 2019/01/04 14:55
The app works pretty well. I purchased RoboKiller after I was constantly getting two calls a day from a fake alarm company. The app instantly managed to block those calls despite the phone numbers always changing. Setting up the app was pretty easy. Although, when reporting spam calls from the recent call list on my iPhone XS I’m not able to scroll through the list of option descriptions to report to RoboKiller the type of spam call (other than the first 4 or 5 choices). What’s troubling me is the number of spam calls I’m receiving has drastically risen since I’ve installed the application. About a week after installing RoboKiller the number of spam calls I received on average went up to 4 a day and they’re more complex such as IRS spoofing calls, fake collection calls, health insurance calls, and more. I feel like signing up for this service has either added my number to a list that attracts more spam calls, or something the application does when handling these calls has spread my number to more fake calling systems. Either way, it’s now made it impossible for me to not pay for the RoboKiller service since if I stopped paying for it I’d be getting spam calls four or more times a day. The application is also not catching all of these calls with usually one of the four making it through daily. If I get any more fake calls I’ll be back to the two a day I was at before installing RoboKiller.
Great app, a few simple fixes could make it greater
by Jerryg78 on 2018/11/27 22:10
My phone got to the point where I got 15-20 calls per day of spam, scam and spoofing. I don’t need to go into detail of what they were because by now we all know them. THIS APP WORKS!!! In two weeks I’ve gotten only 3 calls that have come through. One of them was marked “unknown” and there’s nothing any app can do about that. It says it blocks a few a day but I’m sure it’s much more since many spams just hang up and don't interact with the bot. There are however two issues. The first is the default bot message. It says you are using robocall and invites the caller to leave a message if they choose. It also says the message may not be heard. First, the caller ca talk and be recorded while the bot is talking. That makes no sense. I wish it could be a customized voicemail so in those rare occasions were a legit call gets through someone can leave a real message and doesn’t need to know they’re talking to an app. This would be huge especially for someone applying to jobs if they were to miss a call from a hiring company. Also, I missed two calls from capital one and Amex. Since much of this is crowdsourced I’m wondering if people are reporting legitimate phone numbers as spam because those numbers are calling them for legitimately unpaid bills. It’s wrong for people to report numbers as spam because they want to avoid valid calls.
Actually encourages calls
by SonosBoerne on 2019/02/22 15:43
App worked well at first and was amusing. However, a fundamental flaw in the app is despite how fun it is to punish scam spam callers with the recorded messages, the fact RoboKiller technically ‘answers’ the calls to play the funny recordings in fact provides scammer robocaller software autodialer systems an indicator your number is 1) valid and 2) gets answered. This in turn makes your number get shared by these scammers and their call generation algorithms. I paid full year $29 but sadly had to cancel it. The only callers this works on are actual human dialers. I’ve reported a clear robo caller fake debt collector scammer number to RoboKiller for quite awhile and it never blocks. It gets answered by RoboKiller and I hear the robocaller message going on and on at the same time RoboKillers funny voicemail message plays. All that is doing is telling the scammer my phone number is worth calling. Just surprised RoboKiller doesn’t block it even though I’ve reported and flagged it and several other numbers for weeks. I’m going back to just using my iPhone blocking tool. I never answer calls I don’t know anyhow. RoboKiller was fun though! It just shoots itself in the foot answering the calls. Actually encourages call activity and you can read in Popular Mechanics, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal et al regarding the how robocaller software keeps calling and sharing phone numbers that get answered.
DOES NOT WORK WITH SPRINT!!!
by AlliRush13 on 2019/04/18 15:45
UPDATE — After I cancelled my subscription customer service admitted that with Sprint the app does not work. They also asked that positive reviews be posted on social media but negative reviews be emailed only to them. Um... no. People need to know that problems exist with this app. Original post: I heard about this app from and friend and was SO excited to try it out. Unfortunately, it’s been a headache for a month. All calls, including spam, are still ringing off the hook at all hours of the day. Also, my actual contacts are all being redirected to a RoboKiller voicemail instead of my personal voicemail on my phone. I have been in contact with customer service several times and they keep giving me new phone numbers to try to correctly install they app but none of them worked. Nor have they directly answered my question, “is this app supposed to filter calls so automated calls and spammers never or rarely actually ring through AND can the app allow my saved contacts and numbers I don’t have saved but are real people who need to reach me ring through and be directed to my personal voicemail if I can’t answer. I’ve been dealing with “Frank” and he seems nice but was utterly unhelpful. He did not respond to my latest inquiry. So to sum up, this app seemed like it would be just what I needed and wanted, but in the end it fell so short I would give it zero stars if I could, and it is not worth $5 to even try it out for a month.
This is awesome!

A couple weeks ago I went online to look at different Health insurance plans. My information pre-filled into the information boxes with my phone number. I was under the impression I was on my way to viewing comparisons. Second after this information what was entered, I started receiving solicitation calls from The health Registration Center. These people will drive you nuts. They called me every day, 20 times per today, sometimes minutes apart and sometimes at the same time. The first day I answered 5 or 6 times and asked them not to call me anymore. Each person I talk to said they would update their records. The calls never stopped. They would start just before 8 o’clock in the morning and go on until 8 o’clock at night. I just kept my ringer off and thought I was going to have to change my phone number. Since downloading this App I have been able to turn my ringer back on. Such a relief! My phone doesn’t even ring anymore when they call. No more voicemails from the robot named Emily or Angie. I get a notification on my screen to open and hear them talking to my answer bot (which has been quite entertaining) and get the option to continue blocking that number. This is the best App ever!
Not Able To Activate!
by KMattie P on 2019/02/24 18:44
I have been trying off & on for about 6 weeks or so to activate this app to no avail. Every time I click on the activate button, it goes through the call process then shows that it’s attempting to activate then I finally get a message that “RoboKiller couldn’t be activated at this time.” It gives you the option to try again or to get help. Well the try again just takes me through the same nowhere process and the get help option opens up a blank screen with no options for anything. So, I have to go back and click “Try Again”. There is a support option in the top right corner of the screen, and when I click on that I get another window that gives me a chat box to click on. That opens up to something that looks like it’s opening up a page then finally get the message that says “Could Not Connect - Sorry we cant connect you right now. Please try again later.” One of the notes on the bottom of the page says to “make sure WiFi is turned off when activating.” I’ve done all of these things and am still not getting connected. I got my “free” trial period and now I’m a paying customer, but am NOT getting the service I’m paying for. I am NOT satisfied and unless the people or BOTS behind this app can help me, I DO NOT recommend it. There are a lot of good reviews, but unless something changes for me, I will not change how I feel about this app. This has been more than frustrating.
Reduction in spam calls
by MLOCRGuy on 2018/08/30 20:44
I had been receiving 2-8 telemarketer or robocalls a day. The Do Not Call Registry is pretty much useless, and just trying to duck these scammers and spammers is like walking through a minefield, thanks to their ability to use “neighbor spoofing.” As careful as I had been, I had called a couple contractors and was expecting a local call - and in came a couple calls that got me on their list - and the deluge began. So I signed up for RoboKiller. It has blocked some calls, has let some pass through, and is okay... I do think there was a “magic bullet” that a caller made, and RoboKiller played the “number disconnected” recording. When that one caller heard that, it sounded like he was saying, “what? Hm, uhh...” and next thing I knew, my call volume dropped dramatically - so, to be honest, it seemed like there was a database that a bunch of scammer-spammers were sharing, and once one of them got that message, my number was removed from the database, and all the callers accessing it stopped calling. Good! But since all that, I am still receiving several calls a week that slip through, about as many as RoboKiller blocks. I don’t think it’s RoboKiller’s weakness, nearly so much as the sophistication the scammer-spammers use to spoof a number that looks legit. Still, it’s not blocking the calls, and I am exploring for a better solution.
2 Star App, NOT 5...
by TkCoSfgal on 2018/11/07 11:38
...Now that I’ve got your attention— When I first purchased this app, it worked 90% of the time, which was awesome. About 2 months ago it stopped blocking as many calls every week. More than 3/4 of them. Spam numbers that are similar to mine, which is most of them, and other numbers just started ringing straight through. I got an alert from the app stating that an extension or attachment (something on those lines) had disconnected. I took a screenshot and emailed it to Customer Service. I explained what was going on and let them know I tried to fix it with no luck. I’ve emailed 3 times, but no one will reply. Very frustrating! When I first started using the app, I had questions (and a suggestion) and wrote a couple of emails. I didn’t hear back, but didn’t think anything of it. Recently I wrote a 2 star review similar to this one. I posted it, but it’s nowhere to be found in these reviews. As for the app, seems like once they have your money— they’re finished with you. I see that I’m not alone in other reviews. READ the 1-3 star reviews! I didn’t. And if you get this app, hope that the technical gods are on your side... Because customer service won’t be.
An absolute Godsend!!

10 stars plus!! I was at my wits end! I have been receiving numerous harassing spam phone calls from thieves who identify themselves as Apple Support Services. They leave robo messages saying my account has been compromised. These calls are a scam! They have called continuously every waking hour for several days and each call is from a different number. Literally within minutes of installing this app, I got another call followed by many more. To my extreme delight, RoboKiller caught these calls! Initially I used one of the pre-set recordings that RoboKiller offers. It was hilarious listening to these idiots trying to interact with the Russian dude recording I selected. The calls were blocked, but I needed to make a recording specific to these thieves in order for them to cease calling altogether, which is what I did. I deafeningly advised them to stop calling my number, threatened a lawsuit and told them they have been reported to the FTC. I ended with a few choice words in Italian LOL. It seems this did the trick because I haven’t had a call in almost 24 hours and it has been heaven! I cannot thank RoboKiller enough for restoring my peace of mind!! Highly recommend!!
THE must have app! Totes!
by MaxxxRocket on 2018/05/19 17:20
Without a doubt, Robokiller is the most invaluable, user-friendly and entertaining app available today. I was inundated with daily calls me from companies I ordered something from a decade ago. I couldn’t block them because they always called from a different number. Now, thanks to Robokiller, not only am I not bothered by these calls, I get a taste of sweet revenge. Unsolicited calls are automatically answered by any one of the 43 (and growing) “people” you select to take the call; from someone hard of hearing to someone in the midst of a crisis. All the pre-recorded performances are spot on and truly funny. Every time a solicitor tries, hopelessly, to communicate with one of the recordings, you can play it back, save it, even share it with friends. You can also record your self answering the phone, and, after years of hearing the same sales pitch, I’ve made recordings of myself so in synch with their pitch, I can have them going in circles for five minutes and thinking they’re talking to someone. Really, I cannot say enough about this brilliantly conceived and well designed app. For all you ‘Spinal Tap’ fans (and who isn’t?) this app goes up to 11.
Works!

Crappy at&t spam spoofed numbers daily waking me up early daily. Looked for a solution and found at&t offering a paid app to stop it. Disgusting! Allow spoofed spam to harass your paying customer and charge you to block it? Shortly we are changing family and business from their crap cable that goes out several times a day and now spam calls. I decided to download RoboKiller as I could not stand it one more day. No way I could stomach paying for an AT&T extortion app. RK has blocked every daily spoofed call. No more waking me up as it does not ring at all when it is suspected spam call! Tells the caller they are being blocked and to leave a message. None do as they are spam and you can listen to them, if legit would leave a message. Then you can pick to keep blocked or allow it. Thus far RK has only blocked spam calls. I just am jealous I do not get other telemarketing spam as I would love to her the bot conversation with one as the RK live listen option of other users recordings submitted. I listened to some for a while on this app and are funny. This is a great app for a few dollars a month well worth it to block just one from waking me up! TY RoboKiller!
Needs a setting to allow us to block ALL calls if wanted...
by UtesFan on 2019/03/21 16:06
It would be Nice if there was an option to set the call blocking up to where it blocks ALL calls not in our contact list. Lately a lot of the spammers have been getting past the auto blocking from just simply putting a plus (+) sign in front of the phone number. I have literally seen where the spammer will first try and call from a spoofed neighbor number where RoboKiller blocked it, and then they immediately try again right after but just simply putting a + sign in front of that exact same phone number and it gets past the call blocking. It would just be nice if we could opt to block ALL phone numbers that are not in our contact list! It is very unfortunate that the spammers have made this one of the only options to eliminate their harassment calls. Because there are times where I legitimately get calls from unknown numbers that are important such as from my daughter when she needs to use somebody else’s phone to call me. So that is why it would be nice to continue to get instant alerts for any voicemails that are left so that we know that it may have been an important phone call. Please fix this and make it an update and then it would be a five star app!
Must Have App for Those Getting Harrassed
by BenniBee on 2017/12/11 02:04
I was getting up to twenty calls a day (from 10 different numbers, changing daily, so there was no way to block them on my phone) from scammers, telemarketers, and robocallers. I am on the National Do Not Call registry, and reported the numbers, but that just made it worse. I was dreading my phone ringing and was at my wit’s end. I had tried another app that did not work at all. But this app had really high reviews and I figured if it didn’t work the first couple of days, I’d cancel it before the free 1-week trial was over. It worked IMMEDIATELY. Since purchasing this app and service I’ve gotten, at most, two spam numbers ringing through, and I’ve gone days without any at all, which is a heck of a lot better than twenty spam calls a day. When they do ring through, all I have to do is add the number to my block list after the first call and it never rings through again. The only suggestion I’d make is to create a way to add a number to the block list as the call is ringing through. As the app is currently, I have to copy and paste the number manually into the block list. Still, though, awesome app!
On the fence
by Ledh75 on 2017/10/17 13:13
When I first downloaded this app about 2 months ago I was ecstatic! I did the week trial to make sure the app was something I wanted to pay for. This app was great and did exactly what it said it would do. I paid the yearly subscription for a product I believed did what I needed it too. And was perfect. Then the dreaded Verizon voice mail bug hit. Now, I know it was unexpected and not the fault of the app developers but I lost many voice mails. The only ones to get texted to me were from my husband. All the others just poof - disappeared. Once the fix was put in place there were many voicemails that showed up. I had 28 voice mails that were never texted to me. Some from my employer and even more from my husband which I thought were being sent by text. Now the “fix” is in place I have to go into the app to hear my voicemails, AND trust I’m getting every one. It’s frustrating that the app isn’t the same when I made the decision to pay the yearly subscription. Had I known in advance I would have done month to month and canceled. As it is I am debating deleting the app as I shouldn’t have to go into the app to hear my voice mails. And while I know they did what they could to fix it, and it’s still a great robo killer it’s just not what I paid for.
I don’t like RoboKiller
by clcmca on 2019/01/05 11:17
I need to know how to cancel my subscription or who to call. I do not want to be charged for a service that is answering important calls with the message I chose because I trusted it to work for all spam calls. Some spam calls are coming through. It does not appear to be able to always know who is spam & who is not. I see where I am supposed to be renewed April 2019 . I don’t want renewed at all. I don’t have any clear information on how to keep from being charged again. Updated: This blocked my moving company from contacting me Oct 2018, plus another business where a friend of mine works. Neither were able to contact me nor did they appreciate the message. It put stress on my move & had I not called the moving company, my move would have been cancelled that day. This caught a few spam calls, but RoboKiller really can’t tell when it is true spam or an important call much of the time. I hate the fact there is no customer service to contact by phone & you’re subscription will be automatically updated if you can’t unsubscribe or contact them to cancel it. I can’t delete it off my phone or following the instructions via computer because the program gives me messages that it did not work. I want my subscription cancelled I want this off of my phone with no error messages of how it is unable to uninstall

This app has brought back sanity into my life. After 2 months it's blocked 145 robocalls! These stupid disturbances used to annoy me throughout the day, now I look forward to logging in to the app at the end of the day to laugh at these idiots talking to robots. 😂 I turned the notifications off so my phone had gone back to only ringing when real people without an agenda call me. Im dropping one star because lately, it’s not blocking calls anymore or it will say it blocked calls when it didn’t. My phone will ring multiple times a day with the same numbers that were blocked before and after I send them to voicemail RoboKiller says “hey, we blocked a call!” Umm..no you didn’t. My settings are also set to not notify me of missed/blocked calls and lately they have been popping up on my phone. Was there a new update that messed with how perfectly this app was working before? Since this is a monthly fee app I need it to work. Please fix this so my life can go back to humming show tunes and enjoying the sound of silence. Now if only we could come up with an app for blocking calls from family members asking to borrow money, amirite? 😉
Thank you Robokiller

You have stopped almost all crazy calls to my phone number you allow me to review who is calling and what they are about before I accept or reject their calls. I appreciate you Robokiller Way more than I can ever say you have saved me from bogus calls and those I do not want to receive a call from as well 😜 you are well worth the small amount I’m charged each month to save me from unsolicited calls and messages from people I have no idea who they are or why they’re calling. Unsolicited calls Usually never leave a message and rarely can you call back and get a real person. Thank you Robokiller For all you do and a minimal price All I can say in the negative is that some of these numbers people call with are bogus Numbers and you cannot get anyone when you call them back they leave no message either I appreciate the funny voicemail greetings but I think sometimes it in Inhibits people from leaving a message and sometimes a message would be wonderful therefore I am using my own greeting and let them know If they do not leave a message they will be blocked or deleted from my phone

I love having this on my phone. However I had a hilarious message and a little naughty and I received a call from a credit union and it was blocked and they heard that. The only problem with blocking all the calls even in the neighborhood is that if I don’t know the number it blocks it and I might have missed a call from someone who I had given my phone number out to. Is there anyway of being able to see the number that’s coming in and if it has a name attached to it I could block it right at that moment and it could get a message that I have created? Otherwise this is the best thing since peanut butter and jelly sandwiches have been invented LOL. I tell everybody that they should have this on their phone!!!! The number of spam calls I have gotten has been reduced significantly!!!! Thank you for having such a wonderful system available in today’s technology where it’s bittersweet to have an iPhone. Meaning that it has a lot of pluses but there is a lot of junk that goes along with it that you don’t wanna deal with. Again thank you for offering such a great system I am a happy happy customer

I don’t normally write reviews for the apps I download, just the ones that have NO functionality without purchasing or if they have some sort of inherent flaw otherwise. I think this app could have been great. I’m just not willing to spend 30$ on something like this. IMO, it’s shady that any company doesn’t warn a consumer of their application’s complete inability to work without a payment. All I see before downloading this app (and giving out my phone number to a company I know nothing of besides what they themselves tell me) is that it has in-app purchases. Neither apple nor the company’s own advertising materials states that this app is not actually free. Indeed, when you open the application it tells you to input a phone number. This is to “confirm” your number. Only after this are you taken to a screen where you can purchase an annual plan for 30$. None of the functions work without a plan and instead of offering a “lite” version like many apps do, this just brings you straight to a subscription screen. I have now deleted this app - since I don’t have 30$ to waste on an app like this. But I wanted to warn anyone who may be considering downloading this. This application does not work AT ALL unless you give them 30$. I’m not going to comment on anything else, simply because I did not get a chance to use it.
Still needs tweaks but a heckuva lot better than nothing!

As a CEO, i started my business using my personal cellphone to conduct business. Over the years, i realized that after data breach after data breach, i shouldn't have nonchalantly given out my number freely. Up until a month ago i wanted to throw my phone against a wall as i was getting between 70-90 spam calls a day. Even from out of country codes (romania in fact)! This app has reduced my already hectic and stressed out schedule and allows me to take a breath without a ****’n robot or scammer calling my phone. They even rang two times in 5 seconds to knock it out of do not disturb. I now may have 1 to 2 stray illegit calls getting through but i prefer that to 90. Thank you robo-killer! You removed the toxic air that suffocated me and i no longer answer the phone with what sounds like the demons of heck calling out for rebuke when i get called. Also i started noticing my balding hair spot growing back. Coincidence? Im only 33. No baldness genes run in my family and even though gray hair does, i only saw one and no more after robokiller. Totally worth it!
Ineffective

I really wanted this app to work for me. I get up to a dozen automated calls everyday, so when I came across RoboKiller and I read all these amazing reviews (which after trying the product I'm really wondering if they weren't mostly written by the company themselves trying to get people to use their crappy app) I thought my life was about to change. It did say that Robokiller learns over time, so I didn't expect it to block every spam call right from the get go. But after several months now of paying for a subscription, well over half of my spam calls still come through! I rarely answer the calls anymore because usually it's just a machine, so you can't even get the satisfaction of bullying the jerk on the other end of the line (another reason this app isn't that 'funny' to me like it's intended to be; you can't really prank a machine with a stupid answering machine). I notice that many of the unknown calls that still come through will pop up in the RoboKiller notifications after I let the phone stop ringing like they're taking credit for a call they didn't even block! Try the free trial if you want, but don't be dumb like me and pay months for a subscription that feels more like a scam than a service intended to block scams.
Blocked only 2/14 numbers in first week
by millennialluddite on 2017/12/12 17:21
I downloaded this app because daily spam was ruining my life. The reviews were promising, but so far it doesn't seem to work at all. During the week long free trial, only 2 calls were blocked while I had to add 11 numbers to the blocked list! Then there was an unknown caller that I couldn't add to the block list at all! I have an iPhone, so I can't block unknown callers in my settings (Even my old windows phone could at least do that. One of infinite reasons not to buy an iPhone!!!!!) so I was really hoping this app would help. Update: since I thought adding all those numbers to the blocked list may improve the app, I kept the app past the free trial to see the results. . . The only call blocked so far was one I needed to hear from Verizon, while I'm still bombarded by Student loan forgiveness scammers daily. Ugh! Update 2: still have several unwanted calls a day. I'll get an unwanted call that has made it past RoboKiller and ignore or dismiss the call until I get the chance to manually add it to Robo's block list, but the app still sends me a notification claiming it blocked the call for me. Not true. The phone rang and I declined the call myself without your help. This kept happening from the same few numbers so I manually added them to the list and still the calls came through.
Hello Everyone.

I have been in this world for a long time and have loved every minute. Some minutes better than others but as a whole, everything has been great. I have A magnificent family and a few great friends. As The world turns and changes there are a few little things that irritate me to no end..One is the unwarranted unwanted unchanged and most annoying thing in my world. THE PRANK CALL, THE NOTHING CALL, THE CALL THAT INTERUPTS MY DAY TO OFFER ME THINGS, PLACES, and ADVERTISEMENTS I didn't want or ever inquired or even thought about, EVER. How many times have you almost broken your body by running for the ringing phone only to find out it was one of THOSE calls. There is no way to stop them or hurt them. This Robo is the closest thing we have to killing these messages. Bless the wierd little mind that thought this up. My toxic calls have been cut by 80%. Total relief is on it's way. God bless all of you with the od enough mind to thinking these genius lines. I will be and am forever grateful. Thanks again my genius friends out there in cyberspace. Love to all. Mawolf, forever your friend.
Absolutely hilarious

Around the time I started using RoboKiller I got to the point where I didn’t answer phone calls form unknown caller ID’s. I definitely dodged a lot of IRS, debt, or health insurance-type spoofs, but I also missed some important calls: appointment confirmations and the like. It was frustrating and I desperately tried to find a solution to my problem. After being a subscriber for a few months I am continuously 100% satisfied with this app for two reasons: 1. It identifies caller ID’s which means even if I didn’t save my pharmacy’s or massage therapist’s number at least I will know that it’s them calling and not some fake IRS call. 2. The pre-recorded answer bots. Oh, my god. Those are absolutely hilarious. RoboKiller would answer some of the notorious fake calls and play these pre-recorded answering machines to whomever might be on the other end of the line. I would listen to these poor operators trying to make sense of the chaos and carry on with the conversation, not realizing they are talking to a scripted recording, not an actual person. So, so hilarious. And so rewarding. Oh, how the tables have turned!
Too aggressive
by VFR702 on 2019/01/03 03:18
I have had RoboKiller in the past, and it did greatly reduce the daily multitude of unwanted calls. After discontinuing it, gradually these increased again to multiple unwanted calls per day. I tried another app by my cellphone carrier, which was absolutely worthless, so I decided to reactivate RoboKiller. It immediately reduced unwanted calls, but it blocked calls that should have been allowed. One caller today that was in my call history, as I called them first, was blocked. So I unblocked them on the RoboKiller app. Next call was blocked, as well. So I added them to my contact list, and their next call was blocked, too! This is absolutely unacceptable, so I’m done with RoboKiller. I’m not fond of their cheesy AnswerBots. They are mildly entertaining and represent what I would like to say to the sleaze ball scammers who call, but the fact is that most of those calls are recordings, themselves, so there goes the entertainment value of listening to the recordings of their responses. This begs my next question, as to why the phone companies allow this crap in the first place? If the technology exists to allow phone scammers to hijack local phone numbers as if they are my neighbors, does the same technology not exist to prevent this activity in the first place? Get with it ATT, Sprint and others! Congress, Trump, DOJ???
Watch out it’s a scam! They will take your money and waste your time.

I have never experienced such disrespect. First off I couldn’t get this app to stop blocking my most important calls. And yet when I was trying to end the free trial. It didn’t work, you have to go through hoops to get this app uninstalled and call a number. Yet my money was taken out on Christmas Eve. When I couldn’t get in contact with them until after Christmas. Even apple couldn’t help me with the process. After the holidays I get wrist back. Sorry for the inconvenience and explain to me how to uninstall it and say they will give me a refund. Yet here I am Into the new year no refund. Says it only takes two days and I had to wait three days just for an answer. I try to chat through the app or contact someone and I get no where. It’s been such a headache dealing with this issue. Almost feel like I’m being robbed and played with. If I could give you no stars I would. I suggest not even trying to go with the free trial. Totally a waste of time and money. It’s a shame to be treated this way on Christmas Eve. Thanks for showing me the least amount of respect. Trust me what I’m saying don’t even bother trying to download, they just want to rob you and hide. It’s alright what goes around comes back around ♾
I expected more.

It's now been a week and I have noticed fewer calls. However, calls that may be getting blocked are not showing up in the app, so I can't really tell what it's doing (worrisome). About 50% of spam calls still get through, AND the app blocked a legitimate call that I really needed to pick up. That's a significant problem. What would be helpful: Add a toggle on the incoming call screen that allows me to flag the call as spam and automatically activate the app. I got a snippy response from a developer in which I was told that I missed the point in my original review about the answer bots (I wrote "epic fail on the answer bots. I am suspicious of all these glowing reviews as most of them sound a little silly to me.") I still maintain that they are disappointing. All the voices sound like variations on a white guy being goofy. If the bots are only supposed to waste a robocaller's time, yes, they succeed. If they are supposed to trick a robocaller into thinking they've actually hooked a live human, I don't think they go far enough. Also, why is there only one female bot out of over 20 options? And why on earth does she have to sound so fake and frivolous? ("Southern Belle"? No stereotyping there...) Really, people?! What year is this? Come *on.*
Works like Magic
by gif humpy on 2018/09/08 17:47
This is the first time I’ve actually opted to write a review because I’ve never had an app work this well. I watched a news report that mentioned robotkiller and it sounded like it should work because it makes sense. There’s a database that constantly collects spam numbers and YOU have the ability to add more numbers within the app. So the data base is constantly growing. I’m normally real skeptical when an app wants this much money but I have 3-8 spam calls everyday and the majority come on Monday and Friday. I didn’t have to do anything and ALL the calls immediately stopped. When I got the app it said that it would track calls and provided with its database it would guess which ones were fake and ask me which ones I would like to block. I’ve had to do that ONLY TWICE. It already knows all these numbers that have been calling me and already knew to block them all. I do a lot of online shopping so I’m sure my number has been passed around to everyone. So if that sounds like you I can’t advise you enough to get this.
The idea is cool but...
by Brokenone on 2019/05/14 05:46
I subscribed to this app and thought the idea was really cool since I get a lot of spam calls. After a month or two of all the callers just not falling for it I decided to cancel my account. After a few more months I realize I’m not receiving any voicemails. I know I have drs offices and insurance companies calling me because I was recently injured at work but I always let the phone numbers I don’t know go to voicemail. I’ve been getting a lot of calls lately but no voicemails. I tried to fix the voicemail settings on my phone but everything seemed alright. I googled about voicemail problems after using robokiller and found out I had to go to a website called deactivate my phone to get my voicemails re routed back to my phone. I guess robokiller routs your voicemails to their server and when you cancel your account it doesn’t automatically rout it back to your phone. When canceling I received no instructions how or that I had to do this. So now I have no access to my voicemails for the last three months which contain important information. I’m not sure that if I pay for another month of service to get on the app, if they are stored there or not. But I don’t want to give them more money to find out. This should not be legal.
Beware
by RoxiesDaddy on 2019/02/23 16:48
I had tried a few of the free spam, unwanted call apps before I purchased this one and they all SUCKED. This one gets a few of the spam calls but misses many too. But here is my issue, and a warning to everyone else. My spam/robocall/scam call had been consistent for quite a long time. One every couple of days, sometimes I would go several days with none and sometimes I might get two in one day from different numbers. But AFTER I got this app the calls started to increase. Slowly at first, but then as the weeks and months went by I’m getting more and more and the app is now only getting about 50% of them. I seriously suspect that the makers of this app are giving out my number to more people or have someone that spams/scams you themselves so you will feel like you can’t do without the app and will keep paying for it and not e just delete it. I am a Detective in law enforcement and trained in spotting patterns. Something stinks here. And I seriously expect that if you were to quit using this app they would flood you with unwanted calls to make you come back. I should have just changed my number.
INCREDIBLE
by Caleb217 on 2019/04/26 18:17
I made the fatal mistake of putting my real phone number on a form on a Facebook ad (yes I know how stupid that was). The next day, I’d received 12+ spam calls in a span of about 10 hours from people claiming to work for the government. I didn’t know what to do, but a quick Google search helped me quickly find out that this app was the solution!! Oh my goodness, I can’t praise it enough! That same night I started my free trial and the following day, robo killer blocked like 20 of around 22 or so calls I received from unwanted numbers. Amazing! I was skeptical of it before I tried it, but the product speaks for itself. It’s let a small few through still, but I simply block those myself and we’re all good. My phone doesn’t even ring when the spam comes, that’s the best part! And you can allow certain area codes so there’s no confusion. I don’t really care about the answer bots, but they are relatively amusing, and you get to hear what the spammers want from you. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!!
RoboKiller
by Barbboyd on 2018/06/05 15:13
It’s so great not having to have the calls ring and ring. Thank you. They only ring on my end until they are blocked. I will continue to block them if they can’t leave a message or at least talk some to you. Thanks again for doing a great job I don’t know how long ago I wrote the above review, but let me say it is even better than I could have imagined. Why didn’t we have this years ago Thanks RoboKiller Not being paid to say any of this. 2018 It is now 2018 and I’m still as pleased as I ever was if no more. I no longer have to say “I’m not interested” or “I don’t own that auto any longer, or “I’m 75 years old and as I’ve said before I’m not going back to college, and the best one is the one that says “this is the IRS and if we don’t received your back debt the police will be at your door in the morning to put you in jail”. I finally told them before I got RoboKiller that was ok my husband was chief of police. He isn’t but he hung up anyway. Thanks again RoboKiller You are number one in my book.

UPDATE: After a week or so of using RoboKiller I would love to give this app 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this app has saved me 8 months worth of migraines from unwanted calls from people I did not know. Now my phone doesn't ring hardly at all and I'm happy with that😄😄😄😄 the support staff is AMAZING as well!!! I also especially love the messages you can let the unwanted caller listen to, HILARIOUS 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have mine set on random!!! I have been getting 6-10 calls a day for either school loans, car warranty and my favorite FBI calling because I have not paid my back taxes and he demands my social security number to verify who I am and when I refuse he starts screaming at me and saying I know where you live. I have done everything possible to stop these calls except change my number. I was told to download ATT app but it only had 2 ⭐️⭐️ so I went with the best reviews and support so far is amazing and knowledgeable and helpful. I had a tiny issue but all good now. So have a free week to try and I'm happy so far!!!
Didn’t work with my ATT iphone, no vms!
by Reviewer778 on 2019/05/11 16:50
I have AT&T service with an iphone. I was excited to start using this app as I get spam calls/vms twice a day. As soon as I installed this app, the spam phone calls and spam voicemails stopped. Great, I thought. Nope. Two weeks go by and I realized I haven’t gotten any spam voicemails or other voicemails from other people. It wasn't until a very important and angry client emailed me asking why I wasn't returning her phone calls after she had tried to leave voicemails? This app deleted ALL my voicemails. I called AT&T, explained the problem, and they immediately asked if I was using “Robokiller” or some other anti-spam bot app on my phone. Apparently, she said this app messes with the service’s voicemails and to immediately stop and delete the app if I want to receive any voicemails. They receive tons of complaints about this a day. She had to reset my account. I hadn’t realized but I missed two weeks of clients voicemails and important doctor voicemails and even missed a last minute change of work meeting due to this app screwing up with my vms. I don’t recommend this app until they figure out the kinks. I gave 1 star as they refunded me my money and I do like the idea of the app but not it’s execution!!
It works for me.
by Sadday007 on 2018/09/04 14:55
I usually don't leave reviews... But thought I'd leave one for this app because it has given me quite a bit of peace of mind. I've been so sick of getting fake calls claiming the fbi was after me and I needed to pay them in gift cards, or whatever scam they thought up to call me about. One morning in particular I got like 10 calls one right after another and I got so aggravated I looked around at some apps to see what there was. This one had like a 7 day free trial period. I tried it and loved it. I decided to keep it because it's really super inexpensive especially compared to the peace of mind you get! If you're like me and get tons of those annoying calls, just try their free trial and go from there. It also has some pretty funny prerecordings you can use to mess with the scammers or telemarketers. I finally just ended up opting for the silent one without a prerecordings (just silence). I have mine set to send me a notification any time it blocks a call. It makes me smile everytime. Lol
Amazing AND Amusing
by AgentDanaScully on 2019/04/19 19:12
Didn’t realize that you would get little recorded bots that “answer” the phone as if they’re a real person and waste the callers time! So funny!!! On a serious note, it does work. I’ve had it for 2 days and have already gotten fewer calls. I had made the mistake of a. Looking into my healthcare options and b. Looking into tax refunds regarding use of rain buckets and solar panels...DUMB IDEA! I’ve been badgered by vendors for MONTHS as a result. This app has saved me so many interruptions in just these first few days that it’s already worth the year subscription. Look, I get it, $30 for the year SEEMS like it’s not worth it or you’ll not use it or maybe it won’t work, etc. But you get a trial month for free so, if it doesn’t work for you, just cancel the subscription and you’re done with it. Set a reminder in your calendar - it’s not that hard. Anyway, give it a try...if you do, use the little “LIVE” button in the top right corner to listen to it in action for a good laugh. 😝
Beware
by mikr134 on 2019/03/08 22:21
I wanted this app to work and have friends who have used it successfully, but upon installation it began filtering my family and friends calls (all numbers saved in my contacts). After multiple exchanges with customer service that were frustratingly unhelpful due to the initial inability to diagnose, I was instructed to call my carrier directly and give them instructions of how to change my settings on their end for this app to work. This was far beyond acceptable to require a customer to complete this, therefore I uninstalled and requested a refund. Unfortunately, it was even more frustrating dealing with Apple as they refused my refund request despite explaining the technical issues with the app’s compatibility. The request denial was instant and therefore not actually read or reviewed by a person. Apple needs to treat customers better, or the app itself needs to be able to issue a refund (which they currently aren’t able to) in the case were verifiable proof can be seen that technical issues are the cause and not human factor. So, in short, beware that if you subscribe and it presents issues, don’t delay in making customer service fix it as it seems you’re out of luck once you pay. It’s disgraceful.
As close to perfect as
by Thwarp on 2019/03/25 16:41
YOU CAN GET! Yes this means it's not perfect and I didn't expect perfect, but thanks to a huge AND GROWING database and continued reports/contributions from users it just keeps getting better. I'VE ONLY HAD THIS TWO DAYS! In that time it's blocked one spam, two neighbor spoofs and one of those two the answer bot handled it (Thank you Mr Trump). Outside of three calls nothing. Mondays are always the worst for this garbage and I usually get about 8 calls, the majority of which are neighbor spoofs (the most annoying and aggravating of all). Today I've only received two calls. I'm looking forward to seeing things after a week let alone the next 30 days. Update: it's been 8 days since installation and the calls have been reduced drastically! Since Monday is always the worst well that's the real test isn't it? No calls today. But the sms texts have picked up just a hint where I used to get none. But robo killer is on the job. I'm certain we'll get a grip on that soon enough too.
New One-ring scam help
by Paleofemme on 2019/01/13 05:22
Right after the New Year I began getting theses so-called “One-Ring” phone calls every 5-15 minutes - each call from a different spoofed number (usually with a +882 prefix) and only ringing once, then hanging up, which makes my phone almost useless. They usually call between 2 am and 8:30 am, but sometimes all thru the day, too. It has been relentless, and I got no help from my carrier. I downloaded RoboKiller because of the ability to block a range of numbers. It’s not a perfect system, and I’ve had to add 30+ range numbers, but at least cut the calls in half. I can live with what’s going on now, with Do not Disturb on at night and RoboKillers help diring the day. It would be even better if I could block all international calls, but I understand there are constraints Apple’s placed on iPhone. I also didn’t realize how many telemarketing/robo calls I was getting until this app - that’s been a bonus for signing up with Robokiller!
😂🤣I RECOMMEND IT!😂🤣ITS A 10!!!
by Crgvr68 on 2018/11/15 15:39
I heard about this APP on CBS This Morning while I was staying with my Mom in the hospital. I decided to give it a try since it was recommended on a national news program and BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!! It’s been over a month and it STILL WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!! IT DOESN’T MISS A BEAT and hasn’t affected my known callers!!! My voicemail works perfectly as well. I’ve read other reviews that stated they have issues with voicemail or they can access their voicemail at all. I’m not sure if there were bugs that were fixed since those reviews but I haven’t had those issues. In fact, I haven’t had any issues with RoboKiller. I don’t listen to the answer bots every day but instead every few days. The telemarketers get SO FRUSTRATED and I GET PAYBACK!!! Now they get a taste of what they put me through!!! It’s HILARIOUS to listen to their reactions. I would most definitely recommend RoboKiller to anyone having problems with a lot of telemarketing , spam, and/or fraudulent calls
Impressive
by Timinator117 on 2018/03/20 19:24
I have been receiving Telemarketing calls for about 6-7 years from a company in India that goes by the name U.S. Pharmacy trying to hawk what is likely counterfeit drugs for ED, I have tried countless times to get them to stop calling me but they refuse and call almost everyday 3-5 times a day. The spoof and change their caller ID. Although I usually ignore them there are times I am forced to answer the call because the number appears to be related to my business only to discover in err that it's these idiots from US Pharmacy that I have asked both nicely and not so nicely to please remove my number which they won't do, ROBO CALL KILLER has been a God Send when it came to finally finding an app that does the job identifying Robo Callers and rogue call centers and "killing" these numbers in your phone automatically with almost know. It has been very effective in weeding out spam callers and telemarketers. Read the reviews and it's pretty obvious which app is best at blocking calls.
Works Every Time
by Decaf Table on 2018/12/01 00:20
I’ve been waiting years for an app to finally block all calls that I don’t know. No more student loan and credit card companies trying to scam me into something. Before I would block every number to no avail. With RoboKiller the app intercepts callers not in my contact list and will block them from coming through. The best part, my phone isn’t receiving the call! No annoying voice mails or endless calls to swipe away on the notification tab. The app keeps a record of all calls so you can review to see if you need to let a particular number through. Honestly though i only want to talk to people on my contact list so now I know every time my phone rings it’s from someone I know! There’s also an option to filter text messages. I have chosen not to at this time as I don’t experience much spam that way but it’s nice option if needed in the future. Totally worth the money as I normally get a few spam calls a day.
Really Wanted to Like
by awhoran on 2019/03/23 02:49
I have used the app for 2 months and paid up for a 3rd month, but deactivated and deleted the app today. After a recent update my contacts were being flagged as spam by the app and my voicemail no longer went to my iPhone voicemail, but all voicemail began going to the app after the recent update. Seemed weird, but it was something I could deal with. The part I couldn’t deal with was family and colleagues were beginning to tell me they weren’t able to call me where some calls were being blocked, some were going directly to voicemail on the app and some calls were being flagged as spam where they received an app bot message. If this problem didn’t come about I would continue to use the app, but being I’ve missed I don’t even know how many calls recently I chose to deactivate and delete the app. I tried to use the support chat feature to get help, but the chat feature didn’t work. If someone from support reads this review and can assist and correct I will be reinstall and continue using the app.
Back again... not impressed
by RogerInRVA on 2018/12/07 01:21
I deleted this app from my phone a year ago because it was unreliable on Verizon. I’ve been swamped with Spam calls so thought I’d give it another try. Got my first Spam call today since I installed the app and the call was let through. I don’t expect 100% coverage, but not impressed so far. I’ll revisit my rating in a few weeks. Updating my review after another week: downgrading from 3 stars to 2 due to the fact that RoboKiller is blocking less than 50% of the Spam calls that I’ve been getting over the past two weeks. For a relatively expensive subscription service I expect it to work 80+% of the time to be considered functional. Update to my review: after another couple of weeks call blockage has increased to about 70% coverage. Some spam calls continue to slip through. In addition, I signed up for monthly subscription with 1 month free. After 3 weeks I was billed for an entire year. Kind of sleazy! So I guess I’ll be sticking with the product for a while longer since not with the effort of getting a refund and the app is providing a reasonable amount of value.
Privacy issues
by squirrels in my yard on 2017/12/05 12:20
RoboKiller works very well. But there is a serious privacy issue which I reported to them, but want to make others aware of. All of your voicemails are routed through RoboKiller. Callers are being recorded DURING THE VOICEMAIL ANNOUNCEMENT, BEFORE THE “BEEP.” So if someone is having a private conversation while waiting for the announcement to complete (and we’ve all done it since some announcements are very long) they are being recorded for you to hear. Conversely, if you call someone who uses RoboKiller, you too are being recorded before “the beep” without your knowledge. This can’t be legal. If your phone service carrier isn’t recording during the announcement, then why is RoboKiller? Don’t believe me? If you use RoboKiller, call your cell phone from another phone, when the voicemail announcement begins, start talking. Be sure to keep talking after the beep so the carriers voicemail picks up the message. Then check your voicemail through the RoboKiller app. Hopefully they will rectify this. In the meantime, be careful what you say before “the beep.” Who knows how many other apps do the same thing!
It works but for your cost of losing VM

When I first got that app my phone coverage was from T-mobile and just a few times of having to reactivating for it stop working. I switched phone plans to Sprint and that’s when this app started not working again. Spoke with customer care who did fix issue and spam calls were blocked again. But the noticed that I wasn’t getting voicemails especially when people will tell me they left me one. I even would call my voicemail and it said no voicemails. So tested it out myself and sure enough can leave a voicemail but my phone would never show up that I had one. So spoke with customer care and they had my voicemail set up with the app instead of my phone which isn’t what I would like. That’s when I got 50 voicemails pop up through the app. So was happy that I finally had my voicemails back but here comes the creepy part when I started listening to the voicemails they were actual conversations that I was having with people the only thing was you couldn’t hear my response to them just them responding to me. So all my conversations are being recorded?!?
Time Saver AND Entertaining!
by Lkayvon on 2017/09/04 20:18
I've had RoboKiller on my phone for a couple of months now, and my phone now only rings if someone I know is calling. What a difference! Calls that are unknown aren't blocked, it just doesn't ring through and gives me a minute to check out the super caller ID function (the app searches tons of info online so I have a better idea of who is trying to reach me). They can leave a message on my regular voicemail. The REAL value comes when a "known" spammer calls. I have it set up to use the answer bot function on random. The app answers the call and gives the spammers a taste of their own medicine with a prank automated message. The best part is it records the convo so I can randomly check in with the app and listen to the hilarious recordings! I've gotten some that have had me rolling on the floor in tears!! The sheer amount of time saved and classic entertainment makes this app worth all 199 pennies each month. Highly recommend!!
Great blocking but with side effects.
by thriftshop85 on 2017/10/26 11:55
So this app works wonderfully at blocking junk calls. I’ve not had any get through. My complaint is they don’t mention that it makes you run notifications so they can tell you when calls are blocked. Hell if I wanted to have to look at my phone when it buzzed me I could just ignore the call. It’s like they want to Bragg to you about it and I just want it to stop the call and I never know it happened. Next and one of my biggest complaints is that you cannot use your voicemail anymore to include the visual voicemail if you have it. From now on once this app is installed even if it’s friends or family that call there answering system takes the call and sends you a text with the voicemail. If I had know that was going to happen I probably would have never purchased this app. Just want to let everyone know because I missed that when I read the reviews and descriptions.

No pricing until I submit my phone number
by Sandie625 on 2019/05/19 18:02
Why would I share my number with them if I don’t know how much it will cost?

Do not use!!
by PrïncessKïtty1 on 2019/05/16 18:28
This app forward your calls and will destroy your ability to receive voicemails it also has not helped me whatsoever in receiving less Robo calls and is only made made things harder it’s horrible and I will never use it again
Works

by anichol2 on 2019/05/16 14:58
Great when it works, and quite funny. I still received a lot of spam calls that were not filtered out.
App stopped working
by kengrysr on 2019/05/16 14:23
When I open the app , I get “failed to get accounts phone numbers”.

Crashed

I paid for this app and it worked for a little bit then nothing. There is nothing but a blue screen when I open it up and calls are getting through. A waste of money.
