Interesting, but designers don't follow rules!
by lcilc on 2019/02/16 02:52
I'm returning with a February update-Things still haven't changed...the designers and voters are NOT following directions...what don't you understand? Please style the rooms with the required style...I cannot tell you how sick and tired I am of seeing the same black and white designs get high scores when they do not follow the rules! Please remove the black and white geometric rugs from the store and then designers will be forced to make alternate choices (I especially hate how so many use the white rug with the black circle pattern)! Voters...quit voting for the same old boring types of rooms that get high scores every single day!!! While the game is great and I look forward to the daily challenges, there seems to be a problem with players following the instructions. The same, tired boring designs constantly get the high scores... Designers: Please QUIT with the constant black & white and aqua with aloe paintings designs-you are often NOT adhering to the requirements for the room! It's not always about what you like-FOLLOW THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROOM! Please STOP with the boring black & white geometric rugs that always get 5 stars! And voters, please do not vote for the black & white designs and maybe others will begin to be rewarded fairly! I honestly wish the black and white geometric pattern rugs were just removed from inventory because that way, no one could utilize them in a design again-try something new...oh what a novel idea! It also drives me crazy when you see 2 or 3 of the same paintings placed in a room. You wouldn't see that in a real home or design (other than with wall plaques), so why are you doing it here? Use some creativity and be different-Please for the sake of the game! When required, please style the room as you are instructed! If the requirement is coastal, then style it coastal. If rustic, then style rustic, Mediterranean, modern, traditional and so on. And please use some color! Last out, I styled a beautiful MCM room and many others that received a higher score were NOT designing in the MCM style one bit. This skews the ratings and needs to be fixed. I get tired of seeing primarily black & white rooms getting the high scores, especially when they are not adhering whatsoever to the required style. By the same token, voters need to do their part as well. Please base your vote on the designers adhering to the required style and their design as a whole instead of simply voting for what you like-follow the instructions!
Super addictive but could use some updates
by Mommash12 on 2019/02/16 02:14
I love this game and have been playing for about 8 months now. I have spent a good $15-20 a month playing and have won many diamonds via the free offerwall. Some offers are awesome, others I’ve had to submit complaints about in order to get my diamonds. I think the app could be more fun if they take away the super long descriptions for each room—I never read them, only put in the requirements and then put together a room that looks balanced in color that I think looks cool. This has helped me get lots of 5-plus ratings because my rooms always look aesthetically pleasing but don’t necessarily follow the design suggestions. I just quickly noticed that top scoring rooms always are balanced in color and so I play to win rather than creating a room that fits the specified challenge. Other reviewers hate that they followed the challenge descriptions but didn’t win. To each her own! Design bundles are the only things worth purchasing. To get bundles of diamonds I prefer to use the offerwall and buy something useful to get diamonds. I tried out a new home food delivery service for 100K diamonds and that was a win-win. It definitely helps to have more diamonds to increase your chances of winning because you’ll have cuter accessories.
Truly incredible

I just love this game so much! You can do many things on it like voting and such. When my daughter asked to get this game I was uncomfortable with her face being publicized so I got it and realized that you don’t have to put a pic of your face on it. Thank you for a great game!
No support for reward failure
by review 102705 on 2019/02/15 16:26
Game is fun but they partner with Tapjoy for rewards and do not support their customers when rewards are denied even with visual proof (recommend screen shots of all reward completions until awarded). Personally did not find the amount of time trying to prove awards worth it. Recommend not playing unless you want to pay instead of using gaming awards.
Great, but why stop there?
by HoldingOut4Updates on 2019/02/14 22:14
I would really like to see kitchen and bathroom designs, could we start adding this to the game? I really enjoy playing this game, but as other reviewers have suggested, getting more for your purchase would be great. It seems that the people that do the best spend the most money, which makes this seem more like a cash grab than a game. I don't want to sell my identity to surveys just to enjoy this game to the fullest. That being said, I mainly do the daily challenge and avoid spending diamonds and still do pretty well. I highly recommend this game, it's very relaxing and creative. Thank you!
Good but frustrating.
by Mystellastarfire on 2019/02/14 20:25
I want to enjoy design, every single design project seems to have REQUIREMENTS for objects I don’t own. My objective is to earn money from designing, not lose money! When I have to spend more money on a design than I’m going to earn for doing the design then I don’t want to do it because I’ve spent more money on almost all the designs I’ve done then I’m earning for doing the job in the first place. Basically as a virtual designer this game is virtually bankrupting my virtual business. It would be fine if there were like 5 projects a day that don’t have required materials that you can EARN some money by designing with what you have or at least earn more from that project than you’re going to spend on the design. Then have more projects with more requirements that earn you more money. And so on. So basically I’m gonna be too broke to do any designs and I’ll have to delete the app because it’s just not fun anymore. And I’ve been playing for less than a day.
Disappointed and thinking of quitting
by Avairyn on 2019/02/14 18:17
This is not a good game if you continue to have problems that you avoid! Why is the video real icon not playing the daily videos? It takes me over an hour to get 15 videos to load so I can collect 300 diamonds! I am really feeling a lot of pressure to spend money but I’m in school so I don’t get a lot of cash to go buy an iTunes card. I have read the occasional review and now I am living the game experience that so many others have been complaining about. Maybe I’ll create a better game and throw you under the bus with your pathetic diamond payout. You are just like my dad, deadbeat, selfish arse holes out for yourselves and to take advantage of anyone as long as it benefits yout wallet. Sad Panda😢
Money hungry game
by VCC123454321 on 2019/02/14 16:18
I love this game so much, it’s so much fun and is so well done but everything about it tries to get you to spend money. It’s hard to make cash, and you only get 500 diamonds a day for signing in. To really carry out your design vision you need cash and diamonds and it’s hard to make enough. So what can you do, use real world money to what you need to get your inventory. But then what happens?? Items I’ve bought using REAL MONEY goes MISSING FROM MY INVENTORY! So ridiculous, if I spend real money to on this game why in the world can I not keep the inventory I’ve bought? This is REAL issue between a lot of players of this game. You buy more diamonds with real money so you can upgrade your inventory, and the game takes it away leading you to pay more again just to buy the SAME items back. And they’re way of making diamonds is ridiculous too. Download another game, start a free trial of this, download a game and get to level 20....I want to play design home, I don’t want to spend to spend time doing other things just to get diamonds to play THIS game. I love design home but it’s a headache to play. I’ll probably just delete it.
Fun but can be expensive!
by Skunk Lily on 2019/02/14 15:57
I love playing this game. There is a certain satisfaction in putting together a room, struggling to make it fit the expectations of the clients and waiting for your score. But I agree the scoring seems to favor some designs that don’t fit the wants of the client. I have had some unfinished designs that I accidentally submitted rate higher than designs I really worked on. I, also hate buying the popular $4.99 package of diamonds and cash and then have it show up as $5.33 on my credit card. Sometimes I swear I’m getting double charged, so I’ve started documenting every expenditure made. I’ve noticed some of my furniture gets dropped out of my purchases pile to the for sale pile before I’ve use it 5 times. And then my ranking.....it breaks my heart every time my score slips down. I don’t know how long I’ll keep playing but I do know I’m cutting way back on in-app purchasing.
I’ve been testing! Results!
by CrystalCafe! on 2019/02/14 14:36
I started playing this game in September of 2018 and quickly discovered every single issue that has been listed in these comments. I’ve written numerous reviews but there seems to be no fix in place or... DH makes so much money on us, the players, that they don’t care how we feel or what we think of their issues still plaguing the game. In November of 2018 I downloaded the game on my daughters iPad so I could borrow furniture from her account. After playing both accounts I noticed that she continued to get tap joy ads, while my original September account no longer received the offers. I have had to delete and reinstall my September account several times due to the ongoing issues with the game. This method has locked my September account into tap joy jail so that I no longer am able to collect diamonds for adds. 🙁 My November account, is still able to receive payouts but I no longer will download a suggested game just for a reward. Now enter account 3, my other daughters iPad. I begin playing this game account in January 2019. Testing begins! I have been systematically buying up the cheapest furniture in the game regardless of what it looks like. I designed an identical room on my November and January accounts that displayed drastically different voting scores. At first I wanted to find the algorithm that worked but after the results, it is a totally random distribution of wins. Literally! I have won the furniture piece on a dump room that is stripped down to only the requirements, and have scored less than a 4.0 on rooms where I have completed all slots for required and additional decoration in very nice, composition of color, balance and style. There is no consistency in this game other than consistently handing over money to this company with frequency. Unless you have a bottomless bank pit, prepare for a stressful ride. Sad thing is that it is a great concept but lazy and money hungry company that is hell bent on your money. The only solution to constant gameplay that I can foresee for myself, would be to only dump the daily room as low as I can to conserve on my decorator items and my cash. By doing this, I can dump a room for about $5,000 of furniture a day and still have a little cash to save up to buy an item that I really want. I stopped entering rooms because the lure of crappy prizes mixed with a broken voting system frustrate the heck out of me. I don’t care if I get a low score on a dump because I’m entering just for the entry prize of $2500, but when I go all out to create something beautiful and try for that prize furniture piece, only to receive a sub score, that just pisses the crap out of me. If DH can’t fix their issues, there is only more dissent among the masses. DH you either want to produce a quality product for your customers or you are a silver tongued snake, luring in more customers to fork over cash. If you got this far and read it all, please give a thumbs up on this review to keep it current.. to do this you need to click back to close my review, then hold your finger on the review to be rated until the thumbs pop up. Thank you for taking the time to read, I appreciate your time ❤️

1. Let the users restart the whole account and start the game from beginning...I’ve just made a new Apple ID in order to create a new account !!! *(I’m not satisfied with my current account’s design ratings and overall score + I'm struggling with low cash which prevents me from buying suitable furnitures)* 2. MUST ADD a PRICE FILTER !!! *(from low to high prices)* Whenever i wanna buy sth with a lower price, i must search among the entire category *(although i’ve used other filters but it still takes time to search for the best prices)* 3. Add some ads for winning an amount of cash after watching them !!! *(just like the ads for winning free diamonds)*
Another star dropped
by Farley213 on 2019/02/13 17:24
I’ve been playing now for a little under a year. Was so excited by a game that was right up my alley that it was the first time I spent money on in app purchases. $5 here, $5 there. But I can’t afford to keep doing that as the $5 here and there starts to add up. So I’ve been relying on the incredibly UNreliable Tapjoy program. Look, I have no problem completing an offer or a survey to grab some diamonds (the Design Home currency) but then it became a problem of completing offers and not getting rewarded. Plus, the surveys have been getting more personal and detailed and I’m uncomfortable with that. I was contacting them multiple times a week to get my due. And at first, they’d get right back, give me what was owed, boom done. But now? As of this writing I’m now owed over 30,000 so it’s kind of gotten out of hand. At first the DH customer service was helping and now I’m getting nothing but generic, robotic responses that show that they are not even reading my correspondence. What’s even more ridiculous is that I care about this. All the crap going on right now and I’m caring about a game? Ugh. I played this game to escape stress. Like everyone does with their guilty pleasures. But when the game then BECOMES stressful? It may be time to back out. The sad thing is that now it seems I can’t get ahead with the designs because it’s obvious that you have to spend money to be able to buy the items. I’ve tried to work with what I have in my inventory and since I’ve been doing that, my scores have gone down, (Just as another reviewer stated.) even if my designs are almost identical to those getting 5 stars. It’s really too bad. Originality is lost as well as following the storylines given. All 5 star winners have basically the same exact layouts using only the most recently added decor (that can cost a lot to keep in your inventory) and if you dare keep in line with the story given as you’re supposed to, or use even one item off track of others? Your score will drop dramatically. As an experiment I recently did a string of designs that I didn’t like and had nothing to do with what was asked would look like what everyone else was doing. Sure enough, my scores jumped and stayed pretty high. When I had used up all the stuff, I was back to my old inventory and 3.whatever ratings even though they were stylish, original and true to what was being asked. No one is reading the rules and unless your design looks like everyone else’s, you won’t get ahead. And although incredibly repetitive with the design formula (not every room needs two of everything, would be great for more flexibility to decide what is needed) I love the realism of the rooms and items, but unless you spend money, you’re going to have to go a few days until you can design again so that you can boost the diamond watching videos etc.
Fun to play pricey to keep up.
by 5thDoubleM on 2019/02/13 17:20
I love creating beautiful spaces and decorating, but I get discouraged when diamonds cost so much. It’s a real problem when I complete “special offers” but am not rewarded the promised amount. TapJoy compensated me a few times but has ignored repeated attempts to fix this when the diamond amount is large. Developers, Please offer a sort by shape function for tables, as well as a search function by item name. I’d like also to see complete sets of couch/loveseat or cocktail table/end tables etc. Additionally, it would be educational and helpful to offer the option to read about or watch design tips on sizing, layout, height differences in items etc.
Taking away items already purchased!!
by asia$9827 on 2019/02/13 16:15
The game itself is fun and time consuming when i need it to be. I do not like that they only give you 5 chances to use items your purchased. I always find myself having to repurchase items that were already mine and its very frustrating because it uses all my diamonds and cash! other then this i think the game is okay.
Prize
by Kerri107! on 2019/02/13 14:40
I really enjoy this game. I have spent money on this game several times to buy diamonds or decor. I do find it very offensive that they have Buddha pictures as a prize. If they are going to put religious pictures in there they should give you the opportunity to throw them away or chose which faith you choose. I am not a Buddhist and do not want to be forced to use Buddhist decor or keep it in my store. I have been playing this game for a few years now and this is the first time I have come across this. In other games you get to choose what decor you want to buy.
Please fix the hacking issue?
by Jenny6brains on 2019/02/13 13:00
It happened again an HMac in Challenge A Blushing boutique used blackening, please stop rewarding hackers. I know there use to be a way to report a broken image, but Its no longer there. I’ve been running into a lot of images where the furniture has been altered either by flipping the white to black or putting an ombre on the product. And a couple of those recently got 5.00 rating so you can clearly see what products they placed where an then confirm their in the wrong color. I remember a sofia and a noir imagination being a people who had these product customizations. Please fix the issue of cheaters being rewarded for poor sportsmanship.
Many designs won’t render
by callene33 on 2019/02/13 10:47
The app has technical bugs and many designs won’t render. These designs appear blank to voters so don’t receive votes. Reaching out to customer support yields no response. Extremely poor customer service and reliability in this app.

Smooth Design
by ChrisTin CipoLLa on 2019/02/12 22:52
easy to use, addicting and you will want to spend money on diamonds but you can earn them in the “free” section, which i do a lot! but i also happily spend a little cash too because i enjoy my designs~ love it! thanx developers 😊
If possible, developer please respond 😁
by 🌹🌸🌸🌹 on 2019/02/12 22:18
Very nice game for the most part. I wish it could be easier to get cash and gems. I usually DONT spend money on games and so I was very happy the home design was free. Almost NO adds, (which is surprising, but true) I wish that you could get your results for your designs back sooner, but I understand why it takes 1-3 days. (I’m not always very patient 😊) Also things are very expensive (fake/game money, of corse) when you buy things like couches or dining tables. At least you get 5 uses out of it, instead of 1. I also wish that once you buy an item, that you could sell it, or even rent it out! (That might be a fun twist 😋) I also think that you should not HAVE to have Facebook to barrow furniture. Other than that it is a very nice game, and the graphics are better than I could ever imagine. I would give it more like 4.5 stars but it won’t allow me to do that. 😁 I hope you try this game, I mean, it’s free! But I think you will find that you very much enjoy it! Was this review helpful to you? Then say so! Dear developer: If you are reading this: first, thank you for taking your precious time to read this, and second, if you could respond to me that would be amazing! 😁 Thank you!!
Another pay to play game.
by Becness1 on 2019/02/12 20:20
It’s addicting and then more diamond purchases are required for each design. You only get 500 diamonds a day but most paintings cost more than that. If you don’t fill in all the optional items then you don’t get a good score. So, you have to buy diamonds if you want a good score. Also, most people have no fashion sense and think black and white is best. Definitely grew up in the 80s. You can be more creative than black and white.
Love it
by tbretzer on 2019/02/12 15:46
I’m not a big game player. This I love and as I don’t have any extra $$ to spend on games, I’m using the different ways to get free diamonds. I love love love the grand rooms that are more dramatic than every day homes. Loads of fun and super addictive.
Terrible support
by Dynadogis#1 on 2019/02/12 13:16
I didn’t receive gems for a challenge and contacted their support team immediately. They didn’t respond for almost a week and by that time I wasn’t sure which challenge it was. We’ve went back and forth which has lasted over a month because they don’t respond. You get automated responses. Too many game glitches. Cool concept. Terrible support and customer service.
Not trustworthy
by Gypsy attitude on 2019/02/12 05:30
I just joined a week ago and I agree with other reviews that your prizes are gone before you have used them and they purposely try to squeeze money out of you by withholding rewards you have earned ! I enjoy it slot but am listing interest due to these factors ! I’ll try to find a similar app that is trustworthy
So much pink
by subsubbing on 2019/02/12 04:59
I’m noticing a weird voting bias towards obnoxious pink decor and find it baffling. Maybe it’s because it’s Valentine’s Day on Thursday, or maybe it’s the fact that the core demographic in this community is preteen girls? I don’t know. Otherwise fun. I wish there was more wall art available at lower levels. 3/5 stars because I’m now considering dropping out of college and spending my entire waking life watching ads in this app for 15 diamonds a pop while waiting for new challenges to open.
Money
by TexasMomTam on 2019/02/12 02:51
When you make a purchase you only get to use the item a few times then you’re forced to buy it again. You also have to meet certain criteria which forces more spending and you may not even like it. Stop taking our items and forcing criteria, Let US TRULY be designers please. Also, I don’t mind spending money on a game but this is ridiculous. Side Note: voting results takes forever.
Fun Game
by Asnia18 on 2019/02/11 15:42
This is a pretty fun game. It provides a nice little break in your day. My only gripe is the voting system. You can create a great design, but you likely won’t get a high score because the people playing & voting only seem to like monochromatic or black and white rooms. There have been countless occasions where I’ve seen poorly designed rooms or rooms that don’t follow the instruction, get a score of 5 close to 5. At any rate, it’s a cute game to play for fun, forget your score.
Hmmm...
by Bralynn Wythmore on 2019/02/11 14:32
Needs some improvement. I’m not that happy that I have limited ‘money’ on the app. I can only design 2 or 3 rooms a day which disappoints me. But a plus is that everything is realistic and stylish. I love!
Price $$$$
by StephAC0787 on 2019/02/11 10:58
I love this game. It gives me so many ideas for my own rooms at home. I just wish we had an option to shop the gems by price instead of just color requirements and so forth. I shop like that on all websites. I know this is a game, but sometimes you just don’t want to spend a bunch of money on high priced items. Please look into adding that option to the game!
Great game
by DonnaFirsty on 2019/02/11 06:18
This game is a lot of fun! There is room for improvement, of course. Its goal is definitely and obviously to make money for the game developers through In-App Purchases. As a result, you can definitely have more fun playing if you have more money to spend. But unfortunately, twenty bucks worth of diamonds doesn't go as far as you'd think. I think the app developers could make more money if they listened to user feedback, and made this more playable for people who don't have $100 a month to spend. For example, if $20 bought you a lot more, you'd make it up in volume. If you got 20 instead of 5, and could trade with others, more people would play. If you had unlimited borrowing, instead of just once every four days, more people would play... and if you could borrow accessories it would be even more fun. If you could buy accessories with cash instead of only with diamonds, more people would play. The reason people submit designs that don't follow the challenge's criteria is because they can't afford to buy diamonds. Also, a way to immediately return something you bought by accident would be helpful. I'd personally love to see drapes and throw pillows added to inventory. I really think that DH would make even more money if you could get more for your buck. They would make up in volume anything lost in other ways. Developers should think outside the box on this one! The game feels discouraging when it gets too expensive to play.

Fun but $$
by Yayax7 on 2019/02/10 21:16
Loved the game. Lots of fun but to be able to make beautiful designs you have to fork over some cash. I reached level 13 and decided that I spent enough. Then the stuff you do buy is only temporary. Not investing any more cash in this game.
Great app but one issue
by JaydaBlaze on 2019/02/10 19:30
I used to play this all the time and then stopped for a while. I recently updated the app and tried to sign in and it’s basically making me start from the beginning again. I had a large inventory and now I don’t have anything. It kind of makes me not want to play again. My sister had the same situation but she was able to start from where she left off over a year ago. Kinda bummed. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Becoming un-fun
by dabigbratt on 2019/02/10 17:18
I started playing 12/7/2018 and was immediately addicted; however, I have found that it takes days/weeks to earn enough cash and diamonds in order to purchase in-game items to use in design, so the game appears to favor those willing to spend money. Also, there is an ongoing image glitch the developers do not seem to care enough to fix! The developers’ response to reviews is to request that the person contact them directly; this has been going on for months and the issues described in the reviews still exist, leading one to believe that the developers don’t listen. I do not recommend this game at all. Save your time and money.
A few changes would make this perfect.
by littlewebbems on 2019/02/10 14:44
I love this game. But I’ve also spent WAY too much on this. Yeah, I get that the App needs a way to make money. But come on. Things that would make this perfect? 1) give us a little more diamonds for the daily reward. 2) it would be kinda AWESOME if you could trade back what inventory you DONT use or want for cash or diamonds. I understand that you get five pieces of whatever you purchase for one price. But it would be AWESOME to trade back what you don’t use or want for the difference in diamonds or cash. I don’t want to have to buy another set of five of the same thing just to make a complete set for the challenges. 3) it would be nice to get a little more for a 5.00 design. We work hard for that. And what we get for 5.00’s is kind of cheap. Other than that. I love this game.
Fun but needs tweaks
by Blackavar015 on 2019/02/10 11:43
Fun, relaxing game if you like interior design. No guilds you have to satisfy; no logging in at weird times, whether you want to or not. But I wish the game developers would listen to some of these comments and tweak the game. First, I wish they would add more wall and table art. I’ve started playing near Valentine’s Day, and my options are pink and pink. Those little accents can really drive a room, and there’s hardly anything to choose from. They also need to balance out the inventory. When I search for a white couch, there are a gajillion, many which look basically the same. But when I search for a pink rug - because pink is what I’m forced to accent with in early February - there are only 3 or 4 options, none of which are appropriate for the space I’m designing. I’m assuming this will improve once we’re past February, but giving us nothing but pink table and wall art to design with is clearly unrealistic when it’s such a dead end with real furniture design. And hot pink does not blend well. I also wish they would let us preview more than 2 unpurchased items at a time. I’m middle aged and have enough IRL to remember - if this is supposed to be relaxing, can’t you let us preview three or four items at once? Would that really kill your bottom line? I also agree with the comments that they need to do something about the star challenge criteria. Each challenge has objective and subjective criteria - if you don’t meet the objective criteria, you can’t submit your design. Fair enough. The problem is the subjective criteria, which is buried in the client description. People don’t have to follow this, can still submit, and then based on the popular vote win top scores (and vise versa). But there are still some people who will vote down a design that doesn’t meet that client description (I do this), so we’re all stuck not knowing whether to follow those client desires. That’s not fun. Either stop adding that superfluous language, take it more seriously by reposting it in the voting screen, or do some other fix so that is not so frustrating. Please. =) Finally, I agree that the rewards should be higher. I understand that part of the challenge is the limited spending resources, but after awhile it’s like you’re designing the same room over and over agin because you can’t afford to buy new stuff. And I’m P2P, not F2P. You also have to limit your play because there’s only so much you can do each day with the cash/diamonds that you have. Games that have such a starkly limited game play don’t tend to keep players very long (because we will go play a game that is more immersive). You need to create a world that we get lost in and don’t want to leave. I wouldn’t bother writing all this out if I didn’t think this is a fun game with a lot of promise. =)
Diamonds and cash
by 123456k$ on 2019/02/10 05:38
I really enjoyed playing this game. However, I feel that we should be able to purchase with cash money as well as diamonds. It’s not fair that we can only purchase furniture with the cash but we can’t purchase home Decor. Because of this i do not play the game as much as I would like because I hardly ever have any diamonds to purchase home
Fun but could be improved
by dannyboy5720 on 2019/02/09 22:43
This game is so fun! It occupies too much of my time. I really enjoy how the furniture that you purchase is actual furniture that you come by online and in stores. I think it’s also fun that they’re showcasing name brands that many people can buy online like West Elm. There is not room for muck flexibility. I like having requirements but I don’t understand why you can’t choose to place a chest instead of a side table, console table, side chair... etc. also placement of rugs furniture etc. I also don’t understand why the furniture is full price and we are only getting $500 for a design job. If you think about how much professional designers and interior decorators get for a job it’s usually by percentage. That would make their commission a lot higher than $500 and one 2,500 per day. I mean we aren’t buying everything from ikea, there’s many items on her for 10k, which is normal, but 500 is what most designers would make in one day of just “advising.”
money scam
by 715! on 2019/02/09 16:20
I used to really enjoy this game however, they recently added floor items (which cost diamonds) in addition to the wall art, plants and table art already costing diamonds. The problem is there is no way to earn diamonds except buying them. (using real money) Everyday design home gifts you with 500 diamonds in your inbox, however this is barely enough for the cheapest painting. Your room is voted on and if you don’t add wall art/floor items/table art/plants the room looks empty and your score remains low meaning you do not receive the prize diamonds or win more furniture. Overall, it’s become almost impossible to even decorate a room if you don’t want to spend money. I’m highly disappointed as I used to love this game, but I will be deleting it considering it’s not fun having no furniture to decorate!
Love it but
by Hdbcjeneg on 2019/02/09 16:13
I’m not trying to be mean but you need to think more. I mean it looked fun and the reviews where overflowing with happiness but when I tried it I didn’t like it that much. 😞 things you can do to make it a better game: everything free, have your own house 🏡, make a husband , have kids ,go to the park, go to resterants , go get new clothes. I know I know that would be more of a family game but hey you should make that game then you would be famous and that would be my favorite game! I’m just saying , bye 👋
WHERE ARE THE ITEMS I JUST BOUGHT?
by NikkiTthatsme on 2019/02/09 13:10
I just bought a rug and sofa and they are nowhere to be found. Their special items that you have to purchase with diamonds in order to get five stars to purchase more items is a hoax. If you want to gets five stars you better purchase their special stuff with real money otherwise you don’t get squat!
Good game however hard to get diamonds😳
by Kelly1720 on 2019/02/09 10:45
This game would be great if you could get diamonds easier to purchase items! Or use the game cash to buy the new event decorations. Seems they want you to spend your real money and TapJoy is a joke to earn diamonds! Most the time the apps don’t open or your not even gifted for doing the task or like me I signed up for something and was charged that I didn’t even know I subscribed to😳 It’s ok game but getting boring with not moving up quicker and I’m not spending real cash to decorate in a game when I can decorate my own house for less😊
I love this game! But would like to see more!
by Nan Miura on 2019/02/09 07:53
I love this game, but would like to see more! I think it would be more fun to design the entire house, apartment, condo, mansion, cabin, hotel, whatever it may be. Obviously with designing the entire building, it would require more rewards for the completion. As others have said before, sometimes I see that I have some missing items from my inventory. Such as some chairs, dining tables, or ottomans. As for the rewards, as others have said, sometimes I can’t use the item because it’s kind of out there. Or the reward item doesn’t fit the criteria of other design challenges. I’d like to see the prices of items go down or to be able to purchase the same item for more quantity at the same price it’s listed at for five items. Otherwise, I was extremely excited for this game! I have been playing faithfully for almost two years now. I plan on becoming an interior designer, and this is great practice before I take the plunge in accomplishing my dreams!
I wish this would stop crashing
by Stacked Heels on 2019/02/09 07:11
This is a fun game to play but it’s become hopeless. Awesome rooms don’t win and awful rooms do. The game constantly crashes and makes you start all over, and just when you get it almost complete a 2nd time, it crashes again. I’m about done playing this until these things are addressed.

Poorly Designed and Deleting it
by HensByTheSea on 2019/02/09 03:09
I do liked this game when I first started playing but after a month, I’m so over the “games” played with my inventory. My prizes and purchases disappear before they are used up. They call them a Purchase but in reality, you attain 5 of eCh item, so it’s actually more like Rental Furniture 😬🤔😢. The other thing is the reward system is small; at least give a carrot for hard work 🤔 nope, you get a few bits and only can play with the small daily reward - unless you send them money and they aren’t getting my hard earned dollars if they can’t even GIvE me the item to keep in my inventory forever. Don’t let them Make fools of you either. Going back to my drawing by hand; the app is worthless
Let Us Have the Furniture Forever!
by Here's something to improve. on 2019/02/08 23:50
I really like Design Home, but it is really frustrating when you cam only use a piece of furniture 5 times. Let’s say I bought something for $50,000. If I need it more than 5 times, I have to buy it again. I mean, what’s up with that? If we could have the furniture forever, I would give this app 5 stars. But, the fact that I have to worry about if I need to buy more of it is really annoying. Thank you for reading this. -I Am Going to Be Kept Anonymous
Fun but No Customer Service
by Stefanie233 on 2019/02/08 22:49
This can be fun game however do not expect satisfactory help for issues. You are forced to spend money, through Apple Pay, to purchase items needed to complete a challenge. I had a submission corrupted when it loaded—it turned black and had bits from other rooms on it. When I sent in a request all I received was a sorry they didn’t know what happened. I sent in 3 additional requests that they either fix the issue, return the items used to my inventory to use for another room, or reimburse me with their “diamonds” (what they use as purchase currency). They have yet to do anything except say sorry for the inconvenience! It has been five days and I am not going to spend any money on this app unless they address this issue.
No app support.
by Unsatisfied Mom! on 2019/02/08 18:48
I wanted to get some diamonds to use in the game so I bought some and they never got put into my account in the app. I tried to contact support but all I got was an automated response that I would be contacted shortly. I’ve never been contacted and I have yet to see my diamonds I paid for. Long story short, don’t buy anything in this game or even “complete tasks” or “actions” to get free stuff. It doesn’t work and it’s a waste of time.
Where’s my stuff
by Melinda Waybright on 2019/02/08 13:17
I purchased items with the money and diamonds I earned and I won prizes too! I should be able to keep those items and not have a limited use on them then they disappear!!! That is ridiculous! Please fix that so the items I purchase can be used WHENEVER I want to, I still have all my coffee tables but who knows they may disappear too!! 🤬🤬🤬
Fake
by Gibber9000 on 2019/02/08 11:12
If you don’t buy diamonds you score low.
EXPENSIVE GAME
by Bugged to bits on 2019/02/08 09:42
If you want to have any fun in this game at all be prepared to pay a whole lot of money - like $10 to $20 per week at least. This game is pretty good at allowing you to get the furniture pieces for your designs but you need to use diamonds for the “decor” element of the design and the wall decor, table decor, plants, etc. are outrageously expensive. The game considers a gem equal to a “dollar” when buying furniture or rugs but the “decor” element is just as expensive as a chair or shelf and you can only use diamonds for the “decor” plus you need a lot of “decor” in order to win the furniture prizes or it makes playing the game short lived. You can try to win diamonds by using Tapjoy but it truly is not worth your while to do so. The benefits to this game are the fact the game has really good pictures (except when it glitches and goes black) and it is really pretty. The game can be a lot of fun but becomes frustrating quickly if you are not someone with a large disposable income.
Too hard to earn diamonds
by jsmith0119 on 2019/02/08 05:42
One of my favorite games to play, but could definitely use some tweaks.... first- it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to earn diamonds (you can only buy decor/specialty items/etc) with diamonds.... I’ve completed many of the “free” options to earn diamonds (5/10 times the reward is never actually rewarded) I want to give it a 5 star but this is a big hang up in the game...
Need a better reward system
by Friend138 on 2019/02/08 05:42
I realize this is an app and there is necessary maintenance that comes with running an app, however, spending a lot of the game money to decorate a room and receiving only $500 game cash, just doesn’t add up to fun for me. The items are very expensive to purchase and you get almost nothing back for completing a challenge. Perhaps I’m missing something? I’ve only found that spending real money is the only way to get a substantial amount of game money. I can’t justify paying real money to decorate a fake room. I have a lot of fun decorating, like many others do and I’m sure many can agree with me on this... Please adjust the rewards.
Fun but expensive
by alysco2003 on 2019/02/08 02:36
I can not lie- I’m addicted to this game, but I spend a lot of money on it. The Tapjoy and Free videos to win diamonds doesn’t pay out enough. I just buy my diamonds now- Tapjoy is a joke. What would make this game better: drop the prices for items or make the diamond win totals bigger.
Great game!
by Yarbus on 2019/02/07 17:40
But...it's been very glitchy since the Last update, particularly when voting. Please fix it!
Designed for Fun!
by BLCJT on 2019/02/07 17:13
Design Home is my newest addiction - love it! My only regret is that you can't rearrange furniture. That feature would make it way over the top! I would like it better IF when a design is suggested or required it must also be judged by that design style. People get 5s for making a beautiful room, never mind that it is supposed to be "rustic", "Modern", etc. Why make a requirement if it doesn't matter?
I really enjoy this, but...
by conti1112 on 2019/02/07 00:50
Consider this review a 3.5. So, I’m not a designer by trade (I wish!) But like to think and have also been told that I have a good eye. Anyway, what frustrates me is that I read the descriptions in this game about who my client is (profession usually provided), the style they want their room to be, that they like a certain color or want splashes of color, etc. I take all of these into account when choosing items. I typically score in the 4’s, have gotten a 5 or two. When I look at the top scoring designs, it’s clear to me that their designers haven’t read a thing in the description. They use styles that the “client” did not request, and the winners typically design monochromatic grey, beige or black rooms. Ho hum. Boring. And not what was asked. I wish there were a way for the scoring to reflect this. Oh, well—it’s just a game. But I’m competitive by nature. Sue me. 😬
Scoring makes no sense
by Nataloon on 2019/02/06 19:14
I don't understand how I can be so close to a design that got a 5 and come out with a 4.05. That is a score for a design with no rug, mismatched furniture, etc... The scoring makes absolutely no sense. Also, I've noticed that a lot of people that score a 5 don't follow the story of the room. Maybe there should be more requirements to make it fair for the people that try to go along with it? I've got about a 10% five star percentage for how many designs I've designed, so I'm not terrible at this... I just don't get the scoring sometimes.
It doesn’t give you your coins

So much better than the other home design games. Addictive!!
Greatest example of why we should unite against the in-app purchase system
by Juggrnaughty on 2019/02/06 03:19
I love the idea of this game, but you cannot play it without planning to spend far more than you ever would if it were a standard video game (yes, even including the $79.99+ video games of today). UNLESS you wanna score some diamonds by providing your contact information to numerous never-heard-of-before shady affiliates in the form of "short surveys" and the like, which pretty much guarantees it's getting sold to other shadowy third-parties, yada yada yada you're drowning in spam and fake cell calls forever and ever, all for a fake sofa. You can't afford to actually style a room how you want to, plus they include requirements that guarantee you have to buy furniture you'd never actually pick if you were allowed to play how you want. AND you have to re-buy things after you've used them in five rooms, so you can't even complete challenges for much-needed cash by plopping in what you own despite how it looks (requirements prevent that too of course). I'm really fed up with this pricing structure in general, but I especially don't get it for this game (hence the review). It just feels so unnecessary considering the product. It's excellent advertisement for these retailers (I've been exposed to at least three brands I hadn't heard of), so I'm assuming the developer gets something from them to be able to use their products and link to their sites right from the game. Up what you're charging the retailers, charge upfront for the app instead of this oh it's free wink wink garbage, and severely limit in-app purchases... ridiculously big diamond packages only, $20+ for die-hard players. Would that really not cover cost and allow for profitability still? Still sounds like a money-spinner to me. Also, get rid of those shady affiliates...cause ya know, they're shady. I just want to be able to put cool housewares in different rooms, and unfortunately I haven't found any alternative to this yet.
WHY DOES THIS EXIST?!?!?!
by Bubblenot94 on 2019/02/06 02:37
I just got the app. Okay? It loaded and I tried to open it. It wouldn't even open! It's idiotic how this game even exists like this. DON'T BUY THIS APP!!! IT'S A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!!! 😡😡
Video rewards too slow
by homedesignmomof4 on 2019/02/06 01:18
I’ve played this game for a very long time and suddenly the ability to gain diamonds by watching videos has slowed dramatically. Because the artwork, plants and other extras that make the room look great are only available as overpriced diamond purchases, it has greatly decreased my enjoyment of this game. Probably time for a new game.
Program keeps quitting
by Denakbugnael on 2019/02/05 23:13
Lately I can’t seem to finish a game before the game quits and reboots. Could it be because I have decided to keep my inventory by not submitting designs? I don’t need ratings or to win five hundred dollars by spending thousands and losing inventory to have to repurchase. In addition to this when I attempted to use an item in my inventory I received an error message saying they couldn’t find it in the warehouse. LOL Really?!!
Pretty good game!
by pheobe thinderman on 2019/02/05 22:57
This game is fun, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to design houses. However, it does get kind of boring, and it crashes sometimes, but other then that, it’s pretty fun!
TOO EXPENSIVE
by Srgamer on 2019/02/05 20:58
Should be able to sort products by amount to pick cheaper ones when you don't have a lot of money for a layout. You have to spend money to get more expensive items and then those are only good for 5 uses then you have to buy again. If you buy items, have them available 20 times. The accessories like plants and pictures need money; diamonds only. I play every day but limited since I buy diamonds on a limited basis. Don't do the supposed free items to get diamonds unless you want viruses on your unit. Took a while to fix my pad.
Used to be fun
by JR5 reviews on 2019/02/05 12:56
Recently the watch videos to receive diamonds has stopped working. And at least twice I have completed two offers to receive diamonds and got 0 diamonds awarded. Diamonds are a major way to get decor and furnishings. I have all but quit playing as it’s not fun when you feel like you are getting ripped off. Fix this issue and award more diamonds!
Design home
by brendabush on 2019/02/05 12:50
I love this game! My only suggestion is maybe you could use wall art and plants as prizes because they are expensive !! Or maybe have a sale occasionally on wall art! Every day I watch videos to get extra diamonds but you can only get so many each day and one plant cost 800 or more
Contact them means nothing
by -------/-7 on 2019/02/05 11:06
If you have a problem with the game they will never respond! If you play on a phone or small screen I found it difficult to play w/o accidentally purchasing. But mostly won’t play anymore because even though they offer a “contact us” NO ONE monitors - got an auto response on a weekend and tried again on Monday- to no avail.
Horrible setup
by upset56789 on 2019/02/05 03:07
I got a new phone and tried to login to the game. It started me all over on the levels. I am very displeased. Is this a glitch? I still have the amount of diamonds and money but not the levels.
Rip Off
by SmashingSpheres on 2019/02/05 03:01
Omg, you need to make it known very clearly when one makes a “purchase” they’re really renting the item if they can only use it 5 times! I’m shocked. This was a great game, ruined by greed. Goodbye.
Fun but fraudulent
by xvfreckles on 2019/02/04 23:05
The good: this game is fun and beautiful The bad: it’s addicting and the reward system is a joke. It’s designed to make you spend more money and diamonds than you could possibly earn back. Also the requirements force you to spend money when I have the SAME exact item but since it is listed as a different designer name it doesn’t count as a requirement. They are literally the same item. Way to rip us off. So sketchy. Credit where credit is due the game is well done overall except for the currency system and game rewards. Also please stop scamming us. The game is already rigged against our favor to begin with.
Fun but it’s kind of hard to get money
by IrritatedBummedPissed on 2019/02/04 19:42
This game is a really good but if you need to get more than one thing for a room you can basically forget about completing the challenge. I feel like there should be a cash reward for completing challenges or something, like you get $200 for getting four stars and it goes down based on your score. Also please sort the items by price. Please.
Another greedy app
by Matt10187 on 2019/02/04 18:43
Don’t get me wrong. This is a great app. Very addicting and fun to play. I’d be happy to spend $50 bucks to buy it, but they want a continuous flow of $$$ from users in order to play ongoing. Too pricey to play on a regular basis unless you like flushing $$$ away!
Long wait between ads for diamonds :(
by 1HappyApe on 2019/02/04 14:40
Ads used to load pretty quickly, but now they take forever. (You can watch 20 ads per day for 300 diamonds.) It takes over an hour to get through them now and I can’t watch them all at once. I have to get on throughout the day because they just won’t load. Frustrating, please fix ASAP.
Too restricted
by Josh145b on 2019/02/04 14:05
I like the game but I think it shouldn’t use cash or gems so you could just build the room. I also don’t think furniture should be something to earn. It would be a better game if you had all the furniture and you could just design the room for the competitions.
Borrowing
by meage123 on 2019/02/04 13:58
It is really annoying how if u Want to borrow a piece of furniture from somebody, you have to sign into Facebook. Some people do not have a Facebook, because they are too young or because they just don’t have one. I think it would be a good idea if maybe we can have like friends on this app, and we can borrow from them. Like we can make friends and stuff on this app and we can request to borrow from them. I don’t have any money and I need a couch. And I don’t have a Facebook account and my friend has this same app, and I would love to borrow one from her. So I would really like it if maybe we could have like friends on this app so we can borrow furniture from them. PLEASE READ!!!!!

Eh
by AlliSuzanne on 2019/02/04 04:32
The long review of problems I feel like writing can be summed up to. “Allow us to keep purchased items forever or at least use 20 times” like it makes no sense that I will put 10 items in a room in hopes of winning 1 item I can use 5 times. It makes no sense. There is no way to get ahead in this game. I wish it was like their other game Covet that has better rewards for winning and permanent inventory items. Everything about the design of the game is wonderful but the games economy is very very messed up.
this game could be better
by sabs139 on 2019/02/04 01:59
you guys really need to have a filter option from lowest price to high . you guys barely give us any diamonds/money every day for coming back an when I only have a thousand dollars an maybe 700 diamonds it’d be nice to be able to filter through what I could afford Instead of scrolling and scrolling an scrolling through alllll the furniture you guys supply for us to choose . Prices are scattered through the whole assortment so I could spend atleast ten minutes jus scrolling to see what I could afford . Then if it’s at the top I keep track ... scroll all the way to the bottom to see what my other options are an then have to scroll alll the way back up to remember where I first saw the option for the price I could afford . It’s really frustrating an hard to make this game fun .

I have been playing for well over a year and loved the game!! I had over $40,000 as well as 40,000 plus diamonds!!! I had just advanced to level 55 and all of a sudden I was bumped back down to level one with little $and diamonds!! Now I was purchasing diamonds weekly because I loved playing so much!!! If this can’t be fixed I will be removing the app and will warn everyone not to waste their time or MONEY!!!

by Big sis 🤷🏼‍♀️ on 2019/02/03 21:26
I think it would be better if there was a free part of this. Unlimited furniture in a room and you don’t have to pay for anything. just to decorate for fun. other than having certain requirements to reach in every contest, it’s a fun game
Thumbs down on the art
by Tobybobie14 on 2019/02/03 19:51
This is a fun game however, after having played now for months, I’m very bored with it. The problem is the wall art. The choices are extremely poor and it is near impossible to earn enough to buy even these horrible pieces. Another problem is that it is always slow to load. It is extremely frustrating that things are often way way to slow to load!
Buyer beware
by Frae Njorthsson on 2019/02/03 19:01
Just to bring it to your attention, as the app does not do so, ( unless you read the FAQ, thoroughly), when you “purchase” items, you only get five uses. That’s it. After that, you have to buy the items over again. This very quickly becomes very costly and I would not recommend anyone play this game, unless you have a lot of extra cash.
Bummed
by bgalvinized on 2019/02/03 18:44
This game would be so fun, except it’s not. To make any cool session you have to keep spending $$. It takes ages to get any new art or accessories & a lot of challenges are hideous rooms (pink walls ether red drapes, barf). I feel like a sucker every time I play it... but it’s kind of addictive so I play it and feel like a fool. It could be so so so much more fun if you could actually access more of the libraries & the challenges looked cooler.
Fun but needs fixing 🏡
by Monkeys and pie on 2019/02/03 18:20
This game is really fun especially for those who have a interest in interior design, however, I do have a few problems with it. 1)Deleting Purchases. I would buy something from the shop for example a sofa, then a couple of days later, I would go to use it and it would be entirely gone. I would look for it in the shop and try to use it, then it would say “$1000” even though I already spent $1000 on it. This has probably happened to at the least, 15 or so of my items. 2) Other Ratings When I went to vote, some of the deigns did not match the theme, didn’t match the other items that then put in. For example there would be six black and gold items, then a pink and green plaid ottoman. Some of those designs would get four and a half stars, when mine, that would be perfectly designed would get three stars. Please fix this. 🙏
Tapjoy kills the joy of this game.
by Callalujah on 2019/02/03 14:49

Fun game, horrible scoring system
by Lavinia83 on 2019/02/03 08:13
This is a fun game, if you have the patience to wait long enough to earn money to design or pay for it with real $$$. But the scoring seems horrible and unfair. They put well designed rooms head to head and poorly designed rooms head to head, so the well designed rooms and poorly designed rooms are only a few fraction of a point apart. They should instead allow each room to be scored individually! PLEASE FIX THE SCORING SYSTEM! It’s also annoying that you buy furniture in the game you only can use 5 times... why??? This game can be a rip off, it’s obvious the creators are only it it for the $$$ and NOT to create a fun game to enjoy long term without putting in your own real $ into. Also, the prizes for winning are usually horrible furniture that I won’t ever use! Let us sell them back or give us options!!!!
Frustrating
by Buttercup0321 on 2019/02/03 03:23
This game can be frustrating, you have to look at other apps for diamonds, then you are inundated with solicitor phone calls. Then you don't get the diamonds anyway. Email Tapjoy about missing diamonds and you only get the prewritten email that does nothing for you I really love this game but it's so hard to make money. I'm not willing to put real money into virtual furniture. I'm going to have to wait a few days just to purchase a new sofa because the beautiful expensive sofas that I've already paid for are no longer available unless I buy them again. That's ridiculous!

it’s fun at first but it’s so hard to earn money and diamonds so eventually you run out and you can’t enter any challenges :/
Useless

This game is good to get ready to design but if you use all your money you would want to start all over, but this game doesn’t allow you to.
I love this game

I love this game, maybe, a little too much! I have always lived decorating. This game makes me happy! One thing I don't like however. I don't like getting notified that results are in for a challenge, if they aren't. Happens every day. I would like to only see that notification if I have results waiting in my inbox. Other then that, LOVE IT Why do we decorate for women and couples but not many men?

Really enjoy this game, I have been playing this game for about 4 years. I don’t spend money on game apps except for this one, it it my form of entertainment. In the four years I guess I have spent a few hundred dollars, but that has all stopped now! I suppose I’ll still play the game I just won’t get the same amount of enjoyment out of it, because you can’t design the rooms as well on free play as you can when you buy diamonds. The reason is I purchased two lux bundles and a 9.99 diamond and those didn’t initially go through, I again tried to put them through later and they went through. The next day or so the app again REPEATEDLY charged my card for these items I contact support and IOS there was no record of iOS receipt in my email yet there it is on my card! For a total of 24.96 The next day they again tried to charge my card I had to report my card stolen to stop The charges! I contacted customer support on the app for three days in a row now and asked that they credit my game account the diamonds as they obviously can’t credit my card since I had to cancel the card, and have not gotten a resolution!
Ruined by uneven reward system
by Kaizokumousy on 2019/02/02 18:19
The game was fun and exciting at the beginning . But by the time you reached your 3rd designing room you are already out of everything no more cash, gems and run out of attemps to use the old furnitures that you just bought. First of all the money that you get from designing a room is not enough reward compared to how much you have spent on designing it. Who in the world creates a game that lets players pay more than what we get rewarded for? It just gets boring and Frustraing and I haven’t even started yet! And why can’t I keep what I have purchased? It’s supposed to be unlocked in my inventory. The creators of this game are selfish and did all these set up so you will spend real money. I don’t mind spending money on a good game that I enjoy but tell me,Why should I have spend money in this game if I didnt even able to play it for more than 20 mins?

Super fun to play, but annoying. You run out of money way too quickly, and no one wants to spend real money on apps.

Great game

Designing

This is a very fun way to keep current in home design. The inventory’s on trend and bonus points for the catalogue of info on each piece in the event you might like to purchase an item for your own real house. I happened onto this game and took off with it kind of learning the rules, strategy of play, etc as I go. I have been playing almost a year now and spent $200 on my debit card to buy inventory. I have only received 3 scores of 5 in all my designs entered which seems extremely unfair as when I view the 5 star design winners they are no where as near as nice as my own entry. It seems to me like the voting system is off kilter, why not let real true experienced designers make the decision on final score. That seems more like it, and would probably be helpful in keeping the character of the design patterns fresh, rather than stagnating into only a certain look getting showcased into the 5 category. One last comment, the winning designs do not seem to take into account the preview info given about the home owners goals. Often times the 5 star designs do not pay any attention to the criteria of gender of the intended occupant or style desired by owners. Therefore, a pink frilly room is able to achieve a score of 5 even though the monologue calla for designing a room for a boy occupant. How does that work when the rest of us are taking in the desired effect of each room asked for in the description? Otherwise, love, love, love this addicting app.
This game has issues that must be resolved!

I've been playing this game for 3 months now and enjoy it a lot. It's fun to take a break and mess around designing a room, and I enjoy seeing what others have done to design the same room. However, I've suspected on numerous occasions that some of my items are gone before I've used them up, but then decided I just had a bad memory... now I am SURE of it! When I went to use chairs that I won recently there was only one in my inventory! I went through my past completed designs and sure enough, I had never used those chairs! Same with a table I had purchased and who knows how many other items...Buying items is expensive and winning them is challenging! (The game should be WAY less stingy with diamonds! 500 hundred a day should be 1000 and winning a mere 125 for a five star design is ridiculous! That should be 1000 as well, especially considering one halfway decent plant or picture sets you back 1000 diamonds! There should also be some diamonds awarded for four star entries, with five stars winning more.) With inventory being so precious I'd like to be able to use the full five I have bought or won and not have the game lose them, or whatever is happening to my inventory. DO NOT SPEND ACTUAL MONEY ON THIS GAME! Also, don't waste your time trying to "complete offers" to earn extra diamonds. You will almost never actually get any diamonds. It is a waste of time. Play the game but use your daily rewards only.
Great Game but Could Use Some Tweaks
by Xen-quility on 2018/03/14 00:02
I really do love this game and greatly enjoy designing the different rooms using different styles. There is room for improvement. For example, I wait in anticipation for my designer score on a particular room that I was extremely pleased in how it turned out, only to receive a lower score while a room that was designed in all white, all black, a combination of the two or one that didn’t even follow the style description wins “Top Score”. I’ve voted for some pretty amazing designs during judging that I’m sure also scored lower than the so called “Top Designs” that use little imagination by going monochromatic or use whatever style the player wishes rather than follow the style description given. It’s kind of demotivating to say the least. I feel as if 90% of the players have a thing against using actual color in a design. It would be helpful if the developers left in the description on the voting screens to remind the judging public of what style was supposed to be depicted. Also, items are priced way too high for only getting 5 uses from them before having to repurchase them. And last but not least, there is a greatly insufficient diversity in artwork and decorative items to go with the varied style choices. If you can ignore the “color blind” attitudes of the voting public and not get too upset when your design doesn’t do as well as the same boring all black, white or gray right rooms, then you’ll enjoy this game.
Fun to play but....
by Nelliepea on 2018/08/31 15:08
I’m often disappointed by the rating portion of the game. Having had years of study in design (mostly interior) I am very surprised that some of my best designs (in the game), which I used “in app purchases” to create the best most correct space (according to the description challenge provided), with what is available to us in the game, are always rated EXTRA low. I wouldn’t complain (after all it is a game and does not reflect my actual talent or skill level in the industry) but what really bothers me is that when you see the “top designs” many of them are esthetically unpleasing and considers no color flow, organization, rarely any attention on focal points or motif .... not only by my own standards and opinions but when I show them to my friends or peers they agrees. I wonder sometimes how the game is actually set up. I understand the game is not full of designers and people who know what they are looking at nor is it designed specially for designers to play, I just find it extremely annoying. I wish they could come up with a more accurate rating system. Over all it’s a relaxing and a some what addicting game that I will continue to play.... but will not purchase “diamonds” anymore as it seems to not matter if I spend money on improving my designs. A shame, because it’s so fun putting the rooms together and I would spend a lot of money playing if it seemed to make a difference for my “over all rating”. Oh well.
Great game with some flaws.
by Meow Meow Designa on 2018/03/28 03:30
I admit. I’m obsessed with this game. However, there are a couple of things I take issue with. First of all, SO many people don’t follow the design rules and they get ridiculously high scores. This seems to be a frequent complaint and I’m surprised the designers haven’t done anything about it yet. Honestly, I don’t care how beautiful your room is, I won’t vote for it if you have beach furniture in a challenge that calls for traditional. I’d rather vote for a less aesthetically pleasing room if I see the person really tried to follow the rules. There should have a description for each aesthetic (and possibly a visual representation) because people obviously have no clue how to design appropriately. And it’s pretty obvious that people who vote for these rooms don’t either. Also, we don’t ‘buy’ the items, we ‘rent’ them. A little pet peeve of mine. This should be changed in the app. And give us more than 5 uses! There also needs to be a category for “mid-century furniture.” One more thing... the prizes are often redundant. I’ve gotten 6 different grey chairs in the past couple of weeks. There really needs to be more variety in the prizes. What’s the point of designing a room if I’m getting another grey chair? In fact, I just passed on a challenge because once again the prize is... you guessed it: a another grey chair. There needs to be a better mix of furniture too. I have a bazillion cabinets. Give me a dang rug! P.S. I really do love your game.
Love game, would love it more if some things were changed
by wolffem on 2018/03/05 22:02
I have a, for the most part, great time playing this game. I love interior design and I feel it is a creative outlet. But, I feel some things should be changed in order for me to enjoy it more. Because things are so expensive I find myself not playing it for a while because my rooms can't look the way I'd like them to. I understand having to repurchase items, because some items I wouldn't want to have in my inventory forever, and the game has to make it so that people have to spend money. But, I feel if you win a prize you should be able to purchase it at a reduced price, that isn't diamonds. If you didn't win the prize it should remain the same price. I need diamonds to buy art and plants over and over again, because they really make the room. And I can't afford to spend the amount of money I'd like to on furniture because not only can I not afford to buy diamonds, and they took the earn free diamonds option off, when you buy them they don't give you a very large amount so it really doesn't last long. I also feel the score after voting should round up if you get a score of 3.7 or higher because there have been so many times I've gotten a score of 3.99 and not gotten the prize which is so annoying. But overall, love the concept of the game. Just wish it could be a little more fun by letting me create the kinds of rooms I'd like to create.
Great Game, Needs Some Improvements
by Rachie773 on 2018/01/17 13:17
I really do love this game! I enjoy doing the designs, and I’m always eagerly waiting my score for each design. I do however agree with many people’s responses around the expense required to buy accessories and wall art. I wish that if I bought an item, it was always my item and I didn’t have to continue repurchasing. My husband actually chastised me for the vast amount of money I have spent on this game. I also agree that the voting does not always seem accurate and that the criteria is not listed when someone is voting so the design may not reflect the desire of the customer and instead it’s just based on what the designer wants to design. I have changed the way I play because I recognize that I will not be judged on the client criteria, but on the general appeal. As I am voting, it seems that the two designs I am choosing between are very similar in style/quality/score. Therefore, the great designs are put together, and the designs that aren’t as good are put together. That would mean that some designs that should probably receive five stars do not because they were put up against others who are also very good. Finally, I really wish there was a way to earn more diamonds. It would be great if after you have achieved 75 keys, you could keep voting in order to receive diamonds. Great way to inspire people to vote and incentivize those of us who would like to earn diamonds more quickly.
Love the game!
by Jacey Laine on 2018/02/06 21:54
First off I love the app! I've been playing for months and haven't lost interest, that being said there's a few things I wish were different; first off I wish it was easier to earn cash I've put some of my own real money into the game and it's gone so quick but takes so long to add back up, second thing i think it'd be so fun to have mirrors available for wall decor the pictures and stuff sometimes just look weird but going without the decor looks weird too! Third thing is that I tend to find a few things frustrating the first being with the new update it takes HOURS to get your voting results, the second being the prizes often are things you can't use for a long period of time-I love the sectionals but they're not required often! The last thing is more of a personal preference more than anything I love when there are outdoor spaces to do I wish they were more frequent! I also really think it would be fun if you could choose more than just furniture in the rooms maybe do a series where you're in control of the paint and flooring too! in all I love the game and don't see myself quitting it anytime soon! This is an edit and I’d love the suggest the idea of being able SELL our unwanted stuff back! I have dozens of chairs i hate and won as prizes but I’ll never use i think it would be great to sell them or trade them in for something else and have to pay the difference kind of thing!
Good game!
by Neenie43 on 2018/01/27 21:20
While I thoroughly enjoy this design game, I agree with the one persons review. It’s very hard to earn diamonds for the wall art and plants, decor, etc. I have spent a great deal of money on this game and would prefer if you upped the daily reward to 1000 instead of the 500 or allow us to keep the items for longer instead of just the amount of 5 per item. I realize that you need to spend money in order for the game to continue, but believe more people would be able to create more appeal of the rooms if they had a little more leeway. Also agree that the judging of the designs are not accurate. I also have had to adjust to the way I decorate because some people don’t even read the description of the room and what the design calls for, IE. a rustic dining room or an industrial living room. People just design it how they want and pay zero attention to what the room calls for and then get judged on the appeal of the room, instead of what you’re supposed to design. My score has suffered because of this and it’s really not fair. Not to be a whiner, but I’ve seen people get a higher score than I do, with just throwing a room together with items that don’t even match what the design calls for. If you say to design a kids room per say, then the items should be kid decor. I shouldn’t have to change the way I design for a better score and not follow any of the directions. Does they make sense to anyone?
Pros and Cons
by lalalafun!! on 2018/10/04 21:32
First for the Pros. The game is fun, relaxing and allows you to express your creativity through home design. If you have friends that also play you can connect via Facebook and share inventory. Definite Pro. It’s also nice to see how your friends interpret the same room. Now for the Cons. At the top of the list is any interaction with Tapjoy. In order to obtain any wall decor, table art, or floor decor you have to earn or buy (with real money) diamonds. Some furniture also costs diamonds. They are hard to earn. Each day you earn 500 diamonds but most items are 700 diamonds plus. Most rooms need 6-7 items that are purchased with diamonds. In other words to play and completely outfit a room 500 diamonds a day doesn’t cut it. So you have to watch videos or take advantage of offers posted by Tapjoy. Most of these are scams. BEWARE! They just want you to spend real money. It is difficult to play without spending money. Diamonds should be more easily earned. You have to earn 5 stars on a design to earn 250 diamonds. This is a rare occasion. In order to earn 5 stars other players vote randomly on your designs. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes they don’t. Conclusion, the game can be frustrating since you are constantly trying to get diamonds to play and they don’t provide enough ways to get them without paying real money. Play at your own risk, I do cause I like to decorate. I wish there was another app like this. I would switch in a minute.
Enough with the B&W rooms!
by Roslin2018 on 2018/05/07 19:03
I just started playing the game and thoroughly enjoy it... except for the propensity of fellow players to vote for rooms designed in black and white or shades of gray no matter what the client brief identifies. Today’s case in point, a living room in Oahu that was to be designed “cozy, tropical, with playful decor” had three top designs in full on b&w totally lacking any connection to the tropical scenario. It’s one thing to design a room that doesn’t meet the specs, but an entirely different issue if other players are voting for them. There is a place for this kind of design (did a couple myself) but not *every* room. Players also seem to ignore the challenge when the room design is meant for a man. Someone else wrote a review and suggested the voting area show the design specs to remind people of the design challenge and I heartily agree. There are some amazingly talented people playing this game - and they use actual colors and take some risks in their designs. It’s a shame that the monochromatic designs are repeatedly rewarded. So... I recommend the game (even though it’s a bit expensive at the start) and encourage you to take the time to vote wisely. The game is quite relaxing and fun if you just enjoy the creative expression of doing the design that makes sense to you, admire the work of others as you vote, and don’t expect to earn rewards unless you go with monochromatic designs for every challenge.
Design addict

I have never been into video games before, and I am completely addicted to this game!!! I cannot stress this enough! I absolutely love it! However, if I am to be completely honest, I agree that earning cash/diamonds is too difficult. If I’m trying to stay within a design requirement and spending $1000+ (on a low end design) but only receive $500 for the design, that seems off. However, I saw someone else suggest earning diamonds for extra voting, which I agree would be an excellent way to incentivize more. Trading unused/unwanted items in would be great! Also once you hit a criteria level (plants, art, table stuff) you should get to use that unlimited, you already earned it. I also read how people don’t use the criteria mentioned in the description and the designs all end up being only neutral colors and monotonous. I suggest being more aggressive with item requirements, such as more color item requirements per design, and mix them up so that people can learn color theory while they play. I am so tired of voting for only black or white furnishings...I want to see more COLOR please!!! One last item...more challenges-more often, with higher rewards, one suggestion would be if a design wins 4.0 or higher and they use an element in their design that uses diamonds, then they earn those diamonds as a reward. But overall, I FREAKING LOVE this game!!! Thank you!!! Bravo!!! Keep tweaking!
Great fun but needs tweaks
by GrubbyGrapes on 2018/03/26 02:19
I’ve been playing this for a while now, and really enjoying it. I have even spent real money and don’t regret it. However, I anticipate that I will soon get tired of it because, even with spending real money, I find myself buying the same inexpensive furniture over and over; so do most players so rooms start looking all the same. It would be better if each challenge was set up more like the real world: a client has a room to be designed in a certain style and has X amount of dollars to spend. That way I could manage that money to purchase furnishings, deciding if I should splurge on an expensive carpet or spread the money out evenly, for example. With a more open-ended choice, the rooms would be far more diverse and interesting, and I doubt I’d ever get bored. Also, then I wouldn’t be left with pieces that aren’t always suitable for the other challenges. Lots of times I see rooms badly styled - like Victorian style furniture placed in a rustic challenge because folks are just trying to use up their stock. I also think the amount of decor could be greatly increased. Perhaps decor could be used as prizes, with a certain number of decor items being required as furniture now is. The rooms desperately need a greater selection of decor and the devs could use this as their money maker. If you decide to give this game a try, I would recommend getting their starter pack.
I'm Addicted
by Sleepy girl B on 2018/01/07 15:44
Love this!!! I downloaded the game when I was working as the GM of a furniture store and have been addicted ever since. It's fun and is a great way to learn about design and color palettes. I agree with the voting inaccuracies and I've noticed there is very little detail to the challenge when you vote. Give me the full story so I can vote fairly! If I haven't designed that room I don't know. It also seems like the best designs are always up against each other and so are the not so good ones. I think that affects the voting as well. I'm not mad about buying diamonds. Congrats on running an effective business. If you don't want to buy them, don't. I've also had no problem with TapJoy. It's just slow and I think you have to link your profile or they can't recognize that the task was completed? Not sure. I just bought 8,000 diamonds after completing a task and then two hours later my 12,000 diamond reward was there. Sorry for the lack of instant gratification here people. Be patient. I'm not going to lower the rating for first world problems like "you made me spend my money" or "I want to keep my furniture in virtual world! 😭". Yes, they want you to spend money. Real money. There are no pop up ads while we design a room for three hours. Be grateful and spend it honey. But can I please keep my accessories??!!!! 🙃
Addictive and beautiful graphics, but...
by Ty&Lo on 2017/10/19 00:07
Started this game about a week ago and was instantly hooked. Beautiful furniture, rooms, and huge inventory to choose from. It's very relaxing to sit down on a break and design a room. However, I too have to echo what has been mentioned before: 1. Many of the "winners" aren't being selected for the actual criteria listed. If I was a customer that wanted a specific style i.e. Rustic and I walk into a completely opposite direction of design like a contemporary style I'd be upset. What's the point of even having a specific challenge when others will just do their own thing. Not very fair to the ones actually designing for the specific style this challenge states. 2. Again, with the challenges not being specific to needs met--I recognize that it is difficult to buy anything the challenge requires if you're only limited to a few hundred diamonds per day, or having to vote so many times to get the allotted amount of keys, and with the daily challenge only $2500. Great idea, don't get me wrong, just a little refining and I'm sure the developer will get it right. 3. More daily challenges?? More challenges throughout the day!! Please. I hate waiting an entire day for votes/voting without working on my own project. Maybe don't wait so many days between designing and voting? I only write this review because this game is fun, addictive, and I really hope they can refine some of these mentioned features.
Purchases not always correct
by Expectant Patient on 2018/01/19 07:58
I love playing this game but I’ve noticed that it’s possible to purchase the same item without knowing it, leaving the player with two of the same item. It also seems that not all items purchased are available for all of the stated number of uses. Further, it’s an unfair advantage to higher score players to have their designs judged against those of lower level players. The availability of higher end wall decor and decorator items increases as the levels are completed creating an advantage for the higher leveled designs. Also, when borrowing from another player, the item should be available as a duplicate if used in the same design. It’s not helpful to be permitted an opportunity to borrow a sofa, for example, in a design that requires two and be unable to use the borrowed item more than once. I’ve also noticed that special design items purchased seem to disappear, regardless of the number of uses remaining available, when the limited use timeframe expires. That’s not fair to the player. If items are purchased they should remain available for use until the designer has exhausted their use. Finally, not all purchased items show as owned in spite of the money being taken from the designer. I agree with the other review... purchased items should remain the property of the designer, rather than limited to a certain number of uses. Seems very one sided...
Good, could be great
by Chiguynextdoor on 2017/10/20 15:47
The actual app is actually fairly entertaining (for those who enjoy design); however, as with most, there is room for improvement. The furniture and other items are really quite expensive, and it’s difficult to create a good design without paying real money for extra “diamonds” — especially if one chooses to enter more than just the daily challenge. There are times I will have to collect the daily reward but skip entering the challenge, so I can save up enough diamonds. They do offer free diamonds through Tapjoy, but more than 1/2 the time, you don’t get the reward for the action. I think my only other issue is that it does seem a little gender biased. All challenges are determined by user ratings, and I’ve noticed there’s a strong preference toward girly/frilly/flowery designs. As a guy, I like more sleek, modern, monotone (or at least black/white/gray) and industrial, and those don’t get more than 4 stars except for a few key exceptions (mainly when the room is very contemporary and requires a modern design — there are often requirements for challenges). I guess since it is an interior design app, it does make sense that the majority of the users would be females, which is disappointingly stereotypical. All in all it’s a fun app. If one doesn’t mind in-app purchases, it’s a great app. I just have a very hard time justifying paying for apps or in-app options.
Wildly Addictive - but Wildly Expensive!
by llcreader on 2018/02/16 08:10
I’ve loved this app since I found it, just a few weeks ago. I’m not a professional designer or anything, but an avid HGTV viewer and I love to learn about interior design. So every challenge has been so much fun! Great concept, but, sadly, I have to say goodbye. Just too expensive to play well, and no fun to play badly! I agree with other comments I’ve seen, that the following improvements would encourage more players, and ultimately, a more successful app: 1. For the love of heaven, when we buy items, why can’t we keep them? Making your users buy the same items over and over again just seems greedy and mean. 2. Isn’t there some way to help or at least encourage voters to stick with the design criteria, rather than just voting for what they like? Maybe a daily reward for designers and voters who stick most closely to the stated criteria. 3. Diamonds need to replenish more quickly if you want people to continue playing every day. Obviously, the reason they don’t replenish is because you want people to buy diamonds. However, unless your demographic is limited to only the wealthy, your player base is going to disintegrate at some point, hopefully before they’re in bankruptcy and/or divorce court. Which brings me back to my decision to delete the app. I will miss it, but the credit card statement I received in the mail today is a powerful motivation. And I’d like to stay married.
Art work
by Dragon City beware on 2017/10/16 00:17
Often the art work makes the room or design come together. It’s frustrating to have such limited choices at first and to see great designs only have beginner choices which doesn’t help those designer compete on a fair basis. Maybe instead of picking furniture items that are the same you base competitions on the level of art someone works with. The game costs too much to play buying the same items over and over. Once something is purchased it should stay in purchased section. Otherwise great game. But I may have to go back to cheaper games even if sudoku gets boring. Puzzles are cheap and if you love color, just about as satisfying. Tired of white, black and grey. What’s with grey anyway? It’s everywhere in real life and so ugly imho. It’s lighter than black and doesn’t show dirt like white and pillows can be changed to revive what has become boring but it’s grey that is boring to start with. Don’t you envy all the Cubans with their colorful uniquely designed 50’s cars. The we went to silver or grey cars you can’t tell from pavement. Come on America. Show some life. Put some big color back out there. My first live in life was color from the Golden Book The Color Kittens. We need more art for our designs and try a picture with some purple or lavender so we can use the couch with lavender pillows more.

I agree that this game is great. It is so much fun for all the reasons the other ratings describe. HOWEVER, I have been playing for well over a year and I am ashamed to say that I spend at least $60 per month purchasing inventory. Often, I have no choice; the criteria for decorating the room includes items I simply do not own, so I have to purchase them. This might not be so bad if you truly kept everything you purchased until you used it. But that is not the case; as others have said, inventory often just disappears. I thought at first I was just forgetting things, but then I began keeping copious notes of what I bought, how many I had, and what I used, which proved my suspicions to be true. Now if it were free inventory that was being deleted, It might not be so bad. But when I am paying my own money for these items of inventory and they still disappear, it seems like that could have legal ramifications. If I were not so addicted to this game I would have thrown it away a long time ago. But it is so entertaining that for some reason, I just keep tolerating the abuse. I keep hoping that eventually the “game’s conscience” will stop all of these deceitful practices, but I am still waiting. Like someone else sad, a smart person would just play the game with only the inventory that they win. It is a bad habit of which I need to wean myself.
Creative Game but voting frustrating
by Aoctx on 2018/07/31 14:24
I love the challenges, interior design is a passion of mine. After submitting your room though don’t expect to understand the outcome. In my opinion: 1) voters don’t like color 2) voters don’t like mixing textures, prints no matter how well they work together 3) the black and white rugs, particularly the one with circles receive 5 stars at least 60% of the time 5) it takes diamonds to add the important finishing touches, art, plants, table decor, so if you don’t receive 5 star ratings (which pay 125 ) regularly you’ll have to spend real money to compete. Rarely if ever will a room receive a high score without these. 6) it seems I am voting in the same group of designers every time so the results will be similar most of the time as it’s clear “they” don’t like/understand my style 7) you move up a level each time the value of your designs reaches a million $, and each level offers specific art and accessories which make the room designs stand out from most, it’s all about what you’re willing to spend unless you consistently receive 5 stars for your designs 8) monochromatic groupings with all the accessories are preferred by the voters. You’ll have to decide if you want to create for “them” to receive inventory and maybe diamonds or create per your style, if you choose the latter be prepared to spend real cash to get inventory.
Love the idea, but needs a couple changes
by FishHa01 on 2017/10/13 13:54
The majority of the concepts found in this game are great, the guidelines and styles are varied so you don’t get bored, and the rooms and products are beautiful! That being said, my biggest complaint is how wacky the voting is - designs that win five stars often have NOTHING to do with what the “client” has requested, which in the real design world WOULD NOT WORK. I don’t know if it’s mostly because it takes five votes to get three keys (which I will admit, gets really old after a while) so people just pick one for the keys instead of the design, or if it’s something else, but it can be very frustrating when a design that meets all of the criteria gets a 3.78 and another that is monochromatic and doesn’t reflect the style of the room gets a 5.00. The other biggest issue I have (like many of my other fellow players) is how hard it is to get diamonds, and how overpriced wall art and accessories are. The pieces that often make a design come together should not be harder to purchase than a couch or bed. I really enjoy playing this game, it’s by far the most realistic, beautiful, and thought out design game I’ve seen. However, these two aspects are making it far less enjoyable than it could be, and it’s getting pretty frustrating at this point. I would love to see some other options for earning diamonds and keys, and maybe that will help with the voting as well!
Unfortunately

It is difficult for me to write this but others need to know. I have been active with this game since July 2017 and have purchased several diamond packages and furniture bundles. Never having a problem until about 2 weeks ago. I had trouble getting the diamonds and furniture I was purchasing to show up and received pop-up messages that stated there was a problem and to try again. When I tried again I got a pop-up message stating that this was already purchased and will be restored for free. Not sure why they say “restored for free” since I paid for it. When it still didn’t show up I tried again. Still my purchases never showed up. After a bit of back and forth communication I was told I needed to send copies of my receipts. I did so and was messaged that Design Hime recognizes my problem and will credit it to me. Here we are a week later and after several messages, not only have I not received my purchases, Design Home has not responded to me. These purchases add up to $38. This is due to me following the instructions and trying again later. Trying again doubled what I was purchasing and Design Home has been paid twice. I don’t understand why I am not getting a response. I am patient and understanding. I know things go wrong and am not one get upset if I am treated right. Being lied to and ignored for days and days is not acceptable. All I wanted were the items I purchased and was told I would get.
Fun but needs tweaking
by BklynSprngWtr on 2017/12/12 22:38
I’ve been playing for several months now and it’s fun but a few things would make it better. First, allow the ability to check off items and then view checked items when in a room designing. If I have a choice of 60 sofas it gets tedious and annoying to try and recall which ones I liked, scrolling back and forth to try them in the room. There should be a tab where a person can save maybe 5 items at a time. Not permanently but just while in a room designing. Sometimes I get so tired of all the scrolling I give up and just don’t bother. Second, diamonds are earned way too slowly in an obvious attempt to coerce ppl into paying for the specialty decorative items that can only be purchased with diamonds. Without them your rooms don’t look as good as others so you don’t get good ratings and lose competitions. Once again, sometimes I just going the app to get my free daily cash and diamonds and don’t enter any competitions so I can build my money/diamonds and finally be able to afford to create a decent room. Do something about this, why can we convert cash into diamonds but not vice/versa? Also don’t bother ever completing the offers to earn diamonds, there’s only about a 25% chance you’ll get them and no support provided to petition to receive diamonds you may have downloaded apps, taken surveys and watched videos to get. So it’s 3 Stars.
Fun, but really needs development work
by Jess-123454321 on 2018/04/24 16:51
This app is fun and a great way to relax for a few minutes a day. However, there are two features that make me lose interest in it. 1). The voting process. There are so many designs that are really bad - either they don’t match the theme or they contain the bare minimum of objects that don’t even match. Those designs often have 4+ stars. Lately I have observed that about half my designs get less than 4 stars even when they match the theme and there is flow and coherence in the design (this is not a question of taste - it is totally obvious when someone has just thrown things together to get the $$ vs. someone who put in effort even if their design is not “my style.” 2) I don’t spend money on games that collect money for advertising (which this game does; the brands are real and they pay to be featured in the game), so I jumped through a bunch of hoops to “earn” free diamonds and I wasn’t given the reward even though I followed the instructions. Customer service never responded to my inquiry. I think considering the amount of money they receive from advertising they could make it easier to earn money and diamonds in the game. After all, the whole point is that people find items they like and then actually purchase the “real thing” for their own homes. The more you play, the more items you find and the greater the probability of purchasing from the brands that are paying for adverts in.
Beware
by Yuck1!1!222 on 2018/06/07 04:07
I absolutely love this game. It's super fun BUT...There is something off with it! I'm not entirely sure the makers & people who run it are honest. I wasn't receiving my Daily Diamonds & so stupidly I purchased them because basically you can't play the game otherwise. When I learned I should be getting them every day if I collected the daily reward, I complained to customer service & asked to be reimbursed with more diamonds. They told me how to remedy the situation (I couldn't find anything in their Q&A section) but didn't say or do anything about reimbursing me. I contacted them twice more before they finally told me they can't help me & directions to contact iTunes. Sketchy! It also seems like prices are adjusted depending on the daily design challenges making them even more expensive when needed for a challenge. Items also disappear from personal inventory without having used them up. Also, it's way too expensive! There should be more diamonds given every day & items should cost less...It's a total scam! Fun, but a scam! Lastly voting seems really strange sometimes! I realize they say it's not set up to favor anyone or any items & that certain designers aren't given special perks however, I don't know... Something is not right! I just wonder what if anything they aren't being above board about? Someone should report them! My recommendation...Don't use this app! It's addictive & once they reel you in you'll feel scammed!
Predictable
by Ljeffries1211 on 2018/03/12 14:16
I have been playing this game for awhile, and am at level 31. In order to submit designs, you need to accumulate enough keys, but you can only accumulate keys by voting for other designs. This feature is fine, and gives you a chance to view other styles and ideas. Others vote on your designs as well, then your design gets a rating based on other’s votes. This too is a clever idea. However, it is nearly impossible to get a five star rating, unless you do a predictable and boring design. The same type of designs win all the time, with the same furniture. It’s relatively easy to obtain 5 stars if you make the rooms all white or all black with the same boring carpet and wall art used over and over. You can see that all the five star rooms have the same exact color schemes and decorations! BORING! Just copy the five star rooms for your next design, with a monochromatic color scheme, matching tables, and boring white and black carpet! Also, why do you have to “buy” the furniture and decorations? These items should be free, so that everyone has the same access, and it’s a level playing field. Obviously those players that have access to the better merchandise are going to get 5 stars. Despite these annoying elements, I keep playing because the idea is good, and mindless activity is what I need at times.
Losing love
by Lavender Goombs on 2018/02/02 18:59
I started playing this game at the end of the summer, and love the concept and have definitely enjoyed the game (and even got my sister in law to play), but I am quickly losing my love for this game. I used to enter all the challenges, and now I only enter a few, because of the 5 uses rule. It is insanely stingy! Especially since so many challenges require multiple uses of an item (like dining room challenges and some challenges require 4 arm chairs and some require multiple couches). I realize this is an in-app purchase game, and they’re trying to make money, but for the amount you have to spend for these items (particularly the plants, wall and table art which add so much to the look of the room), 5 uses is pretty pitiful and makes me feel like I’m being cheated. If you have to lose items, you should get at least 15-20 uses out of it. And I think you should be able to convert cash to diamonds, even if they put a limit on how much (like you can only convert up to $1000) or something. Especially since you can easily spend that many diamonds on a single item. I would be so happy with this game if they just made some simple adjustments they would make me feel more valued as a player. As it is now, I have already severely lowered the time I spend playing it, and without some changes, I’m sure I will become increasingly frustrated with it.
Design home feedback
by smitty3533 on 2017/10/17 23:10
I do like this game, however, the levels are hard to move up in. A million dollars for each level is tough to do and costly. Also you have us up against others who are several levels ahead and can decorate with stuff more appropriate which really isn’t right. You should group by levels since they are so hard to advance in. I would also like to see how many votes we actually got. Honestly, 3.99 makes me wonder how many votes I missed out on to get awarded something at the 4.0?! We spend real money to get diamonds and design a room and get nothing for our effort at all in the end is discouraging. I also notice, and may be a reason for me to move on from this app, the winners are almost always on a black and white color scheme?? They don’t even seem to read what the task is about. They obviously have to put certain requirements in to enter, but, a little kids room should not have big red lips on wall and win. That is my point as stated above.....the animals or space pictures are so out of reach.....kids bedrooms are almost impossible to do. And a teens room with baby blocks on the floor or an abc chalk board win the votes?? I know it’s voted on by people who play, but, there should be a way to change it to reflect the story you put with it. A house for the future and rustic or traditional take the 5.0 isn’t right, in my opinion.
Unreliable, cumbersome - too bad for otherwise fun game
by Jakm2atx on 2017/09/24 01:38
After playing this game for months - my entire inventory was wiped out with one of their updates! Customer service is nonexistent- no help at all. No solution to this problem - and I see several people having the same problems. They need to fix the bugs and address some of the recurring concerns that make this game too cumbersome to enjoy. All my previous points still apply - but this latest flaw and the lack of support make this a very unreliable game, especially if you spend your own money on the app. Don't make that mistake! Glad I didn't!!!!! This was my initial review: Agree with common suggestions for improvement and hope these will be considered and implemented. Make money and diamonds easier to get, otherwise it's too hard to get pieces needed for specific room requirements. Make sure challenges actually reward you with diamonds when completed. They very often do NOT reward you - very frustrating. Voting is fine - but it's odd to see some of the highlighted winners which are clearly NOT the best designs. Hmm .... Maybe make 4 star winners get prizes and a little money or diamonds. And let us keep our purchased items and prizes longer - - 5 times to use these items isn't enough. And some of the accessories - let us just keep those. All these would make this a 5 star app - I'd play more and be even more addicted! I truly hope someone reads these reviews and implements some of these recurring suggestions!
Don’t pay & don’t read articles for diamonds
by App Affiocando on 2018/04/11 06:55
Your items are time-sensitive as well as use sensitive. Things will disappear before you use them. Also, don’t read articles to earn diamonds. They almost always renege on the diamonds & it is way too hard to complain - I’ve been put into a continuous loop to nowheresville - and let me tell you, those ads around these “articles” are getting the stink eye from me too! Bad advertising to be linked to stiffing people! Given the obvious trust issues these two policies raise, I’d never give actual, real money to anything associated with this app! It’s fun to play but don’t trust it! I delete it periodically too, because well, in my family of apps, he’s the relative that you’re embarrassed by & would count the silver after they visit... Update: staying at 3 stars for lack of response when I bothered to complain. Actually told me step by step how to file a report with Tapjoy, which if they listened to me is part of the problem. You get stuck in an endless loop following those directions. And then here’s the kicker: they’re backlogged 7 days so if you don’t hear back from them in 14 days report back. Because I’m going to diligently waste my time helping you figure out this is a problem. Yeah, play the free parts of the game people but don’t give them any of your money. Knocked down two stars just for that.
Great idea, but...
by shadowkissed11 on 2017/11/04 04:16
Edit from Nov 2017: Tapjoy has to be the most frustrating company that Design Home could have partnered with. Over a month ago I sent in my complaint about diamonds I never received. I waited two weeks with no reply after sending in the information that was requested. Then I contacted Design Home within the app and low and behold it's been another two weeks and still no diamonds and no reply except an automated response. This is frustrating and unfair. I love this game. I play it daily and complete every challenge but it's extremely unfair to not reply to customers when they spend time and effort into playing what could be the best game in the App Store. Old Review from 2016: This game is asking for way too much out of pocket. When it comes down to it, it's not fair to spend $1,500-2,000 per room to meet the requirements when the payout is only $500. It's great to be rewarded 500 gems daily, but in the end I rather get the cash and earn gems by entering challenges. It's also not fair to purchase an item only for it to be taken away once you've used it 5 times. It should be rewarded back once voting is over for each room. If the game didn't make it so difficult to actually enjoy it, I'd be playing it daily by checking it every morning and every night. Hopefully the creators listen to their players and change a few things.
Fun but disappointing
by Flufflybunny530 on 2018/05/03 10:08
As I have played this company’s other game Covet for years, I thought I would really enjoy this game. I did enjoy it, however, it is just WAY TO EXPENSIVE. I can honestly only play it a couple times a week because all the furniture is thousands upon thousands of dollars and I never seem to actually have enough money to make a room look nice or to place all the required furniture. The second issue is the fact that items are limited to a 5 time use. When I found that out, I immediately wanted to delete the game because like seriously c’mon. If I’m already spending over a thousand of my limited game money that I already have, I want to KEEP my item. I thinking the fact that it is limited contributes to the expensive problem. The third issue that I find with the game is that many people seem to not follow the theme of the room. Many times I have entered a rustic, or traditional type of look and the winners are ALWAYS modern and have super clean lines. Honestly, I don’t think that’s fair at all because modern isn’t rustic!! They deserve a penalty or something because they aren’t following the theme yet they are the ones who win. I hope these things are fixed or changed a little because I really enjoy interior designing and I also enjoyed their game Covet...but I’d rather not continue to play it if I literally have to spend real money on it.
Terrible Customer Service!
by KellyMaxey on 2017/11/17 16:02
I’ve contacted customer service several times with questions and never get an answer or even a reply! The worst part is people judging/voting on your work that have no taste or sense of what the requirements were for the project. I’ve done so many 5 star worthy rooms but receive a lower score and then when I see some of the ones that got 5 stars it’s just ridiculous!! Like who are these people voting?! It passes the time when you’re bored but don’t take it seriously or you will get undoubtedly annoyed, especially when you know what you’re doing (I work in Interior Design) but clearly most of the other people don’t!! I wrote my review before I read any of the others....I now see we ALL have the exact same complaints!! This app needs a serious overhaul! UPDATE: It is now over a month since my initial review....I have since lost interest in playing the game at all! My previous complaint about the voting has gotten even worse, it is now a complete joke when I see rooms that have gotten 5 stars that clearly just threw anything in there yet mine followed the requirements and aesthetically is extremely better but I can’t even get to 4 stars to at least collect a prize. I guess all the Candy Crush people found this app and decided to try something new 🙄. I now only design the “daily” just to receive my cash and diamonds for the day, no interest in it anymore otherwise. #toobad
Needs some work
by Princesspeachxoxo on 2018/10/18 02:16
I really like this game, I've been playing since July and have been stuck on it ever since. But they make it WAY too hard on us as the designers to complete a design with how stingy and expensive they are with buying items to use them. They make certain items too expensive, and they also don't reward you enough when you complete and/or win a challenge. I run so short on diamonds and money all of the time. They pretty much want you to pay with your own money to gain more diamonds to play the challenges. The game is really fun but it's also a little stressful, you don't have enough money so you can't really enjoy playing. We already have these type of financial problems in real life as it is, Lol so why can't they make THIS game be where We can escape those problems and just have fun ?! I just wish they were more user friendly and they didn't make it difficult. I've referred this game to many of my friends and they stopped playing BECAUSE they didn't have anymore money to spend and they didn't want to spend their own money to play... it shouldn't be like that. There's a lot of other bugs also in the game they need to fix... sometimes I can't find furniture that I bought before, all of the sudden they disappear??? ... certain things like that.
Love it, but needs some tweaks
by Kellyanna7 on 2017/10/29 18:58
I love playing Design Home. However, they need to make a few changes. Once you have purchased an item, you should be able to use it as many times as you want. Everything is very expensive and it’s otherwise very difficult to build up enough money to buy things that you would actually want to design with. Also, you need to be able to purchase more art items. You have to get to such high levels and then just get a few very specific art pieces added to your collection. Designers have nearly unlimited access to choose art pieces and those are often the focal point of a room. When I have less than 20 things to choose from, it is very difficult to again design a room that you actually want. Also, they need to give more of a prize for getting a five star room. You get 500 diamonds just for signing in each day and you only get 125 forgetting a perfect five star room? Otherwise I do really enjoy this game. It’s amazingly well designed in terms of graphics. There seems to be a bit of a quirk in terms of choosing certain items and the program telling you they are too big for the area, when it is obvious they are not. If the developers make these changes, I think this would be85+ star game! Thank you.
Fun, addictive, weirdly scored
by AG 17 on 2018/08/31 01:22
I agree with the other reviews I’ve seen - this is super fun if you enjoy interior design, the inventory is deep in all categories, and I enjoy the challenges presented and trying to keep within the budget allotted daily and earned per project. You win additional items for your inventory if you score above a 4 on the challenges, which is motivation to play this like a game. If you have any eye for color combinations and patterns beyond black and white, you really have to resign yourself to not getting scores close to or at a 5. If you look at the top scoring rooms for any challenge, 99.5% of them will be totally black and white and/or a monochromatic color scheme. Like someone will throw some beach themed art in a distressed gray frame on the wall of a sleek modern loft if the painting skews blue and the four pieces of furniture and rug they are using are also blue. Often there is little to no consideration for the client described in the highest scoring designs. I consistently score over a 4, but I have only gotten a handful of solid 5 designs. So if you’re cool with that aspect, it’s a really great game. And if you’re looking to really gamify it, just don’t stray from black and white no matter the challenge and you’ll score high every time.
Obsessed when I began, but starting to fade
by Jaysgirl95 on 2017/12/28 07:17
I became addicted to the game immediately. It was meant for someone like me - creative, analytical, and highly competitive. There’s just one problem...I’m so sick of seeing top scoring designs that haven’t followed the design room description. I understand that the population “votes” for the best room, but in the end there should be some sort of penalty assessed when a room doesn’t follow the room description. Example: An Artist’s View was a blank canvas - white walls, floors, etc. and she wanted to add splashes of color. Yet the top 5 designs were nothing but black and white furniture and rugs. Please help me understand how this follows the rules of the game? Regardless of whether the players voted for the designs, there should have been a penalty enforced and those never should have been the top designs. Otherwise, why include the room description at all?? Just leave it out if you won’t make players abide by it. Oh and if you’re reading this, here is the key to becoming a top scoring player: make sure all of your designs are monochromatic (leaning toward black, white, and grey) and buy diamonds everyday so you have tons of artwork and plants. If you become obsessed with the game like I did, I figure it’s a modest $60 per month investment, at a minimum. Luckily I stopped buying after a week when I realized it was pointless.
You will spend a fortune
by @emilyhamlton on 2017/09/18 14:58
While the challenges are a lot of fun and the game is fun, the amount of money you need to spend to fulfill the design challenges is a bit on the ridiculous side. Most of the extras require diamonds and you only earn 500 diamonds a day. If you score a 5.0 on a design you get a bonus of 125 diamonds which is the equivalent of getting a 10 cent bonus when you need to buy a car. A plant is at least 600 diamonds. ALL the extras that you need to score above a 4.0 on a design (pictures, table accessories) require diamonds not cash- and while diamonds can be supplemented for cash items, the reverse is not true. The daily diamond gift should be AT LEAST 1000 diamonds. It still does not give you enough to go on a shopping spree but would allow you to purchase a plant or picture. The items you purchase should be yours to keep (especially for the amount of money they cost) and/or the prize items should be things you actually use on a design. I think the fairest thing would be to have the prizes have a five design limit and then what you purchase is yours to keep. Additionally, you'd think that as the levels increase the items at each level would improve. It'd be great to be able to say "no thanks" to some of the things (multiple pictures of red lips) and trade them for the diamond value instead. People will still spend money on extras but it won't be such an obvious money pit and would be more enjoyable to play.
25 diamonds for losing thousands?
by Saint Christy on 2018/10/25 04:25
I really enjoyed this game at the beginning. The problem is the lack of game currency allotted. A pittance is given at the start of the day. Very few are even gifted as the big 5 Star prize. Voting on other players designs is how we get ”keys” that a low us to enter our designs in, and the voting is rarely fair. The designs with the best art win. The art you can buy is only given to you in stages as you move up in the game. 1000s of diamonds apiece for the same boring wall art, plants, and table art we have to used the same art over and over again. You get 5 of each piece for your diamonds, and often have to use three or mors pieces of various art per room. More than 60% of the people use a cheating app with bots; to afford this app, because it is impossible to keep playing, and getting a decent score honestly. The game hasn’t been loading correctly for weeks. I used all my virtual money and diamonds to do several challenges. Because of loading issues, I wasn’t able to finish the designs with matching furniture. Thousands of diamonds, and no help from support, we were sent 25 diamonds to pacify us. There is not one single item in the store that 25 diamonds would touch! Misers of the worst kind! As soon as another game that isn’t covered with adds comes out, I’m gone!
I have such mixed feelings
by BiblegirllovesGod on 2018/08/30 00:04
For starters, I have never had a game longer than 2 weeks on my phone- and I’ve had this one for 6 months. So that’s saying a lot! The reason I have mixed feelings is two fold- diamonds and ratings. 1- you cannot advance your actually gameplay without purchasing diamonds. You do get daily diamonds, but they are not enough to buy art pieces or florals- and those are what will get you the high scores or score high enough to win a prize. You will NOT get a high voted score without those two components. You can gain all the cash you want, but you can’t purchase the things that can get you better ratings. 2- The rating system is very jacked. The only color schemes that are acceptable are all black, all green, or all turquoise. It’s honestly so annoying 😫. What starts out as super fun to come up with designs is quickly destroyed as you realize that unless you select an entire room of green, black, or turquoise decor with alllllll and I mean ALLL of the same art work and plants and table toppers- you will not win a prize. The game has been just who can replicate that and I wish it was about being creative and eclectic. The voting is extremely annoying as well because you just choose between two great or two terrible rooms. That being said- I do love this game and have played it for months!!
Frustrating!!!
by Batalia1 on 2017/11/14 13:51
I have been completely addicted to this game for months to the point where my friends and I laugh and joke about how it might be ruining my life. That part is not why I’m frustrated. Another reviewer discussed in an earlier review that people often don’t follow the style parameters and tend to do better than the person who tries to follow the directions. For instance, the instruction will ask for a futuristic living room, and the room that scores a perfect 5.00 is very contemporary room. But that’s not the most frustrating part of this game. Don’t even get me started on the Tapjoy reward system! There are in-game offers you can complete through a company called Tapjoy, where you pay money for something like, a magazine subscription, and in return, you get diamonds. Diamonds pay for the furniture you use in the game. Because of my addiction to the game, I’ve justified taking advantage of many offers through Tapjoy, and ALMOST EVERY SINGLE TIME, the deal gets botched. Currently, I’ve been waiting for a month for diamonds that they’ve shorted me. This is after 6 frustrating attempts to communicate with them and the Design Home support team, who are equally neglectful. They laaaaaaag on their responses. So, because of this, I’m seriously considering deleting this game. It causes me more anguish than enjoyment. Right, guys, right? I should totally delete this game! Right?
Lots of fun, but in limited doses.
by alicia 0084 on 2017/10/17 17:01
This is one of the best design games I’ve played. It’s very realistic. The items used in the game can actually be bought in real life, which I think is really cool. There’s a daily challenge that rewards $2500, which is usually pretty easy to design for. But many of the other challenges I can’t enter because I don’t have enough money to buy the required items, so I can’t do those challenges. I love playing it but many items and challenges are out of reach. I recommend this game but I’m hoping the developer will make changes to the reward systems for money and diamonds and make them more in line with the actual cost of items and the cost of creating a cohesive design. Also, I wish items that have been rewarded for reaching a higher level, like the plants and artwork etc, didn’t have to be rebought. That should be ones reward for reaching those levels, and with how many are used in each design they should be free to use or 90% cheaper! Overall, it’s fun to play, but to get the full enjoyment of the game would cost hundreds of real dollars and at that price I could have bought one of the real items and be sitting on it right now 😉. Just like real life, fun in the game comes with a big price tag.
From an active player

I love this app. But of course All games have flaws. Two of my mild complaints follow. First, this is a competition where players design rooms that are judged by other players as a design they “like.” There are suggestions for the type of design each entry should include. Yet there are no points awarded for best meeting that criteria. Or, perhaps raters aren’t paying attention to the design goal. Seems modern black/white schemes generally score highest even though the instructions may say something like “design a traditional room with the earthy colors of fall.” So if I want to be “liked” enough to score well, I just do a black white rom. It works, But gets a little monotonous. Secondly, accessories (like artwork) are generally awarded as bonuses based on the running total a player has “spent” furnishing their rooms. There aren’t enough pieces for someone like me who enters nearly daily. And the pieces one CAN buy are quite limited in number. So players are left designing rooms around the same art pieces many times, limiting the ability to ty new things & taking some fun out of the game. Finally, it would be great if players could add window treatments & buy throw pillows! & even make suggestions on new items or brands that could be carried in the store!
My favorite App!
by 19Shari67 on 2018/03/18 04:30
I really enjoy this game. It is the most used app on my phone. I could spend hours playing....and do. I even log in as much as possible to watch the ad/vids to get the free diamonds...and also do as much of the tapjoy stuff as possible. I’ve also spent a few dollars here and there. I’ve never done that on any other game. 😊 I do use the = sign a lot when voting though, because when two rooms are randomly paired against each other....I may like one of them better....but I never vote against a room if I think it’s nicely done....even if there aren’t any plants or wall art. I’ve also seen a lot of critiques about high scoring rooms not always adhering to theme requirements, but I disagree with them, because even though a theme or type of room is suggested, the only actual requirements are the ones that actually say “REQUIREMENTS”...lol. Your room can’t be entered without meeting the “requirements”, thusly all entrees have already met requirements before they enter voting. Recently, I’ve also noticed that now I’m able to save my design (rooms in progress) even when I have to close the app and come back! That’s just one more thing for me to love about this game. Well done, DH!
Fun but not practical
by Tsst arbo on 2017/10/07 10:42
I enjoy the idea of this game. The designs are awesome and overall I enjoy playing it. However, we are all literally on a designing budget. The game is set up to design many homes/spaces from around the world. Different styles, etc. What bugs me most is that all of the add-ons cost jewels like for example 500 gems (which are hard to even get) and up for wall decor (which bugs me the most! Most people shop at Kirkland’s and Hobby Lobby and spend $50 on wall decor) or 150 for a bouquet of flowers or small plant. That’s just not practical. I watch every video to get more and try to do the other things like viewing slideshows and quizzes and playing games and MOST of the time I don’t even get the gems that are offered. They probably owe me over 20k gems. I think that if everything is going to be so expensive, you should have options that at least allow users to use their digital money. Also I have added friends to play and they have downloaded the app and like the idea but also complain about the same things- to where they don’t really play it as much- and where is the reward for getting friends to do play? Come on guys- don’t be so stingy ;)
Resist the Turquoise
by Maggitoburrito on 2019/01/07 14:02
The sheer brilliance of this game has just struck me. It’s a social experiment, and those behind it are studying what is commonly referred to as “the herd instinct.” Let me explain. The winning rooms, those with the highest scores, tend to be in shades of blue and turquoise to be more precise. Black and white is also highly preferred. There can be only be one true color, with the other color being white. Grey is popular, as well. An all-grey room will usually garner a high score, even if it’s a room in real life that would make you question your sanity. Vibrant colors and bold design statements will ensure a low score, with occasional exceptions. There have to be exceptions to make the game, you know, “believable.” In any case, the purpose of this game is to test individuals’ ability to resist trends and above all the desire to win. How many times have I designed one of these turquoise rooms only to erase it and create a room with color and style and interest. Yes, I’m usually “punished” for this in terms of scores, but the real joy of the game is in its variety and learning to harmonize shapes and colors and textures. So if you play this game stop voting for turquoise and start learning to think for yourself. “They” are watching.
Unfair voting process
by ninjatigrrr on 2018/05/29 13:45
After playing this game with much love for well over a year, I’ve just recently encountered an issue that really ticks me off. I finally improved my design skills after some time of playing and started receiving 5.00s on nearly half of the challenges. However, for the last couple of months, despite the fact that my design skills have actually improved, I rarely ever make it close to 5.00 anymore! I’ve noticed that the voting isn’t random, the developers obviously set it up so that designs of similar skill level are matched against each other, which seriously screws up the voting distribution! It means that rooms that don’t look that great get more votes, and the rooms that look good get less! Often when I look at the top designs for each challenge, I’m appalled at what some of them look like. There’s usually 3 designs that look okay, and only two that actually look pretty good. That’s not right. All the top designs should stand out as superior, and that’s just not the case most of the time. I see some amazing designs that don’t get close to 5.00s, and I see some pretty lousy designs that do. Please, please, fix this! There are definitely other (tolerable) issues with this game, but if you can just fix the voting I’d give you a 5 star rating instead of a 3.

Extremely poor customer service and reliability in this app.

easy to use, addicting and you will want to spend money on diamonds but you can earn them in the “free” section, which i do a lot! but i also happily spend a little cash too because i enjoy my designs~ love it! thanx developers 😊
Love it

It doesn’t work and it’s a waste of time.

by Melinda Waybright on 2019/02/08 13:17

Very Angry
by 1mom1son on 2019/02/03 23:02
I have been playing for well over a year and loved the game!!
Could be better...
by Big sis 🤷🏼‍♀️ on 2019/02/03 21:26
I think it would be better if there was a free part of this.

Great game
by DonnaFirsty on 2019/02/11 06:18
This game is a lot of fun!
Designing
by robinpack220 on 2018/07/27 17:47
This is a very fun way to keep current in home design.
This game has issues that must be resolved!
by kelly407 on 2018/04/03 19:05
I've been playing this game for 3 months now and enjoy it a lot.

Overspending
by LBWS on 2018/10/13 20:58
I agree that this game is great.
Unfortunately
by cindydavidson on 2018/10/08 14:52
It is difficult for me to write this but others need to know.
From an active player
by MLSTF on 2018/10/22 02:11
I love this app.
