I'm fairly sure that this app indicates dB, and not dB(A). The 'A' weighting filter would show much lower levels in most situations.

Very high readings compared to another app which agrees with my eagle sound level meter

100 DECIBELS IS ENOUGH TO CAUSE MINOR EAR DAMAGE AND THIS APP SEEMS TO THINK IT IS ALWAYS THIS VOLUME!!! But seriously this app is broken.

Yes, a quiet environment shows around the mid 40's, but tested our washing machine and other household items to good effect, and showed constant results.....on my iPad.

I have the free version of the app. which I'm happy to recommend. Very Good app. Obviously as its uncalibrated can't be sure of its absolute accuracy as some have complained about but for a free app. it does everything I could of hoped for. Use it for volume comparison with my hi fi.
