I use this app for cardio at home, although it can be used as a tracker I use it with my Bluetooth heart rate monitor and I love the visuals it offers. The live tracking HR zone is my favourite for when I use kettlebells.

For some reason, most likely the yearly subscription addition to new iCardio, i can no longer use the old version as had to restore my phone and no longer on iTunes. I went gym today and tried to use the new iCardio and it wouldn’t pair with polar heart rate app, in fact it wouldn’t even pair with it and app kept crashing. Ended up just using Apple Watch for now. Please give us option to restore to old iCardio.

Great workout app
by Caz0609 on 2018/09/27 19:02
Have been using the app since 2012. I’ve tried others during this time but much prefer iCardio. It’s easy to use, results are accurate and connects easily to my external HRM and cadence sensor. I’ve been extremely impressed with the support team with the support they give and the ongoing developments they continue to make to keep up with changes in technology. Highly recommend
Keeps me in track of my workout
by Khonjeja on 2018/06/22 15:35
I’ve been using this app for some years now and I can’t fault it in anyway. Using my Fitbit heart rate monitor the app is able provide real time heart rate that can be crosschecked with gym equipment to be exact. I am using iPhone 7 now and it’s just wonderful that afterwards the exercise are automatically synchronised with my Fitbit Acc, TactioHealth and MyFitnessPal. Just want to say “Thanks”.
Excellent Motivational Workout App!
by mhrroman on 2018/03/02 08:00
iCardio is the only one App I think that counts your fitness level, calories, duration, workouts route etc for wide range of physical activities. For me too much walking is prohibited due to arthritis in articular cartilage. But, I do core strengthening exercises, physiotherapy through which I burn lots of calories by raising heart rate. Most of the Apps counts for high intensity based exercises. But, there are so many people like me who can’t do such tough exercises due to past physical trauma. Now doing physiotherapy, core strengthening exercises provides a great motivation when iCardio measures my active minutes, BPM, calories on my Apple Watch. This App is also linked with other apps for fitness tracker. So by syncing data from other fitness trackers you can also monitor your physical performance.
Enjoying?
by MarvoGing on 2018/02/03 12:14
Rather woolly privacy policy but trying app now for a month on new iPhone X and new Apple Watch, mainly for indoor rowing. Sometimes app won’t Bluetooth sync up with watch and workout data is then not logged. Heart rate can go up two zones just sitting on the erg trying to get app to work, rebooting phone, rebooting watch, restarting app. I would like to see a clear visual on phone screen of what heart rate zone I am in. Also paid about 7 quid for this so don’t really expect my data to be merchandised or to be served any adverts such as videos for slimming pills disguised as sports science. Insufficient goodwill at this stage to consider opening up the full app on the two higher subscription levels, for functionality I had assumed would be covered by the initial payment. Update: 5 weeks spending a good deal of my precious workout time trying to get app to connect to new Apple Watch and iPhoneX mainly just getting cross and raising heart rate for the wrong reason just sat on the erg poking my phone and rebooting the watch. When it works (sometimes) the graphs are interesting but I do not plan to be your beta tester in my workout time. POS. Deleting.

Digifit is the heart and brains of my workout regime. Live that it links to everything I use - all ant +. And my powertap bike, training peaks and even soon fitbit. Every time I have raised an issue or idea with them they have responded fast. In the last month on a sprint regime I have shifted my aerobic threshold from 137 BPM to 162 BPM - made massively easier by the great graphical interface and their links with Newleaf - no better health app out there and they are innovating fast. Thanks guys!!!
Very good cardio tracker
by dhegyi on 2011/10/24 00:12
Only app that is suited for gym, tennis, etc. gives good feedback on entering different heart rate zones.
Wow
by Johnymc1 on 2011/09/30 05:35
Relatively expensive but streets ahead of the rest- the heart rate voice guidance being particularly good. Would probably be enhanced with greater screen customisation and weight monitoring, as mentioned by other reviews but overall the most complete training tool by a mile.
Great app
by Becsterbjorn on 2011/09/06 16:45
Great app. Gives good feedback and keeps track of all my training. Looking forward to the walking addition next month. Only downside can have a tendency to crash every so often which is really frustrating in middle of a workout session.

Yep - this is a very good app for cyclists using ANT+ sensors
by AlanWestwood on 2011/06/21 19:11
I've been collecting bike training data since 1994, with a variety of devices including bike computers and since 2006 various Garmin, Polar, VDO, and phone apps. Having been converted to an iPhone, I needed an ANT+ compliant app so downloaded all the Fisica compliant apps listed on their website, even the pro/paid versions. They vary enormously in quality, and some are frankly rubbish. This one stands out for several reasons: 1. It works properly - some don't work properly in one way or another, for example incorrect data collection or export, and others stop collecting data (or even crash) when you switch the screen off with the iPhone Sleep button. 2. The screens are very visible and do not overload the view in active training mode (in some of the others the screen is hard to see especially in sunlight and in others the text is just too small to view at a glance whilst training). 3. The screens are customisable, so users in different sports can change them as they require - taste and needs differ between individuals and even between sub categories of the same sport (eg road cycling, crit races, mountain biking, downhillers, touring rides). And, of course, the screen display the user wants depends on what devices they're using - who wants a redundant cadence or heart rate field if they don't have the device? 4. This app has a very useful structured workout feature, especially handy for indoor training on rollers or a turbo. 5. The autopause works well - many do not - this is a key feature for cyclists. 6. It has a Digital Web Locker facility which not only backups up your data and settings but lets you use them on multiple devices (phones, iPad, etc), or transfer them really easily to your new phone. It works wonderfully well. 7. Last, but by no means least, the online support pages are very good indeed. At present, in my view, this is the best of the bunch, though the Wahoo app is also very good. Its more expensive than the others, but worth it I think. Incidentally, user support on FaceBook or by email is superb - replies in 24 hours max. Well done DigiFit - this is a good app for Fisica users (there is also a DigiFit ANT+ key and a Bike Case Key if you haven't got or can't get the Fisica version). Also, by the way, the export to TrainingPeaks works seamlessly even using the free TP account, and TP gives you detailed analysis if you want a premium account. But if you don't (and TP Premium is expensive) you can still export a pwx file from the basic TP Account and import it into most other decent sports software (including Sport Tracks, which will calculate a host of training measurements for you offline). Anything missing - yes, laps and a tcx export - both very useful. But otherwise, everything I need for heart rate, speed, and cadence monitoring together with a mapped track.
Keep track of your training

This is what I have been looking for. Great for tracking and graphing your heart rate during workouts to keep you in the right zone. Would love to see some features added to the fitness tab. Perhaps a space to record and track your own body measurements ie waist, legs, arms etc. All in all great app. Looking forward to seeing where they take it.

by Caz0609 on 2018/09/27 19:02
Have been using the app since 2012.
Enjoying?

Preferred the old version
by Red eye jedii on 2018/10/21 22:30
For some reason, most likely the yearly subscription addition to new iCardio, i can no longer use the old version as had to restore my phone and no longer on iTunes. I went gym today and tried to use the new iCardio and it wouldn’t pair with polar heart rate app, in fact it wouldn’t even pair with it and app kept crashing. Ended up just using Apple Watch for now. Please give us option to restore to old iCardio.
It’s very good
by wannabe2018 on 2019/01/29 09:38
I use this app for cardio at home, although it can be used as a tracker I use it with my Bluetooth heart rate monitor and I love the visuals it offers. The live tracking HR zone is my favourite for when I use kettlebells.
