I find the PILOTLOG very easy to use and would recommend it
Good product awful customer service
by CPH125 on 2020/02/02 06:11
Had compatibility issues with Mac OS10 and MCC Pilotlog wouldn’t launch. This was listed as a known problem on the website but I couldn’t access any of my data. Tried contacting customer service and in 1 month of emailing I received 1 response which simply asked for my license key. I ended up going to a Mac specialist and sorting it myself at my own expense. Hands down the worst/non existent customer service I have ever seen! Product is 4* Customer service is 0* Averages out at a 2 overall Ticket ID #122733
It Finally Works!
by Whoosh on 2019/12/29 02:26
I confess I slated this piece of software when forced to switch from mccpilotlog. It failed dismally to do any of the functions that I required and would not sync on any of my devices. I am delighted to now report that it finally works and the team appear to have corrected many of the bugs that you will have read about in the reviews. The syncing is now easy and straight forward and the software works seamlessly across my iPad, iPhone and iMac. There are still items that I would like to see improved but these are not game changing and are personal preferences. This app now does what I wanted when I switched from LogTenPro a number of years ago. For a reasonable price it delivers a true electronic logbook.
Not working
by Rotorgoat on 2019/12/15 11:04
I also like many bit the bullet to change from logten pro to crewlounge. What a mistake! I managed to import my old data with a lot of errors and then tried to sync. I use the iPhone most of the time to input flight data and my synced iPhone says 0 flights?? I have over 6000 hours so hoped this would work well. No response from them either other than to say the waiting list for support is 8 days +. I’ve had to buy another year of logten just to keep my logbook up to date. It’s all good and well to offer a lifetime license but it is ESSENTIAL to get the mobile version working!!

Update: switching back to MCC. Sync issues from phone to iPad and Mac. Nothing matches. Data from phone is missing on iPad. iPad becomes the new master and overwrites the iPhone. Terrible. Even after you sync, it doesn’t update the stamp to show it’s just been done. Have to keep a physical logbook copy just to make sure I have the correct times Update. Can we have a “Today” button on the flight list just like you have in the crew lounge connect app. The scrolling issue makes the iPad not user friendly. App is more stable so well done. On the flights page, please remove past experience or only give us the choice to view upcoming flights... I don’t want to scroll through 2500 to get to today’s flights (just like mccPilotLog did). Allow us to order the menu. “Totals” is more important to me than “weather, airfield, aircraft” etc weather is essentially useless as we all use dedicated weather apps that are more user friendly. Also allow us to remove Drone completely. Useless for the vast majority of us!
An improvement but fix roster/historical import!
by JamesHawks on 2019/11/22 14:36
There has been constant problems for the launch earlier this year and it's taken until now to be seems like what should have been released the first time. An actual 64bit app for the desktop and this app which doesn't crash anymore on launching or selecting various tabs. The desktop app now doesn't allow the import of my airline roster so have to use the new app which in theory is great because I won't have to rely on grabbing my laptop out, booting it up and syncing with that everytime I get a new Roster. However, the app airline roster import doesn't work in bringing the flights into the app, you can start the download and it finds my roster find and manages to figure out all the flights and duties I have but it then doesn't transfer them to the actual logbook as future flights...making it useless. The most frustrating part is the 'historical roster download'. We get changed to our roster or a standby changes to a duty or after I've finished a day of flying and submitted the journey log it should be able to update the flights with the actual times but it just doesn't do this. You download the historical data and it clearly can see the changes and data but once again doesn't import it to the logbook making it once again useless at what should be one of the more important basic features. Please sort this asap! Another thing with iOS 13 dark mode, you have fixed the issue where everything was unreadable because I don't think you actually created a dark mode and just let it do its own adjustment, so now it just appears as the normal white theme if you have dark mode enabled. Would be nice to have a dedicated dark mode theme but this isn't a priority now that it is useable again!
It works!

Glad the developers seemed to have reset, and re-released with V5.2. Overall working really well.
Absolutey terrible. I am stuck with them
by jcook6788 on 2019/11/20 22:13
Please do not use this company. Absolutely the most confusing and frustrating software that I have been battling with for over a year and still does not function as a simple log book!! Customer service is a long stream of polite emails telling you to uninstall and reinstall software. Have never used a product more annoying

Good to see you back guys. Finally. The app is definitely more stable and improvements noted. Thanks.
Still a world of hurt
by Sinbad_633 on 2019/11/10 15:51
Some improvements have been made with version 5.2 of the Mac app (it doesn’t crash on launch at least now) and this version of the iOS app. I refer to them together as they are part of the crewlounge ecosystem that they work together. The mac app will no longer download my historical roster from my airlines AIMS system so I need to do this on the iOS app. The iOS app now at least does sync with crewlounge servers. However for the airline download, the process completes, claims it has parsed flights, these flights do not turn up in the logbook however. I’m a regional pilot and complete several sectors a day, airline syncing is critical for me just due to the number of flights. Still 90 euros invested with these guys and some of the most important features are broken. Looking at competitors and I suggest you do too.
Terrible
by Ninjatom_0 on 2019/11/05 22:47
After waiting ages for an update to the desktop software and mobile app, there are still more bugs and syncing does not work. I can’t even import my flights from the airline interface anymore. Unusable.
So many bugs
by Jonnie C on 2019/11/05 10:09
After spending countless hours importing my previous experience from my own spreadsheet, I’ve found that even though my hour count is correct on the cloud, no flights are syncing to my iPhone or iPad. The most frustrating part is that when I tap ‘sync’, it says it’s syncing 2500 flights, but none of them appear. Also if I tap on ‘total hours’ on my iPhone and iPad, the app crashes. No contact phone number and so far no response to any of my support requests online.

Not working

I also like many bit the bullet to change from logten pro to crewlounge. What a mistake! I managed to import my old data with a lot of errors and then tried to sync. I use the iPhone most of the time to input flight data and my synced iPhone says 0 flights?? I have over 6000 hours so hoped this would work well. No response from them either other than to say the waiting list for support is 8 days +. I’ve had to buy another year of logten just to keep my logbook up to date. It’s all good and well to offer a lifetime license but it is ESSENTIAL to get the mobile version working!!
Things are looking up

As per the other reviews had some issues but the new releases seem to have done the trick! Well done. We seem to be back up and running!
Absolutey terrible. I am stuck with them

Please do not use this company. Absolutely the most confusing and frustrating software that I have been battling with for over a year and still does not function as a simple log book!! Customer service is a long stream of polite emails telling you to uninstall and reinstall software. Have never used a product more annoying
It works great now!

Good to see you back guys. Finally. The app is definitely more stable and improvements noted. Thanks.

Glad the developers seemed to have reset, and re-released with V5.2. Overall working really well.
Terrible

After waiting ages for an update to the desktop software and mobile app, there are still more bugs and syncing does not work. I can’t even import my flights from the airline interface anymore. Unusable.
Very good App

I find the PILOTLOG very easy to use and would recommend it
5.2 doesn’t sync

Really disappointed, they have just released an update to 5.2, and this app still doesn’t sync. I give up. I wish I never invested in this
Good product awful customer service
by CPH125 on 2020/02/02 06:11
Had compatibility issues with Mac OS10 and MCC Pilotlog wouldn’t launch.
